BB23: Live Feeds into Thursday Morning - July 29

Both know the game. They need to work it, though.

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Gregarious Goats:

  • I don't think I've ever seen this many alliances and side alliances, not to mention duos, cross-mingling so many hamsters!
  • Yet we continue to have house votes.
  • I'm kind of hoping that since the three most agreed upon targets will be gone this week, that will stop.
  • And, though I really like most of them, I hope the Cookout develops some cracks and the promise to never nominated another will end. I don't like it that any group that large has that kind of promise going on.
  • Wait! The latest Cookout plan is to have a member and a non-member on the block.
  • Still, the vote to evict will oust the non-member.
  • Wah.
  • I like some not in the Cookout alliance and would like to see a mix in the house.
  • Claire and Tiffany are now committed to a Final Two. With the Cookout, not sure how they would swing that. I'd like to see it, though.
  • Claire thinks that Kyland or Xavier plan to target her after Whitney goes.
  • She's probably right, at least about Xavier.
  • She wants them out before jury.
  • That's gonna be a bit hard to do, methinks.
  • Brent still thinks he has the votes to stay.
  • Maybe he doesn't realize that the votes he has are actually eviction votes!
  • Tiffany and Claire are onto the fact that Kyland and SarahBeth are working together, sharing information and such.
  • With Tiffany already thinking that Kyland is getting a bit too controlling, that's not good for the group of four -- Tiff, Claire, Kyland and Derek X.
  • Derek X's name keeps getting mentioned as a possible nomination.
  • Tiffany has been careful but is working in that she thinks they can use him for a while.
  • Brent is sure he's being targeted because of his looks. Thus my caption on the screen cap I have of him.
  • So there.
  • There's a bit of talk about warning Brent before the show.
  • I hope not.

He keeps sitting in the nomination chairs.
Predictions, please?

Brent is still so sure she wants him to stay. Heh.

He's so vain he thinks this show is about him.

Tiffany is there to play the game, nothing else.

Hannah has no idea how vulnerable she is to the masses.

If Britini is a pawn again next week I just might cry!

No, not another new alliance!

BB23: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - July 28

Good evening! While this is indeed a show post and I don't allow spoilers from the live feeds here ... I am personally going to bend that a bit. Just a teensy bit with no real spoilers.

I think we're in for an entertaining show.

There. I said it. That was my spoiler. Heh.

I'll be live blogging the show's major happenings as it airs here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get the latest update! So, where's the party? Well, head on down into the comments area. You'll find it there!

We'll just sit through the "previously on" segment humming show tunes.

We pick up the action after the nomination ceremony. Xavier seriously thinks that having Britini as a pawn will convince Brent that she's the target. Well, um. Azah is upset and consoling Britini. She feels left out of her alliance (Cookout) decisions.

Xavier tries to talk to Britini. He tells us that it's the best move to make sure Brent goes. Of course, if he were to put up a Cookout member, that too would assure Brent is out. But Xavier is keeping to his promise not to nominate any of them.

Hannah tells us that she's so fed up with Brent that she's willing to take him out. (Not on a date like he would think.) Whitney wants him out.

Azah is still having issues over Britini being nominated. Derek F sympathizes but says it is what it is. Brent tells Xavier that he's not dumb, had been loyal, etc. He is not pawn material, but the target. He's right, but Xavier still tells him that Britini is the target.

Brent is sure that he has most of the house in his pocket. Yeah, right. Brent talks to Whitney, Derek X and Hannah. "Nothing about me screams pawn." They all nod but no one speaks up.

Oh, geez, Xavier breaks down in tears to Azah. She comforts him. She tells us that she understands he did what he felt best for his game. She then confronts Tiffany about her and Derek X targeting Britini in the Wild Card comp. Tiffany says it was to make sure Brent stayed on the block.

Tiffany tells Xavier about Azah confronting her. First cracks in the Cookout? Maybe. Xavier chalks it up to emotion on Azah's part.

Ah, the Not a Showmance between Alyssa and Christian. Not my favorite thing. Unlike the producers of the show, I don't care for the showmances, especially if they get to the point of soft porn on the live feeds. It's not quite to that point with these two, but ...!

Time to pick players for the Veto Comp. Xavier picks first and gets Houseguest Choice, goes for Christian. Brent draws Derek F. Britini draws Whitney. Derek tells us he would take Britini down if he wins. Whitney is more concerned that Brent stay on the block so they can send him home. Brent thinks both would save him.

The Cookout has drafted Hannah in ... to a point, at least.

SarahBeth hosts and it's time for the veto comp. Spinning and then bowling again with the participants in tutus! This time it's being done in rounds. They have to knock down the numbers not in their room numbers for each round. The winner each round chooses the match-up for the next.

Britini challenges Brent. Brent is having real problems. Even so, he eliminates Brtini.

Xavier challenges Brent. Brent is starting to get sick. He gets sick and eliminated, too.

Derek F challenges Whitney. Derek beats Whitney.

Christian challenges Derek F. Christian wins and Derek F is out.

Last challenge -- Xavier and Christian. Christian wins!

CHRISTIAN WINS THE POWER OF VETO!

Brent is sure he has the votes to stay. Delusional much, kid?

Yes, he is delusional. He's running around telling people that they need to keep the noms the same. Which, of course, is exactly what they plan. He thinks he's doing some kind of major epic BB move. What he doesn't know is that HE IS THE TARGET and all plan on blindsiding him.

Time for the veto meeting! Christian does not use the power of veto.

