BB25: Veto Meeting Over Bulletin - Aug. 21

Why she wears a hair roller ...

Thanks to a commenter here on the blog I found the history/mystery behind Blue's silly bangs hair roller. It's a new Korean Gen Z thing as described in this article. I guess we did silly things at that age.

But that's probably not what you came here for. We had an extended We'll Be Right Back Nether Region blockage (ew!). Apparently there may have been problems with the signal or power with the adoptable animals feed. Then the volume increased (they really need to check that!) and we got the adoptable animals. When the feeds finally came back after HOURS ... Hisam is on the block in Jag's place. He thinks he will look like an absolute moron. He's been honest and open with them, they will see.

UPDATE: Whoa, they are talking about Security being called in. Oh my. Ah, not as exciting as it sounds. Bowie Jane and Izzy were talking about it. It sounds like they were just there as stand by in case of problems.

Not taking it well

Matt's hat and sunglasses make a creepy face!

BB25: Live Feeds into Monday - Aug. 21

I can see clearly now ...

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Hurricane Hamsters:
  • They know it's raining hard. They can hear it. Yesterday a few were talking about how they thought it never rained in Southern California.
  • Gee, that could be a song!
  • Yes, it can rain there. I used to live not far away from where they are. I will say it didn't rain often and I never saw a tropical storm while there.
  • Bowie was talking about the roof leaking a bit. But I saw no deluge.
  • BB, in a feeds block, must have told them about the storm and the earthquake north of them as Hisam mentioned both happening. However, it doesn't seem that any of the hamsters even noticed the earthquake.
  • Alliances continued to grow, shrink, meld, form ... you name it.
  • The newest large one is the Savage Seven -- Cirie, Matt, Jag, Blue, Jared, Felicia and Izzy.
  • We'll see how long that lasts.
  • Izzy cried because she feels/knows that she's at the bottom of her original alliance of four.
  • Heck, she's been at the bottom since the day she joined up with Cirie and Jared.
  • The Jared and Blue thing is getting way too much live feeds attention. No, they are not having sex. But, yes, they talk so much about dating stuff, clubs, how Jared wants not to hurt his girl at home, how Blue has someone at home, how Jared's mother was on a reality show .... screech those brakes!
  • Yes, he actually said that. Thankfully Blue is a recruit. She doesn't watch any of the shows.
  • Meanwhile, Jared is telling others he would have no problem voting out Blue if it came to it.
  • I know, just with some of the things he's said, if his mother was not in the house, he would be blatantly sexual with her not caring about cameras or his "girl at home."
  • Jared goes between saying Blue is nothing to saying it's serious.
  • Gag me with a spoon, please.
  • Red and Cameron want to mobilize against Cirie and company. They think Cirie calls the shots.
  • Yes, she does.
  • Hisam continues on being his merry little self.
  • The Veto Meeting will be later today.
  • We'll see how happy he is after that.

Is America floating through the storm?

Hisam still feels safe.

Has Meme abandoned ship?

Maybe Cirie should check on Jared!

And Izzy cried ...

He took his huge chicken feet off.

Cameron knows it all ... just ask him.

Cory has a showmance!

BB25: HOH Show Blog Party - Aug. 20

Good evening! I guess we can totally forget the idea of BB ever having the HOH comp on the Thursday live show ever again. They have made it the Sunday show regular fodder. I guess that does give them something better than the filler stuff they used to show on Sunday nights. But at least show the comps on the live feeds as they go down after the live show!

That aside ... I will be live blogging this show, constantly updating this entry as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get the latest updates! As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!

Let's start off with a recap! I guess the show is getting what they want -- a showmance segment is expected.

We pick up the new action after Reilly's Memory Wall photo went grey. There's a movement to get Hisam out with Cameron leading the charge. Cirie thinks it's great that it would be Cameron with the blood on his hands. Blue is crying to us about Reilly leaving. Now Jag, but no tears. We do see Reilly telling her alliance to vote with the house and not risk their games for her.

She's gone and Matt cries. Jag and Blue are with him but can't do much to console him.

Hisam is all dressed up like a bad salesman to host the HOH comp. A bunch of large noses are in the yard. The comp is Snot a Winner from the Humiliverse. It's one of the crap shoot type comps having them roll a ball and eventually hit a number. Two lowest are Have Nots.

