Big Brother 15: New HoH and Nominations Show Blog Party - August 11

Here it is! The second HoH from last Thursday's whirlwind double eviction show! As it airs here on the east coast, I'll update this entry with the major happenings. Refresh the page to get the latest. I'm putting this post up on time, but fear the show is delayed due to golf here. It should start about eight minutes late. (Grr ... but we have been lucky for several weeks, I guess.)

As always, the party is in the comments area. Come join us!

Recap. recap, recap. Some more insight into the Judd eviction.

Finally, halfway into the show, new news. The HoH comp has them "building" a sundae by rolling a ball (cherry) atop a huge sundae in a fake diner set-up. It's done tournament style. HoH will decide the Have Nots for the week.

Jessie won over Helen to move on.
Andy won over GinaMarie.
Amanda won over Spencer.
McCrae over Elissa.
Round one over.

Andy beats Jessie.
McCrae beat Amanda.
Round two over.

It's down to Andy vs. McCrae. ANDY is the new HoH!

He ends up getting volunteers for Have Nots -- Helen, Aaryn, Elissa and then GinaMarie.

Amanda is SO upset that McCrae didn't let her win their round!

Have Nots Vote: cottage cheese and cow peas, turnip and taffy, head cheese and habaneros (sp?) -- this would be for next week as this week they're already eating mung beans and whatever.

They skipped Andy's HoH room reveal and went to Helen campaigning to have Andy put up (his allies) Amanda and McCrae.

Nominations ceremony time. Key order: GinaMarie, Helen, McCrae, Aaryn, Amanda, Elissa. The nominations are Jessie and Spencer. He adores them both, strategic move to secure his own position in the game.

Off Topic: That Was the Week It Was - August 11, 2013

Good morning! If you're looking for my Big Brother live feeds coverage, the latest post can be found right here at this link. This post is my weekly off television topic reflection on the week gone by in both words and photographs I've taken along the way.

Gah. As it is for many summers now, this is my time to be lacking sleep. Unlike some years when I was off from my real job due to knee surgeries, I'm working full time and covering the BB live feeds here on the blog. When I was actually working as blogger for AOL television, this was my cash cow season. Alas, not so much these days. While I do earn some money, it's nothing near the days when I could technically earn more than $100 an hour just writing on AOL. And, this year's cast is very wild, thus getting the Internet audience more worked up than usual. Me? I don't really care who wins the show, I'm just the messenger of the feeds and host of blog parties.

So, I'm in my zombie period at the present. Work, write, work, feed cat, write, work, pet cat, write, work. You get it.

Yes, if I have to ever have another surgery, I'll indeed schedule it in the summer for no other reason than I need the sleep. Local blogger Dan Damon even shouted at me as he drove by me on the street ... "Do you ever sleep?" Sigh. No. Not enough. Not lately.

Anyway ... onto the photos for the week ...

Dreary morning train

In this area, we continue to get more and more rain. Other years, at this time of the summer, most lawns are dried out, leaves are turning brown. This year I've seen green growing where I've never seen it before. That said, I've been enjoying the days without heat waves one after another. Plainfield Train Station

Everything's coming up roses!

Er, well. Maybe not. However, compared to many past years, life is doing okay by me here. I hope it is with you, too! Roosevelt Avenue, Plainfield.

