Big Brother 20: Live Feeds into Friday Night - July 20

Back in a secure place

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Foolish Ferrets:
  • As you know from my previous posts: Sam won HoH and her nominations today were Kaitlyn and Haleigh.
  • Apparently in her speech she said something about Haleigh needing to respect herself and behave accordingly.
  • I thought Kaitlyn was the esteemed life coach?
  • Heh.
  • Rockstar and Kaitlyn sulked about Sam nominating two women. Y'know, as a woman, she should have worked to get the men out of the house!
  • (No matter whether some of the men might be better for her own game.)
  • Rockstar continued to rant on about Brett.
  • Now she thinks he must be related to someone (on staff?) because he gets away with everything.
  • @@
  • Mind you, I don't care for Brett. But, if not for jerks, BB would be boring!
  • As much as I enjoy Sam in the house, if it were a house full of Sams, I'd have nothing to report!
  • But it's great to have a single Sam!
  • Kaitlyn told Bayleigh she would never campaign against Haleigh.
  • We'll see how that goes if the nominations remain the same.
  • I doubt Bayleigh will use her power this week. She is increasingly annoyed by Rockstar, Haleigh and Kaitlyn (not necessarily in that order). She's still close with Fessy, but is sorry she linked in with those girls.
  • Tyler certainly won't have to use his power unless Bayleigh uses hers and puts him on the block. That's doubtful.
  • Scottie told Rachel his only way to stay in the game is to win comps, otherwise he's lost. He says he's out of the loop.
  • I just think he's not (A) mean enough and (B) doesn't have the people skills to deal with not being mean.
  • Part of Sam's reasoning for the nominations is that neither of them contribute to the house -- they just make a mess and let others clean it up.
  • The other part had to do with being disrespectful of others and of themselves.
  • Oh my.
  • She saw Haleigh going to Scottie "playing with his heart" and Kaitlyn doing the same when "she has a man at home."
  • Not anymore, it seems!
  • But they don't know that.
  • Heh. Sam said if she needs a renom it might be Rockstar because "she can't control herself so early in the game."
  • Kaitlyn begged Fessy to save her if he wins the veto.
  • He wouldn't commit. He gave the impression he'd rather not play for veto at all.
  • Kaitlyn had a brief talk with Sam. It didn't really go anywhere.
  • Haleigh had a longer talk with Sam. It may have sunk in. We'll just have to see when the next male HOH happens, will she jump in the bed and lead him on?
  • Tyler and Sam had a better talk. She told him that after the veto ceremony and nominees are "locked" in place, she will tell both nominees of her power and that the evicted will have a chance to come back.
  • JC said he can't deal with Rockstar anymore for now. He's been trying to calm her down. But he's reached his breaking point. He's no Sam.
  • That's it for now!

Do we know her?

Ha! Rockstar's girl alliance, huh?!?!

To cry or to mediate, that is the question

Will surely be a target again

Will she listen to Sam's advice?

The loving HoH

I will haunt your dreams. Nitey-nite!

Big Brother 20: Nominations Bulletin - July 20

Welp, the nominations are in. Sam, who made up her mind and didn't want to be swayed by one-on-one meetings of any kind, has spoken.

Kaitlyn and Haleigh

Let the tears (and cheers) begin.

Big Brother 20: Live Feeds into Friday Morning - July 20

And Kaitlyn cried ...

