BB23: Live Feeds into Thursday Morning - July 15

If I were two Dereks I wouldn't sit in those chairs!

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Murder Mysteries:

  • Just a quick note -- don't forget tonight's live eviction show is at 8PM ET/PT. For years it was an hour later.
  • It still looks like Travis will go.
  • However, in his scramble for votes I forgot about the teams aspect until I was watching one of his talks with Frenchie.
  • I'm not AS sure as he is, but he brought up that the teams should be voting for their own person on the block to stay.
  • Therefore, both Travis and Alyssa should have three built-in votes from the get-go.
  • Now, I don't think the teams are obligated in any way to vote to keep a teammate, so his thinking might be flawed.
  • But, if they do, we're talking seven votes at stake.
  • The one staying would need four of them.
  • Frenchie was telling Travis that if it came to a tie, he would vote to keep him.
  • His math must be off. 16 hamsters minus three who can't vote (HOH and two nominees) minus six (or even not) will result in an odd number. There will be no tiebreaker no matter how the votes go down.
  • Frenchie keeps assuring Travis he has his back when in reality he's backing Alyssa. Or, at least I think he is. It's hard to tell with him as he keeps lying to people and changing his mind.
  • Alyssa is worried that she will go.
  • But I don't think she should worry so much.
  • Despite the chaos of Frenchie's whirlwind HOH hot mess, this group is more interesting to watch than many past seasons.
  • It seems for the most part that they have better than the average hamster candidates life experience-wise. True, the ages still gear young but we're not seeing the bartenders and dead-end jobs people so much.
  • Well, Xavier lied and said he was a bartender, but he's a lawyer!
  • He almost got caught with the lie when some were talking about going to Las Vegas and drinking after the season. He went and said he wasn't so much into either Vegas or drinking. He kind of clarified it by saying he's just a home-buddy at heart, but he needs to be careful.
  • I usually don't think they should lie about their jobs. However, he just might have a point. People automatically think money when they think lawyers. Due to the fact he's 27, I think he's just starting out, doesn't earn a fortune and has student loans to pay. He's the one with 11 siblings, so I doubt his family is made of money!
  • Frenchie seems to be focused on targeting Xavier rather than Derek X now. But he has no power, so I don't know how far that will go. I get the feeling that some of his followers are just surface following to avoid drama right now. I think the only real follower would be Derek F.
  • As far as Derek F goes, although he is so tight with Frenchie, if it comes down to it he's surely going to be his own man.
  • Brent is just using Frenchie. If he (Brent) doesn't win HOH, it will be interesting to see if he latches onto the new HOH.
  • While everyone should be dubious of Frenchie at this point due to his all over the place reign, he does still have people who seem to trust him.
  • Why? I just don't know.
  • This house of hamsters tend to do group activities to amuse themselves (and us).
  • Last night was some bizarre horror murders mystery led by SarahBeth. It came complete with werewolves and witches as well as gruesome murders as they "slept" through the night.
  • It's better than watching them play chess.
  • The feeds went to adoptable animals for a while yesterday, totally unexplained. While we get blocked feeds (too often!) a lot, the animals are usually reserved for comps, veto meetings, comp instructions and such.
  • Tiffany thinks Frenchie is using the current atmosphere in the world of social injustice and racial inequality for game purposes and is not sincere.
  • I agree. From his bio, Frenchie is very cognizant of the issues. BUT ... he keeps telling POC and women they're safe with him, then targeting them. Hey, if you're going to talk the talk, follow it up with walking the walk. Otherwise, don't make promises when your actions belie them!
  • I remain impressed with the women this season -- Tiffany, Claire and Azah are all huge show fans and probably the most well-rounded ones in years.
  • Then there's Whitney and Alyssa who have now decided to work together. I don't have the same feelings about their skills in the game.
  • How about SarahBeth, Britini and Hannah? Well, they have promise in the game.
  • The men this season ... not so much.
  • Huh. Britini made a promise to herself at 14 that she would remain a virgin. And, she stuck with it. Yay! It's nice to know that the likelihood of soft porn in the house this season is lessened even more. Allison Grodner may think that's what we like ... but NO.
  • That's pretty much it for now.
  • It still looks like it will be Travis out the door.
  • Oh, well. He irks me anyway. I don't know why. Perhaps it's those too-short sleeved tight shirts showing off his muscles or the no shirt at all bit.

