BB22: Live Feeds into Friday Afternoon - Sept. 4

I prefer the fish

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Sinking Ships:
  • Once again the live feeds were blocked for hours after the live show ended here on the East Coast.
  • Since they returned a bit after midnight here, I can only assume they decided to leave them down until after the show aired on the West Coast.
  • You think they'd realize show fans on the West Coast watching the live feeds are aware of the internet and already know the outcome. Knock it off, BB. The feeds are down too much this season!
  • I still prefer the adoptable animals over that one year they kept doing loops of BB Trivia. But still ...!
  • While I'm on blocked feeds, I don't like the stars. I guess the fish are out because outside people often have to enter for maintenance of the tank. I loved the old old days of FOTH -- front of the house. Every now and then we'd see yard guy watering the plants! Chicken Coop Cam on BB1 was cool.
  • But I digress. However, how do you like sitting here forever with no actual show happenings? See!
  • It's all a mess.
  • It sounds like Christmas wants to put Bayleigh and Da'Vonne on the block even though no one except Nicole really trusts Dani.
  • I can just see Twitter now if she makes that move. I'm not saying anyone should be kept in the house because they're Black. But when you know all of what's happening in the world as I'm sure Christmas is aware, it's social media suicide to nominate the two for eviction. Why single out both women? Hmm.
  • When the feeds first returned, Nicole was all in tears.
  • Not an unusual state for her, mind you. Carry on.
  • Cody wasn't in tears for sure. But he is so angry that, in the Kaysar speech, his name was there so much and with so many. Of course, Nicole's name was there, too. And, they were tied together by the wall shouter the other day.
  • Ian is upset that all will be coming back to him.
  • Kevin is confused.
  • David is oblivious and not a part of anything really going on in the house.
  • Enzo wants to stay out of the drama. "Yo, save that drama fo' yo mama!"
  • Okay, he didn't say that. I made that up. But I think it's something he just might say!
  • BB blocked the HoH room reveal once again.
  • BB got them up at 8am their time.
  • Then we ended up with several hours of blocked feeds again as they did the BB Basement comp.
  • From what they're saying, it was dark and goopy. No one is admitting to winning any powers.
  • It can't be Bayleigh as she locked herself in the bathroom stall with Da'Vonne and had an emotional breakdown.
  • The others know she's breaking down. So now there's talk of she needs to go home for her sanity and can't handle the stress.
  • Enzo and Dani were both talking about the stress and drama.
  • Ian said it's too much.
  • Tyler told Dani that Ian almost went to the Diary Room to DOR (self-evict) after Bayleigh lit into him.
  • After the Basement, Mean Girl Dani was in tears and didn't know why she was dragged.
  • Um, well. Seeds. That's all I can say.
  • But Dani did win a power. Yet she cries and complains about it. She told Nicole she has the power to allow the HoH compete in the next HoH comp instead of sitting it out. It's good for three weeks.
  • Heehee.
  • Oh my. I know I've been complaining about how boring they are. But I don't want them all crying and upset!
  • I just want a brouhaha or even just a kerfuffle, not psychological scars which may never heal.
  • Nominations should be later tonight.
  • ADDED: Christmas also won a power called the Blocker. It's good for three weeks. It can block the someone from being nominated as a renom. She has to enact it prior to the veto.

Can we all go home now?

Does he have a power?

I can never understand her hair

Bayleigh and her game breaking down

Sequins? Really?

She needs to go, but won't

BB22: Live Eviction, HoH Show Blog Party - Sept. 3

Out of four evictions, this is our second live show eviction. I can only hope the live feeds aren't blocked here for hours and hours like they were last week! It's bad enough that every day this week there have been extremely lengthy live feeds blocks. On the plus side of that, they're more boring than most casts anyway. So, no great loss.

If you want to see where you stand in the blog pool, you can see the latest pool standings at this post linked right here.

I will be updating this post with the major happenings as the show airs here on the East Coast -- refresh the page to get the latest news. As always, the real party is in the comments area. Please feel free to join in on the fun!

So ... who will be going home -- Kaysar or Christmas?

Julie tells us anything can happen on eviction night. Yeah, right. Then we're into the Previously On. Ohhh ... a new room in the BB house will be revealed tonight!

