BB23: Live Feeds into Thursday Morning - July 29

Both know the game. They need to work it, though.

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Gregarious Goats:

  • I don't think I've ever seen this many alliances and side alliances, not to mention duos, cross-mingling so many hamsters!
  • Yet we continue to have house votes.
  • I'm kind of hoping that since the three most agreed upon targets will be gone this week, that will stop.
  • And, though I really like most of them, I hope the Cookout develops some cracks and the promise to never nominated another will end. I don't like it that any group that large has that kind of promise going on.
  • Wait! The latest Cookout plan is to have a member and a non-member on the block.
  • Still, the vote to evict will oust the non-member.
  • Wah.
  • I like some not in the Cookout alliance and would like to see a mix in the house.
  • Claire and Tiffany are now committed to a Final Two. With the Cookout, not sure how they would swing that. I'd like to see it, though.
  • Claire thinks that Kyland or Xavier plan to target her after Whitney goes.
  • She's probably right, at least about Xavier.
  • She wants them out before jury.
  • That's gonna be a bit hard to do, methinks.
  • Brent still thinks he has the votes to stay.
  • Maybe he doesn't realize that the votes he has are actually eviction votes!
  • Tiffany and Claire are onto the fact that Kyland and SarahBeth are working together, sharing information and such.
  • With Tiffany already thinking that Kyland is getting a bit too controlling, that's not good for the group of four -- Tiff, Claire, Kyland and Derek X.
  • Derek X's name keeps getting mentioned as a possible nomination.
  • Tiffany has been careful but is working in that she thinks they can use him for a while.
  • Brent is sure he's being targeted because of his looks. Thus my caption on the screen cap I have of him.
  • So there.
  • There's a bit of talk about warning Brent before the show.
  • I hope not.

He keeps sitting in the nomination chairs.
Predictions, please?

Brent is still so sure she wants him to stay. Heh.

He's so vain he thinks this show is about him.

Tiffany is there to play the game, nothing else.

Hannah has no idea how vulnerable she is to the masses.

If Britini is a pawn again next week I just might cry!

No, not another new alliance!

BB23: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - July 28

Good evening! While this is indeed a show post and I don't allow spoilers from the live feeds here ... I am personally going to bend that a bit. Just a teensy bit with no real spoilers.

I think we're in for an entertaining show.

There. I said it. That was my spoiler. Heh.

I'll be live blogging the show's major happenings as it airs here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get the latest update! So, where's the party? Well, head on down into the comments area. You'll find it there!

We'll just sit through the "previously on" segment humming show tunes.

We pick up the action after the nomination ceremony. Xavier seriously thinks that having Britini as a pawn will convince Brent that she's the target. Well, um. Azah is upset and consoling Britini. She feels left out of her alliance (Cookout) decisions.

Xavier tries to talk to Britini. He tells us that it's the best move to make sure Brent goes. Of course, if he were to put up a Cookout member, that too would assure Brent is out. But Xavier is keeping to his promise not to nominate any of them.

Hannah tells us that she's so fed up with Brent that she's willing to take him out. (Not on a date like he would think.) Whitney wants him out.

Azah is still having issues over Britini being nominated. Derek F sympathizes but says it is what it is. Brent tells Xavier that he's not dumb, had been loyal, etc. He is not pawn material, but the target. He's right, but Xavier still tells him that Britini is the target.

Brent is sure that he has most of the house in his pocket. Yeah, right. Brent talks to Whitney, Derek X and Hannah. "Nothing about me screams pawn." They all nod but no one speaks up.

Oh, geez, Xavier breaks down in tears to Azah. She comforts him. She tells us that she understands he did what he felt best for his game. She then confronts Tiffany about her and Derek X targeting Britini in the Wild Card comp. Tiffany says it was to make sure Brent stayed on the block.

Tiffany tells Xavier about Azah confronting her. First cracks in the Cookout? Maybe. Xavier chalks it up to emotion on Azah's part.

Ah, the Not a Showmance between Alyssa and Christian. Not my favorite thing. Unlike the producers of the show, I don't care for the showmances, especially if they get to the point of soft porn on the live feeds. It's not quite to that point with these two, but ...!

Time to pick players for the Veto Comp. Xavier picks first and gets Houseguest Choice, goes for Christian. Brent draws Derek F. Britini draws Whitney. Derek tells us he would take Britini down if he wins. Whitney is more concerned that Brent stay on the block so they can send him home. Brent thinks both would save him.

The Cookout has drafted Hannah in ... to a point, at least.