Curls to braids to mouse ears

Claire dies in their horror Big Brotherton murders mystery

Hannah sports mouse ears better!

Azah is attractive with 'fro and with it hidden

Xavier just better not fall for a showmance!

Alyssa is more worried about tonight than is Travis.

BB23: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - July 14

Come one, come all! Welcome to the madness we call Big Brother! Now, since I've been watching the live feeds, it seems like they've been in action for more than a month. Nope. It's been a week. Tonight's show is the third episode. Tomorrow night is the first eviction.

Because this is a show post and some people read these but do not follow the live feeds ... NO SPOILERS in the comments, please. Yes, feedsters already know the results, but do not mention them in comments until they happen on the show. Comments doing so will be removed.

I'll be live blogging the major events as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments ... please feel free to join in on the fun!

Previously on ... we start off with Frenchie's safety promises. Teams, HoH, comps, meatheads, promising the women safety and on and on.

We pick up at the end of the nominations. Frenchie tells us he has to be the showmance killer. His pawn, Kyland, feels hurt, heartbroken and confused. It would have been nice had Frenchie given him a heads up. Frenchie's main man Derek F is even confused. Alyssa is confused. True, Frenchie was limited in his noms but he went and promised safety to so many!

Frenchie hasn't even talked to his own team about things. When Alyssa asks him why her he tells her the showmance with Christian. She's shocked and reminds him that it's day three. Christian figures out that he's the "big fish" Frenchie wants. (Safe due to Wildcard Comp win.) Frenchie thinks she lied to him.

Uh-oh! Frenchie realizes he made a mistake and now must decide on a new target! @@

Onto this week's social commentary. This time it's LBGTQ and SarahBeth's bisexuality.

Frenchie is telling us he needs to find a new target and he's prior military -- reminiscent of Philip on Survivor! Frenchie thinks Derek X is a snake. Frenchie accuses Derek X of being in an alliance. Frenchie tells Derek X he knows that he (and Travis) have been mentioning his name. Can we say HoH paranoia?

Brent wants to help Derek X because he's on his team. Brent reminds him of a backdoor. Derek X decides he really needs to win Veto to be safe this week.

Azah, Derek F and Tiffany bond. Xavier joins in. They decide that they're the Cookout and will each bond with another. The Cookout will be inviting Kyland. Yes, the Cookout is all about the Black culture in the house.

Then Xavier and Brent talk about a final two deal. Brent wants Derek X out of the target range and insert Travis in there. When Brent talks to Frenchie all of a sudden Frenchie wants to keep a safety promise? Huh.

Veto player picks time ... Frenchie goes first, gets Tiffany. Then Kyland who draws Houseguest's Choice, picks Travis. Alyssa draws Derek X. Heh. Frenchie didn't want either Travis or Derek X playing and they both are playing.

Derek F hosts the comp, tells them to change to swim gear and head to the backyard. There are huge drinks and a tropical atmosphere. Have to roll a cherry down a tube, then guide it with huge garnishes into their cup. Massive Cocktails is the name of the comp.

DEREK X wins the Power of Veto! He is also the only one working the puzzle smartly. Frenchie is sad, too bad.

Heehee ... Frenchie thinks if the veto isn't used his HOH is a total disaster. Too late.

He thinks he's going to have to go back on his word and the renom will be Travis. Brent wants Travis up. Derek X goes to talk to Frenchie -- very passive aggressive, do what you want to do, I want you to save Kyland. Frenchie lies to him and tells him that if Kyland remains, Derek is the target of others. Derek is promised safety but is dubious of Frenchie's integrity.

Alyssa tells Derek X she has his back if she wins HoH. She tells him that against Ky, she would go home.

Time for the veto meeting. Derek X saves Kyland with the veto. Frenchie puts Travis up in his place. Frenchie says it's because he cannot beat him at the end of the game.

Frenchie is sure his HoH is a huge success. Azah refers to it as Frenchie's Funhouse.

Remember  --  tomorrow's show is at 8PM ET/PT.

BB23: Live Feeds Into Wednesday Morning - July 14

Is the house giving Kyland a tension headache?

