Celebrity Big Brother 2: Season Finale Blog Party

Well, here it is … the season finale! Due to them airing a clips filler show the last episode, much of tonight's live show will be taped. The HoH comp they'll be airing is almost a week old now! Grr. I'll be live blogging the major events as they air here on the East Coast -- refresh the page to get the latest update! As always, the party is in the comments … join in on the fun!

My personal favorites for the win aren't in the final five. I was a Kato/Tom fan. I also wish Jonathan had had a bit longer in the house. His Diary Room segments were entertaining. Most of all, I think I would have liked Anthony in the house. It's too bad he was out before the live feeds even got going!

Anyway, we're down to Dina, Tamar, Kandi, Lolo and Ricky for the start of the finale show. Here's the updated Lifeguard Glenn's blog pool standings:

Donna NY - Dina
Bizaro22 - Kandi
Cheryl in NC - Lolo
Jennifer - Ricky
Monty924 - Tamar
Joyce Johnson - Dina
Ayana - Kandi
CaelaXO - Lolo
Fred AKA Two Aces - Ricky
Janice - Tamar
Skyriver Blue - Lolo
Donna in FL - Kandi
Sharon N - Lolo
Alicia in Tx - Tamar
David - Dina
Renee Buck/Renee from NJ - Ricky

Okay, let's get this show wrapped up and set aside -- Survivor is coming! By the way, if you want in on the blog pool for Survivor Edge of Extinction -- sign up at THIS LINK. Please don't sign up on this CBB post.

Previously on ends and we continue with the zipline flying puzzle HoH comp taped last week. Not surprisingly, Dina didn't understand that they have a 20 second time limit to push the buttons or the puzzle boards demagnetize. She got disqualified first. Kandi is struggling.

RICKY wins HoH! Tamar and Lolo are excited. Kandi and Dina not so much.

Right into the Nominations Ceremony -- Ricky nominates Dina, then Kandi. He says "everyone knew the deal." Um. Okay. He tells us it's because they don't speak with him. Ricky tells Tamar he wants to be with her in the final two. He tells her if Kandi or Dina win veto, Lolo would have to go up. Tamar is fine with that!

PoV Comp -- they have to steal four artifacts from the BB Museum ducking around laser beams. Veto Heist. Quickest (and right artifacts stolen) chamster wins. Dina is setting off the alarms left and right. Each time they trip an alarm (laser beam), they have to stop and run to the security desk to reset. Tamar just screams.

Dina 17.34
Tamar 13.22
Kandi 9.53
Ricky 9.21
Lolo 9.08

LOLO wins the Power of Veto!

Lolo tells Ricky she doesn't want to leave Kandi in the game -- if she saves Dina, Tamar would go up and Kandi would go home. She also proposes it to Tamar. Of course, Tamar says no, not a good idea. Then Tamar tries to work it so that Dina is more of a threat than Kandi. Hmm. Ricky is just sitting there.

Veto Meeting -- Lolo does NOT use the veto. Dina and Kandi remain on the block.

With only Tamar and Lolo voting, Ricky knows he might have to be the tiebreaker.

Anthony "Mooch" is live on the show with a Julie interview. He gives her his take on each remaining chamster. He has something nice to say about all. Then she asked him Trump things. I don't do politics here, so … next! He will not be voting for the winner of the season but will stick around to greet everybody.

First live eviction time. To the living room --
Kandi - Been a pleasure, says nice things to and about all, says Dina would beat anyone because she's amazing, survived the block the most times.
Dina - Winggirl with Kandi. Like Kandi, says nice things to and about all. Admits she and Kandi were floaters.

The votes to evict:
Lolo - Kandi
Tamar - Dina

It's a tie. Ricky will have to decide! He evicts KANDI. He obviously knows she's a bigger threat for the win than Dina.

Time for the final HoH comp --
All compete. Judges for Celebrity Look-a-Like Junior. Show seven videos, junior will make three statements, Julie will ask which is false statement. A, B or C answers. Seven questions.

1. All right
2. Ricky and Tamar right.
3. Dina only one wrong
4. Dina only one wrong again.
5. Dina wrong again
6. Ricky only one right
7. Tie between Ricky and Tamar

To the tiebreaker … the kids are cute, BTW …
Tamar tried to vote real low for the win, but RICKY wins the final HoH!

He needs to decide who goes to the jury and who's in the final two with him.

