BB21: Live Feeds Saturday, PoV - Sept. 7

Gave HoH room to Nicole, yet canoodle anyway

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Scampering Squirrels:
  • Jackson does seem to have quite the thing for Nicole.
  • Thankfully, not a sexual thing.
  • When she won the first HoH, he started beaming like a proud father.
  • Now, she already had Cliff doing that role.
  • So, let's call Jackson her brother. It is that kind of true friends, sibling relationship going on.
  • He ordered Backstreet Boys for his music for her as that had been her choice. While the first HoH in a double gets basket goodies, they don't get the room or music.
  • Then Jackson told BB he would give up his photos to let her move hers to the HoH room.
  • Then he gave up the HoH room to Nicole. At first she didn't take it, but then broke down.
  • Not to take anything away from Jackson's Nicole-Love, but I will. On Thursday night when no one had the room, he was telling Holly he preferred the room they were in over the HoH. He doesn't like the temperature in the HoH and he thinks its dark and dreary atmosphere affects him.
  • I've been having to really lighten up any screen caps I take of the HoH room as it's so dark. So, I guess it's not just dark on the live feeds, but in person, too.
  • Nicole is still in heaven.
  • She talked to us from her HoH bed last night. She thinks that whatever's meant to be will be and really hopes one of the four win veto.
  • If she herself wins veto, she'll take Cliff down -- "you don't take risks with your number one."
  • In that scenario, the only person Jackson would be able to put up would be Holly.
  • Technically, Cliff and Nicole (who would be the only ones voting) could turn on her, keep Tommy and vote Holly out.
  • I don't think either would break their word, though.
  • It might be different if they had a shot at Jackson.
  • Today Nicole told Jackson that she will take Cliff down if she wins veto and her reasons behind it.
  • Back to her conversation with us last night -- she said if Cliff wins the veto he would take himself down. She understands and figures Jackson would put her up with Tommy instead of Holly. In that case, she hopes loyalty will come through and she would still be safe.
  • She figures that if Holly or Jackson win the veto, the noms would remain the same.
  • I think she's got things pretty well pegged there.
  • The only real threat is that if Tommy wins veto -- it would be quite likely Cliff would get evicted.
  • Due to BB having the same comps year to year roughly at the same time in the season, they're all pretty sure it's the BB Comics comp.
  • Not every year, but almost every year they've been on a zip line and it's quasi-athletic as well as mentally challenging.
  • The comp has been playing out for some hours now as I type this up.
  • Y'see, I type to the beat of the BB theme music with the feeds minimized.
  • Tommy, perhaps thinking that Christie would blab in the jury house anyway, more likely some sort of ploy for sympathy -- went and told Holly and Jackson about his long time outside of the house previous relationship with Christie.
  • Tears streaming, of course.
  • We ended up with blocked live feeds the second he mentioned his aunt.
  • Since Christie and the aunt ended their long relationship on a bad note, I doubt she's signed a release for them to talk about her. Thinking back, when they were alone both Tommy and Christie talked about some previous life things, but never really talked about the aunt.
  • So, either there's no release or BB is keeping the drama to themselves.
  • Tommy begged Jackson and Holly to keep the information secret and not tell the others.
  • Hmm.
  • I'm hoping they remember that Tommy was full of accusations that Nick and Nicole knew each other not all that long ago.
  • I'm really not sure how this poly might work into things.
  • I didn't see Jackson and Holly stepping up to Tommy and telling him that they sort of kind of knew each other because Jackson followed Holly's Instagram until his then girlfriend made him stop.
  • However, that's totally different than going to grade school with someone and having a sever-year relationship with his aunt, going to family doings for nearly a decade and all.
  • I guess Tommy might have been going for the angle that he had to play Christie's game or adapt his game to it and wants the chance to play for himself?
  • I don't know.
  • I just wish the comp would end and the feeds would return.
  • Just waiting and waiting.
  • No sense posting this then usurping it with a PoV winner post.
  • But really.
  • The feeds need to come back on. The comp needs to be over.
  • NICOLE WON THE POWER OF VETO!
  • YAY!

I will win veto! I must win veto!

Definitely smitten in a sibling way w/Nicole

If I win veto, I'll take Cliff off the block

BB21: Live Feeds Nominations Bulletin - Sept. 6

Today was a busier than usual Friday for them between the delayed HOH comp and the nominations. That means a whole lot of blocked live feeds for us. When they were on, it seemed like some kind of mutual admiration society going on. Jackson got his HOH room and goodies.

Oh. And the nominations were totally expected -- Tommy and Cliff. If Tommy wins the veto (BB Comics) and saves himself, we could very well lose Cliff this week. The only way Cliff wouldn't go home is if Jackson put Holly up in Tommy;s place. I just don't see that happening.