Big Brother 15: Live Feeds Saturday Overnight Into Sunday - August 10-11

Match made in a habitrail

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of People Who Say LOL Out Loud:
  • As you know from my last post, Andy won the Power of Veto.
  • The theme of the veto comp was "Classic Big Brother."
  • The comp itself was named Blood, Bolts and Bandages. The players all have different colored t-shirts touting that.
  • It was one of those comps in which they had to choose to stay or fold.
  • There was a lot of candy in the comp, but they weren't allowed to bring any inside the house.
  • Knowing BB's budget dollar store games and activities, maybe they want to save it for next year?
  • Spencer seems particularly stressed after the comp.
  • Aaryn told Jessie not to worry, she's safe.
  • Hmm.
  • Truth or fiction?
  • Aaryn told Jessie if she did stay and won HoH, she could go after GinaMarie and that would be okay. After all, "GM is a sweet kid, but she's affecting my game."
  • Heh. Now Aaryn is throwing GinaMarie under that reality bus to people with one foot out of the door!
  • Aaryn told Andy that Jessie wants to put up Amanda and McCrae if she stays and wins HoH.
  • They agree Jessie needs to go home.
  • Ah, so the answer is .... fiction!
  • Andy said he won't use the veto on his nominations.
  • Andy thinks they should make both Spencer and Jessie feel safe this week.
  • He does say that Spencer is shady.
  • McCrae told Amanda she's "kind of insensitive."
  • KIND OF?!?!?!
  • Amanda thinks McCrae is just trying to start fights with her.
  • @@
  • She thinks McCrae blames her for EVERYTHING.
  • I say, as it should be.
  • Elissa said she doesn't want to go to jury with these guys. She feels traumatized.
  • As would I. I feel traumatized just watching them at times.
  • Andy told Amanda that, while he thinks he wants Jessie out this week, he feels he needs to weigh the options -- think of the pros and cons of keeping one or the other.
  • Hmm. Not like he has a vote or anything, right?
  • Amanda and GinaMarie have both tried out for American Idol in the past.
  • Yikes.
  • Right now, it still looks like the house will probably vote out Jessie.
  • Bit it's a long time until Thursday.

Big Brother 15: Live Feeds - PoV Winner - August 10

POV has been won!

Andy won PoV. He's on a streak.

No.

He's not streaking.

That's something else entirely.

Big Brother 15: Live Feeds Saturday into the Evening - August 10

Such a good look for her!

Here's what's gone down today inside that Big Brother House of Loonie Losers:
  • The hamsters started their day on inside lockdown due to the PoV comp being erected in the yard.
  • Heh. I said "erected" and wasn't talking about McCrae.
  • Oops. My apologies. I had a Beavis and Butthead moment.
  • Andy really wants the Zingbot to come. Others might regret it if he does.
  • Amanda called Aaryn fat and McCrae called her on it. He told her that's how eating disorders get started.
  • Um, not quite. But no one should be calling anyone fat. Aaryn's not fat. Spencer is a bit hefty, but I think he's lost quite a bit of weight since entering the house.
  • McCrae has been speaking up to Amanda when she says stupid or mean things lately.
  • She doesn't like that.
  • How ever will this "marriage" work out?
  • Bwahahahahaha!
  • Elissa, Andy and Helen talked about making a big move and shaking things up ... next week.
  • I won't hold my breath.
  • I wouldn't advise you to hold yours, either.
  • Helen, Amanda and Elissa were the three extras (no MVP nom this week) chosen to play in the comp.
  • GinaMarie told Aaryn she would never put her on the block.
  • Meanwhile, Aaryn has been praying that someone, anyone, would put GinaMarie on the block. But she won't do it herself. She can't.
  • Aaryn told Helen that Amanda said she doesn't think Helen has any loyalty towards her (Aaryn).
  • Helen told Aaryn she loves her.
  • Oh, gag me right now.
  • At least she didn't compare her to Janelle again.
  • Andy has pretty much decided to put GinaMarie on the block if veto is used.
  • He says that if Jessie wins veto, GM will probably go home.
  • Helen told Elissa she doesn't want to push Andy too hard to make the big move or he'll go to the other side.
  • Hate to tell ya, Helen ... but he's already there.
  • Now Andy is scared to put GinaMarie up if veto is used.
  • @@
  • (Then put up AMANDA, Andy!)
  • Uh-oh. Andy told McCrae and Amanda he'd rather keep Jessie in the house because Spencer has lied to him.
  • Not that he has a vote, mind you.
  • The Have Nots are complaining that you need butter to prepare mung beans and they aren't allowed to have butter.
  • I have no clue about mung beans other than they sound too much like dung beans and I don't want any.
  • Aaryn doesn't know how anyone could like Candice.
  • That doesn't surprise me.
  • Elissa and Jessie, on the other hand, thought GinaMarie was hateful when Candice gave her speech.
  • I personally thought that GM should have had a penalty nom for a catfight on the live show.
  • But no one listens to me.
  • Right now as I post this, the live feeds are blocked with trivia. So the PoV comp must be on.
  • I'll report back on the winner once it's known.

Mr. On the Block Weekly

Big Brother 15: Live Feeds Friday Overnight into Saturday, Noms - August 9-10

The future Mr. Amanda? Bwahahaha!

