So far, recap, recap and a happy Dick. Oh, all of the cryptic comments by Jen as she left! Jessica is wondering what she should know. Amber is happy Jameka is still around. They're still congratulating each other on Jen's exit.
Now they're re-celebrating Jessica being HOH. Zach feels safe, heh. If God doesn't think Amber should get the HOH, it's not meant for her. @@
Amber is justifying her loss by the fact God meant NEXT week she'll win HOH! Jameka thinks it might be a great week for her because she's close to both Jessica and Eric. Amber thinks Jessica might put Daniele and Dick up. She loves God.
Eric is flirting with Jessica. The woobie listens.
Eric tells us he has no game when it comes to women. But compared to an Ogre and a 44-year old, he's the best left in the house.
It's time for Jessica's HOH room! Excitement galore. Dick thinks the cheerleading squad is ugly. She got her Booyah shirt.
Now Jessica is trying to find out what Jen wanted her to know. Amber said it's that Eric has a girlfriend and there's a lot more to it. Jessica doesn't like cheats and looks pensive. Amber tells Eric, too. Eric looks uncomfortable, but then he does that a lot.
Eric does much work on Amber, tells her there is a relationship -- it comes and goes. He tells Amber he has tried not to cross lines in either direction. He wants to talk to Jessica. He tells us that everything he's done towards her in the house has been true and honest.
So he talks to Jessica. She seems quasi-okay with things.
It's time for Dick and Daniele to argue! He wants her to take vitamins. "He wants to be all parenty and stuff!" Zach picked up enough to get an "I'm on your side Dick dig" to Daniele. Dick asked her if she ever took any responsibility for her part in their break-up. He never left, he never abandoned her.
Y'know, I don't like it when the show airs their dirty family laundry.
Good, Jameka and Jessica talking in the HOH room. Jameka suggests putting up Dick and Daniele. Jessica is acting like she might do that ... most likely for the benefit of Jameka. She tells Jameka she doesn''t know what she'll do, but she won't put Jameka up. Jessica says that Daniele is a bigger threat to her than Dick is.
Luxury comp time -- jessica gets to pick the teams and goes for girls and guys. She also participates. They have wetsuits and a sudsy thing in the backyard. The prize is a Big Brother shopping spree. They must get into their birthday suits. Amber thinks her boyfriend will kill her. Daniele said she's modest and her father is in the house.
Clothes have letters which spell things like toga and Jenitard. They have to put on the clothes with the letter and hang it on the line. I personally would have abstained. The guys are separated from the girls, but still...!
Heehee, the guys spelled goat while the girls saw toga in it, as did Dick. The guys are totally dazed. The girls are going at it with a final of bunny suits! Shrieks of joy! They win! They have two minutes to put on as many of the new articles as they can. Inside the house there are racks and racks. The guys watch wearing robes and yell advice.
Amber says she's not as small as she looks. Jessica took the mannequin. I think it was her anyway.
OMG -- Amber thinks she has the hair and the face, and the body to be a top model. She tells us through tears in the DR that it's the future for her. Jameka gives her encouragemnt. Eww.
Zach pleads his case to Eric and Jessica, tells them to put up Dick and Daniele.
America's Player - Who should Eric get nominated? He's thrilled with the choice of Amber and guarantees it.
He talks to Jessica, tells her that Amber doesn't trust them. Jessica tells Eric that Jameka suggested Dick and Daniele. She knows her nominations didn't hurt her the last time, but has to think out her strategy.
America's Player -- Which houseguest should Eric kiss? (He blew that this morning with Jessica!) I want him to kiss Zach or Dick!
It's time for the HOH nominations thoughts. I love how the HG has to say it's the job of the HOH each week like we don't know. Jessica tells us she has to put up two people who aren't a threat to her this week, maybe take out a power player?

Time for the cermony. Jessica says the game gets harder each week because she gets closer to people each week. She said some people have been working with her, others have been since day one and others haven't been there for her at all or too little.

