BB23: Last Live Feeds of the Season! - Sept. 29

World Class Listener

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Finally a Finale:

  • Well, it looks like Derek might have gone and done it.
  • He's been so nasty, demeaning and hurtful to Azah that the night before last and yesterday she went and told him that she won't be taking him to the final two if she wins part three.
  • She said that she thinks Xavier, for all he's done all season, deserves to come in better than third place when compared to her and Derek.
  • Derek reminded her that he could have voted her out -- he voted out Kyland with whom he had a final two deal.
  • She rebutted that they -- her and Derek -- have no such deals.
  • She knows the Kyland ouster was Xavier's decision and Derek was just doing his bidding.
  • Derek and Xavier have told her that they have a final two deal -- if Xavier wins part three, he will take Derek.
  • She understands and would be okay with that.
  • Meanwhile, Xavier should get some kind of auxiliary award just for being so patient, especially with Derek.
  • A few times I saw him roll his eyes.
  • He is trying to steer both of them to favoring him.
  • I do think he would go with Derek not just because he promised (remember, he promised Kyland final two, too) but because his stats and game play should reflect in an almost unanimous win.
  • He would also most likely win against Azah.
  • Derek is all bent out of shape ... again ... still ... whatever.
  • He thinks that if Azah promises Xavier final two, Xavier won't feel the need to win the final part of HOH as he would be guaranteed to go anyway.
  • But think about it -- Derek has spent HOURS fussing to Xavier about Azah saying she was going to take Xavier to the final two if she wins the last part.
  • Um. Has he no mind at all? He's fussing to the person that will benefit from her change of mind. What does he expect of him?
  • Derek was so upset that he started calling her Ms. Azah, saying he wasn't going to talk to her and moved out of the room the night before last.
  • Yep, that gave Xavier more time to work his mojo on her.
  • Smooth move, Derek!
  • Of course, he did talk to her again, this time a bit more apologetic.
  • But will it do any good?
  • I still think that she might/probably will take Xavier.
  • That is, if she wins the last part.
  • I actually think Xavier will win the last part and take Delusional Derek with him.
  • Oh. And he is STILL fussing about the minor injuries to his his knees. They actually just look dark like his elbows. Azah really scraped her knee a lot worse early in the season and didn't whine. I'd hate to see Derek really hurt if he acts this way over something so minor!

Still fussing over his minor knee injuries

Will she choose X if she wins Part Three?

Has no concept of reality ... at all.

BB23: Live Feeds into Monday Afternoon - Sept. 27

I wish she would stop leaning on men

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Delusional Drama:

  • Seriously, not a lot has changed in there.
  • Derek has been running through his final speech to the jurors and it's pretty much what we saw on last night's show.
  • He is whining and overplaying knee injuries he received during the Part Two comp.
  • Xavier has been rolling his eyes and laughing about Derek's non-ending cries.
  • He has been patient-ish with him but has kept trying to point out that the perceived injuries aren't that bad.
  • Kyland pocketed a ring from Derek that belonged to Derek's father or something similarly sentimental (although Derek says he can buy another one, so ...).
  • He and Xavier searched all over for the ring.
  • Aha! They don't know that Kyland was wearing it the night he was evicted. Just before the results were given on camera, Kyland removed the ring and pocketed it.
  • On camera, mind you.
  • But they were there and apparently didn't see it.
  • I actually had to re-watch to see it.
  • But, no, Derek. "Tooken" is not a word. He took the ring. He has taken the ring. He stole the ring. But it was NOT "tooken."
  • While I'm complaining, I would like that fan Xavier keeps playing with destroyed. He keeps whipping it open and closed. The sound on the live feeds is as bad as loud card shuffling.
  • The cards can go away, too.
  • At least chess is quiet.
  • Tensions are running real high between Derek and Azah.
  • You would think he'd realize that, since his making the final two MIGHT be in her hands if she wins the last part of HOH, he should play nice.
  • Nope. He keeps acting like he played a better game than her, saved her in the Kyland vote out scenario (which she KNEW was Xavier's wishes/demand), carried her all game long ... and on and on.
  • He's kind of sounding the same noise at Xavier about what a great game he's played.
  • Xavier is laughing it off (although not to his face) because he knows what a bad player Derek has been.
  • But it's getting to Azah. It's very possible that she might reconsider her options if she wins that last part.
  • Xavier is worried that she might and has been studying and memorizing as much as he can.
  • Xavier is still telling Derek he will pick him if he wins the last comp part. He probably will. He knows Derek's speech inside and out, certainly knows Derek's game (or lack thereof) and probably thinks he would have a better chance to win against Derek than Azah.
  • He would/should win against either.
  • With so few in the house, it has turned mostly into The Derek Drama Show. If not his comp losses, it's his knees. If not his knees, it's the position he's in which he has no say in the game. On and on.
  • It could be just me ... but I wish Azah would stop cuddling with Xavier and even a bit with Derek.
  • I know I'm just not the touchy-feely huggy type. So it could be me. But, to me, it makes her look dependent on the men ... or something to that effect.
  • I know she wants Xavier to choose her for final two if he wins, but sheesh.