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of As the Stomach Turns:
  • As I predicted, Andy's nominations were predictable -- Spencer and Jessie.
  • The target is Jessie.
  • Andy's still not sure what he'll do if Jessie wins the veto. He'll have plenty of time to decide as the veto comp is today, the ceremony isn't until Monday.
  • Credit to Jessie for saying "They must really hate me, so I must be doing something right" -- after the live feeds returned post nominations.
  • Helen and Andy agree that Jessie cannot know she's the target. They must tell her she's safe.
  • I think she knows she's the target.
  • Amanda and McCrae think Helen needs to go soon as she'll put them on the block her first opportunity.
  • Aaryn would prefer to vote out Spencer over Jessie.
  • Amanda said she can't do that.
  • @@
  • Aaryn wants to name the alliance she's in with Andy, McCrae and Amanda.
  • Watching the "friendly" power struggle between the power players is a bit interesting. You've got McCrae/Amanda (mostly Amanda) vs. Helen (and a bit of Elissa thrown in). On the surface, all of them are in an alliance with each other.
  • Then you have the peripheral players who have attachments to both of the major player teams -- Andy, Aaryn and Spencer. Jessie and GinaMarie are on the outs with all, but just don't know it.
  • If the peripheral players can live through the ultimate smackdown when a power player goes out, they might be in a very good position towards the end game.
  • Amanda told Aaryn she can't trust Helen.
  • She also pointed out that each person has someone they know what they'll do -- she has Elissa, Aaryn has GinaMarie, Andy has Spencer.
  • Hmm. I don't think Amanda can really predict Elissa.
  • I also think no one can control or predict GinaMarie.
  • And, what about that Helen? If ANYONE has influence on Elissa, it's Helen.
  • Andy continues to play both sides, now tempering it a bit to Helen. He told Amanda he's sure it's too early to think of getting Helen out.
  • Helen told Andy that she really hopes GinaMarie wins America's Favorite at the end of the season because she really needs the money.
  • I say, "Tough, no way. Get a job if you need money!"
  • I know. I'm heartless.
  • Jessie and Spencer talked about how Elissa doesn't need the money.
  • In previous talks, they've all said Helen doesn't need the money.
  • I again say, "If you need money that bad, don't waste what you have on lottery tickets, don't waste time on reality shows ... GET A JOB, A JOB THAT PAYS THE BILLS."
  • Andy held a Skittles party in the HoH room.
  • Now, I could get behind that!
  • Uh-oh. Hamsters on sugar!
  • Amanda told McCrae that they've controlled every nomination, every eviction.
  • Well, SHE has. I'm not sure what McCrae's been doing.
  • That doesn't mean that they won't lose it all.
  • They're worried that Helen is too close to Jessie.
  • But they can control that. Right?
  • The evening ended with sex under the covers and all else sleeping. I don't want to see that.

Soul searching? Maybe she'll find one.

Big Brother 15: Live Feeds Friday Daytime - August 9

NOT a Janelle, definitely NOT

Although Helen told Aaryn that she's like a Janelle, I don't believe that Helen believes that. That's part of her personal social strategy to build people up and make them think she values them.