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Failing Foute:
  • As you know, the new HoH in town is Sam.
  • While everyone cheered on her win, some are really worried now.
  • Since Kaycee and Tyler dropped for her, they're not so worried.
  • Rockstar ranted on and on about Brett's speech at the eviction.
  • And on and on.
  • No, Rockstar ... you don't have one of those to suck. Stop being an idiot!
  • She even threatened self-eviction.
  • Go ahead.
  • Do it.
  • Argh ... Kaitlyn talked her out of it.
  • The HoH Reveal was different from most.
  • Sam laid down the ground rules -- It's HER HoH room, she already knows who she will nominate, no one-on-ones, no one in her room without her permission, no one in her room without her and (as per the rules) she won't tell the nominees ahead of time.
  • Good for her!
  • About time someone followed the rules about not telling the nominees!
  • She said once the comps start, things can happen then.
  • She got James Brown for her music. Dang, I like her!
  • Although one of her stated reasons for winning HoH was to get off slop, Sam says she won't eat until her fellow Have Nots can ... but she will drink alcohol and sleep in the comfortable bed.
  • Rockstar is not only ticked off over Brett's speech, she ranted about both Sam and Brett being recruits for the show and shouldn't be there.
  • AND ON HER DAUGHTER'S BIRTHDAY!
  • And Brett doesn't even need the money! Nor does Sam!
  • Sam tried her "it's a game" speech to little avail.
  • Meanwhile, Bayleigh is doubting her choice of alliances. She told Fessy that she only went with them because of him and Swaggy ... but cannot deal with "those girls."
  • There is still controversy over who flipped. Kaitlyn told Fessy she doubts that Tyler flipped and maybe Brett was right in his speech.
  • Heh.
  • Fessy told her two people had to flip because JC voted for Brett to go.
  • Heh.
  • Meanwhile, Brett kept up his eviction speech scenario with Kaitlyn and has her really thinking Rockstar flipped.
  • Kaitlyn told Rachel that if Tyler flipped, she would kill herself.
  • Now, now ... no need for that. Just leave. That would be enough.
  • She thinks Haleigh was the other flip vote.
  • Foute (whatever) if finished.
  • Maybe if they had given their alliance a better name?
  • Naw.
  • Rockstar's over-reaction is doing her more harm than good.
  • Even JC tried to tell her it's only a game.
  • Now Bayleigh and Haleigh are wishing they had flipped.
  • A bit late for that!
  • Now Bayleigh is thinking she's the low man on the totem pole AND that Tyler must have flipped.
  • She could very well be right! Heh. Then she changed her mind again.
  • Scottie is confused.
  • Tyler hinted more to Kaitlyn that Rockstar and Haleigh flipped.
  • Bayleigh told Fessy (the only one who knows of her power) that she wanted to use it for her game, not to get out a bullying girl.
  • Hmm ... I believe she means Kaitlyn.
  • They do think Kaitlyn has everyone wrapped around her little metaphysical fingers.
  • Meanwhile, now Kaitlyn is thinking Sam's power was to flip two votes.
  • @@
  • Rockstar went to pots and pans to harass Brett. How original!
  • Sam told her that she would prefer she stop doing that. Sam wanted this week to be "chill."
  • After much fussing, Rockstar stopped banging the pots and pans and just started shouting things at Brett.
  • Brett maintained his cool, saying later he didn't want to react and get blamed for anything.
  • Nominations are later today. No real indication, but I feel Bayleigh and Haleigh, perhaps Rockstar, should worry.

Sam's coming down to cheers from all

It's MY room!

I'm done! Take me out, Big Brother!

Worried

Not his best look!

Hamster watchers ready?

Ah, Julie is wearing a simple red dress with matching shoes ... much better than last week's outfit! She hints (again) at Sam using her power to save a bro and now we're into the "previously on ..."

But first ... it's a house divided. One vote could make the difference. Which bro will go? Again, pushing the idea of a power app. We get Winston and Brett's ideas on who would/should stay. Kaitlyn is still all upset about Brett's speech mocking her. I doubt she represents her "field." If she does, they're in deep doodoo.

Level 6 is weighing out the pros and cons of the bros. They seem to think Brett is more likely to win comps. The other side gals think Brett is more threatening of the two bros. So, they prefer he goes. The Level 6 gals think work on Sam.

Heh. Rockstar is stuck on the climbing rock wall in the house.  Kaitlyn is still "obsessed" with Tyler. He now realizes he's created a monster. Tyler is in a predicament with both sides thinking they have his vote. Winston wants to tug on Sam's heartstrings for her vote to stay. Again, another Diary Room bit with Sam contemplating using her power app. I really think production prompts those.

We're going to go visit Sam's family in Virginia before they finally get to the live eviction. Aw, Sam's parents are nice. She's very creative and her local people love her.