BB21: Live Feeds into Friday, 2nd HoH - Sept. 6

Nicole was pumped after winning 1st HOH
Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Jumping for Joy:
  • Did any of you notice during the show's HoH comp that when it was announced that Nicole had one piece left, Cliff deliberately picked a piece he already matched and fumbled around to throw it to her?
  • Then she missed the first shot and Tommy almost won!
  • Eek.
  • The feeds came back a while after the show, then went into the adoptable animals for a few hours.
  • But that wasn't HOH. Or, if it was supposed to be it ended up not being it.
  • Technical difficulties maybe?
  • I think this might be the first time ever that everyone in the house seemed to be so happy for someone's HoH win.
  • Well, maybe not Christie. And, true, Tommy was happy to a lesser extent than the others. But even he told Nicole how proud he was of her.
  • Cliff acted like a proud Dad and never mentioned his "misplaced" puzzle piece. He kept going on about how she earned it.
  • Jackson told her that from the bleachers where he was he felt like he was a proud father cheering on his child in a sport.
  • Holly too was so happy for Nicole. While she was certainly happy she was safe, she pointed out that Nicole's whole winning and Cliff's winning veto was the first time she honestly felt trust working out in the house.
  • While Tommy is the main target for any of the other four and he knows it, he's taking it better than some we've seen.
  • The four decided that if one of them wins HoH, Tommy and anybody would go up, Tommy voted out.
  • Cliff and Nicole think Tommy would target Jackson/Holly if he wins HoH. And, if one of them came down, it would end up a tie with Tommy breaking it.
  • Nicole was a joy to watch not only when she first got her HoH basket with goodies, letter from home and photos ... it was even more fun to watch her go through everything one by one later when she was by herself. She even read the letter out loud and replied to each sentence.
  • The feeds were finally blocked around 12:30pm ET for the delayed comp.
  • Okay, the feeds are back and we finally have the second HoH.
  • JACKSON won HoH.
  • This means that unless he wins the veto, Tommy will be evicted this week.
  • I'm thinking he might be good at BB Comics. Hmm.
  • If Tommy wins veto, I think that Cliff might go.
  • Although the nominations aren't made yet, from their conversations last night, it sounds like Cliff would go up (as a pawn) with Tommy.
  • If Tommy comes down, either Holly or Nicole would have to go on the block with Cliff.
  • If it's Holly, Tommy might vote her out over Cliff. So would Nicole.
  • But I don't see Jackson putting Holly in that position.
Nicole got unicorn slippers in her basket

Quieter than usual, but not mad at Nicole.

BB21: Live Feeds - No Second HOH Yet - Sept. 6

Just a quick note to let you know that, for some odd reason, the HoH comp was NOT played last night. The feeds were blocked for a few hours, thought it was being played, but nope.

I think there might have been technical issues. As with other production things, they can't talk about whatever is going on other than they're expecting HOH to play out today. After the feeds returned from the blockage, no one seemed to be hurt and it didn't sound like they played at all. They didn't mention Bayleigh and Swaggy being there. However, on Twitter both of them said they arrived there yesterday.

Nicole got her HoH basket with goodies and photos. But they didn't let her have the HoH room, not even for the one night.

So ... I don't know. I figured you should know what I don't know. When I do know, I'll let you know.

BB21: Live Double Eviction Show Blog Party - Sept. 5

Unlike the PoV show full of filler fodder, this show should rock along nicely. I doubt they'll have a jury house update until next week. I want action! Cliff or Jess will walk out the door. But … who will win the HoH and evict the second one tonight? And who will even be nominated and poofed away? I like double evictions!

For those of you in the blog pool -- SueGee has updated the pool and you can find your hamster right AT THIS HERE LINK.

For those of you who might have missed the news -- CBS has renewed Big Brother for the BB22 season, hosted by Julie Chen-Moonves. So, this cast didn't get the show dumped!

I'll be live blogging the major events of the show and constantly updating this post as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh this page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area -- please feel free to join in on the fun!

Julie put on a red dress for tonight's show. But then we have to sit through the previously on segment.

Day 79 and we have to endure more Holly/Jackson. Jackson explains his duos strategy -- seems to me a repeat from last night. Jess going and the two other duos knocking each other out.

Christie goes to Cliff, telling him Jackson is working everybody. She says Jackson is making it clear that he's working with Cliff and Tommy. Cliff doesn't quibble with her but heads to the HoH room to tell them. He tells Jackson that Christie is throwing him under the bus. Jackson tells him the final four with Nicole and Cliff is real. Holly knew Christie would be a problem. (Yet they haven't succeeded in getting her our.)

To the living room for the first eviction (and "surprise" them about the double) -- She tells them there is no jury battle back. Tommy overacts about the double eviction announcement. @@

Jess -- Shout outs half of her time, love you BB guys so much, one shot at the game, want to be here, if I'm good for your game keep me.
Cliff -- Shout outs too -- Speaks highly of Jess, want to stay, love you all, will walk out with pride if need be.

The votes to evict:
Holly - Jess
Nicole - Jess
Christie - Jess
Tommy - Jess

Oh noes! The outcast is unanimously outcast! Jess is OUT!

