Josh dressed the stuffed owls |
Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of I Feel the Earth Move Under My Feet:
- The stuffed owls, Theodore and Orwell, were dressed up by Josh to watch them play cards.
- Nobody else wants to watch them play cards.
- There was a minor earthquake which got Josh all excited.
- Nothing serious, mind you.
- But it doesn't take much to excite Josh.
- Other than that, nothing has changed -- it will still be Josh and Paul as the final two and they believe Christmas will win America's Favorite Player.
- Thank goodness this train wreck of a season ends tomorrow.
After the earthquake |

Please, please, please let CBS show the look on their faces when 2 of the top 3 AFP are Cody and Kevin. #Karma!
BB19 = Unadulterated Crapola
As much as I want Paul to come in second, just to see his face, I fear if he doesn't win they will bring him back again. Can't wait for the whole thing to be over.
Paul back for a third time is umimaginable. Yet he mentioned he would do this again in a hearbeat. What in the world does that say about his life outside the BB house?
It says that Paul is a big fish in a small pond in the BB house. And a nobody outside of it. Cannot wait for this season to be over.
What is it with all the HG's thinking they are/might be coming back. Yes, there has been a few that came back, but the odds are extremely small. Several of this seem to think several are all playing for a return to BB and I just don't understand that. Especially considering how useless this season was. So much delusion with these guys....
Voting for Cody just to pissed then off. Hope he and Kevin are 1 2
Some how Jackie you keep making a big Nothing very witty and interesting! Thank you for that..., I too am ready for this season to be over! I am fearful that the Celebrity BB will be much of the same type type of bullying and disgusting actions with the names leaked so far! Ugh.....
No more returning BB houseguests unless all the BB houseguests are returnees! If anything.... Make it all first voted out returnees who NEVER had a shot at winning! Now, that would be fair!!!
Again Jackie... thanks for having such an entertaining wit! Love it!
I know that Josh was an obnoxious man-child and there was lots of bullying, but as a casual watcher it was nice to finally have a season where there wasn't incessant, namby-pamby "voting with the house" and unanimous votes every week.
Haven't watched the show since mid-August but my son sent me this link today so I read it. Towards the end there's some speculation on AFHG.

I disagree with Grodner.... BB19 won't be remembered by "me" for Paul's game playing ability or for the showmances...
"I" will remember BB19 mostly for it being viscous and for it's bullying! Especially if Production sees ALL that was done within BB's rules and guidelines (something truly wrong with their rules and guidelines then... to me). Just as I remember BB8 as being mean spirited with Evel Dick. I didn't/don't like either season for those reasons and I had thought after BB8 that Production was steering away from that. Obviously I was wrong, according to this interview.
"I" will remember BB19 as it being the very first time that I was sure PRODUCTION played a key part in favoring "one" particular houseguest (Paul) right from the beginning! Discouraging!
I will remember BB19 as the first season that "I" REALLY NO LONGER wanted to watch the actual show... a shame after faithfully watching for 18 seasons!
This is what "I" will remember about season 19. SAD, BORING, DISCOURAGING & DISAPPOINTING!
Nice link there, Homie. I watched the Jessica interview that was embedded in it as well. I don't think any of it changed my opinions on the whole season but I always enjoy their take once they're out of there. As far as Grodner and Meehan, I think it just show that they really don't care who wins. They have the ratings and that's all they want. We all talk about this every single season, but when it comes down to it, they just don't care who wins. Season 9 should have put that one to rest, LOL.
See everyone tomorrow night for the BIG FINALE!!!
Oh... and in other news: Dr. Will will be doing the CBS interviews in the BY this year. Probably on FB live, but they will be on CBS later or on Thursday. Just read that at Hamsterwatch.
Thanks Monty!!!
Five years ago today... Ian won BIG BROTHER 14!!! Happy Winner Anniversary, Ian!! <3
One of my favorite winners :)))
Happy Winnerversary, Ian
I am glad that DR. Will is doing the backyard interviews. He should have a lot of inside information after doing the Jury roundtable. I think everyone is probably looking forward to the end of Big Brother this Season.
Jackie where do we sign up at for the Survivor pool at? I haven't seen the signup thread at. I can't wait to see this seasons Survivor. I was wondering is the Ponderosa only shown if you keep CBS All Access?
It's all about sponsors and money. The ONLY way CBS will care is if people stop watching the shows... and drop the Feeds (their moneymakers). Unless those things are seriously affected, there's no reason for CBS/BB to care.
With that said, I think we all realize that 'controversy' brings in viewers.
It brought in viewers before, and it did again this season. Which is why I believe CBS/BB prefers (and may even encourage) controversial and mean/nasty behaving hamsters now.
Glen, as far as I know, you can see the Ponderosa's at the CBS show site without All Access. They also put them up on YouTube. They don't show any until jury time, but they've always done it. The only reason I keep All Access year round is for the 24 hour access to all the seasons of the CBS shows. I can binge watch BB if I want to, any season, or Survivor, or any other one that they have on All Access and can watch shows that my DVR doesn't catch.
