BB25: Live Feeds Overnight into Wednesday - Aug. 9

Luke did NOT say that word, did he?

Here's what's been happening in the overnight hours inside that Big Brother House of Nasty Narwhals:

  • Okay, we have what will probably be the first TMZ mention of the season.
  • I am going to go out of order here, bear with me.
  • Luke said the n-word while in the room with Hisam, Cory and Jared.
  • He tried to correct it to "dude" and the feeds quickly went to the Nether Region colonoscopy screen.
  • Hisam and Cory were shocked and pretty much immediately left the room.
  • He used the word as an expression, not really targeting. But that's something white people cannot and should not do. I personally don't like hearing it when black people are referring to each other.
  • How did Jared react?
  • Very graciously.
  • As Luke apologized over and over again, even to the point of saying that he meant to say "narwhal," Jared told him not to worry.
  • Jared told him that white people (like Cory and Hisam) get more offended over that kind of mention than black people.
  • All does seem good with Jared about it ... but the others and the internet might hold a different position.
  • Hisam came back in and seemed over it.
  • Both Hisam and Jared advised Luke to really watch himself, but they did it friendly-like.
  • In other bad news, Cameron continues to browbeat and gaslight Reilly.
  • He has told her he thinks of her as a daughter.
  • He has twice told her that that if they weren't on television, he would hit her.
  • It's like watching a wannabe David Koresh get his start. (If you don't know who that was, look it up.)
  • He has broken Reilly.
  • And Kirsten is broken as well.
  • Cory wants to throw a sympathy vote for Kirsten.
  • Everyone feels sorry for her.
  • But ... Jared has a good point. It's a game and she did it to herself.
  • She thinks (and could be right) that she will be going to the Nether Region and may have a chance to return.
  • Mama Cirie is understanding and consoling to both Reilly and Kirsten.
  • She even told Hisam they need to offer her consolation and understanding.
  • Cirie told him it's the right thing to do; it goes beyond the game.
  • Of course, she will vote out Kirsten in a heartbeat.
  • But Kirsten will leave with only love in her heart for Cirie.
  • In other news, Jag took off his turban for the evening and the Have Nots were able to feast at midnight their time.
  • That's the interesting stuff in a large nutshell.
  • Laters!

This game changes people.

All fun and games until ...

Jag shows up to the party without his turban.

Cameron is toxic for Reilly! Get him away!

She's going to break!

BB25: Live Feeds into Tuesday Evening - Aug. 8

Dreaming of 750K in the hammock.