She holds the door open for the others to see a long time and then forgets to bring her hag out. When asked, she tells Julia she thinks Jackson will be going out tonight, too.

HoH comp time. On Thin Ice -- build ice puzzle, score hockey goal -- first one done wins. Jackson can't play.

YES! NICOLE WINS HOH! Tommy was very close behind her!

Cliff talks with her briefly. They discussed how each should nominate Tommy and Christie before. That seems to be the plan. Cliff tells her if one comes down, either Michie/Holly up. And we go to commercial.

Live nominations ceremony begins. Nicole nominates Christie and Tommy!

Power of Veto is ON. What the Bleep classic comp, all playing. Bleeped out word or phrase from previous hamsters, Julie will complete and they answer true of false, seven questions.

1. All right
2. All right
3. All right
4. Tommy and Jackson don't get a point
5. Cliff, Christie and Nicole get it right. I got it right.
6. Cliff, Christie, Tommy and Michie right.
7. CLIFF WINS THE POWER OF VETO!

I don't think he needs the two minutes to strategize. In a brief talk, Cliff and Nicole say the noms will remain the same and Christie should go. I personally think they should get rid of Tommy because Christie is nothing without him, but they didn't call me to ask.

To the living room -- Cliff does NOT use the PoV. Christie and Tommy remain on the block.

Back in the living room for the eviction.

Tommy -- Not prepared, obsessed with game and Julie, dream come true, proud of Nicole. Loves all.
Christie -- Cries, cries, cries, you're amazing and will probably win (to Jackson?)

The votes to evict --
Jackson - Christie
Holly - Christie
Cliff - Christie

Finally, the annoyance is gone but the actual game threat Tommy remains.

She cries, but quasi-recovers talking to Julie. She does think they should have taken Tommy off instead of her for their games. She thinks Jackson will probably win. Julie brings up her relationship with Tommy. Hurt or helped game? Definitely helped her.

Swaggy and Bayleigh will host the next HoH. We can also expect BB Comics veto.

Now, the next HoH will probably play out late tonight. When I know something I'll post an update in a separate post. I expect the live feeds to be blocked for it and, if they start way late, my update won't be until morning.

BB21: Live Feeds into Thursday - September 5

Hmm … can't play in upcoming HOH

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Repetitive Rats:
  • I know I've complained about chess being boring during past seasons.
  • This season I found out that backgammon is just as boring.
  • I've come to the conclusion that board games are bored games if you're just watching them. Playing them is another matter entirely.
  • Despite like, a day, like, with Jessica running around campaigning and singing her sad song, it seems to be all for naught.
  • The only real question about the Jess eviction will be whether it will be another sheeple house vote or not.
  • With Cliff working on Christie, he might have flipped her vote.
  • If Christie votes for Jess to go, so should Tommy.
  • If Jess gets voted out by a unanimous vote it will give her more insecurities about being an "outsider."
  • I learned much after my childhood years and well by the time I was her age, to embrace my outsiderisms. My own particular weirdness grew on me and I found out more people like me than I thought at one time in my life.
  • She needs to get over it.
  • Or, not go on a show like Big Brother.
  • I also learned I would never put myself in that position. That would be asking for the men in the white coats to take me away.
  • Haha, hoho, heehee.
  • For not having won anything, Nicole has worked her way into favor with so many.
  • She might have messed up the love from Christie, though.
  • In a long talk which set the stage for Cliff's campaign to Christie, Nicole got her to trust her enough to swear on her nonexistent sister that if she (Christie) won HoH, she'd go after Holly and Jackson.
  • Of course, in solidifying her standing with Holly and Jackson, Nicole told them all about her conversation with Christie.
  • If that gets back to Christie, there would go the Nicole love.
  • While Nicole did/does have the opportunity to work with either couple -- Jackson/Holly or Tommy/Christie, she's chosen the pair she thinks is stronger -- Jackson/Holly.
  • I'm not sure that's the case heading into the double eviction.
  • Jackson can't play for the first HoH round of the night and Holly is quite sick. That would necessitate a Cliff or Nicole win which we know is probably unlikely (but would be welcomed by me).
  • I just can't see Christie as a power player in comps. She foolishly throws comps she should try to win and fails at winning ones that are important to her game.
  • Tommy, on the other hand, was holding back for much of the season. At this point he's already exposed his working with Christie, so he has nothing to lose and all to gain by winning.
  • No, still their secret about knowing each other so long and so well remains unknown to all the others in the house.
  • They have decided that it's quite a strong possibility that they're heading into a double tonight.
  • In other news, they made little homemade puppets. That was more fun to watch them playing with them rather than watching them play a board game.
  • Christie named hers Ariel and set it on the table to "take a nap."
  • The BB voice announced, "Ariel, no napping." Christie laugh so hard she snorted and cried.
  • I can't see how she claims to not be a crier outside the house. Heck, she cries when she laughs.
  • So, there you have it.
  • Jess will be talking to Julie tonight unless worlds collide or something today.
  • And, we should have a show more interesting than the live feeds and definitely more interesting than the Holly/Jackson snit filler that we saw on Sunday's show.

