Big Brother: BB24 Live Feeds Report into Monday Morning - July 11

BB is not the dream she had imagined

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of wicked Ways:

  • The anti-Taylor Movement continues in the house.
  • At this point I'm surprised Paloma isn't on a streak about the way she breathes.
  • I believe it all started with Paloma's jealousy and then worked up to a frenzy with lies.
  • Sigh.
  • Not much has been going on.
  • Still lots and lots of small talk.
  • Sunday, as in past years, is a down day with no comps, no excitement.
  • Daniel is definitely leaning towards putting Taylor up as the renom. He knows she will be very mad. However, he knows she's a superfan and can possibly beat him.
  • But, then again, Daniel knows he's a better superfan than she is.
  • @@
  • Monte is Paloma's foot soldier in spreading the lies about Taylor.
  • I hear that if you lie enough about something you may think it's the truth.
  • He's going on about mean things Taylor has said about Paloma.
  • Say what?
  • Paloma started her anti-Taylor hate fest before Taylor even knew her name!
  • Jasmine must have read Twitter last year -- she doesn't want America to think all the Black people are teaming up.
  • Ameerah thinks that Paloma has a final two with Alyssa. Gee, y'think?
  • Pooch cooks ... Italian dishes, that is! Terrance and Pooch made dinner with Jasmine's occasional assistance.
  • Monte would like someone (other than himself) to target Daniel next week. He would like Michael to win HOH and nominate Daniel.
  • They need to stop staying up all night!

Quite the chef for being a coach

Nicole is likely to be targeted by

Big Brother: BB24 Nominations Show Blog Party - July 10

Good evening, hamster voyeurs! Tonight's episode should be a lot of filler and then the nominations. While Veto has already played out in real time, please keep comments about the show that's airing here -- no spoilers!

I will be live blogging the best I can with the major events as the show airs here on the East Coast. As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!

As per the norm, we will sit through the "previously on" segment.

The show picks up when they come inside from the HOH comp. Lots of introductions going around. Alyssa says she will play her social game in hopes of staying in the game. The Backstage Pass holders are very confused. Brittany is lying, claiming she's a toy tester. That makes me think of an old Tom Hanks movie.

Hmm. The editing is already pushing a Monte/Taylor connection. Turner claims to be an artist/rug maker. Okay. Indy says she's in training to become a sex coach. Oh my.

The Backstage Pass three women get black t-shirts which read Backstage while Pooch has a yellow t-shirt that reads Backstage Boss. The girls are upset that they have to wear them all week.

BB has an announcement for them -- Have Nots. Michael volunteers, as does Joseph ... then Monte and Kyle. The Have Not room has pool floaties for beds and they get towels as blankets.

Daniel and Nicole seem to be bonding. Daniel tells us he has decided she is going to be his final two. Nicole is already considering him her ride or die. They're calling themselves the Rogue Rats.

Paloma tells Alyssa there are snakes in the house. They decide they're a final two, ride or die.

They have the yard with the pool table -- there's a bumper pool table in the house -- and pool. Taylor is mingling with the men at the pool table. Paloma picks up on it and, whether jealous or not, fusses in the Diary Room about it. Now Ameerah and Brittany have joined in as Paloma trash talks Taylor because she's hanging out with the boys. She thinks they should band together and get the strong boys out of the house.

America's Vote -- Which Backstage Pass holder do you want to keep safe. Vote at this link - https://www.cbs.com/shows/big_brother/vote/#

Alyssa thinks Newark is a country. She was actually thinking Denmark. I live near Newark. It's not the happiest country (or city) in the world.

Ameerah goes to talk to Daniel. She tells him that the Have Nots volunteered to be such to avoid being nominated for eviction. He hadn't thought of that but now thinks it makes sense.

Jasmine lost her father with whom she watched BB. Paloma was talking ti to her about it and now respects her so much for opening up to her. Okay.

Michael goes to talk to Daniel in the HOH Room. He's coming across as nervous to me. Daniel, who prides himself on being a superfan, doesn't trust Michael, who tells him he's a superfan.

Terrance wants to lay low and make relationships. That said, he mentioned that he hasn't spoken game with anyone. He feels he doesn't fit in.