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Hospitable Hamsters:
  • Tuesdays, like Sundays, are pretty much a nothing day.
  • The hamsters have the yard, no comps are scheduled and the Veto meeting is history.
  • Historically, this is a day of heavy campaigning by the nominees.
  • Not so much today.
  • Felicia has been guaranteed by all that she's safe.
  • Kirsten has noticed that and, while she wants to campaign for herself to stay, knows that campaigning against Felicia would not be a good way to go about it.
  • She plans to tell the others in her speech that if they are on the block with Felicia it means they are the target and going home.
  • So, we need other hamsters for the drama.
  • Hmm.
  • Reilly! Cameron! Izzy! Cory! And sometimes Blue!
  • Perfect!
  • Reilly has been crying to just about everyone. Whatever will she do if she wins HOH and has to make her own nominees?
  • Her latest is that she is seen as a ringleader even though we know it was her pushing the most for a big alliance?
  • It was hilarious to watch Cirie console her and walk away with Reilly absolutely loving her.
  • Such a Cirie thing to do.
  • I guess no one, including super Survivor fan Cory, remember that that is Cirie's own form of mist -- friendship, trust and understanding.
  • We couldn't see the wheels in motion so much on Survivor, but it's so fun to watch it on the feeds now!
  • Jared has been calling Ma Felicia and Ma Cirie by such and no one other than Izzy knows the secret.
  • Then there's Cameron. He wants to jump ship from Reilly's alliance (Family Style) and get aboard Cirie's alliance (The Professors).
  • Izzy thinks he's a snake.
  • And, he is.
  • But he's a snake no one in either alliance is as trusting of now.
  • The way he Cameron-splains the game to Reilly is so annoying.
  • The others just kind of let it go in one ear and out the other.
  • Let's talk Excitable Girl Izzy.
  • She also thinks Red is a snake.
  • She thinks that she's Cirie's right hand gal. I think Cirie will have no issue cutting her when the time is right. The only pesky thing about that is that Izzy knows the secret.
  • But if Izzy keeps getting antsy it won't be long before someone nominates her.
  • Then Cirie will be her best friend until she isn't.
  • Y'see, Cirie doesn't need to win a comp to play the game.
  • Cory is STILL trying to get in on Cirie's circle of buddies.
  • How long will it be until he tells Cirie his brother was on Survivor? He already told Reilly.
  • He talks too much.
  • Then comes Blue. She is dropping dimes on Jared without thinking it through.
  • Jared has really created a Cirie-type bond with Reilly. Things Blue has said about him just don't sit right with her.
  • The Professors -- Cirie, Felicia, Izzy, Hisam, Bowie, Jared, Red, Mecole -- don't keep all in the loop about Jared. And, they have a bit of a growing mistrust of Red because he seems to be getting too close to Cameron.
  • Meanwhile, Family Style is slowly imploding as Cameron and Cody want to jump ship, Blue is saying questionable stuff and we know Jared is a double agent.
  • On a funny note, Cirie was trying to take off her fake nails with a nail clipper and actual shards (as Jared called them) were flying. Jared called for BB to tell her to STOP THAT.
  • BB did so.
  • Laters!

Sorry, but she does look older than 34!

Mecole is playing very well.

Hisam's game knowledge will get him targeted.

Does no one realize Cirie is ALWAYS your friend?

Mad Dog Jared! Ok, toothpaste.

Next out?

BB25: Live Feeds into Monday Evening, Veto Meeting - Aug. 7

The Odd Couple

Good evening. Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Allied Anteaters:
  • Yeah, I have ants on my mind. I'm waiting for the BB ants to show up with an actual exterminator in the house!
  • No, I didn't post right after the end of the veto meeting feeds cut.
  • I figured the entire world knew what would happen.
  • Of course, Hisam didn't use the veto.
  • No one wanted him to ... well, except Kirsten. And even she knew it wouldn't happen.
  • The names of the two big sides of the house have changed.
  • The Reilly group is now Family Style but still includes The Handful and such.
  • The older group, now instead of Bye Bye Bitches, is The Professors.
  • They're going to take Family Style to school!
  • Luke suddenly awakened and realized he should be playing the game.
  • He started talking to everyone like he was the HOH about to make a decision!
  • Jared continues to double agent fairly well.
  • The Handful doesn't have him in with the others at all.
  • As a matter of fact, The Handful still doesn't realize the other side is solidified and organized.
  • Hisam continues counting and memorizing.
  • Felicia, Izzy and Cirie memorized stuff in the Have Not Room today.
  • I don't expect much action until the eviction is over.
  • They all still talk too much and too many at one time!

She's laying low for now.

We don't see much of Bowie Jane.

Mecole's got them cheap sunglasses.

Everybody else already started playing?

BB25: Live Feeds into Monday Morning - Aug. 7

Cory: How do you use an ice cube tray?