Finally to the living room!
Brett -- Nervous in front of pretty girls. Shell of a man, broken heart. All of you have repaired that heart. Apologizes to Kaitlyn, says Rockstar was going to flip the vote and blame it on Kaitlyn.
Winston -- Had a poem. Goes on about great duos and leads to the bros. Hard to campaign against Brett, would appreciate staying.

The votes to evict:
Kaitlyn -- Brett
Rachel -- Winston
Kaycee -- Winston
Rockstar -- Brett
Fessy -- Brett
Bayleigh -- Brett
... into commercial ...
Angela -- Winston
Haleigh -- Brett
JC -- Winston
Tyler -- Winston
Sam -- Winston

Six to five, Winston is out. Sam does NOT use her power. Rockstar is lighting into Brett. I thought we might have a brouhaha but she stomped away.

He's not happy. He threw Sam's homemade friendship bracelet to the ground. He's upset that his whole alliance voted against him. Julie let him know that Sam and JC did, too.

HoH Comp -- Out on a Limb -- standing on a tree in the BB Forest. It's a wall comp indeed. Here comes the rain!

All still up doing shout-outs as the show ends. My live feeds post will be up shortly.

Big Brother 20: Live Feeds into Thursday - July 19

Just playing ...

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Get Your Schedule Right:
  • My apologies for the late show blog post last night. CBS really needs to stop screwing around with the Wednesday night show schedule. They claimed the new schedule is 9pm. It was listed in TV listings at 9pm as late as Monday when I last looked. Then they switched it to 8pm AGAIN.
  • Now, tonight's show will end at the start of an HoH endurance comp. I will post a show post immediately followed by a separate post to follow the comp on the live feeds.
  • Be there or be square.
  • If the comp is a wall, I wonder how Rockstar will do. She climbed the rock wall in the living room the other day then panicked and couldn't get down. Of course, if she freezes and panics, she just might win a wall comp!
  • Oh noes!
  • BB used to have strict rules about sending messages to the outside world and writing. Why can Rockstar leave a message for her kid on that one wall? I'm sure the kid appreciates her mother who left the family for three months in search of fifteen minutes of fame sending the message, but ...!
  • Okay, that was my Pick On Rockstar segment. I'm over it now.
  • Or not.
  • Angela told Brett that she thinks that if Sam doesn't use her power this week, it's automatically played next week. She said she isn't sure.
  • I am sure.
  • When Bayleigh asked Scottie to describe the game play of others, he said Winston is irrelevant and Sam is sneaky.
  • SNEAKY? Sam is one of the un-sneakiest BB players ever! He called that one wrong.
  • Scottie is still wanting Brett to go this week.
  • Tyler and Company still would prefer Brett stay.
  • Lots and lots of "what if" talks about HOH wins and who they'll nominate.
  • I, for one, am very happy Bayleigh put herself right in the mix and is playing the game after Swaggy went. I had feared more crying.
  • Bayleigh is saying that Kaitlyn has the third power when indeed it's Bayleigh herself who has it. I believe she only told Fessy and he hasn't told anyone else.
  • Tyler has remained mum about his power. Good.
  • Everyone knows of Sam's power, but the details are sketchy for most.
  • A lot of them think JC has the second power.
  • When Tyler asked JC if he had a power, JC said he would have told him if he did. But, otherwise, he's just letting the rumors fly!
  • Bayleigh and Tyler talked about how possessive others are with friendships in the house. Specifically mentioned were Kaitlyn and Fessy. Yep, they got that right.
  • That said, Bayleigh would like to target Tyler. Nothing personal, all game.
  • She didn't tell him that, though!
  • They played games and did little improv bits to amuse themselves. They played Never Have I Ever.
  • It's all a waiting game until tonight.

Kaitlyn: "I'm a pretty girl."

Fessy 'fesses?

Messages to the outside allowed now?

Best comeback from a showmance eviction

Entertaining themselves

Just a country boy

Big Brother 20: POV Show Blog Party - July 18

Sorry this is late. The show was originally scheduled for 9pm!

It's the get dizzy and spin veto comp. This time, after spinning, they have to stack champagne glasses in a pyramid.

Scottie won the Power of Veto!

