BB25: Live Eviction Show Live Blogged Blog Party - Aug. 24

Good evening! Tonight either Hisam or Cameron will get the boot! I'm sure that the show editing will try to deceive us ... as it always does. Will there be a blindside? Will the evicted hamster already know his imminent demise? Maybe. I guess we'll see.

CBS Big Brother has announced that the epic return of the 'Pressure Cooker' competition will indeed air on the live feeds. I took a nap and will be posting a constantly updated HOH endurance coverage post for it. Just refresh the blog right after the East Coast show airs (10PM ET, 7PM PT) to catch the post! I doubt we will see a 14-hour comp like we did in BB6. But, again ... we will see!

I will be live blogging the show as it airs here on the East Coast. As I will constantly be updating, refreshing this page will give you the latest happenings. As always, the real party is in the comments section. I hope to see you there!

But first ... let's get that blog pool posted. Here is where the blog pool stands going into tonight's show:

Hamster watchers ready?

Oh my, Julie is fluffy, ruffley and flowery tonight. We'll sit through the recap.

We pick up the action after the veto meeting. Julie tells us alliances have crumbled and new ones have formed. Can Hisam handle the truth? Cameron thinks he's safe. Matt knows Hisam was campaigning against him and it will also be revenge for Reilly.

Hisam is feeling hurt. He says he is a king and should fight for himself. Felicia tells him she had an opportunity that she will probably never get again. He feels betrayed and looks confused and hurt. He tells her he's moving through the hurt. He tells us the move is stupid.

Then he talks with Izzy. He tells her he knows Cirie and her both know. Izzy tells him that she feels sick and just did her job to make him feel comfortable. She will not be told what to do and be called a leftover. She tells him that America said he said he was stuck with them.

He tells us it was a mistake and it wasn't his intention to change sides. He does admit to Izzy he was wrong. He tells us he betrayed them and needs to find a way to stay in the game.

Julie hints at a flip before we go into commercial.

Julie tells us Hisam's choices are to seek revenge or seek redemption. He tells us they are his family and he wants to work with them. He will try to earn their forgiveness and trust. He starts making his rounds with Felicia. She tells him he has some time to try to change people's minds. But she tells us "you reap what you sow."

So, the rounds have started. First Izzy. Family, have mercy, forgive me, give me a chance to be better, will let bygones be bygones. Izzy does feel bad. She accepts their apology and he asks for a hug. Then it's on to Cirie. Same talk with her. She asks about revenge. He knows if he stays, he will be the biggest target in the house. Cirie tells us teary-eyed that she has to take it into consideration ... he's redeemable.

Now Felicia, Cirie and Izzy are talking about maybe sending Cameron home instead. They decide to talk to Hisam. Felicia tells him she needs to know he won't come after her. They hug. Izzy suggests a new start. He tells us he is fiercely loyal and fiercely protective, will make sure they are protected and loyal. The flip suggestion is on. The three have to look outside the Professors to make the flip work. They believe him. Cirie says flipping would alienate so many others in the house.

We're heading to the living room.

Cameron - Tells Hisam interesting week. Shout-out. Closer to all the HG, love you.

Hisam - Shout outs, time to reflect. Multiple mistakes. Asking to have kindness, generosity and loyalty. Always on your side.

Votes to evict --
Red - Hisam
Jag - Hisam
Bowie Jane - Hisam
Blue - Hisam
To commercial ...
Matt - Hisam
Cirie - Hisam
America - Hisam
Izzy - Hisam
Cory - Hisam
Jared - Hisam
Mecole - Hisam

Yep, another unanimous vote (with cause this time). Hisam is evicted. Fake hugs all around time. But he does seem a bit sincere, hugs Izzy, Felicia and Cirie a bit more than the others. He goes to the stage with his rather annoying ha-ha-ha-ha laugh. I don't know anyone who actually laughs by going ha-ha-ha. The Scary globe goes  red. Kaysar shows up. Tells them it's their turn for the Pressure Cooker, the ScaryVerse makes it even tougher, good luck, you'll need it.

