Big Brother 15: Live Eviction, HoH Show Blog Party - August 15

Even those who don't follow the live feeds probably have a good idea who will be walking out the door tonight. But, who's going to win Head of Household? It's getting near the point that one of the power factions in the house might try to take down a member of the other. We're getting a bit low on expendable players.

As the show airs here on the East Coast, I'll update this entry with the major happenings. Refresh the page to get the latest. As always, the real party will be in the comments area. I've heard rumbles that the drinking phrase for this week will be "the house" as in voting with the house, doing what the house wants, etc. I refuse to be held responsible for drunken couch sitting! So, please ... don't fall out of your chairs. If need be, put big pillows around you. ;-)

Okay, nearly a quarter of the show on the Jessie finding out that she's the target thanks to a fight with Helen in which Helen threw her under the bus. Julie promised another "game-changing" announcement before commercial. Jessie eavesdropped and found out EVERYONE lied to her and they're voting her out.

Hurricane Jessie is about to hit the house.

Speeches: Jessie, promises loyalty if she stays, second family, loves all. Spencer -- brother's birthday, amazing dream come true, hopes to stay.

The votes:
Amanda -- Jessie
McCrae -- Jessie
Aaryn -- Jessie
Helen -- Jessie
Elissa -- Jessie
GinaMarie -- Jessie

As expected, it's unanimous, Jessie is out. And, out with class.

HoH comp -- Going way off Broadway, songs used to identify comps, in rounds with a face-off set-up.

GM/Helen -- GM wins, chooses Spencer/Elissa next.
Spencer wins, chooses McCrae and GM.
McCrae wins, chooses Spencer and Aaryn.
Aaryn wins, Amanda and McCrae last two.
McCrae gave it to Amanda, it looks.
Amanda/Aaryn -- AARYN WINS HOH!

Julie tells us a juror will return to the game next Thursday. It sounds like the Survivor bit where they had them compete to return.

Put your hair in the air like you just don't care

Most of yesterday was a whole lot of nothing. While it still hasn't been a thrill a minute, here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Foolish Foes:
  • Helen pep-talked Elissa, trying to convince her that she (Elissa) can win HoH.
  • Of course, that would be perfect for Helen. No blood on her hands!
  • Elissa thinks that she (herself) has never been able to bond well with everyone because of the vendetta against her in the beginning of the game due to Rachel.
  • She's probably right.
  • Both Helen and Elissa think that Jessie's lack of ability as a team player and constant need for affirmation hurt her game.
  • Andy says that Jessie is a sinking ship and told Spencer the vote for her to go will be unanimous.
  • GinaMarie thinks Jessie is weird.
  • I say, "Look in the mirror, GinaMarie!"
  • Andy predicted that Jessie will offer someone, in return for staying, that she will throw HoH to them.
  • Sure enough, she offered that up to Aaryn, saying she could be nominated again ... just for another week in the house.
  • Yep, Aaryn, who had just been saying how she'll never trust Jessie again.
  • Jessie then made the same offer to Helen and Elissa.
  • No one will take her up on it.
  • Jessie cried. She doesn't want to go out "like this."
  • Well, that's how the cookie crumbles.
  • Always in the game, Amanda told Spencer that Helen is plotting his demise.
  • In the game, mind you. Helen isn't a murderer-to-be.
  • Amanda also told Spencer she trusts him more than she trusts Aaryn.
  • Ha.
  • McCrae, hiding any backdoor Helen scenario, told Elissa that Aaryn will have to be backdoored next week.
  • Amanda is still ticked about the mystery MVP.
  • At midnight the Have Nots could eat. Aaryn and Helen cooked a feast.
  • The vote will probably be unanimous again this evening, this time Jessie going out the door.
  • Ah, well. Next week is a new week. About the only real wild card left in the house will be Spencer.
  • The only truly expendable hamsters between the two power players (Amanda and Helen) will be GinaMarie and Spencer.
  • Soon it will come to real power plays.