Paloma is pushing Taylor as a nominee to Daniel.

Time for the Nominations Ceremony. Daniel nominates Terrance, then Michael. He says it is because they haven't spoken enough or at all any game to him. He tells us that Terrance is his pawn, Michael is the target.

Big Brother: BB24 Live Feeds into Sunday Morning - July 10

Ameerah is on the anti-Taylor train

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Mean Girls, Mean Boys:

  • Ameerah, Turner and Indy were the three POV comp players in addition to Daniel, Terrance and Michael.
  • Don't ask me who picked whom. I don't know.
  • For all of those folks who were upset with the Cookout last year, not to worry -- the house is not divided by any racial causes this season.
  • It's more Many Against Taylor.
  • The movement started with Paloma and has spread through the house.
  • Monte seems to have made it his personal mission to get Taylor out of the house.
  • Why Paloma is so vehement, I don't really know.
  • However, she told Monte that Taylor said she wants him and Kyle out.
  • That seems to be a lie made just to rile Monte (and Kyle) up to join her cause.
  • It's a mess.
  • Taylor cried. They are definitely bullying her and she feels outcast.
  • No one is talking about any sort of loyalty to race.
  • Meanwhile, Daniel has said more than once that he doesn't want Terrance to be voted out.
  • Um. Why did he put him on the block then? That was before the Taylor stuff blew up. Why risk the one "older" guy in the house at all?
  • Not everyone in the house is on the Anti-Taylor Train, just most. Joseph and Brittany seem to be staying out of it as of late.
  • Of course, all the Anti-Taylor hamsters are pretty much playing a game of telephone mainly based on lies and Paloma started it all. Each time a lie is retold it's becoming bigger and bolder.
  • The veto meeting and possible (probable) renom won't be until tomorrow.
  • Daniel hasn't said he is going to put Taylor up but I will be shocked if he doesn't.
  • This Anti-Taylor movement would make nominating her the easiest thing for him to do.

If Daniel wanted him to stay,
why put him on the block?

Terrifying!

Uh-oh, Taylor looks a bit Audrey-esque

Now his sole goal is to oust Taylor.

Big Brother: BB24 Veto Comp Bulletin - July 9

The veto comp was held and the live feeds just returned. We do have a winner. I didn't catch -- or they didn't show -- who played for veto other than the nominees and Daniel (HOH).

Michael won the power of veto. Daniel will have to make a renom as Michael is sure to save himself.

The outfit has to be for veto!

Big Brother: BB24 Live Feeds into Saturday Morning - July 9

Indy, relieved she's not on the block.

Here's what's been happening inside that Big Brother House of Misfit Toys:

  • As I previously posted, Daniel nominated Michael and Terrance for eviction.
  • The Backstage Girls are still oblivious as to what their role will be on eviction night as is Pooch.
  • Paloma, Alyssa, Brittany have added Ameerah in their bizarre targeting of Taylor.
  • I'm still not seeing any logical reasoning behind their dislike of her. As far as I can tell, Taylor has been nothing but decent to them.
  • Paloma, in particular, seems to be growing more and more paranoid about people scheming.
  • Now, Taylor should be the one worrying about people scheming! Instead, she thinks the girls are just not talking game. @@
  • If she keeps up that gullibility, she will deserve be targeted!
  • To give the Backstage Girls credit, they were at least a bit right in one of their observations. They said the four guys who volunteered to be Have Nots did it hoping to avoid nomination. Sure enough, before nominations Joseph told Daniel that the ones doing Have Nots have been through enough already.
  • Michael is a bit upset with Daniel's choice to nominate him as he gave the reason the two (Michael and Terrance) didn't talk to him. He did talk to Daniel and Daniel pretty much cut him off.
  • Of course, I know from the feeds that Michael was Daniel's only real target from the start of his thinking noms.
  • Why, I'm not sure. But Michael seems to be rubbing a lot of them the wrong way.
  • Not that there's any massaging going on, mind you!
  • When He went to Daniel about it, Daniel told him he only talked once and everyone else talked twice.
  • Um. Really.
  • Daniel told Terrance he's not a target. Okay ...
  • Alyssa is already homesick and crying about it. @@
  • Brittany seems to be cozying up to Taylor, telling her she doesn't like the anti-boy vibes. Taylor does get along with the men. The Backstage Girls have it in for Taylor first, then the men.
  • Monte is all but insistent that the live show is Sunday. I guess he's not the show fan he pretends to be!
  • Hmm. After talking to Michael, Taylor wants to work with him and does not want him out.
  • They better get out of the habit of being up all night!
  • The backyard is closed and I expect the POV comp will be played today.
  • Laters ...
What's with the poof of blonde in the back?

