BB22: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - August 26

Good evening! I hope everyone is safe and well! Are you ready for the third All-Stars Power of Veto comp of the season? No? Um. Well. Tough. Go rustle up some adult beverages and snacks and get back to us.

I'll be updating this entry with the major events as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh this page to get the latest news. As always, the real party is in the comments area. Come join in on the fun!

Previously on and blah blah blah ...

I don't like the expression "my/our name(s) in their mouths." Just say they were talking about you. Otherwise I'll be picturing spitting up alphabet soup!

We pick up the action after nominations. Tyler tells us that Janelle and Kayser are the two biggest threats in the house. Well. Yeah. Probably.

Kayser tells us he's been on the block four times with Janelle in three seasons. He's never been on the block without Janelle.

So, we get into why each person absolutely needs to win the veto. Tyler feels content. Da'Vonne wants to talk him up so that her own place is secure and she's not going to be the next target. She asks Tyler who he would put up in either nominee is saved with the veto. She better cool it or it might be her!

Da'Vonne also talks up with Kaysar and Janelle. Now, I don't think they have all that much faith in her. But they'll take what they can get at this point as it seems the majority of the house is against them. Bayleigh has a better chance of getting in with them.

Dani and Nicole talk. Dani's strategy is to plant seeds all over the house. Yep. she's totally in it for herself this early in the game. She's willing to play anyone but not so willing to get played. Nicole, on the other hand, is very insecure. Yeah, can you imagine that?

We get a Janelle beauty program segment. Ian isn't into it.

Veto player picking time! Tyler randomly draws Cody. Kaysar draws Bayleigh. Janelle draws Memphis.

Dani pressures Bayleigh about not using the veto if she wins it. Meanwhile, Bayleigh tells us she'll make up her own mind. Kaysar and Janelle talk -- they're not too thrilled with the veto players except for Bayleigh.

Veto comp time! Cupcake trucks it is the Cupcake Class Championship. It's a head to head comp arrange cupcake puzzles.

Kaysar against Tyler
Cody against Bayleigh
Memphis against Janelle

Winners of the first round go on. Tyler wins round one, Kaysar out. Cody goes on, Bayleigh out. It's obvious to the others that Memphis is throwing the comp although he doesn't admit it. Memphis goes on, Janelle out.

Memphis and Cody have to square off as Tyler had the best previous time.  Cody wins so it's Cody versus Tyler. Cody wins the Power of Veto!

Although Memphis is a bit partial to Janelle, he's glad his alliance won the comp.  That way he's not put on the spot. However, Dani and Nicole have a bug in their bonnets thinking he was trying to throw it.

Aw, we get a touching Janelle and Kaysar segment. They both want to stay and are trying to think of a deal they could make to stay.

Enzo brings up the Memphis throwing the comp to Tyler. Now, Tyler, who didn't really trust him before, trusts Memphis less. Ohh ... editing cue that Memphis could be backdoored? Hmm.

Ah, I was just thinking that we haven't seen Christmas this episode. Now we see her. As the Plus One in the Safety Suite, she gets to mother a baby star pillow as if it's a real baby. BB gives all the cues. The baby star is demanding around the clock. Another baby is born, so she's up to two. And yet another and another. She gets ten total.

Janelle is pitching her campaign to Cody to use the veto on her. She will vote with him the next two weeks and work with him. Will Cody consider it?

Time for the veto meeting. Nope, nuh-uh. Cody, despite being interrupted by star babies, does not use the veto. Janelle and Kaysar remain on the block.

BB22: Live Feeds into Wednesday - August 26

Janelle will always be a BB legend

Yes, I skipped posting yesterday. To be honest, there wasn't that much happening in the house as far as new and exciting. There was no breaking news. For those who know me, I do have some health issues and they've been kicking in as of late. Plus, I anticipate an endurance comp tomorrow night and should reserve my strength and energy. How else will I win it? Oh, wait. I'm not in any of the comps. But anyway ...