Brett is kicking himself for losing the comp. He's not happy. Sam consoles him and tells us via the Diary Room that she could use her power to save him ... or save it for whomever is evicted next week.

Scottie is ready for the brodown.

Winston is all apologetic for his reactions after the comp to Scottie.

To read or not to read! Haleigh must read 'Hamlet' in costume standing on an apple crate wherever dictated by BB. The first reading is in the kitchen. 494 pages, not to be read all at once, but she must finish reading the entire play. BB is calling her all around the house for the readings.

The bros go to Scottie and propose he take Winston off and backdoor Kaitlyn. They tell him that both sides of the house will be okay with that.

Oh, geez. Kaitlyn's visions have Brett and Winston coming after her. Scottie admits to her that they did.  Rockstar and Fessy are there, too. It fits Scottie's own agenda, so he's fine with her aura, visions, whatever. So, she confronts the bros.

Veto meeting time! Scottie lets them talk.
Winston - Doesn't want to campaign against Brett.
Brett - An odd poem, had a vision, you must take me off.

Mean, but funny.

Scottie didn't save either of them.

Big Brother 20: Live Feeds into Wednesday Morning - July 18

Having fun yet?

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Waiting For Thursday:
  • As I have mentioned before -- the more screen caps I post, the less happening in the house.
  • Sigh.
  • When it's on the quiet side like now I tend to get irked at the smallest things.
  • Rockstar's annoying ridiculous self-imposed character.
  • Kaitlyn's increasingly gurgly voice.
  • Oh, well. Onto the happenings (or non-happenings) of the day ...
  • Brett and Tyler talked about this being the last week for Sam to use her power and she should use it on Brett.
  • Hmm. Technically, it's good for another week. It's just that next week there will be no choice.
  • Sam would like to build up a mobile haircut salon.
  • Not in the house, of course.
  • Gah! Sam, I love ya like a sister, but ... why did you tell Rockstar you have a power?!?!
  • At least she didn't go into details and told her it ends this week if she doesn't use it.
  • Rockstar is convinced that JC also has a power.
  • At least Tyler is keeping his mouth shut about his power. Some speculate he has it, but he hasn't told anyone.
  • Kaitlyn, now hanging on Scottie a lot more, needs to keep her lies straight. She is no Andy working all sides of the house.
  • Kaitlyn also blew up about casting allowing people like Sam into the house when she hasn't a clue how the game is played.
  • I'm ready to blow up about them letting Kaitlyn, an obviously unbalanced soul, into the house.
  • She also told Scottie that she's disappointed that girls (Kaycee, Angela and Rachel) want to keep Brett when he's so disrespectful of women.
  • @@
  • Of course, just yesterday she was hanging all over Brett and he apparently preferred the others.
  • Tyler has come to the realization that he built a monster named Kaitlyn.
  • Winston still can't get JC to commit to voting to keep him.
  • That's because JC isn't going to vote to keep Winston.
  • JC warned Scottie about all of Kaitlyn's lies and fabrications.
  • Hmm.
  • JC is working both sides of the house and most know it. But, at least he keeps his stories straight.
  • Interesting ... when a couple of the hamsters talked about Kaitlyn holding hands with Tyler and what her boyfriend would think, the feeds cut. Maybe he did indeed get to rescind his permission to be talked about.
  • Winston worked for votes to stay. He told Rachel he threw the last HoH comp.
  • Some of the hamsters are suspicious that Sam might be a plant, an America's Player sort of thing.
  • The ants have come back. The Diary Room told Tyler they need to clean and not leave food sitting out.
  • Heh.
  • Rockstar claimed that her father once lent Donald Trump a million dollars.
  • Yet she says she needs to win the money on the show for her children.
  • @@
  • The stress is getting to Sam. She cried, all alone.
  • Kaitlyn keeps her tears for when the others can give her attention.
  • It still looks like Brett will probably stay.

