BB25: Live Feeds into Saturday Pre-Veto - Aug. 5

ZZ Top with cheap sunglasses

Good afternoon! We have some pre-Veto buzz going on in the house, including the Veto player picks. So, let's get to what's been happening inside that Big Brother House of Loquacious Losers:
  • Okay, they aren't losers. I'm thinking this is one of the better casts we've seen.
  • The house split is in full motion even though they've been in the house for just a few days.
  • Reilly's group, The Handful, definitely has Blue although Blue initially gravitated towards Cirie and her buddies.
  • But Cirie's group, the Bye-Bye Bitches (thanks, Janelle), has drawn in Hisam while Reilly considers him a possible ally.
  • Blue may have put a target on Hisam, though.
  • In a conversation with her, he said he thinks the heterosexual white males are in an alliance.
  • He did say it and when Felicia was telling Cirie about it, the feeds cut.
  • But Blue told Cory about it. Uh-oh.
  • Cirie told Hisam they should pull Luke and Red into their group so they have the numbers. (Cirie already has Red.)
  • Cirie was iffy when Hisam mentioned that he thought Jared was part of the Reilly group. She said she thinks he's bottom of the totem pole there.
  • The Handful is considering pulling Jared in.
  • If he gets in on both groups, will he be adaptive enough to pull an Ian playing both sides? My jury is out on that.
  • But if he follows Cirie's advice, he might be capable. She has been advising him whenever she sees him doing something that isn't good for his game.
  • The Cirie/Jared connection is still only known by Izzy.
  • The Handful doesn't realize that Cirie's group has solidified. They think several are still independent free agents or just in mini-alliances.
  • But Cirie knows their group has solidified. She's like that. She is super observant and people talk to her. That's how she did so well on Survivor.
  • Reilly said that she's talked to everybody and their mother.
  • She doesn't know how right she is!
  • Heh.
  • The feeds were cut for the Veto player picks.
  • When they returned -- Reilly, Felicia and Kirsten (of course) with Hisam, Blue and Bowie with Cirie hosting.
  • Hisam apparently wasn't a Houseguest Choice pick.
  • I doubt anyone winning except Felicia or Kirsten will change the nominations.
  • Kirsten would HAVE to save herself and she knows it.
  • Felicia already told Cirie she would have to save herself just because it would be dumb not to do so.
  • Right now the feeds are down for the Veto comp. When they return and I see who has the necklace, I'll post a bulletin and then an update on the aftermath this evening.
  • Laters!

Blue has loose lips about Hisam

Cirie tells Hisam they need Luke

Doesn't know Jared is in the alliance

I predict a pre-jury eviction for Cory

Still wearing a funky hairdo

BB25: Live Feeds into Saturday Morning - Aug. 5

Bowie Jane, Jag and Blue pizza dancing

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Awake Animals:

  • This crew stays up WAY too late.
  • Well, at least most of them, that is.
  • Despite BB telling them that they would be awakening them at 7:30am Saturday, half the house is still awake as I write this ... going on 4am their time.
  • Jag had tried to go to bed. Not long after he fell asleep, they called him to the Diary Room. After that he ended up wide awake.
  • I know that feeling. If I'm unexpectedly awakened, that's it for sleep!
  • Who is the crew still up?
  • Why, Reilly's crew, of course.
  • They don't want to be seen as a group/alliance of eight yet stay up and talk loudly in the HOH room.
  • Go figure.
  • Reilly said that she talked with Hisam, who doesn't seem close to anyone, and asked him if she could choose him if she got Houseguest Choice in the Veto pick.
  • She plans to run it by him again before the pick.
  • She says (not to Hisam) that she wants to pick him so that he thinks she trusts him.
  • She doesn't trust him but figures anyone up against Kirsten would be safe or that he wouldn't change the noms if asked not to do so.
  • Most of the Eight think that Luke is just playing dumb about the game.
  • He told Cory he didn't realize he was on the block.
  • He asked what a backdoor was.
  • One, I think it was Luke, but maybe Matt, thought they were saying Dairy Room not Diary Room.
  • One thing Luke said when a bunch were talking about people lying about their jobs -- they realize they have a lot of really smart fellow hamsters and think there are doctors and lawyers -- is that Hisam might be a doctor.
  • Heh. Hisam IS a doctor, but no one thinks he is.
  • Now they think Luke is a doctor.
  • He is not.
  • Kisten talked to America -- us, not the hamster -- wondering what she did wrong.
  • Cirie, in her great friends kind of way, talked to Kirsten about why she seems to be in trouble -- gaming too fast, etc.
  • She advised Kirsten to tone down her gameplay.
  • She also told Kirsten that EVERYONE had issues with her.
  • Oh my. I'd be heading out that back door of the Diary Room if I thought EVERYONE was against me!
  • There were no kerfuffles, fisticuffs or brouhahas resulting from Kirsten being nominated.
  • Earlier in the day, most of the hamsters had a spa day event.
  • Guys ended up with painted nails.
  • Cameron and Matt ended up with Mickey Mouse hairdos which look ridiculous on anyone other than a small child.
  • Matt took his out. But as I type this up, Cameron still has his.
  • Blue did a face massage on Felicia who absolutely loved it.
  • Jared has taken to wearing a bandana on his head tied at the chin like an old lady's scarf. It looks as ridiculous as Cameron's mouse ears hairdo.
  • Nothing all that earth shattering went down since my last post.
  • But the Power of Veto comp is today.
  • That should be interesting. Not that we will actually see it on the feeds, mind you. But we see the aftermath.
  • Since rumors are rampant on the internet, I feel I should mention that the rumor about an 18th hamster and no eviction this week were started by a "spoiler" person who is wrong more often than right. I honestly doubt it and, if folks bring it up in the comments, I will probably refute it. I pride myself on posting only things I actually see on the feeds or have from valid sources. The comments here are a reflection of the content on the blog. If you feel the need to post a rumor or speculation, label it as such. Please.
  • Laters!
Kirsten talks to America. Us. Not the hamster.