"Be careful where you plant seeds of doubt," Julie says.

Kaysar knows they want him out, especially since the renom is Christmas. He mistakenly talks to Memphis about the alliance. Not a good move since Memphis is a big part of the alliance.

Enzo has caught onto Dani, but doesn't do anything about it. Cody tells Enzo about an alliance in which he's not a part. Tyler is also on the Caught Onto Dani Train. He wants to be the one to end the madness she's spreading through the house. He talks to Bayleigh about it. Now, Bayleigh is supposed to be in an alliance with Bay! Then he talks to Da'Vonne, as well.

Of course, none of this scheming will do anything to help either of the nominees on the block tonight!

Julie gives us a teaser about the newest twist -- the BB Basement -- and into commercial.

Ian talks to Kevin and tries to lay out the alliances. Ian knows he can't really count on Nicole. Kevin is happy that Ian is telling him the lowdown. Then he talks to Bayleigh. Ian is rockin' that hammock! He tells Kevin they can use Kaysar to blow things up because Kaysar has nothing to lose. So, he approaches Kaysar. Kaysar seems to be pondering it.

To the living room.

Christmas - Thanks, vote the HoH way, makes weird Christmas poem

Kaysar - Love on personal level, gameplay and strategy suck ... blows up the alliances! Yay!

The votes to evict: (forgive the weird spacing)

Cody - Kaysar

Memphis - Kaysar

Dani - Kaysar

Ian - Kaysar

Kevin - Kaysar

Da'Vonne - Kaysar

David - Kaysar

Bayleigh - Kaysar

Nicole - Kaysar

Tyler - Kaysar

So, yet another sheeple unanimous vote to evict Kaysar.

His talk with Julie is cordial. He tells her the reason he came back was to try to convince people there's a better way for the world.

HoH comp time. Backyard. Julie tells them there are no Have Nots this week. Filter Faceoff. Two at a time, podium, will see images, answer. The winner of each two will choose the next two. More, exactly, less

Ian/Kevin - Ian out

Nicole/Cody - Nicole out

Kevin/Da'Vonne - Kevin out

Cody/Memphis - Cody out

Dani/David - David out

Bayleigh/Da'Vonne - Bayleigh out

Dani/Memphis - Dani out

Tyler/Da'Vonne - Tyler out

Christmas/Memphis - Memphis out

Da'Vonne/Christmas - Da'Vonne out

CHRISTMAS IS THE NEW HOH! (Where was this comp around when she was being carried through with a broken foot on her season?)

BB Basement - comp played completely in the dark will grant three new game-changing powers.

BB22: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - Sept. 2

So, here we are at the very important Power of Veto show. I think I can speak for just about everyone reading this that we would love to see a Kaysar win. I doubt anyone else winning it would save him. But, will it go down that way?

I'll be updating this post with the major happenings as the show airs here on the East Coast -- refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area. Please join us for all the fun!

Previously on and on ...

Ah, endurance is the veto comp this time instead of an HOH one.

We pick up after the noms. Enzo makes it clear that the target is Kaysar and Kevin is just a pawn. Of course, sometimes pawns go home. So, Kevin is really upset. He thought he was in good with Enzo. Enzo tells him he's good with everybody and no one is targeting him doesn't make Kevin feel much better at all.

Nicole tells us anything can happen. What I wish would happen is unlikely -- a backdoor of Nicole. Heehee!

Kaysar talks to Enzo, telling him he would work with him, not come after him, if he stays. Enzo is kind enough to him but tells him it wouldn't be happening. Meanwhile David is feeling all alone, he's lost trust with the others. Heck, he's just lost and shouldn't even be on the show if you ask me! Bayleigh tells us David is rubbing too many people wrong in the game, almost blowing up alliances and such. She says he needs to tone it down.

Ian tries to game talk with Enzo as that was supposedly the reason for the nominations. He tells him that if he (Ian) wins POV, he will do whatever Enzo wants. Alas, Enzo sees through the ploy as he tells us. He had brought up Ian's name as a replacement nom when talking to his alliance.

David explains how BB works with them not knowing the outside world. They get to play a game about outside news with Memphis doing a Mornings with Memphis Show. I daresay I prefer Dick at Night or his old morning talks with the live feeders.

