BB9 - Live Feeds Into Wednesday Morning

jackie's tv blog, Big Brother, BB9

Graphic artist Zoetawny addresses the question on all of our minds. What will Natalie do if there's a tie vote tonight? She's lied to both of them and it's impossible to know which one she'd choose. The entire Girls Alliance thinks she's voting to keep Sharon. Ryan and Natalie have a deal with Joshuah to save him.

I really think she must be praying it won't be a tie and she won't have to be the tiebreaker. But I'd like to see it happen if for no other reason I want to know who she'd pick. There are good reasons for her to choose either of them.

Here's what has happened in that Big Brother House of Temper Tantrums since I last reported:
  • After the HOH camera and a feeds block, they all looked incredibly bored. At least when there's a brouhaha, this crowd is interesting!
  • They played cards and lazed about the backyard.
  • Natalie painted a picture of a mermaid. I can SO see her selling all of these on Ebay, can't you? Or trying to sell them.
  • Natalie and Adam ate pizza. James ate ketchup.
  • Sheila asked for her Tylenol PM saying she wanted to sleep in her own bed tonight. Remember, she's terrified of Joshuah and got permission to sleep in the HOH with Natalie.
  • After telling her he'd follow her every moment to make sure she's not trashing him, Joshuah has stopped following Sheila around and they've even joked.
  • Joshuah went through his clothes to select what he wants to wear for the live show.
  • James told Joshuah he's on board for tomorrow.
  • Adam and Ryan discussed how Joshuah will leave. Adam thinks he'll flip out. Ryan thinks he will go gracefully. Adam thinks that Sharon will put James on the block if she stays. Ryan tells him they have to keep Sharon.
  • Natalie dyed James' hair for him.
  • James talked to Natalie once again about working with her. (He hasn't learned? After all, it worked so well the last time, she put him on the block and targeted him for eviction!)
  • Natalie told him she'd vote to keep Joshuah if there's a tie. She said that if Adam gets HOH, he'd put Joshuah and James back on the block. Natalie also told James that Ryan is the only one she trusts in the game. James said he has trouble trusting Ryan because he backdoored him.
  • Natalie told James that they have to keep their alliance secret or it won't work. @@ (I say secret because when she betrays him there isn't an audience to what's been said like when Sheila does these things!)
  • Sharon and Joshuah talked. She said if she stays, she wants to go to the end and if he stays, she wants him to go to the end.
  • Sharon told Joshuah he can't believe anything said until the votes come in.
  • James and Natalie don't want to see Sheila win. (Then get her out of the house!)
  • Natalie said next week will be crucial and they have to keep it on the down low that she and Ryan are working with Joshuah and James. The targets? Well, who's left? Heh. That is, if it's not all a lie.
  • Sheila asked James why his mohawk is pink. He told her that American Apparel suggested it -- they have a lot of pink clothes and he also gets things from the American Cancer Society who thinks there's a link to breast cancer awareness with the pink.
  • I still think he's just the geek in the pink.
  • Sharon started trashing James and Joshuah to Sheila. The pigs must have taken flight because Sheila told Sharon she swore on her son to Joshuah that she wouldn't talk about him. :::thud:::
  • They changed their talk to how the house is affecting Joshuah. Sharon says he's a Negative Nancy right now with all the stress.
  • Sharon wants Sheila to win HOH and be the one to send James home.
  • Ryan apparently got reamed by the BB voice for smoking at the pool table. The feeds were blocked, but he said no one has yelled at him like that in the house since he entered it.
  • James roamed the night, snacking on condiments, dancing, playing solo chess, gazing at the Memory Wall.
  • All are asleep as I post this.

Zoetawny leaves us with a banner plane dropping Natalie some 9's. After all, she's anticipating James will go on the 9th.

Forget those sevens and eights. Bring on the nines, she says!