SarahBeth hosts and it's time for the veto comp. Spinning and then bowling again with the participants in tutus! This time it's being done in rounds. They have to knock down the numbers not in their room numbers for each round. The winner each round chooses the match-up for the next.

Britini challenges Brent. Brent is having real problems. Even so, he eliminates Brtini.

Xavier challenges Brent. Brent is starting to get sick. He gets sick and eliminated, too.

Derek F challenges Whitney. Derek beats Whitney.

Christian challenges Derek F. Christian wins and Derek F is out.

Last challenge -- Xavier and Christian. Christian wins!

CHRISTIAN WINS THE POWER OF VETO!

Brent is sure he has the votes to stay. Delusional much, kid?

Yes, he is delusional. He's running around telling people that they need to keep the noms the same. Which, of course, is exactly what they plan. He thinks he's doing some kind of major epic BB move. What he doesn't know is that HE IS THE TARGET and all plan on blindsiding him.

Time for the veto meeting! Christian does not use the power of veto.

BB23: Live Feeds into Tuesday Night - July 27

For the next few weeks, maximum chillitude

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Chill Chinchillas:

  • I realize I didn't give you a report this morning. Had I done so, it would have read: Brent continues to think he's all that and can get them to vote out Britini, so much talk about what each one would do if they won HOH, Derek F complaining that the others don't clean up and tons of small talk.
  • To be honest, in between random feed blocks for unknown reasons, that could describe much of today as well.
  • There were a few things of note, though.
  • Xavier had a long talk with the camera (us) while alone in the HOH room.
  • I always love it when the hamsters do that.
  • He pointed out one by one that he's aligned with everyone in the house with the exception of Britini.
  • And, yeah ... he's even Number One on her hit list.
  • He says he won the comp to do what the majority wanted and to strengthen the bonds, won't win another comp until he has to for his own game.
  • He anticipates at least a few weeks of "maximum chillitude."
  • However, he did say this can all go as planned or fall right apart.
  • There is a bit of a crack in the Tiffany/Claire/Kyland bond. It seems both of the women think Kyland is trying to be a bit too controlling and take over. Uh-oh.
  • Kyland needs to step back on that one.
  • I think Claire and Tiffany (especially Tiffany) are the two who could bring anyone into the final four. Both know the game inside and out and play it like experts.
  • Lots of game talk but nothing particularly earth-shattering. We have too many "ifs" going on.
  • Brent is still pestering Hannah.
  • Perhaps she's tolerating it because she knows they're voting him out this week.
  • Perhaps she's tolerating it because she doesn't want to make him angry.
  • But if it were me, trust me ... he'd be leaving me alone.
  • That's pretty much all I have for you!

Carefully does make-up but does this to her hair

What? This is only the third week?

My future's so bright I had to put on shades

Doesn't that pose bother his left hand?

What if they had a season in which no one could cook well?

BB23: Live Feeds into Monday Night - July 26

Brent is running the house. Just ask him

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Rapping Rodents:

  • The only thing of real consequence that happened today was the Power of Veto meeting.
  • And, that wasn't of any real consequence at all.
  • We knew Christian had talked with Xavier and wouldn't be using the veto to save anyone.
  • And he didn't use it.
  • Ho-hum.
  • Britini has accepted that she's merely a pawn as much as she can. She's still not a happy camper and will target Xavier if she wins HOH.
  • She's making a new rap for a speech.
  • Although her rapping skills are a bit lacking I feel credit must be given to her for even doing it.
  • Shout-outs sound better to a rap beat.
  • Brent, although told time and time again that the target is Britini, is still convinced that he's the target because he's all that and a bag of chips.
  • He's right that he's the target. But it's more because he can be obnoxious and makes the women uncomfortable.
  • That said, he thinks he's talked people into voting out Britini and his plan is working because Christian didn't save her.
  • Oy.
  • Azah has calmed down some. However, I think the damage is done. She will never be a strong ally if she's such an emotional player.
  • That's about it. We had a lot of odd and lengthy feeds blocks today. I don't know why.

Derek X is coming along well for a recruit

Yep, another rap this week.

My hope for the final three

Dazed by the wonder that is Brent

Get it together, Azah!

BB23: Live Feeds into Monday Morning - July 26

We called those hats "fishing hats" when I was young.

