BB25: Live Feeds Overnight into Wednesday - Aug. 9

Luke did NOT say that word, did he?

Here's what's been happening in the overnight hours inside that Big Brother House of Nasty Narwhals:

  • Okay, we have what will probably be the first TMZ mention of the season.
  • I am going to go out of order here, bear with me.
  • Luke said the n-word while in the room with Hisam, Cory and Jared.
  • He tried to correct it to "dude" and the feeds quickly went to the Nether Region colonoscopy screen.
  • Hisam and Cory were shocked and pretty much immediately left the room.
  • He used the word as an expression, not really targeting. But that's something white people cannot and should not do. I personally don't like hearing it when black people are referring to each other.
  • How did Jared react?
  • Very graciously.
  • As Luke apologized over and over again, even to the point of saying that he meant to say "narwhal," Jared told him not to worry.
  • Jared told him that white people (like Cory and Hisam) get more offended over that kind of mention than black people.
  • All does seem good with Jared about it ... but the others and the internet might hold a different position.
  • Hisam came back in and seemed over it.
  • Both Hisam and Jared advised Luke to really watch himself, but they did it friendly-like.
  • In other bad news, Cameron continues to browbeat and gaslight Reilly.
  • He has told her he thinks of her as a daughter.
  • He has twice told her that that if they weren't on television, he would hit her.
  • It's like watching a wannabe David Koresh get his start. (If you don't know who that was, look it up.)
  • He has broken Reilly.
  • And Kirsten is broken as well.
  • Cory wants to throw a sympathy vote for Kirsten.
  • Everyone feels sorry for her.
  • But ... Jared has a good point. It's a game and she did it to herself.
  • She thinks (and could be right) that she will be going to the Nether Region and may have a chance to return.
  • Mama Cirie is understanding and consoling to both Reilly and Kirsten.
  • She even told Hisam they need to offer her consolation and understanding.
  • Cirie told him it's the right thing to do; it goes beyond the game.
  • Of course, she will vote out Kirsten in a heartbeat.
  • But Kirsten will leave with only love in her heart for Cirie.
  • In other news, Jag took off his turban for the evening and the Have Nots were able to feast at midnight their time.
  • That's the interesting stuff in a large nutshell.
  • Laters!

This game changes people.

All fun and games until ...

Jag shows up to the party without his turban.

Cameron is toxic for Reilly! Get him away!

She's going to break!

Thank you Jackie, I agree about that word as well. It’s almost like do they not have an orientation crash course of basic BB 101 at some point in the process they go through like is someone not saying to them you guys get everything you say or do is now part of the internet so mull that over. Lol I guess Cameron doesn’t realize Cirie is the Janet Reno of the house.

Caela - You know if he said it (which I did hear), it's in his regular vocabulary. I don't know who he hangs with that finds that "normal," but it's certainly not part of my vocabulary when I'm excited, happy or stressed!

JonMD1267 - LOL

I will say he said it ending with an a or ah not er. But still ... unacceptable!

yeah - I liked Luke, but that was ... uhm.

Meanwhile, overnight, Matt expressed his concern for slop or water-spraying comps which would damage his hearing aids. I wonder how BB will compensate for that? Is this a first?

hey everyone - I am a little late to commenting as I have to say, I have not seen an episode yet but have been following here and updates on twitter. from the updates and pics I've seen Cameron really freaks me out. I've never been a loyal Survivor watcher but am enjoying Cirie so much. Izzy seems like alot. Going to start watching the first two episodes today.

Izzy is a lot, you got that right. And, Cirie has great people skills. Her comp beast bit is going to be lacking but she won't need it.

Petals - He will also have issues with hearing comps with a lot of instruction. I'm thinking he will do great with the comps they get to practice beforehand. It is a first. Hisam also has hearing issues with one ear, nowhere near as bad but may have problems.

Sure enough, as I predicted -- TMZ picked up the Luke n-word story.

He needs to be kicked out. period. I've said all along, as other contestants have noticed as well, Luke is pretending to be a big dumb goofball, but in reality he knows what he is doing and what he is saying. I watched the clip and he said the word on purpose with a huge grin. He likes to get a rise out of people by putting on this himbo act. Very Kyle-esque from last season with the dumb glasses and intentionally horrible haircut and thinking being a big man boy is cute. It's a bit insulting. Somebody on Twitter put a meme thatsaid "Luke to Production:" and it's a clip of Aryn from season 15 saying "What you going to do, girl!" basically saying Luke is taunting Production and that sums it up, and Big Brother looks silly by actually not doing anything!

just as I commented that, the feeds are kitten cam, so I hope this is because they are kicking him out.

Also as soon as I typed this comment that reporter from People who gets all the Big Brother scoops confirmed he's been kicked out.

I have a post up with the statement from CBS about his removal from the house.

Wait he said “hit her”, not hit ON her? That’s despicable. Abusive. Ridiculous. Threatening. UGH BB do better.

Cj - The way I see it is IF Kirsten stays due to Luke being expelled and Cameron doesn't win HOH, he's toast next week. IF Kirsten stays, I believe she will gravitate towards the Cirie side of the house.
