BB21: Live Feeds - Nominations Bulletin - August 23

The suspense is over. Of course, the live feeds were blocked for the nominations ceremony so we don't know exactly how what went down went down.

Holly nominated Nick.
Nick nominated Christie.

So, the universe is as it should be.

Well, until BB ruins our bliss again.

BB21: Prankster Revealed Bulletin - August 23

No, no, no … it's technically still a secret. Well, from at least the houseguests, it is. However, the winner of the Prankster America's Vote did take a moment alone to look up at a camera and thank us, saying he really needs it. I think we know what he'll do with it ...

NICK got the votes in to make it as the Prankster.

Hey, Christie … ready to be on the block again?

BB21: Live Feeds into Friday - August 23

Holly gets overly excited reading HoH letter

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother house of Pied Puppets:

  • The voting is over. So it is whatever it will be.
  • I have no inside information. But, from my understanding, it will be secret. It will NOT be a third nomination. It would seem to me that they might inform Holly before her nominations that she's going to technically just have one nomination, not two. Otherwise a pawn could end up being her sole nominee. But I don't know. But it's not like one of those co-HoH deals because it's "secret." It appears that the person chosen by America has no safety from being put on the block.
  • Who knows? I almost could bet production is making up the rules as they go along and THEY don't have this all figured out yet!
  • Looking more into it, the prankster STEALS one of her nominations away. So, Holly makes both of her planned normal nominations. Apparently the prankster must have set-up scenarios with production to take a certain person down and put another up. As long as the prankster has a brain (well, Analyse is gone), they should cover the scenario to remove themselves from the block. Hmm.
  • Since the pranking will probably be revealed right at nominations, the prankster would need to know who's on the block so he/she knows who to remove. I can't see that being kept as secret, so I'm thinking scenarios ahead of time and choices made before nominations come down.
  • In other news, the punishment for Jess and Nicole/Cliff (tied for second lowest HoH comp score) is: When signaled they have to make pies, then throw said pies in the face(s) of the houseguests announced by the BB voice.
  • Their first round had them putting the pies in their own faces.
  • Old school prank, but a pie in the face is a rather classic prank.
  • At this point, Holly is considering putting up Christie and Nick, but has made no concrete decisions.
  • She has no clue that only one nomination she makes will make it to the key box.
  • Holly is very upset because she heard the audience gasp when she voted for Analyse to be evicted last night.
  • I did not gasp here at home as I knew what was coming from the live feeds.
  • Apparently, even with all the clips Julie showed and the doubt she cast on Christie going, the live audience for the show thought the Christie Eviction Party was still in effect.
  • I watched the extended Julie/Analyse exit interview. No real content there -- hey, it's Analyse. But the goodbye messages rather irked me -- they were all jury vote suck up ones.
  • The goodbye messages have mostly been such since Jack went out.
  • To me, Tommy's messages are almost gag-inducing. He does play up on that I love you all bit. It could just possibly win him the game.
  • Looking at the numbers left in the house and the date of the finale, I'm wondering if this whole week might be a prank, a reset, a no eviction week ... the ultimate prank. I fear on eviction night it just might be announced that the whole week was a prank on everyone and no one is leaving.
  • I hope I'm wrong.
  • But the show has always gone for ratings on double evictions and unless something happens, there will be none this season.
  • Hmm.
  • The nominations, both Holly's and the mysterious secret America's Vote person will come through later today. I'll let you know when I know.

Definitely floating through from side to side

My spirit guides tell me she's a target again

It would be a hoot if he gets nominated

Go put a shirt on. You're not that pretty.

That's a pie in your face!

BB21: Live Eviction and HoH Comp Show Blog Party - Aug. 22

Here we are at the anxiously awaited live eviction show. Tonight it will be either Christie or Analyse going home. Hopefully, time permitting. we'll have a new HoH by the time the live show ends. I haven't seen any different news on that this week although they seem to like to drag it as filler for the Sunday show.

I'm thinking next week might be the double eviction. But don't quote me on that. I just think it's about that time.

Lifeguard SueGee has updated the blog pool and you can find the latest standings at THIS POST LINKED RIGHT HERE.