Interview time. Ha-ha-ha. He thinks he trusted the wrong people. Ha-ha-ha. Julie says his HOH was referred to as a dictatorship. He says he wanted all of them to make it. He's a doctor. Listening to what people had to say, blinded. Julie tells him about Cirie/Jared. He didn't know and says it makes sense ... they look alike. He says good for them, hope they go to the end. He thinks they are doing a good job. Goodbye messages from Cirie, Izzy, Matt, Blue. Matt's wasn't really nice, a three strikes bit but polite. To me, Blue was much more rude than need be.

We will get an America's Vote. Comic-Verse, one hamster gets a super power, top four compete, power is to save one evicted hamster (not ones already out). It will come to fruition next Thursday.

The comp is starting. They are in a large enclosure - "Revenge of the Pressure Cooker" -- finger on button, no sitting, no kneeling, can swat, can only leave box when three are out. They each have to take a numbered card on the way out, some are good, some bad. It's dark and we go to a night vision cam.

BB6 "Pressure cooker" endurance competition for HOH

The first and only time we saw the Pressure Cooker HOH comp was in BB6. It played out on the live feeds.

Well ... guess what?

CBS Big Brother has announced that tonight's Pressure Cooker comp will also be on the live feeds. The downside is that it is slated to start after the East Coast airing of the live eviction show -- 10PM ET/7PM PT

Not to fear! I will take an afternoon nap and I also doubt that the comp will take the 13 hours 53 minutes that the BB6 comp did. The first out, Beau, was near the seven hour mark. Will any BB25 hamsters even make it that long? I will have an HOH Pressure Cooker Comp blog post up and will constantly be updating it with screen caps and the happenings!

Here's some another bit on the Pressure Cooker ... in the video, go to the last segment --

BB25: Live Feeds Waffle Wednesday into Thursday - Aug. 23/24

Jared is a voice of reason? Oh my.

Gotta love it when Waffle Wednesday lives up to its reputation. Here's what's been happening inside that Big Brother House of A'Waffling We Will Go:

  • Okay, two people up on the block.
  • Jag and Cameron.
  • Thank goodness there aren't three or my head would explode.
  • The plan since Felicia won HOH last week was to backdoor Hisam.
  • Why? Because he was overbearing and alienated everyone in the house last week during his HOH.
  • EVERYONE in the house was in on the plan.
  • All went down like clockwork, a well-oiled machine.
  • Jag won veto, took himself off the block and Felicia replaced him with Hisam.
  • Like clockwork, I say.
  • The others in the house all working together. New bonds forming. All striving for a common goal.
  • Then ... BAM! The clock was wound too tight! The inner workings all went kaput! There was a trail of destruction everywhere!
  • Wait, are Red and Cameron a more powerful duo to work against others?
  • Are they gathering allies from the "other side" and planning to overthrow the (now ex) Professors?
  • Jared pointed out that if Hisam stays and works with Red, things could be worse than if he goes.
  • By Wednesday afternoon, the whole plan to evict Hisam was out the door.
  • By Wednesday night, it looks like (once again) the plan is for Hisam himself to go out the door.
  • Now, Cory is very leery of Red and Cameron. So, he had been willing to go with keeping Cameron but also is a bit worried about Hisam.
  • What to do? What to do?
  • As usual this season so far, when Cirie decides something -- that is what they end up doing.
  • As I type this up, Cirie is back to the original plan.
  • Despite what he said to them, Hisam is not going to play well with people he feels betrayed his trust.
  • Also, his new (he thinks) friends would really only want to work with him as a number and a shield.
  • He's sunk.
  • It could very well be the last unanimous vote we see for a while.
  • Cameron never started campaigning and, for the most part, Hisam wrapped his up.
  • In other news, both Cirie and America have mentioned the comp where you stand pushing a button. Both are sure if it comes up, Hisam would win.
  • I really don't want to think that BB warned them. But no other group has mentioned that comp in the past several seasons. Hmm ...
  • Felicia told Meme that she wants Red targeted next and they (Red and Cameron) had been saying Meme's name.
  • Cirie told her that all of a sudden Red is all kinds of strategy, first saying he was targeting Jag. And Jag approached her for the first time this week. She thinks that he is in cahoots (my term, not hers) with Red ... who is now bringing up Meme's name as well.
  • Actually, Cirie has heard her name and Izzy's brought up. As in Survivor, that pretty much means she will steer to evict anyone even thinking that.
  • Cirie also told Meme that Hisam promised EVERYONE if they voted to keep him that he would fight for them. Both sides of the house, everyone. He promised it as if he was promising each individual. That would be impossible!
  • Red mentioned that BB must buy their stuff at the dollar store. Hey, I said that YEARS ago!
  • When talking about the food they want, Jag's slogan is "Real cheese for real people!"
  • Well, BB is giving us real cheese with these comps this season!
  • I have no idea if the Pressure Cooker HOH comp will play out on the live feeds. If it does, I may or may not be up all night.
  • UPDATE - Overnight, after I made this post, CBS announced on the show website that the Pressure Cooker HOH comp will play out on the live feeds after the live show airs on the West Coast (10PM PT, 1AM ET)
  • But we still have to get through the eviction tonight.
  • For all I know, they might have a Thursday waffle after the feeds cut out pre-show. Or maybe even a breakfast waffle.
  • But, as I stated before, it's currently back to Hisam being evicted.
One thing which was funny was the scat band they formed.