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Trapped Terrapins:
  • Sunday is generally the day the least game happenings happen.
  • Combine the open backyard with no comps going on, veto pretty much decided and you pretty much have a whole lot of nothing.
  • And, yeah ... yesterday lived up to the reputation.
  • They played pool.
  • They laid about in the hammock.
  • They played in the pool.
  • They played volleyball.
  • They hung out in the hot tub.
  • Once inside, as this group has been, they have group activities as they do. Improv, group games, you name it.
  • This crowd generally gets along well with each other.
  • Brent thinks he does, but his own ego is his worst enemy.
  • And, he remains the target this week.
  • Azah feels she is being left out of the loop with the Cookout.
  • Well, she is -- to an extent anyway. Her hissy fit over Britini being nominated has decimated her own game.
  • Actually, I can see her and Derek F being the first ones out from the Cookout probably before Claire and Derek X.
  • I had high hopes for Azah, possibly because I adore her old school afro hair style. But if she wants to lose her game so Britini can stay in ... well, she ain't no gamer to me!
  • As various alliance groups met up, each discussed the pecking order of who would go when.
  • Talk of throwing HOH was talked. Derek X pointed out that it's easy to throw a comp yourself, but hard to throw it to a particular person.
  • Xavier is adamant that Britini NOT win HOH this coming week.
  • Yeah, I could see that.
  • Meanwhile, Britini has avoided answering questions about who she would nominate if she did win.
  • The pecking order seems to be Britini, Alyssa, Christian, Whitney, possibly Azah if she keeps acting out and playing emotional about other people's games and Derek F mainly because, other than cooking he generally lazes about in one of the nominations chairs or a bed.
  • Of course, not necessarily in that order and after Brent goes this week.
  • They talked about Brent getting so sick at the veto comp due to "motion sickness" yet he is a flight attendant on airplanes. Hmm.
  • Tiffany, BB gold this season, doesn't seem to be the target of anyone.
  • Even though Tiffany and Azah had words, I doubt Azah would even try targeting her.
  • One thing we might want to keep in mind ... Tiffany is the OLD person in the house. Now that Frenchie is out, she has about ten years or more of life experience than any of them.

Her relationship with Derek X keeps the target off her
 ... for now

Claire and Tiffany are the Thelma and Louise of the season!

Despite the showmance, Christian is more bearable as of late.

Not a showmance -- big alliance meeting!

Has repeatedly said he would be happy to make jury.
Let him.

Her days are numbered, mehinks.

Not even a boatmance going on here

I'm adding in this GIF from Hamsterwatch. The guys got facial sheets and this went down ...

BB23: Wild Card and Nominations Show Blog Party - July 25

Good evening! Amazing, isn't it? So far all the Sunday shows have started on time on the East Coast. I hope I didn't jinx things by mentioning that!

Please remember -- this post is a NO SPOILER ZONE. Many people who don't watch the live feeds read the show posts. Please keep your comments to what is happening on the episode or even totally off topic, but no spoilers! Merci.

I'll be live blogging, updating this entry as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get the latest update! As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!

Of course. I'm skipping the "Previously on" segment. But you knew that.

We pick up the action after Xavier's HOH starts. Britini is sure she's safe. No way would Xavier nominate her for the second week in a row. Brent is sure he's in with Xavier. Derek F tells us he's working with the Cookout and feels safe. Now, Alyssa is really safe as are all four Kings team members -- SarahBeth, Christian, Alyssa and Xavier.

Derek X, Kyland, Tiffany and Claire join up with them to work with the Kings. Azah is hoping her team might be safe. She doesn't know. They name their alliance the Royal Flush.

Brent is being his sexist self and making Alyssa uncomfortable. He is reminding me of Caleb stalking whoever that was some seasons back. It's a good think Alyssa has no bunny slippers. He's also after Hannah telling her all this ridiculous sexist stuff.

Tiffany talks with Xavier hoping that he will put Brent up. He's thinking Britini or Whitney to go up with Brent. Tiffany is a great manipulator leading him along.

Derek F thinks their are cute couples in the house. He wants Hannah and Derek X to get together. Hannah does have a crush on him. And, it seems like he's reciprocating! Christian and Alyssa are indeed cuddling together a lot although they don't want to admit showmance.

Derek X and Hannah talk about Brent. They threw the HOH comp just so Brent would not be safe. Now, that screams they want him out! Derek X, on the same team as Brent, tells us he has to play and throw the Wild Card so Brent will not be safe for sure.

Wild Card comp time. Tiffany wants to play to make sure the safety doesn't fall into the wrong hands. Tiffany, Britini and Derek X play the comp. Derek doesn't want Britini to win because he's thinking she will be on the block with Brent and doesn't want her to have safety. He will throw it to Tiffany.