Paloma was in the DR for over an hour.

Ameerah has fallen in with Backstage Girls

Pooch is very talkative

Open your eyes, Taylor!

Big Brother: BB24 Nominations Bulletin - July 8

HOH is fun until you have to choose ...

Well, Daniel wanted to be the first HOH, right? He's been saying he wants to put up macho guys (not saying it to the macho guys, though).

So, who does he nominate? Michael and Terrance. Um.

Up for adoption, not eviction

He still irks me

Here's what's been happening inside that Big Brother House of Aligning Aardvarks:

  • The game is at a stall until nominations and more comps.
  • Yet alliances seem to be being made all willy-nilly around the house.
  • Most will not last.
  • Turner irks me for a few reasons. First off, the hair. You can tell he thinks it's cool. Second, when he got fired by Mr.Beast, one of the most popular and successful people on YouTube, he went on a campaign to trash him and get his own name attention. Then there's his sister's Twitter rant about him. That one I'm taking with a grain of salt because she seems a bit out there herself.
  • Both Terrance and Indy are in fear of nomination. They think they don't fit in all that well -- he for his age, she for her accent and Brazilian background.
  • Daniel is in with Nicole -- they suggested the name Rogue Rats for their alliance. He says he wants the macho guys out.
  • We'll see who he nominates then.
  • Kyle seems to have some sort of father idolization thing going on over Terrance. I don't think it can be called an alliance, per se.
  • It seems just about all of them are fussing about clothes BB confiscated from their luggage. BB doesn't allow most logos outside of schools/universities due to advertising issues. They also don't like a lot of prints which might strobe in the cameras.
  • Pooch apparently isn't one of Daniel's "macho" targets as they were working together on trying to figure out nominations. They both think they will be easy targets next week as they were safe this week.
  • Turner ended up joining them and suggesting "the cat shirt guy" for a nom. That would be Michael.
  • Many of them are worse with names than I am at this point!
  • Like yesterday, lots and lots of small talk and non-game stuff.
  • And, even though there is a lot of pondering alliances, there don't seem to be many solid ones.
  • Hopefully things will spice up a bit today.

Hasn't mentioned he was an alternate

Not sure why there's a Twitter movement
to save her.

Nicole is fitting in with everyone

I should be spying on them!

Big Brother: BB24 Live Feeds into Thursday Evening - July 7

Doesn't want his noms to be "mean." Okay.

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Happy Hamsters:

  • Yeah, they're still happy for the most part.
  • Maybe Paloma and Alyssa not so much.
  • They both have a bug up their butts about Taylor for some reason.
  • Now, I don't think it was too cool for Taylor to mention she won a beauty pageant. But she did mention it and now it's coming back to bite her.
  • The two are referring to her as "Pageant Girl."
  • Not to her face, mind you.
  • They also claim she's rude and condescending.
  • Yet Taylor prepared their food for them. Hmm.
  • Ameerah and Brittany are also anti-Taylor.
  • The two also think that the four Have Nots volunteered to be such thinking that will save them from being nominated.
  • Sigh.
  • They still don't know what will happen with their Backstage passes.
  • Pooch is worried that, as Backstage Boss, he might have to nominate one of them.
  • The thought of a third nominee has been mentioned.
  • Nicole is trying to think of various slop dishes they could try. BB did give them a book of slop recipes, but she wants to experiment.
  • Surprisingly, Brittany and Turner have something going on. The cameras cut to them just as they were fist-bumping and saying they have to keep it to themselves.
  • What it is, I haven't a clue as the camera didn't catch it.
  • But there is something there.
  • Monte and Pooch have aligned.
  • Several of the guys talked about forming and naming an alliance.
  • Yawnsers ...
  • Maybe there will be nominations tomorrow and we will get some action.