Big Brother 15: PoV Show Blog Party - August 14

Yeah, yeah ... I know we already know (at least those who follow the live feeds), but it should be fun to watch anyway. Or, at least the party here can be fun even if the show isn't! As it airs, I'll update this entry with the major happenings. Refresh the page to get the latest!

As always, if you're here for the party, head to the comments!

The 3am alliance is formed -- Aaryn, Andy, Amanda and McCrae. Helen is finally getting worried about Andy. Amanda decides that McCrae should form a fake alliance with Helen and Andy. Helen falls for it.

Power of Veto players picked -- Helen, Elissa, Amanda. Andy chooses McCrae to host it. With show fans aboard, they've figured out it might be the numbers counting hold/fold comp. They decide that everyone but Helen will fold so she can last out and Jessie just can't win. Spencer isn't thrilled.

The veto comp is indeed the counting hold/fold done in movie theater style ... BB Movie BLOOD, BOLTS AND BANDAGES! They have to earn three movie tickets. The plan got whupped when Spencer decided to actually play. Andy wins it, making himself happy as he won't have to decide a third nominee and get more blood on his hands.

Veto meeting ... Andy doesn't use it. Spencer and Jessie remain on the block.

Big Brother 15: Live Feeds Tuesday Evening into Wednesday Dawn - August 13-14

If I have to suffer, so do you

The storm clouds have cleared and the habitrail is once again all sunshine and lollipops. Well, not quite. Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of the Rorschach Rejects:
  • Did McCrae only bring one pair of socks? A rather ugly bizarre pair at that? If they do the burn clothes thing, his plaid pajama pants and those socks need to go.
  • Helen remains very concerned about her actions which may or may not be seen on television.
  • I'm just glad that there are a few people in the house not willing to jump in bed at the first sign of showmance.
  • Jessie, after her extended thorny snit the night before and well into yesterday, stopped her tirade.
  • Even GinaMarie, the one person Jessie told nice things to, thinks that Jessie looked psycho.
  • Jessie, in her now subdued and somber state, told GinaMarie she was bored and depressed. The every day down time and routine on the house is hard for her to take.
  • She's said before that she lives for the comps.
  • Amanda and McCrae discussed trying to backdoor Helen within the next few weeks.
  • No, that's not because of anything Jessie said in her snit.
  • There's been talk in both camps about getting each other out for some time now.
  • The big "wedding" for McCrae/Amanda went on as planned.
  • Although they had an initial fear that BB would give them a lot of booze and Jessie would act out and crash the party ... neither happened.
  • First off, BB only gave them one bottle of wine for the event.
  • Oh, my a couple of ounces of wine each!
  • The Jessie storm?
  • Nope.
  • Nada.
  • She's over it all. She went around apologizing to people and accepted that she will be voted out on Thursday.
  • She even took part in (not as in crashing) the wedding.
  • Me? I don't want to ever see another fake wedding in the BB house.
  • Do something new and different, hamsters.
  • Heh. When Jessie asked Amanda if they will really marry after BB, Amanda told her that McCrae would need to get a better job first.
  • I've said all along that this isn't going to work out. McCrae, other than his BB fixation, really has no career ambition and I doubt Amanda will change his ways.
  • Andy fussed that the girl's wedding party preparations "girlified" his HoH room.
  • Amanda questioned Jessie some more, digging for information.
  • Jessie continued to mingle and even Elissa accepted her apology (on the surface, at least).
  • She will be voted out tomorrow night.
  • No doubt.
  • But, at least now, she's in a place where she's accepting it better without going utterly mad.

