They held the Power of Veto comp this morning. Remember -- Taylor is HOH and Turner/Brittany on the block. The Power of Veto winner will have the power to decide who goes to the Final Three.
Monte will have that choice -- he won the veto.
What's best for his game is a hard guess. I believe he will save Turner by voting out Brittany. I don't know if that indeed will be best for his game. Sitting next to Brittany should be a win for anyone right now. Hmm ...

If Monte uses the Veto on Turner, that would be kind of like Marcellas'ing himself. I can't believe he'd be that stupid... not when he has the only vote. Will he honor that F2 with Turner?
Monte: 2 HOH, 1 Veto
Turner: 3 HOH, 0 Veto
Taylor: 2 HOH, 0 Veto
Brittnay: 0 HOH, 3 Veto (1 was when she was Festi-Besti with Michael)
Hello and thank you Sharon, I was thinking the same thing if he doesn’t vote out Turner then he is a fool and I think would loose respect game play wise with jury members for not taking him out.
But Jon, Monte knows Taylor wants to keep Brittnay, so he'll keep Turner. At this point, they are all so close in comp wins, it might not matter who he evicts. Knowing Taylor's choice probably helps make his decision... along with the fact that Monte doesn't like Brit and finds her annoying.
Jury votes will probably come down to they think played the best, but they are all close in comp wins... and who gets the boot at F3. If Brittnay somehow stays, it may come down to "who the Jury likes" the best... and Brittnay is probably the least liked. If it comes down to comp wins and Monte is in F2, he's the most well-rounded with wins in both HOH and Veto.
Yes .you have to vote out Turner or settle for 2nd place . If Turner wins final Hoh. I have no doubt he takes Taylor to the end. Its 700k mistake not to vote out Turner..in my humble opinion

Forgot Monte or Turner vs Taylor... I think she'd lose also.

And don't get me wrong..I am ok with Turner winning..have mad respect for him after he stood up for Taylor about the bullying that was happening to her in the beginning.

I think Monte's logic is faulty. Yes theoretically Taylor wants to sit next to Brittany in F2. But so should Monte and Turner.
By booting Brittany Monte makes it harder for himself to win the final HOH. He has a one in three chance of getting there with Turner in the house. His chances are slightly better if he's competing against Taylor and Brittany instead of Taylor and Turner.
Okay, so they boot Brittany this week, would either of the guys pick the other rather than Taylor for F2? Surely Monte thinks/realizes that he can not only up his chance at getting the final HOH, but he can be almost guaranteed a win sitting next to Brittany. I think it's 50/50 if he's sitting next to Turner or Taylor. But hey, all that matters now is that Brittany is annoying so she has to go.
I hope Taylor wins, my second choice is Turner.
Yep, Brittnay is that annoying gnat that Monte wants evicted. Monty has wanted Brittnay out for the last 2 or 3 HOHs, and he does seem to have a one-track mind, so he'll evict the gnat. For this game and the kind of money that's on the line, it could end a costly error.
With that said, the last 3 standing are all deserving, so I would be happy with any one of them winning. No matter how it works out, it will be nice to see the F2 doesn't include someone that was dragged to the end.
From where we all sit - they should all want to keep Brittany in the game. As a student of the game, I believe Michael would reach that conclusion - but these 3 are all playing the game with more personal feelings than gameplay.
Should be interesting.