Terrance thinks he is the odd man out.

Ohmm ...Ohmm ... Ohm

Turner is doing better than I thought he would

They got the yard and pool time today.

She has really decided to target Taylor

Big Brother: BB24 Live Feeds into Thursday Morning - July 7

I want a cat shirt, too!

So, any brouhahas overnight? A kerfuffle or two? Nah. Here's what I got from the first night of the live feeds in that Big Brother House of Talkative Hamsters:

  • Pooch wears a yellow Backstage Boss shirt while Paloma, Brittany and Alyssa wear black shirts which just read Backstage.
  • Daniel had to name four Have Nots and none of the backstage hamsters can be Have Nots.
  • Michael volunteered right away. He was followed by Joseph, Kyle and Monte. So, that went fairly easy.
  • The Have Not room is set up like a sort of pool cabana. They will sleep on pool floats (and pretend they're air mattresses?) and use towels as blankets. Oh, yeah. They do get pillows. I've seen worse!
  • Daniel did tell the others about his Elvis act in Vegas. He said it took him six years to get it and the gig will still be there for him after BB.
  • Both Nicole and Terrance said they applied for the show due to last season. They felt it gave them more of a chance.
  • Monte says that when he was in Germany he was mistaken for Will Smith. Now, I don't see that at all! Maybe he will slap someone. Heh.
  • Lots and lots of small talk and getting to know each other talk -- sometimes they were all talking at once.
  • Hmm. Kyle was raised Mormon and left the faith at 19 while Joseph was raised Muslim and also left his faith. He says he cannot go "home" to Syria to visit extended family. His father is old school and won't understand BB at all.
  • Paloma and Alyssa are already trying to start up a big six to eight person alliance. They think Kyle is a strong guy to add in it. Paloma thinks Monte is a snake. I cannot see a huge alliance built by them sticking, though.
  • Ah, the first final two pact sighting is afoot -- Paloma and Alyssa. Of course, one of them might be up for going home as they're both backstage and I see a "Save Brittany" movement going on over on Twitter.
  • Ohh! They have a bidet! I want a bidet! Terrance is a bit leery of it while Joseph says he loves them.
  • When Daniel was alone in the HOH talking to his Mom and us, he said he's been auditioning for BB for ten years and always wanted to be the first HOH.
  • At least he knows to talk when he's alone!
  • Taylor might want to watch herself -- Daniel told us that she (and Indy) are firecrackers and could go off very easily while Alyssa/Paloma both think she's condescending and gives off bad vibes.
  • Turner seems to be non-existent most of the time. He did say he is bisexual and many in his family don't know it.
  • Joseph says he doesn't want to curse in the house as his mother will be watching. His father doesn't speak a lot of English but would recognize the curse words.
  • According to the rules for Backstage, they cannot be nominated by the HOH, nor can they be put up as a renom. I guess it doesn't say anything about them being put up by a popular (or not) vote by America as a third nominee.
  • They have a pool table in the house. I think I prefer it being a yard only bonus. Oh, well. It's better than watching them play chess. At least they move around.
  • They are all still awake as I get this posted.
  • Nothing earth-shattering overnight.

Daniel talks to us alone in the HOH room

I do not have Will Smith ears!

Let's check this slop out!

Now I'm confused. Who is this one?

Like a slumber party.

Big Brother: BB24 Season Premiere Blog Party

Good evening! It's here ... our summer guilty pleasure. Just a few things before we get started:

  • I'm still not in great health but hopefully will be able to stay out of the hospital. I'm swamped with medical bills. So, if you wish to donate, now would be a great time!
  • I discussed -- with photos -- the new hamsters (no returning players) in posts here, here and here. The alternate hamster replacing one is here.
  • We, the people (as opposed to them the hamsters) will have some kind of vote/input starting tonight.
  • There is no eviction show tomorrow night. The next show is Sunday.
  • The blog pool sign-up post is at this here link. That is the only place to sign up for it -- anywhere else might be missed. The cut off is Friday noon PT, 3PM ET.
  • Apparently, the theme is some sort of BB Fest at a BB Motel. Um. Okay.
  • The live feeds are supposed to come on after the show airs on the West Coast. My first report probably won't be until morning.
  • Tonight's show is 90 minutes followed by a 90-minute season premiere of The Challenge. I will most likely watch the latter but won't be live-blogging it. Since it's mostly contestants from the shows we watch, I can set up a post and add a bit of commentary now and then if you want. Let me know.
  • Forgive me as I stumble over names for a while until I get to know who's whom. The cast reveal yesterday hasn't given me much time to get used to them.
Let's get this thing going!