Big brother 15: Live Feeds Tuesday into the Evening - August 13

Hurricane Jessie all worn out

Oh my. I don't even know where to start. Here's the lowdown on what's been happening inside that Big Brother House of 10,000 Maniacs:
  • As I mentioned in my last post, Jessie eavesdropped and heard something that she didn't really want to hear.
  • While she's been the target this week, they had been assuring her she would stay and was but a pawn.
  • She found out that was SO not so.
  • So, she's decided to be a hurricane running amok through the house trying to turn everyone on each other.
  • The only one she trusts or likes at the time of this posting is GinaMarie.
  • @@
  • With the exception of damage she did with the Aaryn/GinaMarie relationship, it seems like she's only solidified the McCrae/Amanda/Helen/Elissa camp.
  • As the day wore on, the truths she was sprouting got mixed with some lies or exaggerations and the others knew it.
  • Andy is disgusted with all of them because this is exactly what he didn't want to happen.
  • Jessie is chain-smoking. Unfortunately, though she is indeed chain-smoking and said she's doing it, she doesn't know the meaning of the phrase. She told Spencer it was smoking when you wanted to. Um, it's actually one after another, hence the word "chain" in there.
  • McCrae keeps joking that he wants to tell her he'll vote to save her if she gives him her cigarettes.
  • Throughout the day, Jessie deliberately did things to annoy the Have Nots -- Helen, Aaryn and Elissa in particular. She cooked bacon, she loudly smacked food, talked about food.
  • It's obvious her original goal was to get McCrae and Amanda to vote to keep her. If she could get them and GinaMarie. That would at least bring it to a tie.
  • Amanda is using the situation to keep prying for information.
  • But even Amanda is finding that not everything Jessie is saying is indeed the truth and that the truths kind of have to get extracted from the anger exclamations.
  • As the tirade/rant/hurricane/whatever continues, Spencer is getting more and more smug.
  • While I realize that Jessie, as an underdog, has fans ... overall her social game in the beginning desperately looking for friendship blew her chances.
  • She keeps going on about people lying to her.
  • She's in the Big Brother house. What game did she think she was playing? It's known for deceiving, lying, backstabbing and then, upon returning home, it's even worse on the Internet.
  • Yes, she probably is too "nice" for this game. That's probably a good thing in the game of life.
  • But in the game of Big Brother, it's a shame that she didn't play with a smidgeon of the toughness she's showing now from the beginning.
  • Too much, too late.
  • Gah. We have two more days of this.

Big Brother 15: Live Feeds Into Tuesday - August 13

What have I gotten myself into?

Well, it was boring boring until the late evening hours, then all heck broke loose. Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Chaotic Crazies:
  • Might as well start where the action started -- Jessie told McCrae and Amanda that Helen and Elissa wanted Amanda out.
  • Now, if memory serves, Helen never did really outright tell her that. I could be mistaken, though. She's said it to a lot of people. She's also said "down the line" and "eventually."
  • I'm almost certain Elissa never said it to Jessie.
  • Helen did her usual damage control, saying that Jessie was trying to make her look bad before she left on Thursday.
  • Elissa wondered, with Jessie going a bit crazed over this, if she (Jessie) might possibly be on medication.
  • That, of course, was the "single most hurtful thing ever said in the house," as per Jessie.
  • @@
  • She might not know really hurtful!
  • Jessie accused Andy of not having her back.
  • Andy acted bewildered.
  • He does that a lot in stressful situations. He's not used to anyone lashing out at him.
  • Although, he was even taken aback by Elissa asking if Jessie was on something.
  • Hmm.
  • Helen got upset with herself for raising her voice at Jessie. She's not upset for defending herself, but doesn't want to be seen raising her voice on television.
  • Um. Okay.
  • Aaryn cemented her relationship with Helen. Now she's in almost as sweet a spot as Andy is -- directly peripheral to both power players.
  • Amanda believes Helen over Jessie.
  • Helen tried to smooth things over with Jessie, telling her she was staying and all.
  • Yeah, right.
  • Jessie took to eavesdropping.
  • When you do that, you often hear things you really don't want to hear.
  • Jessie's grave in the house had already been dug, but she's made it much deeper.
  • She lashed out and/or accused practically everyone except Spencer of lying to her, betraying her trust, leading her on.
  • It's going to be a long two days until eviction.