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Evil Weevils:

  • Janelle is trying to campaign to stay. Kaysar is fine with that. She is not campaigning against him; she's just campaigning her own merits.
  • Both Kaysar and Janelle realize that the immediate target this week is her, with him probably being next.
  • They feel there are more worthy targets -- Nicole because all she does is whine and hang onto people, Kevin because he instigates and whines, Dani because she lies and instigates.
  • Right now Dani is concentrating on Janelle in her lies and instigations. She knows Janelle would be loyal to her. So, once Janelle is gone ... what friend will she target next?
  • Then there's David. He still is not getting the grasp of the game.
  • He never should have been cast in this season.
  • Bayleigh and Da'Vonne had an interesting talk about David. On the live show, viewers got a little insight into the complexities of being Black even among Black folks when Da'Vonne talked about the darkness of her skin causing her to be taunted, etc.
  • The talk concerning David had to do with upbringing. Y'see, some tried to get David together with Da'Vonne as they are both single. David is not meshing with her at all. Bayleigh thinks it's because David was brought up in a mostly white suburb of Atlanta and is "preppie." She thinks that Da'Vonne, brought up in a more urban and Black-populated area, may come across as intimidating to David. Bayleigh herself was brought up in a suburban environment and thinks David thinks of her as a Black white girl. She thinks it might be her voice.
  • I say it's not her voice. Sorry, Bayleigh ... but no one of any race, color or creed should have that voice. It's like chalk on a chalkboard. Someone done did you wrong there!
  • Now, I am white. But I live in a predominantly Black city. I actually totally understand what Bayleigh is saying -- I see things like that happening here. Being Black is much more complicated than many white people think!
  • Christmas is still talking too much but saying little of any consequence game-wise. She thinks she's in with everybody. But nobody really wants her for anything other than a number.
  • Enzo is having problems being a Have Not. He ate mostly catsup yesterday.
  • That saud, I think Enzo is playing much better than I thought he would. At least, so far. He's won two comps and basically gets along with everybody in the house.
  • One interesting point to ponder -- Janelle previously said on the live feeds that production told her she wouldn't be going home until mid-September at the earliest. Yet, both Keesha and Nicole have not been sequestered and are home (or at least free of BB). Hmm.
  • Oh, well. It still looks like most of the house consider Janelle the bigger threat and she will be evicted.
  • I guess we'll see.

Kaysar is always so intriguing!
\
While Kevin is so annoying!

I'd like to see Ian stay in it a long time

They can go sooner rather than later

BB22: Live Feeds, PoV Meeting - August 24

Tyler, what have you done?

Yet another rather brief update ... not all my fault. They've been a bit predictable!
  • Christmas is up to have to take care of nine crying star pillow babies. Daytime, middle of the night, whatever.
  • Da'Vonne is probably happy that Enzo did not give her the costume/punishment when she had asked for it.
  • Of course, Kaysar and Janelle will NOT campaign against each other.
  • However, the each will campaign for themselves as individuals.
  • Both know that the others are thinking Janelle the bigger target.
  • Kaysar has never been in the house without Janelle there -- he was evicted before her.
  • Some are trying to match up Da'Vonne and David, the only two singles in the house.
  • I really like that there hasn't been a showmance this season. I don't think this will really work out.
  • The PoV Meeting went down.
  • As I guessed, Cody did NOT use the veto and Janelle/Kaysar remain on the block.
  • One, probably Janelle, will go home this week.

Day dodged a bullet with the star babies

BB22: Nominations Show Blog Party - August 23

It's such a big mystery, right? Who will win Safety Suite? Who will Tyler nominate for eviction?

I'll be updating this entry with the major events as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!

Previously on segment. Hmm ... how many years have we had that same narrator on the show?