Oh ... Julie is wearing a purple dress! Now, that's different. The house is a motel them. The prize remains the higher $750,000. Julie promises us a festival-themed summer called BB Fest.

The first four hamsters are revealed. Jasmine ran a farm but now has a nails business. Her father wanted her to be on the show but has passed away. Kyle makes dancing videos with his mother. He's unemployed and no longer Mormon. He lives with his parents. Paloma runs on the beach. She has her real estate license and is single. Monte has a degree in mechanical engineering but is a personal trainer. He thinks he is brawn and brains.

Julie tells them there are four stations with tickets to BB Fest. They are to grab one each. The stations each seem to have four tickets. Then they head to the backyard at Julie's direction. Three hot spots -- the PortaPotties - Paloma. Jasmine gets PortPotties, too. Monte, too. Kyle, too.

Time for the next four. Alyssa writes poetry and is fun and outgoing. Big show fan. Danie is an Elvis tribute artist and loves his work. Fan of the show and even watched the live feeds. Taylor was Miss Michigan USA and is very competitive. Michael is a criminal defense attorney. He's a MENSA member. Has watched BB since he was eight years old.

They're sent in the house to grab their tickets to BB Fest. Julie calls them to the backyard to scan their tickets. Michael gets the Merch Stand. Alyssa gets Merch as well. Taylor gets the Piercing Tent. Daniel gets Merch Stand.

Next four. Nicole is a private chef and ex-police officer. She is a lesbian. Turner is an artist and owns his own thrift store. He did a van life thing, too. Joseph is a lawyer and personal trainer. He is really muscular. He's Syrian/Palestinian. Brittany is a hypnotherapist and belly-dancer. She is a big show fan but will play funny, goofy.

They gather their tickets. To the backyard. Nicole gets PortaPotties. Brittany gets Piercing Tent. Turner also gets Piercing Tent. Joseph also gets it.

Last four now ... finally. Terrance is a bus driver in Chicago. He DJs after work. His family watches BB, Indy is from Brazil, has been here for nine years. She came here for a better life. She was a big fan of BB Brazil. Pooch or Joe Pooch is a college football coach. He and his mother have bonded over BB for years. Ameerah works for Google, works from home. Her family had to struggle but she thinks it made her strong.

The last four go in the house to get their tickets. To the backyard. Terrance gets Piercing Tent. Indy to the Merch Stand. Pooch gets a Backstage Boss. He has to take the spiral staircase upstairs and take a seat. Ameerah gets Merch Stand.

Three competitions. Pooch will not compete in any of them tonight.

The first competition is with the PortaPotties peeps. Potty Talk. They are all sitting in individual PortaPotties. They overhear comments and lock in answers for four rounds until one remains. Uh-oh they have to put on goggles. Which word was said the most times? All answered right except Paloma who got blasted with blue. Second round - All right but Jasmine answered last, so she is eliminated. Nicole out on the third round. Last round Both got it right but Monte was faster. Monte will compete in HOH comp.

Piercing Tent comp. Piercing Panic. Ten pieces of jewelry must correctly attach them to their faces. Oh my. Turner wins.

Merch Stand comp. Hanging Tough. Hang on to t-shirt above them, they will be lifted. Last one still hanging on wins after the rest fall. Daniel wins.

So, it's Monte, Turner and Daniel for HOH comp. But the Backstage Boss might change everything (teaser before commercial).

HOH Drumming For Power. The three have to assemble drum sets. Daniel wins the first HOH!