That fan needs to be trashed or
taken away from Xavier!

Hand in pants, finger in mouth ...

What? Actually not cuddling or leaning on a man?

Laughing at Derek's cries of pain drama

Feeling sorry for himself ... again

BB23: 1st Part of Final HOH Comp Show Blog Party - Sept. 26

Good evening! I hope everyone is doing well! Tonight's show should be a lot of filler and the first part of the three-part final HOH comp. Now, I know in real life that part two has already played out. However, since this is a show post and followed by many without live feeds, it's a NO SPOILERS ZONE. Until it shows on the show, please don't talk about it in the comments! If you wish to comment on live feeds, my most recent post is at this link right here.

We're down to the final three not only on the show, but in our blog pool as well. I was out long ago with Christian ... just when I was getting to like him! Here's the latest from the esteemed Blog Pool Lifeguard SueGee:

Azah Awasum - Dr Celine, Krysta Gibson, Nickelpeed, Rbennie
Derek Frazier - Glenn Allen, Jean from Tampa, Luckysmom, MikesGirl
Xavier Prather - Aya Marie, Donna NY, Ed in Ohio, Petals

JURY: Britini D'Angelo, Derek Xiao, Sarah Beth Steagall, Claire Rehfuss, Alyssa Lopez, Tiffany Mitchell, Hannah Chaddha, Kyland Young

I'll be live blogging, updating this entry with the major happenings as they air on the show here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get the latest news. As always, the real party is in the comments area -- please feel free to join in on the fun!

The show is running a couple of minutes late here. But, since it's followed by the Tony Awards tonight, it won't be too late.

They're touting it as "Part One of the Season Finale." 8:05PM here and we have lift-off! Julie does the intro in a black slacks suit. I will have to check again to see if it's the one she wore before. We have them pre-Kyland going in the Previously On segment. Nope, different outfit.

Xavier's lawyer lie, but what was the secret who got him to the final three? He posed as a bartender from the start. Derek is guessing he's a lawyer. Xavier says no showmances for him this summer. Made a final two with Derek F on Day One. Then he goes into all of his alliances. Cookout most important. Mission important as representation matters. He says he was the glue that kept the Cookout together. He threw comps through the start. He did want one HOH just to show he's capable. He knew all wanted Brent out.

But all did not go his way. He was nominated via the roulette wheel. He was nominated by himself even for winning a veto. (He actually knew he was safe every time.) He talks of accepting Kyland's final two. He wanted his biggest threat for the win out -- Tiffany. So, he had to convince Kyland to nominate her, then Hannah. Then at the final four, he won HOH and veto. He considered Kyland his biggest threat, so he had to go. He convinced Derek to vote him out. He made a promise to his brother before the brother passed that he would make sure to take care of his nephew.

Now Azah's story, hopefully not as long! She has seen every season, was ready to be the comp beast Alpha female ... then realized she couldn't. She had to go under the radar, relationship with her team Jokers, then the Cookout (where many were bigger targets than her). She came out squeaky clean in the Kyland-Xavier-Tiffany bloodbath. Low profile building personal relationships with all. She played an honest game and was honest with others even if it caused friction.

Joy in the final six because they set an example. She was not a target within the Cookout but won HOH when she needed it. Lied to Hannah (and feels bad about it) but targeting her was what she needed to do for her own game. Never saw the block until the final four. She wants to win to buy a new house for her parents.