For once I think we will be surprised at who leaves and who stays. Finally something that actually has us guessing. If it were up to me, which of course it is not, Josh would be flying out the door. He does have his amusing moments but is way to mean and spiteful for my taste. And in no particular order after that (as DWTS likes to say) hopefully .......bye bye James, then Sharon and finally Sheila. I would be happy with any of the other three winning. I'm sure many don't share my thoughts on that, but have a nice day folks and let's hope for some good TV tonight.

I am not sure if there will be a double eviction happening. If there is double eviction, it will be Gnat leaving on the 9th...if not it will be the 16th. She can get things turned around...6-9.

I agree with whomever said Adam votes Shelia's way. I am thinking tonights vote will be Ryan and James for Josh to stay and Shelia and Adam for Sharon to stay, leaving Gnat to vote out Sharon. If it goes that way and Sharon is voted out, you know if Josh makes it to the end, Sharon will vote for Josh to get the money in the end.

I am hoping to see what is happening in the sequester house. I am sure Chelsia is thinking she will be seeing James walk through the doors. I think the SH will see Gnat walking in before James, IMO. James will have one more time being HOH and then his time will be up and he will walk.

Tonight should be interesting.

Gnat's out of the HOH comp tonight and hopefully James will win it. If Gnat votes out Josh tonight, then maybe she IS going for an all-girl alliance. Sharon has no chance however of getting to the end. She's so much nicer than Gnat and Sheila, that they won't take a chance of bringing her to the final. Gnat has a pretty good idea that if she keeps Sheila around, however, she can win against her, so I'm afraid Sheila's here for the long run unless someone else gets her out of there. She also would have a good chance of beating Ryan, the classic floater. James is a good player and Gnat is desparate to get him out. She not only wants to avenge Matty's ouster, she wants James keeping Chelsia happy in sequester instead of Matt.

Here it is,this season almost over and I still don't care who wins BB9.I do know,as I've said before,I DON'T want Adam to win.So he probably will!

Bad sign for the future of BB10,they are holding casting call for BB10 at Kent State University next week. I DON'T want another bunch of college age or young 20's in the house. Where are the Marci's and Chicken George's and INTERESTING people???? Why does this "producer"(and I use that term lightly) get the notion that this is what we want to see?? Do they think that the only ones that watch BB are men who want to see young chicks with their boobs hanging out everywhere?? I am so tired of this trend, and if that's what comes to pass,I will be done with BB for good.

Jackie, loved your Jason Mraz reference (geek in the pink). Anyway, I hope Josh goes home tonight. I can't stand his fake sobbing and his mean streak. Show editing last night was hysterical with Shelia and Sharon in the bathroom praising Josh's love for Sharon and then cut to Josh upstairs throwing Sharon under the bus. I think I saw tire tracks on Sharon's back when she emerged from the bathroom!

Sharon, I don't know how much stock you want to put into this, but on Housecalls last week, Evel Dick said he had some insider information on BB10. He stated that he had good sources tell him that this coming edition of BB would have a greater diversity in the HGs, particularly in the realm of age.

I hope he's right for the same reasons that you stated.

i agree totally with the post about chicken george and more mainstream america. does cbs read these blogs? if so they need to hold auditions at a mall, not a college campus, especially Kent State. I can say that as I graduated from there. I loved ED last year as he spiced things up. Also Janelle was also one of my all time favorite players. And remember Cowboy? BB is compeeteing with Hell's Kitchen and it's a no brainer what I am watching. Except for the live shows, I'll just read Jackie's blog and catch up. Also, i have paypal'd Jackie some $$$ for all her efforts. Anyone else who is a regular should support her too.

Does anyone think that Sheila and Adam could have some sort of relationship outside the house? Maybe not intimate, but somehow they seem to be on the same page without ever talking about it. Adam will make a comment about Sheila and then waits to see what the response is, but fails to follow up with any real attempt to discredit her. I don't know, I think there is something going on there. Maybe if they last to the end thre is a payoff of sorts? Wow, I am starting to think like the "James gang".......lol!

Pigs are flying in the sky and nines are falling from the sky ... and soon raindrops will be falling on the BB family. What a day!

Who's going? Who's staying? Who really cares? We must all be nuts to even care!