Nominated Zach and Amber, feels that he hasn't been with her the entire time, nor has Amber. Zach tells us he actually has to work this week to stay in the house. Aha, he admits floating!

Welcome, M - Nominations are done in the house on Fridays, but air on TV on Sundays. They blocked the whole comp to the live feeds, so we didn't see it, just parts of the clothes shopping spree.
Anon @ 9:27 -- They often eat together, Dick cooks more often than not, but the others take a hand in the cooking, too. Sometimes one is off sulking, but it's usually a group event. And, yes, viewers voted the first year.

Okay, I loved tonight's show for two reasons.
1. BB finally showed Amber in her true light! Delusional baby!
2. BB finally showed Dani in her true light (at least in this house/this summer)! Spoiled and whiney. Sorry, but I call it as I see it. Maybe just me, but I see it that way. Since we know Eric and Jesss had their first kiss this morning, I thought that BB was trying to capitalize on it by suddenly making this what we need to vote for... the folks who just watch the show, which I assume is a majority, don't know about the fact that they've already kissed. Not that it would make sense for them to pay Eric for something he'd already done, but that it would capitalize on the showmance, which I'm sure they were totally encouraging in the DR?
The AP thing is such a scam for this episode. Trying to give Eric credit for something he's already done? BS. No way am I voting for Jess, not that I think our votes actually count. I voted for Dick, on the 1% chance they do. It makes me wonder if BB warned him what the next AP task would be so they could get the footage. I'd put nothing past them at this point.
Eric's talking to Amber about the Jen comment was so shifty. You could tell he was lying. He said to Dick ages ago that he has a "situation" outside the house that he isn't going to mess up, that he'd flirt, but he'd never cross a line. I think he crossed a line by smooching Jess, but I guess maybe the AP dollars are worth it.
I'm watching BB After Dark, and I am getting to the point where I cannot stand the sound of Eric's ongoing, boring mouth. He drones on and on, and it's clear he loves the sound of his own voice.

Let's talk about this luxury comp.....I see no benefit to doing a comp. that requires the HG to be naked except for the cheap thrills of the camera crew and maybe other HG. There were so many other ways they could have placed letters(bottom of tub, on balls hidden in the tub). It just seems inappropriate to me to have a comp. that REQUIRES the HG be naked to win. I am sure the DR told Jess. she needed to divide teams by sex.
Although I think Eric kissed Jess(several times) very willingly, if BB believes he has a gf why encourage him to cheat on her? Maybe they talked to him about the task ahead of time or they are hoping
America chooses Dick/Zach just for laughs. They don't stipulate what kind of kiss so I'm sure it will be done in a joking manner.
If Eric using the Veto it will appear that he is undermining Jess's decision--not a good thing.

Just like they don't care that by filming Amber totally naked the pictures are now all over the internet for her family and daughter to see. I mean to show how bad BB is this year, they proved it even more by having a competition that required the hgs to be naked.
There was no reason for a naked competition, nor is there a reason for bb camera people to zoom in on houseguests getting in or out of showers when they are completely alone! If there were 2 people showering together, or even just in the bathroom together, then yes, for gameplay talk, film it. But look how often they have filmed, and zoomed in on naked body parts of the houseguests when they are alone!

And maybe he does want a little action while he's there and to make it ok with his g/f on the outside, maybe he has asked bb to have the "kiss" question knowing everyone would go for him kissing Jess. This way in his mind, his girlfriend will believe it was bb's question and eric's game play that caused the kiss.