Meme has more game in her than shows.

The Red/Cam duo has not won a comp yet.

Being a Have Not has exhausted Matt.

Izzy has high highs and angry lows.

BB25: Power of Veto Show Live Blog and Party - Aug. 23

Good evening! I hope everyone is well. Again, I want to thank all those who have made donations to the blog. I've found that the Buy Me a Coffee link makes it hard to send thank you notes. So, thanks go out to Judi, Kim, Penny, CherryPie, Sharon M, Connie and Caela. I'm still getting ones from outside of the USA coming in as failed. If anyone reading this sent in a failed donation, I do appreciate the effort!

Tonight is the Veto comp episode. We have Jag and Cameron on the block. Will one be saved? Some of us might already know, but ... shhh. Let them show it on the show!

I will be live blogging the show as it airs here on the East Coast. I'll be updating regularly -- please refresh the page to get the latest updates. As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!

Sitting through the previously on segment.

We open the action with the nomination ceremony ending. Felicia is dead set on backdooring Hisam. Cameron and Jag are in on the plan. We see all the fake BB hugs after the ceremony. I just couldn't do that. Hisam thinks he can relax now. He thinks no one wants to target him.

Felicia told everyone about the backdoor Hisam plan. Well, everyone except Red because she thinks he might tell Hisam. Of course, Hisam doesn't know about it.

Blue is sad about Jag being on the block and cries to Hisam about it. But, nope ... she tells us it's all an act.

Oh, geez. Blue and America are going to make Cory release his inner fashionista. Heh. He's all in pink Womens' clothes. He is taking it well. I bet his Survivor brother is jealous!

Felicia, Izzy and Hisam are talking. Hisam doesn't want to play for veto as he has won too much already and feels safe with the Professors. He just wants to enjoy this week. Izzy wants to play.

Mecole is going crazy with all the talking and sometimes even the subject matter. She goes to the storage room to vent to herself. Then there's all the crying. Poor Mecole. I can identify with her on this!

Cameron goes and tells Red, the only one not knowing about the Hisam backdoor plan. He wants Red to know that he's his number one. Red thought it was earlier than he thought and is not comfortable about his own alliance planning it without him knowing. He wants to talk to Felicia.

She tells him Jag is the target. He throws Hisam's name out there just to see his reaction. She tells us someone had to tell him. She asks him what he thinks of the move. He seems on board. Cirie and Bowie Jane are also in the room. Red tells us he agrees with the plan but feels left out of the alliance.

Red tells us he wants Cameron to come into the Professors alliance. He tells all to Cameron. Oy. He tells us he will be happy to take that spot.

To the Blue/Jared showmance. Cirie is NOT happy. She lets him know.

Time to pick players for the veto comp! Felicia draws Houseguest's Choice chip and chooses Izzy. Cameron draws Houseguest's Choice, too. He goes for Red. Jag draws Cory. Of those, only Cameron has played a veto comp before.