I'll be live-blogging the major events as the show airs here on the East Coast. Since I'll constantly be updating this post, you'll need to refresh the page to get the latest news. As always, the real party is in the comments area -- please feel free to join in on the fun!

Julie never looks right in fluffy tops. Sitting through "previously on." Ah, they will be showing part of the Taco Tuesday brouhaha from er, well … Tuesday.

Julie tells us the votes have continued to flip. Uh-oh. A brand new twist Prank Week will change the new HoH power. Hmm.

But first … time for Christie to manifest a miracle. Christie thinks Nick struck a deal with Jackson and was responsible for her being on the block. When he talked to Christie, Nick denied making any deals with Jackson. Christie tells Tommy she's going to fight. She tells us that she needs to make Nick Public Enemy Number One and really seems to be blaming him for her current predicament.

Christie goes to talk to Jackson and tells him she has a campaign against Nick. He's a swindler and plays everyone. Jackson tells her it's her best chance is to blow up Nick's game. He suggests it be done on Taco Tuesday. She feels she has nothing to lose. She tells Tommy, Jess and Nicole. "It can't go wrong."

Meanwhile Nick has gotten wind of what she's planning. He talks to Jackson. Jackson is encouraging Nick to blow up Christie's game. He's quite pleased with himself -- he thinks it takes him out of the target spotlight.

Nick goes to call her out. We get Taco Tuesday as promised. Appropriate music and all. Suspenseful music as Nick confronts Christie. She accuses him of being dramatic. He says he's always been honest. "Manifest the truth, bro!" he tells her. She says he's protected people and thrown comps. She claims he's manipulative. He starts clapping his hands and getting way overly excited. She says no one is coming after him and he knows it. She says she's valuable because she's the biggest target and she's willing to take a shot at him. Rats. They made Taco Tuesday so brief. It lasted about 40 minutes and got really crazy on the feeds.

Now Holly is thinking to Jackson that it would be better to get Sis out and use Christie. Now it's a quandary … keep Christie to get rid of Nick later or not?

To the live vote, living room.

Analyse -- Amazing summer, athlete, would like to stay, loyal game, stayed true to who she is, all decisions she made to further her own game, Christie best friend in house, love all.
Christie -- Shout outs, HG made this most memorizing, speaks highly of Analyse, loves game, fighter, all I have is my word, keep deals, truth and authenticity, you trust me, I trust you. Longevity.

The votes to evict:
Jess -- Analyse
Nick -- Christie
Tommy -- Analyse
Holly -- Analyse
Nicole -- Analyse
Cliff -- Analyse

I guess the truth has been manifested, bro.

Julie tells them the results (although it's no surprise to any at this time), Analyse nods her head at 5 to 1. She tells Julie it was the blow up between Nick and Christie that got her out because she would have worked with Nick. She feels betrayed by Jackson. She's just confused by everything. (Well, duh.) What about Jack? In the extended interview, as well as goodbye messages.

Last night the hamsters had a bird watching/bird calls video playing and they think it's part of the HoH comp. So, they study it. Nicole, who's scared of birds, is upset that there are so many birds this summer. The bird noises go on through the night.

They go to the backyard to start off Prank Week. Julie tells them all the studying was for nothing and that it kicks off a new twist for Prank Week. They're all in voting booths set up. It's a skill game, they turn around and make it to the circle markers behind them.

Really time for the comp now. Julie tells them this week America will vote to prank whoever becomes HoH. The HoH will be safe, but duties affected. Prank Shot. Roll ball down slot, where ball lands is score. Longer is higher. Two lowest scores will have a punishment fit for prank week.

Holly up first -- 50, highest score possible
Cliff - 18
Nick - 34
Nicole - 18
Christie - 21
Jess - 3
Tommy - 41

HOLLY wins HoH! Hmm … there's a two-way tie for second worst score. Will three get punishments? I guess we'll find out!

Yes, three get them -- Jess, Nicole, Cliff … will find out the punishment later.

Julie tells us we can prank Holly by giving another HG half her power. Heh. We ought to vote Nick. We get to pick one nominee and if our nominee is taken down, we name the renom.

ZingBot returns this week.

BB21: Live Feeds into Thursday - August 22

Get some game, Nicole! You need to do so!