We pick up on things just after Tyler won HoH. He thinks it's time to deal with Kaysar and Janelle because they had "my name in their mouths." David feels safe because he's in good with Tyler. Cody thinks Janelle and Kaysar have also had his 'name in their mouths."

Cody comes up with a new alliance of the Slick Six, one that he doesn't take overly seriously. Dani, Tyler, Enzo, Cody, Bayleigh and Da'Vonne.

The Have Nots retire and select new ones. David - Enzo volunteers. Kaysar - Cody volunteers. Bayleigh volunteers. Nicole F nastily picks Janelle as she likes to talk about her. Janelle tells us that Nicole doesn't like to have confrontation and her nasally voice is getting on her nerves. Heh.

Kaysar and Janelle talk about how they always get everybody's attention. They think there's a possibility of Memphis saving one of them if he wins the Safety Suite ... then the other might win PoV. They are sure they will be nominated. Memphis tells us that saving one of them would put him in a bad place in the game -- he will throw the comp.

Enzo talks of having a bidet in the bathroom and we get into a little segment on Enzo's mishaps with it. Heehee.

More Janelle and Kaysar on being 40 years old and reuniting after being on the show 15 years ago. Such a good friendship even though they haven't kept close over the years.

Tyler thinks they're the most dangerous players to his own game. He also seems to think it would be what most the others want if he were to put them on the block.

Dani found Da'Vonne and Bayleigh talking with Janelle and Kaysar. So, she goes to Tyler as they are part of the Slick Six and apparently Da'Vonne simply must be working with Janelle and Kaysar.

The Safety Suite announces they can get passes. Enzo, Nicole, COdy, Memphis and Dani will play. Da'Vonne wants Enzo to win and choose her as his Plus One so she can wear a costume. Dani knows she wants the costume, but tells Tyler that Da'Vonne wins it because she's in with Janelle.  So now Tyler thinks she doesn't trust him.

The Safety has been locked inside the safety vault and their job is to steal it. Get safety sphere and cross the laser field to win. Nicole F is up first. The safety sphere is about the size of one of those chair balls. Memphis next. He sits on the ball sphere to waste time and throw it. Enzo next. He thinks the Meow Meow is like the Shundance Kid. Then Dani is up.

Nicole - 16.36
Memphis- missed it, they need to announce as I type!
Enzo Beat the other two
Dani good, but not as good as Enzo

Enzo chooses Christmas as his Plus One, so she is safe.

Da'Vonne thinks Enzo is trying to get Christmas into their group. Enzo tells us that he doesn't talk game with her, so he's trying to pull her in. Tyler thinks even more that Da'Vonne doesn't trust him because she didn't look at him. @@ I think she was in shock over the Plus One.

Kaysar goes to talk to Tyler. He pretty much knows he's going up. Tyler tells him that he hurt his feelings because he was talking about him. Tyler tells us he really likes Kaysar and might be able to work with him down the line. Then Janelle talks to Tyler. Tyler says just about the same thing he said to Kaysar. Janelle denies talking about him and said she talked about Nicole F. She thinks they could have worked together. Tyler tells her everyone is targeting her.

Nominations ceremony time. Tyler nominates Kaysar, then Janelle. He tells them they tried to flip the votes both weeks and then tried to mess up his game.