Maybe we just follow the show so we can chat and enjoy Jackie's words and Zoetawny's graphics!

Have a great day everyone!

i am amazed at how emotional these people get in the house....i can understand playing hard....i can understand desiring to win....but to break down and SOB like these people do..it is beyond me. it is a GAME. sharon....crying about how she will do ANYTHING for josh to stay ...she never even knew this kid 3 months ago! she went into the house TO WIN.....right? i guess isolation really does a number on your faculties...it has certainly done a number on mine! last night in my dream i saw james with cat ears and whiskers. it was a fleeting picture in the middle of a "normal" dream. musta been the "james has nine lives" comments...@@

Hi all, just checking in for the day. Thanks to Becky for the kind words. You expressed the point much more eloquently than I did. Tonight should indeed be interesting. I still have no clue which one is actually going home.

Tina - "Dum, dum, dum, I don't care what you might think about me, you can get by without me. I can be the one who can turn you out, we can be the talk about the town. I'm the geek in the pink, yo." I can't see James in his pink clothes with his pink mohawk without thinking of the song. From zero to hero ...

Anon - Thank you!

OMG Nancy, your vision of James with cat ears and whiskers cracked me up! Now there's a graphic for Zoetawny. Is there still a cat food called 9Lives? That would be a great label.

"Where are the Marci's and Chicken George's and INTERESTING people????"

...This is a great point from Sharon. The show is boring 'cause they're all the same! The need much more of a variety in backgrounds and ages. The producers have made very poor choices. Very poor.

Jackie S. said...

I'd definitely be on board for more diversity in ages, races, religions! It's sad when the only over 40 representative is Sheila. Blech.

I'm watching the tape of last night's POV and I have to say this is the most enjoyable thing I've seen on BB all season.

Personalities aside, this is real game play and it's great to see it, even knowing how it ends.

Love how Sheila plays victim in the end. Too funny!

What a glorious day here. It's a little cold be blue skies and bright sunshine!

Nancy--that sounds like a nightmare not a dream!!

Jackie--loved your reference to "Geek in the Pink". I actually do a line dance to that song!!

Sandiekay--I'm done with Josh too. His pretend breakdown and letting Adam trying to console him did it for me. Adam is going to be PISSED when he sees the tape and realize he was played!

patty-- I hope it's a double eviction and Sheila or Gnat. go unexpectly. I also like seeing the SH and reaction to who comes through the door.

Last night my husband was in and out of the room while I watched BB. He was also questioning why everyone was crying. I tried to explain the isolation and stress of the game...he looked at me like I was crazy and said
"It's a game! They knew all of that when it started. The mohawk guy is just a wuzz"! LOL

James played the POV great. Luckily, he was left with the two dumbest players in the house and they didn't figure out what he was doing. Those on the bench figured it out after the second question. I would love for James to win HOH just to stir things up and force alliances to come to the surface.

I don't think I've seen a season where there have been so many "secret" alliances. At this point of the game the groups are pretty solid.

Time to get my day started.

could be raining on the house parade today...forecasts say...maybe all the sugar will melt...oh wait Sheila (Mrs. Gulch) would fizzle and vaporize in rain wont she?
Im so tired of her representing the over 40 age bracket....no one would vote for her to win so she might make it to the end...

joy n said...

Bear with me, folks, I just now watched my tape of last night's episode. Loved it! Looks like some you-know-what hit the proverbial fan!

Phony Sheila again. Poor James bit into her bullcrap. He had soooo wanted to believe her. Sheila's whole (and only) game plan is to tell all what they want to hear, hoping she'll get their votes in the final. Finally, someone called her on it and I'm glad it was James. She's cocky, but stupid. She really got caught with her pants down this time. In all that screaming, I saw no foaming at the mouth.

James was brilliant in the POV comp. No one else thinks two steps ahead in this game. He outsmarted them all. He IS a good gameplayer, which is why I still think he deserves the win. I loved watching the faces of the other HGs drop as he quickly knocked each one of them out of the comp. It was classic! Ryan sucked and Sheila again made with the excuses. Once again, Gnat's not-so-well-thought-out plan fizzled.

