Bowie Jane reads her HOH letter. |
Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Vegemite Sandwiches:
- Okay, not sure if Bowie Jane did get any vegemite.
- Also, not sure who she will nominate.
- I honestly think by low-balling the tiebreaker, she thought she was throwing this comp ... like all the other comps I think she's thrown.
- I know who OTHERS are telling her she should target or not.
- But Bowie herself is a bit of a wild card.
- It's hard to tell who she is aligned with other than herself.
- Jag went off on one of his too-long schpiels about how the two sides of the house can target each other and they will be safe.
- He talked to her as if he, Matt and Bowie Jane are a thing.
- He said Felicia and Cirie will target mostly Cory, but also America, or Cam. He proposed a Blue target.
- Bowie Jane told Jag and Matt that Cirie never talks game with her.
- Matt commented she hasn't talked game with hardly anyone at all since Jared left. Gee, I wonder why?
- America and Cory also think they are working with Bowie Jane.
- And, we know that, after all -- Bowie Jane is Cameron's person (as he says).
- The feeds came back on late and the HOH room opened up even later.
- Nominations will be later today.
- Maybe we will know more then!

Is what Jag wants what Bowie Jane wants? |

And Bowie Jane keeps smiling. |

Everybody's target for another week. |

Does America have a game without Cory? |

I agree… Bowie Jane is a hard read and I really think she didn’t want to win HOH. It sounds like she might be thinking if Cirie is her target… she may still be able to not have to choose sides. Should be interesting! Thanks Jackie!!!
Who knows, she could be placating Cam (and everyone else) with all her 'yeh yeh' at their ideas. She may already know what she wants to do, and she has no loyalty or love for Cirie & Felicia. She was hurt and angry at the stunt they pulled on her and definitely hasn't forgotten about it!
Thanks Jackie...i think this week is gonna be intense cuz she's not one
to reveal herself
but I think Cirie
and Felicia would
be a good choice

I think Bowie Jane did want to win HOH, and did so strategically. Her “bid” was quite low because I think she expected Felicia (who was confused) to overwork the problem and probably go over the exact answer--which is exactly what Felicia did, in spades. At the last moment, Bowie Jane increased her bid a tad, I think to allow for the possibility that Felicia might give up trying to calculate the precise number and then post a very low-ball bid herself.
If you wanted to throw the comp, a better way to do so would be to post an answer about three times higher than you'd estimate the precise number.
Anon,
It isn't likely that Bowie actually wanted to win HOH. Even when she's alone, she's made remarks about not wanting to be HOH. She just got "lucky" and now has to make decisions. LOL
Sharon -- I think it has been the biggest part of Bowie Jane's strategy to lay low all along. That would account for her not wanting to win HOH earlier. That plan worked beautifully; it seems like no one has even come close to nominating her. But now that she is seen as working all sides, and numbers are shrinking, she may see walls beginning to close in. At this point, I think she figures that it's time to use the bargaining power of HOH to build some trust and establish some committed protection and allies.
Another thing: Had Bowie Jane really wanted to throw the HOH comp, she needed only to incorrectly answer just one of the seven (fairly difficult) questions that led to the tie-breaker. If she didn't want the win, why would she strive to get them all correct? I doubt that it was "luck."