BB22: Live Feeds into Sunday - August 23

The coolness that is Kaysar

Thank you for bearing with me as I continue to battle some kind of gastronomical thing. I think it's due to the slop. Oh. Wait. That's the hamsters unless I'm dissing my own culinary abilities! Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Jealous Jokers:
  • With Cody winning the power of veto, it seems the nominations will not change.
  • I think there would be a better shot of changing Tyler's nominations had Tyler won the PoV!
  • It's refreshing to watch the good friendship between Kaysar and Janelle. Unlike so many others in the game (this season and past), they share a complete honesty about their lives and game strategies. It's like there is nothing they cannot discuss and yet it's in no way any kind of showmance.
  • Janelle is pretty certain that she will be the one going home this week and wants Kaysar to continue to fight for the win.
  • Kaysar can't understand why -- in this season and their previous ones -- others seem to want Janelle out so badly and take an automatic dislike/distrust to her.
  • Kaysar thinks it's because she's such a strong woman -- something he admires about her, but others fear. He thinks she's much stronger than himself.
  • Both blame Kevin's involvement for the "brainwashing" of Nicole A. Janelle said of Kevin's brainwashing of Nicole regarding her -- "I'm not here to do diabolical damage to someone's brain."
  • Both still like Nicole A as a person but feel trying to save her ruined their own games.
  • They were talking with Bayleigh about it and she too thinks Kevin set all of Nicole's distrust of J/K in motion.
  • All three would love to see Kevin on the block and out.
  • Meanwhile, both Kayser and Janelle think that Tyler is a nice guy and playing the game well ... even though he put them on the block.
  • Kaysar and Janelle both cringed and laughed when they decided that Tyler was probably in the fourth grade when they first competed on BB6.
  • Enzo (two years older than Janelle and Kaysar) had his own moment of age cringing when he, in front of Cody and Tyler, declared himself the "Shundance Kid." He was referencing the movie The Sundance Kid and the fact that he was once on the block in costume and didn't get evicted.
  • He had to explain the movie reference to both of then and they were still confused.
  • Then one, I think it was Cody, piped up with, "With Robert Redman?"
  • Oy.
  • In other news, the punishment that Christmas got from being the Plus One in the Safety Suite is "caring" for a baby star pillow with a happy face on it -- feeding it, burping it, taking it around in a stroller and generally mothering it.
  • @@
  • Sure, now we get to listen to her never-ending talking in baby talk.
  • So ... who are my likes and dislikes so far in the season? Hmm. I will always like Janelle and Kaysar, but I actually like Kaysar over Janelle. I really still like Ian even with his mustache. Don't hate me, but I do like Tyler even though he nominated my two favorites in the house. Bayleigh, except for her voice, is working her way up my like ladder. My liking runs hot/cold with Da'Vonne a bit. I think Enzo is actually playing the game pretty well and sometimes can be entertaining.
  • I do NOT like the way they're acting or how they're playing -- Dani (who I did like in previous seasons), Nicole F, Kevin and Memphis.
  • I have to cheer on Cody as he's my blog pool match-up pick. Thanks a lot, SueGee.
  • David just seems very expendable. Nice enough guy, shouldn't be on this season of All-Stars.
  • Sundays are usually one of the doldrum days in the house with the yard open, no meetings, comps or ceremonies to be had.
  • Tomorrow will be the PoV ceremony. I don't expect Cody to save either Janelle or Kaysar.
  • Right now, it looks like Janelle would be the one leaving Thursday. If so, that would be the third woman out of the house and no men. It's like the season is setting up for a white Alpha Man win.
  • Again.
  • Sigh.

BB22: Live Feeds Power of Veto Update - August 22

Unfortunately, I remain a bit under the weather still. My apologies.

As for the house happenings, things have gone pretty much as one would expect -- it remains Kaysar and Janelle targeted by the world.

The veto players were Bayleigh, Memphis and Cody in addition to Tyler, Janelle and Kaysar.

The feeds were blocked for the comp and it's been hard to pick up for sure who won. It seems to be Tyler. Wait. Now I'm thinking it might have been Cody. I wish someone was wearing the necklace!

Yes. CODY won the Power of Veto.

BB22: Live Feeds - Nominations - August 21

Can you guess the nominations?

So, we had yet another really lengthy live feeds block, certainly more time than it actually takes. Remember. Enzo and Christmas are safe due to the Safety Suite.

Surprise, surprise! Tyler's nominations for eviction are Janelle and Kaysar.

The Power of Veto will play out sometime tomorrow (Saturday).