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Boastful Bigots:
  • Elissa, GinaMarie and Aaryn compared notes -- Judd told each of them he'd like a final two deal with them.
  • McCrae moped some more about Judd being voted out.
  • Helen apologized to him for it, saying it did have to be done.
  • Eventually, as the day wore on, McCrae admitted he had as much of a part in Judd's exit as the others did.
  • Andy, although still loyal to his own alliance, formed a sub-alliance with Spencer as he (Andy) knows that he's odd man out with two duos (McCrae/Amanda and Helen/Elissa).
  • After Andy left, Spencer mumbled to himself that Andy must not realize being in an alliance with him is the kiss of death.
  • Spencer's right -- his allies have been being evicted one by one.
  • Amanda, Andy and McCrae talked about possibly using Helen as a replacement nominee (scenario: Jessie and Spencer on the block, Spencer wins veto), then blindsiding Jessie by telling her Helen is the target.
  • Helen, as shrewd social game-wise as she is, is still not realizing that Andy runs to Amanda with everything she says!
  • Helen told Andy she thinks time is running out to get Amanda/McCrae out.
  • @@
  • Andy told her that he thinks they'll be loyal to them (himself, Helen) until the end.
  • Andy told Helen that McCrae should go before Amanda. Helen agrees.
  • Oh noes!
  • The reasoning is that McCrae is better in comps.
  • Well, they have a point there.
  • Then he went and told Amanda that Helen did discuss taking them down, but way down the line.
  • At least he fibbed a teensy bit.
  • McCrae said he'll be really upset if he gets out and finds out Judd was NOT the MVP.
  • Let's send him some tissues.
  • Helen told Andy she does NOT want to go on the block and, if she does somehow this week, he better not give her grief about voting out Amanda or McCrae the next.
  • Aaryn is upset that Amanda told Judd on the way out that she had no idea he was going to be evicted.
  • Amanda must be thinking jury votes. She also mentioned she had mended fences with Candice. In Candice's speech, she said she liked everybody but "you two." That would be Aaryn and GinaMarie.
  • Andy told GinaMarie he won't be putting her on the block.
  • He's still planning the Spencer/Jessie nominations with the target on Jessie because she "flips" to the power.
  • He told Spencer he'd be safe and that he feared if he put GinaMarie up as a pawn, she would be too unpredictable.
  • Andy told Aaryn that he wants to blindside Jessie. She's not thrilled with it because she just saved her and feels Jessie will be loyal to her.
  • Andy told her not for long because she flips.
  • Aaryn thinks Jessie will have a breakdown.
  • Andy told her that's why he wants to blindside her, make it appear she's not the target.
  • Amanda thinks their (her/McCrae) biggest obstacle to getting to the final three would be Jessie and Helen.
  • Amanda is getting suspicious of McCrae.
  • "Paranoia strikes deep, into your heart it will creep ..."
  • She thinks he doesn't trust her since Judd went.
  • Then she went onto talk about their life of bliss together after they leave the house.
  • @@
  • Nominations will be later tonight.

Big Brother 15: Live Feeds Since Double Eviction, New HoH - August 8-9

Not a flattering garment!

The excitement didn't end with the show ... after all, another HoH needed to be crowned before the night was out. Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of No More Frog Gigging:
  • After the feeds returned ...
  • GinaMarie kept going on and on about speaking up to defend herself (to Candice) about living at home with her mother because it's so expensive to live in NYC.
  • It IS expensive, but Staten Island is nowhere near as expensive as Manhattan or Brooklyn.
  • I'm SO tired of hearing GM say, "I'm from New York, I say what I want."
  • Let's stop that stereotype right now! She is NOT representative of anyone other than her own self. Geez.
  • Helen and Amanda said that Judd had to go because he wanted to work with McCrae and get rid of the girls.
  • Amanda is sure Judd was the MVP nominating her.
  • They all think Judd knew the game well and was good at it.
  • In her going on about Candice not even knowing what she has, GinaMarie talked about her car and room, referring to them as a piece of excrement (she didn't say that, I did). She ended her tirade with "I'm the better person. I have blond hair and blue eyes."
  • Argh. Fake blond and annoying knows no color!
  • Amanda told Aaryn she will always be safe with them and they definitely trust her.
  • McCrae actually cried. I think his Life With Amanda Show is crashing in and he realizes that the Judd eviction may have been a mistake ... especially for his own game.
  • Jessie told Helen that she (Jessie) had told Aaryn that she would never target her (Aaryn) if she saved her.
  • Um. That's not why Aaryn saved her. It was due to Amanda and Helen convincing her she had to put Judd up.
  • They're worried about what Julie said about people coming back.
  • McCrae said a jury member has never come back.
  • He's right. Except for that Rachel 24-hour return, none have ever come back to actually return to the game.
  • But I say "Expect the unexpected."
  • The feeds were blocked for the HoH comp.
  • Whoa! ANDY is the new HoH.
  • He will NOT be giving up his room to others.
  • Good.
  • Unfortunately, he will be probably nominating whomever Helen and Amanda tell him to.
  • The targets are unlikely to be Amanda, McCrae, Helen, Elissa for sure.
  • He had to select Have Nots (using the mung beans and whatever we voted on a few weeks back).
  • GinaMarie, Helen and Aaryn were chosen. Elissa volunteered.
  • Amanda cried because she can't win anything ever.
  • Andy told her that her strategic game is flawless.
  • I wouldn't say flawless, but she's still ruling the roost.
  • Along with Helen, mind you.
  • Andy said he was hoping for a letter from his mother, but she didn't sign the release.
  • Well, she apparently did sign the release and that's who sent him the HoH letter.
  • McCrae told Spencer he thinks that he needs to start playing the game for himself. Apparently he had that wake-up call when Amanda "took Judd away" from him.
  • Aaryn got a basket of goodies for her short-lived HoH reign.
  • Andy told Amanda he will probably nominate Spencer and Jessie with GinaMarie as the back-up.
  • Spencer thinks they should just put his name on one chair.
  • They all could hear the applause when Judd left the house and thinks America really liked him.
  • So, of course, he MUST have been the MVP.
  • The backyard opened up and, as I get this posted, lots of small talk, booze drinking and cigarette smoking going on.