Dina - Love you, learned so much from you.
Tamar - One of my favorite people in the house, wish you the best of luck
Lolo - Thank, grateful to know you, would like to stay

Ricky chooses to evict Dina, then Lolo. (He did that right in my opinion.)

In the Julie interview, Lolo seems bitter, won't be friends with Ricky after. Dina, as always, is upbeat.

Jury questioning time …
Tom - Ricky - Biggest game move? Not freaking out when on the block. Tamar - gunning for the two Kato and Tom to go as biggest threats.

Natalie - Biggest regret, Ricky -- not winning Slaughterhouse, could have kept us together. Tamar - getting too emotional. (Y'think?)

Ryan - Tamar, why you over Ricky? He is amazing, but I'm a huge fan of the show, limited amount of lying, played the best I could. Ricky - Played hard, tried to give good advice -- he's not answering the regret question at all, he's saying good stuff about himself.

Speeches --
Tamar -- Thanks, thanks to so many, it's turned into a spiritual journey, was meant to be, had lots of troubles but promised to never give up on herself and always be kind. Asking you all to be kind.

Ricky -- I apologize for getting all upset. Wanted to go on the show to show who he really is not what people think he is. Keep it real, keep it moving, keep it alive. Being a role model, someone who can bounce back.

Time to vote:
Jonathan first, voting for someone who had my back best they could
Ryan -- Good luck
Joey -- See what God has in store
Kato -- Congratulations
Natalie -- Difficult, love you both
Tom -- Tough choice for a lot of reasons, congratulations, the one who made me laugh the most
Kandi -- Glad one of us made it
Dina -- Love you both
Lolo -- Voting based on her heart

Julie talks to the jurors who watched the show. Tom loves the BB community online. Kato is glad not to be a sound bite. Ryan is glad to show himself, not the headline. Jonathan and Joey are grateful for new best buddies.

The votes --
Jonathan -- Tamar
Ryan -- Tamar
Joey -- Tamar
Kato -- Tamar
Natalie -- Tamar

TAMAR WINS CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER 2!

Into commercial, will then reveal last four votes and winner of AFP.

Tom, Kandi, Dina and Lolo all voted for Tamar -- it was unanimous.

America's Favorite is … TOM GREEN!

I feel this all went down as it should. Congratulations blog pool winners Monty924, Janice and Alicia in Tx -- bragging rights handed out!

Survivor: David vs. Goliath - Season Finale Blog Party!

As the show airs here on the East Coast, I'll be live-blogging the events -- refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area. Feel free to join in!

Tonight is the big three-hour season finale/reunion night! In my opinion, we're wrapping up one of the best seasons ever on the show. I like being blindsided -- shows need to blindside me more often!

Here's the blog pool news from Lifeguard Laurie herself (she rocks!)

Alison - Cher C, Jenna G, Renee
Angelina - Donna in FL, Margo, Vicki Volk
Davie - CherryPie, KelseyNY, Robin Allard
Kara - David, Karen in CA, Sharon N
Mike - Ed in Ohio, meb, Tammy
Nick - Brian, Jennasmom, Paula Bell, Silk

Jury:
Elizabeth

John
Dan
Alec
Carl
Gabby
Christian

Survivor fans ready? Six are left. Who will be the sole Survivor tonight?

Why am I not surprised that Christian is wearing a bowtie?

Davie is searching for an idol. Wait, they're all looking, it seems.

Angelina found a clue to the idol. Now she just has to get to the idol -- easier said than done. She has to haul a ladder and climb for it. D'oh! She lost her clue when she went to check to see if the area is clear. Scared that someone else will find the clue, she decides to climb for it. Now she's stuck. She gets down and runs into others. She cries to them and tells them she fell from a tree. She vows to us that she will return for "her" idol.

Immunity Challenge time -- over obstacles, toss ball to get puzzle pieces, puzzle steps to make staircase, 63 piece puzzle. Rewaed is spaghetti, garlic bread and dessert.

NICK wins Immunity!

He invites Angelina, saying she'll eat the vegetarian stuff. For a second, Davie tells him not to choose him as he went on the family visit. Nick chooses Mike to join him. Alison is the person left behind every time and she cries to us.

The feast is near where Angelina lost her idol clue. It's all she can think of. At camp, Davie is sure that Nick is on his side. Alison thinks so, too. Nick tells us that he wants Davie to stay.