BB22: Live Feeds Safety Suite Update - August 21

The final Safety Suite competition played out today. It was blocked to the live feeds and managed to block the feeds for most of the day. They will be blocked later for nominations. Sigh.

Enzo won the Safety Suite and chose Christmas as his Plus One.

Oh, well.

BB22: Live Feeds into Friday - August 21

Are we boring you, Dani?

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of New School Nightmares:

  • So, Tyler is the new HoH.
  • Now, I liked him in his season. But his attitude towards "Old School" players so far this season has turned me off.
  • Y'see, I was old by BB standards when I first started watching the show in Season One twenty years ago.
  • Thus, you can see why he might be a bit off-putting to me.
  • The Have Nots are Bayleigh, Cody, Enzo and Janelle
  • Today will be the last of the Safety Suite comps.
  • With two people getting safety, any real plans for nominations are a bit on hold for now.
  • Sure, some targets for Tyler like Janelle, Kaysar and even Ian can't play in the comp. But, I think they can be Plus One. Maybe Janelle can't because she already was; I don't know.
  • Eligible to compete in the Safety Suite are: Tyler, Memphis, Nicole F and Dani.
  • I'm not sure I want any of them to win it!
  • Tyler thinks his best Plus One might be Enzo. After all, he has no plans to nominate his one real ally, David.
  • Tyler plans on nominating Janelle and Kaysar.
  • Sigh.
  • It would be a hoot if Janelle Trash-Talker Dani wins, flips the script and actually saves her real life friend Janelle.
  • But I don't see that happening.
  • Oh, well.
  • The Safety Suite should play out later today and nominations tonight.
  • So, I expect a lot of blocked live feeds but will update when I find out.
  • I'm not sure they can beat the hours of blocked feeds yesterday. The feeds didn't return until past midnight here, apparently blocked until the West Coast airing ended.
Will Tyler make a big move?

BB22: Eviction Show and HOH Blog Party - August 20

Yes, still an hour earlier than we're used to having the show. And, yes, it's not live once again. It was taped a few hours ago.

If you need a refresher as to which hamster you have in the blog pool, an update is available at this link.

I will be updating this entry with the major events as the show airs here on the East Coast -- refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area. Please feel free to join in on the fun!

Julie is quasi-casual tonight, wearing a red blouse and black slacks.

After the previously on segment, we once again have Julie explaining to us what has happened.

But, first ... no one is aware of the alliances existing in the house. She's got that right! I certainly can't keep them straight. It looks like we're going to have an extended period of Nicole A fruitlessly searching for support. Da'Vonne tells her that she made a personal vow to not vote out anyone who looks like her (Black). She says she isn't friends with David, but that is her reasoning. Hmm ...

Bayleigh thinks that Kaysar is being a bit over zealous as he tries to line up votes to keep Nicole A. Meanwhile, David turns down Da'Vonne's game advice. Will Da'Vonne and Bayleigh stick to the race or gender pull of the nominees?

Kaysar tells Nicole A that it looks like the vote is split. Nicole A is being totally unreasonable with Kaysar and Janelle. They are trying to keep her and she's acting like it's Janelle's fault she's on the block. It's Janelle's fault that Memphis not only nominated her, but failed to save her with the veto.

To the living room not live -- Julie comments on the house looking tense. She also wishes a happy birthday to Dani.

David - Grateful to be here. Nice words to Nicole. Want to be here, want to fight.
Nicole - Advertises her podcast, wants to play all stars, not all scared. Lights into Memphis. (Kind of bitter overall)

The votes to evict:
Tyler - Nicole A
Enzo - David
Christmas - Nicole A
Commercial break ...
Kevin - David
Janelle - Nicole A
Da'Vonne - Nicole A
Kaysar - Nicole A
Bayleigh - Nicole A
Cody - Nicole A
Ian - Nicole
Nicole F - Nicole
Dani - Nicole

Nicole A blew the game this season. She did it to herself. Hugs them all. After all, she loves them all. Julie tells her that Janelle cried over her. I do hope that sinks in. She played the game horribly this season.