BB23: Live Feeds into Tuesday Night - July 27

For the next few weeks, maximum chillitude

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Chill Chinchillas:

  • I realize I didn't give you a report this morning. Had I done so, it would have read: Brent continues to think he's all that and can get them to vote out Britini, so much talk about what each one would do if they won HOH, Derek F complaining that the others don't clean up and tons of small talk.
  • To be honest, in between random feed blocks for unknown reasons, that could describe much of today as well.
  • There were a few things of note, though.
  • Xavier had a long talk with the camera (us) while alone in the HOH room.
  • I always love it when the hamsters do that.
  • He pointed out one by one that he's aligned with everyone in the house with the exception of Britini.
  • And, yeah ... he's even Number One on her hit list.
  • He says he won the comp to do what the majority wanted and to strengthen the bonds, won't win another comp until he has to for his own game.
  • He anticipates at least a few weeks of "maximum chillitude."
  • However, he did say this can all go as planned or fall right apart.
  • There is a bit of a crack in the Tiffany/Claire/Kyland bond. It seems both of the women think Kyland is trying to be a bit too controlling and take over. Uh-oh.
  • Kyland needs to step back on that one.
  • I think Claire and Tiffany (especially Tiffany) are the two who could bring anyone into the final four. Both know the game inside and out and play it like experts.
  • Lots of game talk but nothing particularly earth-shattering. We have too many "ifs" going on.
  • Brent is still pestering Hannah.
  • Perhaps she's tolerating it because she knows they're voting him out this week.
  • Perhaps she's tolerating it because she doesn't want to make him angry.
  • But if it were me, trust me ... he'd be leaving me alone.
  • That's pretty much all I have for you!

Carefully does make-up but does this to her hair

What? This is only the third week?

My future's so bright I had to put on shades

Doesn't that pose bother his left hand?

What if they had a season in which no one could cook well?

BB23: Live Feeds into Monday Night - July 26

Brent is running the house. Just ask him

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Rapping Rodents:

  • The only thing of real consequence that happened today was the Power of Veto meeting.
  • And, that wasn't of any real consequence at all.
  • We knew Christian had talked with Xavier and wouldn't be using the veto to save anyone.
  • And he didn't use it.
  • Ho-hum.
  • Britini has accepted that she's merely a pawn as much as she can. She's still not a happy camper and will target Xavier if she wins HOH.
  • She's making a new rap for a speech.
  • Although her rapping skills are a bit lacking I feel credit must be given to her for even doing it.
  • Shout-outs sound better to a rap beat.
  • Brent, although told time and time again that the target is Britini, is still convinced that he's the target because he's all that and a bag of chips.
  • He's right that he's the target. But it's more because he can be obnoxious and makes the women uncomfortable.
  • That said, he thinks he's talked people into voting out Britini and his plan is working because Christian didn't save her.
  • Oy.
  • Azah has calmed down some. However, I think the damage is done. She will never be a strong ally if she's such an emotional player.
  • That's about it. We had a lot of odd and lengthy feeds blocks today. I don't know why.

Derek X is coming along well for a recruit

Yep, another rap this week.

My hope for the final three

Dazed by the wonder that is Brent

Get it together, Azah!

BB23: Live Feeds into Monday Morning - July 26

We called those hats "fishing hats" when I was young.

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Trapped Terrapins:
  • Sunday is generally the day the least game happenings happen.
  • Combine the open backyard with no comps going on, veto pretty much decided and you pretty much have a whole lot of nothing.
  • And, yeah ... yesterday lived up to the reputation.
  • They played pool.
  • They laid about in the hammock.
  • They played in the pool.
  • They played volleyball.
  • They hung out in the hot tub.
  • Once inside, as this group has been, they have group activities as they do. Improv, group games, you name it.
  • This crowd generally gets along well with each other.
  • Brent thinks he does, but his own ego is his worst enemy.
  • And, he remains the target this week.
  • Azah feels she is being left out of the loop with the Cookout.
  • Well, she is -- to an extent anyway. Her hissy fit over Britini being nominated has decimated her own game.
  • Actually, I can see her and Derek F being the first ones out from the Cookout probably before Claire and Derek X.
  • I had high hopes for Azah, possibly because I adore her old school afro hair style. But if she wants to lose her game so Britini can stay in ... well, she ain't no gamer to me!
  • As various alliance groups met up, each discussed the pecking order of who would go when.
  • Talk of throwing HOH was talked. Derek X pointed out that it's easy to throw a comp yourself, but hard to throw it to a particular person.
  • Xavier is adamant that Britini NOT win HOH this coming week.
  • Yeah, I could see that.
  • Meanwhile, Britini has avoided answering questions about who she would nominate if she did win.
  • The pecking order seems to be Britini, Alyssa, Christian, Whitney, possibly Azah if she keeps acting out and playing emotional about other people's games and Derek F mainly because, other than cooking he generally lazes about in one of the nominations chairs or a bed.
  • Of course, not necessarily in that order and after Brent goes this week.
  • They talked about Brent getting so sick at the veto comp due to "motion sickness" yet he is a flight attendant on airplanes. Hmm.
  • Tiffany, BB gold this season, doesn't seem to be the target of anyone.
  • Even though Tiffany and Azah had words, I doubt Azah would even try targeting her.
  • One thing we might want to keep in mind ... Tiffany is the OLD person in the house. Now that Frenchie is out, she has about ten years or more of life experience than any of them.

Her relationship with Derek X keeps the target off her
 ... for now

Claire and Tiffany are the Thelma and Louise of the season!

Despite the showmance, Christian is more bearable as of late.

Not a showmance -- big alliance meeting!

Has repeatedly said he would be happy to make jury.
Let him.

Her days are numbered, mehinks.

Not even a boatmance going on here

I'm adding in this GIF from Hamsterwatch. The guys got facial sheets and this went down ...