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother house of Disappointing Dolts:
  • Just when I was thinking Jackson has good game skillz, he blows it.
  • This is going to be short.
  • But not sweet.
  • However, you feed followers need to know.
  • Christie, with much assistance from Holly (who doesn't like Analyse at all), seems to have managed to flip the vote.
  • Analyse should end up blindsided tonight even though Jackson assured her, promised her, that she was a pawn and wouldn't go home. Even though Jackson has had his target set on Christie for weeks.
  • It's all over.
  • Christie went around promising everybody everything on Earth to stay in the game.
  • Was it her spirit guides? Or did she manifest this change of plans?
  • Actually, I don't think production had anything or much at all if anything, to do with it.
  • Y'see, Holly is still at a loss since Kat left and she is persuasive both when it comes to Jackson and other folks. She does NOT like Analyse and, for some odd reason, thinks they can work with Christie better down the line.
  • So, a piece of furniture will end up going home.
  • Perhaps Jackson will come to his senses.
  • But what good would it do at this point?
  • He has no vote and there wouldn't be time to re-change the vote of the others who were convinced by Holly and Christie.
  • Argh.
  • Tommy is not happy.
  • Jackie is not happy.

I cannot identify with them.

Always going with the flow ...

A summer at home would be more relaxing

She manifested this!

Tommy is not liking the flip

BB21: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - August 21

Christie and Analyse are on the block. Do we want those nominations changed? Perhaps Christie might manifest her way to a win? Ya never know. (Well, we do know but those are spoilers not to be in the comments of this show post, thank you very much).

I'll be live blogging the major events and updating this post as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area -- please feel free to join in on the fun!

Let's get through the Previously On ... I did notice that the narrator called "Michie" Jackson at one point.

We pick up at the end of the nominations ceremony. Christie knows she's the target, but the universe will have her win the veto. Analyse is out of the chicken suit, but upset to be on the block.

The nominees bond more while talking about how fake everyone else is. Analyse wants Tommy to win the veto. She thinks that whoever she's sitting next to will go home because she's so well-liked by all. Cough.

Tommy wants Christie to win the veto, but he needs to think of himself. He gets along well with Jackson/Holly, unlike Christie. Jackson and Tommy talk -- they have been loyal. Jackson tells us he loves Tommy but if Sis comes down, the only way to ensure Christie going home would be to put up Tommy.

Christie had the epiphany that Nick must be working with Holly and Jackson. She thinks he's manipulating others. Analyse wants Christie to come off the block since she's her number one ally in the game. Of course, she thinks she herself is so well liked that she'll stay no matter who is next to her on the block. @@ Christie tells Nick that she wants for him to be honest -- if they get him for veto, will he save one of them. He tells her he would save Analyse. Now, that sets off Christie because she knows she's the target.

Time to pick players for the veto comp! Jackson randomly draws Cliff. Christie gets Nick. (Heh.) Analyse gets Holly.

Christie is increasing her distrust of Nick. She is sure he's working with Jackson. And, of course, he already told her he'd save Analyse. Tommy is bewildered where the distrust of Nick started. Nick is angry that he's been "nothing but transparent" in the game and people he trusts don't trust him. He talks to Christie and voices that while she's saying she trusts him but is getting concerned that he's working with Jackson.

Christie cries to Tommy about it. He tells her to be strong. Because it's hard to do thought bubbles, the show gives us funny subtitles. Tommy is her hero.

Veto comp time! The backyard is a seascape. Nicole is reminded of The Little Mermaid. BB Scuba Camp. Must put the sea life back in balance. Take the ten ocean creatures back one at a time, hanging them off the ground on a mobile contraption. First one with all wins. Coral Greef. It's a bit of a physical puzzle.

JACKSON wins the PoV!

Christie cries to us. Wah.

Jackson is thrilled that he can keep the noms the same and Christie will go home.

We're into a fluff segment. Then into Christie crying because Tommy and Holly were playing "Bay Watch" while she's suffering. How dare he have fun … and with HOLLY. How dare he. More tears. He goes in to apologize to her. He tells us he can't waste his dream because she's ruining hers.

She tells us, through tears, that the only things that might save her are the powers of manifestation or her words. But she does note her words got her there in the first place.