Hmm … is sick heading into the double

Tommy told Nicole he'd vote for her to win

Like, I'm about to be an outcast outcast

Handmade puppets, Ariel is center.

Not going anywhere, at least in the first round

BB21: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - Sept. 4

As the promos for tonight have promised, it will be the Hide-and-Go Seek veto comp. While it's always a fun watch, I can't help but wonder if BB needs to drop or change up some of these comps. The hamsters expect them. Many have looked around for good hiding spots on and off all summer.

I'll be live-blogging and updating this post with the major events as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area -- please feel free to join in on the fun!

The narrator reminds us there are only three weeks left. And, yes they used the Jess fall to open between previously on and new material.

Jackson tells us he wouldn't mind either Jess or Christie going home. Jess feels played and doesn't know why Jackson nominated her. She also hates being on the block with her buddy Christie. Christie tearfully tells us she just has to trust Jackson (that she's a pawn).

Ah, we're into Jess/Christie crying session. You know Jess always felt left out, last one to be picked in the schoolyard as a kid and all of that stuff.

Christie and Nicole talk about getting to know each other in the house better. Jackson pooh-poohs the idea. He says things are personal and then he gives them grief about the time/date they chose to get everyone together to do it.

So, now we're into Jackson/Holly drama. She feels he's condescending. He's clueless why she feels that way.

Time to pick players for the veto comp. Jackson draws Nicole. Christie drew Tommy. Jess got Houseguest's Choice and went for Cliff. The only one not playing is Holly.

Holly feels she's being shut out by Jackson even though she did get him his morning coffee. Holly tells him he didn't say good morning, then calls him a douchebag in front of the others. He gets all upset and tells us he didn't deserve to be treated that way. Christie takes it as an opportunity to bond with Holly.

Holly goes to talk to him and he tells her no one talks to him like that, claims he's done everything to make her happy, won't get walked all over or be unappreciated. He tells her he's done with her. "Not doing that on CBS!" She cries. I don't feel sorry for either of them. She shouldn't have jumped into bed with him after two weeks (and after he bedded another girl and dumped her in the house) and he's a jerkface.

The veto comp is Hide and Go Veto, like we already knew. The vetoes are in the form of life preservers. They each separately get two and a half minutes to hide their veto. Then they each get timed visits separately to go in and search for the hidden vetoes. Jackson found the first veto. (Whose they are will be revealed at the end of the comp -- last person's found is the winner.) Christie is the messiest so far, just throwing stiff around.

Spoke too soon. Jackson tells us he wants to trash the house. He finds another one. Tommy found one. Then Jess found one. The house is a mess but at least no one deliberately poured out milk or Froot Loops.

Tommy's veto is the only one not found -- TOMMY WINS THE POWER OF VETO!

Christie is thrilled because she's sure Tommy will save her (once again).

Then they go into the house to look at and clean up the mess.

Jess is sure Tommy won't save her. She needs to think of a plan because she doesn't want to meet Julie on eviction night.

Oh geez … Holly goes back to Jackson. No sympathies coming from me! And, they hug. Gah. She tells us she adores him. She doesn't want to lose him. So, the showmance is back on.

Time for the veto meeting. Whatever will Tommy do? Why, of course, he saves his long time family friend Christie once again!

Jackson puts Cliff in Christie's place. Cliff is to be a pawn while Jess is his target.

Jess cries some more. They should show her falling in the HoH comp again to prove her point.

Christie would prefer Jess stay and Cliff go because she thinks Cliff and Jackson are her biggest obstacles who might thwart a win for her.

BB21: Live Feeds into Tuesday - September 3

Pawning his way through the game

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Dwindling Days:
  • Gosh, it's been so exciting in the house!
  • Er.
  • Or not.
  • They received the grill for the yard and Jackson decided he was the chef.
  • He burned the burgers.
  • He burned the buns.
  • He burned his hand.
  • Tommy and Christie actually think they have a chance to get Nicole to flip her vote, keeping Jess and evicting Cliff.
  • That's not going to happen.
  • While Nicole has really sucked in comps and played so few veto comps at all, she's sitting rather pretty right now with Cliff, Jackson and Holly.
  • Plus, Nicole has been saying for weeks she wants to target Tommy and Christie.
  • Why would she abandon what she has and work with people who would turn on her immediately?
  • Unless people cave and "house vote" once again (gah), I see it as a tie this week. Holly/Nicole vote out Jess, Tommy/Christie vote out Cliff. Then Jackson breaks the tie, voting out Jess in his big power move.
  • Yes, "power move" is sarcastic.
  • As far as I'm concerned, the only successful "big move" HoH of the season was Jess putting up Jackson/Jack and getting Jack out.
  • Back to Nicole sitting pretty …
  • She has a way with people. Although friends seem to be slim pickings, she has had Cliff in her camp all along (although he'd dump her in a second to further his own game). She's had Nick who, in the after-interviews, honestly seems to care deeply about her (not romantically). Now she seems to have Jackson under that same spell. While he doesn't look on her as a romantic kind of thing, he's having this brother/sister kind of relationship. I do think he also cares deeply about her -- and, in a more lasting way than his relationship with Holly will ever be.
  • After panicking last week that they're heading for a double eviction, they seem to not be thinking about that for this week.
  • Heh.
  • I just hope BB waits until the actual live show Julie announcement to clue them in!
  • Other than Jackson and Holly's breaking up/making up a few days ago, there have been no kerfuffles and definitely no brouhahas.
  • Everyone is getting along all too well.
  • It's boring.
  • And, there ya go. You too have now been bored.
  • You're welcome.

