Good evening! I hope those blog readers in Florida have made it through the hurricane okay!
Tonight is the Veto comp episode. We have Jag and Blue on the block. Will someone win the veto and actually use it to save one of the nominees? Ohh ... the suspense! (Well, if you don't follow the live feeds, there is suspense!)
I will be live blogging the show as it airs here on the East Coast. I'll be updating regularly -- please refresh the page to get the latest updates. As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!
Once again I will sit through the "Previously on" segment. I mean, how many times can we see Hisam evicted?
Hints that Jared may spill his big secret as well as a duo round-up and mistrust of Izzy. We pick up the action as the Nominations Ceremony ends. Cameron tells us that he has a plan if the veto is used. Would that be Izzy? Cirie is thinking Cam is staying in with the fake alliance they set up.
Blue is teary speaking to Jared about being on the block ... especially with Jag. Cory tells America that he has a secret. The fact that his brother was on Survivor and voted out in 17th place. Heh. America decides to tell him her secret ... Brown University, biology. Cory decides he wants to go deep into the game with her.
Red and Cameron talk about (the fake) Legend 25 Alliance. Cameron thinks that he and Red are the low ones on the power totem pole. Again, Izzy is the target of their conversation. Cameron tells Red that Izzy is his backdoor option. Cam doesn't like the trio of Cirie, Felicia and especially Izzy.
Jag's chicken costume punishment is over. He takes the costume off in the backyard in a fun chicken strip show.
To Jared and Blue now. (Ew.) He tells US that he wants to give Blue a half-truth to test her trust. He tells her ... what if I'm related to Mama Felicia? He refuses to promise or pinky-swear. She tells us that someone might be related. She thinks it's more likely that it could be Cirie. He has dropped many clues, even his mother has been on Survivor four times.
Cameron tells Matt that he's his boy and he will never leave him behind. He wants to test Matt's level of trust. He talks of three people being very tight and "we're" expendable. Cam tells Matt not to tell about his proposed new alliance. Matt runs to Cirie about Cam's new alliance plans. Matt really wants to work with Cirie.
Cory and America's flirtmance continues. They went under the covers and Izzy thinks they should throw condoms at them. But the condoms have are missing. They know someone must have used them! Jared ...? Blue ...?
Time to pick the Veto players! Cameron draws Houseguest Choice and goes for Red. Blue draws Jared. Jag draws Mecole. Mecole tells us she wants both of them to stay on the block. Cirie doesn't want Jared to use the veto if he wins because she thinks one of them will go on the block.
Time for the veto comp! It's all set up as the Temple of Power. It's a ComicVerse comp. Ancient riddle, balance artifacts on the pillars to match the artifact weights to reveal letters and unscramble the letters revealed to solve the riddle. Fastest time wins.
Blue is up first. She gets the word Golden and is happy with her time. Cameron up next. He tells us he doesn't want to win due to increased target; he wants Red to win. Mecole next. The letters kept falling off the wall costing her time. Jared next. He has trouble coming up with the word "golden." Red next. He goes through it quickly. Jag is up. He went through with one hiccup on the artifact weighing bit.
The results: Top Three times -- 3. 3:18 Cam, 2. 2:41 Jag, 1. 2:20 Red.
RED wins the Power of Veto!
Blue and Jag are both sad. They decide they each have to advocate for themselves. Blue is teary-eyed in the Diary Room and thinks highly of Jag. They hug.
Meanwhile, Cam and Red are celebrating in the HOH room. Cam thinks they can keep the noms the same or take one down to shake up the house. Cam tells Red putting up Izzy would be "one hell of a move."
Time for the veto meeting. Red doesn't use the veto. Jag and Blue remain on the block. We get the obligatory Diary Room bits from Jag and Blue. Jag will unleash the Turbinator. Cam thinks not using it keeps them in the favor of their larger alliance.
We get a teaser for the Super Power to be revealed tomorrow on the live show.

Hi Jackie and Everyone I am under a Tropical storm Warning. I am also under a Tornado Warning, I have a leak over my Dining room table. drops were hitting my table so put a Plastic Bowl on table to catch the leak
I hope all goes okay, Glenn!
Hi to all who come through these doors!
Hi Glenn, I was thinking about you earlier. I hope you're passed the worst of it.
Hey Jackie and all who follow
Thanks Jackie and Monty!
Everyone else in Idalia's path, stay safe!

Lurking in the deep emd.

