BB25: Live Feeds into Tuesday Evening - Aug. 15

Is it a throuple?

Before we get started, I'd like to mention that I've been putting tons of hours so far into this season's coverage plus I still have ongoing medical issues and bills from my hospital and nursing home stays last year. I do have a Buy Me a Coffee and PayPal donations links on the sidebar. If you would be so kind, it would definitely be appreciated. Merci!

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of It's Not Even Waffle Wednesday:
  • Okay, it's only Tuesday.
  • A lot has changed since yesterday.
  • A lot could change by Thursday.
  • However, at this moment in time, Cirie is (as is her thang) changing the tide.
  • It turns out that Hisam had a meeting with Jag and Blue. They formed a new alliance.
  • This is without Hisam knowing what we all know about the plan to flip.
  • When Cirie asked Jag about it, she asked if they had a name for the alliance.
  • Jag said Hisam said they needed one.'
  • Cirie is really irked that Hisam's new plans don't include her, Izzy or Felicia.
  • Hisam went and told only Mecole about the new alliance, not Cirie or Felicia or anyone else in their alliance.
  • Oh my. He claimed it was because they're Professors.
  • Hmm.
  • Izzy, Cirie, Matt and Reilly met up.
  • Izzy claims it's better to work with sloppy (Reilly) than it is to work with unhinged (Hisam).
  • Well, we know Izzy knows sloppy and unhinged! She wrote the book on it.
  • Of course, Izzy didn't say that to Matt and Reilly.
  • The four agreed to work together with Reilly supposed to be still acting like she's desperate and expecting to leave.
  • No one is letting Red in on the new boot Cameron plan as he is closest to Cameron.
  • They are working on wanting his vote to be the only one to keep Cameron.
  • Or, letting him know last minute for a unanimous blindside.
  • I don't care for unanimous house votes. But I certainly do like a good blindside!
  • After they spoke to Mecole, she's still not jumping for joy about the plan but wants to vote with the majority.
  • I'm sure the maths still aren't really mathing for her. But maybe it's more calculusing.
  • Bowie wasn't initially in the plan. But since told, she will go along with it.
  • Jared and Cory don't seem totally in on it.
  • But Jared will do Mom's bidding and Cory will follow.
  • Jared did tell Izzy that Jag and Blue are playing them.
  • But we know Moms.
  • Cory seems to be of the mind of "as long as it's not me."
  • He doesn't like Cameron anyway although he's a bit leery of Reilly's crew. He will vote with the majority.
  • Meanwhile, while looking at the Memory Wall, a comment was made by Jared to Felicia about how much he looks like her -- cheekbones, dimples. Felicia said looks like she could be his mother.
  • Bwahaha! Then Denzel must be his uncle!
  • Cirie told Izzy that if they do end up having a meeting with Hisam, she (Izzy) needs to take a seat and let her (Cirie) do the talking.
  • Also, there's a pneumatic tube thing going on with four message deliveries today.
  • I don't understand that one.
  • One message was Cirie #17, one was about the HumiliVerse, two about the Nether Region.
  • Hmm. Don't ask me. My crystal ball says UNCLEAR.
  • So, right now the plan is Reilly stays, Cameron goes and we will have a SHOW to see Thursday!
  • That is, unless it changes tomorrow.
  • Laters!

Incognito couple?

Trying to channel his inner Ian.

Maths not mathing or are they?

Interesting camera angle for sure.

Thinks she has America's Vote!

BB25: Live Feeds into Tuesday Morning - Aug. 15

What? Izzy lost her animation? Nah, never.

Good morning! What's been happening inside that Big Brother House of Flipflopping Foolishness?

Well, I don't normally do this, but this might explain things in a nutshell --
  • It's basically been a night of flipflopping with Izzy and Cirie.
  • One minute they go with the idea of voting out Reilly, the next they want Cameron out.
  • Apparently Hisam's veto speech was bad enough that the whole house -- both sides -- want him out sooner rather than later.
  • Most are thinking that chance is next week as he cannot compete for HOH this week.
  • Hisam himself must think he crossed a line as he has been apologizing to everyone.
  • Cory has been fueling the Get Cameron Out bit by telling Cirie and Izzy that Hisam mentioned their names.
  • Cory thinks he has a final two with Jared.
  • We all know Jared's final two.
  • Mecole has turned time alone in the storage room into live feeds gold as she rants in there.
  • She thinks Izzy and Cirie are playing emotionally.
  • And yes, they are indeed.
  • I can't help but think Cirie is wiser than to believe that if they keep Reilly and Reilly and her minions get Hisam out next week, they aren't going to turn on their side.
  • Sure, I do think if Reilly had her way, Cirie and Felicia would be the last of that side picked off, but ...!
  • Meanwhile, as creepy as Cameron can be, he is a number for their side. I think Red can keep him in line.
  • Oh, I don't know.
  • It's chaos.