She'd be long gone if not for him

Like, y'know, like, I'm like on the like, block

Power duo. One needs to go.

BB21: Live Feeds Power of Veto Meeting Update - Sept. 2

The live feeds were blocked for the veto ceremony and a whole lotta minutes around it. As you recall, Tommy won the Power of Veto.

Of course, Tommy saved Christie with the veto. As he and Cliff had previously discussed, Jackson put Cliff on the block as a pawn against Jess (his target)

This was Jess's reaction after the meeting -- right here.

In other news -- Holly and Jackson broke up. Then Holly and Jackson made up.

BB21: HoH Completion/Nominations Show Blog Party - Sept. 1

Tonight we get to see the completion of the "epic" HoH endurance comp which had its start (and, technically but not on the show, end) on Thursday evening. Then the new HoH will name the nominees of the week. Then we'll probably see a whole bunch of Diary Room clips each telling us how they HAVE to win PoV.

Since this is a show post and in real life the PoV comp is already history, I ask no spoilers that haven't been shown on the aired show.

I'll be live-blogging, updating this entry with the major events as they air here on the East Coast. Refresh this page to get the latest happenings! As always, the real party is in the comments section -- please feel free to join in on the fun!

Previously on ... like we just don't know, right?

Finally we open with the HoH comp going on. Nicole is tired of not winning. She wants to hold her weight in her group of four -- Cliff, Jackson and Holly. Ghosts are slamming into them, rain is coming down and they're getting slimed. Jackson would like to see either Nicole or Cliff win. He doesn't want Tommy to win. Christie is feeling confident and claims she doesn't need to win this HoH. Cliff doesn't think he can win, but would like Nicole to win.

Now they're getting gassed with ice flashes. It sucks to be them, huh?

Jess is out first and makes an epic fall and yell as she goes down. It did look painful. But very funny! Cliff is the second one down. We could have predicted that. Christie just gives up.

The comp is down to Nicole, Jackson and Tommy. And we're into commercial.

Jackson tells us if Tommy goes down, he'll go down and let Nicole take it. Unfortunately, Nicole slips and goes down, leaving Tommy and Jackson to duke it out for the win. Nicole is in tears in the DR -- she really thought she could win this one and wants to see her family.

Jackson tells Tommy he's good (if he falls). Christie is still feeling all kinds of confident -- she'd rather Tommy win, but feels Jackson won't target her. Tommy ends up going down. Tommy points out to us that Jackson can't play HOH next week and the deal doesn't include Christie.

JACKSON/MICHIE IS THE NEW HOH (again).

Jackson tells us he didn't want to win this HoH -- but didn't want Tommy to win it. He seems sincere about being in the alliance of four. Christie isn't so sure she's good with Jackson. Jackson is actually very consoling to Nicole. Nicole is upset that she contributes nothing to the group and feels she needs to "build her resume" in the game.

Jackson tells us he promised not to put Tommy up. He can't put up Holly, Nicole or Cliff. It only leaves Jess and Christie. Cliff thinks he himself would rather Tommy and Christie on the block.

Jess is feeling safe because Jackson is HoH. I say she's about as safe as she was in the wall comp just as she started to fall.

Jackson tells Christie he's putting her on the block with Jess. Jess would be his target. He tries to convince her it's a good move -- their deal to use her as a pawn will be done, Jess is a mental threat to his game and blah-blah-blah. Christie cries to us.

Christie cries more to us. Nicole and Christie have a teary talk in the dark bedroom. Nicole and Christie cry and, of course, Tommy is the one to offer them comfort. Christie cries about crying. The BB voice announces, "Big Brother loves you." Gag me with a spoon please.

Holly tells us she thinks it's smarter to get Christie out rather than Jess. I agree with her. But Jackson didn't ask me.

Cliff tells Holly and Jackson that if they need to put him up as a pawn if the veto is used. Jackson likes that idea.

Christie, the one who didn't think it important for her to win HoH and dropped just because, is upset that Tommy didn't win the comp. She's mad that he didn't include her in on the deal with Jackson for safety. After all, he's practically family! She thinks Jackson/Holly are working with Cliff./Nicole and tells Tommy that. He thinks it could be. (And it is.)