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Miscreant Mice:

  • Get this ... Frenchie seems to still be popular with many. Not all. But many.
  • Some have mentioned how he's all over the place. But it might be confusing me more than it is them! I guess.
  • Yes, they are very into playing the game. However, they seem mostly friends, too.
  • Alas, Derek X's brief fifteen hours of house fame with the PoV win has ended, He is pretty much the lone nonsocial wolf, albeit he's not a wolf. He might be the only one who hasn't clicked in with a solid (for this point in time) alliance or even a bond with anyone.
  • In Azah's bio pre-season, she mentioned a fear of manholes without further explanation. Well, now we know. She backed up and fell in an open manhole once only catching herself with her underarms. Her feet could touch water and she feared she would drown if she fell all the way in -- she can't swim. A man helped her get out.
  • It was Kyland's 30th birthday and a good time was had by all. Not that I wanted a repeat of Keesha's birthday, but ... it was okay-ish.
  • He was thrilled with his birthday there and had a long talk with the camera in the storage room later in the evening. He wanted to know if all BB houses are always this noisy. (Yes.) He went on about how he knows it's only been a week, went by fast, but he feels he's known the others forever. Loves his family, loves his fellow hamsters.
  • They had a toga party for his birthday. They had cake the night before.
  • Xavier seems to be thinking of a showmance. Cut that out right now! You're better than that!
  • Although there are rumblings about flipping the vote or throwing in a few hinky votes, it's looking more and more like it will be a (hated by us) house vote to evict Travis.
  • Why, I don't know. I don't care for Travis. But Alyssa is coming off as a nonessential to me. So, either can go.
  • Surprisingly, Frenchie's name isn't coming up as a possible target next week. But Derek X is. He really needs to get in and mingle better!
  • Of course, Christian's name is out there, too.
  • But we all knew that.
  • This crowd stays up way too late and gets up way too early.
  • Maybe that's why the age cut-off is 40.

Now, it's not really boring you, is it?

They had a toga party. I didn't know those still were a thing.

Toga! Toga! Toga!

Claire is playing smart and a bit under the radar for now.

Ohh! Christian and SarahBeth?!?!

BB23: Live Feeds into Tuesday Afternoon - July 13

Britini listens intently to Kyland ... or not.

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Misfit Toys:

  • My apologies for being a bit late with this ... technical issues. Grr.
  • As you must know from my last post, Derek X saved Kyland with the veto and Frenchie put Travis up in his place. On the block are Alyssa and Travis.
  • Now, strictly if the women in the house vote as a block and the men as another block, Travis would go.
  • I'm not really sure that will happen, but it's a strong possibility.
  • Of course, some may stray the gender line, but ...!
  • Both Kyland and Xavier, for example, are having issues with Travis and Frenchie. They also don't fit into the Alpha Boyz Bunch of Travis, Christian, Derek X and Brent.
  • Mind you, I personally think Xavier is definitely a real alpha male and even probably the most physically fit in the house. But that's not his personality.
  • I'm really enjoying Xavier on the feeds. The other day he threw a "for the camera" temper tantrum stomping, jumping up and down and fussing how the week was supposed to be an easy one! Maybe you had to be there but it was a hoot to watch!
  • Hmm ... now the guys are talking about voting to keep Alyssa.
  • Geez, these are fans and superfans of the show.
  • They should know we hate house votes.
  • Alyssa has been making the rounds trying to clinch the votes.
  • Frenchie solidified the Slaughterhouse alliance. Now it seems to be Frenchie, Whitney, Alyssa, Christian, Derek F, Kyland, Brent and Xavier.
  • Um.
  • Well.
  • Like so much this week, that makes no sense.
  • Supposedly Frenchie wants to target Christian.
  • I guess maybe he really wants Alyssa kept over Travis.
  • Kyland, for reasons I cannot comprehend, still trusts Frenchie. Yeah, really. I don't know why.
  • The only one I've seen Xavier get close to at all is Derek F and that's a bit of a surface thing.
  • Kyland told SarahBeth about the Slaughterhouse.
  • Oh my.
  • I don't think I've ever been so confused by the feeds. Had they started after the hamsters were in the house for a week, we'd be lost all season!
  • BB itself seems confused. They broke their forever rule of no outside news except for family emergencies by letting the hamsters know who made the Oympics gymnastics team.
  • Hmm.
  • Why?
  • They didn't need to do that. Britini had wondered but they didn't have to tell them!
  • Tiffany and Hannah wonder how someone can play the game without being a fan of the show ... Derek X is one of those. He studied a few seasons and is a quick study but he started out very lost.
  • Tiffany and Claire seem to be just a couple of the hamsters this season into the live feeds. I believe Xavier and Derek F might have watched them also, perhaps not so faithfully.
  • Now, Frenchie is way into the show. But his game is all over the place.
  • That said ... at least it keeps things lively!
  • I just hope they won't be falling into house votes.
  • But it looks like we have at least a mostly house vote coming up.
  • No great loss.