Matt 10. Cory 20. Mecole 27. Two fives in a row, one America, the other Red. Cirie 29. Izzy 45. Felicia 53. Jag ... into commercial ... 37. Blue 12. Cameron 27. Jared 42. Bowie Jane 48.

FELICIA WINS THE HOH COMP!

Red, America and Matt are Have Nots for the two lowest scores. Felicia has to, when called, take snot showers, each time choosing someone to go with her. First snot, green slime and she chose Bowie.

Blue seems to be crying to us over nothing. Hisam is sure he's safe this week and feels amazing! Matt and America talk -- they both think they are probably safe this week. More tears from Matt about Reilly. He tells us he's not sure where he stands with Felicia.

Izzy tells us it should be a backdoor plan and Cirie confirms it. Cirie, Izzy and Felicia talk in the HOH Room - we saw no HOH room reveal or letter from home or anything. Felicia is considering the backdoor Hisam but she doesn't want the HOHship to come back to bite her.

More snotting. This time she brings Blue. Izzy next. Jared. 3:05AM -- Jag. Matt. They all have to watch from the stands. Hisam.

Hisam talks to Felicia in the HOH. He tells her he wants Jag out. She tells him she was thinking Cameron. He tells her Jag is aligned with Matt and Blue -- Matt should be put up with him.

Jared and Blue are flirting. Jared tells us he can't see himself showmancing just yet ... but. Definitely a flirtmance. He tells us she's bluetiful.

Felicia talks to Jag, telling him she needs him and Cameron to be the pawns. Jag is worried. He knows pawns can go home. Felicia tells him she needs Jag to be comfortable. He would be comfortable with Jag on the block.

Matt is talking to Cirie and Izzy. They are getting to know each other. He tells us it was good to talk to them about his disability. Cirie tells us Matt is educating her about deafness and Matt himself.

Cameron's turn in the HOH room to talk to Felicia. She tells him that she wants to backdoor Hisam and would like to use him as a pawn and to try to win the Veto. Felicia tells us their hope is that Cam will win the veto.

Time for the Nominations Ceremony. And, of course, it's Snot-o'clock. Cory has to go with her. That's the last one, punishment over. In slime, she has to go through with the ceremony. She nominates Jag, then Cameron. She says they had court today, it was in session and thank you all for attending. She tells us again the plan is to Backdoor Hisam.

Both nominees vow to win and want Hisam gone. Hisam tells us he doesn't need to win any comps right now and feels safe.

BB25: Live Feeds into Sunday Morning - Aug. 20

Sometimes life is a chicken playing pool.

My head hurts. Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Chaos Critters:
  • If you didn't catch my last live feeds update, Jag won the Power of Veto.
  • We all know he will take himself off the block.
  • Then there's that big Blindside Hisam that will kick in.
  • After all, everyone in the house except Hisam is in on it. It's all come coming to fruition just as planned!
  • Scratch that plan. That car crashed. Think of last week, rinse and repeat.
  • Wait, let's put that plan right back up there. Maybe if we throw it at the wall, it'll stick!
  • Yep, you got it.
  • Like last week but even earlier as now it's all about the renom, not the actual vote.
  • Red should go up! No, Blue should go up! Let's put America up! Is Meme still on our side? Will America and Meme (Mecole) flip to that other side? How about Bowie? What's that Cory up to now?
  • Felicia plans to tell Hisam that they spread the blindside story to see who talked.
  • It's outright dizzying. I think I'm in some kind of sensory overload here.
  • The latest seems to be back to Blindside Hisam. That, mind you, is subject to change at any moment. Or not.
  • About the only one not on the Cirie/Felicia side who hasn't been a serious option of theirs for renom is Matt. They really like him.
  • Plus, Matt, hearing issue put aside, is very unfamiliar with the game itself and just seems like a very nice guy.
  • Hisam remains oblivious to all of this going on and remains in his Nice Guy persona. (Unlike his Power Guy persona.)
  • In other news, like Felicia's sliming showers HOH punishment, Jag has a chicken suit punishment for winning Power of Veto.
  • Jared is still playing his "I have a secret" bit while flirting with Blue.
  • Cirie thinks that Blue is playing Jared and might be off of it now because he declined kissing her due to all the cameras.
  • Me? I think it's a dangerous thing for him and eventually he will tell her about Cirie.
  • Whose game would that blow? Probably more Cirie's than his own.
  • One of the interesting things they discussed is the lack of BB supplying them alcohol this year. While Jared was a bit wrong telling Blue that BB used to give alcohol each week after the live show -- wrong as they go into HOH comp -- he's right that they would get it.
  • Now, so far, only in the HOH basket there is alcohol. Last week, since Hisam doesn't drink, he gave it all away to others.
  • Maybe production thinks if they mix alcohol into this mess, they will all have motion sickness.
  • Anyway ... in case I made you dizzy and confused reporting on the dizziness and confusion in the house ... the latest plan at the moment is back to Blindside Hisam.
  • If so, Felicia might even use Hisam's own words when nominating him.
  • In his constant push to have Matt be the target, he told Izzy, "Why get a knight out when you can get a king?"
  • We have a day to go before the veto meeting, so the plan might change 423 times between now and then.