Christie tells Jackson and Holly she loves both of them. She thinks she's going home but offers them two weeks of protection and rejoin up with them to an extent. She thinks America would love the "comeback story."

No. We wouldn't like it. I think I can honestly speak for America in this case.

So, she cries more. And begs more. Jackson tells her she's his biggest threat when it comes to the win. Nothing she can say or do can mend the damage she's done to him.

Time for the veto meeting. Jackson does NOT use the veto. Both Christie and Analyse remain on the block. He tells them he picked them for a reason and must follow through with it.

BB21: Live Feeds into Wednesday - August 21

It's a brouhaha! Jess & Cliff reactions

Here's the latest from inside than Big Brother House of Taco Tuesday Throwdown:
  • Finally we have a brouhaha! It went past the kerfuffle stage.
  • No fisticuffs, though.
  • Y'see, Christie has been saying she wanted to "expose" Nick's game to all and she wanted to do it during their Taco Tuesday dinner gathering.
  • But then she had second thoughts. Holly was working hard to prepare the meal, Christie wanted to talk to everyone on Wednesday, campaigning for votes. She just didn't think the dinner was the time to do it.
  • Then comes Jackson.
  • Christie had been telling Jackson of her plans to blow up Nick's game.
  • Jackson told Nick.
  • And, then he actually egged Nick on when it looked like Christie was backing out of a brouhaha.
  • It worked.
  • As Holly worked on making the dinner, Nick started yelling for Christie to go ahead and blow up his game as she planned.
  • She really did try to resist, but finally went for it.
  • Mind you, I believe all of her animosity towards Nick is that she thinks he should be on the block instead of her. That's my opinion, anyway.
  • Picture the scene -- Holly working by the oven, most of the others peacefully sitting there awaiting Taco Tuesday and their Kumbaya-esque traditional "Gratitude Circle."
  • Then a shot rang out! The maid screamed! And the brouhaha was ON!
  • Okay, there was no gunshots; there isn't a maid, but ...!
  • Nick stood by the refrigerator while Christie was seated at the table.
  • Nick went absolutely berserk! Screaming, clapping his hands, jumping up and down.
  • Amazingly, Christie, albeit excitable, was the calmer of the two. Who woulda thunk it?
  • Both brought up stuff from the beginning of the game.
  • Nick went on about her lies. She went on about his lies. He denied ever lying in the game.
  • She went on about him saying that everybody likes him and it's not his fault that they do.
  • She kept saying how great of a game he was playing. But, for some reason, her repeatedly saying it didn't make it seem like any kind of compliment. She was more going for how manipulative he is.
  • He screamed more. Clapped his hands more and was really out of control.
  • I loved it. You know how I like a good brouhaha!
  • Best live feeds of the summer so far! Woot!
  • The sideshow of the reactions of the others was as good as the fighting two.
  • Jess's facial reactions came across to me as scary -- kind of like "Don't make ME get into this, I'll END it!'
  • Cliff looked like he was looking for popcorn to watch.
  • Jackson was trying to keep from laughing aloud as he sipped coffee.
  • Tommy looked like he wanted to disappear and probably was praying his name wouldn't be brought up by either of them.
  • Analyse tried to be invisible and, when Christie tried to get her involved, she said, "Don't bring me into this!"
  • Holly kept working by the oven.
  • Nicole looked visibly upset at the chaos. Her reaction, seeing as she claims to be a superfan, was a bit revealing. She seemed to think things like this don't happen.
  • In the end, nothing was really resolved nor were any secrets exposed that weren't already known.
  • At the end, it was Nick who stormed off, went to the bedroom, climbed in bed and cried. Analyse, then Tommy, went in to check on him.
  • Right after the brouhaha, Christie stayed around in the kitchen apologizing to the others and telling Holly she felt so bad because she (Holly) worked so hard to make the dinner.
  • Holly, with the best line of the night, said: "That's okay. We got dinner and a show."
  • Later Nicole talked to Tommy, telling her how much it upset her. To me, it looked like they were upset about the fight for two different reasons. Nicole seemed to cringe away from it more because the anger seriously bothered her. Tommy looked more like a kid whose parents were fighting -- he just didn't want to be in the middle of it.
  • Nicole was upset because it looked like Jackson was enjoying it.
  • Well, he was ... he actually instigated it!
  • And, naturally, all the serious BB fans on the internet were loving it. We all love a truly well done brouhaha! We're horrible people, I guess.
  • A few did end up eating the tacos.
  • Christie did end up crying.
  • Analyse once again panicked thinking now she'll be voted out instead of Christie. Nah, Christie will be going.
  • There was no gratitude circle.
  • Oh. And Nick drank out of a gallon jug in the middle of the brouhaha. If I were there, I don't think I'd drink anything already opened in the refrigerator.
  • The rest of the night was uneventful for the most part.

