Because of the rain delay on Thursday night, we'll see the HoH comp tonight.
But first ... the recap.
Okay, finally the rain-delayed HoH comp. Paul has schemed to have Christmas and Josh to go for the win. He wants Alex to feel safe, so Kevin is once again the ruse. He talks to Alex about throwing the comp. Jason can't play as outgoing HoH. Kevin is reluctant to throw the comp. Paul tells him to trust him. He squares the throwing with Alex who agrees to do it if Kevin does it. Now it's onto convincing Raven.
It's obviously a repeat of the Ready, Set, Whoa comp we've seen in the past. Christmas tells us she wants to target Alex and Jason. Alex tells us she won't drop out until she sees Kevin go. False starts seem to be the only way to throw this to Christmas on crutches.
It all hinges on Kevin going out first. He's reluctant. But he does it. Alex tells us Kevin will get evicted this week because he trusted Paul. Then she throws it. She trusts Paul, too. Raven throws it. Kevin is all confused now. Paul throws it. Kevin thinks he has a plan. Y'think?
It's down to Christmas and Josh. Josh wants her to win. But she wants it to be realistic-looking. She doesn't like it looking so set-up. Josh throws it. Christmas wins by default. She's the new HoH.
Alex is a true believer in Christmas. Her childhood fantasies are going to fall hard this week.
Raven realizes they're doing the same thing to Alex and Jason that was just done last week to her and Matt. Kevin is worried, though. Paul has to calm his nerves. Kevin trusts Paul. Or, at least feels he has little choice than to trust him. Paul doesn't want Kevin cluing in Jason.
Now that Matt is gone, Raven thinks Paul is her new knight in shining armor. Gag.
Alex actually volunteers to go on the block. She thinks that if she goes up as a pawn with Kevin, no one will vote for her to go.
In their lap and yap, Jason tries to warn Kevin that he (Kev) and Raven will go on the block. Hmm. Kevin tells us he thinks he has to trust Paul on this one.
Now Raven is saying she's had surgery for "rough knee cap syndrome" and no cartilage. I'm a knee surgery of all kinds person myself. I have/had chrondromalacia patella which would sort of fit that description. She's lying. Now I have knee replacements, so the lack of cartilage isn't an issue!
A few fluff segments. Josh loved Elena. Alex hides to scare Jason.
The Tree of Temptation shows for its final time. Christmas doesn't want anyone to go for it. They've edited it like Jason was going for an apple. But he can't take the chance of not playing in the next HoH and he knows it.
More fluff -- Alex scaring Josh and Christmas workouts.
Alex tells Jason that there should really be two pawns and a real backdoor of Kevin. She proposes it to Paul. She thinks Josh would be a great pawn. Alex goes to Christmas about it.
Christmas and Paul talk about it. She doesn't want to take the heat. Paul suggests keeping the plan the same -- Alex and Jason -- but no backdoor on Kevin. I guess she'll have to face the music when the backdoor doesn't open! But it will be on Christmas, not Paul. Unless of course, Paul wins the veto ...
Nominations ceremony time.
Christmas nominates Alex, then Jason. Jason pretends to faint. She says that Alex is a pawn. Jason, you are a triple threat, I must take out a strong male figure.
Alex still trusts Christmas. Jason is suspicious.

I think they should get rid of Alex first. She is the brains between her and Jason and I can see her being fired up enough, after this, to go win the next HOH. Jason seems to get flustered easier.
I haven't watch a complete show and already stopped watching tonight's. I can't believe how stupid these people are- especially Kevin! He is old enough to know better! Foul mouths is bad enough, then add stupid on top of it, doesn't make for anything I want to watch. Guess I am in minority as I assume they have enough audience to keep advertisers.

I usually read Jackie's and a few other blogs, I guess Christmas is getting a chip on her shoulder. One of the favorite comments now is, "I'm a grown *ss f****** woman and you will not treat me like that." Don't ask me what, Christmas just didn't like it that Josh walked away from her. There people think they are privileged and it just sucks how they treat certain people. I do not understand why Josh puts up with her.

I'm at my MIL's up in Northern Ohio. When I told them I was going to watch Big Brother, my husband suggested going to sit out on the porch. LOL. He's watched this season with me and he absolutely hates it. He's said, "What, are we in elementary again?" LOL.

I understand, I am sitting outside watching the deer and squirrels, wife sitting in front of TV watching BB saying how stupid it is. I just don't understand, but after 34 years, i just accept.
I think Kevin's safe in all scenarios. They want one of Jalex out so not matter which one is on the block come Thursday, they will go home first in the DE.
I keep wondering if Paul never came into the game, would any of them know how to play Big Brother?

To give BB a bit of a fair shake -- I don't think they ever could have predicted this group of hamsters would follow Paul's lead all season. I bet they figured he'd be the target after his initial safety ended. I watched him last season and I do think he plays the game well ... but no way could I have predicted they'd all fall in his web.

Silk and Penny - With my knee issues, I actually had that condition. It's part of what led to a knee replacement about 20 years later. It has nicknames, but not the one Raven used.

Yeah, but Jackie, you DID have a knee condition. The only way to fix it was by a knee replacement. I've know people who have had knees just like that. Their doctors have pasted their knee cap together over and over again. After excruciating pain, they finally replaced it. If her knees had hurt that bad, she wouldn't have been able to do the slip and slide.

Just listened to 90+ minutes of Raven discussing her illnesses. Alex was trolling her and she didn't have a clue. She was telling the story again of her mom getting struck by lightning and Alex asks her "Has your mom won the lottery yet"? Went right over her head.
Does anyone remember early on in BB seasons where the jury could hear the diary room sessions of the houseguests? I'm trying to remember when the producers decided to cut those sessions off from the jury. Paul is getting pretty cocky in his DR interviews, and of course he has the privacy from the jury hearing what he is saying.

I would love to see the look on the faces of those left in the house if Cody got AFP and Josh wins it all. Wouldn't they just be shocked. Yes...especially Paul. I would love it. Monty, The Raven exposure was actually on BBAD last night. Having a DVR I went back to make sure what I saw really happened as I was really not paying much attention. I mostly do other things on the computer while listening to them. But the TV is just a little out of my line of sight so caught it and went back to make sure I did see what I thought I saw. lol
David, are you sure it's the same #ravenexposedparty? This one happened at 2:02 am BBT and BBAD goes off at midnight BBT. I know they had one upstairs around the chess table earlier, but this one was down in the kitchen. It's hilarious :)))

Monty, it must have been more than one or two times then. She was in the HOH room when I saw her doing high leg kicks and swirls with leg raised in front of everyone with Matt's shirt on and not much on underneath. Maybe she was just warming up for the show later on for the feeds. lol
No David, this is different. The Ravenexposedparty is about her lies. The convo in the kitchen was hilarious. It's funny because they're all now talking openly about all the unbelievable things she's claimed in there this summer from her, to her mom, and now to her family. She told them that she had a family member who went down on the Titanic. That could be true, but she couldn't even name the person. Jason, said it was, "ROSE", lol. It was just a funny fifteen or twenty minutes of them exposing her tall tales in there. They happen all the time now, but this was a good one. :)))

i think it is kinda funny my least favorite player to begin with was Josh. Wanted him out so bad but now I almost hope he wins the whole thing. Paul has used him as a lap dog and he is the only one that is beginning to see through Paul's motive in his actions. Could this be a more awful season????? I like Kevin but know there is no way he could win the comps in the end in order to advance. UGH UGH UGH Can you imagine the look on Pauls face is Josh was to beat him. HEHEHEHEHE
