Hamster watchers ready?
Ah, Julie is wearing a simple red dress with matching shoes ... much better than last week's outfit! She hints (again) at Sam using her power to save a bro and now we're into the "previously on ..."
But first ... it's a house divided. One vote could make the difference. Which bro will go? Again, pushing the idea of a power app. We get Winston and Brett's ideas on who would/should stay. Kaitlyn is still all upset about Brett's speech mocking her. I doubt she represents her "field." If she does, they're in deep doodoo.
Level 6 is weighing out the pros and cons of the bros. They seem to think Brett is more likely to win comps. The other side gals think Brett is more threatening of the two bros. So, they prefer he goes. The Level 6 gals think work on Sam.
Heh. Rockstar is stuck on the climbing rock wall in the house. Kaitlyn is still "obsessed" with Tyler. He now realizes he's created a monster. Tyler is in a predicament with both sides thinking they have his vote. Winston wants to tug on Sam's heartstrings for her vote to stay. Again, another Diary Room bit with Sam contemplating using her power app. I really think production prompts those.
We're going to go visit Sam's family in Virginia before they finally get to the live eviction. Aw, Sam's parents are nice. She's very creative and her local people love her.
Finally to the living room!
Brett -- Nervous in front of pretty girls. Shell of a man, broken heart. All of you have repaired that heart. Apologizes to Kaitlyn, says Rockstar was going to flip the vote and blame it on Kaitlyn.
Winston -- Had a poem. Goes on about great duos and leads to the bros. Hard to campaign against Brett, would appreciate staying.
The votes to evict:
Kaitlyn -- Brett
Rachel -- Winston
Kaycee -- Winston
Rockstar -- Brett
Fessy -- Brett
Bayleigh -- Brett
... into commercial ...
Angela -- Winston
Haleigh -- Brett
JC -- Winston
Tyler -- Winston
Sam -- Winston
Six to five, Winston is out. Sam does NOT use her power. Rockstar is lighting into Brett. I thought we might have a brouhaha but she stomped away.
He's not happy. He threw Sam's homemade friendship bracelet to the ground. He's upset that his whole alliance voted against him. Julie let him know that Sam and JC did, too.
HoH Comp -- Out on a Limb -- standing on a tree in the BB Forest. It's a wall comp indeed. Here comes the rain!
All still up doing shout-outs as the show ends. My live feeds post will be up shortly.
Big Brother 20: Live Feeds into Thursday - July 19
Just playing ... |
Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Get Your Schedule Right:
- My apologies for the late show blog post last night. CBS really needs to stop screwing around with the Wednesday night show schedule. They claimed the new schedule is 9pm. It was listed in TV listings at 9pm as late as Monday when I last looked. Then they switched it to 8pm AGAIN.
- Now, tonight's show will end at the start of an HoH endurance comp. I will post a show post immediately followed by a separate post to follow the comp on the live feeds.
- Be there or be square.
- If the comp is a wall, I wonder how Rockstar will do. She climbed the rock wall in the living room the other day then panicked and couldn't get down. Of course, if she freezes and panics, she just might win a wall comp!
- Oh noes!
- BB used to have strict rules about sending messages to the outside world and writing. Why can Rockstar leave a message for her kid on that one wall? I'm sure the kid appreciates her mother who left the family for three months in search of fifteen minutes of fame sending the message, but ...!
- Okay, that was my Pick On Rockstar segment. I'm over it now.
- Or not.
- Angela told Brett that she thinks that if Sam doesn't use her power this week, it's automatically played next week. She said she isn't sure.
- I am sure.
- When Bayleigh asked Scottie to describe the game play of others, he said Winston is irrelevant and Sam is sneaky.
- SNEAKY? Sam is one of the un-sneakiest BB players ever! He called that one wrong.
- Scottie is still wanting Brett to go this week.
- Tyler and Company still would prefer Brett stay.
- Lots and lots of "what if" talks about HOH wins and who they'll nominate.
- I, for one, am very happy Bayleigh put herself right in the mix and is playing the game after Swaggy went. I had feared more crying.
- Bayleigh is saying that Kaitlyn has the third power when indeed it's Bayleigh herself who has it. I believe she only told Fessy and he hasn't told anyone else.
- Tyler has remained mum about his power. Good.
- Everyone knows of Sam's power, but the details are sketchy for most.
- A lot of them think JC has the second power.
- When Tyler asked JC if he had a power, JC said he would have told him if he did. But, otherwise, he's just letting the rumors fly!
- Bayleigh and Tyler talked about how possessive others are with friendships in the house. Specifically mentioned were Kaitlyn and Fessy. Yep, they got that right.
- That said, Bayleigh would like to target Tyler. Nothing personal, all game.
- She didn't tell him that, though!
- They played games and did little improv bits to amuse themselves. They played Never Have I Ever.
- It's all a waiting game until tonight.

Big Brother 20: POV Show Blog Party - July 18
Sorry this is late. The show was originally scheduled for 9pm!
It's the get dizzy and spin veto comp. This time, after spinning, they have to stack champagne glasses in a pyramid.
Scottie won the Power of Veto!
Brett is kicking himself for losing the comp. He's not happy. Sam consoles him and tells us via the Diary Room that she could use her power to save him ... or save it for whomever is evicted next week.
Scottie is ready for the brodown.
Winston is all apologetic for his reactions after the comp to Scottie.
To read or not to read! Haleigh must read 'Hamlet' in costume standing on an apple crate wherever dictated by BB. The first reading is in the kitchen. 494 pages, not to be read all at once, but she must finish reading the entire play. BB is calling her all around the house for the readings.
The bros go to Scottie and propose he take Winston off and backdoor Kaitlyn. They tell him that both sides of the house will be okay with that.
Oh, geez. Kaitlyn's visions have Brett and Winston coming after her. Scottie admits to her that they did. Rockstar and Fessy are there, too. It fits Scottie's own agenda, so he's fine with her aura, visions, whatever. So, she confronts the bros.
Veto meeting time! Scottie lets them talk.
Winston - Doesn't want to campaign against Brett.
Brett - An odd poem, had a vision, you must take me off.
Mean, but funny.
Scottie didn't save either of them.