Tommy wants to hide

Nicole is very uncomfortable

And then Nick cried

BB21: Live Feeds into Tuesday Evening - August 20

Cliff clutches Orwell for BBAD air time

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Bored Badgers:
  • Nothing too interesting has really gone down since the PoV meeting yesterday.
  • Well, one thing did. But we don't really know that much about it for sure.
  • Last night there may have been audio sent into the backyard blowing up the Christie/Tommy connection.
  • Or, there may not.
  • Whatever happened took the feeds to fish and delayed the start of BBAD.
  • And, they're not allowed to talk about it.
  • Only a few of them were in the backyard when it happened.
  • Jackson and Cliff were there.
  • But anytime anyone asks, we go to fish or switch cameras.
  • Cliff brought it up in his Cliff Notes this morning referring to it as an "unsettling" event, not important enough to go into detail, won't change anything anyhow.
  • Hmm.
  • If it was an attempt to blow up the Christie and Tommy connection, it should have been done weeks ago.
  • It's not like Christie won't be voted out this week and it would just hurt Tommy's game which would be his own after she's out.
  • Oh, well.
  • In other news, Christie and Analyse are both still begging for powers, buttons, whatever.
  • Analyse has been told time and time again that she's safe, yet she persists.
  • Christie wants to blow up Nick's game, perhaps at dinner this evening unless she chickens out. She talked to Jackson about it.
  • Of course, just about all of them know Nick's game so it would just be drama for the sake of drama.
  • Nicole is the one most blinded by Nick. She needs to not think he's so cool. Because he ain't.
  • Nick really should be talked to by the DR for his touchy feely humpy sort of ways. The show's edit made the TV viewers think Tommy has a thing for him. He doesn't. And, Nick's behavior is extremely inappropriate.
  • Plus he's all over the girls, too.
  • EW.
  • Not too much going on -- tonight they're finding stuff to do their own personal arts and crafts. Tomorrow Christie plans on campaigning to everyone.
  • And that's that.
  • She's gonna go out the door anyway.
  • Oh … the backyard was shut down due to the whatever it was last night and Cliff said they told him they won't get it back until next week.

BB21: Live Feeds PoV Meeting Bulletin - August 19

Since Jackson made the nominations on Friday, Analyse and Christie have been begging, scheming, crying trying to convince him to take one of them down. Of course, each want off -- they're not trying to get each other off the block. They begged America. We guffawed. They begged production. They chuckled.

The PoV meeting was held today. Jackson did NOT use the Power of Veto.

Christie and Analyse remain on the block. And although it remains to be seen, it should be Christie going to the jury house this week.

BB21: HoH Completion, Nominations Show Blog Party - Aug. 18

Tonight should be a fun-filled show -- we get to watch the comedy of the Slip and Slide HoH competition play out. And, then there's the nominations. Since this is a show post, I ask that there are no spoilers before things air on the show itself. Such comments will be removed. Please stick to the live feeds posts with spoilers.

I'll be live-blogging the major events and updating this post as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments section. I hope to see you there!

I believe there's an under ten minute delay in the start of the show. I turned on 60 Minutes at 7:09pm here and it was just starting.

8:08pm ET and we're into Previously On ...

We'll see how Jess caused chaos the night before Kat's eviction. Woot. N\But first ...

We get the Slip 'n Slide comp. They're fun to watch, not easy to report. Nicole tells us that she felt she had to vote out Kat to have the least amount of people mad at her. We get the standard "I have to win HoH" Diary Room clips in between action on the Slip 'n Slide. Analyse lies to Jess, telling her there is no alliance (you know, the one that doesn't include Jess). Holly and Analyse have a kerfuffle over things said to others.