Big Brother 20: Live Feeds into Tuesday - July 17

Tries way too hard to be "unique"

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of An Irked Owl:
  • For something new and different -- Kaitlyn talked in her gurgly almost crying voice, then cried.
  • I figured out, other than thinking she's an expert at BB, why I'm bothered by Rockstar. First, she calls herself Rockstar. Second ... I really like people who are their own people, people unique and different. But when someone works too hard at being "out there" it just all comes across as an act to me.
  • Obviously, we have had little going on since I'm blathering about that stuff.
  • Despite the fact that there are sides in the house, we've had no really good brouhahas and barely a kerfuffle.
  • I'm almost ready for them to join hands and sing Kumbaya
  • Sure, they trash talk (whisper, write on arms) about others behind closed doors. But, when together, it's all just so peachy-keen!
  • Almost everyone has taken part in Kaitlyn bashing when she's not around.
  • I believe the internet has done the same.
  • Yet she continues to cry and hang all over Tyler and Fessie ... and anyone else who gets stuck with her.
  • I bet she still thinks she made such a big move and will go down in BB history.
  • She just might go down in BB history ... beating all previous records of crying in the house.
  • Rachel wants her fellow Level 6 members not to throw the HoH comp to Brett.
  • So ... we know they prefer to keep Brett over Winston.
  • Meanwhile, Winston and Bayleigh bonded a bit.
  • Her side would prefer to keep Winston as Brett may be harder to beat in comps. They feel they can get Winston out whenever they want to boot him.
  • A rather odd alliance formed overnight -- Bayleigh and Kaycee.
  • Hmm.
  • Bayleigh is so much better without Swaggy. She's started playing the game!
  • I've noticed that there are two people riding completely under the radar when talk of future evictions go down -- JC and Sam.
  • JC isn't particularly trusted and people think he's working both sides of the house, can't be trusted. But they like him nonetheless. And, he does certainly try hard.
  • And Sam is just Sam. She likes to cook for people, brighten their days, be a shoulder to cry on. No one can accuse her of scheming.
  • Yet she does scheme, mostly with the Level 6 group although she's not really a part of it.
  • Scottie is a bit suspicious of Sam, but not to the point of wanting her out of the house. I believe he thinks there are bigger fish to fry.
  • Rockstar said that she searched for years for eyeglasses that would make her look "cool." She finally went with "ridiculous." Yep, that's the ticket!
  • It's still up in the air which bro will go.
  • Scottie now has Tyler's number and knows he's "dangerous" in the game.
  • Sam is reluctant to use her power.
  • I have a feeling production might try to influence her to use it.
  • Oh, well. If she doesn't, whoever is evicted next week will get a chance to come back. Is the unknown better than the known?
  • Hmm ...

Hammock talk

Tyler, probably avoiding Kaitlyn

And Kaitlyn cried ...

Big Brother 20: Live Feeds into Monday Evening - July 16

Will he change his own nominations?

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of She's a Life Coach?:
  • I don't have a heck of a lot for you today.
  • That's because not a whole lot happened.
  • Kaitlyn cried.
  • She also talked to Tyler in this odd gurgling voice like she was hiding more tears deep down in her throat.
  • Tyler never really trusted her and now really doesn't trust her.
  • Kaitlyn also cried all over Scottie and told him practically every breath she's taken in the game -- including her vote to send Steve packing.
  • She also told Scottie about Sam's power although she doesn't know all the details.
  • @@
  • Perhaps she might be a good life coach for gerbils.
  • But not for people!
  • When the time came, the feeds got blocked for the veto ceremony.
  • As expected, Scottie kept his nominations the same.
  • So, unless Sam uses her power to possibly bring the evicted back, either Brett or Winston will go home.
  • Right now it's looking like that would be Winston out the door.
  • Once again, it won't be a unanimous vote and might only be a vote or two deciding.
  • Winston is walking around asking people what he should do.
  • Brett is letting girls flirt on him.
  • And on it goes ...

Raising the awnings duty

Call the wahmbulance and take her away!

Bros summit conference

Oh geez ...