She claims he has a unibrow

You might not want to hear, Jessie

Big Brother 15: Live Feeds Monday Daytime, PoV Ceremony - August 12

What the heck is with the hair?

I love how some of these gals spend forever popping their pimples and applying make-up, then just shove their hair up in knots. Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Messy Locks:
  • Heh. Amanda said you don't have to backstab to play the game.
  • Yeah, Amanda said it.
  • Really.
  • Of course, she who hasn't won anything technically has no "blood on her hands."
  • BUT ... at other times she's very quick to mention that she (and McCrae) have dictated all the nominations and evictions.
  • So, she has backstabbed. Perhaps she wore a disguise, but she did it.
  • Jessie feels that Helen perhaps isn't paying her enough attention. She was fussing about Elissa being wishy-washy yet at Helen's side all along while she wanted to work with her.
  • Jessie noted that this morning was the first morning with a noticeable change of weather -- it was overcast. She's not used to Southern California.
  • Jessie thinks that Aaryn is getting really touchy (not like touchy-feely, touchy as sensitive to things) because she's midweek on slop and it's her (Aaryn's) first time as a Have Not.
  • That could be it. She went off on the BB voice in the house which directs them to Diary Room, fix their mics, etc.
  • One of the new sayings this year is "Shut it DOWN!" when they're doing something they shouldn't.
  • Helen likes to shop at TJ Maxx and Nieman Marcus. Talk about opposites!
  • We had trivia -- example below -- while they had the PoV ceremony.
  • As expected, Andy did NOT change his nominations.
  • Spencer and Jessie remain on the block.
  • Jessie remains the target although everyone is acting like she isn't so she won't pout for three days or be crushed.
  • Helen said she told Amanda that if she wins HoH, it's too soon to go after anyone other than pawns.
  • Helen considers pawns to be Spencer, (Jessie should be gone), GinaMarie and, to a lesser extent, Aaryn.
  • Both Helen and Amanda have talked to Andy about taking each other out.
  • He's stuck between a rock and a hard place.
  • Oh, what a quandary for everybody's friend!
  • In the long run, I think it depends on which power player has the power first and makes the move. If it's Helen, he'll drift to her. He's more loyal to Amanda, but time is dwindling. He'd be happier if Amanda got out Helen, I think.
  • Amanda STILL thinks Judd was MVP.
  • @@
  • McCrae is worried that GinaMarie and Spencer are in an alliance.
  • Elissa held a yoga class with GinaMarie.
  • GM did better than I would.
  • Mind you, that's not saying much. I'd be horrible at it.

Oh, poor little Amanda

Trivia!

Quick. Elissa, throw GM on her face!