Christie, Jess and Analyse go to the Camp ComeBack room to talk privately. Christie denies an alliance, just a "group who will watch each other's backs and have a common target -- Jackson … then Holly." But Jackson heard them. Heh. Holly confronts Christie about the alliance (against them). Christie denies it and all is blamed on Jess. Back to a brief shot of the comp before going into commercial.

Nick took an early lead. He and Jackson seem to be doing the best. Now we get some falls. I always find it a miracle no one has broken any bones in this comp. Nick has started falling. Too bad, so sad. "Like a hippopotamus on a high wire," says Cliff. Jackson's straps fell down, so he took them off. Then his lederhosen pants fell off, so he's competing in his boxer shorts.

JACKSON/MICHIE wins HoH!

He tells us his initial instinct is to put Christy and Analyse on the block … or Christie and anybody. Cliff knows he's in a spot because he just made a deal last week with those Jackson is likely to target.

Holly and Jackson talk about who to put up with Christie to make sure Christie would be the one to go home. Nick? Hmm. Risky. Christie and Analyse discuss whether Jackson will backdoor someone. Christie doesn't want to go on the block. Poor picked on baby.

Tommy knows that Jackson doesn't like Christie and wants her out. He's made an effort to get along with everyone and feels it's best for his own game would be to not get involved.

Cliff tells Jackson that Christie and company took him in to target him (Jackson) in the deal last week. Cliff apologizes. Jackson is angry that they used Cliff to do their dirty work, but not at Cliff.

I can't help but notice the show directs them to call Jackson Michie in the Diary Room. But in normal house conversations, they usually call him Jackson. So, that's why I call him Jackson in my posts. We get a bunch of Jackson/Holly clips.

Heh. A funny segment on Analyse not knowing the days get "shorter" as fall approaches. She thinks that means the time will go quicker.

Jackson and Holly discuss the nominations. He wants to put up Christie and Analyse because only one can come down. He knows Analyse would be a vote for Christie to stay. He thought about Tommy but thinks he can work with him if Christie is gone.

Christie talks to Jackson, telling her there was no alliance and she wasn't the one who decided to get Cliff in on it. He doesn't tell her that he's putting her up. But he doesn't tell her he isn't. He tells her he's here to play the game.

They discuss the NJ Garden State Parkway and how close Christie and Tommy live to each other -- three exits apart. Cliff is there. Tommy is ticked that it hints they might know each other. By the way, I'm 131 or so, close but I insist I don't know them.

Jackson talks to Analyse, telling her she's not the target this week. He took in from the talk to beware of Nick. He didn't tell her he won't put her on the block.

A segment of Analyse's chicken punishment -- laying an egg, clucking, cooking eggs according to direction and delivering to the others.

Jackson talks to Nick, tells him he needs to target the people working against him. Nick just listens. Jackson is now more leery of Nick, thinking he confirmed that he (Jackson) is the target. He tells Holly that Cliff didn't make the deal, it was Nick. Nick is now on the list of who they want gone.

Time for the Nominations Ceremony. Jackson first nominates Christie, then Analyse. He tells them if he hadn't won HoH, he'd be there. He came to win and they're threats to his game, not personal.

BB21: Live Feeds into Sunday Morning - August 18

How dare you have fun when Christie
 is in such dire straits!