We need to get Matt out.

Matt is endearing himself with Cirie.

No way will you go on the block, Matt!

Will she flip sides?

Too many know. We need to stick to the plan.

BB25: Live Feeds - We Have a Veto Winner - Aug. 19

The live feeds were blocked to both the veto picks and the comp.

Veto players were Felicia, Jag and Cameron with picks of Cory, Izzy and Red. Bowie hosted.

When the feeds returned after the comp, Jag was wearing the veto necklace and a big Santa hat over his turban. He was all gooey and took an outdoor shower. The plan is in motion.

Showering off the goo

BB25: Live Feeds into Saturday - Aug. 19

I sense danger ahead ... maybe.

Good morning! What are those Rascally Rabbits up to inside the Big Brother House? Here goes:
  • Okay, now every single person except Hisam knows of the Backdoor Hisam plan.
  • Y'see, Cameron couldn't resist telling Red, the only one beside Hisam who wasn't in on it, the plan.
  • Red told him he wanted to bring it up to Felicia.
  • No! No! Cameron told him to keep it to himself.
  • But what if I suggested the idea to Felicia to see how she reacts?
  • No! No! Just leave it alone!
  • But could Red leave it alone?
  • Nope.
  • He was talking to Bowie (who has been seen more in the last few days than in the last few weeks) and told her he really wanted to talk to Felicia because he felt like something was going on and he wasn't in on it.
  • Bowie ran to Izzy, then Felicia to warn her.
  • So, the talk went down.
  • As they talked, with both Bowie and Cirie in the room, Felicia told him her plan was to evict Jag. If Jag or he (Cameron) came off the block, it would be Matt on the block.
  • Red kept talking and suggested that this could be the opportunity to backdoor someone ... someone the whole house would go for.
  • That was enough for Felicia to suggest Hisam.
  • Red was all over that suggestion and acted all gung-ho.
  • He said that Hisam was NOT in the room when the original Professors started but he (Red) was.
  • He suggested bringing in Cameron in the Professors to replace Hisam. Um. Er. He still has no clue that if all doesn't work out, it will be Cameron going home instead of Jag.
  • By the way, Red's hillbilly accent all but disappears unless he's playing his persona for the camera or to entertain others.
  • Will Red not tell Hisam?
  • I think he just might keep the secret. If he's thinking long term, Hisam is so good at comps and is a huge threat. Plus, he thinks he has the Professors plus side alliances.
  • Actually, he is on the short list for eviction with many in the house, both major sides.
  • I'm not sure that evicting Hisam will bring both sides of the house together as much as some of the hamsters think it will. But most are saying now that that's one goal and mini-alliances between camps are indeed forming. Will they last? I just don't know.
  • Meanwhile, Hisam is as happy as a clam at high tide -- when the predators are away. He thinks it's a smooth ride this week.
  • He has told others he doesn't want to play for or win the veto and feels he needs to back off winning comps for a bit. He is sure Jag will be voted out or Matt will be a replacement nomination and he will be evicted.
  • Everyone wants him to keep thinking that. They need him to think that for the plan to come to fruition.
  • The problem I see with the plan, other than a possible veto win by Hisam, is that too many people know and there is too much time to keep it secret. Of course, by after the Monday veto meeting if all goes down, all will be in the open. That should be very entertaining!
  • In other secrets news -- Jared and Blue.
  • They are getting closer and closer.
  • Jared told her he has a secret but can't say it all right now. Hmm.
  • Now, to his credit, he did lie in the bits he told her.
  • He told her his mother lived in CT, his Pops in NJ. That much may be true. I really don't know the status of Cirie and his father.
  • He went on to tell her he has 11 brothers and mentioned at least one sister. As far as I know, he has two brothers in real life, no sisters.
  • Then he made comments about knowing what the aftermath of being on a game show like this would be ... as he was on one before. But then he cut off saying he can't say any more about it.
  • Oh my. If he's telling her all of this less than three weeks into the show, how is the secret about his mother going to last three months?
  • There is a lot of buzz going around about the Jared/Blue showmance.
  • Right now, I see them growing closer and closer talking.
  • Will it go physical? With Cirie in the house, I don't think he would dare. But, then again, he is indeed a grown man even if Cirie thinks of him as her little baby boy. I personally can't see the two of them clicking after the game unless he wins. An exterminator, unless he owns the company, doesn't really jibe with a social media influencer type too well.
  • I do wish he would tell her to stop wearing that stupid roller on her bangs 24/7 except during comps and the live shows. I don't even see what effect it has on her bangs!
  • That's the major excitement of the feeds into the time they all bedded down.
  • The POV comp is today.
  • When I know, you will know.
  • Laters!

