Why she wears a hair roller ... |
Thanks to a commenter here on the blog I found the history/mystery behind Blue's silly bangs hair roller. It's a new Korean Gen Z thing as described in this article. I guess we did silly things at that age.
But that's probably not what you came here for. We had an extended We'll Be Right Back Nether Region blockage (ew!). Apparently there may have been problems with the signal or power with the adoptable animals feed. Then the volume increased (they really need to check that!) and we got the adoptable animals. When the feeds finally came back after HOURS ... Hisam is on the block in Jag's place. He thinks he will look like an absolute moron. He's been honest and open with them, they will see.
UPDATE: Whoa, they are talking about Security being called in. Oh my. Ah, not as exciting as it sounds. Bowie Jane and Izzy were talking about it. It sounds like they were just there as stand by in case of problems.
Not taking it well |
Matt's hat and sunglasses make a creepy face! |

Thanks for the update!
Cmon kerfuffle! It’ll make our friend Jackie happy! -cj
Yes!!!
There's several days for the vote to flip again. Cameron has a big mouth that just might end up getting him out instead.
Even if they did flip (again) and vote out Cam, I don't think Hisam would be inclined forgive and forget. He'd want vengeance and, this time, I doubt his sights would be quite so set on Matt!! lol
Cherry pie here I want to know why security was called in...anyone know?
YESSSSSSSSS! They did it! Thank you Jackie! Yup… Hisam’s not going to handle this well at all! But, there may not have been another chance to come along!
Thank you Jackie!!!
Cherry Pie - Apparently just for a stand by.
I know the have medical on standby all the time (friend's son had that job) so why, I wonder, do they not have security there all the time. They probably are there on the property all the time, just not on the BB set/area.
Thanks for the update. Will have to check to see how everyone is handling it!
Squeegee
Thanks Jackie for the 411 on that dang roller@@
I don't think they would be dumb enough to keep Hisam in at this point. But I am a little worried for the older side group. Hoping someone that's with them for sure can win hoh next week.
But Cheryl, if you think about it, there never seems to be a 'shortage of dumb' in BB. LMAO
I for one won't be sorry to see Hisam go. There have been a lot of insufferable HGs over the years, but he's insufferable with his own alliance members which is bizarre. And the way he talked to the HGs when he was HOH, it's like he was interrogating murder suspects. He was one question away from demanding their social security numbers and their net worths. He seems incapable of finesse or subtlety.
It would surely be ill advised for the HGs to not vote him out Thursday at this point. Glad he will be out before jury.
Lili, you just hit the nail on the head and it would be difficult to say it any better. It's sad. Hisam is convinced of his integrity, but he doesn't recognize the way he talks AT (not with) people is just awful.
I can't help wonder about the Seniors he deals with in real life. Does he talk over them [instead of listening] like he has done in the BB house? A good dose of introspection...
To me, doesn't really matter if you're an arrogant prick, as long as you're on my team and can win comps. We've seen this every year when they cast these cocky douchey types who go far for a reason. They align with the other douches and they win the comps for their alliances. I see wanting them out, but not when they're working for you and on your side 3 weeks into the game. Not a smart move. Other side would be dumb not to swoop him up and flip the vote like they tried to do with Riley.
~~~
The problem with Hisam is that NONE of the HGs like him. He's talked integrity while being condescending and pushy. He could have pretended to consider his alliance's ideas, but their thoughts/ideas were completely discarded. He didn't even allow their ideas to be voiced, leaving them angry and frustrated.
Top that off with his 3 comp wins (in a row) and it didn't take much to realize he'd most likely win the majority of comps. Which means he would be deciding the majority of evictions.
With that said, it's only Monday and the squirrels will get squirrely. LOL
The S. Korean hair roller trend has been around for a few years. Just as a little sidenote. https://www.nytimes.com/2021/11/21/style/korea-hair-curlers-gen-z.html?smid=nytcore-ios-share&referringSource=articleShare
I think Hisam is not a bad guy, I’m not defending his actions because at the end of the day he is responsible for what he says and does. I just think he needed someone from his alliance to pull him aside and go hey chill out some don’t be coming in so hot and you can be honest but you don’t have to go for the juggler honest that to me is always a bit too much. I feel you can be honest without hurting hurting someone’s feelings and again that house can make a sane person see unicorns literally before it’s over with lol I just think it’s to early, like him or not, to vote him out but that’s just my opinion lol
I agree Jon.The professors may have just bit the hand that feeds them.We shall see.
Agreed that was a number for them at the end of the day and he seemed loyal enough to keep him for a while. Would have kept the target off the other professors if u ask me
Thanks Jackie