Whoops! Angelina is telling Mike and Nick about the clue because she needs help. Mike finds the clue and … she gets the idol!

Alison tries to work with Angelina. Alison says Davie has to go. Angelina tells her that she's (Alison) going. Mike doesn't want Alison gone -- he's pushing for Davie to be the target. Kara is on board with the Davie ouster. Mike tries to work on Angelina to target Davie.

To the Tribal Council -- Jeff starts with asking about the Immunity Challenge. Alison tells him that only two names were brought up for voting out -- her and Davie. Davie says he isn't comfortable. Nick says he wants people to be on the same page as him. Mike says they need to think of what will make you go further.

The tally:
Davie, Alison, Alison, Davie, Davie, Davie

Rats. I liked the dude! But, then again, I don't mind Alison. Davie tells them the person who orchestrated this gets his vote for a million dollars (unless someone makes a bigger move).

Jeff talks to him at the finale. Davie says more black kids need to watch the show. Jeff brings up that Davie wasn't supposed to be on the show but was called in last minute to replace someone who dropped out.

Back to the island … Nick is ticked! He's so upset they didn't back him up with keeping Davie. Angelina tells him it was all Mike. Now the others are all talking about how badly Nick is handling it.

Right to Immunity --
Perch on a pole in the ocean, fill bucket, pour water from leaking bucket to raise key, get key, swim to shore, unlock and get puzzle pieces, solve puzzle.

Alison gets her key first. Then Nick. Then Kara, then Mike. Finally Angelina.

NICK wins Immunity again!

He tells us revenge will be sweet.

Angelina wants to target Alison. (Well, duh.) She tells Nick and Mike that she wants to have two vote for her (so she can use her idol to save herself and be queen). Mike isn't keen on the idea. Tonight is the only vote she can use the idol so she wants to show off with it. Mike tells Kara that Angelina has an idol. Jara tells us that she thinks Mike is the bigger threat and she thinks of flipping the script and get Nick involved. Alison talks to Nick. He's considering it. Huh? Now Angelina is finding a fake idol in front of Alison? Girl is whack.

Tribal time. Jeff mentions that Nick was blindsided and they talk about that. Heh. Alison says Mike is a threat and he plays dumb.

Mike votes Alison.

To the tally --
Wait!
Angelina makes a show of playing the fake idol.
Then she plays the real idol.

The tally:
Mike, Alison, Alison, Alison.

Well, they finally got her.

Immunity Challenge has them repeatedly dropping and retrieving a ball in a maze doohickey, one arm only. Additional balls will be added and direction will switch.

Angelina is out first. Mike is out. Kara out.

NICK wins the final Immunity Challenge!

He will choose one to take with him and the other two have to compete in a fire challenge to join the final three.

So the three others all work on Nick to take them. Nick tells them that he's more likely to win against Angelina, so he's taking her. Mike and Kara will do the fire challenge. I personally think he made the right decision although I think Mike would be the biggest threat against him.

Final Tribal Council --
Nick announces that he's taking Angelina (for the same reason he told the others before).

Mike and Kara are going to make fire. MIKE wins! He will be in the final three with Nick and Angelina!

The three feast and each tells us how they feel and why they should win. I'm still rolling my eyes at Angelina's delusions.

Off to Tribal with the jury questioning --

Outwit first:
Elizabeth - We're undecided. Christian wants them to each tell outwitted move.

Nick - Information and timing, alliances (named), build personal connections, John says the finish is important. What did he do after John? Reconnected with other allies.
Angelina - Fallout with Elizabeth, reputation in dumps, picked self up, adaptable social game. Davie brings up the rice bragging.
Mike - Wanted final two deals with people. Wanted threats that were willing to work with him rather than otherwise. Alison brings up his sarcasm. He feels bad. He felt like the introverted writer kid and outcast. Influenced the game after nine people.
Nick brings up the fact his game was pretty much the same but he had to rely on himself. Gabby tells Angelina that women are treated differently in the game and gives her kudos. Kara gives them all kudos.

Outplay:
Dan tells Mike that the first time he made fire was last night. Mike says he tried and didn't do horribly. Davie wants Angelina and Nick to reverse tribes and tell. Angelina tells about her idol search faux pas. Out of comfort zone. Alison brings up the fake idol to embarrass her. She denies that's why. And her theatrics … and keep Mike safe.
Nick says he has some Goliath traits, tells of winning immunities, people skills.