Julie tells them that Pooch will be backstage all week long, won't compete in any comps and won't vote. He cannot be evicted. Expect the unexpected. How Backstage Boss affects the others. He can send three others backstage. The three have the same perks he has, but they are not safe like he is.

Pooch chooses the ones out first in the comps. Paloma, Alyssa and Brittany. Huh. The three cannot be nominated but may still go home. The public will save one of them by voting on the CBS website.

Big Brother: BB24 Cast Hamsters Part 3

You can find Part 1 and Part 2 at those linked links!

Hmm, Kyle Capener is 29 and unemployed. What a catch! Ahem. He's from and still resides in Bountiful, Utah. Bountiful with what, I ask? Unemployed men?

In his Parade bio he's on the talkative side and admits to being a bit goofy. He seems to have a good take on timing and avoiding conflict when playing the game. We'll see.

Here she is -- the "old lady" of the show at 41-years-old, we have Nicole Layog. She's from Fort Lauderdale, Florida and remains in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In her Parade bio, she doesn't come out and say it, but it sounds like she just could be a superfan. She talks about not liking "floaters" but doesn't go so far as to advise a life vest. It sounds like she has a good take on the game. We'll see.

Now, I'm not sure it was Paloma Aguilar, but I saw an interview with houseguests. I think it was her with the vocal fry voice. That's going to be annoying. My apologies if it was someone else. I think it was her, though. She is from San Marcos, California and still resides there. In her Parade bio she claims to be a team player who doesn't like snakes or manipulators on her team. What game does she think she's playing?

Here he is ... the sole man up there near 50! Yeah, 47 is OLD for this show! Terrance Higgins is from and still living in Chicago, Illinois. As a bus operator there, he must have some stories! In his Parade bio he claims to have a sort of alpha vibe. Uh-oh. That and the fact that he's so much older than just about everyone else may shorten his stay in the house. Only one other person is over 40 and she's 41.

Big Brother: BB24 Cast Hamsters Part 2

You can find my Part 1 of the cast posts at this here link.

Let's see what we can find out.

Alyssa Snider (not to be confused with Alyssa BB23) ... not finding much on her. Searches keep wanting me to look for Snyder instead of Snider. She's from Sarasota, Florida and still resides there. She apparently lives under a rock there. I'm getting nothing!
Update - Parade bio link

My gaydar went off almost like Peter Parker's Spidey-senses with Michael Bruner. I haven't even heard the dude talk yet. His fiancé posted on Twitter how proud he and their three fur-babies (cats) are of him. Well, anyone who loves three cats can't be bad. He's also a fan of BB's Janelle. So, he knows the show. But he is a lawyer. Hmm. I can't find any dirt on him. That's good -- we don't need a problematic lawyer in the house!
Update: his Parade bio. He is against house votes! Yay!

Leave it to someone from Staten Island to be called Pooch. Joe Pucciarelli sounds like he should be related to Vinny Barbarino. He probably has the accent to go with it, too. (Yeah, I can knock Staten Island NYC as it's nearby and the "stars" of Jersey Shore were mostly from there.) But, Poochie here has defected. He now lives in Boca Raton, Florida. Here's his "Coach Pooch" info at this link.
Update: His Parade bio. After reading that, I think I like him.

Ameerah Jones is from Westminster, Maryland and still resides there. It's kind of surprising that there are so many people in the world named Ameerah Jones. Sure, Jones is common. But Ameerah with that spelling? I gots nuthin'

Monte Taylor. From Bear, Delaware (hey, it rhymes!) and still lives in Bear. But, I doubt he's bare in Bear. Yeah, I'm messing around because I don't have much on him, either. He's too young to be the football player with the same name.

Update: His Parade bio. While they list him as a personal trainer, he has a degree in mechanical engineering.

Well, Taylor Hale is only 27 but her favorite BB season was BB3. (Yeah, I found out a bit more info on this one.) She likes strong women players -- her two favorites are Janelle and Danielle Reyes. I have to say ... I admire those two and Danielle would have won BB3 if the voting cast had not seen the Diary Room sessions! She just might be a contender!
Update: Her Parade bio. She talks a lot. After reading the bio, I'm not sure she will be a lot like her two favorites. She will depend on her wit and charm. Um. Okay.