HoH time - Mugshot, one at a time, slide mug down counter, land each mug on the highest scoring zone. three mugs, must lock in score.

Cody up first. 4 but one fell.
Enzo 8
David 6
Christmas 8 but not as fast as Enzo
Da'Vonne 7
Kevin 7
Ian Now in the lead
Nicole 9
Dani 4
Tyler 12 takes over lead
Bayleigh 7
Janelle 11
Kaysar does not beat 12

TYLER IS THE NEW HOH!

Julie said LIVE VOTE in the teaser for next week. I predict an endurance comp.

This week's Julie sign-off: If you have the choice between being right and being kind, always choose kind.

Hmm ... I prefer to kindly be right!

BB22: Live Feeds into Thursday - August 20

Janelle "Foil Fingers" Pierzina

REMEMBER - TONIGHT'S SHOW BEGINS AT 8PM ET/PT, NOT 9PM!

I'm a bit under the weather, so this is not only late, but it's rather brief.

  • I'm beginning to think that there might not be any actual "live" evictions this season. Maybe without an audience in the studio, it's easier for them to tape the show a few hours in advance.
  • I doubt tonight's HoH is endurance. They usually use that as the Sunday night show fodder and we have one more week of Safety Suite.
  • That's good (if it is that way) because I don't think I'm up to endurance tonight -- I don't have the right sneakers and gloves.
  • Things remain pretty much the convoluted same in the house since yesterday,
  • Memphis is dead-set against Kaysar even though he neither nominated, nor backdoored him.
  • Nicole F is dead-set against Janelle and was stymied in her efforts to get her backdoored.
  • Janelle and Kaysar remain the Number One (and Two) targets of the entire house even though both have tried working with others.
  • Since neither has won a season, I can only think that their popularity with show fans has affected what the others think of them.
  • Janelle and, to a lesser extent, Kaysar have continuously tried to campaign for Nicole A.
  • Nicole A has bad-mouthed and been rude to Janelle at almost every turn.
  • It seems like Nicole A blames Janelle for Memphis putting her on the block.
  • Say what?
  • Janelle obviously didn't try hard enough to talk him out of it!
  • Nicole has been confronting people and trying to get them to promise her the votes to stay.
  • She got Memphis to give a non-committal grunt and say he will 90% save her if it comes to a tie.
  • I bet he'll go with the 10% which remains.
  • I guess we'll just have to see what happens tonight. I don't think she will be staying. And, with the way she's playing, no loss. I'm disappointed in her this season.

No meltdowns this season ... so far

Janelle and Kaysar are targeted by all

Kevin has fallen for the mandana trend

BB22: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - August 19

Good evening! Are you ready for the second All-Stars Power of Veto comp of the season? No? Um. Well. Tough. Go rustle up some adult beverages and snacks and get back to us.

I'll be updating this entry with the major events as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh this page to get the latest news. As always, the real party is in the comments area. Come join in on the fun!

Previously on and on ...

We pick up after nominations. Memphis thinks Nicole A is "dangerous" because she can still play for safety next week. Both Nicole A and David are understandably upset because Memphis nominated them.

Tyler thinks Memphis is lame and his old school game is outdated. He likes David and wants to work with him. Janelle tries to placate Nicole A -- she adores Nicole and thinks she's trustworthy and loyal. Nicole doesn't seem overly receptive. Kaysar and Janelle talk to Memphis. Again he talks of Nicole not trying for safety this week and thinks he might have been a bit "harsh" on David. Janelle thinks, since Memphis doesn't seem to care who goes home, thinks it's an opportunity for a backdoor.

Janelle suggests Nicole F not realizing that said Nicole has been working her way in with Cody and Memphis and is part of their alliance.