I just started watching BB last year and I think this is going to be my last year watching it too. It's like watching a train derail into a bunch of puppies. Who in their right mind thought it was a good idea to put someone like Amber in this house. I feel so bad for her. She's so incredibly stupid and I'm offended by the whole racist comments and yet, I still feel sorry for her. I can't help it. I think someone should get that girl to a psychiatrist and pronto. Please God, Dear God, get her some help. Wait, I just had a thought maybe this was God's plan for her all along to get her the help she needs.
Eric is smarmy. I can't stand him.
Dani's so whiny and self-absorbed, I'm aware she's still young but youth is no excuse. I work with a lot of young girls the same age and they act nothing like that. In fact most of them are more like Jess, eaily manipulated by a guy who's not good enough for them.
Dick is just that a dick. I know that some of you think he's hot but I honestly don't see it. I've always believed that you can ultimately see how someone is going to treat you by the way they treat people they don't like and I think he has a problem with women who don't think he's the greatest thing on two feet. I would have never taken the crap from him that Jen did. When I was little I wanted to be in the mafia and I have a machete under my bed so it just wouldn't work out. He wouldn't last a week with me and I may not be Miss America but I'm way too pretty for prison.
Jameka is a crappy counselor if she doesn't recognize that Amber her so called friend needs psychiatriatric help. And not only doesn't she realize that Amber is delusional, she actually encourages her delusions. Maybe she's just trying to make it through the house with the least amount of problems but I would think that a professional counselor would put someone's mental health above a game.
I still like Zach but I don't think he's gonna last much longer in that house. I also don't think Jess has a chance surrounded by these bunch of sharks. I think most of them would do just about anything for the money.
OH and one last thing about Southern girls having big hair. We're lucky that way. God loves us best that's why we're blessed with gorgeous hair. We also have large breasts, tiny waists, high IQs and can out-sweet-talk all you gals from wherever you happen to be from.

Steff,(3:13am) did you read the HOH diary's at the CBS/Big Brother website? If you think Jess is playing Eric, you really need to take a look at what she wrote. That girl is really falling for him. What a shame because I feel like a lot of others do when they say he is playing her. She's going to be so hurt when she finds out the truth. (or maybe with his kiss, it finally turned her off of him, lol)

Is Amber reinventing herself constantly, looking for an Amber that she can like ?? I don't remember her praying at the beginning of the show, until she hooked up with Jameka - when did this "boyfriend" of hers show up ? I don't remember her talking about a boyfriend in the beginning, either, not thru her whole love affair with Dustin, and all of a sudden this guy is going to propose to her ?? And what's up with wanting to be a model ? If she had been thinking that, why didn't she cozy up to Jen, who didn't make a secret of the fact that she was a bathing suit model ?? Getting names, & contacts, etc ?? This girl is going back on drugs when she gets home, not just when she finds out america isn't in love with her, but when she has to go back to a regular life, where she has to actually "do" things - unlike the BB house,where she sits around all day, & does a little bit here, a little bit there

JR...I'm sticking to my guns...that HOH diary was written a couple of WEEKS ago. After learning of her reactions to being kissed by Eric, I'm thinking she is thinking about her and Eric being the final two. He has made a few enemies, she has skated by letting others do her dirty work. If they make it, and thats BIG IF, she would win, hands down. It has yet to be revealed how and when the HG'S learn about AP, it could impact the vote even more in favor of Jess.

OMG Kay -- I'm on the floor here at your post!!!! It didn't just make my day, I think that might have made the entire season for me. Espec: re: the machete and too pretty for prison.
And I think BOTH Jess and Eric are totally sincere about their feelings for each other. And.... I think Jess has him wrapped around her little finger.... AND she will listen to everything he says (though she's capable of making her own decision FROM that information). It's equal.
Eric did say to her that he hasn't been able to play above board and that there are things he can't tell her til the game is over, but he's confident she will be pleased when she sees the show... by which I assume he means the many many times I've seen/read him completely protecting her (speaking well of her, telling people not to lump her in with any of the concequences for his actions, etc....) in all his conversations from before the week he was getting evicted and adamantly since then.

Is this game 'guided' by the producers???? How interesting that Jessica decided on boys versus girls for the naked luxury comp!