Outlast:
Angelina -- Realized why she was a Goliath in the beginning. But she ended up feeling beaten down, damaged goods, rise and pick herself up. Most battle-tested player in the three.
Nick -- Swapped to tribes with few Davids, only David at the end. Has always fought his way out things, mother died of overdose, he fights to save others who have drug problems, had to do everything to get to this point, was underdog.
Mike -- Never felt real nervous. He wanted to PLAY the game. What does he stand for? What does coming into the show mean for him? Not a saint, feel like it's a worthy endeavor to win the game.

Christian voted for Mike. John voted for Nick.

The tally for the winner:
Nick, Mike, Mike, Mike, Nick, Nick, Nick, Nick, Nick.

Yep! Although I'm a Mike White fan, I think the right person -- Nick -- won

And, as I predicted in comments -- no one voted for Angelina.

Congratulation blog pool winners -- Brian, Jennasmom, Paula Bell, Silk

Next season -- Four returning players included Joe and Aubry.

Survivor: Edge of Extinction.

Sounds interesting.

Big Brother 20: Season Finale Blog Party

Well, this is it. It's down to JC, Kaycee and Tyler. While live feeders know the results of the first two parts of the three part final HoH, they haven't aired yet on the television show. So, I ask that, until they air, please don't post spoilers in the comments!

As the show airs here, I'll be live-blogging it -- refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area. Please feel free to join in on the discussion!

We're down to the Final Four and probably not ones we thought would be there had we been asked in the beginning of the season!

What's a party without a pool? Here's where we stand going into tonight's show:

Kaycee Clark - Sharon N, Skyriverblue, Indiana Jane, Jenna G
Tyler Crispen - SueGee, Glenn Allen, Jessica Underwood-James, JennasMom
JC Monduix - Brenda, Delee, T-Town Chick, Willie J

Jury:
Bayleigh Dayton
Angie Rockstar Lantry
Faysal Fessy Shafaat
Scottie Salton
Haleigh Broucher
Brett Robinson
Sam Bledsoe
Angela Rummons

Hamster watchers ready?

Previously on ... Tyler promised to throw Kaycee the first part of the HoH and then into all the other stuff that made this such a great season!

Julie Chen-Moonves is with us, of course.

But first ... it's to Part One of the final HoH comp. JC thinks he has a final two with Tyler. Tyler and Kaycee have a plan ... she will win this part, he will win the next. Goop is squirted at them in their flying jet-packs. They're tilted horizontally and vertically. Uh-oh. JC is down! Kaycee is telling Tyler to drop. He tells us he would prefer to have his fate in his own hands. Kaycee goes down. Tyler wins the first part of the HoH!

Kaycee takes the loss well and wants to concentrate on winning the second part against JC.

Part Two -- A monument of Mount Evicted. Get a clue, one at a time climb up and place the faces, laser, ring bell. They have to do three rounds. Kaycee is having trouble remembering that Sam was evicted by a unanimous vote.

Kaycee - 18.55
JC - 19.34

Kaycee wins Part Two! She will face off with Tyler in Part Three.

The Jury Roundtable with Dr. Will is next after the commercials.

They discuss the final three. Angela hasn't arrived yet. They think either JC or Angela. We know it's the latter. The jurors are thrilled about JC winning HoH. Angela tells them that Kaycee and Tyler had a final two deal from the first day. Sam piped up that she and Tyler had one on day three. Angela pushes for Tyler over Kaycee winning because she (Kaycee) rode on Tyler's coattails. Rockstar thinks JC was running things. Bayleigh doesn't think JC was the best player -- she thinks Tyler played the best game. Haleigh and Scottie also think that.

Oh my. It looks like we might not have a bitter jury? Shocker! We'll just have to wait and see!

Time for part three of the HoH comp!

"Jury Oddcasts" videos of previous hamsters, then quizzed, eight videos.

1. Both get a point
2. Both get a point
3. Both get a point
4. Both get a point
5. Both get a point
6. Both get a point
7. Both got it wrong
8. Both got it wrong

To a tie-breaker --
KAYCEE wins the Final HoH!

She must choose to evict either Tyler or JC.

JC - Love you, not blindsliding me, appreciate it, you have a deal with Tyler, you have more risk taking Tyler.
Tyler - Love both of you, I know JC you feel heartbroken, Day One Coast to Coast alliance.

(They obviously told JC before the show.)