Matt's hair after the "spa."

Cirie and Izzy compare notes.

Cameron kept the do. Ew.

Hisam has a twin on BB! Oh, a mirror.

BB25: Nominations Are In Bulletin! August 4

After a lengthier than needed live feeds block, the feeds have finally returned. About time!

As predicted in my last post, Reilly removed Jared and Cory from the block. Remaining nominated are Felicia and Kirsten. Reily was in tears when the feeds came back on. Jag comforted her, telling her she did what had to be done. She told him she didn't even know where Kirsten is. He told her that they will have a chance to win Veto. Maybe we will have a brouhaha later on!

UPDATE: People are talking about how wrong Cory was for being so smug about the nomination ceremony. Kirsten just came out of the Diary Room in tears. Mecole saw her, hugged her and told her to take a deep breath. Now Jag and Blue are trying to comfort and pep talk her.

BB25: Live Feeds Friday Morning - 8/04

Nominations Today!

Going into the Nominations later on today, there have been some changes. Well, one big one, at least.

  • After talking to more people, Reilly found out that not one person would vote for Felicia to go.
  • She thinks that if she leaves Cory or Jared on the block, it might split the vote.
  • She thinks everyone will vote Kirsten out unanimously if she was up against Felicia.
  • So, instead of a Cory pawn, we should see a Felicia pawn.
  • That will probably work out. They all do like Felicia.
  • But Reilly's other plans? The alliance plans?
  • Oh my.
  • Very complex stuff going on there.
  • Final Two: Reilly, Jag
  • Core: Reilly, Jag, Blue
  • Handful: Reilly, Jag, Blue, Cameron, Matt
  • The Eight: Reilly, Jag, Blue, Matt, Cameron, Cory, America
  • Safety Bubble: Cirie, Felicia, Izzy, Hisam and maybe Luke
  • Gee, why doesn't she go for everyone except Kirsten?
  • As close as Reilly made it seem with Cory last night, note how far down he is in the alliance(s) she made.
  • In other news, Izzy told Cirie that she knew who Jared was the second she saw him on stage. She recognized him from the visit from home on Survivor and photographs.
  • Then when she saw Cirie in the house, she was just so excited that she had to grab him by the arm and tell him that she knew but all was good.
  • Unlike many of Cirie's basic likes, I think she does really like Izzy.
  • The Cirie/Izzy/Felicia group has now added in Blue.
  • ONLY Cirie, Jared and Izzy know that Jared is Cirie's son.
  • Kirsten feels that Reilly is breaking her word regarding a womens alliance made before they all went to bed on the first night.
  • She's betraying not only Kirsten but all of womenkind!
  • They all got excited today when they saw the Nominations Today screen up on the monitor.
  • This is basically just an update.
  • I will post again when the nominations are in and the feeds return from that.
  • They just cut the feeds and went to adoptable animals, so we should know in a bit more than an hour.
  • Laters!
Reliving hooking up the wires in the comp

Reilly is betraying me!

No one will vote for her ...