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of How Dumb Can Cory Play? --

  • Cory may be playing the dumb act just a bit too much. He goes on about how he's a wee little lad lost in the world.
  • Yes, he really told Red that.
  • Hisam is so onto him.
  • Cory knows Hisam is onto him but what can he do about it?
  • Felicia killed another mic.
  • One was the toilet (I think they have a bidet in there as well this year), then falling in the hot tub, now the toilet again.
  • Now her mic is wrapped in plastic!
  • They had the HOH camera yesterday in addition to having the photo shoot by the show.
  • Izzy is still the Energizer Bunny hopping all over the place.
  • Cirie told her that she needs to calm down.
  • Izzy cried. Izzy laughed. Izzy made me dizzy.
  • Hisam seems to be one of the most shrewd players on the show.
  • He's already memorizing details of the house.
  • While Cory was just "brought in" to the Cirie alliance (BBB), he's also targeted for eviction by both Hisam and Izzy.
  • Meanwhile, Cory is head over heels happy that Cirie likes and trusts him.
  • Heh. That's what Cirie does and he should know that!
  • Red, like a few before him, laid out Reilly's alliance (The Handful) directly to Reilly.
  • Oh, my.
  • Reilly came to the realization that people can see and hear!
  • She went on a crying jag to Jag. Oh, and Matt.
  • She told them she is being bombarded by all, hasn't had a chance to listen to her music.
  • Hey, there is no rule HOH HAS to stay in the HOH Room 24/7.
  • It looks like the plan remains the same -- Hisam will not use the Veto today and Felicia/Kirsten remain on the block.
  • Kirsten will probably try to befriend everyone more but has said she doesn't want to campaign against Felicia.
  • And the beat goes on ...

Red lists Reilly's alliance to her.

They want to target each other.

Hisam adds a lot to the team.

Thankfully he has swim shorts on.

Killer ... of microphones.

BB25: HOH and Nominations Show Blog Party - Aug. 6

Come one, come all! It's time to watch the HOH comp, find out what the HOH will do this week and what's going on with nominations since the show itself already put four on the block and, last but not least, where did Cory go? The Nether Region sounds like a not too pretty place to be!

I will be updating this entry as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh your page to get the latest updates! As always, the real party is in the comments section. Please feel free to join in on the fun!

We start off with a recap. Yawnsers! Okay, they're entering the house to find Cirie. No, they won't be telling people. Izzy pulls Jared aside. She knows who he is from Cirie's social media. Izzy promises to keep it secret.

They're checking out the rooms. The Scary Room, Scrambled Room, etc. Jag and Reilly have already clicked. Red and Cameron talk. Cameron refers to himself as the Space Cowboy. Mecole thinks that Red and Cameron are hilarious.

Cirie meets up with Izzy and Jared in the storage room. Cirie tells us that she will make Izzy totally trust her.

They have all gathered to introduce themselves. OOHH! The ScaryVerse room has Cory reenter the house. He has a message. "Thankfully Cory was only there a short time, one of you won't be so lucky next week." The introductions continue.

They get a message from the HumiliVerse asking for volunteers for Have Not. Luke, Cory, Jared and Hiram volunteer. They have to spin the dial to find out how many times their butt gets kicked to leave.

Cirie is already advising Jared on gameplay. She's in tears talking to us about him.

Early alliances (or not) are forming. Luke, Reilly, Jared, Matt and Kirsten become the Phalynx Five Alliance. Cirie bonds with Kirsten. Cirie tells us her main goal is to stay in the house day to day. While Kirsten bonds with Cirie, Jared tells her he doesn't trust Kirsten. Felicia talks to Cirie Then Felicia talks to us telling pointing out that Kirsten is just trying to save herself, doesn't care about her or Cirie.

Finally, comp time. The four nominees -- Cory, Felicia, Jared and Kirsten -- have to sit out the comp. The HOH will take two nominees off the block. Balance beam course to button avoiding swinging obstacles. "Crash Course in Comics" is the name. They are called one by one with the rest downstairs and not being able to watch.

Blue is first and gets bonked by a Pow graphic sign. 1.36 is her time. Cameron is next. He tells us he doesn't want to win. 53.11. Red is up next. 50.56. America's turn. Ran out of time. Hisam up - 22.49. Bowie Jane - out of time. Reilly - 16.03. Izzy out of time, Cirie too, Luke, Matt, Mecole, Jag throws it.

