All veto players got shirts |
Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Squalor Squirrels:
- The veto players were actually picked last night -- Paul, Kevin and Josh in addition to Matt, Raven and Jason.
- So, the hamsters thought the comp would be a night comp.
- It wasn't.
- Heh.
- They worried for nothing!
- The core group that aren't nominees keep going back and forth a bit over who they want out more.
- But thankfully, it's still sticking with Matt or Raven.
- Kevin is on the short list, though.
- Jason wants to keep the nominations the same so one of them goes.
- Raven has been asking people (Jason/Paul) to save her if one of them wins the veto.
- She actually thinks that might happen.
- The others are letting Kevin stew thinking he might be backdoored.
- Well, the comp was the hide the veto placards, then go around the house ripping it up looking for hidden vetoes.
- Jason won!
- Raven is hoping Jason will keep his promise.
- Heh.
- Paul now has a new floatie toucan he's named Traybo. Or Trayvo. Something like that.
- Jason also wore a floatie frog around for a bit. He said he'd wear it long enough to get it on television, then give it to his son Gatlyn when he goes home.
- I don't think Jason will use the veto.
- And, oh so sadly, either Matt or Raven should go home this week.
- It's just breaking my heart to know that one of them will leave us.
- They've both been such a big part of the house and of entertainment value this season.
- Sniffle.
- Ha.

Jsson told Kevin that he may pull down Raven with the Veto and put Kevin on the block. Jason told Kevin that Raven thinks Kevin is going home. Kevin does not want to be on the block because he would have to pack!
Sharon, lol. I have a lot of room in my brain for useless information. Ask me what I had for breakfast yesterday and I'd say, "What???"! I remember the big twist and season themes and some of the biggest comps and evictions going back to when I starting watching religiously. I can't tell you who the third or 4th Golden keys were in S13, but Dani and Porsche are easy to remember. Porsche's partner was the playboy and he went out week one because Rachel and the vet crew decided it would be an easy vote and they were willing to give Porsche the safety key. :))) If Shelly hadn't voted for Rachel, Porsche would have won that season having done very little to nothing the entire first half of the season other than voting with the vets and then the other side when they were in power. Adam Poch actually thought that Porsche deserved to win that season. @@
I hope you're right Jackie!
Jason is apparently going with the plan to make Kevin nervous/paranoid by telling Kevin that he's going to take down Raven and put him up. Hopefully, Kevin will lay low and stay out of the line of fire.
If Alex convinces Jason to do that, I will be so pissed at Jason. You CANNOT put Kevin on the block. Christmas, Paul, Josh, Alex and Matt will vote him out and then Jason will be alone on an island. Don't do it, Jason!!!!!
I hope Jason does not take Raven down and put Kevin up, either. I'm so tired of hearing Alex dis Kevin all the time. It's like I said, I can't wait for this to be over; and they all find out the truth. I know his daughter, who is running his twitter account, can't stand any one in that house. I feel sorry for Kevin. I am sure he's a wonderful father and misses his children tremendously. He needs to pick up his game. He needs to win a competition.
I read that they destroyed some of the areas for this comp. I guess it was the one where they hid their veto and the last one that was found, won. From what I understand, Matt and Raven tore the bedroom's apart. But, they do that every year. I remember when James and Caleb (I think those 2) dumped out all the cereal. Every year, these people destroy the house.
I really don't think Jason will, but you never know. They all think that the VETO ceremony will be tonight and a special eviction tomorrow (Paul's logic). It isn't and we know this will be a typical week. Stay strong JASON.... DON'TPUTKEVINUP!!!
It drives me nuts to hear Jason and Alex talk about certain people. The person is either lying or there's something mentally wrong with them. Call the kettle black, guys.
Then they all start talking about how America probably loves them and they can't wait to see how popular they are. Boy, they will be so shocked, won't they? Everyone they hate, people love, including Kevin.
I'm trying not to feel sorry for Raven. I'm sure she does have medical problems. She wouldn't have a pace maker otherwise. But all she does is talk about herself. It's just as bad as the houseguests talking about how great of a game they are playing. Fact is, fans are not talking great about Raven. They are calling her mom and her scammers. I hope she is not scamming people. I know she's sick, but just how sick is she?
they have the yard back so there goes Paul's theory, LOL
Oh dear Lord... Christmas and Alex are double teaming Jason. DON'T DO IT JASON!!!
Now Paul is there. Jason is getting TRIPLE teamed. ugh
Ugh. These people need to think for themselves!!
tbc, I'm keeping my fingers crossed hoping that Jason won't do that to Kevin. Janelle did it to Kaysar and Marcellas, or maybe Howie was one of them, though in All Stars and Will and Boogie screwed her over. Hoping Jason doesn't go down that rabbit hole.
I remember that now that you mention it! I remember being so surprised.
I don't want Kevin on the block. Just leave the nominations alone and get Raven out! Although cereal boy can go to!!