Kevin thinks he might pick David as houseguest choice if he gets that chip. He wants David to save him and neither have anyone to work with.

Veto player pick time! Enzo randomly draws Tyler. Kaysar gets Bayleigh. Kevin draws HG choice ... yep, David.

Kaysar wants to make sure Bayleigh will save him if she wins the veto. After all, she was close to Janelle. But Bayleigh might have other thoughts as she needs to do what's best for her own game and saving him might blow an alliance. She tells us that she probably would not save him if she won.

Enzo, Cody and Tyler are worried David might save Kevin if he wins the veto. Tyler  tells us only Cody and himself have won anything so they should win this one. Hmm. It seems to me that both Kevin and Kaysar have each won something. Maybe I'm wrong on Kevin. But Kaysar won a Safety Suite.

Veto comp time -- BB Theater, puppetmaster. Hold onto the puppet strings for dear life as pulled in all directions. They're getting doused with goop as they're suspended on the moving "strings." Sigh. Kaysar is out first. Enzo out. Tyler out. Bayleigh down. David down on his own merit even though Kevin told him he has his back if he drops. KEVIN WINS THE POWER OF VETO!

Kaysar points out to us that, since Kevin was an obvious pawn, this might be good for him -- a ray of hope? Enzo is worried about who to put up since he really wants Kaysar gone. Would Ian be an issue? Would they vote him out instead of Kaysar? He actually wants another definite pawn.

Christmas says she will go up as a pawn. She's a bit worried it would make her look expendable but it would solidify Enzo's trust in working with her. Dani thinks the Slick Six need to discuss their options. She invites Tyler who is in a room with Nicole who's not in the Six. Tyler is ticked about it. She basically outed the alliance. He tells Enzo about Dani blowing it. Tyler suggest backdooring Dani, but that would mean Kaysar would stay.

Time for the veto meeting. Sure enough (and wisely), Kevin saves himself. Enzo goes the safe route and puts up Christmas in his place. He talks of securing against the "house target." That must make Kaysar feel so good.

So, tomorrow night it will be Kaysar or Christmas being evicted.

BB22: Live Feeds into Tuesday Evening - Sept. 1

Christmas stuffs her star babies in a trash bag

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Loquacious Louts:

  • Strategy talks perked up a bit today, thanks to Ian.
  • Yesterday I think it was Cody and Enzo talking about how Ian conveniently leaves something in each room to give him an excuse to go in while people are talking.
  • Well, yeah. Probably.
  • Plus Ian is very observant.
  • He's got the major alliances, minor alliances and side alliances pretty much down pat with the exception of not knowing where Dani and Tyler stand.
  • He was also in the yard and heard the fence shouter shout about Cody and Nicole playing everyone.
  • Because he knows the alliances take up just about everyone except himself, Kevin and Kaysar ... and David to a lesser useless extent, he really can't confide in many.
  • He went to Kevin, hoping Kevin will work with him since he's at the most on the fringes with the alliances.
  • Now, I do worry about that because Kevin's gameplay is usually to float back and forth with the power of the week.
  • But Ian knows that he himself has little to lose as he's a previous winner of the game and not really in any alliance with anyone other than Nicole (as the other previous winner) and he really doesn't seem to trust her or want to test the strength of the alliance with any sort of strategy.
  • So, he confided in Kevin.
  • He later hinted at things with Kaysar and Kaysar convinced him to spill the alliance beans.
  • They're trying to figure a way to flip the vote using the intel, but it looks rather bleak.
  • In other news, Christmas officially turned in all of her star babies today. She kissed each one while wishing a quick "g'bye" and shoved them into a large trash bag.
  • Oh my.
  • You'd think that would be some kind of crime!

More muscles than many of the guys

Can he work with Ian without tattling?