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Teary Termites:
  • The PoV comp (blocked to the live feeds) was a puzzle.
  • Jackson said that the second he saw it, he felt bad -- he thinks his least comp talent is puzzles.
  • However, from what he and the others said, he blew right on through it.
  • Both Analyse and Christie have been crying on and off.
  • They begged the live feeders for some kind of power to save them.
  • Well, Christie had a power she let expire.
  • And, after all, we did give Analyse a chicken suit.
  • After all the fussing they made last week that America hates them due to the field trip "win" they should know that we don't like them.
  • Jackson knows it. But he's playing right -- winning comps and thinking strategically.
  • He has improved a lot since Jack's been out of the house.
  • That doesn't really excuse his earlier behavior. I still want him gone. But I want to use him as a weapon against Christie and Nick. Then he can go.
  • Analyse? Eh. She's rather inconsequential.
  • Jackson has told Analyse over and over (and over again) that Christie is the target. He put her up because 1. she wouldn't go home against Christie 2. it takes a vote to keep Christie off the table. He told her that he didn't put Nick up against Christie because he really wants Christie out and Nick just might go instead.
  • Cliff is now denying there was any "real" five deal last week. He'll go where the power is and knows that, of Analyse and Christie, Christie is the more dangerous player. He can jury cover it with voting with the house.
  • Tommy is doing his normal "friends with everyone" bit and Christie is salty over that. However, that's what will keep him in the house long after she's gone. I'm not really a Tommy fan, but he does have them rather hoodwinked because he's the first one to console upset people and he comes across to all of them as just a caring kind of guy.
  • Holly and Jackson have been working more to get Nicole in the fold.
  • Christie told Analyse and Tommy that two spirit guides came to her during the night and told her she can get through this. Okay ... shades of Kaitlyn.
  • I fully expect Jackson will keep his nominations the same tomorrow.
  • I also expect that, as long as they do remain the same, we will see Christie walk out the door on Thursday with a rather landslide vote against her.
  • I also expect a lot of tears and weirds between now and then.
  • Tonight's show will be work the watch because the Slip and Slide is always amusing ... and I just want to see her face when she's nominated!

It really wasn't the comp for me.

America - send me a power!
We gave you a chicken suit.

My spirit guides tell me I'll get through this.

For the 100th time, Sis. Christie is my target.

There was never a five deal last week.

BB21: Live Feeds PoV Winner Bulletin - August 17

Despite my fears that Tommy would be chosen to play for the veto, win it and take Christie off the block again … that did not happen.

He was chosen to host the veto while Jackson, Analyse and Christie would play the comp with Cliff, Holly and Nick.

JACKSON WON THE VETO.

BB21: Live Feeds into Friday Night, Nominations - Aug. 16

"I never DO anything!" We know.

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Harried Hamsters:

  • Even though his mind was set up before winning HoH that he wants Christie out, Jackson did take time to talk to everyone.
  • Despite his initial thinking of putting Tommy and Christie up and then his secondary thought of Christie and Cliff, that's not what he did.
  • He has never heard or experienced any issues about either Tommy or Nick coming after him, but has with Christie and Analyse.
  • Hmm. WE know that Tommy is totally linked with Christie more than Jackson would think.
  • We also know that Nick goes whichever way the power goes.
  • Jackson has taken Cliff, Jess and Nicole under his wing despite the fact that Cliff just last week aligned with Christie and company.
  • In his talk with Jackson, Cliff told him he had to do it to stay in the game and that's all he really cares about -- he'll work with Jackson whatever he wants.
  • Yep, that's Cliff for you! But, right now Jackson will take it.
  • Nick does have influence over Nicole (unfortunately). But I think Nicole will definitely team up with Jess and go with her. And Jess will go with Jackson.
  • When all was said and done, Jackson made it clear that Christie was the target and Analyse was on the block with her because they both talked about trying to get him out of the house.
  • He talked with Tommy after the noms.
  • Tommy told him that if he gets chosen to play for the veto, he will try to win it and take Christie down.
  • Jackson told him he understands.
  • But … will Tommy do so? If he thinks about it, it wouldn't be the best thing for his own game at this point. If he thinks he has a shot at winning, he needs to shed Christie. If he doesn't play veto or loses it, he'll have a stronger connection with Jackson, Holly and company rather than the power of one Christie.
  • The plan is if Christie gets taken down, Cliff will go up and Analyse will get evicted. If Analyse gets taken off the block, Cliff goes up and Christie gets evicted. If Christie is up there no matter who is with her, Christie gets evicted..
  • Hmm.
  • Veto is tomorrow.

Obligatory after noms hugging session

Purely strategical. She wants to target me.

Watermelon culinary lesson for Cliff

"I'm a strong woman," she cries.

BB21: Live Feeds into Friday Morning - August 16

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine! Heh.

