BB25: Live Feeds into Thursday - Sept. 14

Izzy is a worried piggy.

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of the Day After Waffle Wednesday:
  • Yes. Waffle Wednesday is over.
  • And, true to form, they waffled.
  • Now it seems the vote will be to evict Izzy 3 to 6.
  • The three votes for Izzy to stay will be Cirie, Jared and Blue.
  • Blue made a pact in the first few days of the game not to vote to evict any LBGTQ folks.
  • Although, she did go against that pact with the Hisam vote.
  • Cameron made many valid points about the power structure in the house when talking with others.
  • And Cameron has finally realized that his best trusted buddy bro Jared is in with Cirie, Felicia and Izzy.
  • While the tide has turned, I don't think Cameron himself has picked up any long-lasting love or alliances with those who will vote Izzy out.
  • Other than America, the others seem to be a bit taken aback by how he talks to them.
  • Unless he changes his demeanor with others, he will be out soon.
  • The plan for tonight is to claim that Izzy is the stronger player which is why she went.
  • If they can get Cameron on the block or up as a renom after this week, they will use the same reasoning.
  • They all did get to feast at midnight with Cameron even bringing down his HOH goodies and his White Claws.
  • Tonight is starting an hour earlier than usual! Remember that. And, usual will become that 8PM ET/PT time from now on.
  • The wall comp is the HOH tonight. I'm thinking America, Mecole or Blue could do well if any WANT the win. Of the guys, Jag and Cory might stand the best shot. I don't think either really want the HOH right now. But people need to stop throwing comps.
  • Laters!

America's glee feeds into Cam's ego.

Should do well on the wall.

Which way should he vote?

What's with the off the shoulder?

When will the gamer come out?

BB25: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - Sept. 13

Good evening! Make sure you have your beverages and snacks nearby. This is going to be a two-hour episode. Also, don't forget that beginning tomorrow night the Thursday live eviction shows will be starting an hour earlier at 8PM ET/PT versus its standard 9PM.

Tonight is the Veto comp episode. We have Izzy and Felicia on the block. Will someone win the veto and actually use it to save one of the nominees? Ohh ... the suspense!

I will be live blogging the show as it airs here on the East Coast. I'll be updating regularly -- please refresh the page to get the latest updates. As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!

Twiddling my thumbs through the "Previously on" segment.

We pick up the action after the nominations ceremony. A peek at the veto comp has them spinning in chairs. Cameron thinks he's all that. He is very full of himself and thinks he rules. Izzy thinks she makes him feel small. Felicia is not thrilled nor impressed with Cameron.

Felicia tells Cam that the vote was flipped to boot Red about an hour before the eviction. Cameron refers to the week as Cam's Chaos Week. Um, okay. He thinks he was left out of the boot Red conversation to spite him. Well, they didn't want him telling Red. Sheesh! He tells her she isn't the target.

Izzy talks to Cam. He tells her there is a distinction between game and personal. He tells her he wants to work with her. He thinks she believes him. She doesn't. He tells her she's not the target and that Felicia is a loose cannon. He tells her he loves Cirie. Izzy tells us that she is sure that Cam would put Cirie on the block as a renom.

America is head over heels with Cam's plans.

Cirie talks to Cam. Love and hugs. Yep. She knows that she would be the renom and will work on it giving him hero worship. Gag. He tells us he knows she's trying to save her own butt but that she will go on the block if someone comes down.

Izzy tells Cirie that she's worried that Cirie will be the renom, if she wins the veto she will not save herself. They hug.

Now Jag talks to Cam in the HOH room. Jag tells us he still doesn't trust Cam, doesn't feel completely safe. Cam tells him he is to remain quiet. If Jag tells anyone about the deal, he will yank him on the block so quickly his head will spin.

I should note that while he is making some decent moves, the way he treats people and threatens them is endearing him to no one. Well, no one other than America so far.

Jag and Matt decide to be The Minutemen. Matt thinks it would be best the noms remain the same. He's worried that Jag would be the renom.

Cam and Jared in HOH room. Jared tells us he doesn't trust Cam at all. Well, duh. Cam thinks Jared can work with him and Jared had no idea that Red would be evicted. Cam tells us Cirie is his renom plan. He goes through his "steps" with Jared. His third step is to let both Izzy and Felicia think they are pawns. He won't tell Jared step 4, but Jared has it figured out -- his mother on the block.

Veto players picking time. Cameron draws ... Matt. Felicia draws Jared. (She thinks of him as her son in the house. Heh.) Izzy gets Houseguest Choice and chooses Jag.

Matt checks with Jared about what to do with the veto. Jared says to keep it the same as he thinks Cirie would go.

Izzy and Cirie are having a heart to heart talk. Izzy doesn't feel confident about anything. She thinks she's short, fat and ugly. Cirie tells her she had the same feeling that she couldn't do anything when she first went on Survivor. She's really touched by Izzy. Cirie says they are two hot messes. Izzy trusts her and is also touched.

Time for the veto comp, but all have to go to the living room for a Buddy Games show promo with Josh Duhamel. Blue tells them Josh is in the backyard. Cam would love to be on that show.