David is trying to pep talk Nicole A because they're friends from last season. Nicole can only think that they have to compete against each other on the block.

A segment on times gone by and parenthood these days with the older hamsters. Nicole F thinks she was meant to be a Mom. Kevin and his husband want to try in vitro, adopt maybe if that doesn't work out.

Memphis reports to Cody and Nicole F about his conversations with Kaysar and Janelle. That makes Cody think they should be targeted. He wants a backdoor. Memphis isn't ready to do that just yet. Cody reports to Christmas and Tyler (their other alliance members) about Janelle and Kaysar naming alliance member names. He wants that backdoor regardless of Memphis.

Veto player pick time -- Memphis randomly draws Ian, Nicole A gets Tyler and David draws Nicole F.

The monitor in the living room announces 'BB All-Star Wars' for Ian's punishment. He has scenes playing Dirk Spacejammer that he needs to act out to audition. Ian has to please the director in his role and then perform all the roles himself.

Nicole F hasn't a clue why Janelle wants her backdoored. Tyler is wondering what's going on with Memphis that he won't target Janelle for a backdoor. If he (Tyler) wins veto, he plans to take David off the block and force a move.

Enzo is hosting the veto comp. The yard is all lit up and it's midnight. Outlast the others -- stand in center of your star and hold your sphere on a disk. Last one standing sphere intact wins.

Nicole A is out first. Then Nicole F. Ian out. David screams to try to throw Memphis off. Oops. David out. Tyler out. MEMPHIS WINS THE POWER OF VETO!

Nicole A cries in the Diary Room. Kevin meets up with her and tries to console her.

Meanwhile, Nicole F is still freaking out that Janelle or Kaysar might talk Memphis into backdooring her. Dani runs to Memphis telling him they'll come after her and him.

Cody thinks that Janelle should be backdoored and tells Memphis so. Memphis tells him of the two, he would prefer to backdoor Kaysar.

Veto meeting time. Dirk Spacejammer performance interrupts. Memphis does NOT use the veto -- David and Nicole remain on the block.

BB22: Live Feeds into Tuesday Evening - August 18

Meow Meow needs a cat nap

What's happening inside the Big Brother House of Discombobulated Doofuses?
  • The alliances are chaos and all over the place.
  • Fan favorites Janelle and Kaysar are Public Enemy Numbers One and Two.
  • Nicole A is on the block and the only two in the house who have tried to get her as an ally -- truthfully WANTING her as an ally -- are being trash talked by Nicole every chance she gets.
  • As a matter of fact, Nicole wanted to call a house meeting to expose them.
  • Huh?
  • I honestly thought she had more game sense than that.
  • We all know how productive house meetings are in the game!
  • Heh.
  • Tyler, perhaps as bored as we have been watching all of this drivel, passively encouraged her to hold the meeting.
  • But then Dani shut it down and told Nicole it wasn't a good idea.
  • As for Dani, I have no clue why she's on the Hate Janelle Train unless she thought she was just boarding the Crazy Train and went off the rails.
  • Janelle is NOT her enemy!
  • Sheesh.
  • Then you have Memphis and Cody talking about what a dangerous player Kaysar is and how his gameplay is really troubling.
  • Um.
  • To be honest, Kaysar hasn't really said much game to them other than to offer to work with them.
  • I'm so confused why these hamsters are playing the game like this! This is not normal!
  • It seems that Nicole knows she'll be going home. Oh, wait ... she thinks she might have enough votes to stay. No. Going home.
  • And, so on.

What am I doing in this handbasket?

Against the only two who want her

Sure, Nicole, call a house meeting

The legend is the enemy of all

BB22: Live Feeds into Tuesday - August 18

Will there be the need for his vote?