I so loved Jame's reaction to winning. Falling on his knees, the dance, all of it! He earned this one.

Gnat's summation of the POV comp? "Worst nightmare. No birthday present for Mattie." Jeez, Louise! Maybe GOD is now telling Gnat that vengeance is not for HER to give.

What can you say about Josh? His reaction was just being his nasty self. Poor Sharon. Her feelings were so genuine. Josh, anything but. Sharon will have a rude awakening when she views this episode.

Then, Sheila in the kitchen, hugging Josh and Sharon for the same reasons she earlier had been giving James the old college cheer. Sheila kissing Sharon's butt (figuratively) in the bathroom. Josh running around plotting against Sharon. Don't ya just love 'em all?

Can't wait to see which one the "good people" of the house stab in the back tonight.

As much as I want Sharon to go-- she's boring to me, I'm afraid Josh's time is up. If these idiots were smart, they would force a tie to show Natalie's hand. Instead, they're too worried about how and when James will go. And then the HoH will probably be an 8th grade level type comp so Sheila can win. That will just do me in.

See you guys tonight for blogging!

Totally agree! And Jackie, I too would love to have Nat break the tie, just to see her handle being in that position as well as to see who she picks.

Tom's -- I see nothing from you today. Hope you're busy with something and will write soon.

James is sponsored (for the bike thing) by American Apparel so maybe there's something to their advising him on pink hair... or not. Before this he had a plainum streak adn everybody knows the next stage is going pink... that was a given from my old punk rock days:-D.

Sharon, I wonder if any grown up saw this season and last of BB its no wonder they don't have many showing up at casting calls....would you? I wouldn't!

I could never be in that house.
The vulnerability those people had last night, the pain, the isolation from their own support systems...ei yie yie! I would go insane!

I would HATE to live in a house with people who I hardly know who don't care much for me, and only see me as either a pawn or a threat.

I would hate to be wondering all the time if a person is really bonding with me, or if I am being played...and then also wondering how I am being presented to the world due to the editors.

Every time I watch the show I appreciate these people more and more. Natalie is beautiful, I love her face...and she is always smiling. James was so lost without people who appreciate him. Sheila is searching for people to mother. Adam is such a bright spot when he barrels into a room. Ryan and Sharon are so carefully quiet. Joshua is so emotional and expressive.

I like to watch the social drama...there are good features and bad features about each of the people who are living in the house for this season.

I also like to read the witty reports composed here, and the friendly comments on those reports. This is a nice place to hang out and talk about big brother.

Thanks all for giving me a good time this morning!

I can see where it might not be a tie tonight. Gnat plays it both ways but really wants Josh out of there. He can't be trusted to do her bidding in this game. Sharon will be useful to her in case James doesn't go next week and Gnat has an idea that Sharon is more controllable than Josh. Adam always votes the way Sheila and Gnat want him to. So does Ryan. Sheila will continue to keep pleasing Gnat because Gnat is keeping her in the game until she no longer needs She-witch's vote. I'm not sure that James really wants to save Josh. If he still believes that Ryan will vote out Sharon to save Josh, then James may Vote out Sharon. Gnat's blabbing though, will probably mean Josh is heading to sequester this pm.

Ryan will tell Josh whatever, but when it comes down to the wire, he knows which side of his bread has been buttered by Gnat. I believe he'll be a floater til the end. The end being, when the "good people" say it's his time to go.

I'm thinking the votes may be 4-0 or 4-1 tonight.

Very insightful post Nomad. I agree with many of the things you said. I don't think I would last very long in the BB house either. As much as we all know and the HGs know also that its a game, its only human to let emotions factor in. You want people to like you. You want to have friends. You want to believe that some people truly have your back. Unless you are Jenbot from BB8, it would be very difficult to let all this stuff just roll off your back, and she held it all in until she had a monumental meltdown.

Laurie said...