A segment on Cliff missing his wife and his love of dancing with her. And, the love he has for her. He would like to renew their wedding vows. Very sweet.

Jackson tells Jess he's terrified going up against her and Christie in upcoming memory comps. He loves her but there are two seats he has to fill. He starts talking numbers. He's skirting all around the core of his intent then blurts out that he probably will have to put up her and Christie. She's shocked.

Christie goes up to the HOH room to suck up to Jackson. She asks if Jess wins the veto, who will go up? He tells her Cliff. She wants to make sure she (Christie) has the votes to stay. Jackson would have to break a tie if it happens. He tells her he wants to work with her. She tells us she knows he wouldn't keep her over Cliff. She tells him she trusts him.

Time for the nominations ceremony. Jackson nominates Christie, then Jess. He tells them they have the greatest chance of beating, he loves them both and it's a game.

Tommy tells us he'll feel partially responsible if Christie leaves and he'll be along. Christie and Jess both say how they need to win veto.

BB21: Live Feeds Power of Veto Update - August 31

After a several hours long live feeds block for the Power of Veto comp, they returned. It was the Hide and Go Veto -- the one which has them tearing apart the house looking for the hidden vetoes.

The one I thought would want to win the least won -- Tommy.

I have to suppose he feels obligated to save Christie. In that case it would probably be Cliff on the block as a pawn and Jess going home.

Perhaps Jackson can convince Tommy that there's no way Christie is going anyway (his target IS Jess) and then something can go awry and send Christie packing! Wishful thinking.

The house isn't AS messy as some years.

BB21: Live Feeds into Saturday - August 31

Am I crazy for holding out hope on her?

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Froot Loops Doofuses:
  • I don't really have all that much to report.
  • As Jackson repeatedly said yesterday, he nominated Christie and Jess for eviction, with Jess being his target.
  • Of course, he didn't tell Jess that.
  • The nomination put Jess off into loops of crying jags and her "always the outsider" pouting.
  • It put Christie in the "manifesting her destiny" mode.
  • And, naturally, it gave Tommy the chance to go around being oh-so-concerned for everyone.
  • The only good thing about Jackson/Holly in power is that they do really seem to want to stick with the Cliff/Nicole final four.
  • One bad thing is that they're not intent on splitting up Tommy and Christie.
  • Amazing as it might seem, the Tommy/Christie pre-show known for years and years bit is still kept secret.
  • And, I consider it a very unfair advantage for them even though a few others slightly knew each other -- Kat/Holly for example.
  • Besides a mostly unlikable cast this season, we're seeing a move opposite of many past seasons -- they're SO into jury management. True, Paul probably should have won his seasons based on his game play, but the jury was turned off by the way he treated people. Now this crew is going the opposite direction. They're PANDERING to the jury -- especially Tommy.
  • Sigh.
  • Last night's live feeds weren't even jazzed up with a rare booze delivery, something we've seen very little of this season.
  • They played games.
  • The nominees fussed and cried, then tried to act all stoic about things.
  • The Power of Veto should be today.
  • It would be a hoot if Jess won it, wouldn't it?
  • Then we'd likely see Christie finally go home.
  • But, then again, Jess also does well at driving me a bit bonkers. I can listen to her ramble on for five or ten minutes and still not be sure what point she's trying to make.
  • I guess we'll see.

Always the outcast victim in her mind.

He can't be everyone's sympathetic friend forever.

BB21: Live Feeds into Friday - August 30

Jessica is fake smiling, for sure!
Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Problematic Possums:

  • If you caught my HoH comp updates post last night, you know who won.
  • Sigh.
  • In a way, it's not so horrible.
  • At least Christie didn't win.
  • It was quite a duel at the end between Nicole, Tommy and Jackson.
  • I was hoping they'd talk deal and Jackson would let Nicole have it.
  • But, apparently his ego won't allow that and Tommy wouldn't go away.
  • Nicole, along with Cliff, has joined Jackson and Holly in the latest final four deal in the house.
  • They all seem loyal about it -- or as loyal as this crew gets, that is.
  • So, whether either Nicole or Jackson won, both should feel safe this week.
  • But no ... Jackson didn't let Nicole win. She did great, but ended up dropping before him and now we have to suffer yet another week of Jackson and Holly canoodling in the HoH room.
  • Wah.
  • Had Nicole won, she would have targeted Tommy and Christie.
  • Cliff would have targeted Tommy and Christie.
  • I think both of them would target Christie leaving before Tommy. However, they both think of them as a power duo which needs splitting.
  • Who's Jackson's target this week?
  • Jess.
  • You heard me.
  • From what he's been saying, he plans on nominating Jess and Christie with Jess as the target.
  • He's scared the next comp will be memory and Jess will win.
  • I thought it was Christie who claimed to have the photographic and excellent whatever memory!
  • The good part of this all is that the only two I kind of like in the house -- Cliff and Nicole -- should be safe.
  • Cliff was foolish enough to offer to be a pawn, though.
  • He should know better than that.
  • Jackson has been better without Jack influencing him in the house.
  • He's also been better since BB apparently gave him a talking to about his behavior.
  • Nick even mentioned it last night in his interview with Julie. The hamsters know that Jackson was spoken to about things he said in the house.
  • I'm glad his behavior has improved.
  • But I still don't like him.
  • I'll let you know the nominations later. I'm not expecting any surprises.
  • I'm also not expecting much action in there today.