What's going on inside that Big Brother House of Waffling Wombats?
  • Actually, not a heck of a lot.
  • That's all.
  • Thank you for stopping by!
  • Oh. You're still there.
  • Well, let's see ...
  • Janelle is still campaigning for votes to keep Nicole A.
  • Nicole A. is still scheming against Janelle and Kaysar. She is reading people so wrong. I don't know what to say.
  • Da'vonne tried to get Memphis to commit to voting to keep Nicole A in the case of a tiebreaker.
  • Race is playing a part in all of this -- at least among the Black people in the cast. Bayleigh and Da'vonne are torn about the vote. In a way, they want to support David in a bit of solidarity. But then they also actually like Nicole A. In the end, they just might cancel each other's vote out. I don't know.
  • Dani is continuing being a Mean Girl. Rats. I really did want to enjoy her on the season.
  • Da'vonne isn't playing a fantastic game. However, her insight into people seems to be back. She thinks Tyler is one to watch.
  • Bayleigh continues with her yoga classes. Both she and Christmas really are good at leading the sessions.
  • David went to Nicole to warn her she won't have the votes to stay. He told her he didn't want to get her hopes up.
  • Hmm.
  • While it's most likely that David will stay over Nicole, I don't think that was appropriate timing, nor quite the right person to bring her that news.
  • It's only Monday. We know how things can change in the house.
  • Plus, I think the warning should come from anybody else ... not the person who's on the block with her!
  • We have two more days of this ahead ...

BB22: Live Feeds PoV Meeting Brief - August 17

Well, how do you think it went? Memphis is the HoH. Memphis nominated two people for eviction. Memphis won the PoV. Will he change his own nominations by using the veto to save one of them?

No.

Of course not.

Nicole A and David remain on the block.

BB22: Live Feeds into Monday - August 17

Kaysar needs to slow down and think

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Hapless Hamsters:

  • Yesterday brought about the reopening of the yard. In the daytime that tends to cut down game talk a bit as they all gather out there.
  • Ian continued to do his "plays" at BB's beck and call. His audience has grown tired. Thankfully, Da'vonne and Bayleigh still try to show some support.
  • Memphis is obviously not trying to win any friends here. He's become bullyish and showing his temper a bit much.
  • That said, I don't think he's ready for any big moves as far as changing the nominations.
  • While Memphis' gameplay doesn't surprise me, Dani's sure is.
  • Now, I realize that she has always had that mean girl streak in her.
  • But I thought she operated with common sense.
  • Janelle told Dani she would never vote her out or nominate her. She TOLD her that.
  • So, what does Dani do? She goes on a campaign bad-mouthing and scheming against Janelle to whomever will listen.
  • Two people I thought problematic in their own seasons have really upped their gameplay -- Bayleigh and Christmas.
  • Don't get me wrong -- Bayleigh's voice makes my ears hurt and Christmas talks way too much.
  • Bayleigh and Da'vonne should make note not to isolate themselves too much. When they are out mingling in the house, they both seem to be working their way in with others.
  • Christmas is being a hit with slop recipes and exercise routines.
  • I like that Bayleigh is working with Janelle.
  • Kaysar is tending to be too much too soon in his actual game talks with people.
  • Nicole A is just sad. So many of the others talked about how the PoV comp was almost made for her to lose. It was more of a man's comp requiring upper-body and arms strength.
  • Huh. Sounds like it was made for Memphis!
  • It seems that, if nominations are not changed, it's likely that Nicole A will go home over David.
  • Part of that is her isolating herself and crying over the nomination.
  • A bigger part seems to be that Memphis doesn't care for her and both Dani and Nicole F have been trash-talking about her all along. Both refused to do Nicole's podcast; Nicole F because she hates the co-host and Dani just because she couldn't be bothered. Both have been mocking her and laughed about ghosting her pre-season.
  • Now, Janelle and Kaysar wanted to work with Nicole A. But Nicole would rather talk about nominating them.
  • Poor choices, just like she made last season.
  • The veto meeting will be sometime today.

Sure she's the one
