STATEMENT FROM CBS AND THE PRODUCERS: “Luke violated the BIG BROTHER code of conduct and there is zero tolerance in the house for using a racial slur. He has been removed from the house. His departure will be addressed in Thursday night’s show.”

Those who have Luke in the blog pool will be reassigned to a new hamster. Right now, the house is in adoptable animals mode probably telling the others that he's gone.

I would think that's a possibility.
I am glad they gave him the boot but its interesting to me that after all the years of slurs and such, this year they actually do something about it.
In the picture you posted, I thought the look on Hisam's and Cody's faces said everything.
About time BB puts their foot down! The past few years, they've known the "code," but an offender only receives a "stern" warning. Unfortunately for Luke, we know how it will go for him in the outside world. JQ Public can be merciless.

I’m all for free speech and what that represents. People can say what they want but they have to understand that what they say and or do has consequences and somethings I’m not sorry at this point we all know what is right and or wrong and or what at least is polite and acceptable things to say in public or just as a common deceancy as human beings to one another. Hopefully he can learn from this and be able to handle what has happened. I’m just suprised on a level from his bio and clip and him being an artist I don’t know I’d like to have expected better of him.
Sharon N - Definitely. No cameras were on Jared at the time. I'm glad he reacted as maturely as he did. I like Jared. But Hisam and Cory were outright shocked and showed it.
Chacha and Jon - They told all of them pre-season zero tolerance on any racial slurs. With the past history in the show, that's the way they need to do it. As for Luke, he seemed to want to play the dumb silly guy and, even as he said the word, he was hamming it up. He gone!
I hope at least Felicia got to say bye to him lol

...Last year, Kyle was in a showmance with Alyssa (aka, The Beautiful Couple).
...This year, it's Luke. Not in a showmance, and not really in an alliance.
Although it's not something any of us on Jackie's site cares to watch, BB always always seems to encourage showmances. Apparently they feel it's something the TV viewers want to follow (ick). To me, that means Kyle wasn't really BB-dispensable. Whereas, good ol' Luke... no big loss for BB.
You skeptic, Sharon! I personally think that with Canada BB taking away the live feeds this past season, BB USA wants to make the case that they won't tolerate racial slurs/incidents on the feeds. They are getting ad revenue from PlutoTV this season and know the live feed crowd keeps those ratings and interest in the show going.
The only thing personally I enjoyed out of Kyle last season was him saying “devils lettuce” as I apparently being the sheltered fool I am had never heard that before and that was very humorous to me lol
Im GLAD they kicked him out that is a term I DO NOT TOLERATE from anybody i dont care if its friend or family
This has been brewing since BB15 and it’s about time they took a real stand. I hope they get to keep Kirsten and give her a chance.

Ha! I totally forgot about Kyle's "Devil's Lettuce"... never heard of it before and had to look it up. lol
Anon 6:29pm - Unknown at this time. The feeds are still on adoptable animals but no banner telling us when they will return and no official announcement from CBS Big Brother. I will post when I know.