That is a great idea Monty> I was thinking about keeping the live access for Survivor plus I wouldn't have to remember to renew the all access. Plus as you said its a great backup to the dvr.
Kevin has my vote for America's Favorite...he wins the award for staying in the house with all the crazy hamsters. Kevin may be unemployed because in the Boston area if you are over 50 years old it is extremely difficult to obtain a job if laid off after 2008. Go Kevin
All of my votes have went to Kevin, but you all already knew that. :)))
Tomorrow is the last day to vote and you have to do it before, I think 9:29 am BBT.
Looking forward to the finale!!!
Just voted. I'll do it again tomorrow.
I won't be making the finale tomorrow as I have training for my new job (great timing, huh?). I'll miss the pool party! I dropped off the Pinot Grigio already. I didn't want to leave anyone stranded!! Have fun all!!
Looking forward to the end of this season and move on to Survivor!!
I just heard something that makes perfect sense to me. Could this BB finale be the Russell Hantz vs. Amanda Kimmel of Big Brother??? Interesting thought of who would win that duo on Survivor if it were left to only the two of them. Hmmm
tbc, congrats on your new job! :)
My votes have gone for Kevin as well. I don't know how anyone could tolerate that kind of abusive treatment for several weeks. Yet he managed to leave the house sane, and with class and good humor.
Watching the feeds. Josh's education must have been lacking because he apparently only knows one word. He must say 'eff' a minimum of 100 times in 30 minutes. It's his only conjunction. It flies out of mouth for no apparent reason, and seems to fill some kind of void when he's alone. @@
Just playing devil's advocate on Josh's vocabulary... when I was his age, I used that word a lot too. I grew out of it but it was my go to word back then as well even beyond my college education. If you have enough people around you using it like normal everyday language, you tend to do it too. Having said that, you also grow out of it eventually if you have enough people around you that don't use it and you realize it isn't really a cool thing to say in the company of adults/older adults that you socialize with and are friends in you social circle. My friends, who were slightly older than me, made me realize that. I wouldn't hold that against him. It is part of growing up as an adult, or at least it was for me.
Monty,
Yeah, I realize that's the way most of the younger generation talks, but it seems like over the summer, Josh has gotten so much worse than when he entered the house. Ditto with Xmas. All the influences and wanting to fit in.
Paul used to sound just as bad, but he's toned it down a bit. Perhaps one of the benefits of his 'pottymouth' cartoon?
It's a matter of three months over a couple of years for me. I'm cutting Josh some slack on the F word. It took me a long time, I'm happy that it isn't part of my every day language and I think he will get there in time. He has a business that he wants to grow and I'm sure his mother is going to smack him upside his head. :)))
*just to add before I hit the bed... I grew out of my potty mouth 30 years ago. I still give Josh, Paul, Christmas and all of them a pass on the F word. It's just a word that becomes a passage into adulthood to me. Doesn't bother me even though it bothers others. :)))
Christmas winning America's Favorite House Guest??? Hahahahahahahahahahaha!
Considering CBS brought back Boston Rob for the 3rd time so he could win, I can see CBS bringing Paul back if he doesn't win this time. So please jury, let him win so he can be done with it. However, the problem with him winning, is CBS will probably bring back the others, which would be horrible. I don't want to see any of them again, aside from Kevin. But, even then, he didn't play either. LOL
Ed, thank you for the link. I disagree with Meehan and Grodner. The showmances really did not have an effect on most people. I do not think it ruined any one's game that Paul didn't want to ruin in the first place. Considering he kept Matt and Raven around for so long proves that it meant nothing. The only reason Jody and Maven meant anything was because of their disagreement with Paul. They wouldn't play Paul's game. So, what did they do, they put pairs in the house.
To me, they could care less what people think. They got people talking. They could have just let a group of regular people in, but no, they brought Paul in, gave him advantages, and he grew legs. That's what they were hoping for. They bring them in to the DR and put ideas in to their heads. Just like Jeff does in Survivor.
They do make some good points. Josh and Christmas did get a lot of blood on their hands to make it to the F2. However, it was with a lot of help from Paul and his minions. Those in the jury help a lot in their own demise.
I am not a person who uses vulgar language. I never have. I grew up in an area where you just didn't use language like that. However, my mother had a mouth on her that would make a sailor blush. I never heard my dad use vulgar language, but, oh boy, my mom sure did. She never used the f word though.
I never used it in the military either. My first 5 years in the Air Force, I never heard the f-word. Other words were used, but not the F-word. It wasn't until the 80's, when I was overseas, did I hear the f-word a lot. Then, of course from then on. My daughter and her friends us it all the time. It's part of their language. I just don't use it.