Still doubtful he'll stay

A hammocking Ian is a happy Ian

BB22: Live Feeds into Monday Afternoon, PoV Meeting - August 31

So not under the radar now

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Petty Possums:

  • Last night as many of the hamsters were hanging out in the yard, there was a wall shouter.
  • Yep! It's been a while. There were chronic issues with wall shouters and even the Megaphone Lady (Miss Kitty?) back in the day.
  • This latest shouter was loud and clear and shouted it twice: "Nicole and Cody are playing everyone."
  • Heh.
  • No, it wasn't me.
  • But you know if we could make it out on the live feeds, so could the hamsters.
  • The feeds shut right down and they/us lost the yard for the rest of the night. The feeds block was much longer than needed, I say.
  • Remember the year someone was throwing candy over the back fence? Heehee!
  • Shouters are more likely to get through more so than banner planes. Usually planes are spotted long before they can be seen from the yard. The shouters can sneak up.
  • Although they were obviously told not to discuss the shouter, Cody said a few times during the rest of the evening his game is ruined now.
  • Poor Cody.
  • Enzo's talks with people continued as he is to make his decision on a renom.
  • Well, unless Kevin doesn't use the veto, that is!
  • Bwahahahaha ... i crack myself up.
  • Enzo's main scheming partner seems to be Tyler rather than Cody. Hmm.
  • Enough people have exposed Dani's seed planting that she's jumped smackdab into the radar.
  • Enzo doesn't want to make any big moves, though.
  • He really wants Kaysar out. If he puts up the easy move of David, it might just backfire and Kaysar might stay. If he does his original plan of Ian, same thing as Ian is perceived as a dangerous player.
  • Aha! Earlier, pre-veto comp, Christmas had volunteered to be a pawn. Maybe it was even before nominations? Doesn't matter. She did volunteer.
  • And, now ... there she is!
  • Yep, Kevin saved himself and put Christmas up against Kaysar.
  • The house is just about all against Kaysar, if not all.
  • I see another house vote looming.
  • Sigh.

Off the hook this week

No one really is with him in the house

Kaysar tries to mix and mingle

Yo, yo, yo

You get what you volunteered for ...

We've already lost three girls!

BB22: HOH Reveal, Nominations Show Blog Party - August 30

Whoa! It seems like the show is so far behind the live feeds! I just remembered that people only watching the show don't even know the head of house yet unless they read spoilers! However, on the live feeds there is already a Power of Veto winner. So, that said ... this is NOT a spoiler post! Please keep your comments geared towards what we're watching on the show. Thank you!

I'll be updating this entry with the major happenings as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh this page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area. Please join in on the fun!

Previously on ... yada yada yada.
We pick up with the HoH comp started on the live show Thursday. Kayser tells us how much he needs to win while Tyler tells us how much he needs Kayser not to win because Kayser will target him. Kayser lands all three balls and makes it to the final round. Dani explains her hinky vote as both sympathy and to stir things up.

Enzo advances. David advances. Cody, Dani and Kevin make it to the final round.

ENZO wins the HoH!

Dani hopes that her hinky vote can be blamed on Da'Vonne. Stupidly, she had previously asked Cody to do a hinky vote. So, now he is not really trusting Dani because she asked him if it was him. If that makes sense. Da'vonne and Bayleigh are worried the votes will be blamed on them.

Nicole is trying to push her own agenda of Da'vonne. No one is confessing to the hinky votes. David is totally confused and think the others want to "make a story." Cody tells Enzo about Dani asking him to vote with her to flip so they could blame it on Day and Bay.

A small segment on religion with Kaysar and Da'Vonne. Unfortunately, the same people who haven't listened or cared all along will still not listen, nor care.

Have Not weekly exchange. Only three this week. Enzo gets Tyler as a volunteer, Cody picks Da'Vonne. Dani is the third Have Not. She's not a happy camper.

A segment on house besties Nicole and Dani. Sickening, I say!

Cody and Enzo talk nominations. He wants Kaysar and a pawn. Cody suggests David but Enzo shoots him down, telling him that it's his HoH. Kaysar talks to Enzo, telling him he would have his back, respects him and so on and so forth. Enzo commits to nothing.

Enzo thinks he can't trust Kaysar because they've played the game for four weeks and Kaysar has never talked game with him.

More star babies for Christmas. Numbers 10, 11 ... 12. BB tells her that her babies have grown and can be without her. So, she turns them in.

Enzo and Christmas talk. He wants to use her for information and promises her that she's safe. He has his eye on Ian. They talk about David and how Nicole F is close with both him and Dani.

