BB19: Live Feeds into Sunday, Power of Veto - Sept. 2-3

Dead Man walking?

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of So Fascinating I Fell Asleep:
  • I worked late yesterday. I napped before the veto comp feeds block opened the house up to us again.
  • Then I scouted out the day's feeds.
  • I gathered some screen shots and noticed it was 4am.
  • I went back to sleep.
  • Oops. Now it's very late!
  • My real life work has been incredibly stressful and hectic as of late and I was quite ill about a week ago. I think it's all catching up to me.
  • Enough about me.
  • Onto the happenings ...
  • Before the veto comp, it was all the figuring out scenarios with the what ifs -- what if Jason wins, what if Kevin wins (haha), what if Raven wins.
  • Everyone played for the veto except for Josh.
  • When the feeds returned, all of the guys (including Josh) had colorful suspenders and bowties, with short-shorts.
  • Kevin changed clothes almost immediately.
  • Only Jason left his bowtie on for a while.
  • Paul eventually took off his shirt but left the suspenders on and reminded me of Leather Boy from the old Craig Ferguson shows.
  • As for the women -- Raven looked a heck of a lot better in her outfit than in the horrible nasty orange rag from Matt. Christmas was okay in her duds. Alex, like she is more often than not, had her chest hanging out all over the place. Sure, she can flaunt her chest ... but does she have to?
  • Maybe I'm just a bit prudish. But low-cut versus all but exposed just ain't the same thing!
  • Oh. Paul won the veto.
  • He's wracking up the veto wins.
  • And, I do suspect that if he weren't throwing so many HoH comps, he could be winning them, too.
  • He could be the ultimate BB game player except for one thing ...
  • ... he's so ruthless in his scheming and manipulating people that he's brought an overall state of cruelty to the game unlike we've ever seen before.
  • And, mind you, I've watched and covered BB since the first season. I've seen much cruelty over the years.
  • I've actually liked some of the hamsters who were known for some cruelty. I liked Evel Dick. But I don't think he was AS cruel in the long run as Paul. Perhaps he was just more open about it. He didn't pretend to be oh-so-caring to those he disliked or wanted out. He didn't manipulate others into doing his cruelty. For example, Jen knew Dick didn't care for her. He made the dislike blatant. But Paul acts like he's a friend and confidant, then uses other people for the meanness. Now, the other people used are almost as much to blame as is Paul. Why aren't they playing their own game?
  • Of course, with Paul winning veto, even if Christmas had a thought of her own in her head about backdooring him (which doesn't seem likely anyway), she can't do it.
  • The biggest component of the after veto talks was Jason or Alex, the pros and cons of each.
  • It sounds like Paul indeed will not be using the veto. They all seem to think that both Alex and Jason could be much more dangerous as they can win comps.
  • So, it looks like the only player who hasn't fallen into the spider's web (Kevin) will be safe for at least this week.
  • They've written him off as a possible comp winner even though Raven keeps harping on how much Kevin knows about the show and he's playing dumb.
  • If Paul doesn't use the veto, he's going to have to shift the blame for not using it to someone else.
  • He doesn't want to alienate jury votes.
  • In other news, the hamsters had a preview of the new CBS show Me, Myself and I along with a guest appearance by its star.
  • Now they're all starstruck.
  • While Kevin sat around trying to figure out the premiere date versus the finale of BB, others went on about how nice the guest was compared to how Derrick treated them.
  • Ahem. Bobby Moynihan is touting his new show. Derrick is a BB person. One needs to put on a positive front. The other sees the poison of this season on BB.
  • In scuttlebutt that might not change anything -- Josh (of all people) is totally onto Paul. He's trying to convince Christmas but she isn't hearing any of it.
  • Paul is still working his anti-Kevin agenda. But he's also talking a lot with Alex -- telling her she's going to be safe no matter what.
  • Hmm.

BB19: Live Feeds Friday into Saturday, Nominations - Sept. 1-2

Hey, gals! Look! Eligible bachelors!

