BB25: Live Feeds, Part One HOH Winner - Nov. 6

Could he be regretting his decision?

Here's a quick update from inside that Big Brother House of What Have I Done?:

  • The live feeds were down most of the night.
  • When they returned, MATT won Part One of the three-part final HOH comp.
  • It was an endurance in which they hung onto something and got wet and cold.
  • Bowie Jane and Jag were talking about Matt holding on with just one hand at times.
  • They both commented that Felicia would have fallen off soon after it started.
  • I could be way off base, but the way they were talking reminds me a bit of the final HOH comp round that Evel Dick won against all odds. But that was all one-handed.
  • Although they seem very confused, I'll set the record straight what happens from here.
  • HOH Part Two will have Jag and Bowie Jane competing. As winner of Part One, Matt automatically advances to Part Three.
  • It will be a taped comp, done probably within the next day or two.
  • That one is usually a mental comp.
  • HOH Part Three will have the winners of Part One and Part Two competing live on finale night.
  • So, that would be Matt against the winner of Part Two -- either Jag or Bowie Jane.
  • The winner of Part Three sends one person out the door and it's down to the final two.
  • Then the jury votes between the two on the live finale.

Bowie Jane can't even smile.

No need to give stank face, you won it!

Thank you Jackie! I stayed up until 1:00AM (mtn) and had to give up.

The face Matt is making,,, makes me wonder if maybe Unhappy Bowie and Pal Jag were only cheering each other on... finally making it plain their plans are for each other.

Do we think Matt would take Jag or Bowie to Final 2?

Nah, he was talking to Bowie Jane about Felicia saying she was so honest throughout the game.

Tildes - It all depends on who wins Part 3. I think Matt, like Jag yesterday, will take Jag. I think he may be able to win over either one of them.

Interesting. Bowie would be a sure thing but guess that's too easy for them!

Am I recalling correctly that Part 3 is a Q&A before/after type comp? If so, Jag just might have the upper hand.
Although... it seems like I remember the questions aren't really the "days" he has memorized per se, but more about when other things happened in the house. Is that correct?

The final part tends to vary. It is usually Q&A but in different ways. I recall a few using previous hamster quotes.

If Part 3 is about things the others have said, Matt would be at a disadvantage because of not hearing a lot. I hope it's fair. I"m pulling for Matt!!

Yep, I think you've got it correct Jackie!!
Questions about the other hamsters sounds right. How much each person paid attention to what the other HGs said/did. It will be interesting to see which 2 make it to the final HOH comp.

If it's questions about other HGs...
--Jag might have an advantage, but most of his time was memorizing days/items in the house.
--Matt was social, but his hearing only picked up parts of conversations.
--Bowie is a question mark... most of the HGs didn't include her in very much.

I'm glad Matt won Part 1 and he's at least still in the running at this point. Are Jag and Bowie treating Matt a bit like Felicia now and excluding him a bit? I found what they did with the pick a number between 1 and 100 juvenile, and unnecessarily mean, because Matt will find out they did that after the show.

IMO, Matt had distinct disadvantages that neither Bowie or Jag did....the deafness, and losing his super helpful friend Reilly super early. I could be utterly wrong but I can't recall anyone having to save or protect Matt, aside from Jag not booting him yesterday. Matt has won comps, formed alliances, followed thru on strategy, and had a good social game.

Versus Jag who has won a lot of comps, tho like Cirie said....lately it's been against two senior citizens, Bowie, and when Matt couldn't compete, so it's not the huge deal Jag makes it out to be. And he's only still there because Matt used the secret power on him. If not for Matt, Jag would not have even made it to jury. He couldn't keep his mouth shut, lots of people dislike his tactics, he has done zero jury management. Versus Bowie who has floated, appeared clueless, thrown comps, and the only reason she's still there is because Jag wants her there. So I'm still hoping for Matt to win the season.

For me, there were 2 things that stood out in BB25:
Cirie's pre-planned talk with Julie about what it's like to live in the BB house.
"The Unreliables Alliance" between Jag, Cory and America.

No matter how boring it's gotten, or how upsetting Jag/Matt/Bowie became, I'll remember those 2 things, and playing them back (several times) has kept me snickering.

Sharon N -Those things were great. I also loved the impromptu scat singing with Izzy, Jag and others.

Interesting. I just saw a Felicia interview. During Week 9 when she was on the block with Mecole, she found out her brother had passed. They let her talk to family and her family insisted she continue on with BB. That had to be horrible for her. She didn't say anything to any of the others that I heard or heard about.

My heart goes out to Felicia. In a couple of the interviews, I did hear Felicia mention something about her brother, but didn't catch that he had died. I suppose BB decided nothing should be said because she was staying and the other HGs receiving that knowledge could influence the game.

It's sad to think about Felicia dealing with "death" and "game" at the same time, while trying to conceal something that touched her deeply. It had to be very difficult to keep all her emotions inside. Felicia has gone though a lot in her life. She's an exceptionally strong woman.