Blue ain't nothin' to him. Yeah, right.

Practicing his sad face.

Backdoor Hisam? Cool, Red!

I felt left out of the loop.

BB25: Live Feeds - Nominations are in! - Aug. 18

The live feeds were blocked for the nominations ceremony -- at least at the start. We had a hot mic session for the start of it all! They already had adoptable animals for a good half hour or more. I had the feeds minimized and volume low when I heard, "It's time for the nominations ceremony." Say what?!? Heh. Numerous invites from Felicia trying to get the line right telling them to gather for the nominations ceremony! The producer is telling them to check their mics. Maybe he should check his! He lectured them on mic placement, then WHAM. The theme music blared. So, we know the actual ceremony started at 6:45PM ET.

However, the feeds came back at 7:20PM ET. As expected, Felicia nominated Jag and Cameron. No fireworks, no fisticuffs. Hisam thinks just about everything is going as planned. Um, yeah, Hisam. We'll know more about going to plan after the veto comp tomorrow. Wink, wink.

If you are unaware of the plan, check out my last post.

BB25: Live Feeds Pre-Nominations - Aug. 18

Whatever will Felicia do?

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of a Geriatric Gerbil HOH:

  • As you know from my last post, Felicia won HOH.
  • Yes, really.
  • Of course, Cirie and Izzy are in her ear.
  • But the plan is in motion and, so far, she's handling the HOH one on ones so much nicer than did Hisam.
  • Oh? The plan?
  • Put up Cameron and someone else from the other side, someone wins the veto, Hisam gets backdoored.
  • If it goes to fruition, we're likely to see another unanimous vote, hopefully the last of the season.
  • Matt, bereft and teary last night over the loss of Reilly, did cheer up when, in his talk with Felicia, she assured him she won't put him on the block no matter what.
  • She says she knows she herself is an underdog as is he due to his hearing issues. No way will she put his game in danger.
  • (At least, not at this time.)
  • She also told him of the backdoor Hisam plan.
  • She talked to Jag telling him she will most likely put him up as a pawn with Cameron. If no one uses the veto, Cameron is the one who has rubbed folks the wrong way, not him. Cam would be evicted.
  • She told him of the Backdoor Hisam plan.
  • Jag brought up Hisam winning the veto and taking Cam off.
  • In reply, she told him her replacement would be Red and Red has less folks backing him than Jag.
  • Jag told her he would rather the sides dissipate and everyone each play their own games. She said that would be a lot less stressful.
  • Even though all were ticked at Jag yesterday for apparently going around shortly before the live show saying the vote had flipped trying to get people to keep Reilly, he is not the target this week.
  • Matt, America and Jag compared notes. All believe Felicia is being honest.
  • Now, is this her real plan?
  • I actually think so. I'm a bit irked at BB production people who keep switching off feeds when I'm trying to follow a conversation.
  • So, there's always a chance I might miss something.
  • However, even though Hisam is back to nice guy again, he had every single person in the house angry at his HOH reign -- and that had only a bit to do with nominating Reilly. It's the way he treats people when he has power, plus the fact that he's made himself a huge threat in comps. There may not be another great opportunity.
  • Hisam has been told Jag is the target. He pushed for her to put Matt up with Jag just as Cirie said he would.
  • Nope. Not gonna happen, Hisam!
  • He's thrilled to death that Felicia won. He may change his mind Monday.
  • Red has not been told of the Backdoor Hisam plan.
  • Jag will play sad and campaign. Everyone plans to play along.
  • Mecole is thinking the maths are mathing a bit better this week, will probably play along with the plan. Last week it would have just made a mad Hisam in the house. This week, if he goes, it doesn't matter how mad he is and it does break down the two sides in a combined effort.
  • In other news, Matt and (I believe) America are Have Nots.
  • Plus, BB is taking turns slime-showering all of them.
  • Ew.
  • In yet other news, Felicia got spices she requested in her HOH basket. She has a point -- garlic salt is NOT as good as garlic powder. Not the same at all.
  • I will update after nominations come in, I'll post a bulletin.
  • But I expect the noms to be Cameron and Jag.