Kaycee evicts JC.

Kaycee and Tyler hug so much that they miss JC's photo going gray.

JC tells Julie that he was loyal to Tyler all along.

And ... we're into the jury questions for the final two --
Three questions for each finalist.

Haleigh - Tyler - Aside from winning comps, strategic moves. He talks of creating a following with Level 6, Sam and JC. Won the second power app, didn't tell anyone.

Brett - Kaycee - Aside from comp wins, what moves did you make. Kaycee -- my social game priority, create relationships.

Bayleigh - Tyler - Many of us sour taste from you on eviction. Tyler - apologizes to her. Nothing personal, needed people to think I had an enemy.

Angela - Kaycee - You won vetoes and didn't use them - What else? Relationships.

Sam - Tyler - Why should you win over Kaycee? Good relationships, knew what was going to happen every week, made plans, superfan.

Scottie - Kaycee - Why should you win over Tyler? Watched always, wanted to make relationships with everyone.

Final speeches --
Kaycee - Dream come true. Social game to advantage. Level 6 plus JC and Coast to Coast. Loyal game, never made promises, was herself. Little Peanut is totally nuts about this game.
Tyler - Knew big target, keeping superfandom secret, act confused, got power app, got Sam's friendship, made big moves, explained Brett biggest move. :ove you all.

They start the voting.
Bayleigh
Rockstar - You're both winners
Fessy
Scottie - Loyalty and respect
Haleigh - Decision after speeches
Brett - Proud Level 6
Sam - Proud of both and love both
Angela - Love you
JC - Quality over quantity

The pre-jury hamsters join the stage. Julie confirms that Angela and Tyler professed their love for each other. Tyler apologizes for not telling her about his final two with Kaycee. Both are looking forward to seeing each other. Fessy and Haleigh -- they say it's the real deal. Swaggy and Bayleigh -- both say they're still interested, Swaggy spent time with her family. Oh gosh, he gets on his knees and proposes. @@ She says yes. @@

The votes from the jury --
JC - Tyler
Angela - Tyler
Sam - Kaycee
Brett - Tyler
Haleigh - Tyler
Scottie - Kaycee
Fessy - Kaycee
Rockstar - Kaycee
Bayleigh - Kaycee

Kaycee wins BB20! Although I would have personally preferred a Tyler win, Kaycee played an excellent game, too. Congratulations to her! (And I note that outside of Haleigh, there did seem to be the voting block Scottie mentioned in his second shot at the house.)

AFP -
Haleigh, Brett and Tyler top three.

Tyler wins America's Favorite Houseguest! He says he thought everyone would hate him.

Great season!

Ross and Marissa will be doing the backyard interviews on Facebook live. I'm going to leave commenting on this post open for anyone who wants to discuss the interviews. However, after three hours of constant watching and typing, I'm done in. I'll be watching but not reporting.

Thank you all for this summer of fun and a special thank you to those who donated to the blog this summer!

Survivor: Ghost Island - Season Finale and Reunion Show Blog Party

I will try my best to post the major events of the show as it airs here on the East Coast. I'm still having some back issues, so please bear with me. Refresh the page to get the latest! The real "party" is in the comments -- I hope to see you there.

I probably won't be updating this much once the reunion show starts. But I'll still be around!

Lifeguard Laurie has once again kept up with updating the pool all season (yay, Laurie!) and here's where we stand going into tonight's finale ...

POOL
Domenick Abbate - Donna in Alabama, Janice
Donathan Hurley - Becky, Terry is a Texan!
Angela Perkins - monty924, Karen JC
Laurel Johnson - PDX Granny, Donna in FL
Sebastion Noel - Indiana Jane, Shannon, Jackie
Wendell Holland - Skyriverblue, Jennasmom

JURY
Chris Noble
Libby Vincek
Desiree Afuye
Jenna Bowman
Michael Yerger
Chelsea Townsend
Kellyn Bechtold

Six are left. Who will be the sole Survivor tonight?

They open the show in Los Angeles with a hyped-up Jeff Probst pointing out the eliminated before jury, the jury as it stands right now and the six remaining on the show. Into an expanded look at each remaining castaway.

Returning from Tribal, both Wendell and Dom are a bit in shock over Donathan's betrayal during the evening. Sebastian is also tired of being in Wendell and Dom's shadow. Meanwhile, Wendell and Dom seem to be thinking that Sebastian is the next to go. Hmm.

