Can't you just feel the love? |
Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Perplexing Purposes:
- As you know from my last post, at the veto meeting Jag took himself off the block and Hisam went up in his place.
- No, there were no fisticuffs, no brouhahas either.
- If there were, they were while the feeds were blocked. But no one was sporting any new wounds and nothing was brought up about that in talks.
- Hisam is hurt. Hisam is disappointed. Hisam feels betrayed. Hisam is wondering what he did wrong to deserve this.
- The Hisam Apology Tour started, tickets to attend cost nothing ... just your time and nodding appropriately is expected.
- He apologized to EVERYONE.
- Those he hadn't been working with, he said he could work with in the future.
- Those he had been working with, he told them although hurt his door is still open.
- Before the veto meeting, Hisam told Izzy that they should put up Cory and Jared next week. He didn't mention that in his apologies.
- You can guess how Izzy took that!
- America and Cory are getting closer and closer.
- It seems America just wants a showmance and Cory doesn't.
- I think Cory is smart not to play her game.
- Meanwhile, the Jared/Blue whatever continues. At this point if they each hurt their own game, I don't care. Just don't take any collateral with you.
- Jared has made some statements that make me cringe. He's sounding quite misogynistic. Grr. Plus, he calls everybody, male or female, "bro." If he did that to me, "I am NOT your bro. Do you want to keep that kneecap in one piece?"
- America and Blue are talking more and more.
- Meme seems to be on the outskirts.
- Red and Cameron are still a couple. Nah, not romantically a couple -- just a bromance.
- In addition to the every season ant problems, it seems the big cockroaches are a problem in the house this year.
- No, I'm not talking about Cameron and Red!
- I'm talking the actual bugs.
- Jag and Matt do seem willing to work with The Ex-Professors.
- America seems mistrusted by just about everyone, as does Red. More distrust Blue as each day passes.
- It does seem that some folks are considering trying to keep Hisam.
- But I doubt that would happen.
I'm transparent, honest and have integrity! |
Jag is not a late night Reilly replacement. |
Listening to Hisam after the veto meeting. |
Always observant but needs to mingle more. |
Ew! Now Blue has America roller banging! |

I'm not too fond of America, or how she's "playing" the game. As soon as Reilly was out the door, America was ALL OVER Matt! Back off sweetie!
And now she's all over Cory! Although younger than Matt, I think Cory is more onto her game than Matt was. Matt is better off with Cirie and Felicia! At least neither of them want a showmance.
I watched Paramount+ for a while last night. Cirie & Jared were talking and Meme was sitting nearby. The convo wasn't nearly as interesting as watching Meme's face(s) while listening in. Priceless. lol
While I wasn't impressed with Cory at the beginning and felt like he'd be gone within 2 or 3 weeks, he's a lot more "aware" than expected. He's becoming more interesting.
I don't really mind Cirie. Her attempts to try and flip the votes back/forth has added chaos. On the other hand, Jared's convos are getting very close to blowing both of their games. And then there's his absolutely cringeworthy conversations about sex and the way he treats women.
Cory actually had it nailed. Hisam made the rounds and everyone is his New Best Friend. Whoot!! Guess who isn't Public Enemy #1 anymore? Hisam even wants to work with Matt now. LOL
Hisam was working overtime. He was talking to Matt & Jag when I woke at 4am. it ended at 4:50am CST.
Here's the deal about Hisam. If they don't get him out now, then when? The longer they wait, the fewer the HGs there are, and the harder it is to backdoor, because the likelier it is your target will get to play in the Veto.
Every season we see super strong comp people stay in the game week after week because the HGs wait far too long to target them, and then they save themselves from eviction repeatedly by winning multiple HOHs and Vetoes.
Not to mention who here believes Hisam would forget and forgive and go back to happily working with his alliance? Not me. A revenge tour of destruction would seem a lot more likely. And I think he would be a super bitter juror who would try to poison all concerned against any and all finalists he feels betrayed him.
Jared is such an odd case. He appears to be determined to self sabotage his game by dropping hints to Blue. I think once he spills that Cirie is his mom, they will become top targets, because they are an unbreakable alliance that would dump anybody in the house to take the other to the end. I mean does Izzy think for a second if she, Jared, and Cirie are F3 that she won't be the one dumped? Of course she doesn't.
Am currently watching the new Challenge. Lots of old HGs on this season. Would love to see Matt and Reilly on a future season.
Lili,
Absolutely correct.. on all points.
Personally, I wouldn't want to see Matt go on The Challenge. #1, he's just too nice for a show that's so cutthroat. #2, I suspect his deafness would be much more of a problem on that show. He'd do great with just the swimming part, but he can't wear his aides while swimming, so he wouldn't hear teammates calling. #3, would he risk his swimming career doing challenges that are so physical that they can cause injury?
Backdoors don't always work out and Hisam is quite a competitor. I hope they stick to their guns and get him out while they can. I wasn't excited about the Cirie/Jared thing this year but now I find myself rooting for her. Not Jared. But I think Cirie's game is going to get blown out of the water by her son.
She was also really flirting with Jag
Last night and tonight, I've been watching the Feeds... first time watching on Paramount+. Lots of colonoscopy swirl "we'll be right back" breaks. It would make sense if they were for Ads like they did with the old After Dark (from years ago). At least those made sense because they were sponsor Ads.
I think Cory is playing a great game. Not a Cirie great game but I’m impressed with him.
This may be blasphemous, but I don't think as sloppy of game as Cirie is playing, that she deserves all the accolades. Big Brother is NOT like survivor. The HG's marinate as in a slow cooker, while on Survivor is like heating up in a microwave. She is still a great social player, and I think will adjust her game as time goes on. The Izzy thing is definitely a monkey wrench, and we'll see how that plays out too.
Hi Fred, happy to see you!
Yep, Izzy has already slipped. Have to wonder how long before she totally blows their cover!
Cirie is sloppy, but enjoys creating chaos. Jared is just plain stupid-sloppy. Mama C has warned him, but in all his wisdom, would rather toy with his toy. In general, there's very little to like about Jared... whether in or out of the house.