Don't get REAL comfortable Bertha!

Can Jared look any more like Cirie?

She just started appearing yesterday.

Poor Matt was bereft last night.

BB25: We Have an HOH Winner Bulletin - Aug. 17/18

Hisam must have hosted

Yes, we have a new HOH in the house! No, we didn't see the comp play out on the live feeds.

FELICIA IS THE NEW HOH!

Really ... she is. I wouldn't lie to you.

Felicia has the key!

BB25: Live Eviction Show Blog Party - Aug. 17

Good evening! We know for sure there will be an eviction tonight. What we don't know is whether it will be Reilly or Cameron heading out the door. In my opinion, he irks me and she cries too much. So, it's no skin off my nose or whatever saying fits which one leaves. I have personally given up the thought that we will have a live HOH comp on the show. It seems that the producers have that set for Sunday evening show content these days. If the HOH comp plays out on the live feeds tonight, I will cover the action in a new live feeds post.

I will be live blogging the show as it airs here on the East Coast. As I will constantly be updating, refreshing this page will give you the latest happenings. As always, the real party is in the comments section. I hope to see you there!

But first ... let's get that blog pool posted. If your hamster gets evicted tonight, you are out of the pool. No battle-backs! Luke and Kirsten's blog folks were reassigned due to expulsion and first eviction. But no more mercy! Sure, you can hang around with us and we can all BB fake hug you as you get the boot, but Lifeguard SueGee will take your names off and might even send you to the Nether Region. Ahem. She won't do that -- that sounds too disgusting. Here is where the blog pool stands going into the show:

Cory - Sharon N, Nickelpeed, Indiana Jane, deaflady
Felicia - Dr Celine, Auntie Leigh, NoraM, T-Town Chick
Reilly - KelseyNY, Cherry Pie, TS14Fan, KathyB
America - Andi, Joanne Victoria, Willie J, Caela
Bowie Jane - Jasonuwp, Sally, Rachel C, Jessica U, Joyce Johnson
Mecole - cctru, Lili, Marthalight, MikesGirl, quixoticelf
Cirie - Petals, Janice, Krysta, RJM in SC, Skyriverblue
Matt - Brenda, Helenann2k, Brent McKee, Chrob61
Hisam - jo C, SueGee, David, ThunderSunflower, Pearl
Cameron- Cheryl in NC, JonMD 1267, CherylNY, Tilde
Red - DonnaNY , ChaCha, Donna in Florida ,YoDave, Ayana
Jag - Barbara W, Jackie, Donna in Alabama, Mary C
Izzy - Michelle, Glenn Allen, Jennasmom, ChicMc
Blue - monty924, Judi Sweeney, Jennifer, Don
Jared - Bizaro22, TBone, PDX Granny, Fred aka TwoBlackAces

Let's get this show started! Hey, it's 9:02PM here. Where is the show? Ah, finally Ghosts is ending. That's odd.