Time for the nominations. Enzo nominates Kaysar, then Kevin. Nothing personal four weeks in the house without game talk.
Kevin cries to us.
Kaysar was hoping, but ...!

BB22: Live Feeds into Sunday - August 30

What up, Kaysar!

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of BB No Stars:

  • As you know from last night's brief update, Kevin won the Power of Veto.
  • Sigh.
  • So, what does he do?
  • He cries.
  • Then cries some more.
  • He's so grateful to Enzo that I can't help but wonder (or maybe even to the point of think) that Enzo may have thrown the comp to him.
  • Hmm
  • I guess we won't really know until the comp airs on Wednesday.
  • It sounds like David actually might have done fairly well in the comp.
  • Doesn't matter.
  • He still doesn't belong in the house with veterans of the show ... or if I daresay ... feeble stars.
  • Now, Enzo's original plan was to put Ian up as a replacement. But, of course, he was thinking that would be if Kaysar won. He (nor I) expected a Kevin win.
  • Naturally, I'd suggest a renom of David to put him out of his misery.
  • Or, Enzo could go with a Dani renom and the votes just might be there.
  • Although Dani is playing a shrewd (yet evil) game, her seed planting is starting to draw attention and not all of it good.
  • Cody and Enzo know she's a dangerous player.
  • More dangerous to their game than Kaysar?
  • The problem is that Kaysar has walked around saying he wants to target Cody.
  • If Dani were to target Cody, she'd sneaky get him on the block and then plant seeds with the others telling them Cody betrayed them.
  • I honestly think she's more of a threat to anyone she decides to target than Kaysar is.
  • Kaysar is just a bit too honest.
  • Dani wants to solidify Kaysar's departure with a house meeting telling him that even though they all love and respect him, he's going home and should try to enjoy his last days in the house.
  • @@
  • And Cody and Enzo think that's a good idea!
  • !!!!!
  • Although Da'Vonne and Bayleigh were talking about voting Ian out instead of Kaysar, that wouldn't be enough to save him.
  • Mind you, Ian is not on the block as of yet. The veto meeting isn't until tomorrow.
  • As all of this is going on, seeds are being planted against Bayleigh rather than the previous seeds against Da'Vonne.
  • Gah.
  • And, I ask ... what about Nicole F? She needs to get gone! (However, I think she does deserve to be there more than David.)
  • Oh, well.
  • Tomorrow's another day.

Who is this? Why is he in the house?

Yo, Enzo. Stop being so Bayonne!

Working her way onto the radar. Uh-oh.

Cry baby, cry.

BB22: Live Feeds Power of Veto Result - August 29

Today was the Power of Veto competitiion, blocked to the live feeds. But we do get to see the aftermath with the participants covered with paint.

The veto players were Enzo, Kevin, Kaysar, David, Tyler and Bayleigh.

Kevin won the Power of Veto.

Of course, he will save himself. The plan has been for Ian to go on the block in his place. Kaysar remains the target. Either way, I'll lose one of the few I actually really wanted to watch in the house this season.

Wah.

BB22: Live Feeds Nominations are in - August 28

The nominations, blocked to the live feeds, are done and over with. Enzo's target was known to us -- we only had to find out who his pawn would be.

Kaysar and Kevin are on the block.

If all was right with the world Kevin would annoy enough people to overcome their desire to vote out Kaysar. Or, Kaysar would win the veto and people would want Kevin out over Ian.

Veto comp tomorrow.

BB22: Live Feeds into Friday Afternoon - August 28

What up, Kaysar!