Big Brother 15: Live Feeds Sunday Night Late - August 11-12

Stuck with GinaMarie

Not a heck of a lot has gone down since my last report. But, anyway, here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Woeful Willies:
  • Helen again said she thinks that GinaMarie will be America's Favorite.
  • Andy thinks GM will be portrayed as nuts and not win the honor.
  • He's more right than Helen. Even with the more favorable editing on the show than actuality of the live feeds, she comes across as a whacko.
  • Helen and McCrae talked of never understanding what Howard meant when he spoke. He did tend to speak in circles and metaphors.
  • Aaryn thinks Spencer is sketchy.
  • Andy pointed out that Spencer has no allies, so has little power to use his sketchiness.
  • Spencer told GinaMarie that he trusts Andy.
  • Um. Okay.
  • Andy has a gut feeling that America was the latest MVP and that Amanda is being portrayed as a villain.
  • Bingo!
  • Although, there's no need to "portray" her as a villain ... she is one!
  • Amanda and McCrae's fake wedding is set for tonight.
  • Andy won't give them the HoH room.
  • Good.
  • Andy talked of two men being in love and Aaryn said that was "disgusting."
  • @@
  • Doesn't Aaryn realize that love is (or should be) the major component of ANY relationship?
  • GinaMarie said she asked the Diary Room if she could beat up Candice in the jury house.
  • They told her, "NO."
  • I dunno. I bet Candice just might be able to do a job on GM.
  • Not that I'm promoting fisticuffs, of course.
  • The newly named ex-Goof Troop, now 3am Alliance, talked of various scenarios to get Helen out.
  • That would be Andy, Aaryn, McCrae and Amanda.
  • Helen wonders if Jessie might have deals set with someone as she seems too happy.
  • Maybe she's just happy she might be getting out of there!
  • It was weird to see ALL of the hamsters hang out in the backyard for most of the late evening hours. Usually a few go off in seclusion.
  • Helen got stuck with GinaMarie at the hot tub for what seemed like forever.
  • She even worked her HelenBot throughout that, asking all kinds of questions. If Helen gets in one of those comps about knowing the other hamsters best, she should win hands down. She acts like she's all interested, but I bet she's filing all the knowledge away for future use.
  • Amanda said that she's not racist because she's had sex with black guys.
  • @@
  • Nothing like promoting your promiscuity! (Don't care what color, just the idea of going on about guys with whom you've done da deed!)
  • Amanda told Andy that Aaryn's more sheltered which is why she made the "disgusting" remark.
  • I don't know. Even sheltered should have common sense.
  • Right?
  • Then again, perhaps the hamsters have to swear not to use common sense during the application process.
  • Yeah, that's the ticket -- no common sense permitted!
  • Later today, we'll find out if Andy uses the veto or not. I don't think he will and I believe it still will be Jessie walking out the door on Thursday.

Big Brother 15: Live Feeds Sunday into the Evening - August 11

At least she's not a Have Not

For the most part it's been a ho-hum Sunday in the habitrail. There's so much down time on Sundays that, except for the occasional brouhaha or cat fight, it might as well be nap time for all. Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Horrors:
  • Have to give her credit for trying -- Jessie told the others she thinks Spencer is really good at comps. (And implied that she's not and they should vote him out.)
  • Lots of talk about how Judd did this and Judd did that. Judd pretty much did whatever others wanted him to do.
  • Andy told Helen he's only lied to the people he wasn't loyal to.
  • He's not lying about that.
  • But, do note he didn't tell Helen he hasn't lied to her.
  • GinaMarie was happy Andy won PoV as she thought she'd be the replacement nominee if veto was used.
  • She would have been.
  • Jessie thinks that Amanda/McCrae/Helen/Elissa have a final four deal. She doesn't know anything about Andy's involvement with any of them, or at least how strong his ties are.
  • Both of the power couples work together, but things will end up with them pitted against each other.
  • Helen keeps talking about getting Amanda out.
  • Unfortunately, she's telling that to Andy, Amanda's puppet.
  • Andy, who's been on the fence over which nominee he really wants out, told McCrae that he guesses Jessie will have to go as she told him she wants Amanda out.
  • @@
  • McCrae is worried that Amanda will betray him.
  • Heh.
  • They think Rachel might show up in a Pandora's Box.
  • Andy and Spencer think they trust Amanda and McCrae more than they do Helen.
  • Elissa, though part of that power pair with Helen, is easily dismissed.
  • Spencer thinks Aaryn is a wild card. While her two HoH had the nominations controlled by others, he has no idea what she would do on her own.
  • He has a point there.
  • I'd say she'd just do whatever told by whomever.
  • Now Helen, Andy and McCrae are in a final three deal.
  • Whatever.
  • I can't even try to keep these whacko deals straight.
  • Although I do admit I wouldn't mind seeing that particular final three. I just don't think it's serious.
  • McCrae said, though Amanda has sworn love and future marriage, he feels trapped and depressed. He called her a maneater (not to her face) and said he feels like the girl in the relationship.
  • Good. Now he knows how some girls feel!
  • Andy told Jessie he can't keep playing everybody's friend.
  • He also told her that Spencer has lied to him.
  • He didn't tell her that she's the target this week.
  • Then Andy went off to be Helen's good friend.
  • And on it goes ...