It's right to an Immunity Challenge -- a giant skull maze collecting puzzle pieces and then solving the puzzle. Reward is also offered -- a steak dinner with all the trimmings.

Sebastian was the leader through the maze with Donathan not finding his bags of puzzle pieces. But ... Wendell beat out Sebastian with the puzzle.

Wendell wins his first official Immunity win! He gets to pick one person to go with him ... chooses Sebastian. Another person ... he chooses Angela. When asked about his choices, Laurel is vocal about him being strategical. She tells us she's mad that he chose her two biggest enemies and now her gloves are off.

Tonight is the last night Sebastian can use his Ghost Island extra vote advantage. He thinks he'd like to use it for a big move although his reward mates seem to be thinking Donathan.

Dom sees how upset Laurel is over Wendell's chosen reward people. He wants to calm her down. Sebastian tries to talk Donathan and Angela into making a move against Dom, even if it only brings out his idol.

Oh, geez. Angela tells Dom that Sebastian has an extra vote and he's gunning for him. Oy! Now Dom definitely wants Sebastian out. Now Dom is worried. Donathan tries to convince Laurel to vote Dom with him.

Time for the first Tribal Council of the night! Jeff asks his Probsting questions. Sebastian tells Jeff that Donathan might be the target. Dom questions Donathan about whether he's targeting him or not. Sebastian admits to the extra vote which Dom brought up. Dom shows his real and fake idol. He lies and tells them the fake one now has power. Donathan is actually quite calm. Uh-oh, they're calling each other bro but it ain't no bromance.

Dom gives Jeff the fake idol, pretending it's power, before the vote. Will they buy the lie?

The tally ... Dom gets up. He reads about his idol being used to fool another. Any votes for him count.

Dom, Donathan, Sebastian, Sebastian, Sebastian.

My pool boy is voted out. He tells us he didn't use his extra vote and it might have been a million dollar mistake.

In CA, Jeff introduces Erik and James and their bad decisions.

Whoa! We're right to the second Immunity Challenge! Swim to platform, climb up, slide down, obstacles, puzzle pieces, solve puzzle. This time Wendell is in the lead with Laurel on his tail and it's Angela lagging.

WENDELL WINS IMMUNITY AGAIN!

Will this drive problems between the two top dogs? Hmm.

When Dom asks him, Donathan says he would take him to the final three. Dom thinks that Laurel is a bigger threat because she's won challenges. Laurel talks to Wendell and Dom. She tells them she wants Donathan on the jury for a vote for her and she goes with them -- Wendell and Dom -- and the vote gets split. Dom doesn't trust her. He talks to Wendell and they think Laurel might be the biggest threat. Wendell is still telling us he'd like to make a big move. Hmm.

Tribal Council time yet again. Jeff asks about the pressure back at camp due to last night. They talk about not taking a person along who stands a chance to win the last Immunity Challenge.

The tally ... Dom plays his real idol (it's the last chance to play it) --

Wendell gets up and plays his idol for LAUREL. She's safe!

Laurel, Donathan, Donathan, Donathan ... he's out!

Jeff talks to Donathan on stage and tells him that singer Sia was so impressed with how Donathan is so supporting of his family that she's giving him $10,000. That's great! He got a lot further in the show than I thought he would and he made some really stupid moves (and talks). But I do feel the kid has a good heart. That money will really help him!

Final Immunity -- standing on a wobbly platform holding a stack of disks and balls with a pole. Final one up with whole stack will choose someone to go with them to the finals and let the other two battle it out. Wendell is once again in the lead and then loses his whole stack. Angela in the lead now. She loses her stack.

DOMENICK wins Immunity!

All four will go to Ghost Island where the three will plead their case for Dom to give them safety. They also should practice their fire-making skills. Wendell plans to do the latter. Jeff gave Dom an envelope not to open until he's alone on Ghost Island.

Dom tells us that he can't give Wendell a free ride. He wants to pick the best of the other two to make fire in the challenge with Wendell. She doesn't even practice making fire. That loses respect from Dom. Angela tries to convince Dom that taking Laurel to the final will be dangerous.

He goes off to read his message. One decision. About wrong decisions made in other seasons. Three voting urns. Colby choosing Tina and losing. Woo chose Tony. Culpepper and Sarah. He thinks about giving Angela his necklace and he himself going against Wendell in the fire-making challenge. He chose the Woo/Tony urn.