Why oh why does he trust Frenchie so much?

You were saved by it, did NOT win it, Kyland!

Xavier is my choice out of this room!

So, does this mean a showmance with Brent?

The strongest group of BB women in eons!

He's already talking about ousting Kyland?!?

I like Britini more than I thought I would

So, are his days now numbered?

BB23: Live Feeds Power of Veto Bulletin - July 12

The suspense is over. They had their Power of Veto ceremony today. Frenchie finally had to show his real hand. And, that hand kind of looks like what I predicted --

Derek X saved Kyland with the veto. In Kyland's place, Frenchie put Travis on the block.

So, it's Travis and Alyssa nominated for eviction.

BB23: Live Feeds into Monday Morning - July 12

I'm not seeing showmance body language there

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Goofy Gophers:

  • Yesterday was their big swimsuit group photo shoot. Of course, it was blocked to the live feeds.
  • We always missed it as they never used to turn on the feeds for at least a week or so and it happens within that time line.
  • One year they photoshopped in a hamster who had already been evicted.
  • Heh.
  • Naturally, much time was spent primping for the shoot.
  • Me? I think I'd drape a really large beach towel over myself.
  • Now, the photo shoot did give them the yard for the first full day and most took advantage of it.
  • There was a moment yesterday when Claire, referring to Whitney, said "she doesn't believe Sandy Hook happened."
  • I did not hear Whitney say that and I can't find any timestamp information which confirms it was actually said.
  • I do NOT want to get into conspiracy theories here. I lived many years in a town adjacent to that school and know someone who lost their grandchild. So, any discussion that it didn't happen will be immediately shut down here.
  • Of course, that got them all going talking about various conspiracy theories ... not my favorite topic of discussion at all.
  • They should have discussed alliance theories instead!
  • My head is still spinning.
  • And, the Frenchie talks went on all day and through the night.
  • @@
  • Derek X definitely wants to save Kyland with the veto.
  • No, he doesn't want to do it because that's what Frenchie wants him to do.
  • Frenchie told him that is what he'd prefer.
  • However, Derek wants to do it because he promised Kyland he would do so.
  • I'm pleased with that. I don't want to see Kyland go just yet.
  • Oh, wait. Now Frenchie is saying Kyland needs to go but do what you want to do with the veto.
  • Oh, geez.
  • Is it just me? Am I going bonkers? Or is Frenchie the most all over the map hamster on record?
  • It doesn't help that Christian (one I'm not too keen on) is putting a bug in Frenchie's ear about how Kyland needs to go -- if not taken out this week, he'd have to be a backdoor. Kyland "knows too much."
  • I can see it as a film noir now ... "The Hamster Who Knew Too Much"!
  • Brent is in his other ear saying they need to save Travis.
  • Argh!
  • Too much game too soon by too many!
  • Yes, I do think this is the best cast in years and years.
  • But that doesn't mean they won't drive me crazy!
  • Oh.
  • What about the women?
  • Well, they're playing the game. And, need I say, probably smarter than the men so far.
  • We'll know more after today's PoV meeting.
  • I still think Derek X will save Kyland and Travis will go on the block.
  • If Travis goes on the block, he will be the one going home.
  • But, who knows?

Oh my. Is Whitney a conspiracy theory believer?

Just what the heck is going on there, Hannah?

Alpha boys comparing abs. What's next?

Heart sunglasses with bangs still in her eyes

Derek X now in with Frenchie? Um, maybe not so much.