Big Brother 15: New HoH and Nominations Show Blog Party - August 11

Here it is! The second HoH from last Thursday's whirlwind double eviction show! As it airs here on the east coast, I'll update this entry with the major happenings. Refresh the page to get the latest. I'm putting this post up on time, but fear the show is delayed due to golf here. It should start about eight minutes late. (Grr ... but we have been lucky for several weeks, I guess.)

As always, the party is in the comments area. Come join us!

Recap. recap, recap. Some more insight into the Judd eviction.

Finally, halfway into the show, new news. The HoH comp has them "building" a sundae by rolling a ball (cherry) atop a huge sundae in a fake diner set-up. It's done tournament style. HoH will decide the Have Nots for the week.

Jessie won over Helen to move on.
Andy won over GinaMarie.
Amanda won over Spencer.
McCrae over Elissa.
Round one over.

Andy beats Jessie.
McCrae beat Amanda.
Round two over.

It's down to Andy vs. McCrae. ANDY is the new HoH!

He ends up getting volunteers for Have Nots -- Helen, Aaryn, Elissa and then GinaMarie.

Amanda is SO upset that McCrae didn't let her win their round!

Have Nots Vote: cottage cheese and cow peas, turnip and taffy, head cheese and habaneros (sp?) -- this would be for next week as this week they're already eating mung beans and whatever.

They skipped Andy's HoH room reveal and went to Helen campaigning to have Andy put up (his allies) Amanda and McCrae.

Nominations ceremony time. Key order: GinaMarie, Helen, McCrae, Aaryn, Amanda, Elissa. The nominations are Jessie and Spencer. He adores them both, strategic move to secure his own position in the game.

Off Topic: That Was the Week It Was - August 11, 2013

Good morning! If you're looking for my Big Brother live feeds coverage, the latest post can be found right here at this link. This post is my weekly off television topic reflection on the week gone by in both words and photographs I've taken along the way.

Gah. As it is for many summers now, this is my time to be lacking sleep. Unlike some years when I was off from my real job due to knee surgeries, I'm working full time and covering the BB live feeds here on the blog. When I was actually working as blogger for AOL television, this was my cash cow season. Alas, not so much these days. While I do earn some money, it's nothing near the days when I could technically earn more than $100 an hour just writing on AOL. And, this year's cast is very wild, thus getting the Internet audience more worked up than usual. Me? I don't really care who wins the show, I'm just the messenger of the feeds and host of blog parties.

So, I'm in my zombie period at the present. Work, write, work, feed cat, write, work, pet cat, write, work. You get it.

Yes, if I have to ever have another surgery, I'll indeed schedule it in the summer for no other reason than I need the sleep. Local blogger Dan Damon even shouted at me as he drove by me on the street ... "Do you ever sleep?" Sigh. No. Not enough. Not lately.

Anyway ... onto the photos for the week ...

Dreary morning train

In this area, we continue to get more and more rain. Other years, at this time of the summer, most lawns are dried out, leaves are turning brown. This year I've seen green growing where I've never seen it before. That said, I've been enjoying the days without heat waves one after another. Plainfield Train Station

Everything's coming up roses!

Er, well. Maybe not. However, compared to many past years, life is doing okay by me here. I hope it is with you, too! Roosevelt Avenue, Plainfield.