Final Tribal Council time.

Dom takes Laurel with him to the final three. It's Angela and Wendell to make fire. They switch places because Wendell is scared to be orange.

WENDELL wins the fire-making challenge! The final three are Wendell, Laurel and Domenick.

The Jury Questioning Tribal is ON.

Social part of the game --
Kellyn - Plan coming in with alliances and relationships. Laurel - played athletic at first and ended up social. She defends herself when Michael accuses her of riding with the boys. He thinks Dom played the best social game. Hmm. Wendell thinks his own conversations were more real. Desiree questions Wendell about that. Wendell brings up his damage control between Chris and Dom. Chriis wants to know who the real mastermind is of the three. Wendell thinks he was because he was the winning five and pulled in Laurel. Donathan speaks up for Dom. Dom tells why HE was the mastermind for his own game. (Master of his domain?) Laurel says she thinks she approached the two guys. Chris questions why the two didn't go after each other. Dom says he tried at the end. Wendell tried to get along with all.

Outplay part --
Laurel won a challenge and gave a good run at others. She felt she didn't NEED to win challenges to stay in the game. Wendell talks camp life and all he built. Chris asks him about idols. He mentions protecting Laurel and loyalty. Dom talks about the night of the Sebastian vote. Sebastian didn't like how things went down. Hmm ... seems like Dom has some friction from the jury people about his "brutal" move. Michael thinks the move was brilliant.

Outlast part --
Laurel up first. She thinks taking out the two early would have resulted her being gone and how her loyalty made Wendell save her. Dom mentions how a lot of his moves hurt people. Vote with your heart and who played the best game. He's proud of his game. Wendell wanted to build things, kind of athletic, smart and social. Tried to play a clean game. Thought things through and made strategic moves.

They show two votes for Dom, two for Wendell as they write them.

The tally right there ...

Dom, Wendell, Dom, Wendell, Dom, Wendell, Dom, Wendell, Dom, Wendell.

First time ever tie for the win.

Laurel becomes the final member of the jury and casts the deciding vote. That vote will be read in Los Angeles.

And ... WENDELL WINS SURVIVOR: GHOST ISLAND!

New Survivor this fall -- David vs. Goliath. Kind of a superhero vs. underdogs season. Hmm.

Celebrity Big Brother: Season Finale Blog Party

As the show airs here on the East Coast, I'll be updating and live-blogging away the best I can. Refresh the post to get the latest news!  As always, the real party is in the comments area -- join on in!

ALERT! ALERT! - Survivor: Ghost Island starts up next Wednesday! The blog pool is open but you need to sign up for it ONLY ON THIS LINKED POST. Requests not on that post WILL be missed. And, I don't think y'all know how annoying it is that every season people regularly in the pools want in after the deadline. If you want in on the blog pool, go to the post and sign up before the deadline. Please! The deadline is Tuesday.

Of course, we start out with a recap. Julie, thankfully, must have thrown out that awful boxy red dress she wore for one live show. Dressed in black, she's looking good!

We're to the continuation of the HoH comp they showed starting last night. Ross is determined to win despite the fact that it's a rather athletic comp -- balancing on suspended in the air skis that wiggle and jiggle and tickler ...er, ahem.

Not surprisingly, Marissa is out first. Then Ari is down.  Ross tells Mark he's safe, won't nominate, won't backdoor. Mark doesn't really buy it. About the fourth time the deal was offered, Mark went down. Deal is on and Omarosa is ticked that she doesn't know the details.

Ross tells us he wants to be next to Mark in the final two because he can beat him. Yes, I think so.  He tells Ari that they need Omarosa out and that he will have to nominate her (Ari). He admits to making a deal with Mark. He lies to her and tells her, while alone together, that he wants a final two with her.

So, Ross does indeed have final twos with three of the four others remaining in the house. That kind of thing can work for him or bite him in the butt.

Nominations time - He nominates Ari and Omarosa. Omarosa put him up twice. Ari -- running out of people to nominate.

Final Veto Comp -- It's a take on their usual Comic Book comp with them in a harness on a line comparing sensational chamster news stories and putting day dates on them. Marissa goes, then Mark. Then Ross followed by Ari. (Hmm ... this is NOT the order that they randomly chose on the live feeds yesterday!) Omarasa was last ... at least in this edited show.

Marissa are the only ones who got all right. Omarosa did the worst.
Marissa 12.31, Ross less than half her time.