Juie has kind of a cute light pinkish slacks and jacket on tonight. She tells us one will go home forever tonight. Then we are into the recap.

Is there trouble in paradise with the Professors alliance? We find out tonight!

It's Day 16. Julie reminds us that Hisam is ruling the game with three comp wins in a row.

But first ... Hisam's veto speech may not have gone over as planned. Reilly sniffles in the Diary Room about Hisam singling her out as his target in front of everyone.

Jag tells us that they have six votes to keep Reilly and they need one additional vote to keep her in. Izzy and Cirie think Hisam's speech may have gotten more sympathy than she had before. Cirie feels that she and Felicia could be safe. But she doesn't know if crossing Hisam would be good for her game.

Cirie talks to Matt, tells him that Reilly has been nothing but nice to her and Felicia. Cory, Blue and Izzy talk about Hisam's speech ... he was extra according to Izzy. Cirie and Felicia say they need to decide which move is the best for their own game.

Heh. We're into Cameron's thinking that Felicia is Denzel Washington's sister. That was hoot on the live feeds. He thinks mannerisms, the way she talks, etc. Bwahahaha!

Jag is talking to Cirie trying to get her to keep Reilly. He tells her it would be a blindside. Cirie is thinking about it because Hisam alienated so much of the house.

The Professors have a little party in the HOH room complete with beverages. He talks to them about how Reilly's group will scramble post-Reilly. Jag suggest Blue and Jared on the block. Oh my. Felicia and Cirie are ticked off that Hisam thinks he's totally in charge. He tells them to be mindful that others may try to create alliances with them.

Izzy tells Cirie that Hisam is going crazy, suggests backdooring Hisam next week. Felicia doesn't want him to target Jared. Suprisingly (heh), Cirie agrees.

Still in taped bits. Hisam decides he needs to go around talking to people and asks America what will go on post-Reilly, tells her Reilly split the house in two and he was actually trying to work with the other side. America thinks she might be able to use the information. She tells Cameron. He runs to Cirie, Izzy and Felicia with the news after America told him not to tell anyone. They talk to Mecole about it. Cirie says Bowie doesn't do well with a lot of information. Hisam's talk makes them feel like they are useless.

Mecole tells us she's stressed. She doesn't know if getting Hisam angry at them is best for the house.

To the living room.

Cameron - Reilly is amazing and incredible, Mom, love and solidarity with houseguests thanks all

Reilly - Compliments Julie, shout outs, built a family with houseguests, she is teary, hope to all remain friends.

The votes to evict:
Red -- Reilly
Bowie Jane -- Reilly
Jag -- Reilly
Cory -- Reilly
To commercial ...
Matt -- Reilly EEK!
Blue -- Reilly
Cirie -- Reilly
Felicia -- Reilly
America -- Reilly
Mecole -- Reilly
Izzy -- Reilly
Jared -- Reilly

Second unanimous vote. Reilly is expecting it. She hugs Cameron. Hisam hugs Matt and thanks him for voting her out. We see the BB fake hugs abound. Last and deepest hug went to Matt.

After she goes out, Hisam runs around hugging all with a rather smug look on his face.

She tells Julie that she told her alliance not to risk their games (Hisam fear) to save her if it looks like she won't have the vote. She is shocked when Julie tells her about Cirie/Jared. She is handling the interview very well and held up with the goodbye messages from Izzy and Matt, looked disappointed at Jag's goodbye.

Julie tells us the ScaryVerse is back next week. We got a sneak peek at what must be the HOH comp tonight. Pressure Cooker next week. But if the comp is on the feeds, I'll cover it. If it isn't I'll report on the winner. That's the next post!

HOH comp backyard

The BB Blog fake hugs go out to those out of the blog pool -- KelseyNY, Cherry Pie, TS14Fan, KathyB

BB25: Live Feeds into Thursday - Aug. 17

A rare Bowie Jane sighting!

Good morning fellow hamster voyeurs! Before we get going with this, I would like to thank those who donated to the blog. I did notice an issue with the Buy Me a Coffee system. They apparently don't accept payments from credit cards outside the United States. I had two CC payments for $5 each, one from Brazil, the other Belgium, that failed. (Yes, my statistics show I have readers from pretty much all over the world which I find very cool.) I do appreciate the efforts of those two readers, though. I believe PayPal does accept bank payments outside the US, plus makes it easier for me to thank folks. Thank you all again!