Hi Glen, Jackie, Monty, Cheryl, Petals and all who follow
Hi Jackie. Thank you so much for your blogs.
Hi Glenn, Monty Cheryl, and Petals.
After reading your blogs, Jackie, Jared seems like a true jerk!
Hey Petals, Cheryl and Michelle
Hi Cheryl and Penny and Michelle!
Hi Michelle.
Hey Penny
Helloooooo everyone!
I like America having a brain
Petals, thanks for the PlutoTV info. The app only took seconds to get. I haven’t watched much feeds. I think I like reading Jackie’s blog and everyone’s comments better than the feeds. It was mostly blocked and loud music.
I hope that Jag stays and Blue leaves tomorrow.
Thanks Cheryl. Are you getting anything from the Tropical Storm!
Michelle - the skippy (the guy who blocks the feeds) music is extremely loud this season. But today he wasn't nearly as trigger-happy.
Stay safe Glenn. And, everyone else in the line of the storm. Just stay safe.
I thought you had to pay for the feeds until you told me about Pluto.
Hi Nickelpeed
The adoptable animals music is a whole lot louder than the regular feeds block music. At night I listen with headphones and my ears get blasted when it goes from whispers to music!
Jumping in to say Hi everyone!
Glad to hear you're ok (so far) Glenn. :)
LOL Blue didn't care at all.
Loose lips sink ships.
He's so dumb
yeah, lost 4 times Blue
Jared and Blue deserve each other
there aren't that many peep in the house...who ISN"T in Legends?
I’m getting a greater appreciation for the feed watchers. The music is so load.
poor Matt. Bless his lil heart (yeah, I said it)
Michelle, the feeds have actually been really good this season. Yesterday's feeds blockage was sort of out of the ordinary. This is the first year they've done the feeds through Pluto as well as Paramount+
Michelle - it's just VERY loud this year. If you're listening to a whisper conversation and Skippy hits the button, it can blow out your ears.
Hey! I see a commercial for Felicia's brother's new movie!
Hi all that follows
...cherry pie here...yes I enjoy Jackie's recaps more then the live feeds..c ya later
I see they released the Amazing Race team list today. I will probably post about it over the weekend. October is going to be ridiculous with all three shows going.
Hi sharon Thanks! Hi cherry Pie
If only Cirie knew. Oh my, too funny about the condoms!!
Hi folks.
Hi Joe
Thanks Jackie about the Amazing Race info.
Hey Hon
LOL @ Jackie
Hey Joe
Wonder where Jon is??
Please someone send her home
I can't even with her..ughh
Hi Petals
Hi Cheryl
Hi Monty
Hi Jackie
She can't go home soon enough for me and I have her in the pool
Who misspells GOLDEN???
Thanks Penny. Jared having trouble spelling Golden lol.
I'm tellin' ya... if Jared's brain was in a buzzard, it would fly backwards. lol
Is it possible that Jared is dyslexic. Because none of those letter combinations mad any sense, and I don’t think he wants his condom compatriot to go home.
Brent he never read the riddle and he was just throwing the letters up there any old way
I believe Jon is in Maryland -- is that getting hit by the storm?
Not reading the riddle could also go with dyslexia. Doesn't want anyone to know he has issues... whether it's dyslexia or can't read period.
Once he read the riddle he immediately got it. It was probably stress pressure more than anything else.
Hi Sharon and Cherry pie.
Red is smarter than we though.
Dongle, okay. But some of those words just weren't words.
Not sure Jackie. They are sure to get some of the rain though I would think.
My cousin will be visiting in Nov. for two weeks. She’s not a fan of BB, Survivor or Amazing Race. Ha, it’s gonna suck to be her.
Why are they not showing all the times....hmmm
Now, who's going to go home? I'd like to see JAG stay.
I hope BB doesn't throw a monkey wrench tomorrow night.
Why did they only show the Top Three Times in the comp?
Cameron misspelled it first @@
Who knows, Glenn. They did that week one too.
Lol@ michelle
Well if Blue goes, the condoms will appear. LOL.
Thank you, Jackie. Really appreciate it.
See everyone tomorrow night.
Glenn and all others in the storm's path, please take care of yourselves.
Thanks Jackie
See you all tomorrow night. Glenn and Cheryl stay safe in the path of Idalia
Thanks Jackie. Stay safe on the east coast.
Thank you Jackie!
See everyone tomorrow night. :)
Thank you for coming by!
Glenn stay safe .Hopefully no flooding for y'all like last year.
Thanks Jackie as always and goodnight all until tomorrow
Thanks again Cheryl and Penny and Michelle!
Safe to say that Jared doesn't play Wordle. Exactly none of those "words" before GOLDEN was a word. Woof.
I hope Matt won the power. He probably doesn't need it this week, but maybe next week.
I can't wait until Jackie's post tomorrow. I didn't watch feeds today but I keep seeing clips of 1 million kerfuffles! Cirie is blaming the full moon!
