What they show for shorter blocked feeds times

For the longer blocked feeds ... like now for the backyard POV comp ... they show an array of adoptable animals. This orangey-yellow thing is new this season. In the past we have had fish cam; one year we had spider cam with tarantulas. The very first season we had chicken coop cam where Chicken George would attend to his chicks. Yes, I'm rambling. I just hope the feeds return soon. I'm pretty sure that Kyle might throw it so he doesn't have to decide how to handle Turner and Joseph when he doesn't use it. If he did save one, that would mean Alyssa would go on the block.

Hmm ... it sounds like Terrance won the veto. Alyssa just told him he "crushed it." Yes, confirmed. Terrance won the Power of Veto for Dyre Fest.

Here's the latest from inside and outside that Big Brother House of Heartbreak Hamsters:

• No, unfortunately the disgusting duo of Kyle and Alyssa continues on.
• They can't have sex in the yard, though.
• That's a good thing.
• I wonder how proud they will be of their actions when they find out TMZ wrote a piece on their 10-second sex on a floatie -- you can check that out at this link.
• The biggest news other than the nominations -- Inside Jasmine/Monte and Outside Turner/Joseph -- is that the Power of Veto comp for those inside the house was held last night.
• When the feeds blockage was on, I just assumed that BB was fixing the broken PortaPotty or something.
• Nope.
• It was the veto comp.
• And, we have a new Veto winner!
• Brittany won the Power of Veto! 
• It was the hold or fold comp, one we haven't seen in ages.
• So, it will be bye-bye Jasmine this week.
• Jasmine is playing the here for her deceased father and a greater purpose card for all it's worth.
• It ain't gonna work.
• But she's had such hard time troubles all game long! She's injured!
• Tough.
• She goes to jury.
• Over in the yard, it continues to be a mess with Terrance believing Kyle.
• By the way -- inside the house they are sure Kyle is doing the right thing and finally turning on Alyssa.
• Yeah, right.
• Terrance and Turner talked. Terrance is crediting the nomination to a misunderstanding of something Turner said to him.
• Terrance claims he will take Turner down if the veto is used.
• Terrance did not let on that Kyle said anything about the Leftovers even though Kyle said EVERYTHING about the Leftovers.
• He told Turner that he is not the target and will be safe.
• I say, what if Joseph wins the veto? How safe is Turner going to be then?
• Terrance told Joseph this is all a big backdoor Kyle plan.
• Argh.
• Their POV comp should be held sometime today.

Big Brother: BB24 Dyre Fest Nominations Bulletin - August 19

Not too pleased with the food choices

 The backyard is not thrilled with their food options. Earlier they were eating bologna sandwiches. Alyssa said she hadn't eaten bologna since she was a kid. Kyle thought it amusing to joke about the spelling and punctuation of the word bologna ... like a kid.

As you know from my previous post, inside the house the nominations were Monte and Jasmine. They are doing the noms separately. I don't know if all of Kyle's betrayal of the Leftovers and pushing to stay off the block himself will have an effect on Terrance. Right now I'm waiting out the live feeds block.

Hmm. The feeds returned to no one talking in the yard. Two cameras on Turner, the other two on Joseph. Both look very sad. I guess Terrance fell for Kyle's stuff? I'm waiting for confirmation other than moods before I commit to saying noms. Waiting ... waiting ...

Terrance indeed nominated Joseph and Turner. Sigh.

Trying to get the tattoos off with alcohol

This is but a brief update. Terrance is having a heck of a time getting the tattoos all off with rubbing alcohol. Thirty-year-old Kyle wanted to know the difference between rubbing alcohol and the alcohol people drink.

Speaking of Kyle, he has totally betrayed the Leftovers. He told ALL to Terrance. Well, with the exception of minimizing his own role a bit. He told him that he is sure that Michael will target Monte in the house. He thinks Terrance has to get Joseph out this week. Argh. Kyle knows that Terrance doesn't want to put up either Turner or Alyssa. That means, to him, that he has to convince him that Joseph should be the target. Now, Terrance has no vote as HOH unless there is a tie. 

The live feeds were blocked for both nominations. In the house, Monte had volunteered to go on the block with the target, Jasmine. No surprises: Michael nominated Monte and Jasmine.

I'm waiting for the yard results. Ah. the Dyre Fest (yard) did NOT have nominations at the same time. Heck, they could have had the cameras on the yard while the house was tied up. I'll post a bulletin once their nominations are done and over. Figures ... the yard is the more unknown although I can't see Terrance putting up either Turner or Alyssa. That leaves Joseph and Kyle.

I guess it's a bit chilly

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House and Yard of Split Up Squirrels:

• I'm glad I went to bed at a quasi-reasonable hour as the live feeds didn't come back on until about 4:30AM EDT.
• House Hamsters: Michael, Brittany, Taylor, Monte and Jasmine
• Yard Hamsters: Terrance, Kyle, Alyssa, Turner and Joseph
• Unfortunately, that keeps the Kyle/Alyssa showmance together.
• Fortunately, they are more in the open in the backyard so perhaps the 10 second sex romps will be controlled.
• They didn't seem to build much in the backyard. They have sleeping bags, air mattresses, a refrigerator and mini-kitchen set-up.
• They have freeze-dried and canned foods ... including Spam.
• There is a tent. Terrance has an air mattress in the tent. He says they have to ring the bell before going up on the balcony. I guess that's considered his HOH room although he seems to be planning to sleep under the tent.
• They have two PortaPotties and one outdoor shower which has only lukewarm water.
• Terrance told Kyle he promised Alyssa that he wouldn't put her on the block and Turner has had his back all through the game.
• His likely nominations will be Kyle and Joseph.
• Inside, Michael told Jasmine he thinks he might have to put her up on the block with Monte. Since there are only five of them in the house, he thinks everybody will play for veto.
• Jasmine immediately said that it's not fair because she is injured and Monte is so strong. She suggests either Brittany or Taylor as they are comp beasts. @@
• Hmm ... Jasmine said that Turner was Terrance's first pick. Michael agreed that Terrance chose Turner before he could.
• Jasmine reminded Michael that she's not there for the money -- she's there for her (deceased) father.
• Oh, geez. My sympathies go out to anyone on the loss of a parent. However, playing the Dead Parent Card is so wrong.
• Back outside, Turner suggests to Terrance he should put the showmance on the block, then put Joseph up if veto is used. Joseph out. Hmm.
• Terrance actually does want Joseph out. His second choice out would be Kyle.
• Terrance told Joseph that Kyle is his target. Joseph seems skeptical and starts promising all kinds of things that would make it valuable to keep him.
• Joseph says that if it's him and Kyle on the block, he knows he would go home.
• Joseph is scrambling saying how his alliance is Terrance, Alyssa and Jasmine.
• His double agent days are catching up to him, I say.
• It all boils down to Michael wants Jasmine out while Terrance wants Joseph out.
• Nominations later today.