Derek's turn. Of course, his father is mentioned. Has not won a comp but he will tell us how he dominated the game. He will go by Big D. Wants to represent Black, gay and big men. His social game will be his forte. Used charm and personality to build connections on Day One. Love at first sight with Frenchie, final two deals with him and Xavier. Then a final two with Kyland. He wanted the big competitors on his side. His best friend in the game is Azah.

He didn't win the most (NONE) competitions. Didn't need to as he was always good with the person who did win. He formed the Cookout -- he says. He put it together and lies to others so they don't guess. Pardon me ... I just threw up a bit in my mouth while typing his accomplishments.

Ahem. He couldn't work with Tiffany and almost quit the Cookout. In the end he stayed and the Cookout made the final six. He says it was his decision to evict Kyland (although we know that was Xavier). Perfect social game, deserves the win over anybody in the house. Gag me now people.

Finally time for Part One of the HOH comp!

It's an ocean theme -- Bouncy Boat Bash. They are on "boats" in an ocean setting with waves expected. It's reminiscent of the surfboard one a few seasons back. It's raining and becomes a Sharknado! Other fish are flying at them, too.

Derek out first -- 19 minutes. The only surprise is he lasted that long!

Azah slipped, 26 minutes.

XAVIER WINS FINAL HOH PART ONE!

BB23: Live Feeds Part Two HOH Comp Winner Bulletin - Sept. 25

Who will he be against in the final part?

This isn't a full-fledged report as they have done so little report-worthy. But the feeds were blocked for about three and a half hours for the second part of the HOH comp.

Guess who won? Remember, it was Azah and Derek competing to go up against Xavier in the last round.

Will Derek actually WIN a comp? Will it be THIS COMP HE WINS?

Nope.

Azah won. She will go up against Xavier in the final round on the live finale show.

Yes, Derek is whining.

He has officially won absolutely NO comps this season. And, it wasn't because he was throwing them. He told Azah he can do nothing but sit around and eat. I will add in: lay about, dig in his ears, whine, fuss, curse, be catty, stick hands down pants, judge others, be misogynistic and be delusional. His only bragging rights might be cooking and cleaning.

Um. Not the best in table manners

Hands down pants or fingers in ears ...!

BB23: Final Three Celebrate/Videos From Home Show Blog Party - Sept. 24

Good evening! Now, I don't really know how much of this episode I'll actually be live-blogging. It will depend on its content. I'm thinking we will have some flashback segments, sitting around reminiscing over the season, videos from home, talking about others and such. Sure, I will be updating this entry -- refresh the page to get the latest news -- but it sounds like this rare Friday night episode might be mostly filler.

In real life Part One of the final HOH comp has been done. I posted a live feeds report about it. I don't believe that will air until Sunday evening. This here post is in the NO SPOILERS ZONE. If you wish to comment about that comp, please go to my earlier live feeds post.

As always, the real party is in the comments area. Please feel free to drop in and have a brew or two with us!

Sitting through Previously On although I think a lot of tonight will be about previously on ... yes, the announcer just said how they will be looking back on the season.

Of course they're talking about the Kyland uncouth exit last night. Derek is the only one to say he would have beat him up, of course. Thankfully the feast arrives and we don't have to hear Derek talking about how tough he is. @@

A Lucious (Xavier's Afro'd alter-ego) segment. Into how much Xavier and the others liked Christian. Now onto Britini memories. Frenchie talk. Although, now that I "know" Derek so much better than I did back then, I understand why he was drawn to rogue playing.

Now they Azah and Alyssa are talking about the men to whom they're attracted. Talk about "taco meat" hair on the chest.

Onto a cooking segment. Hannah cannot cook, they claim. The traditional diary room segments we didn't previously see are next -- napping, farting, cursing (bleeped), etc. Into the crying there.

Into a segment about getting to know each other. Claire talks about coming out and her sexuality to Derek X. Then into the Christian and Alyssa showmance.

Into pranking clips. All about Tiffany now. Requesting stuff from the Diary Room.

Now the three stand at the Memory Wall talking about the Cookout. An interesting talk about how Blacks are often perceived and how there are so many cultural differences among Blacks themselves as there are with any group. Each person brings something different to the table.

Videos from home. Derek's Mom. Xavier's CAT ... and family. Azah'xs parents. I like how Azah's father talked about her maintaining her integrity while Derek's mother told him to stop cussing.