Who will they have to vilify now that Janelle is gone? Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Meddlesome Mice:
  • As you know from my late night post, Enzo is the new HoH.
  • Apparently there was a big ordeal determining the winner and they had to examine and reexamine frame by frame as it was so close between Enzo and Cody.
  • The live feeds were blocked for about three and a half hours after the live show and blocked once again for the HOH reveal, letter from home reading and such.
  • Way too much feed blockage this season! Stop that, BB.
  • The second I heard Enzo won, I knew Kaysar was doomed.
  • Of course, if just about anyone won, he'd be doomed, but ...!
  • Sure enough, while Enzo is making a point to talk to everyone and claims he has yet to make up his mind, he's made up his mind.
  • He told Cody that he plans to nominate Kaysar and a pawn. If one comes down with the veto, Ian goes up.
  • Sure, target two hamsters I like! Grr.
  • Enzo told Cody that he and Tyler would definitely be safe.
  • So, the alpha male reign continues.
  • Enzo is also asking people about the hinky votes when he talks to them. @@
  • It seems that neither Dani nor Enzo know it was both of them.
  • Yet they're both being a bit too obvious prying and making a big deal of the votes.
  • David continues to be absolutely clueless and useless. Who decided to put him in a show with seasoned hamsters?
  • Unless Kaysar can win either veto or HoH every week from now on, he'll be out the door.
  • Sigh.
  • Christmas still has all her star babies. I think it's 13 of them even though they didn't show that many on the segment the show did about them. They all have BB-related names like Veto, Twist, Backdoor and such.
  • Enzo and Cody seem to know that Dani is a snake but think it's too early to get her out.
  • I'm seriously dismayed with this season. Unless there's some kind of shake-up, it will be dominated by the white alpha males and very predictable.
  • I'll let you know the nominations when I know them. Maybe the pawn will be David, Maybe the hamsters will get a spine and not vote with the house.
  • Maybe I need a drink ...

What the hell is with that hair?

My pool boy will be safe this week

Play it smart, Bayleigh

And then there's that hair. Oy.

One big happy family

He had more personality as a mixologist

BB22: Live Feeds - HoH Winner - August 27

I was right that since they didn't push the live feeds for the comp, we would be blocked. So, it was adoptable animals until they felt we can watch once again. They are apparently waiting for the West Coast show to end. It didn't begin until past 11:30 EDT.

Enzo is the new HoH.

BB22: Live Eviction, HOH Show Blog Party - August 27

Good evening! I hope you're all safe from the storm as well as the virus! I also want to take a moment to thank those folks out there who have made donations to the blog. I've been having a few difficulties with the email account linked to the Paypal site and haven't been able to send out thank you notes. However, your donations are noted and greatly appreciated!

Tonight looks like it will be the first actual live eviction show of the season. Will it be followed up by an endurance HOH comp? Hmm. If so, I'll post a separate entry to follow it on the live feeds -- if they air it on the feeds, that is. I should make mention that I'm expecting storms here this evening. We're under a severe thunderstorm warning, flash flood warnings and a tornado watch. So, if I vanish, I've lost power. Carry on!

Sadly, we will lose either Janelle or Kaysar tonight. Life just isn't fair! Although not b=my blog pool person, I am saddened at the thought of losing either of them. For the latest blog pool standings, check them out on this linked post.

I will be updating this entry with the major happenings as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area -- please join in on the fun!

Julie dressed up more this week, as is appropriate for the evening.

Sitting through Previously On ...

But first ... Janelle didn't earn the title of legend for nothing. We get told what a threat she is. She tells us that although Kaysar is her ride or die, she needs to fight to stay. Kaysar has never outlasted her on the block. Tyler is having second thoughts, much too late.

Bayleigh wants Janelle to stay, but doesn't want to go against the Slick Six alliance. She tells them it would mean another woman out. Da'Vonne also speaks up for Janelle to stay. But neither will make waves on their own.

Kaysar tells us he's heard it will be Janelle leaving. He would never campaign against her, but now feels the need to speak up for himself. Janelle is campaigning for votes -- she needs a total of six people on her side. Dani really wants her out. She has to win over Cody, thus Enzo.

Segment on David and his big mouth. He's walking around saying that Da'Vonne tried to flip the house against the Nicole/David vote. Da'Vonne is indignant -- she had trusted David and now David shows that he didn't trust her. It ripples through the house. Tyler is now feeling betrayed by David because David told Da'Vonne he is the one who told him. Tyler tells him that he blew up his game and now he (Tyler) will be the target next week.

With the editing so focused on them coming up with reasons to possibly keep Janelle, I can only think Janelle will be evicted/

To the living room. Julie talks to them.

Janelle - Coolest group, love you. If I can benefit your game, keep me

Kaysar - Enjoyed being here, personal level like you a lot, cane to play the game and hope to do that.