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Losing the Lederhosen:
  • If you tuned into my previous update, you know the winner of the HoH Slip and Slide comp -- Jackson.
  • Apparently there's an Internet fuss going on that Jackson cheated. The only basis I can even fathom for that is that he took off the lederhosen and finished his comp in the t-shirt and boxer shorts.
  • Technically, I doubt there's anything in the rules barring disrobing.
  • Well, to a point, anyway. Get naked, get disqualified I assume.
  • Jackson was blowing through the comp and probably would have won lederhosen or not. For a while Nick was kind of keeping up with him, but his stamina faded.
  • Although I can never be a Jackson fan (or stan as they Twitterspeak these days), he has moved up some in my book since Jack left the house.
  • First off, he seemed to take the "talking to" sessions in the Diary Room over his behaviors fairly seriously. Unlike Jack, who has no family willing to be known by the viewers, Jackson does have a family and they would like him to represent their family with at least a bit of decency.
  • Second, he's turned on Christie and Tommy. And, at this time, I think he's the only one who will make a move against them. I'm still ticked that those two know each other so well outside of the house and BB didn't make it all "secret couples." Hey, make one or two … it's just setting up those players as having an unfair advantage from the get-go.
  • That said, I do still think that Jackson has some rather serious issues and is a walking health hazard in the house, both to himself and others.
  • Oh. Just to make a note -- Christie is unhappy.
  • Heehee.
  • Much more surprising than that -- Nicole had a huge extended crying session alone in the unused Have Not room. (They should close that down if they're not going to use it because they don't enforce their own rules.)
  • As a person, I think I like Nicole the most of anyone in the house this season. But she needs to toughen up and get her game on. She can't let the stress knock her to the floor. I'm not exactly sure what brought on the crying jag, but it seems to be the whole Kat/Cliff decision dilemma and her own frustration with how she's playing the game.
  • Jess made nicey-nice with Cliff telling him she had no hard feelings. She said she knew he was dealing to stay for his own safety. She also told him that she thought Kat was too mice of a person for a game like this.
  • Hmm. Now, what does that say about Cliff?
  • But she does have a point -- for the most part, nice people have trouble in the BB house -- especially this particular one, I think.
  • Jackson is definitely targeting Christie this week (Yay!). The only dilemma  for him is how to go about it.
  • Jess had a long talk with him and Holly. They know Tommy, Christie, Nick, Analyse and Cliff are a block. Er, an alliance. Although Cliff tried to recruit Nicole into that group, she never really committed. So, Jackson and Jess are pretty sure they can get her to vote with them.
  • While he originally kept saying he wanted Tommy and Christie on the block, he's pondering backdooring her or putting her up with Cliff so she loses a vote to stay. He thinks that will also let Cliff keep his word to Christie by not voting to evict her.
  • Hmm.
  • The nominations will be made today. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
  • On an interesting note that came up in the HOH room reveal, Jackson's father was 43 years old when he had him. He didn't say how old his mother is/was at the time. But he's their only child. It's not surprising he was pampered, I guess. I also found out that his father is a pianist named Fish Michie and looked him up online. Oh my. Quite talented! Plus, just on a personal live experience observation, having a creative talented artist type person for a parent can affect the child in odd ways. Just sayin' … not excusing Jackson's behaviors.
  • That's about all I have for you now.

Perhaps an outsider, but not a target

Sans lederhosen = cheating? Nah.

BB21: Live Feeds HoH Comp Updates - August 15

When the live feeds return after the live show ends, I will be updating this post with coverage of the HoH comp. Refresh the page to get the latest update!

10:05pm ET - Feeds still showing adoptable dogs.

10:07pm - Feeds on, all in motion. Or a reasonable facsimile thereof.

Hmm. Blogger isn't letting me upload photos (screen shots). Grr.

10:08pm ET Quad Cam
10:16pm ET - Jackson and Nick seem to be in the lead. Jackson has a bit more than Nick in his stein.

1029pm ET - Cliff
10:33pm ET - As we could have guessed, Cliff and Jess are not good at this. Cliff moves like he's 100 years old, slow and steady. Jess moves slow and unsteady.

10:40pm ET - Jackson
10:47pm ET - Jackson's lead has really grown. He's way ahead of everyone, including Nick.

10:58pm ET - JACKSON IS THE NEW HOH!
Cliff wants to complete the comp, told them they can shut the lights down and all, but he wants to finish. I predict they won't let him as it would take him more than an hour longer!