Reilly is HOH!

Reilly thinks that the two people she takes off the block may be good for her game in the long run. Felicia throws Kirsten under the bus to her. Then Jared does, too. He tells her if she helps her she will also end up with Cirie and Felicia. Cirie talks to her about Kirsten being a loose cannon.

She tells Cirie that Kirsten is her target and she needs a pawn of one of the other two. Cirie tells Reilly she thinks Jared is a good kid. Cory also talks to Reilly.

Nomination Ceremony time! Reilly takes off Jared first, then takes off Cory. That leaves Kirsten and Felicia remain on the block. Reilly thinks highly off both and says the decision was difficult, wishes them well with Veto.

Kirsten cries, feels betrayed. Reilly tells us her target is Kirsten. Felicia tells us she's devastated but promises us they won't be saying "Bye, Felicia" on eviction night.

BB25: Live Feeds into Sunday Afternoon - Aug. 6

Hey women, we're single!

Good afternoon! I've been having intermittent internet outages here, not sure what's happening. Yes, the bill is paid! I just hope it doesn't go out when I'm trying to live blog the show later this evening.

Here's what's been happening inside that Big Brother House of Talkative Terrapins:

  • The backyard was opened to them at about 11pm their time last night. Mind you, that's 2am my time!
  • They were told not to go into the hot tub because it wasn't ready yet.
  • Well, thankfully it had water in it as Felicia pretty promptly fell in it.
  • That's at least the second mic I've seen her drown and I believe there was another. She dropped one in the toilet by mistake.
  • This hot tub mic actually made cool gurgling sounds as it drowned.
  • Once the backyard opened, a lot of the game talk cooled as it's all too public.
  • Hisam is opening up more to people than he did in his first few days.
  • He's very good with talking to people who are upset. Knowing that he's a psychiatrist you can definitely see it in use.
  • Cirie is talking to him a lot more. I can see that she's paying more attention to his observations than she is to Izzy's.
  • After all, Izzy is an excitable girl.
  • Today was the cast photo shoot with the feeds shut down.
  • I like how they warned them last night about it and told them to shower.
  • Like they had to be told?
  • I will like it when there are fewer in the house and everyone doesn't talk at once.
  • Right now you can be listening to two talk and the background noise from the others makes it hard to hear.
  • Oh, well ... nothing all that much is happening. Kirsten is trying to save her butt we know that's not going to happen.

Mecole is NOT available, recently married.

I honestly thought those curlers were in the past

Has a girlfriend. How, I don't know.

America is quieter than most. Hmm.

Luke does not manscape.

Sharp dressed man in cheap sunglasses.

BB25: Live Feeds into Saturday Night - Aug. 5

Start trying to make friends ... check!

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Dastardly Ducks:
  • Rats ... no fisticuffs. No brouhahas. Not even a kerfuffle.
  • After she came out of her initial upset about losing the PoV, Kirsten has been trying to fit in better.
  • Too late, of course.
  • However, the others were nice giving her pep talks and such.
  • Reilly had a long talk with her advising her to campaign and get closer with others.
  • Of course, Reilly also talked to Felicia and Cirie (and separately to many others) about how Felicia's definitely safe this week.
  • Although Hisam didn't tell Kirsten and felt so bad she cried at the Veto comp that he hasn't worn the necklace at all, he won't be using it.
  • Jared is now officially adopted into Reilly's Eight.
  • He's still their most expendable, though.
  • Izzy has been going a bit bonkers. She's saying stuff I can't back up on the live feeds -- that Cory knows Jared is Cirie's son, that Reilly was throwing the PoV comp, that Reilly planned on backdooring Cirie.
  • Sorry, I'm not seeing any of that stuff on the feeds.
  • As a matter of fact, tonight Jared and Cory talked about Cirie. Cory told Jared what a fantastic Survivor player she was and how strong her game skills except comps are. Jared acted like it was news to him.
  • Izzy is campaigning that they draw Cory into Cirie's group.
  • Hisam dislikes Cory and, had he pronounced Cory's last name right talking about him to Cirie, she might have caught onto the Survivor connection.
  • Cameron told Reilly they have nothing to worry about because they have a solid eight while the rest of the house is broken down to two and three people alliances.
  • Little does he know.
  • Cameron is a bit suspicious because both Izzy and Hisam talked to him at length today, the first time since they entered the house.
  • Tomorrow should be fairly quiet.
  • That is, until the show.
  • While we know the HOH and some of the material we will see on the show, we need to find out more about the Nether Region (ew!).
  • Cory has been forbidden by BB to talk about it.
  • He did make one slip up saying it might be where evicted ones sequester to reenter the show in a comp.
  • BB cut the feeds quickly on that speculation.
  • And, I should add, it was just speculation on Cory's part.
  • Laters!