The live votes to evict:

Dani - KAYSAR

Nicole - Janelle

Enzo - Kaysar

To commercial ...

Da'Vonne - Janelle

Memphis - Janelle

Bayleigh - Janelle

Cody - Janelle

Christmas - Janelle

David - Janelle

Kevin - Janelle

Ian - Janelle

Sorry about the double spacing. Blame Blogger! Janelle is evicted. Sigh. She hugs them all except Nicole although she didn't seem too thrilled with Kevin!

The interview went well. Janelle was upbeat while Julie shed her ChenBot for JanelleFangirl. Hopefully it will be online somewhere if you missed it.

HOH Comp - Carnival Workshop, two groups of six. Nicole, Day, David, Ian, Enzo, Kaysar ... roll balls up a ramp three balls in target rotating rounds. I don't know if it will be shown on the feeds. They haven't said.

Next week is also a live show.

I will go to the live feeds, but I'm not optimistic that they'll be airing the comp. If nothing else, I'll let you know the winner when it's known.

BB22: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - August 26

Good evening! I hope everyone is safe and well! Are you ready for the third All-Stars Power of Veto comp of the season? No? Um. Well. Tough. Go rustle up some adult beverages and snacks and get back to us.

I'll be updating this entry with the major events as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh this page to get the latest news. As always, the real party is in the comments area. Come join in on the fun!

Previously on and blah blah blah ...

I don't like the expression "my/our name(s) in their mouths." Just say they were talking about you. Otherwise I'll be picturing spitting up alphabet soup!

We pick up the action after nominations. Tyler tells us that Janelle and Kayser are the two biggest threats in the house. Well. Yeah. Probably.

Kayser tells us he's been on the block four times with Janelle in three seasons. He's never been on the block without Janelle.

So, we get into why each person absolutely needs to win the veto. Tyler feels content. Da'Vonne wants to talk him up so that her own place is secure and she's not going to be the next target. She asks Tyler who he would put up in either nominee is saved with the veto. She better cool it or it might be her!

Da'Vonne also talks up with Kaysar and Janelle. Now, I don't think they have all that much faith in her. But they'll take what they can get at this point as it seems the majority of the house is against them. Bayleigh has a better chance of getting in with them.

Dani and Nicole talk. Dani's strategy is to plant seeds all over the house. Yep. she's totally in it for herself this early in the game. She's willing to play anyone but not so willing to get played. Nicole, on the other hand, is very insecure. Yeah, can you imagine that?

We get a Janelle beauty program segment. Ian isn't into it.

Veto player picking time! Tyler randomly draws Cody. Kaysar draws Bayleigh. Janelle draws Memphis.

Dani pressures Bayleigh about not using the veto if she wins it. Meanwhile, Bayleigh tells us she'll make up her own mind. Kaysar and Janelle talk -- they're not too thrilled with the veto players except for Bayleigh.

Veto comp time! Cupcake trucks it is the Cupcake Class Championship. It's a head to head comp arrange cupcake puzzles.

Kaysar against Tyler
Cody against Bayleigh
Memphis against Janelle

Winners of the first round go on. Tyler wins round one, Kaysar out. Cody goes on, Bayleigh out. It's obvious to the others that Memphis is throwing the comp although he doesn't admit it. Memphis goes on, Janelle out.

Memphis and Cody have to square off as Tyler had the best previous time.  Cody wins so it's Cody versus Tyler. Cody wins the Power of Veto!

Although Memphis is a bit partial to Janelle, he's glad his alliance won the comp.  That way he's not put on the spot. However, Dani and Nicole have a bug in their bonnets thinking he was trying to throw it.

Aw, we get a touching Janelle and Kaysar segment. They both want to stay and are trying to think of a deal they could make to stay.

Enzo brings up the Memphis throwing the comp to Tyler. Now, Tyler, who didn't really trust him before, trusts Memphis less. Ohh ... editing cue that Memphis could be backdoored? Hmm.

Ah, I was just thinking that we haven't seen Christmas this episode. Now we see her. As the Plus One in the Safety Suite, she gets to mother a baby star pillow as if it's a real baby. BB gives all the cues. The baby star is demanding around the clock. Another baby is born, so she's up to two. And yet another and another. She gets ten total.