Still Mr. Popularity, Reilly's first final two buddy

Minimal blood on her hands

BB25: Live Feeds Into Friday 8/04

Playing charades

The blog pool sign-up cutoff is TONIGHT Midnight Pacific Time! Sign up ONLY on the blog pool opens post!

Good morning! My apologies for no post last night. The BB House time difference and a real-life weekly hospital appointment wreaked havoc on my sleep (or lack thereof). I decided to take a brief nap which ended up being a "power nap" of about seven hours! In other words, a really bizarre time to go to bed! Once I get used to staying up BB hours, I'll do better. Of course, once I woke up, I had to catch up with the feeds. Be warned -- get your breakfast and coffee because this report will be a LONG one!

So, what's been happening in that Big Brother House of Rascally Rodents?
  • As you know from my last post, Reilly won HOH.
  • Apparently, Luke ALMOST won it, coming in about 4 seconds late.
  • With four already on the block, what will the HOH do?
  • I'm glad you asked!
  • The HOH will remove two from the chopping block. Just a reminder -- on the block we have Felicia, Cory, Jared and Kirsten.
  • What if one the final two nominees wins Veto?
  • In that case, from what I understand, one of the two removed will return to the block, HOH choice.
  • At least that's what most of them think. A few think the replacement could be anyone.
  • I just don't know because THEY don't know for sure.
  • While I napped there was the HOH Room reveal with way too many hamsters crammed in that room. It was too early for the things from home. But she did get treats and music.
  • Reilly's music gift wasn't a good one for making friends and influencing people in the house -- Morgan Wallen, a country singer banned from the CMA Awards for racial slurs.
  • They celebrated her birthday.
  • They also played charades and Simon Says, and fun was had by all.
  • So ... let's get to the gameplay!
  • Reilly talked to some of them while planning to talk to the rest today.
  • To cut to the quick, it sounds like her current plan is to target Kirsten (as many have mentioned her) and have her up there with a pawn, most likely Cory.
  • That MAY backfire on her as she doesn't know that Cory is just about as iffy with others as is Kirsten.
  • She appears to sincerely like Cory, told him she wants to work with him.
  • Cory told her that his brother was on Survivor. Well, that secret didn't last long, did it? He did tell her it was a secret, but ...!
  • (However, when talking with Jag, she made a final two pact.)
  • Cory told her she needs to save Felicia. He claims he doesn't want to be on the block with her and "responsible for sending her home."
  • As if!
  • Both also think if Felicia were to be evicted, the Wrath of Cirie would come down on them.
  • Cory thinks Cirie really likes him. Bwahahaha!
  • Cory thinks Jared really likes him. Bwahahaha!
  • Of course, we know that if Cirie and Jared don't like someone, that means Felicia and Izzy don't, either!
  • Reilly told Cory that she doesn't really want to work with a women's alliance (an issue about Kirsten as she claimed there was a guy's alliance after just a few hours in the house). She thinks that a mix with both genders would be better for winning comps. She is pushing for a large alliance, eight is her goal. Eep.
  • She really likes Matt and Luke and would like to bring them in on her side.
  • When she talked to Cameron, she also said that she wants to work with him.
  • She told him she plans to take Jared off the block because he is loyal and has no one else to really work with ... bwahaha!
  • Can you say Cirie? I thought you could!
  • Cameron told her he could work with Jared as they are both football guys.
  • Outside of the Reilly talks, I have some observations to make.
  • Some of the people in the house are so likable or fun that no one wants to target them, at least right now -- Felicia, Jag, Matt, Jared, Red and even Cirie to a point.
  • Not one person other than Izzy knows that Jared and Cirie are son and mother. She guessed it and approached Jared about it right on opening night.
  • Cirie and Izzy have also talked about it.
  • Jared is already making plans for the day he slips up and calls Cirie "Mom." He's calling Felicia and Cirie Momma F and Momma C. Good thinking. Probably Cirie's thinking.
  • Cirie continues to advise Jared on gameplay and it's cool watching her do her Cirie Thing on BB as she did on Survivor.
  • She watches, she knows, she decides who goes.
  • And, it looks like her choice to go will be Kirsten or, perhaps to a lesser extent, Cory.
  • Nominations should be today with POV tomorrow.
  • I predict that Kirsten and Cory will be nominated.

America, America ...

Bowie Jane and Felicia

Nobody doesn't like Matt!

Jared is sure to stay this week.

Cirie is fitting in much better than I expected.

Hey, Cory. The pawn sometimes isn't!

Blue got a booboo in the HOH comp ... or blublu?