So ... what's been happening inside that Big Brother House of Drama Llamas?

  • Cirie is trying to backpedal to Jag and Reilly over the flip. She has Izzy with her for the talk but told her to be quiet.
  • Just on Tuesday it looked like the Save Reilly campaign might result in a near unanimous vote.
  • But then common sense and the long game plan came to Cirie and Izzy.
  • Why would they get Hisam, the condescending King of Comps on their side, mad at them this early in the game?
  • As Mecole so wisely put it the other day -- the math is not mathing up.
  • Sure, everybody is upset with Hisam and he put a huge target on his back.
  • Hisam cannot play for HOH this week.
  • But if nominated, he CAN play for veto. Although odds are against someone winning four comps in a row, it could happen. He's that good at both physical and mental comps.
  • Now, if he just had a social game!
  • Cirie is trying to convince Jag and Reilly that their own side is lying to them and will vote Reilly out, so she and Izzy must follow suit.
  • "It's not my doing and I can't control it. People want to vote with the house."
  • Hmm. Actually, right now, it looks like there won't be a house vote this week. Things will probably split along the battle lines of the two sides.
  • That leaves people like Cory and Jared stuck.
  • Both have been playing both sides of the house and they will have to show their cards.
  • Reilly's bunch claims they want to target the floaters (after Hisam).
  • But they do consider Cirie a player.
  • They seem very unsure of Cory, Mecole, Bowie and Red.
  • America seems way iffy. When she's with Reilly's bunch, she's with them. When she's talking to Izzy and Cory, she's with them voting out Reilly.
  • I can't figure the truth although I'm leaning towards her voting out Reilly as she just formed a little alliance with Mecole.
  • But, then again, America is the one who planted the seed with Blue and Jag that Cirie and Izzy are the leaders of that side.
  • Cirie thinks it was Reilly calling them the ringleaders.
  • Cirie told Red that the other side was going to go after him, Bowie and Mecole as they were "middle players" AKA floaters.
  • Red went to Hisam telling him that Matt was upset with him (Hisam) over feeling that he threatened him, and America was playing both sides. They both agreed the next target should be Matt.
  • Jared and Blue's continued friendship continues to grow.
  • Eventually that will clash with Mama Cirie.
  • At the moment, it looks like Reilly will be voted out.
  • But even for me, it's hard to tell the concrete votes other than a few to do that.
  • Laters!

No one is targeting Matt ... for the moment.

Why does she even talk to him?

Felicia's laugh is infectious!

Will the friendmance go showmance?

We aren't the ringleaders!

BB25: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - Aug. 16

Good evening! I hope everyone is well. I want to thank those who have recently donated to the blog. With my medical bills and ongoing health issues it's deeply appreciated!

Tonight is the Veto comp episode. We have Reilly and Cameron on the block. Will one be saved? Some of us might already know, but ... shhh. Let them show it on the show!

I will be live blogging the show as it airs here on the East Coast. I'll be updating regularly -- please refresh the page to get the latest updates. As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!

Sitting through the "Previously on" segment. We know this stuff!

We finally pick up with a teaser about who gets sent to the Nether Region next and the PoV comp which has them spinning records. There's an article out there about how the comp was adapted for Matt's deafness.

Hisam tells us Reilly is his target. He's putting Cameron next to her to see the other side "splinter and crumble." We get both nominees telling us how they feel about being nominated. We get Hisam treating Reilly in a real condescending patronizing manner. I can't blame her for being upset.

They are looking at the pictures on the Memory Wall (which just showed up this week). The Scary ball in the living room is flashing red. Jag returns. Jag has no message for them. He's safe for the week, doesn't know what the Nether Gorgon will ask him to do.

Hisam tells Matt he thinks Matt and Reilly are in a showmance. Hisam wants Matt to think saving Reilly would be dangerous to his game. Matt doesn't take too kindly to being threatened. Matt tells Reilly if he wins the veto, he will take her down.

Scary globe lights up again and they get a message. Jag has returned but the Gorgon Monster wants more souls. Jag must pick, that person cannot compete in the veto comp. Jag tells us he wants to confer with Hisam so Hisam thinks it's his idea. Hisam doesn't like Jag's Red idea. He decides to ask for volunteers. Everybody is telling him no. Bowie says she's good to whatever. Reilly wants Red to go because he would take Cameron down, Matt would probably go up.