Janelle is pitching her campaign to Cody to use the veto on her. She will vote with him the next two weeks and work with him. Will Cody consider it?

Time for the veto meeting. Nope, nuh-uh. Cody, despite being interrupted by star babies, does not use the veto. Janelle and Kaysar remain on the block.

BB22: Live Feeds into Wednesday - August 26

Janelle will always be a BB legend

Yes, I skipped posting yesterday. To be honest, there wasn't that much happening in the house as far as new and exciting. There was no breaking news. For those who know me, I do have some health issues and they've been kicking in as of late. Plus, I anticipate an endurance comp tomorrow night and should reserve my strength and energy. How else will I win it? Oh, wait. I'm not in any of the comps. But anyway ...

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Evil Weevils:

  • Janelle is trying to campaign to stay. Kaysar is fine with that. She is not campaigning against him; she's just campaigning her own merits.
  • Both Kaysar and Janelle realize that the immediate target this week is her, with him probably being next.
  • They feel there are more worthy targets -- Nicole because all she does is whine and hang onto people, Kevin because he instigates and whines, Dani because she lies and instigates.
  • Right now Dani is concentrating on Janelle in her lies and instigations. She knows Janelle would be loyal to her. So, once Janelle is gone ... what friend will she target next?
  • Then there's David. He still is not getting the grasp of the game.
  • He never should have been cast in this season.
  • Bayleigh and Da'Vonne had an interesting talk about David. On the live show, viewers got a little insight into the complexities of being Black even among Black folks when Da'Vonne talked about the darkness of her skin causing her to be taunted, etc.
  • The talk concerning David had to do with upbringing. Y'see, some tried to get David together with Da'Vonne as they are both single. David is not meshing with her at all. Bayleigh thinks it's because David was brought up in a mostly white suburb of Atlanta and is "preppie." She thinks that Da'Vonne, brought up in a more urban and Black-populated area, may come across as intimidating to David. Bayleigh herself was brought up in a suburban environment and thinks David thinks of her as a Black white girl. She thinks it might be her voice.
  • I say it's not her voice. Sorry, Bayleigh ... but no one of any race, color or creed should have that voice. It's like chalk on a chalkboard. Someone done did you wrong there!
  • Now, I am white. But I live in a predominantly Black city. I actually totally understand what Bayleigh is saying -- I see things like that happening here. Being Black is much more complicated than many white people think!
  • Christmas is still talking too much but saying little of any consequence game-wise. She thinks she's in with everybody. But nobody really wants her for anything other than a number.
  • Enzo is having problems being a Have Not. He ate mostly catsup yesterday.
  • That saud, I think Enzo is playing much better than I thought he would. At least, so far. He's won two comps and basically gets along with everybody in the house.
  • One interesting point to ponder -- Janelle previously said on the live feeds that production told her she wouldn't be going home until mid-September at the earliest. Yet, both Keesha and Nicole have not been sequestered and are home (or at least free of BB). Hmm.
  • Oh, well. It still looks like most of the house consider Janelle the bigger threat and she will be evicted.
  • I guess we'll see.

Kaysar is always so intriguing!
\
While Kevin is so annoying!

I'd like to see Ian stay in it a long time

They can go sooner rather than later

BB22: Live Feeds, PoV Meeting - August 24

Tyler, what have you done?

Yet another rather brief update ... not all my fault. They've been a bit predictable!
  • Christmas is up to have to take care of nine crying star pillow babies. Daytime, middle of the night, whatever.
  • Da'Vonne is probably happy that Enzo did not give her the costume/punishment when she had asked for it.
  • Of course, Kaysar and Janelle will NOT campaign against each other.
  • However, the each will campaign for themselves as individuals.
  • Both know that the others are thinking Janelle the bigger target.
  • Kaysar has never been in the house without Janelle there -- he was evicted before her.
  • Some are trying to match up Da'Vonne and David, the only two singles in the house.
  • I really like that there hasn't been a showmance this season. I don't think this will really work out.
  • The PoV Meeting went down.
  • As I guessed, Cody did NOT use the veto and Janelle/Kaysar remain on the block.
  • One, probably Janelle, will go home this week.