ROSS WINS THE POV!

In the veto meeting, Ross lets the nominees talk.
Ari - Won't campaign against Omarosa
Omarosa - Goes all sappy on Ari and is Nice Omarosa, loves Ari.
@@
Ross does NOT use the veto.

Live eviction time!
Ari - Loves all. Hopes the world knows her better now. Played a fair game, loves Omarosa and proud of her. But she wants to keep playing.
Omarosa - Glory to God and on and on. Prayer power. Gives a political kind of statement about uniting under God.

Votes to evict:
Marissa - Omarosa
Mark - Omarosa

Oh my. I had figured they'd let Ross evict her on the tiebreaker. Omarosa is OUT. She is Nice Omarosa, even tells Ross he's done an amazing job. I'm not going to blow by blow the talk with Julie, but it's definitely Nice Omarosa indeed.

Final HoH comp. All compete. Cash it Out. Social media battles with former chamsters, must decide which of the six former is posting an incorrect stateent. Six battles.

1. Only Marissa gets a point.
2. Everyone gets a point.
3. Everyone gets a point.
4. Everyone gets a point.
5. Everyone gets a point.
6. Ross, Mark get a point.

Tiebreaker -- Ross, Mark and Marissa
MARISSA IS THE FINAL HOH!
She will evict TWO housemates, thus choosing who is in the final two with her.

I predict Ross. How about you?

They all can plea their cases.
Mark - Nice words about CBS, all are amazing, a joy and a pleasure.
Ari - You are amazing, do what's best for you.
Ross - Friend for life, no matter what, I love you.

Marissa evicts ... wouldn't be standing here if not for Ross, evicts ... Mark and Ari. Both were very upbeat with Julie and neither expected Marissa to choose anyone but Ross. Lifelong friends and all.

Actually, the evictions this season have been very refreshing compared with regular hamsters. Perhaps age had almost as much to do with that as did the "celebrity" status.

Jury comes in. Chuck, Keshia, Shannon, Metta, Brandi, James. The three evicted tonight join them. They will get to question oss and Marissa.

Brandi - What do you two regret the most about how you played. Marissa - had to make some moves to protect Ross and my game. Ross - Naive on day two, thinking I could keep my word, must pivot.

James - Was it important to stay true to your word or do what you have to do. Ross - Have to be able to pivot, as power shifts must change, choose a ride or die, but remain true to your character. Marissa - Genuinely meant what I said at the time. I adore and love you, James.

Shannon - Marissa: Why should you win over Ross? Marissa - Came up with great ideas, picked the right person. (She goes on but isn't making much sense to me.) Ross - Loves the show, relationships with people and winning when your but is on the line. Playing with compassion and kindness.

Omarosa - How did strategy change and what is the biggest lie? Marissa - Strategy didn't change, lie to Chuck about him being the target. Ross - Didn't change strategy, didn't tell the WHOLE truth at times, but no real lies.

Speeches:
Marissa - Didn't plan speech. True to Ross and their friendship. Even if I lose, I win.
Ross - Love the game, watched ALL seasons. played hard. Won comps. I proved I am a champion. Proud to be with all of you.

Put in the key of the person you think should win.
Chuck first - voting for the one who played the straightest game.
Keshia - Most up front
Shannon - Vote more honest with me
Metta - Close eyes and picks
Brandi - Voting shadiest person in the house
James - Speeches changed how I will vote
Omarosa - Voting for the person I love so much and wasn't gunning for me
Ari - Most honest game all season
Mark - Love you both, one person from day one.

Votes are locked and Julie asks the jury questions. Shannon says Ross and Marissa stabbed her in the back. Remember, the jury was not sequestered so they've seen the show and possibly the live feeds. Oh, they show Brandi's goodbye to James. Heehee!

Julie is pulling the keys:
Mark - Ross
Ari - Marissa
Omarosa - Marissa
James - Marissa
Brandi - Ross
Metta - Ross
Shannon - Marissa
Keshia - Marissa

Bummer in my mind. MARISSA WINS. Chuck also voted Marissa.

Favorite Houseguests not in order -
Shannon, James, Ross

ROSS wins that at least!

I voted Metta for that because he was entertaining in the house. I thought of voting Ross, but thought he'd likely win the season.

Thanks to the people who donated to help me out with the time and effort on the coverage of the season!

See you Wednesday for Survivor: Ghost Island