As far as America's Favorite HG, I'm wondering how much they'll manipulate it? I am sure they really do not want it to go to Cody. They'd probably prefer Kevin. I love Kevin. I could sit down and listen to his stories forever. However, Cody was the only one who had the foresight to even consider getting rid of Paul. The only reason it didn't happen was because he had tried to do too much too soon. When it didn't go his way, his social game went to pot.
I am just anxious to see all other HGs faces when the two people they trash talked the loudest receive the most votes. I can't wait until the finale!!! Squeeeeeeee! LOL
The first day of voting for AF was all access subscribers only. It may still be even though now I get the you voted 20 times cut off.
Depending on what questions the jury asks, this could all blow up in Paul's face tonight. The jury pretty much knows the truth and if Paul continues to lie to them it could sink him. I think he is going to have to own his game play which also makes him look like an ass. He has painted himself into a corner and he is going to have to walk a fine line with his answers.
Josh owns his game and is proud of it. Though it was just following orders the whole time. There is not much he can do to make himself look good to the jury. He has to win the final HOH and take Christmas is what he needs to do to make himself look like the hero of the season.
I am glad this season will be over tonight. It has brought out some very bad feelings and I don't like to feel that way. This is supposed to be fun and something we can all laugh at. Not some down in the gutter, anything goes slugfest where he who throws the worst smelling crap wins.
Judy Sweeney suggested,"Make it all first voted out returnees who NEVER had a shot at winning! Now, that would be fair!!!"
That is a great proposal. Unfortunately there would be a shortage of young, hard bodied air heads that CBS likes to load up on for screen candy.
Our long nightmare will soon be over. This season will live on in eternity as the benchmark for bad seasons.
It might be difficult to get "first-outs" to return because of the effort it takes to arrange your life to disappear for an entire summer. I know I wouldn't go through that again if there was a fair chance I'd be voted out again before jury. Not unless they paid me up front for the whole summer no matter how long I lasted.
Oh, and that's the reason that for so many, jury is the goal, because then at least it's not all wasted effort, and less embarrassment.
I agree ~Silk. Cameron was a young guy, but Glenn & Jody were adults with jobs (I assume), and it can't be easy to suspend your real life for a summer.
Reconnected with a high school classmate on Facebook and found out he is married to Libra from BB10. WOW!!!
I think that would be a very cool idea - if they are going to bring back previous players, bring back those who never go a chance to play the game. Those evicted within the first week.
I don't want any more veterans.
I'm worried this season will make those to come play the same way and be more obnoxious. I just have to keep on realizing this is a game. They are playing for money. The name of the game is to win. Just because they are obnoxious in the game, doesn't mean they are like that in real life.
I read an article about the round table. Very interesting. I guess Raven and Matt are being pretty obnoxious. They are pounding the ground for Paul. They've been so obnoxious, they are turning people away from Paul. So, if Paul loses, it will be their fault. LOL
https://www.inquisitr.com/4502999/bb19-spoilers-who-hosted-jury-roundtable-and-who-do-jurors-hate-rumored-leak-reveals-who-could-win-game/
Christmas has already said that if she's brought back, she'll play a lot meaner. Of course, that's a fairly easy thing to say when you're talking yourself up to Josh & Paul. Truthfully, if she came back any meaner/nastier, she'd probably be voted out quickly. Well, unless they got another really stupid crew... willing to play Paul's type of game. BARF
an interesting, LONG article:
https://krazilialove.wordpress.com/2017/09/19/the-game-of-paul-abrahamian-how-big-brother-19-artificially-crafted-its-next-mastermind/
I can't imagine Christmas any meaner. She's pretty mean now. Yes, she'll get voted off fairly fast. Anyone participating in the next BB, will know who she is and get rid of her immediately
So many have complained about this season. I can't imagine any one who participates in BB20; or is it BB21; who will not know Christmas; or any of the BB19 crew. Christmas could have been promised a future game. Who knows? I hope they don't bring any of them back. But I can see Meeham and Grodner doing this. People talk about it. The more we talk, the more they like it.
I have to say, I won't be back if there is a returning HG. Nope. For the first time in 20 BB installations, I won't be watching if XXXmas or any other HG is asked back.
Anther link of an interview with Julie Chen. Like the link I posted above I really did not expect Grodner (above) or Julie (here) to say anything against BB19. After all they have a vested interest and need to protect their franchise. But 'off the record' I bet they know what's up.

Petals, thank you for the article. It's worth the long read. I agree with krazilialove. This entire season was strategically planned for Paul. Of course they needed a crew who would play along, but with a cast they carefully hand picked, it was easy.
Interesting read Petals, and says pretty much what most of us have been saying all season. I hope the writer is wrong and that Production isn't able to make everyone turn so the Jury votes for Paul to win.
The one thing prospective players can take from the kind of Production interference talked about in this article: if you are going to be on BB and want to play, make Production believe you agree to do everything they are trying to 'steer' you to do... then do the opposite!! LOL
Thank you, Sharon!!