The veto comp-- a chicken coop set-up, a pool of green sludge. It's the ComicVerse. Winner will be the next Humanimal. Go through sludge, lay an egg roughly by doing the Chicken Dance. Transfer a dozen eggs. Winner will be CockadoodleZoom (?) the rest of the week. Red braided his beard for the comp. They get covered with goop of their own individual colors while laying the eggs.

Jag wins the Power of Veto!

Felicia thinks the plan is all coming together.

Uh-oh. Jag gets his Cockadoodle Zoom costume. It is the best chicken costume BB has ever had. He makes a rap for it.

Hisam tells Felicia that Matt should go up in Jag's place. She rather noncommittally says Matt or Blue. He warns her against putting Blue up. He insists it needs to be Matt. "Do you go after a king or a knight?" he asks Izzy. Izzy tells Cirie, Felicia and MATT. Now Felicia is talking about using that line in the veto meeting.

Time for the veto meeting. As expected, Jag saves himself. Felicia nominates Hisam with his own words ... taking out a king. She puts him up as the renomination. He looks shocked. Everybody is subdued. Hisam looks almost catatonic. Cameron feels safe. Matt calls it payback. Hisam tells us it's shocking. He vows guilt as revenge.

We get the pressure cooker comp tease again for tomorrow night!

BB25: Live Feeds into Wednesday Morning - Aug. 23

Hamsters do love their greens!

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap:

  • Hisam continues to make his rounds and is all of a sudden thinking he's everybody's best friend.
  • He promises them loyalty and integrity!
  • It's not surprising that he once campaigned to be the mayor of Seattle.
  • He lost that one, too.
  • Yes, it looks like he's still out the door tomorrow night. It may be a bit early but if they don't get him out now, he's the biggest threat to at least make it to the final two.
  • Most just sit and nod as he talks nonending loyalty loops at them.
  • He honestly can't comprehend that people don't like the way he talks to them. That's not a good thing for a psychiatrist!
  • Jared and Blue made it to the make out under covers stage.
  • Yet he keeps telling Cirie it's nothing.
  • Hearing his views on women, it probably is nothing to him.
  • That's sad.
  • Meanwhile America is still trying to work on a Cory showmance.
  • I respect Cory so much more as he resists. He's an astute player of the game but I think his name is being mentioned too much already. He doesn't need a showmance thrown in there.
  • Matt and Jag seem very accepted into the Cirie group.
  • Oh, the Savage Seven -- Cirie, Felicia, Matt, Jag, Izzy, Jared and Blue -- have changed their name.
  • They are now the Seven Deadly Sins. Matt suggested each one be a sin. However, they can't think of all of them. Felicia turned to her bible but couldn't find it right away.
  • I have Google, though.
  • Pride, greed, wrath, envy, lust, gluttony and sloth.
  • I'll try to name each one.
  • I tell you right now that Lust will suffer the wrath of Wrath over Gluttony when Wrath finds out they are making out!
  • Sloths have adorable faces. Matt will have to be Sloth. I know Izzy must be Envy! Felicia would have to be Pride which leaves Jag as Greed.
  • I hope Jag is greedy enough to win this as I have him in the blog pool!
  • Now Jag made a final two deal with America, getting her to tell all she knows about Cory's strategic plans. Maybe he is Greed!
  • Blue and America keep sharing intel. Hmm.
  • Red and Cameron are still in their bromance despite Red talking so much to the Ex-Professors. He doesn't know they merged into a new group without him.
  • I will give Red credit for being the best slop cook in the house. He has come up with some very edible dishes.
  • The slop is really affecting Matt. He's tired all the time.
  • It doesn't help that Hisam kept Jag and Matt up all kinds of hours talking at them the night before.
  • The ex-Professors minus Hisam met up and decided their next nominations would be Blue and Jag with America as a renom. Okaay.
I had to search and I'm glad someone posted this new "alliance" with America, Jag and Cory --

Best slop cook of the season!

Not the best use of an ivy school education.

The Fields family plays bumper pool.

Jared with his adopted brother and grandma.

Meme's name is getting tossed around a lot.

The 7 Deadly Sins minus 2. Where are the 2?

Oh, there they are!
