Big Brother 20: Live Feeds Power of Veto Meeting - July 30

Bulletin! Bulletin!
Alert! Alert!

Had this been an actual emergency ...

I called it right. Tyler did NOT use the veto.
Rachel and Brett remain on the block.
I still don't know if Tyler & Co. will have enough votes to save Brett although they think they do.

Big Brother 20: Live Feeds into Monday Morning - July 30

Sam, the honeybee whisperer

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Blabbing Bobcats:
  • Shortly after I posted my last update, Rachel blabbed to Angela about Bayleigh's power.
  • Of course, Angela told Tyler.
  • And now everybody in Level 6 knows something that only a few of Bayleigh's actual allies know.
  • It doesn't do more than a heads up for Tyler.
  • We know that his only way not to be on the block next week, whether he uses the veto today or not, is that he would have to win HoH.
  • That would be his only safety other than using his cloud.
  • Now, if I were a hamster in the house, I'd probably go for a Tyler eviction -- he's too well-liked and he wins comps. I wouldn't want to be against him at the end. Would you?
  • But that's not necessarily how these hamsters think. They just might vote to keep him.
  • As a show voyeur, I like him. I want him to stay. He's fun to watch and really playing the game.
  • Bayleigh has said she's only giving him this week's reprieve because he lost Kaitlyn, someone real close to his heart.
  • Cough.
  • BUT ... Rockstar and Haleigh think they should keep Brett and Tyler around to get rid of the other girls they want gone.
  • And then how would they get rid of Brett and Tyler?
  • They obviously aren't thinking any kind of end game.
  • A honeybee landed in Sam's hair. After she brushed it away, she put it in a glass and told Tyler all about honeybees. It then crawled on her hand when she released it. I think she got stung, although she said she didn't. The bee didn't look all that healthy the last time I saw it.
  • She did leave it free to go.
  • I don't think Tyler will be using the veto (although now he knows he has nothing to lose by doing so).
  • They THINK they have enough votes for Brett to stay.
  • Some of these players are hard to figure out. For example ... is Kaycee going to be loyal to L6 or that alliance she has with Bayleigh?
  • Haleigh and Rockstar seem to be the only two really WITH Bayleigh.
  • Fessy is getting so ticked off at both Haleigh and Rockstar, he could align with others. But I don't know if he would abandon Bayleigh.
  • Ohh ... Rachel and Tyler talked!
  • But he still would prefer Brett stay.
  • He wants Brett to hang around a lot with Scottie so they can blame JC's vote on Scottie.
  • All said and done, I don't think Tyler will use the veto. However, I'm not as sure as he is that they have the votes for Brett to stay.
  • We'll see.

Tyler feels creative

Scottie is SO not a sunbather

Stress of being queen getting to her?

She did it. Now Orwell is dead.

Big Brother 20: Live Feeds into Sunday Evening - July 29

The man with a plan?

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Grumbling Groundhogs:
  • Rachel okayed being a pawn.
  • Then she didn't want to be a pawn.
  • She started throwing people under that reality TV bus and making up a thing or two.
  • Don't be like Rachel.
  • The beginning of yet another blindside is afoot.
  • Or on hand.
  • Something like that.
  • Bayleigh isn't doing herself any favors by threatening people to work with her.
  • Many still believe Scottie is the hinky vote this week. JC is working that for all it's worth.
  • The people who don't think Scottie was the vote think that Rachel did it to frame Tyler.
  • Angela is upset with Rachel. She told Tyler her loyalty is to him, not Rachel. Rachel is annoying her and saying things to Bayleigh about her.
  • Brett, Fessy, JC and Tyler all talked about the girls alliance.
  • Sam told Kaycee that she wants to protect her and Tyler "at all costs." According to her, Angela and Scottie could be replacement nominees.
  • Sam would like the final three to be herself, Kaycee and Tyler.
  • Some (Angela, Tyler and Kayxee) are scheming to frame Rachel to Bayleigh just before the veto ceremony.
  • They think they can get Scottie's vote because he knows Rachel is after him.
  • They think they have enough votes to save Brett.
  • Hmm.
  • The Have Nots for this week were the ones who did the worst in the last HoH comp -- Fessy, Tyler and Scottie.
  • Fessy's best line of the day while talking to Haleigh and Bayleigh -- "I have no strategy."
  • Heh. Really? We couldn't tell!
  • The only hitch in all this planning is that Tyler would prefer not to use the veto and stay in good graces.
  • About the only thing that Rachel hasn't blabbed is Bayleigh's power.
  • No matter who gets nominated next week, unless he's HoH, Tyler is in trouble if Brett doesn't go this week.
  • Bayleigh would use her power to put him on the block.

I should be queen!

We need a pool net. I can build one!

Big Brother 20: HoH Comp, Nominations Show Blog Party - July 29

As the show airs here, I'll be live-blogging it -- refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area. Please feel free to join in on the discussion!

Tonight we will see the HoH comp done after the live show (and blocked to the feeds) on Thursday night as well as nominations. Feed watchers already know the results and who won the Power of Veto. I ask that no one comments on those as this post is a spoiler-free zone. I will remove spoiler comments. You can talk about them on the live feeds posts as much as you wish.

We will patiently sit through the "previously on" segment. Now we get to hear Rockstar gloat over the results of the vote. Fessy is relieved. Tyler wants to know who did the hinky vote and he wants to clear his own name. He's on a mission! Fessy is upset that Haleigh thinks it was him. JC isn't owning up to it.