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Conspiracy Theories:
  • No, I didn't post last night. I meant to. Really. But a nap on the couch turned into a night's rest.
  • The nominations went down as I said they would.
  • Alex and Jason are nominated by Christmas.
  • Like Matt and Raven before them, they've been told it's a backdoor Kevin plan.
  • Hmm.
  • The anti-Kevin talk throughout all of the others was prevalent. He smells. He picks his butt. He's annoying. And on and on.
  • The Tree of Temptation lit up and, once again, no one took an apple. This was its third and final appearance. Only the first showing had Mark taking the chance. I think it can officially be deemed a flop.
  • Christmas's real target is Jason.
  • Not Kevin.
  • She thinks Alex might even be a bit relieved if Jason goes -- she (Alex) won't have to carry the weight for Jason's actions.
  • Of course, those actions mainly consist of being friends with Kevin.
  • Both Alex and Jason seem to truly believe they're just pawns.
  • Christmas told Raven that one or the other (Alex or Jason) will go this week.
  • Poor Raven is pining. Her life is totally Mattless.
  • Paul and Christmas are still trying to carry the ruse that they aren't working together.
  • Meanwhile, Paul is working with Raven, mostly talking about Alex and Jason.
  • She's totally buying what he's selling.
  • Christmas is also taking Raven a bit under her wing.
  • She's totally buying what Christmas is selling, too.
  • Little does Raven know that the pecking order has her out at number five.
  • It's Alex and Jason (whichever order can be done), then Raven ... leaving a final four of Christmas, Paul, Josh and Kevin.
  • That's what they want.
  • They have Kevin in there because they're sure he'll lose the comps at the end.
  • In my wildest dreams, I have Kevin going on a winning streak and sweeping it all in the end.
  • Alas, I think they just might be right. Kevin, albeit very entertaining and one of the few interesting things about this season, does seem to totally suck at comps.
  • But Kevin isn't totally unobservant! After the nominations revealed Alex and Jason, Kevin tried to tell Jason that one of them would probably go. He (Kevin) is sure they're not just putting up two pawns -- one is a target.
  • Now Jason is a bit worried.
  • I'm thinking he's going to treat the veto as life or death.
  • Now, if he (or Alex) wins it ... it will likely be Kevin put on the block.
  • Will they keep with the idea that either Jason or Alex have to go this week? Or will Kevin be in real danger?
  • Hmm.
  • Paul tries to allay Jason's fears by saying he thinks that he (Paul) is going to get backdoored.
  • Due to his "not working with" Christmas, he thinks that might be a plausible thought to placate Jason.
  • Hmm.
  • Alex, on the other hand, is a bit cocky and doesn't seem to be worried at all.
  • Little does she know, but others have noticed how untouchable Alex thinks she is.
  • She just might be touchable if Jason works to save himself.
  • Paul and Christmas are getting a bit ahead of themselves thinking the noms will remain the same. The plan is that Christmas will take the heat if it's a tiebreaker and vote out Jason. Then Paul will take Alex under his wing because Christmas wants him out -- he'll convince Alex to throw the HoH to him.
  • Oh my.
  • Kevin apparently tried to eat a minute before midnight and got called to the Diary Room because of it.
  • He then feasted down. Two weeks of being a Have Not have done him in.
  • Is this season almost over?

BB19: Live Feeds into Friday - September 1

Well, well, well ...