Oh come on, Jason. Don't do this to Kevin! The problem is, every time he talks to Kevin, he goes back and tells Alex everything and they make fun of Kevin. I just do not want Kevin to go home. :::sniff:::
Thank you to every one for the updates. Jackie, thank you for giving us a place to come. I am bummed that I will not be here Wed or TH. I am so hoping Jason keeps everything the same.
KEVINFORAFP no matter who is left at the end!!! Kevin's been my favorite all season long because he truly makes the feeds enjoyable. His morning rounds with Jason are the funniest and most real talk in the house from ANY of them.
Kevin For AFP
You'd think Jason would start to wonder why Paul is so adamant about Jason's choice not to put up Kevin. But with his partner Alex pushing him too, it's probably not going to be good news. After a while though, most people will get their "backs up" about being pushed to do something they don't really want to do.
We can hope. :(
Agree Monty. KEVIN FOR AFP!!
It appears a lot of people are telling Jessica they will be voting for Cody/Jess, but I hope there's enough of us who will vote Kevin.
Jason better lock his HOH door tonight or they will be all over him ALL NIGHT LONG.
I'm actually hoping that Jason pulls a Renny and puts his foot down. Another one that I remember. Dan was trying to get Renny to put Michelle up so bad and she was like NO WAY. She wanted to go after April and Ollie. Renny was probably the only player in that season that seriously went against Dan towards the end of the game and they were in a quasi alliance.
Lol, Renny remains my very best BB character ever. Everyone thought she was just a dingbat and didn't know anything about the game, but once she got HOH she wasn't listening to anyone other than her gut. Still love me some Renny. :))))
I'm hoping Jason gets a gut-full of being put down by Alex and pushed by Alex/Paul.
It would be funny if he pulled Raven, watched all the smiles... and put up Paul.
One can hope. Whole lotta that going on tonight! :D
Renny also didn't like Memphis, lol. She was wise and smart not to. I think she may have put him up too her HOH week. Didn't work out in the end, but she was on to something.
Or Josh, Sharon. He has options to take Raven down and put someone else up beside Kevin, but I don't think he will do that. Leave the NOMS the same Jason!!!
I just love Kevin. I want someone to win AFP at the end that will send a message to Paul, Josh, Jason, Alex, and Christmas, that their game play sucked.
I'm really torn who I want to vote for AFP. I know they'll be upset to see Kevin win, but it will be a literal slap in the face if Cody wins. It will literally shock them. On twitter, Jessica told her fans to vote Cody so it won't split the votes. Of course, Kevin's daughter is pushing for her dad. He just makes me sad looking at him. You know he's missing his kids so badly. I am so tired of hearing Alex talking smack about him. Grrrrr.
At least there was some thought-processing going on back then.
These people are so easily led, not an original thought among them.
I could never vote for Cody for AFP. Sorry, but I don't forget the first half of the season. That's just me though.
I think Cody ruined the Marines for me. I hired a new employee fresh out of the Marines this week at work. As I was going through getting all the paperwork done and his orientation, all I could think of was CODY. Thankfully, while he had Marines manners when dealing with an older woman, he didn't have any Cody-isms! But no way would I vote for Cody as my favorite. He's just not.
Agree, Jackie. And, I'm not trying to start anything here on the blog... I just cant't. Period.
*can't (and won't)
I have to admit that I weighed voting for Cody (for a while), but that was only to stick it to the rest and send them into shock. That's all it would have been, and it's probably the same for the majority who would vote for him.
While Kevin is certainly no BB gamer, he is a nice guy, and he's made a dismal season somewhat better for us. All while feeling a lot of separation anxiety and loneliness. After treating him so well the first few weeks, it's sad that they have started to shun him (to some level). Paul changed the vibes towards Kevin and I honestly think it's because Paul can't figure Kevin out.
I really think Paul fears that Kevin smells Paul's BS, AND Kevin is more than he portrays. heh Raising 7 kids, I have no doubt that Kevin is a no-nonsense kind of guy, and probably would call him out... if he where the vibes started.
... *if he knew where the vibes started.
The majority of the Marines are wonderful people. I just wish Cody could be like he was in his interviews. I think Cody tried to do too much, too soon. He did say in his interviews how he was going to play the game. He played it that way. Problem is, you can not play this game without a social game. You can't hide yourself away and treat everyone like second class citizens. I don't think the others were any better, but at least they had a social game.
Since I've been around military most of my life, I wasn't going to judge the Marines by Cody. I've known too many. The house does different things to different people. Cody chose to play the game with no socials skills at all. When he felt himself backed up against the wall, instead talking to people, he attacked them. During that time, the rest of the house chose to act worse than Cody.
It's not that I think everything Cody did nothing wrong. He sucked at social skills. He decided to go hard core; and in turn, the others went just as hard, if not harder. It would get their panties in a twist if Cody won.