The backyard us done up like a beach. There are balance beams. Unlucky 13 placing four giant cards that add up to 13 to eliminate another player. They can swap cards. Ohh ... Derek F sees them obviously going after Britini. Britini realizes it, too. In the heat of the moment Britini's mind goes math numb. Derek X makes the move and eliminates Britini. She's very upset. Tiffany knocks out Derek X. Her choice is to make herself and one member from each other team to be safe. Potentially Brent of Britini could be safe. Britini wants that safety!

She declines the offer of safety. She does that so Brent won't get safety although he thinks he's already safe.

Britini cries to her team. SarahBeth, Derek F and Azah all agree that Derek X and Tiffany were gunning for her in the comp. Azah is all confused. Britini cries some more.

Xavier and Tiffany talks about the merits of putting Britini and Brent up over Whitney and Brent. To do the latter he would be putting up two from the same team. Azah doesn't want him putting Britini up and tells him to put her (Azah) up in place of Britini.

Now, Xavier has already put things in motion by suggesting to Brent that he goes up as a pawn with Britini as the target. Brent thinks he would be indeed a target because he's such a threat in the game. After all, physically he's a big threat. He is right that he won't be a pawn and threatens his relationship would never be the same if put up as such.

Time for the Nominations Ceremony -- Xavier first nominates Brent, then Britini.

BB23: Live Feeds into Saturday Evening, Power of Veto - July 24

BB is into giving them tie-dyed clothes this season!

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Drama Llamas:

  • That bit of Tiffany live feeds video I posted earlier has some background to it.
  • Azah.
  • Britini.
  • As even the most casual watch the TV show only BB fan could predict, Britini is totally bent out of shape over being on the block even though she was once again told she's a pawn.
  • Now, that worked out fine for her last week, didn't it?
  • Before noms Azah was telling Xavier that she (Azah) needs to go on the block instead of Britini.
  • (Remember, Xavier was talking way too much in his one on one meetings!)
  • Now, as the kids would say, Azah is feeling some kind of way because Britini was nominated.
  • What kind of way, you ask?
  • A bizarre pouting angry passive aggressive moody kind of way.
  • Why? Her behavior is putting her own game in the spotlight. Sure, support your teammate. Console your teammate. Speak up a bit for your teammate if you feel the need.
  • But do NOT get so wrapped up in your defense of the teammate that you put your own game in jeopardy.
  • Xavier tried to convince Brent that Britini is the target.
  • Of course, Brent didn't buy that bridge.
  • He's mainly on the block for the way he treats women and his cockiness in general. He annoys people. He is being compared to Caleb in his stalking of Alyssa.
  • But, would those reasons ever enter his mind?
  • Nope! He's knows he's the target because he's just such a dangerous fantastic game player!
  • He is right that he's the target, not Britini.
  • But he's so wrong otherwise.
  • Meanwhile, Derek F is sitting around saying they need to nominate women and get them out.
  • He's saying that in earshot of women, mind you.
  • BB woke them up early and blocked the live feeds for the veto players pick.
  • In addition to Xavier, Britini and Brent playing we have Derek F, Whitney and Christian who was Xavier's Houseguest Choice pick.
  • Well, this should be interesting.
  • SarahBeth is hosting the comp.
  • The feeds didn't get blocked for the comp until nearly 3:30PM their time.
  • I've been waiting them out.
  • But I might give up, get this posted and post a brief bulletin when the feeds return.
  • Decisions, decisions.
  • CHRISTIAN WON THE POWER OF VETO
  • It seems it was a spinning one.
  • They all have tutus on.
  • Apparently Derek F did pretty much as I thought he would. He's sweating and coughing but he and the others are all laughing about it.
  • Apparently Brent did horrible, making Derek F look good. Brent got sick.

Whitney pedals a lot to go nowhere

Rarely without a shirt but he's exercising.

Azah, don't ruin your game acting out about Britini!

Still playing low key and mostly under the radar

Well, well, well ... he's playing in a comp

Xavier's HOH is messy even though most want one target

Christian is sporting the bling

Did someone clothesline Brent in the comp?

BB23: Just a Bit of Tiffany Live Feeds Video

I saw this on the live feeds last night and wished I could figure out how to video copy it. Then I saw it on Twitter by someone who knows how. I love it when Tiffany talks to the cameras! Language alert towards the end, though.

BB23: Live Feeds Wild Card, Nominations - July 23

Put me up, don't make Britini go through that again!