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Peer Pressure:
  • If you read my late night bulletin, you know Christmas is the new HoH.
  • Paul got them to all throw the comp to her.
  • Now, of course, we know he's safe with her in HoH.
  • But how can everyone be so complacent that they're not playing their own games?
  • Kevin was reluctant to throw it. But then Paul told him that if he didn't, Paul himself would win and put Kevin on the block.
  • If Kevin goes on the block, he could go home.
  • I don't believe that Kevin is the target of Christmas/Paul/Josh this week.
  • Raven talked about how great Matt is and how he was going to kick Cody's butt in jury for what Cody said about her.
  • @@
  • I can imagine Matt shrieking in a higher and higher voice until the windows break in the house.
  • Heh.
  • Paul reassured Kevin that Christmas will not be nominating him either in nominations or as a renom (backdoor).
  • He wants Kevin to keep quiet and not draw suspicion.
  • Christmas also told Kevin he can trust her.
  • Gee, I trust her!
  • Well, not really. But Kevin isn't the target this week. They want to get out people who can win comps. And, sorry to say as I like him so much ... Kevin, although he threw this comp, just hasn't shown he can win comps.
  • But that's a good thing ... this week, anyway.
  • Kevin pledged his loyalty to Christmas.
  • Why am I reminded of Kevin, early in the season, quoting the lyrics to 'Sympathy for the Devil' to Josh?
  • Now, that, of course, would be Paul.
  • "Pleased to meet you, hope you guessed my name ..."
  • I think her targets will be Alex or Jason.
  • We'll see how loyal she is to Kevin if one of them win veto.
  • We'll just see.
  • If she's smart, she could possibly backdoor Paul. I think things might be getting down to where they just might go for it.
  • But, then again, they haven't been playing their own games this season.
  • They've been playing Paul's game.

Is this season over yet?

BB19: Live Feeds Bulletin - HoH Winner - August 31

Well, we know Josh and Paul are safe

Apparently the rain let up enough for them to do the HoH comp. The feeds were blocked for it. But when they returned, Christmas was wearing the HoH key. My early guess is that Alex or Jason will be the target.

Hamster watchers ready?  Let's have a recap!

Julie tells us promises made can blow up your game. (Y'think?) And, then we're into the recap.

They promise us chaos (probably not to the extent we saw on the live feeds) and a jury segment. Julie mentions that they all have started to turn on each other. Well, that was sure to happen.

Raven tearfully tells us how loyal a game she has played. Mark continues to smile as he talks (and later will smile while yelling at Jason). He claims that Jason is hiding in the storage room. And, yes, he is.

Mark confronts Jason. Raven screams at him saying he lied. Jason denies he said he would take Raven off the block. (Yes, he did tell her that.) Alex thinks what Jason did is bad for her own game. (Yes, it is.) Both Kevin and Josh have moved in case of fisticuffs. Matt is off the wall mad ... although smiling. At least his tongue isn't sticking out.

Meanwhile, Paul works on reeling Raven into the fold.

Matt decides to play spy and find out who voted for him to go last week. He asks Kevin first. Kevin said he voted Mark. Jason admits being one vote. Alex lies and said she voted Mark. I actually don't blame her because the wrath would then come her way.

Kevin tells Matt alone that he didn't vote out Matt. Paul goes to run interference. Paul thinks Kevin is in cahoots with Matt for jury votes. Paul spreads his theory to the rest. And, like with all so far this season, they believe Paul.

Josh picks a stupid fight with Kevin. Josh brings up Kevin winning the 25 grand. Kevin says that Josh is being set up and Josh is just a little chump. Kevin knows the score. (But can he actually win anything?)

Now both Jason and Kevin are targets and Paul is gleeful to have set it in motion.

Josh cries to Christmas. Christmas picks up on the fact Kevin wouldn't swear on his kids that he didn't take the money. Christmas knows, since Kevin did swear on them about the Matt vote. She draws the conclusion that Alex was the second vote and is "dangerous."

Jury house segment. Elena and Cody have Paul's number. Mark not so much but he's getting there.

Live vote. Julie tells us Matt has a penalty vote for not following Have Not rules.
Matt -- Thanks to CBS and BB, love all the HG, don't kill each other, Raven best human.
Raven -- Thanks BB, speaks of disease. Thanks to Matt. It will be different without you.

The votes to evict:
Alex -- Matt
Kevin -- Matt
Paul -- Matt
Christmas -- Matt
Josh -- Matt

Unanimous plus one for Matt to go. Raven cries more like it's news to her.

Yikes! They can't play the HoH comp right now due to rain conditions!

Next Thursday will be a double eviction.

I don't think the HoH comp will play out on the live feeds. And, even if it does, I have to be up early in the morning to go to work. I'll let you know what I find out when I find out!

Thanks for coming by!