Gotta love Jag's color coordinating turbans.

These are not normal people.

Cirie tells Matt everyone loves him.

BB25: Live Feeds Power of Veto Meeting Over - Aug. 14

It was a tense time ...

Here's what's been happening inside that Big Brother House of Blasting Adoptable Pets Feed Block Music:

  • Yeah, turn that stuff DOWN, BB Production!
  • The Veto Meeting was held today, blocked to the live feeds, of course.
  • And with deafening blaring theme music.
  • It went down result-wise as expected -- Hisam did not use the veto and Cameron/Reilly remain on the block.
  • What most didn't expect, nor did it go over well, was that Hisam apparently was needlessly cruel in his speech declaring Reilly the target.
  • Cirie feels that he kicked Reilly while she was already down.
  • With the exception of Cameron, all seemed a bit set aback by Hisam's harsh treatment of Reilly.
  • That just makes the target on Hisam, even from his own alliance, that much bigger.
  • I do think most, perhaps everyone except Matt, will cave in and vote out Reilly.
  • Sure, NOW Hisam apologizes to her and tells her that it was never his intent to be unkind. @@
  • I personally would rather Reilly stay over Cameron.
  • But they don't ask me what to do!

On his hair alone, I would vote him out.

Reading the Bible

He thinks they can't do without him.

BB25: Live Feeds Sunday into Monday - Aug. 14

How would he play on his own?

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Long Feed Blocks:

  • The mess continues to get messier.
  • Jared thinks Cirie is playing too hard and fast. After all, Survivor would be half over by now yet BB has just started.
  • Cirie went into a deal with Jag and Reilly.
  • Or she didn't.
  • Hisam's game of "integrity, inclusivity and trust" is rubbing his own people the wrong way.
  • Like Reilly before him, he has developed a severe case of HOHitis.
  • Izzy, not one to want to "obey" any man, is really irked at him. She feels he is using his principles as a weapon.
  • She thinks he doesn't even give Mecole or Bowie a moment to talk before shutting them down.
  • No respect!
  • Jag and Reilly tried to make a deal with the devil, er ... Cirie
  • Actually, Cirie would prefer Reilly stay over Cameron. But if voting to keep her will put her in a spot, nope.
  • The Professors had a party with Hisam's HOH wine -- the first alcohol imbibing I've seen this season.
  • Hisam is so good at judging other people that he should realize the tide is changing in the way they are thinking of him.
  • Jared thinks it's too soon for Cirie to target Hisam. They have a lot of days left to play and he will be a larger target than them.
  • Jared, on a personal level, is worried about Matt and how Matt pretty much only talks to Reilly and Jag.
  • Cory talked to us.
  • Or to himself.
  • He is really clicking with Jared but feels it would be dangerous for Jared to go to the end -- he's too good a player.
  • Cory still doesn't see the family resemblance between Jared and Cirie.
  • While the Reilly side of the house has definitely imploded, I see cracks appearing on the Professor side.
  • No one else went to the Nether Region after Bowie returned.
  • We don't know what consequences Bowie has.
  • Jared and Cory call others "bro" and "dude" too much regardless of gender.
  • Yeah, that last one is my personal irk.
  • Anyway, it still looks like Hisam will not use the veto and that Reilly will be out the door on Thursday.
  • Veto Meeting later today.
  • Laters!
On a side note -- I'm so old. (How old are you?) I'm so old that I recognized the houses in last night's episode. The one on the left was the set of the last Douglas family home in My Three Sons. So the BB hamsters never made it off the lot.

What if you gave a party and no one had fun?

Sitting in a corner talking to himself.

Wants Character of the Season award.

Has friend updating her Instagram with daily outfits.

Always watching and listening.

What did she bring back from the Nether Region?