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Ruffled Feathers:

  • Xavier is making a few mistakes.
  • He earlier said his targets would be Brent and Whitney.
  • So, what does he do?
  • In his one on one meeting with Brent, he asks him how he would feel if he went up on the block.
  • OY.
  • They had the Wild Card Comp with Tiffany, Derek X and Britini playing.
  • Tiffany won and did not use. I'm not sure what the comp was but I would guess she didn't like the consequence of using it.
  • So, their Wild Card twist is running as a flop with one of three using it and Christian only used it as it was a good consequence all around with safety for himself and a person of his choice.
  • Britini, retaining her needy and emotional ways, thought Tiffany and Derek X conspired against her in the comp.
  • Tiffany had to console her.
  • Then, after a one on one with Xavier, she got all emotional about possibly going on the block.
  • Azah went to Xavier and was adamant that, if he planned on using Britini as a pawn, put her up instead. She does NOT want to go through the drama with Britini again for the second week in a row.
  • Tiffany had a long talk alone with the camera and us. If she thinks she's hated (and accepts it because, hey, that's just the way she is), she's got another think coming! My own opinion and what I've been seeing around social media is that her game and herself being herself is getting rave reviews.
  • Xavier seemed to want to pattern his HOH after Kyland.
  • In some ways he has been doing so.
  • But it's one thing that's screaming FAIL. He's talking too much!
  • Kyland would interrupt people and say he wanted to ask questions and not talk.
  • Xavier's talking and saying too much to those who stand the most to lose with him.
  • It's been feed blocks for most of the day between Wild Card and nominations.
  • Right now I'm waiting for the feeds to return so I can get the nominations in this update.
  • :::tapping foot:::
  • The nominees for eviction are (drumroll please) ... Brent and Britini.
  • Britini is crying.
  • Brent is being led to believe Britini is the target.

America, do y'all hate me?

Derek F likes to judge others

She's needy and Tiffany is a consoling kind of gal

Thankfully, not in danger this week

While not a Frenchie HOH, he's no Kyland HOH either!

BB23: Live Feeds into Friday Morning - July 23

Who wants to see my HOH room?

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Happy Hamsters:

  • Frenchie being gone is almost like a weight off their shoulders.
  • We know going into this week that the Kings and Queens have decided to work together.
  • So, that actually limits the possibilities for eviction nominees.
  • After the feeds came back Hannah and Derek X talked about it being easy to throw the comp once Whitney and Brent were out.
  • Hmm.
  • Now, if people intended to throw the comp to Xavier or whether they just didn't want to be HOH right now, I just don't know.
  • There is no hinky vote quibble or investigation this week as Derek F had already told everyone he would vote for Frenchie to stay.
  • Christian, although his hair styles are rather distracting, is not only safe this week because he's on the Kings team with Xavier, is getting along a lot better sans the Frenchie targeting him.
  • That said, his Not a Showmance with Alyssa has developed into quite the Is a Showmance.
  • I could do without that. But at least they haven't gotten to the soft porn stage within the first few weeks!
  • The Have Nots this week are the Queens -- Claire, Kyland and Tiffany
  • I believe they volunteered. There seem to be fewer complaints about the room this season and a couple of them want to go on diets so the slop will suffice. It's just that pesky cold showers bit they really would prefer not to do.
  • Before talks were even talked I figured this week's nominees would likely be Brent and Whitney.
  • Brent is reminiscent of BB seasons past -- sexist, puts foot in mouth and says the wrong things in front of the wrong people too often, thinks he's all that, plays up to and attaches himself to the hip (if he can) to the power in the house, etc.
  • Then there's Whitney. While she has been known to hang all over Xavier, I don't think that he is all over her at all. She too could have been a past season hamster.
  • Then initial talking with a few went down. Xavier is leaning towards nominating Whitney and Brent. Surprise surprise!
  • Xavier had a lengthy talk with Kyland asking for HOH advice -- what worked for him, what didn't. He plans to talk to the teams before the Wild Card today and then to the hamsters one by one before the actual nominations. He will do it alphabetically. How logical!
  • I just hope he doesn't do what Kyland did to a T as that was Kyland's thing. Xavier needs his own thing.
  • Whatever he does, I'm sure it will be an improvement over the Reign of Frenchie.
  • Not much can be decided until after the Wild Card Comp later today.

Xavier asking Kyland for HOH advice

Why? Just why? That's sillier than a man-bun!

Wins the Most Likely to be Nominated Award!

Waiting on the couch for the HOH room

I could use a neck and shoulder massage, Kyland!