The backyard is set up like the new show. Matt has Hollywood hopes. Josh tells them the comp is in a series of rounds. 30 seconds spinning in chair, shooting 3 balls skeeball style  spinning each time in between, lowest score eliminated. It's a prize swap comp.

Felicia up first. 70 score. Jared needs to beat the 70. Jared got 30. Cam up next. Cam got 65. Izzy up next. She got 15. Matt up next. He got 142! Jag up now. He got 102. Izzy eliminated. She got the veto but she knows it won't last.

Second round. Jared 184. Cameron 26. Matt 122. Jag 91. Felicia fell. Got 27. Cameron eliminated. His "prize" is Piggy Pals choose a buddy build pig pen with 2000 scoops of dirt within two hours or can't play veto. He takes the veto and gives Izzy the Piggy Pals.

Round three. Matt up first, gets 63. Jag up next, gets 77. Jared up next, gets 150. Felicia gets 47 and collapses. She is all sweaty. She "wins" a European Vacation" - a trip for two. She trades it for the veto.

Round four -- Jag first, got 76. Jared next, got 74. Matt next, gets 116. Jared out. Gets Kayak Companions, buddy of your choosing, 48 hours. He takes the veto from Felicia.

Final round -- Matt up first. 139. Jag up. He gets 96. Jag receives $5,000. Keeps it.  Matt wins Duhamel-a-Maniac, hang out with Josh all week taking selfies galore. Matt thinks it's real. Jag doesn't think it is.

Izzy picks Cameron to be her Piggy Pal. Felicia picks Cirie to be her kayak pal. Jared keeps the veto. Felicia thinks Jared will save her. Josh bids adieu to all.

Cirie and Felicia have to go get their kayak. They have life vests, helmets and a kayak for two. They also have paddles. If they dock, they can get out but have to kayak going anywhere in the house. It's fun watching them maneuver the kayak.

Matt gets his punishment. He has a cardboard Josh, red plaid shirt and hat, camper vest and a Polaroid camera. He's having fun with it. All of the photos have to be on a shrine to Josh.

Cam talks to Jared in the HOH room. Cam asks him if he wants to play chill or blow this apart. He tells him he wants to put Cirie next to Izzy. He still wants Izzy out though. He thinks Cirie will have no one if Izzy goes. Jared tells us he will try to sway him. What if they put Jag next to Izzy? Cam senses that Jared doesn't want Cirie going up. But, of course, he doesn't know WHY Jared feels that way.

Time for Izzy and Cameron to get their Piggy Pals punishment. They have to do the 2,000 scoops of soil and they are already hot and sweaty. Cardboard Josh has to have his photo taken with pigs and kayaks. Then they all had to put the gas masks on, then a photo of all the houseguests in masks.

Houseguests are in bed. America wants Cory to kiss her. Even under the covers. He tells us his Mom is watching the live feeds. He doesn't want to go beyond cuddling. Then the kiss and dramatic music accompanying it comes.

Back to the pigs in the backyard. It's 3:05AM. She decides to talk him to death. 6:32AM. They finish the tasks. They have to add water and roll around in the dirt. The costumes are good for the week.

Jared can't talk to Cirie alone. He talks to both kayakers and tells them it's backdoor plan if he uses the veto. Felicia tells us she NEEDS Jared to save her and is upset that he might not use it to save Cirie.

Time for the veto meeting. Jared does NOT use the veto. Izzy and Felicia remain on the block.

Tomorrow night it's the wall HOH comp.

BB25: Live Feeds into Wednesday - Sept. 13

Pigattude

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Headache Hamsters:

  • Cameron is still blinded to the fact that he really has no allies.
  • Part of that is because he lies to people and they're onto it.
  • Jag went to Jared and Blue about Cam telling different people different things just to drive a wedge between them.
  • Knowing Cameron, that's probably part of his Create Chaos and Be A BB Legend Plan.
  • If the dude could just keep doing comps well AND have some sort of social game, he could be a contender.
  • It's almost like he's determined to make just about everyone in the house hate him.
  • It's not like he doesn't know they compare notes.
  • Plus, he talks to everyone like he's lecturing small children. Being condescending does not make friends and influence people in the house.
  • Cam thinks he has an alliance with America, Bowie, Cory and Jag as he tried to get Matt on board.
  • Yeah, sure.
  • Matt is getting more adept at figuring out the tomfoolery lies of the house.
  • He's gotten good at nodding his head a lot.
  • Heh. Cameron thinks he has all the votes (9) for Felicia to stay according to America ... who giggles about it.
  • Now, Bowie MIGHT vote for Felicia to stay. But the majority of the house will vote to keep Izzy.
  • BUT Cameron told Blue that he won't be fooled if Felicia does go out on Thursday and the others are dumb enough to leave a threat who everyone likes in the house.
  • Um. Okay, Cam. Tell one person one thing, tell another something else. Gotcha!
  • In other news -- During a conversation with Felicia and Mecole, Felicia told her she's wary of Jared because he had told her that he would take her down with the veto but didn't.
  • Mecole told her she doubts Jared will vote for Izzy to stay.
  • They are leaving Mecole out of the loop as they know she is loyal to Felicia.
  • Now, I'm not sure how well that will go over with Mecole. She is not one who likes being left out. Hmm.
  • Cirie would like for Felicia to be warned ahead of time so she is prepared.
  • But, of course, today is Waffle Wednesday.
  • We will have to see if it remains evict Felicia.
  • Remember, tonight's show is two hours!