Having fun yet? |
Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Waiting For Thursday:
- As I have mentioned before -- the more screen caps I post, the less happening in the house.
- Sigh.
- When it's on the quiet side like now I tend to get irked at the smallest things.
- Rockstar's annoying ridiculous self-imposed character.
- Kaitlyn's increasingly gurgly voice.
- Oh, well. Onto the happenings (or non-happenings) of the day ...
- Brett and Tyler talked about this being the last week for Sam to use her power and she should use it on Brett.
- Hmm. Technically, it's good for another week. It's just that next week there will be no choice.
- Sam would like to build up a mobile haircut salon.
- Not in the house, of course.
- Gah! Sam, I love ya like a sister, but ... why did you tell Rockstar you have a power?!?!
- At least she didn't go into details and told her it ends this week if she doesn't use it.
- Rockstar is convinced that JC also has a power.
- At least Tyler is keeping his mouth shut about his power. Some speculate he has it, but he hasn't told anyone.
- Kaitlyn, now hanging on Scottie a lot more, needs to keep her lies straight. She is no Andy working all sides of the house.
- Kaitlyn also blew up about casting allowing people like Sam into the house when she hasn't a clue how the game is played.
- I'm ready to blow up about them letting Kaitlyn, an obviously unbalanced soul, into the house.
- She also told Scottie that she's disappointed that girls (Kaycee, Angela and Rachel) want to keep Brett when he's so disrespectful of women.
- @@
- Of course, just yesterday she was hanging all over Brett and he apparently preferred the others.
- Tyler has come to the realization that he built a monster named Kaitlyn.
- Winston still can't get JC to commit to voting to keep him.
- That's because JC isn't going to vote to keep Winston.
- JC warned Scottie about all of Kaitlyn's lies and fabrications.
- Hmm.
- JC is working both sides of the house and most know it. But, at least he keeps his stories straight.
- Interesting ... when a couple of the hamsters talked about Kaitlyn holding hands with Tyler and what her boyfriend would think, the feeds cut. Maybe he did indeed get to rescind his permission to be talked about.
- Winston worked for votes to stay. He told Rachel he threw the last HoH comp.
- Some of the hamsters are suspicious that Sam might be a plant, an America's Player sort of thing.
- The ants have come back. The Diary Room told Tyler they need to clean and not leave food sitting out.
- Heh.
- Rockstar claimed that her father once lent Donald Trump a million dollars.
- Yet she says she needs to win the money on the show for her children.
- @@
- The stress is getting to Sam. She cried, all alone.
- Kaitlyn keeps her tears for when the others can give her attention.
- It still looks like Brett will probably stay.

Big Brother 20: Live Feeds into Tuesday - July 17
Tries way too hard to be "unique" |
Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of An Irked Owl:
- For something new and different -- Kaitlyn talked in her gurgly almost crying voice, then cried.
- I figured out, other than thinking she's an expert at BB, why I'm bothered by Rockstar. First, she calls herself Rockstar. Second ... I really like people who are their own people, people unique and different. But when someone works too hard at being "out there" it just all comes across as an act to me.
- Obviously, we have had little going on since I'm blathering about that stuff.
- Despite the fact that there are sides in the house, we've had no really good brouhahas and barely a kerfuffle.
- I'm almost ready for them to join hands and sing Kumbaya.
- Sure, they trash talk (whisper, write on arms) about others behind closed doors. But, when together, it's all just so peachy-keen!
- Almost everyone has taken part in Kaitlyn bashing when she's not around.
- I believe the internet has done the same.
- Yet she continues to cry and hang all over Tyler and Fessie ... and anyone else who gets stuck with her.
- I bet she still thinks she made such a big move and will go down in BB history.
- She just might go down in BB history ... beating all previous records of crying in the house.
- Rachel wants her fellow Level 6 members not to throw the HoH comp to Brett.
- So ... we know they prefer to keep Brett over Winston.
- Meanwhile, Winston and Bayleigh bonded a bit.
- Her side would prefer to keep Winston as Brett may be harder to beat in comps. They feel they can get Winston out whenever they want to boot him.
- A rather odd alliance formed overnight -- Bayleigh and Kaycee.
- Hmm.
- Bayleigh is so much better without Swaggy. She's started playing the game!
- I've noticed that there are two people riding completely under the radar when talk of future evictions go down -- JC and Sam.
- JC isn't particularly trusted and people think he's working both sides of the house, can't be trusted. But they like him nonetheless. And, he does certainly try hard.
- And Sam is just Sam. She likes to cook for people, brighten their days, be a shoulder to cry on. No one can accuse her of scheming.
- Yet she does scheme, mostly with the Level 6 group although she's not really a part of it.
- Scottie is a bit suspicious of Sam, but not to the point of wanting her out of the house. I believe he thinks there are bigger fish to fry.
- Rockstar said that she searched for years for eyeglasses that would make her look "cool." She finally went with "ridiculous." Yep, that's the ticket!
- It's still up in the air which bro will go.
- Scottie now has Tyler's number and knows he's "dangerous" in the game.
- Sam is reluctant to use her power.
- I have a feeling production might try to influence her to use it.
- Oh, well. If she doesn't, whoever is evicted next week will get a chance to come back. Is the unknown better than the known?
- Hmm ...