What makes it hard, is I love Kevin. The houseguests are treating him almost as bad as they did Cody. They don't believe anything he says. They think they are playing a fan favorite game. Anyone BUT Paul, Josh, Alex, Christmas, Jason, Matt or Raven.
I had to watch Maven/Ratt for a little bit just for giggles. They are CLUELESS!!
Yeah they are, Monty. They're playing for the Jury, you know? LOL
I never thought anything one way or another about Cody because he was military or Marines. I just watched him on the feeds and decided that I did not like him or his game play. I don't do identity things in my real life and I don't do them when it comes to liking a BB player or not, lol. Just me!
My brother hated Cody. He watched the feeds (I only watch for 2 hours on POP). He'd tell me some of the things and I definitely cringed. I can understand how others feel. He really did have a terrible game play.
When I have a choice of two feeds (yes, there are four but they're only on two with different cameras) I always choose the feed that Kevin and or Jason is on. They're honestly my favorite people in there. I think they are the most real two in there, and they aren't trying to make something career wise out of the season. Well, Jason is there for the exposure for his rodeo life with Ole, but he isn't there to build a career in the limelight like most of them think they will get out of this. I'm rooting for Jason because he has the ability to win comps down the road and of course I'm rooting for Kevin. I don't think Kevin has a chance in you know what, but I still love him.
Listening to Matt talk...
Raven is either dragging down his brain-power, or it was never 'there.'
LOL @ Sharon. It was probably never "there." LOL
Rodeo clowns are exceptional. They have to be super nimble to get the bull away from the rider. AND, they have to be able to get away from the bull. Of all of them in the house, I, too, love to listen to the banter between Kevin and Jason. I just don't like it when Jason goes to Alex and tells her everything and start making fun of Kevin. I really wish Kevin would pick up his pace and start winning HOH.
I hope Jason doesn't listen to the others and leaves it the same.... OR blows it out of the water by back dooring Paul! Boom!!!! That would be big!
THAT would be big! If he back doored Paul, he would deserve a win. LOL
Agree with Penny!! Jason sucks when it comes to listening to Alex most of the time. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that he doesn't put Kevin up with a pawn situation because Kevin will go home. Please for the love of all things HOLY BB, do not do that Jason. I have my doubts now with tonight and all day tomorrow. Stick to you guns, Jason!!!
Unfortunately, even if Jason put up Paul, nobody would vote him out.
They're all convinced he's doing so much for their benefit. @@
It's insane.
I have given Alex credit for playing well socially at times, however, her trying to get Jason to vote out Kevin is so ridiculous and illogical for both her and Jason's game, I just do not get it. The sad thing is that Alex is going against her best friend in the game so that Paul can be in a better position to get HER out! How can she not see that?! She is so clueless!
I wish Jason would talk to Kevin about the rumors he's heard so they can possibly clear things up. They seem to have such a genuine friendship and are both good guys. I don't think Jason would care about Kevin winning the 25k (or even a rogue vote or two), but maybe wonders why Kevin never told him yet chose to tell Paul instead. I'm sure as his closest friend, Jason expects Kevin would have told him and, since he didn't and even lied multiple times about it, Jason questions his loyalty. People need to start communicating but Paul is making that pretty much impossible.
^5 Sharon... yes! Annabelle, that would be perfect and I think Kevin spilled enough to get Jason thinking tonight, but Alex, Christmas and Paul sort of negated that afterward. I'm throwing my float train to Jason right now. He has to stay sharp and win when he needs to, but I think he can do it. GO WHISTLE NUT
I wonder when Jason will suddenly become aware that Paul is NOT his friend.
Probably not until he's in jury and notes get compared.
Hmmmm....I can't remember if BB allows them to talk (in jury) about things that were said and the things that happened in the house?
So true!
Thinking about Kevin's chances for AFP: How many of those likely to vote are feeders and enjoy Kevin, and how many watch only the broadcast show and see him as the old droopy guy who's not involved in anything - except when he steps between people who are yelling at each other and spoils all the potential fun?
Kevin WAS my AFP choice for a couple of weeks, but I have someone else in mind.
I think Alex knows exactly what she's doing. She knows if Jason back doored Paul he would win the game! She wants to be the one to take Paul out if he's taken out. Personally, I think at first they would be nervous to take out Paul. But, if Jason goes for it and points out how he has manipulated all of them and would win in the end... they would cave and get rid of him. Alex really thinks she could win up against Paul... Jason has to seriously start making moves and play the BB game!
I would never just think of Kevin as a grumpy old man. He's really not that old. I feel so sad for him because he really misses his family; and most of the HG's just don't care. If only he'd win HOH, he'd get a letter from home and pictures of his children. However, maybe he doesn't want them to know anything about him. I wonder if he knows they think he's lying about everything?
I hope Jason starts playing his own game. Even though he goes back and tells Alex and Paul every thing Kevin says, I hope he has some bond with Kevin and not put him up.
Me too Penny...