Felicia doesn't need to campaign.

Reilly assures that Felicia is good.

I think she could be called Tall Tale Izzy

Cirie needs to know Izzy is a bit extra.

Get that necklace OFF the mic!

Scared of being targeted next week.

BB25: Power of Veto Winner Bulletin - Aug. 5

And ... we finally have a winner after a really long, long live feeds block!

We did see cute adoptable pets

HISAM WON THE POWER OF VETO!

He set the veto necklace on a dresser. If he puts it on I will get a screen cap for you here and update.

He told Cory he didn't know what to do with it as he set it down. Cory told him to wear it ... but he's not. He said he feels bad because someone cried. I'm guessing that would be Kirsten but that's just my guess.

BB25: Live Feeds into Saturday Pre-Veto - Aug. 5

ZZ Top with cheap sunglasses

Good afternoon! We have some pre-Veto buzz going on in the house, including the Veto player picks. So, let's get to what's been happening inside that Big Brother House of Loquacious Losers:
  • Okay, they aren't losers. I'm thinking this is one of the better casts we've seen.
  • The house split is in full motion even though they've been in the house for just a few days.
  • Reilly's group, The Handful, definitely has Blue although Blue initially gravitated towards Cirie and her buddies.
  • But Cirie's group, the Bye-Bye Bitches (thanks, Janelle), has drawn in Hisam while Reilly considers him a possible ally.
  • Blue may have put a target on Hisam, though.
  • In a conversation with her, he said he thinks the heterosexual white males are in an alliance.
  • He did say it and when Felicia was telling Cirie about it, the feeds cut.
  • But Blue told Cory about it. Uh-oh.
  • Cirie told Hisam they should pull Luke and Red into their group so they have the numbers. (Cirie already has Red.)
  • Cirie was iffy when Hisam mentioned that he thought Jared was part of the Reilly group. She said she thinks he's bottom of the totem pole there.
  • The Handful is considering pulling Jared in.
  • If he gets in on both groups, will he be adaptive enough to pull an Ian playing both sides? My jury is out on that.
  • But if he follows Cirie's advice, he might be capable. She has been advising him whenever she sees him doing something that isn't good for his game.
  • The Cirie/Jared connection is still only known by Izzy.
  • The Handful doesn't realize that Cirie's group has solidified. They think several are still independent free agents or just in mini-alliances.
  • But Cirie knows their group has solidified. She's like that. She is super observant and people talk to her. That's how she did so well on Survivor.
  • Reilly said that she's talked to everybody and their mother.
  • She doesn't know how right she is!
  • Heh.
  • The feeds were cut for the Veto player picks.
  • When they returned -- Reilly, Felicia and Kirsten (of course) with Hisam, Blue and Bowie with Cirie hosting.
  • Hisam apparently wasn't a Houseguest Choice pick.
  • I doubt anyone winning except Felicia or Kirsten will change the nominations.
  • Kirsten would HAVE to save herself and she knows it.
  • Felicia already told Cirie she would have to save herself just because it would be dumb not to do so.
  • Right now the feeds are down for the Veto comp. When they return and I see who has the necklace, I'll post a bulletin and then an update on the aftermath this evening.
  • Laters!