JC and Tyler try to deflect the vote controversy over onto Scottie. They seem to succeed.

HoH comp time! Information Superhighway. "Perfect Timing" Sit on top of your email, from out box to in box. The goal is to get there in eight seconds. It's a sliding thing. Closest to that time wins.

Bayleigh goes first. 8.08 uh-oh!
Tyler 10.98
Haleigh 9.50
Brett CABLE WENT OUT
BACK ON
Fessy threw it and flew it - 4 seconds and a crash
Bayleigh is in the lead
Rachel is the last one - 10.04

BAYLEIGH is the new HoH

So, now she's the "queen of the house." We hear more than once that it was all for Swaggy. @@

Tyler is acting almost lovelorn and lost because Kaitlyn left. Bayleigh is buying it. Heh. Now she wants him on her team, thinks he's a free agent now and wants his loyalty. Heh.

Good, no more queen for a bit -- we get a fun segment on The Short and Tall of it with Fessy and JC.

The one-on-one's start. Haleigh thinks that Brett and JC might be good nominees. Bayleigh says Scottie is shady, maybe him. When Bayleigh talks to Scottie he denies the hinky vote and tells her he thinks it was Rachel. She treats him roughly (verbally) but tells us she will let him slide for now because she doesn't think he is after her.

Bayleigh talks to JC. She tells him that she won't put him up if he won't target him. He promises he has her back. (Lies.) She told him that she had been considering him as a pawn because everyone likes him.  He's worried and tells Fessy he needs to talk to Bayleigh. He tells her that JC would be loyal to her if she doesn't put him up. She told Fessy that his neck will be on the line if JC doesn't buck up and follow.

She seems to be on a real power trip. Dang ... she's big on threatening! Poor Fessy! And Haleigh backs her up! Sheesh.

Bayleigh told Rachel that Scottie was blaming the vote on her. But she doesn't want to put him up. She tells her she wants Brett to go home. Then she tells her about her power app! Silly Bayleigh! Rachel agrees to go up as a pawn if she must.

Nominations Ceremony time. Bayleigh nominates Brett, then Rachel. She says Brett is the easiest to put up, been up before, no blood. Rachel, just because we haven't talked game. All business, nothing personal.

Big Brother 20: Live Feeds into Sunday Morning - July 29

Have Not feast party at midnight

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of What Will Tyler Do?:
  • Here's what I could gather on the Veto Comp held during a huge feeds block yesterday -- It was strenuous with huge puzzle pieces. Sam timed out. Brett's time beat Bayleigh's time. His time was 11 minutes something. JC timed out -- Tyler said some of the puzzle pieces were just about as big as him and, while JC is strong, it definitely wasn't a comp for him.
  • Oh. And Tyler won. His time was six minutes something.
  • Now EVERYBODY wants to be his buddy!
  • Of course, if Tyler were to save Brett, that would throw Bayleigh's plans awry. Brett is her target.
  • Rachel and Brett think he'll use it to save Brett and JC will go on the block. They also think JC has a power. So, I wouldn't bet on their thoughts!
  • Tyler told them he felt he had to win it because he thought he might be backdoored -- he himself needed the safety of the veto win.
  • Hmm. I don't think it was to the backdoor point yet. But others have said the only way they will get him out is a backdoor.
  • Tyler told them he was planning on using it and telling Bayleigh he knew of the backdoor plan.
  • Hmm.
  • They decide he should save Brett and get Bayleigh to put Scottie up in his place. They think Rachel would easily stay over Scott.
  • When Tyler talked to Bayleigh, she told him she had no plans to backdoor him this week -- Brett is her target.
  • She thinks they (Tyler and her) can work together.
  • She wants him to keep the nominations the same.
  • Tyler hinted around that he's close with Scottie as per the earlier plan to put Scottie in the nominations chair.
  • We know Tyler is friends with everyone, but only some of them are in his inner circle.
  • Bayleigh is sure that either Tyler or Scottie have the remaining power because "nobody else in the house has actually done anything."
  • Tyler downplayed his relationship with Rachel to Bayleigh. (Earlier when he talked to Rachel and Brett, the plan was for him to save Brett because Bayleigh knows he's close to Brett but has no clue about Rachel's relationship to Tyler.)
  • Bayleigh thinks of Scottie as a friend and would be reluctant to put him on the block. She doesn't think Scottie would ever target her.
  • They discussed how close both of them (Bayleigh and Tyler) are with Sam, but how little she confides in them.
  • Their talk ended with no commitment from Tyler.
  • But Bayleigh is sure he's leaving the nominations the same.
  • Meanwhile, Rockstar is pushing for Brett to go because he was mean to her.
  • Rockstar is getting weirder and weirder. Now she tends to sit, smiling to herself, spinning back and forth on stools and in some kind of trance.
  • Eep.
  • Meanwhile, Bayleigh is telling Rachel that Tyler wanted her to put Angela on the block as a replacement nom!
  • Silly Bayleigh. She has no clue how close they are.
  • She told Rachel that she will put up Tyler next week if he uses the veto.
  • Remember, she went and spilled the beans to Rachel about her power.
  • Yikes!
  • Now Tyler is worried if he uses the veto, either Sam or Angela will go on the block.
  • It seems that Bayleigh's lies do have the girls doubting Tyler.
  • It's beginning to look like Tyler's best choice for himself would be not to use the veto and let Brett go.
  • We'll see.

How can I get in Tyler's head?

Tyler needs to save me.

What is Tyler going to do?

Everybody wants to be best friends now.

Tyler needs to save me.