Big Brother 15: Live Feeds Saturday Overnight Into Sunday - August 10-11

Match made in a habitrail

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of People Who Say LOL Out Loud:
  • As you know from my last post, Andy won the Power of Veto.
  • The theme of the veto comp was "Classic Big Brother."
  • The comp itself was named Blood, Bolts and Bandages. The players all have different colored t-shirts touting that.
  • It was one of those comps in which they had to choose to stay or fold.
  • There was a lot of candy in the comp, but they weren't allowed to bring any inside the house.
  • Knowing BB's budget dollar store games and activities, maybe they want to save it for next year?
  • Spencer seems particularly stressed after the comp.
  • Aaryn told Jessie not to worry, she's safe.
  • Hmm.
  • Truth or fiction?
  • Aaryn told Jessie if she did stay and won HoH, she could go after GinaMarie and that would be okay. After all, "GM is a sweet kid, but she's affecting my game."
  • Heh. Now Aaryn is throwing GinaMarie under that reality bus to people with one foot out of the door!
  • Aaryn told Andy that Jessie wants to put up Amanda and McCrae if she stays and wins HoH.
  • They agree Jessie needs to go home.
  • Ah, so the answer is .... fiction!
  • Andy said he won't use the veto on his nominations.
  • Andy thinks they should make both Spencer and Jessie feel safe this week.
  • He does say that Spencer is shady.
  • McCrae told Amanda she's "kind of insensitive."
  • KIND OF?!?!?!
  • Amanda thinks McCrae is just trying to start fights with her.
  • @@
  • She thinks McCrae blames her for EVERYTHING.
  • I say, as it should be.
  • Elissa said she doesn't want to go to jury with these guys. She feels traumatized.
  • As would I. I feel traumatized just watching them at times.
  • Andy told Amanda that, while he thinks he wants Jessie out this week, he feels he needs to weigh the options -- think of the pros and cons of keeping one or the other.
  • Hmm. Not like he has a vote or anything, right?
  • Amanda and GinaMarie have both tried out for American Idol in the past.
  • Yikes.
  • Right now, it still looks like the house will probably vote out Jessie.
  • Bit it's a long time until Thursday.

Big Brother 15: Live Feeds - PoV Winner - August 10

POV has been won!

Andy won PoV. He's on a streak.

No.

He's not streaking.

That's something else entirely.

Big Brother 15: Live Feeds Saturday into the Evening - August 10

Such a good look for her!

Here's what's gone down today inside that Big Brother House of Loonie Losers:
  • The hamsters started their day on inside lockdown due to the PoV comp being erected in the yard.
  • Heh. I said "erected" and wasn't talking about McCrae.
  • Oops. My apologies. I had a Beavis and Butthead moment.
  • Andy really wants the Zingbot to come. Others might regret it if he does.
  • Amanda called Aaryn fat and McCrae called her on it. He told her that's how eating disorders get started.
  • Um, not quite. But no one should be calling anyone fat. Aaryn's not fat. Spencer is a bit hefty, but I think he's lost quite a bit of weight since entering the house.
  • McCrae has been speaking up to Amanda when she says stupid or mean things lately.
  • She doesn't like that.
  • How ever will this "marriage" work out?
  • Bwahahahahaha!
  • Elissa, Andy and Helen talked about making a big move and shaking things up ... next week.
  • I won't hold my breath.
  • I wouldn't advise you to hold yours, either.
  • Helen, Amanda and Elissa were the three extras (no MVP nom this week) chosen to play in the comp.
  • GinaMarie told Aaryn she would never put her on the block.
  • Meanwhile, Aaryn has been praying that someone, anyone, would put GinaMarie on the block. But she won't do it herself. She can't.
  • Aaryn told Helen that Amanda said she doesn't think Helen has any loyalty towards her (Aaryn).
  • Helen told Aaryn she loves her.
  • Oh, gag me right now.
  • At least she didn't compare her to Janelle again.
  • Andy has pretty much decided to put GinaMarie on the block if veto is used.
  • He says that if Jessie wins veto, GM will probably go home.
  • Helen told Elissa she doesn't want to push Andy too hard to make the big move or he'll go to the other side.
  • Hate to tell ya, Helen ... but he's already there.
  • Now Andy is scared to put GinaMarie up if veto is used.
  • @@
  • (Then put up AMANDA, Andy!)
  • Uh-oh. Andy told McCrae and Amanda he'd rather keep Jessie in the house because Spencer has lied to him.
  • Not that he has a vote, mind you.
  • The Have Nots are complaining that you need butter to prepare mung beans and they aren't allowed to have butter.
  • I have no clue about mung beans other than they sound too much like dung beans and I don't want any.
  • Aaryn doesn't know how anyone could like Candice.
  • That doesn't surprise me.
  • Elissa and Jessie, on the other hand, thought GinaMarie was hateful when Candice gave her speech.
  • I personally thought that GM should have had a penalty nom for a catfight on the live show.
  • But no one listens to me.
  • Right now as I post this, the live feeds are blocked with trivia. So the PoV comp must be on.
  • I'll report back on the winner once it's known.