What have we done?

Missing Judd already

Where you go, there you are

Hmm ... I've been trying all season to read this tattoo under Amanda's right breast. Um. Okay. Weird.

Big Brother 15: Live Double Eviction, HOH Show Blog Party - August 8

Welp, it's here! The first double eviction of the season! As the show airs here on the East Coast, I'll update this entry with the major happenings. Refresh the page to get the latest news.

But, as always, the real party is in the comments area. Come join us! I do ask that you PLEASE remember this is show we're watching for entertainment. The cast is not in our own personal lives -- take some deep breaths and don't let them get to you. For us, it's just a show, nothing to get all that angry about ... please!

Julie announced to us that both evicted hamsters will go to jury.

Dang, they're wasting a lot of time on the Amanda eviction possibility.

Julie tells them the jury will be nine and one of the nominees will be the first jury member. Then she tells them double eviction. And "just because you're on the jury doesn't mean you're out of the game."

The speeches -- Candice calls out GinaMarie, CAT FIGHT! Spencer, quick. Amanda, same as last week.

The vote:
McCrae -- Candice
Aaryn -- Candice
Helen -- Candice
Jessie -- Candice
Elissa -- Candice
Andy -- Candice
Judd -- Candice

Unanimous, Candice is out (as I predicted). Julie can't give her any news as she's going to jury.

HoH Comp - Summer School, items and events, answers are "more" or "less."
Elissa out.
Andy and Jessie out.
Aaryn won ... doesn't seem all that thrilled when announced.

Julie said no more worries, MVP twist is over.
Aaryn's nominations: Jessie and Spencer

Veto comp (not similar to last night's practice) -- Andy and Amanda chosen to play with them. They have toolboxes and must complete a puzzle.

Aaryn won PoV!

She decides that JESSIE comes off the block!!! Judd goes on the block. Sigh. She said that she was told she'd go home next if she didn't do that.

Spencer, same plea. Judd, love ya all loyal, vote how you want to.

The vote:
Amanda -- Judd
McCrae -- Judd
GinaMarie -- Judd
Andy -- Judd
Helen -- Judd
Elissa -- Judd
Jessie -- Judd

Sigh. Judd's gone and mostly because Amanda thinks he was MVP.