Big Brother 20: Live Feeds into Sunday Evening - July 15

To read or not to read ... in the shower

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Shakespearean Readings:
  • Actually, the Crap App punishment for Haleigh was the highlight of the feeds today.
  • She'd have to don the costume and read wherever directed on cue.
  • I was a bit surprised that some of the hamsters started skipping the sessions.
  • That's rude.
  • It's not like they have much else to do!
  • Haleigh actually read quite well.
  • JC helped fan her at times, carried her soapbox at times. I think he likes to feel useful.
  • The Have Nots were selected. It's Brett (who somehow got to be Have Not due to the veto comp), Sam, Tyler and Angela.
  • Kaycee volunteered for Have Not, but Tyler out-volunteered her.
  • At least they have the Slop Chef Sam in there!
  • The rest of the house will probably suffer without her cooking!
  • Angela is the other steady cook in the house.
  • I predict  a lot of easy dishes this week.
  • There are still some rumblings about the women making it an all woman house. I dunno. I can't see Kaitlyn existing without a man to hang on.
  • Brett's been fussing about doing so poorly in the veto comp. He says he didn't understand the rules.
  • Um. Okay.
  • Kaitlyn, talking to Bayleigh, said that Sam is indebted to her for her flipped vote and if she goes up as a renom, Sam would have to save her with her power.
  • @@
  • Then Kaitlyn fussed to us because she didn't win a power app.
  • Ha.
  • After all, she says Fessie called her the best BB player of all time.
  • Oh my. This girl's in for culture shock when she gets out of the house.
  • Sam had a long talk with Brett. She seems to really like him.
  • I can't help but wonder if she might be considering using her power to save him. She can give it to another player.
  • Hmm.
  • Other than that, it looks like Scottie will keep the nominations the same.
  • It's a toss-up which bro will go. Now it's looking like Winston, but give it a few more hours and it will be Brett again.

Listening to Sam

Long, long Sam and Brett talk

Exploding head time?

Big Brother 20: Nominations, App Store Show Blog Party - July 15

As the show airs here, I'll be live-blogging it -- refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area. Please feel free to join in on the discussion!

Please remember that the show blog posts are spoiler-free! While the PoV has already happened in the house, that won't air until Wednesday.

On with the show ...but, first -- previously on. Run and get your snacks now!

Scottie thinks if someone else on his alliance -- Swaggy and Company -- gets blamed for the hinky vote, he will move up on the totem pole with them. Of course, they pretty much realize soon that he was the vote.

Although Bayleigh is still professing her love of the Swagster, she realizes she needs to get her head back into the game. In the bromance arena, Brett thinks they need to avoid having two Level 6 people on the block. Fessy is irked over the vote. He doesn't think Scottie would flip. Rockstar clues him in. He's still sure it was Haleigh flipping. Rockstar works on him some more and refers to Scottie as "Evil Genius." She even thinks he might not be a virgin!

Fessy talks to Kaitlyn who denies knowing anything about Scottie flipping, didn't know before and doesn't know now. Poor Fessy doesn't know who to trust right now.

First rule of BB -- You can only really trust yourself!

Lucky us! We get a segment on the Brett/Winston bromance. Bros for life!

Scottie wants to target them, either one. He wants to make it seem like it was everybody else's idea. He asks people what they voted for the Steve vote and who they're scared of in the house. Tyler notices that Scottie seemed to concentrate on Level 6. He tries to divert the attention to Rockstar, saying that she told Kaitlyn that Scottie was the vote.

Ohh ... Sam tells Scottie that Winston voted to keep her. Winston told Scottie he voted to keep Steve. More ammunition against the bros for Scottie! Heh. Winston finds out that Sam told the truth. Now he must do damage control.

Winston thinks his best approach to Scottie is to tell him he had lied to Sam. Yeah, like that's gonna work. Brett wants to cover their butts with Scottie. Brett tries to blame Haleigh and Rockstar. Scottie thinks he got misted.

We get a math lesson regarding the amount of left-handed people via JC and Fessy.

The App Store is open for the last time!
Haleigh gets the Crap App and chooses Read It - must put on costume and read Hamlet on demand. It will end once she's read the entire book.
Bayleigh got the Power App. She chose Identity Theft -- first half of game, can steal the identity of HOH and make the nominations.

Sam is telling Tyler and Kaycee that this week is her last chance to use  her power app or the evicted next week gets it. They think all of Level 6 might be safe if she uses it.

Brett is confident he and Winston will be safe.