BB23: Nominations Show Blog Party - July 11

Greetings! As the show airs, I will updating this entry with the major events. Please refresh the page to get the latest happenings!. As always, the real party is in the comments -- I hope to see you there!

Recap, recap!

We pick up with the action after the HoH comp and those hamsters are so darn cute when they're all so excited! They are still introducing themselves and such. Derek F volunteers to go by Big D as there are two Dereks. Frenchie tells us a "meathead" will go home this week. It's narrowed down to Christian and one other as he promised some safety already.

We get a Have Not segment showing us their room. One bed is a boat. Frenchie talks to Derek F and they form a final two.

Frenchie tells Azah that he plans to not to target a woman this week. He tells us if he promises safety, he means it. He also tells Alyssa she's safe. And all the other women the same.

Then he talks to "meathead" Brent who not only sucks up to him, but talks of his father's suicide. Now, how can you not fee the need to protect Brent? Brent gives him his word that he will protect him next week if he is safe this week.

Their screen in the living room announces a Wildcard comp. HoH winning team does not compete. Winner gets safety for him and himself but not their own team. Once someone plays, they can't play again unless the entire team has played. One from each team plays.

Alyssa and Sarah tell Xavier and Christian they don't feel the need to play as Frenchie told them they're safe. Christian wants to play.

In the comp, they have Kyland, Christian and Whitney's team couldn't decide -- BB decides Hannah on a draw.

Kyland up first. They must quietly search for lost keys, phone and wallet in a trashed hotel room. They have five minutes to search before penalties kick in. They must not make noise or get penalties. It's called Do Not Disturb. Then Christian. Then Hannah.

Hannah noise 114 414 total score she had time scores
Christian noise did very well and under five minutes.
Kyland went over time and noise.

Christian wins safety. He has to spin a wheel to see how many of his teammates he can keep safe. He could end up with the whole team safe or just one other.

He spins and it lands on one person. Uh-oh! He chooses Xavier as the girls on his team told him that Frenchie already promised them safety. Alyssa tells us she doesn't want to be the first person on the block. Christian thinks his entire team is safe.

Frenchie now claims to have no clue who to nominate. He sees that Christian seems to be wanting to showmance Alyssa. Oh noes! No meatheads! No showmancers! He asks a group if anyone has approached them for alliances. Alyssa tells him no other than the team aspect. He thinks she's lying. He decides if he can't go after Christian, he needs to go after the "next best thing."

Nominations time ... Frenchie nominates Kyland, then Alyssa. He says he had a fishing dream and needed the perfect bait. Kyland was nominated because he wants someone he trusted to play in the comp with him. No reason stated for Alyssa. She's very shocked as she had been promised safety. Kyland is a bit less shocked as he thought he got along well with Frenchie.

BB23: Live Feeds into Sunday Morning - July 11

R-A-G-G-M-O-P-P Ragmop! Curls are back.

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Scampering Squirrels:

  • As you surely know from my last brief update, Derek X won the Power of Veto.
  • What? You didn't read it? Shame on you! Pshaw!
  • Yes, he won it and Brent was immediately on him telling him that he needs to do whatever Frenchie wants to do with it.
  • Later on, believe it or not, Alyssa (on the block with Kyland and has to know that Frenchie wants Kyland saved) was giving Derek X the same advice.
  • She actually made more sense of it, telling him that if he didn't do what Frenchie wanted, he would no longer trust him. It's a way of building trust and protecting his own game.
  • Obviously she thinks whoever the replacement is will be the one evicted and the "bigger fish" as Frenchie puts it.
  • Hmm.
  • His original bigger fish was Christian who saved his own butt with his Wildcard Comp win on Friday.
  • Derek X then seemed to be his target.
  • Now Derek X has safety with the PoV win plus he had had a heart to heart talk similar to Brent's talk with Frenchie and gained favor before the comp.
  • The list of your large fish is shrinking almost by the day.
  • He's telling the guys he will be putting up a woman.
  • Hmm.
  • He's told Alyssa that he put her up because she lied to him about knowledge of alliances.
  • Then came Derek's talk with Frenchie.
  • Oh my. Frenchie was very passive aggressive about it all -- "I'd really like Kyland saved. But you won it. Do whatever you want with it. Of course, it would be nice if you save Kyland but it's your choice."
  • Okaaay.
  • He also told Derek X that Alyssa is now his target.
  • Hmm.
  • SarahBeth's father passed away of COVID last July. Sigh.
  • It seems like winning the PoV took a weight off of Derek's shoulders. All of a sudden he's a social butterfly where as before he was cordial but very quiet. He must have really been worried that he would be evicted.
  • Now, Derek F is very social. However, I notice that he's tight-lipped about game talk when it comes to things affecting his own game. That's a good move.
  • While Derek X was with him, Frenchie had Brent come in. He ignored his own teammate Azah who wanted to get in there to shower so he could talk to Brent.
  • He's not as much for either women or his own team than he is with the alpha boys, eh?
  • However, I still think that Derek X will save Kyland and it will be alpha boy Travis up and out.
  • But I wouldn't wager money on it. This HoH reign has been very unpredictable.
  • It sounds like BB has told them no smoking, not even in the yard, this year. Although I haven't heard him say anything about it, I've seen Frenchie putting on a nicotine patch. Then tonight Derek F was complaining that they let Evel Dick smoke and they won't let him although he was smoking in the yard the other day.
  • Late late night Whitney and Frenchie, mostly Frenchie, went around pranking sleeping hamsters putting shaving cream on their hands (and sometimes feet), then waking them up while hiding.
  • Oh, so darn funny.
  • Not really.
  • Today should be pretty much a day of rest and yard for them.
  • PoV meeting tomorrow and I would almost bet my bippy that Derek X will abide by Frenchie's wishes and save Kyland.
  • After all, that would be best for his game.

BB23: Live Feeds - Power of Veto Winner Bulletin - July 10

Why wait until Wednesday when you could know today? Yes, they played the Power of Veto Comp today and the show hasn't even aired the nominations yet!

Want to know who won the PoV?

Derek X is wearing some bling

Yes, Derek X won the comp. Brent is advising him to do whatever Frenchie wants without question.

Hmm ...

BB23: Live Feeds into Saturday Morning - July 10

Kyland and Claire

G'day, fellow voyeurs! Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother house of harried hamsters:

  • Now, I like Frenchie. I actually think Frenchie is liked by his fellow hamsters. But, man ... dude is putting too much into this first HOH of the season.
  • If they all do this, our heads will be constantly spinning all summer.
  • That's probably not good for our health.
  • He's still pushing for either Kyland to win the veto or, if won by someone else, Kyland to be saved.
  • He's still saying "bigger fish."
  • Dang it. I think he might need a bigger boat for all the baggage he's gathering right now.
  • In other news, a hamster I least expected it from cried. It was good cause, though. Xavier. It turns out that his brother died not long before Xavier got his key and he came into the house not even knowing the cause of death. If memory serves, he has ten siblings. So, it might be one not close in age or it might be one a year away. I'm not sure many were boys, either. But that has to be horrible. Some conversation going on in the house got him thinking about it and he broke down alone.
  • Derek F discovered him in that state and told him he's always there for him.
  • Sigh.
  • Derek F is not going to be a comp beast. Unless the comp is bench pressing, I think he's going to be the first out in many physical comps. That said, he's been cooking and really socializing well. He's making himself out to be no threat and very personable ... pretty much like he said he would.
  • Frenchie seems to seriously think Alyssa and Christian are/were about to be a showmance. Hmm. I thought Alyssa and Xavier had a flirtmance going on. Heck, they're in the Have Not Room all together!
  • Although semantics, I've been thinking back about Frenchie telling Tiffany and Whitney that he wouldn't nominate a woman. I believe his actual words were he didn't want to nominate one, not that he wouldn't. But he did.
  • He told Kyland that he put him up because he thinks the veto winner will have some sort of reward this week, extended safety or something. He wants someone strong up there playing for veto with him and someone he wants to win a reward.
  • Oh my.
  • I have no clue where he got that idea. He says from what Julie said. I think he's dead wrong.
  • SarahBeth is covering her bases. She talked to Frenchie to make sure they were "good." She probably doesn't want to be a replacement nominee!
  • This morning the feeds had adoptable animals while they drew for PoV players.
  • In addition the Frenchie, Kyland and Alyssa, we have Travis, Tiffany and Derek X.
  • From what they said, Travis got picked as Houseguest's Choice. Well, he is a strong looking competitor.
  • But would he really choose to save Alyssa if he wins it? Or would he go for Frenchie's request and save Kyland?
  • But then, who would go up as a replacement nominee?
  • Hmm.
  • They (Travis and Alyssa) also discussed convincing Derek X to save her if he wins.
  • Hmm.
  • Derek F is hosting the comp.
  • Among the many alliances of Frenchie and Company, a womens alliance is quietly coming along. Britini, Tiffany, Claire and Azah may eventually be a power group. Time will tell.
  • The PoV comp will be later today.
  • I'll let you know when I know as it won't be shown on the feeds. We'll be blocked and have to wait for them to come back on.