Big Brother 15: Live Feeds Wednesday into Thursday - August 7-8

Practicing for a comp

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Whacked Wannabees:
  • Helen doesn't think Amanda will backdoor her because she needs her.
  • I say, for now.
  • Jessie knows that she's a lone wolf at this point and is studying hard for any memory comps.
  • Aaryn told Andy that he's in the best position in the house.
  • He just might be.
  • Jessie's attachment to Judd is wearying him.
  • Aaryn is tiring of GinaMarie and says she needs to go.
  • Amanda thinks Aaryn makes up a lot of stuff to stir things up.
  • Amanda is sure Judd was the MVP putting her on the block this past two weeks.
  • Helen trashtalked Jessie to Amanda and Andy.
  • Oh my. It looks like everyone needs to go!
  • Although they're finally thinking it might be a double eviction (credit: Amanda), they don't know that we've heard Jury will start and that Julie Chen hinted the MVP twist may be over.
  • After an indoor lockdown, they got a practice comp in the yard.
  • They have to roll a ball down a plank and into one of two receptacles on either side at the end.
  • I'm sure the real comp will look a lot fancier than the practice one.
  • Uh-oh. Aaryn's doing well at it.
  • Amanda caught on to the double eviction as they were told everyone needs to practice, even the current HoH. Then Judd picked up on the same idea.
  • Oh my. Now Spencer's getting good at it!
  • GinaMarie in her role of the Oh So Important HoH, held meetings with everyone to "make sure the vote will go the right way."
  • Jessie balked. She said she knows what her vote will be and didn't want to discuss it.
  • The feeds were down an extended time for the hamsters to have a pizza and booze party ... it must be the halfway point.
  • Why does it feel like a lifetime already?
  • Amanda is worried there will be a tie vote.
  • As much as I think they should get her out for the betterment of everybody's game, I don't think so.
  • I think it will be an overwhelming Candice vote out.
  • GinaMarie gave McCrae and Amanda the HoH room for the night to make up for the night originally intended. Amanda had to keep tanning that night.
  • GinaMarie wants everyone to come to her at 5:30 before the show to confirm that Candice is being voted out.
  • @@
  • Gosh, give someone a bit of power and ...!
  • Jessie really really wants to win HoH. Do you think she can?
  • She pretty much needs to win it.
  • McCrae once again had to try to get Amanda to cool it when she started giving Aaryn a rough time, telling her that if there's a tie it had to be Aaryn voting against her as Helen never would.
  • @@
  • We all know that Aaryn really really clashes with Candice. Now, if Amanda keeps it up and she votes Amanda to go ... well, that would mean Amanda's actions did herself in.
  • Amanda thinks McCrae treats her like a child.
  • Well, if the shoe fits ...
  • Jessie told Helen she will be voting with the house since no one wants to take her up on her plan to keep Candice.
  • Hmm.
  • At this point, she's created enough grief for herself that she might as well vote for Amanda to go. The damage is done.
  • GinaMarie dreams of marrying Nick.
  • @@
  • Andy told fellow Goof Troop members (Judd, McCrae and Amanda) that he was told they couldn't use that name as there's a copyright infringement with it.
  • They tried to come up with a new name, but they were interrupted.
  • Of course, it seems like Judd really isn't a part of it anymore anyway. Amanda is sure he's the one putting her up. McCrae thinks he's "shady."
  • Amanda thinks that if she and McCrae were on the block, she would stay.
  • McCrae thinks he would stay.
  • I agree with McCrae.

Big Brother 15: MVP nom, PoV Show Blog Party

Well, well, well. There seems to be some scuttlebutt on the Internet that (a) the remaining hamsters will go to jury -- including the two from tomorrow night (b) the MVP twist might be ending.

As tonight's show airs, I'll update this entry with the major happenings. Refresh the page to see the latest! The real party will be down in the comments ... come join us!

After Jessie drama and McCrae/Amanda drama, we get to the MVP reveal -- Amanda. McCrae isn't surprised. The two additional PoV players are Spencer and Judd. GinaMarie chooses Aaryn to host the comp.

PoV Comp - The yard is done up like a frog pond. It's a comp where everyone wins something, but those staying in longer can trade prizes.

GM out first, got the veto.
Amanda out, got doggy cone of shame. She traded for the veto.
After a cat fight with Amanda, Candice is out. She got a Bahamas vacation, traded for the veto. Spencer out, got 50 Shades of Orange (tanning), he traded for the vacation. Judd wins over Jessie. Jessie got $5,000, traded for the veto. Judd got a clown-itard.He traded it for the 5,000.

So ...
Amanda gets an orange tan.
Spencer goes to the Bahamas.
Judd got five grand.
Candice got a clown-itard.
GinaMarie got a cone of shame (Elizabethan collar).
Jessie has the PoV.

Veto Meeting -- Jessie saves herself. GM puts Spencer on the block.

Big Brother 15: Live Feeds Tuesday into Wednesday - August 6-7

Yeah, there is something wrong ...

