Julie reminds us that it's the most important veto of the summer and then we're into the recap.
An emotions run high segment. Well, duh. Paul cries over his HoH win. Poor little Paul also cries to us in the Diary Room. A flashback to James and Paul talking the night before about splitting up Corey and Nicole. Paul cries some more in the Diary Room.
Nominations ceremony - Paul nominates Corey, then Nicole. He tells them that strategically it makes the most sense because they're such a strong couple.
Julie promises us a segment on "the most explosive jury house ever." Huh. Maybe the cameras should have been in there -- the feeds have been boring for the past few weeks!
Jury - Apparently Zakiyah was stupid enough to hook back up with Paulie. They're separate from the others. Natalie arrives. She says she would have saved James with the veto. Paulie speaks up saying that the girls in there are passive-aggressive after it was mentioned he didn't save Zakiyah. Da'Vonne lights into him. He goes and brings up her daughter. A handler has to come out to take Da'Vonne away. Then Da'Vonne gets into it with Zakiyah. Eep.
Then Victor arrives a few days later. They didn't want to see him, but they all kind of like him.
Veto comp time -- It's baseball-themed. It's a dates/events comp, they have to step on bases to advance the day counts. "Cover Your Bases." Three outs (wrong answers) and they're out. James got an out on the first question. James has his second out. James is out first. Nicole has one out. Corey has one out. Nicole has a second out. Nicole has three outs and she's out of the game. Corey has two outs. Paul has his first out. Paul has his second out. They're tied.
PAUL wins the final veto of the summer!
Now Corey cries in the Diary Room.
Live veto meeting and eviction time. No time for speeches. Paul does not use the veto. James will be the only vote.
Eviction plea:
Corey -- Corey very nice.
Nicole -- Gushes about Corey.
James votes to evict Corey, loves them both, though.
The next show is FRIDAY. The first part of the HoH will be shown then.

I rember Corey and Nicole making out (kissing) one night in bed together on BBAD.... I decided to fast forward.
First of all I want to wish a very special lady a Happy Birthday. You do a lot for us and thank you for all you do. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JACKIE. Now for a second one. I think Nicole had on Michelle's dress or Michelle had on Nicoles dress. Then again didn't Michelle have one just like it? There is no way Nicole could get it back. Never mind who really cares. I think Corey was kinda cold to Nicole. He doesn't care for her.
Feeds still on but it is coming up tonight. James and Paul mentioned changing into comp clothes. Hoping to catch some of it before bedtime.

OK.... I'm just watching BB here in California... Wow... If Paulie was the one to have had Bridgette move to get closer to Day and started screaming in her face and then stood over her yelling and moving in on her in an intimidating way like she did Paulie... He would be in. ALL kinds of trouble! And I'm not a Paulie fan... But seriously, if that was reversed we all would be screaming! In fact BB would have probably taken him off the show! I can see those girls trying to punish Z if she went back with Paulie... He called them out on it. Day is a mean girl and the others are followers. Her getting in his face and standing up over him to intimidate wouldn't be tolerated if she were a guy... I'm just shocked! Wow...
Judi, I still would have punched him in the mouth and given America my jury vote. They were both wrong, but if a guy got in my face like that and called me a punk, I would have been kicked off the jury. And Meech actually started it all with her Paulie didn't use the veto on Zakiyah comment. He was itching for a reason to start crap over Zak and the girls. He should have kept his mouth shut and Davonne should have too.
They both should have held their tongues... Other names bother me more than punk. Maybe it's just me reflecting back to when my dad would stand up over my mom yelling and intimidating before he would swing at her... Day was at that point. Just brought back scary childhood memories... Neither one of them should have gone there. Neither one of them are my favorites. Smiling...

I think was pretty obvious that Paulie was begging for that fight. He was actually enjoying it and probably wanted it for more TV exposure. He didn't particularly care if it's good or bad coverage.
Paulie was smirking as security hauled Day away; just smart enough to stay seated, while Day stood over him, looking intimidating... even though we all know he could have mopped the floor with her if he wanted. They were both as*es with their behavior.

Well, I'm out. I stayed up last year until 12:49 (checked Jackie's archive, lol) but at least I got to watch almost an hour of the comp. BB, shame on you. grrrr

OMG, I almost feel sorry for Nichole. I would have to seriously consider self evicting if I was stuck in there with Paul and I was the only one he wanted to talk to.
James should consider himself lucky Paul does not want to talk to him. If we have to listen to Paul bad mouthing James for the next week I am liable to throw something through my TV screen.

Petals. Your comment is coming across very racist as you are associating a minority with the "hood". Whether you meant it or not it is a racist statement.
But I have tell you that you are not even using the term correctly. The term is a very sexist comment. You are actually calling her a slut. This term refers to someone who has sex with everyone in the "hood" or neighborhood. A hood rat is an often poor woman who engages in sexual activity like a prostitute, but without charge and without being coerced.
Monty and Petal what I do love about coming here and remembering or posting our comments is that we are ALOEED to have our own opinions... We can laugh at and each other and ourselves. I love coming to Jackies Blog.
Anonymous, I have watched that scene five times... Each time Day threw the first vulgar comment by calling Paulie an assh@@l (a few times). She was also arrogant and condensending and told him "basically... shut up, no one cares what you think... Just shut up!" Trust, I find Paulie very arrogant and I don't like him.
But with that being said (and not being racist)... We (and Bridgette and Day) complained many times that Paulie didn't have Z's back and didn't protect her. Now when he does step up and comes to Z'S side and calls out Bridgette and Day for being mean girls and shunning Z just because she has chosen to forgive Paulie and still be with him... Bridgette and Day go on the attack. The shunning of Z is a VERY controlling method... I'm the momma and I'm not talking to you until you do as I approve! I had parents like that... I don't blame Paulie and Z for isolating themselves from that kind of behavior. I use to stay in my room so I didn't have to see the rejection. I get it! Now when he IS PROTECTING her they are mad about being called on it. A friend may not like the choices you make in life but you still include them and are there for them when they fall. Shunning only pushes a person into the arms of the other. You notice once everything started getting serious not even Z, Michelle or Natalie opened Thor mouth. Paulie called out two girls. And in the BB house those two were mean!
Day was better this BB time than her first... I REALLY disliked her and wanted her out. I really had high hope for her this time round! I could care less what nationality, color or religion you are! I call it as "I" see it... From my eyes too! She even said her mouth got her in trouble last time and she was going to tone it down... That only worked for a short time. This is the "in your face" Day I remember from her first go round.
What I do know is IF things were reversed and it was Paulie moving Bridgette over to get in Days face and HE stood up towering over Day (while screaming out of control) while PUSHING HIS body into her face, production would have hauled his fanny out of the house and he would have been gone! Gone!
Neither one of them were right... But, at least Paulie has become protective of Z. Now that Victor and Corey are in the house there won't be as much isolation. I don't feel anyone in here has ever had opinions shared due to any racism... We only share our thoughts in how each of us individually sees it. No one has said anything about race until this last post. I'm not speaking for everyone, just me!
My response about the racist comment go back to comments made from 8;20 to 8:21. Anytime you refer to a minority from the hood that is racist. Whether you mean it that way or not. I am a minority I feel safe for speaking from others in my opinion. It's just not PC or nice to say. Period. I never did say I condoned anyone's actions in the scenes. It was a hot mess. No doubt. But the comment Petals made was not ever used correctly. No woman should be called a hood rat. That is sexist and deeming; regardless of your race.