Frenchie breaks out the tie-dye

Derek X seriously looking serious

Alyssa, nominated because of Christian?

Derek F is not crying, just rubbing his eyes

Xavier wears both glasses and retainers! Oh my.

It must be BB as Travis is also rocking tie-dye

BB23: Live Feeds into Friday Evening - July 9

Azah was low-key until she stirred the Frenchie pot

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Confusing Cats:

  • If you didn't see the bulletin I posted earlier today -- Frenchie nominated Kyland and Alyssa.
  • Yes, you heard me right.
  • No, your reading skills have not failed.
  • Kyland and Alyssa.
  • Offhand, just judging from what I've seen on the feeds, I understand the Alyssa (even though he told Tiffany and Whitney he wouldn't nominate a woman). Alyssa really hasn't had much to do with Frenchie and has been hanging out mainly with the men who don't have much to do with him.
  • But Kyland, one of Frenchie's many allies? What's up with that?
  • Y'see, Frenchie's original target was Christian. But Christian won the Wildcard Comp and saved himself.
  • So, you would think the next logical choices would be Derek X or Christian's bud Travis.
  • Well, apparently Frenchie is determined to do some kind of early season backdoor.
  • He wants Kyland to win the PoV, take himself off and then SOMEONE goes up and out. Travis?
  • He told both Kyland and Alyssa that they are not his targets.
  • Of course, if Alyssa wins PoV, that SOMEONE would still go up.
  • Frenchie is so all over the place with his alliances and promises that I don't want to venture a name for the SOMEONE right now.
  • Let's go back a bit. Similar how Brent saved his butt with Frenchie, Derek X did the same. Like Brent, he had a heart to heart talk with Frenchie and all is well between them.
  • For now, at least.
  • Now, this morning, Azah ... who has been playing fairly mellow ... told Derek F that Frenchie was playing for Twitter, the audience and not for himself. She pointed out how many times he's changed his targets.
  • Of course, Derek F is one of Frenchie's main bros, what will he do with that information? Nothing so far.
  • Meanwhile, Frenchie came out of the Diary Room and it looked like he had been crying.
  • I think perhaps he realized he has confused Big Brother with The Fast and Furious and was told there are no do-overs.
  • He told one of his groups (which includes Travis!) that he wants to go after Alyssa because she's so close with Christian.
  • Xavier told him he didn't think so and that he could tell her to distance herself from him. (Mind you, Alyssa and Xavier seem fairly close.)
  • After noms were made, he told Alyssa she was bait for "the big fish."
  • Well there.
  • Simple, right?
  • Nope. We're talking about a discombobulated debacle afoot.
  • Let's see how this plays out.

What? He's not nominated for eviction? You don't say!

Hannah just doesn't know. She rocks the argyle, though.

Whitney just doesn't know

Frenchie talking to his noms. They don't kill him.

BB told Christian he can't have the braids, so man-bun.

It's all fun and games until the fun goes away, Tiffany.

BB23: Live Feeds Bulletin - Nominations - July 9

The feeds were blocked for nominations. Hmm. Frenchie nominated Alyssa and Kyland. He's saying he wants and Kyland has to win the veto. He's also saying that Alyssa has an alliance with Christian and is, in fact, Christian's strongest ally. Oh. And that she lied to him about it. He claims that Kyland has to come off and he has "bigger fish to fry."

Okaaay ...
