The Veto Meeting, blocked to the live feeds of course, is done and over. As expected, Michael did not use the veto. He really needs to stop winning these things as the wins put a lot of attention on him. Michael is one of the few I like this season. Yeah, I'm just grouchy old so-and-so this year!
Taylor and Pooch remain on the block. It seems like that doggy door will have a Pooch exit on FRIDAY.
Yes, you heard me. FRIDAY. Due to January 6 hearing news coverage on Thursday, the eviction has been moved to 8PM on Friday. I don't know how live or not it will be.

Anonymous, I think you're right. I know that I am sick and tired of the Jan 6 hearing and in fact I'm sick and tired of all politics. I love Big Brother because it's a break from all that.

Not everyone cares about the hearings. Many, many people including myself, are sick and tired of investigating everybody and every thing. Nothing gets done and too much taxpayer money is spent. And this applies to both parties.
And as for Big Brother - I'm really liking Nicole. She's my current favorite!

I think we all have very strong opinions on things, and yes this will make me sound even older but as my Momma used to say you don’t talk about religion, money, or politics in some circles I think this should be one of those circles, it’s not that those issues are not important and shouldn’t be discussed but let’s just try and keep this a Big Brother safe place where we all can agree on one thing our love for this show and the friendships we have built from that and of course all things Julie Chen Moonves lol I certainly hope I’m not overstepping anything or offending anyone saying what I have but for me this is a respite from the insanity of my life and the world at times. I know I’m a nerd and I embrace it, I genuinely look forward to each Jackie recap and episode and it’s not just the show but the people here that I consider friends and honestly you guys have gotten me through allot of very difficult times in my life and continue to do so by us just being here and with each other, laughing, rooting and just sharing parts of our lives and our thoughts on the show. Jackie is going through allot of things and I’m guessing she doesn’t need all this stuff spiraling out on something she does for free and had created as a place to gather and nerd out over a show. Please don’t make Jackie turn this car around lol Again I’m not trying to offend anyone and especially Jackie, or stir anything up let’s just try and keep our eyes here on the Big Brother prize and if we want to rant on other things we all can find what we are looking for and do so elsewhere. Thank you Jackie for having this for us and doing what you do!!!!

Well said JonMD1267> I'm sure I'm lots older than you (I'm over 80) but my "momma" taught me a similar thing. Religion, money and politics should be off limits except in certain circles or situations. I am very new to commenting on this blog but I have been reading it for a while and just now getting up to posting. Jackie does an excellent job and this by far is the most informative and interesting blog I've seen.

As previously announced, CBS News coverage of the House select committee’s public hearings on Jan. 6 will air this Thursday at 8/7c, during the regular time period for Big Brother‘s weekly eviction episode.
At first, CBS bumped Big Bro to Friday, where it was going to open the night and lead into a special broadcast encore of Blood & Treasure‘s Season 2 premiere (which debuted this past Sunday on its new home, Paramount+).
But now, it was announced on Tuesday afternoon, this Thursday’s Big Brother eviction episode will instead air on Sunday at 8 pm, as part of a two-hour installment of the summertime staple. TVLine can confirm that the eviction will not air live, as usual.