Blue has loose lips about Hisam

Cirie tells Hisam they need Luke

Doesn't know Jared is in the alliance

I predict a pre-jury eviction for Cory

Still wearing a funky hairdo

BB25: Live Feeds into Saturday Morning - Aug. 5

Bowie Jane, Jag and Blue pizza dancing

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Awake Animals:

  • This crew stays up WAY too late.
  • Well, at least most of them, that is.
  • Despite BB telling them that they would be awakening them at 7:30am Saturday, half the house is still awake as I write this ... going on 4am their time.
  • Jag had tried to go to bed. Not long after he fell asleep, they called him to the Diary Room. After that he ended up wide awake.
  • I know that feeling. If I'm unexpectedly awakened, that's it for sleep!
  • Who is the crew still up?
  • Why, Reilly's crew, of course.
  • They don't want to be seen as a group/alliance of eight yet stay up and talk loudly in the HOH room.
  • Go figure.
  • Reilly said that she talked with Hisam, who doesn't seem close to anyone, and asked him if she could choose him if she got Houseguest Choice in the Veto pick.
  • She plans to run it by him again before the pick.
  • She says (not to Hisam) that she wants to pick him so that he thinks she trusts him.
  • She doesn't trust him but figures anyone up against Kirsten would be safe or that he wouldn't change the noms if asked not to do so.
  • Most of the Eight think that Luke is just playing dumb about the game.
  • He told Cory he didn't realize he was on the block.
  • He asked what a backdoor was.
  • One, I think it was Luke, but maybe Matt, thought they were saying Dairy Room not Diary Room.
  • One thing Luke said when a bunch were talking about people lying about their jobs -- they realize they have a lot of really smart fellow hamsters and think there are doctors and lawyers -- is that Hisam might be a doctor.
  • Heh. Hisam IS a doctor, but no one thinks he is.
  • Now they think Luke is a doctor.
  • He is not.
  • Kisten talked to America -- us, not the hamster -- wondering what she did wrong.
  • Cirie, in her great friends kind of way, talked to Kirsten about why she seems to be in trouble -- gaming too fast, etc.
  • She advised Kirsten to tone down her gameplay.
  • She also told Kirsten that EVERYONE had issues with her.
  • Oh my. I'd be heading out that back door of the Diary Room if I thought EVERYONE was against me!
  • There were no kerfuffles, fisticuffs or brouhahas resulting from Kirsten being nominated.
  • Earlier in the day, most of the hamsters had a spa day event.
  • Guys ended up with painted nails.
  • Cameron and Matt ended up with Mickey Mouse hairdos which look ridiculous on anyone other than a small child.
  • Matt took his out. But as I type this up, Cameron still has his.
  • Blue did a face massage on Felicia who absolutely loved it.
  • Jared has taken to wearing a bandana on his head tied at the chin like an old lady's scarf. It looks as ridiculous as Cameron's mouse ears hairdo.
  • Nothing all that earth shattering went down since my last post.
  • But the Power of Veto comp is today.
  • That should be interesting. Not that we will actually see it on the feeds, mind you. But we see the aftermath.
  • Since rumors are rampant on the internet, I feel I should mention that the rumor about an 18th hamster and no eviction this week were started by a "spoiler" person who is wrong more often than right. I honestly doubt it and, if folks bring it up in the comments, I will probably refute it. I pride myself on posting only things I actually see on the feeds or have from valid sources. The comments here are a reflection of the content on the blog. If you feel the need to post a rumor or speculation, label it as such. Please.
  • Laters!
Kirsten talks to America. Us. Not the hamster.

Matt's hair after the "spa."

Cirie and Izzy compare notes.

Cameron kept the do. Ew.

Hisam has a twin on BB! Oh, a mirror.