Making a deal with the devil?

BB25: HOH Competition Show Blog Party - Aug. 13

BB IS DELAYED ON THE EAST COAST. RIGHT NOW IT IS 7:55PM EDT AND GOLF IS STILL ON. AFTER GOLF, WE WILL HAVE TO SIT THROUGH 60 MINUTES. I WILL UPDATE WHEN I KNOW THE TIME THE SHOW WILL START.

UPDATE: 60 MINUTES STARTED AT 8:13PM EDT. EXPECT BB25 AT 9:13PM EDT.

Whoa! So much has happened on the live feeds (except for really long blockages) that I have forgotten where the show is at! But it's all coming back to me now ...

I will be live-blogging, constantly updating this post as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get the latest news! The real party is in the comments area -- I hope to see you there!

But first ... this is the third and final version of our blog pool. When Luke got the boot, his blog folks were reassigned. At least one was reassigned to Kirsten who went out immediately after. So, in the interest of fairness to all, those assigned to Kirsten have been reassigned. From this point forward, when your hamster is out, you are out of the pool. Well, you can hang out at the pool, but ...!

Let's go! Okay, it's now 9:11PM EDT and 60 Minutes has ended. Bring on BB!

We begin with the traditional recap going over the many alliances and happenings.

Where did the houseguests go? We will find out tonight. Day 09 has them in a neighborhood in the Nether Region of the ScaryVerse. One will become HOH, one will be left behind in the Nether Region. Reilly cannot play. She can escape now or remain for eternity there.

The NetherGorgon will attack different areas but give them clues where they can be safe. There are limited spaces to hide in each spot. If he attacks "your" area, you are eliminated.

It's safe to be where crows number more than three, ax, doll with no left arm. (Odd clues indeed.) Blue is out, along with Mecole and Cameron. There were not enough crows on the porch to protect them.

Clues: Keep out sign, seven candles, rats and spiders. Those are the safe area. Jag out. America out. Cirie and Izzy out.

Clues: Any zone six bones, doll with a backwards head, ten links in one chain. Cory out (he threw it), Felicia out, Red out. Bowie Jane out. Down to just Hisam and Jared in it.

Clues: Two doors, search Nether Region for three carvings which lead them to the door. The first to the right door transported to HOH room, loser remains in Nether Region. Jared picks a door first and Hisam has to go to the other one. Hisam's door opens, Jared is stuck there! The carvings all together read "Don't choose the door that starts with 4." Jared had chosen 486 because he was missing a clue and knew 4 was a clue, just not that he wasn't supposed to choose it!

Now Jared is on the screen from the Nether Region. Cirie is worried. Hisam is the new HOH.

So, now the show suggests a showmance with Matt and Reilly. Can't they go until one actually develops? Reilly's crew knows it's a house divided and they will likely lose someone.

Jared is on the screen again. He doesn't say much of what's going on.

Hisam tells Felicia that Reilly is a target because she mentioned taking him out. He had confronted her, and she admitted it. Felicia said if Reilly goes that whole side will crumble. Hisam talks to Matt. He tells him he knows there is a name for their alliance and Matt denies it. Matt is on the spot and not being all that honest with Hisam.

The ScaryVerse ball is glowing and Jared is back from the Nether Region. They get a clue. Cameron reads the others will be sent to the Nether Region, could be good or bad. Jared has to choose one to send -- that person will be safe from nominations as he/she will not be there. He talks to Hisam who tells him not to send Matt, Reilly or Cameron. He talks to all and is torn. Cirie suggests Jag. Reilly confronts him and begs him to save her.

The Nethergorgon wants the next soul. Jared chooses Jag. Reilly looks upset. She tells us it doesn't make sense that he didn't guarantee her safety. Jag tells us he doesn't know either.

Hisam talks to Izzy and Cirie, tells them that Reilly is his target. Does he put up Cameron or Matt with her? Both women suggest Cameron. Hisam goes on to let Cameron know he may go on the block with Reilly but that she would be the target.

Nominations Ceremony time. Jag shows on the screen. Hisam nominates Reilly, then Cameron. Hisam tells them he is playing with integrity and purpose. Jared feels bad.

BB25: Veto Comp is FINALLY Over! - Aug. 13

Is it the cast of That '70s Show?