... and I call the something wrong recruiting these hamsters instead of letting the folks who really want to be in that nuthouse get in there. I don't think they can promise us things will be "back to normal" soon. What's normal? How does "normal" apply in the context of this season? It doesn't! They LIE! Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of the Abnormal:
  • Judd said Elissa asked him if he's ever acted. Oh my. The guy could often use subtitles on the live feeds because he mumbles and doesn't move his lips hardly at all. He couldn't be an actor.
  • He might want to look into being a ventriloquist, though!
  • Elissa is still holding her grudge against Aaryn. While I personally have my own grudge against Aaryn, if I were in the house and not "in with the in crowd," I think I'd be mending fences just in view of the end game.
  • Jessie admitted to Helen that Candice is sure she's going home. Jessie thinks she herself will go home next week.
  • But, I ask ... who will be the second out the door this week?
  • Bwahaha! They're still not thinking so much along the lines of a double eviction this week!
  • Helen told Jessie that Candice will be the first person she'll actually miss who has left the house.
  • I can see that.
  • On a side note: I see in the comments that people think there's a larger goal of jury this season. We've seen that the last few seasons. For folks like Jessie (unemployed), McCrae (pizza guy), Andy (two jobs part-time not earning a lot) ... that extra $750 a week stipend for basically an extended vacation without stress is like a pot of gold. Due to their locale, it's possible Spencer and Judd don't earn that much working per week. Plus, those making jury seem to be a bit more a part of "BB History."
  • Judd told Jessie that he really likes Helen.
  • Both Judd and Jessie are more willing to work with Helen and Elissa than they are with Amanda and McCrae.
  • Some joked that if GinaMarie were to win a special power, she'd have to ask everybody how to use it as she would be so confused.
  • Andy told Helen that he trusts her more than he does Judd.
  • I notice he didn't tell her that he trusts her more than he does Amanda.
  • They all think Candice is a good cook.
  • That doesn't mean they'll keep her in the house, mind you.
  • GinaMarie had an outright panic attack hissy fit over having to write a blog entry. She's either functionally illiterate or perhaps has a learning disability that has never been addressed.
  • That said, GinaMarie has very low self-esteem on the whole. While she talks all bravado and loud, she doesn't seem to think she can do anything well.
  • Jessie has her own self-esteem issues and handles it by desperately seeking approval from others.
  • Psychiatric Help: 5 cents ... as per Lucy VanPelt.
  • I have my own issues, probably enough for a magazine subscription! But, that said, I wouldn't be in that house.
  • Helen, in particular, pep-talked GM. Amanda also tried but she's not as good at it as Helen.
  • They had actual fun with the HoH camera this week, unlike last week.
  • Then we had technical difficulties for a long, long time. It started out with the NO SIGNAL bit I screen-capped last week, then went into the message above with the smaller cameras working.
  • Aaryn feels she can't trust Amanda now.
  • Well, duh.
  • Who can really trust her other than McCrae?
  • Candice thinks that GinaMarie doesn't like her for personal reasons.
  • Well, duh.
  • Jessie tried for another round of "vote Amanda out" only to be met with failure.
  • Helen said Amanda has done her no wrong.
  • I say Amanda has done her no wrong ... YET.
  • She will, though. She will.
  • They held the bachelorette party for Amanda. Everybody except Candice was in attendance at one point or another -- including the guys.
  • Amanda claims that McCrae will be moving to Florida to live with her.
  • Yeah, let's see how long that lasts!
  • Jessie has realized that Judd has been throwing her under the bus.
  • Well, duh.
  • Jessie keeps trying different avenues in her Get Amanda Out efforts.
  • But, at this time, she's probably only harming her own "life" in the house.
  • I personally agree with her -- Amanda out would be beneficial for most remaining in the house.
  • But it ain't gonna happen.
  • At least not in the first eviction this week.
  • We can't predict the second.
  • We can only hope ...

Big Brother 15: Live Feeds Into Tuesday Morning - August 5-6

Too bad it will fade before Thursday

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Spuyten Duyvil (NOT to be confused with NYC!):
  • When Jessie told Amanda she looked black, Amanda replied, "I look like a migrant worker. I look like a slave."
  • When Aaryn laughed and said that was racist, Amanda replied,"It's not racist if it's true and it's not sexual harassment if you're good-looking."
  • Tsk, tsk.
  • I personally don't recall ever seeing any depictions of slaves with goggle marks on their faces. I have no clue why she brought up the word "slave" at all.
  • GinaMarie was allowed to remove her cone of shame. That was only to be on until Monday after PoV ceremony.
  • Candice must wear the clown-itard until the end of the week (or eviction).
  • Spencer thinks that if Helen talked to her mother in English, she'd be forced to learn it.
  • Helen has no desire to do that.
  • I'd say it's none of Spencer's business. And, as long as Helen is in this house of weirdos, it might be for the best that she doesn't understand English.
  • Now Amanda thinks she looks like a coal miner. Yes, that's better. They might have goggle marks.
  • Elissa claimed that Jessie said girls are always jealous of her because she's so pretty.
  • @@
  • Not that she's unattractive, mind you. I just think the combination of being so needy and insecure added in with "I'm so pretty, all are jealous" takes her down a dangerous road in life.
  • Elissa helped GinaMarie with her hair dye.
  • Amanda is sure that Judd's the MVP putting her on the block. She told McCrae they need to get rid of him.
  • Aaryn told Jessie that she doesn't want her family embarrassed by anything she's said or done in the house. She said she's dreading talking to her agent.
  • Um. Well.
  • Too late now, girl!
  • Aaryn is tiring of GinaMarie always being "on."
  • She did have one of the best lines of the night when she told Judd that "GinaMarie is not an escape. She's like a trip to the insane asylum." -- when they were discussing how there is no privacy or escape in the house.
  • I actually agree with her on that one.
  • They pointed out how GinaMarie acts like a kid all the time and she's one of the "older" ones in the house. They're right!
  • Judd and Aaryn talked about Andy running to tell Amanda everything.
  • Helen made dinner for all. McCrae and Amanda slept through it.
  • Aha, someone finally thought of a double eviction coming "soon." It was McCrae and Spencer and they're not realizing how soon it will be!
  • McCrae thinks if it happens one of the following will get the boot: himself, Amanda, Helen or Elissa.
  • Amanda, please.
  • Thank you.
  • Although I'm pretty sure the cause is moot at this point, Candice is campaigning to save herself. She's going for Helen, Elissa, Andy and Jessie.
  • She told Judd she would cook him bacon every day if he keeps her in the house.
  • Now, previous hamster Adam Poch would have jumped all over that deal!
  • Aaryn and GinaMarie are still steadfast on a Candice exit, mostly for personal hate reasons instead of looking at the big picture of the end game.