A bit too much love going on here.

Um. Why America gets fan grief ...

Hide, Cory, hide!

The Amazing Race: TAR35 Teams Introduction

Good afternoon! Nope, this is not about Big Brother. Does everything have to be about Big Brother? No, it does not! I'm here to talk about the upcoming season of The Amazing Race and brief you on the teams.

The season starts on September 27. From that Wednesday forward, BB25 will be on Tuesday nights and Wednesdays will be 90-minute episodes of Survivor followed by 90-minute episodes of The Amazing Race. For the first time the show will feature 13 teams. According to CBC, the race will be a "23,800-mile adventure around the world." We will see the return of commercial flights instead of the private Covid-era flights. Plus, there will be no non-elimination legs, there will be a twist on the U-Turn and the Express Pass will be back.

Here's a cast video from Parade.com --

Here are the teams:

Alexandra and Sheridan Lichtor, brother and sister team from Chicago. She's 34, he's 29. Both graduated from Northwestern University with a Chemical Engineering degree and both currently work for the same global management consulting firm. Alex also plays tennis and has won multiple half marathons.

Ashlie and Todd Martin are a married couple living in Chino, California. They are both 38 years old. Ashlie is a hospitality account manager while Todd is a special education teacher.

I can't seem to find much more on them other than the fact they first met at age 15. So, they should surely know each other's quirks by now!

Elizabeth and Iliana Rivera are a mother - daughter team from Tampa, Florida. Elizabeth is 52 years old and Ilana is 27. Their professions are listed as retired lieutenant and entrepreneur. Hmm. Lieutenant where I haven't a clue, nor entrepreneur in what.

Nothing like a bit of vagueness.

Greg and John Franklin are brothers living in New York City and Mountain View, California. Greg is 25, John is 27. Greg is a software developer while John is a product manager. I dunno. Both sound techy to me!

I've read that they have done quite a bit of traveling to other countries together. That could be a very good thing!

Jocelyn Chao and Victor Limary are both 49 years old and yes, they are married despite different surnames. They live in Albuquerque, New Mexico where they are both grocery store managers.

Like many others, they say reading the clue is very important. Let's see if they can practice what they preach!

BB25: Live Feeds into Tuesday - Sept. 12

Freed from kayak duty.

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Inflated Egos:
  • Oh my gosh. Cameron seems to seriously think that he's going to be BB legendary with his chaos creation and big crazy moves.
  • He is still dead set on getting his evil nemesis Izzy out of the house.
  • He thinks people are going along with him.
  • That is despite America telling him everybody is lying to him.
  • Neither America nor Cameron have made the direct correlation and bond between Cirie and Jared.
  • America thinks Jared doesn't trust her.
  • He doesn't.
  • America also told Cam that he, not Red, was the target last week. He doesn't think that's even possible! After all, he has too many allies in the house! All they did was not inform him of the plan about Red, not target him! Heh.
  • Cory, despite his knowledge of BB and his own brainy self, is starting to come across as a lost little puppy dog to me.
  • He talked to Izzy. He told her he no longer trusts Cirie and Jared (yet hasn't figured out the mother/son bit).
  • Izzy told him that she thinks Jag, Blue and America are again working together ... without him.
  • Jared warned him that America tells a lot about him. So there goes his love life.
  • Cory eventually talked to America. He told her that Blue can't be trusted and that he heard she was sharing information about him with others.
  • He asked if she told anyone his Survivor secret (about his brother) and she denied it.
  • Cameron is so into his thinking that he's so devious and shaking up the house so much that it's hard to watch him talk to the others one by one.
  • Now, if he had something new and original and actually earthshaking, it would be different.
  • But he's making an ordeal over rather mundane expected nominations.
  • Izzy is his hated one and he wants her out. Heck, we know she dislikes him too.
  • Cirie and Cameron talked once Cirie was released from kayak duty.
  • Cameron once again professed love for her and said he was only upset with her because he was not brought in on the Red plan.
  • Um, okay. I remember him telling Jared that Cirie was the president, Felicia the VP and Izzy secretary of defense.
  • I do think he does indeed really like her, and I think it's blinding him a bit about how dangerous for anyone else's game it is to not take a shot at her.
  • I like Cirie. But if I were in that house, she would be the first one I wanted out for my own game!
  • Cam told Cirie that Izzy has to go if they expect to work together.
  • Hmm. I doubt Cirie wants to work with him, but if that's his belief, carry on dude.
  • At the time being, keep in mind Waffle Wednesday is still ahead, it looks like the votes are there for Izzy to stay.
  • We will see.
  • Laters!

Matt has Cardboard Josh for a week.

How long can she play under the radar?

But will he vote to keep her?

I'm a mad pig making big moves!

Yes, Cameron. I want to work with you.