After watching last night's show this morning, I started thinking how hard it must be to even exist in the BB house day after day, isolated from the real world and stuck with people who are strangers.

I remember being in a house with my mom, 2 adult kids, brother and sister-in-law and husband for a week. By the end of the week all tempers were short and patience was gone, too. We all loved each other and were in Hawaii and could go outside every day!

Just being out of your comfort zone and having to deal with other people each day are major stressors, so I really can't imagine what it would be like to be in that house. No money would make it worth my time and mental health.

I'd love to see tonight go into a tie just to see what Natalie would do with that responsibility. I've never seen a tie vote. Would she have to make her decision right then or does she get time to be persuaded? I'm guessing it's right then.

RBennie said...

Hi Laurie, Did you miss when the vote was tied between Matt and Ryan and James, as HOH, voted on the spot to evict Matt?

Anonymous said...

Very good insight, Nomad. I think you hit the nail on the head in more ways than one.

Laurie said...

Hi Rbennie,
It's funny, I have no recollection of that. Dang! I had a head injury last week and I do have some memory lapses. That must be part of what my brain decided was unnecessary information. That was just two weeks ago, wasn't it?
Thanks for the info. Now, do I watch it live tonight or do I read ahead and find out here?

RBennie said...

Sorry to hear about the head injury Laurie. I hope all is well now. Don't worry, BB info is not important enough to worry about remembering. Although we do sometimes act like it is, LOL. My advice is if you want to be surprised when you watch it, restrain from reading the blog tonight. I know its hard to resist, but you can do it!

Can't at least some of them be a little more creative?

I have decided Natalie is not a bikini barista.. she's a burlesque. She dresses and wears her hair (makeup and pig tails) like those who perform-- and the tube socks-- they have got to go!!

Anonymous said...

plaidchick--I'm with you. Those tube socks have to go! I love to wear them but not as a fashion statement!! Someone needs to tell her that pig-tails and tube socks doesn't make you sweet and innocent! I believe Nat. has some good qualities and longs for a relationship(male/female) that is true and honest. She just doesn't have enought self-respect to find it.

Laurie--I haven't had a head injury and there's many things I don't remember(as do many of the HG). I think it's called selective memory retention. My husband suffers from it!! LOL
As for me, I know I will be checking in here to find out what happens hours before it airs here in Tacoma.

It sounds like Josh will be gone 4-1 tonight....and once again James will realize they all lied to him and he is on his own island.....I see a graphic possibility Zoetawny.

Jackie--I always say this but how you pick up all those little pieces and make them sound interesting amazes me.!!
Thank you, Thank you.

Laurie said...

Nana and Rbennie... I'll be here reading the live report as Jackie blogs it. I'm the one who sometimes reads the end of the book just so I can relax and enjoy it. I know ... it's a character defect! Either that or a way to manage unneeded stress!

My head is healing nicely. I saw the doctor today and she said I'm good to go and not to worry about the memory stuff. She said the important stuff will return.

Sheila can't go tonight right? *sigh*

Been busy at work and home so haven't had a minute to try to comment. I watched BBAD today and James did say he has the clothes sponsor and a shoe sponsor for his bike trips... all in pink. It was the sponsor who suggested he died his mohawk pink as well.

He was hoping the breast cancer org. would also sponsor him, but they haven't, although a lot of people come up to him and tell him it's great that he's doing it for a good cause. He doesn't correct them.

I'm so confused as to what Natalie is going to do. She is always telling someone she's going to do what they want her to do. She'll take Sharon off the block, she'll take Josh off the block, she has an alliance with James and will save Josh. She has an alliance with Ryan and Adam and is insistant they vote out Josh. Hello! Is she that smart or that dumb (dum).

Tom's...miss your comments. Where are you. And did I miss something somewhere... are you and Lars Eller related? Talk to us!

Everybody, I have so enjoyed reading (and laughing) at the comments on here during our wait for tonight. The humor is so much fun compared to what I hear other blogs are doing by constantly trashing each other.

Thanks Jackie for keeping your blog clean.

Until tonight!