A clown and friends

Ew. She's touching Spencer!

Big Brother 15: Live Feeds Into Monday Afternoon, PoV Meeting - August 5

Are we boring you, McCrae?

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Dubious Duos:
  • Jessie still thinks there might be hope for her keep Candice, evict Amanda plan.
  • I don't think so. It would be great if they opened their eyes and went for it while it would be a sure thing.
  • But hamsters aren't known for their intelligence.
  • Judd told Spencer that he'd like a final five with him, McCrae, Amanda and Andy.
  • He also told Spencer that they can't go with Helen and Elissa because he thinks they're trying for an all girls final four/five.
  • Judd is going to play up to Jessie to influence her vote (change to Candice out) but he "refuses to go down on her sinking ship."
  • He's referring to the game, of course. But, it also might have another meaning.
  • We won't go there.
  • Judd thinks Helen should go before Elissa because Helen is good at the game while Elissa has nothing.
  • Judd told Amanda it's more important to get Helen or Elissa out before Jessie.
  • He told Amanda that he thinks Elissa got MVP.
  • Later, Spencer told her he thought America was the MVP nominating her.
  • Amanda's reaction when she realized the ramifications?
  • "Gee, thanks a lot, Spencer!"
  • Amanda also had a memorable line later in the day while talking to Jessie.
  • "I'm not an evil person."
  • Bwahahahaha!
  • McCrae and Amanda think that Judd just wants the girls out.
  • GinaMarie did indeed decide to put Spencer on the block when Jessie takes herself off.
  • To give him a bit of a heads up without telling him outright (against BB rules), she made a show of calling in Spencer, Judd and Andy separately to her Queen's Quarters.
  • She told Spencer that she had narrowed it down to a few people and, if he goes up, he will be safe.
  • She told Andy and Judd that she's putting Spencer up but wants it to look like she's warning them they might go up.
  • Um. Okay.
  • A sidenote: If I hear GinaMarie one more time go on about winning the PoV comps are nothing as it's all about HoH, I just might implode. Just because she won a HoH doesn't diminish those who win PoVs.
  • Now Jessie thinks Judd is her "dude."
  • @@
  • Elissa still wants to vote out Amanda, but will go with the house on the Candice ouster.
  • Amanda told Jessie it's too early in the game to shake things up.
  • (I say she said that because that's because the shake up would be getting Amanda out!)
  • Judd reported to Amanda that Jessie will vote for Candice to go because he cuddled with her.
  • @@
  • I lost some respect for him with this move. He knows how needy and fragile she is.
  • :-(
  • Elissa prepared a cake for McCrae and Amanda.
  • That doesn't mean she likes them.
  • I think it means she likes puttering around in the kitchen out of drama.
  • Aaryn told Judd he can stop being nice to Jessie now.
  • @@
  • Aaryn is upset because GinaMarie isn't consulting her about nominations.
  • So, now we have Candice, Amanda and Spencer on the block.
  • It will be Candice leaving ... in a clown-itard.

Going for the gold ... er, orange

Oh, geez