Jag tells us it's not an easy decision. He goes with Bowie Jane. No one seems thrilled except maybe Bowie. She tells us she wanted to keep Red to possibly play for the veto.

Now Reilly feels betrayed by both Jared and Jag. Hisam ain't happy either and says that Jag is lucky he's safe this week.

Veto comp playera pick time! Hisam draws first - Matt. Heh. Cameron gets America. Reilly draws Houseguest Choice, chooses Blue. All from the other side has Hisam hanging his head while Reilly's allies dance.

Cirie, Izzy and Hisam talk. Hisam is fussing about the picks. Cirie says it's "balls to the wall" and everybody is gunning for this veto.

Veto time. Hottest music store in ScrambleVerse. Have to spin a record to get three clues to find the task they need to accomplish. Three tasks in fastest time wins. The backyard is done up like an old record/music store.

They do the comp individually. Cameron is up first. The piano is a toilet seat! Eep. America is up next. This is a strange and different kind of comp than we've seen before. I do hope they sanitized that tuba between players. Matt is now up. Matt has trouble finding the peeano toilet. He also had to read the sign on the tuba because he had no idea what a tuba is. Blue is next, more confusion. Hisam time. He seems to be going through it fast. Reilly time. And into commercial when she finishes!

Results: Top three times. 3rs place is Blue 2.36. Second 2.10 is Cameron. 1st is Hisam with 1.45. (Thise are minutes and seconds.) HISAM wins the Power of Veto. Lots of fake hugs going around. No, they are NOT all happy he won!

ScaryVerse globe is lighting up -- the return of Bowie Jane. She says she has nothing to report.

Hisam talks to Reilly. Well, she went to him. He tells her he doesn't want to "get any more blood on his hands." He will probably tell the others she is his target, and he wants them to vote her out at the veto meeting. Not a good talk for Reilly.

Veto Meeting time! Hisam doesn't use the veto. Says he loves Reilly but she is his target, she mentioned his name, caused the house to split early and wants everyone to vote her out.

Oh my. Cirie is not happy with her buddy Hisam. Most seemed rather shocked he was that blatant.

BB25: Live Feeds Overnight into Wednesday - Aug. 16

Okay, it's Wednesday

Did y'all read my live feeds report from yesterday (this here link)? Go read it, please. I mistakenly labeled it as Monday evening, but it was last night, Tuesday.

Now, forget about it. Well, except for maybe the witty screen cap captions! And my humble asking for donations, please!

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Welcome to Waffle Wednesday:
  • Before Tuesday night was out there, but it was Wednesday here on the East Coast ... WAFFLE TIME.
  • Izzy and Cirie realized that if they make Hisam that angry at them for flipping to keep Reilly he could win the veto, then HOH the next week and guess who his targets would be?
  • Instead of those on the other side of the house, it would be those who betrayed him.
  • Yet, if Cameron wins HOH, he would put Hisam on the block.
  • Or, pretty much anyone else would do it.
  • As both Cory and Jared (two who were reluctant to be in on the boot Cameron plan) pointed out, Cirie was thinking Survivor 30 day time mode while BB is a long game of 100 days. It's too soon to hit that!
  • And, we all know that Mecole, who is called MeMe in the house, says ... those maths just ain't mathing!
  • Cirie and Izzy decided to sleep on it and tell everyone in the morning that the plan is off.
  • Instead, they told everyone ... including Reilly ... before bed.
  • When they talked to Hisam, not telling him of the flip or the flop either, he told them how happy he was to have people around him he could trust.
  • He also spoke of a fake alliance he set up with Blue and Jag.
  • So, the plan is back to evicting Reilly this week.
  • Everyone is onto Hisam issues, though. The target on his back really couldn't get much bigger.
  • While his interrogations were fun to watch, he became the poster boy for HOHitis.
  • One thing this mess did was getting some who hadn't talked to each other talking.
  • Of course, things may change by tomorrow.
  • Laters!

We never liked that plan anyway.

We'll sleep on it then tell everyone it's changed.

I said the MATH ISN'T MATHING!