Here's a rather brief update of Veto Comp Day House Happenings:

  • The Veto players picks were done.
  • We have Hisam, Reilly and Cameron plus Matt, Blue and America.
  • From what they have said -- Hisam and Cameron both got Houseguest Choice chips.
  • Hisam chose Matt (to put that loyalty to the test, I guess) and, to everyone's surprise in the house, Cameron chose Blue. They all thought he would choose Red.
  • I could make a political joke about that, but I won't.
  • Jag is safe from nomination because of his Nether Region trip but seems to have lost his vote.
  • Not sure what will befall Jared and Bowie Jane as consequences for their Nether Region trips.
  • I haven't seen Bowie Jane return as of pre-comp.
  • The ScrambleVerse light is on in the house.
  • America told Reilly who told Blue and Jag that Hisam said they have nothing without Reilly. Now, that was just after she agreed to work with Hisam. Okaaay. I don't think that was what he meant by work with him!
  • The feeds went down long ago for the comp. I'm just waiting on a winner here.
  • And waiting.
  • And waiting.
  • The feeds went down around 5:20ish PM my time (EDT).
  • I gave up and went to bed thinking the hamsters will surely be sleeping when the feeds return.
  • I had the live feeds open with the theme music playing figuring I would wake up when I heard voices.
  • Nope.
  • While I will say I wasn't in bed a full night worth, the live feeds are STILL down at going for 11AM here on the east coast!
  • 12:18PM ET at the feeds return. Then go away again.
  • We had Hisam and Felicia talking about the Nether Region.
  • They obviously had gone to bed and now were awake.
  • Jag is talking to Reilly and Matt about working from now on with Cirie, Felicia and Izzy to flip the house.
  • Hmm.
  • Bowie is back. The yard is open.
  • Hisam won the veto.
The return of the live feeds ... after 18 hours.

Has he changed his secondary target?

When you're Blue ... putting on the Ritz?

BB25: Live Feeds Still Down Bulletin - Aug. 13

I am not ignoring you. The live feeds went down for the Veto competition yesterday at around 5:20PM ET and are still down as I post this around 10:30AM ET.

BB25: Live Feeds into Saturday Morning - Aug. 12

How is Cameron seeing Denzel Washington?

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Adoptable Animals:
  • Cameron was telling Jared (of all people) he's sure that Felicia is Denzel Washington's sister -- the looks, the mannerisms, a dead ringer for Denzel!
  • Bwahaha!
  • To me, her only likeness to Denzel might be skin tone. Even there, it's not a match.
  • And, he was saying this to Jared -- who actually looks so much like his mother -- and Cirie is right in the house with them!
  • Cameron did make one right observation about Cirie, though. He recognized her as being on the show Traitors. I don't watch that one. He didn't seem to know she won that show, though.
  • And Cirie didn't tell him.
  • Jag returned from his Nether Region trip and he sent Bowie Jane there.
  • Due to his time gone, he was safe from being nominated.
  • But we know from Hisam's talk with him, he was safe anyway even though Jared sent him there supposedly for his safety.
  • Apparently, the ones going there are forbidden to talk anything real about it.
  • Jag told stories of a gorgon chasing him. Yeah, right.
  • I personally think the Nether Region is a room off that hallway to the Have Not Room.
  • I could be wrong.
  • Jag seems to think there will be some sort of consequence for his safety from being nominated. Hmm.
  • Upon his return, Jag and Blue made Jag's second final two pact. He made one days ago with Reilly.
  • Jumping a sinking ship? Maybe.
  • Cirie would still rather Cameron go. Hmm ... she usually gets her way. We will see.
  • Reilly is in a spot. So far, she isn't crying as much as during her HOH reign.
  • She feels if she wins veto, Matt will be put up in her place.
  • She doesn't seem to realize what most of us know -- if the noms become Matt and Cameron, Cameron would go.
  • Jared and Hisam talked a lot about the HOH comp. It does sound like it's going to be fun to watch tomorrow night.
  • Jared only lost right at the end when he chose the wrong door.
  • It's just as good that he lost. An HOH win for Jared would have him showing his cards.
  • The POV comp will be held today.
  • When I know, you'll know.
  • Laters!

"Dude, I swear she's Denzel's sister!"

How I feel watching the live feeds.

Scared Matt will go if the veto is used.