Mr. On the Block Weekly

Big Brother 15: Live Feeds Friday Overnight into Saturday, Noms - August 9-10

The future Mr. Amanda? Bwahahaha!

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of As the Stomach Turns:
  • As I predicted, Andy's nominations were predictable -- Spencer and Jessie.
  • The target is Jessie.
  • Andy's still not sure what he'll do if Jessie wins the veto. He'll have plenty of time to decide as the veto comp is today, the ceremony isn't until Monday.
  • Credit to Jessie for saying "They must really hate me, so I must be doing something right" -- after the live feeds returned post nominations.
  • Helen and Andy agree that Jessie cannot know she's the target. They must tell her she's safe.
  • I think she knows she's the target.
  • Amanda and McCrae think Helen needs to go soon as she'll put them on the block her first opportunity.
  • Aaryn would prefer to vote out Spencer over Jessie.
  • Amanda said she can't do that.
  • @@
  • Aaryn wants to name the alliance she's in with Andy, McCrae and Amanda.
  • Watching the "friendly" power struggle between the power players is a bit interesting. You've got McCrae/Amanda (mostly Amanda) vs. Helen (and a bit of Elissa thrown in). On the surface, all of them are in an alliance with each other.
  • Then you have the peripheral players who have attachments to both of the major player teams -- Andy, Aaryn and Spencer. Jessie and GinaMarie are on the outs with all, but just don't know it.
  • If the peripheral players can live through the ultimate smackdown when a power player goes out, they might be in a very good position towards the end game.
  • Amanda told Aaryn she can't trust Helen.
  • She also pointed out that each person has someone they know what they'll do -- she has Elissa, Aaryn has GinaMarie, Andy has Spencer.
  • Hmm. I don't think Amanda can really predict Elissa.
  • I also think no one can control or predict GinaMarie.
  • And, what about that Helen? If ANYONE has influence on Elissa, it's Helen.
  • Andy continues to play both sides, now tempering it a bit to Helen. He told Amanda he's sure it's too early to think of getting Helen out.
  • Helen told Andy that she really hopes GinaMarie wins America's Favorite at the end of the season because she really needs the money.
  • I say, "Tough, no way. Get a job if you need money!"
  • I know. I'm heartless.
  • Jessie and Spencer talked about how Elissa doesn't need the money.
  • In previous talks, they've all said Helen doesn't need the money.
  • I again say, "If you need money that bad, don't waste what you have on lottery tickets, don't waste time on reality shows ... GET A JOB, A JOB THAT PAYS THE BILLS."
  • Andy held a Skittles party in the HoH room.
  • Now, I could get behind that!
  • Uh-oh. Hamsters on sugar!
  • Amanda told McCrae that they've controlled every nomination, every eviction.
  • Well, SHE has. I'm not sure what McCrae's been doing.
  • That doesn't mean that they won't lose it all.
  • They're worried that Helen is too close to Jessie.
  • But they can control that. Right?
  • The evening ended with sex under the covers and all else sleeping. I don't want to see that.

Soul searching? Maybe she'll find one.

Elissa's still in the house? Really?