Manifest going away, please!

Needs to lose Christie if he wants to win.

I find his physique changes rather alarming.

BB21: Endurance HoH Comp Updates - August 29

Once the live feeds return, this post will be updated with the HoH endurance comp happenings!

10:01pm ET - Julie lied -- she said the second the show ends. Right now the feeds are still blocked with adoptable animals and the theme music.

10:04pm ET - Feeds are back, looks like all are still up.

10:06pm ET
10:14pm ET - all still up

10:18pm ET - Jess drops (on purpose)

10:22pm ET - Jackson needs to stop playing with his crotch. Thank you.

10:27pm ET - They talk about their pizza party they had and get the feeds blocked.

10:37pm ET - Cliff drops, followed by Christie.

It's now Nicole, Tommy and Jackson up. Nicole looks surprisingly kind of like a rock.

10:32pm ET - Nicoley down

10:43pm ET - Tommy down

JACKSON WINS HOH.

BB21: Live Eviction/HoH Comp Show Blog Party - Aug.29

So, here we are  … eviction night. Unless pranking has pushed past its limits, either Christie or Nick will go home tonight. Either way, the BB fan world will rejoice! I must say in all the years I've watched the show, I don't think I've seen any two nominees have less of a fan base than Christie and Nick. If show fans had their druthers, both would be sent packing!

For those of you in the blog pool, Lifeguard SueGee has updated the pool at THIS HERE LINK. Our apologies if you have Nick or Christie. It's a cold, cruel world.

I'll be live-blogging the major events as the show airs here on the East Coast. Since I'll be constantly updating it, refresh this page to get the latest happenings! As always, the real party is in the comments -- please feel free to join in on the fun!

In the NYC area the show is airing on WLNY 10/55 due to football on WCBS2

Julie changed it up again this week -- no fluffy hair, it's drawn back and dressed simply in black. I'm sitting through the "previously on" segment. Yawn.

Argh. Endurance comp begins tonight. I'll have to set up a post for after this one.

The veto meeting has now ended. Holly still wants Nick out. Christie is fairly confident going up against Nick. Nick feels confident against Christie. Nicole thinks Nick is loyal, trustworthy, an ally and a shield. Tommy tells Christie had he had the chance he would have taken her off. He thinks Christie will stay this week and is his only ally to the end.

Jess thinks Nick is a snake and wants Christie to stay. She sees herself as a third with any of the couples in the game. Christie would like a final three with Tommy and Jess.

We're into the pie pranks now -- funnier to watch than to write about. So, use your imagination. Nicole is on a vendetta against Jackson. Jackson is striking back and trying to get her first. I don't see him cleaning up the mess.

Back to Nick not wanting to leave this week. He thinks he has Nicole, Cliff and now Tommy. Tommy tells him he made a promise to Christie -- he wants Nick here, but gave his word. Nick is angry. Where is Tommy's loyalty?!?! Unless he thinks of a scheme to stay, he thinks he'll go this week.

He goes to Nicole to fuss about Tommy. Nicole is also upset that Tommy wants to keep Christie. She thinks something is up with Tommy and Christie, something more than just a duo in the game. Since she's working with Holly and Jackson, she decides to approach them about Nick. Holly tells her that either of them going would be a big threat gone. Nicole is ALMOST coming up with that Christie and Tommy know each other. She tells us she planted the seed, it's up to Nick to convince Holly and Jackson.

Oh … we're to get a jury house segment tonight!

Now they have clowns in the mirrors, evil ones. It's similar to stunts BB has pulled in the past. I'm always surprised about the freak out with these things. They acted that way on the live feeds, so it's not BB taking several takes. Add clowns to birds as ways to scare Nicole.

Nick is campaigning to Holly and Jackson. Jackson is the only one who can vote. He tells them he could be their protection, he wouldn't put them up and he'd take them off if he can. He promises his word is his word. He tells them that Christie and Jess would target them. Jackson tells us that it seems like Nick is offering more than Christie did.

Jury segment time! Jack claims he didn't play the game that well, ran his mouth a bit too much. Ya think? Kat arrives. All is friendly. He gets to see the field trip bit. They're getting along well. Then Analyse arrives! Jack is thrilled to have his sex kitten back.

These live shows have more taped bits than actual live show these days. I remember when all except maybe ten minutes was actually live show. We'd get maybe a jury segment or home visit, not a bunch of clips.!

To the living room finally --
Christie -- five life principles, at least she's doing her best, not perfect, playing a game she loves, wants to stay, Nick playing an amazing game.
Nick -- If you have mental health issues seek help, loves and misses Sam, shout-outs, thank you America for Prankster, Michie is my dog

The votes to evict:
Jackson -- Nick
Tommy -- Nick
Nicole -- Nick
Jess -- Nick
Cliff -- Nick

Once again, the few who would have kept Nick buckled and votes with the house. I hate that.

Okay, the start of the HoH comp -- I have a post scheduled to appear to follow it after the show.

Prank Week is over but the scares are just beginning. It's the BB Haunted House, they have to Hold On Fright, fall off and they're off. It's a wall comp. Creepy music is playing and a storm is moving in.

Double eviction next week!

All are still in there as the show ends. Ghosts are now flying at them and slamming into them. Join me on the follow up post for updates!.

BB21: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - August 28

Tonight we get to endure the return of the ZingBot. I say endure because it's not really a favorite of mine. Although they often deserve the "zings" I find it quite mean-hearted. Plus, due to the whacko voice used, I often have trouble deciphering what it's saying. Oh, well. We should also have some more pranks going on.

I'll be live-blogging and updating this entry with the major events as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get in on the latest happenings! As always, the real party is in the comments area. Please feel free to join in on the fun!

Previously on is telling us all about previously seen stuff. Amazing, indeed.

Nick tells us that sitting next to Christie is his best chance of staying this week (other than winning veto). And, we're to the show intro and bigger and better things. Or, so we hope.

The nominations ceremony ends. Holly or her people think they need to win to keep the noms the same as some of them might be in trouble. Christie is assuming the Prankster is Nick. She's right. She thinks she can win the veto and bounce back, surviving again this week. I hope not!

Jackson tells Holly he wants to play for veto -- he'd keep the noms the same. Tommy tells Holly that he thought Christie won Prankster until the nominations came down. They have him worried that he might go up if the veto is used to save Christie.

Nick and Christie have an amicable talk about the nominations. She "reads energy" and doesn't believe anything he's selling, as she shouldn't. He doesn't want her to know he's the Prankster although she tells us she's sure he is.

Prankster pie clips -- everyone gets pies! Even Nick in the Diary Room. Nicole thinks of the pies as retaliation for wrongs done in the house.

Time to pick veto players. Holly gets a fist of goo reaching in to select a chip. She got Houseguest Choice and chose Jackson. Nick got Cliff. (Cliff tells us he wouldn't use it.) Christie got Jessica.

Christie tells Jackson/Holly that Nick is a swindler and she doesn't want him to get in anyone's heads. She thinks she can do a deal with them. Christie thinks her deal with them to be a pawn is gone because she's on the block. But, as they point out to us, they didn't nominate her. Of course, I'm hoping she goes this week and the pawn bit would be moot anyway.

ZingBot arrives. Much ado. Nicole is thrilled. ZB calls them the biggest group of losers ever. Tommy -- singing and dancing reminds of Little Shop of Attention Whores. Nicole -- Afraid of birds, but lived with old buzzard all season named Holly. Christie -- loud on Taco Tuesday, not the fighting but your chewing. Has something for one of them -- Nick -- Open present, time for a new haircut! Nicole -- tough for you with no friends, no boyfriends … you must feel right at home. One hg this summer who's very voluptuous and quite busty -- pleased to meet you, Cliff. Jess -- the game you're playing this summer, fans planning convention called SnoozeFest. Jackson -- Hello, what should I call you? Michie? Jackson? Or Pompous DoucheBag?

The scandals and fake news pushed ZB out of office. On the run, hiding in BB house and they'll never find him. Guards come in to arrest him.

They go around the house and find ZB locked up. He's expecting them to help him escape. They "knock out cameras" by moving balls in a vertical table maze. with guiding ropes comp. The comp is Free the Zing.

JACKSON wins the Power of Veto! His only real competition in the comp was Nick. Nick is not a happy camper. Christie thinks she might have a chance to stay as long as Nick remains on the block.

Jackson visits Nick in the boat room. Nick tells him that you can only really tell loyalty when you're not looking. He told Jackson he wouldn't have gone on the block. Hinting around that he's the Prankster and telling us that he thinks telling him might keep him safe. It might be his only shot.

So, Jackson runs to Holly and tells her that Nick is the Prankster. He tells her not to tell anyone. Holly really wants Nick out. Christie comes in and Jackson tells her he's not using the veto because they don't know who would go up. He tells her that she won't be going home anyway. She isn't salty about it -- she thinks she has a good chance of staying.

Then Nick tells Tommy to show him that he could have put him up and wants the favor returned. Tommy is not really committing, says it's still early.

Veto meeting time  … and PIES! Three pies to the face of the veto winner! Good.

Jackson does NOT use the veto. The nominations remain Christie and Nick. Either going would be fine with me. I don't like either one of them.