Jag now has a second final two pact.

America is playing rather quietly.

BB25: Live Feeds, Nominations - Aug. 11

They finally have the Memory Wall

This is going to be short and maybe not so sweet. Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Hamster Hisam HOH:

  • As he all but blatantly told them, Hisam nominated Reilly and Cameron for eviction.
  • He is right now telling Jared that if Reilly wins HOH, he will replace her with Matt. Cameron would be the secondary target.
  • With Cameron, Hisam told him he was thinking of putting him up as a pawn with Reilly.
  • With his Reilly interrogation -- which was some sort of mix between therapist and Wicklander-Zulawski interview techniques (which I am actually certified in but that's another story) -- Hisam pretty much told her he was going to probably nominate her.
  • He told her to win the veto and they can move forward and work together.
  • Matt promised Hisam that if he wins veto he will not use it to save Reilly.
  • And there they are.
  • In other news, the Memory Wall showed up during a feeds block. Luke isn't on it at all, Kirsten is greyed-out and Jared/Cirie are featured apart from each other.
  • Jared returned from the Nether Region and chose to save Jag from nomination by sending him there.
  • Can I rest now?

Reilly and Hisam hug after he said she's his target.

BB25: Interrogations Continue, Jared Back - Aug. 11

The feeds returned. It was NOT Nominations.

  • Jared returned to the house. That apparently is the big feeds block.
  • Hisam is talking to Mecole now, one of his allies.
  • Hisam has NOT interrogated ... er ... talked to Reilly yet.
  • But now Jag is gone to the Nether Region and cannot be nominated.

BB25: Live Feeds into Friday Afternoon - Aug. 11

His alliance and the show vs. his deafness ...

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Whirling Dervishes:
  • First, let me explain the caption in Matt's screencap --
  • The show made no effort to handle Matt's deafness in the Diary Room after voting last night. There is no video screen in there, only a mic. They should have set up a light to flash ... something, anything ... to let him know to leave.
  • Also production related: When Jared appeared on the screen from the Nether Region, Matt couldn't hear what he was saying. Heck, I had to replay it with my headphones full blast to hear it.
  • Then there's his own alliance. Last night they kept whispering in groups. He TOLD them he can't hear what's going on. No way can he read many lips at once in a group of five all talking at once! Did they stop? Nope. They all kept whispering at the same time.
  • What were they whispering about?
  • Well, the Handful -- Reilly, Jag, Matt, Blue and Cameron (double agent?) -- led by Reilly (again) were talking about throwing Cory and America under the bus, sacrificing their larger Family Style members to further themselves in the game.
  • They want to steer Hisam towards nominating those two but being subtle about it, not blatantly suggesting it.
  • Meanwhile, Hisam is really wanting to target Reilly as Reilly talked about putting Izzy and him on the block.
  • She even admitted it to him.
  • So, he knows for sure.
  • In other news, Izzy got all Izzied-out over Cameron telling her where to sit in the HOH room.
  • Red said something to her about sitting and she went off on an angry crying jag -- not to be confused with BB25 Jag.
  • But, later ... after being consoled by Mecole, Hisam, Blue, Cirie and whoever else, Red went to talk to her.
  • I actually like Red a lot more after their talk. He seemed very sincere with her and I think she feels that way, too.
  • But she still hates Cameron even though Felicia told her hate is not something to feel.
  • So, she has decided to say she WANTS to hate Cameron.
  • When Reilly was talking to Matt about Cirie and Felicia and how Jared thought of them, she said, "Jared is like their son."
  • Heh.
  • Apparently, no one other than Kirsten picked up on the nickname slip by Jared. She didn't pick up on it until Julie told her mother/son.
  • While Hisam really wants Reilly out, Cirie is more mistrustful regarding Cameron.
  • When Jared appeared on the screen from the "Nether Region" he really didn't reveal much. He said they wouldn't let him sleep. Felicia asked if they fed him. It was more small talk than anything else. He said he would appear again but nothing on when he will get out or what he's actually doing there.
  • The screen later turned on to Nominations Today, putting Hisam in a rush to get his one-on-one conversations done.
  • Oh my! What one on ones he has! Direct and asking just about everything except their credit scores. He tells them what he's heard without naming names, he's getting them to expose their alliances and more.
  • Best interrogations ... er ... one on ones that I've ever seen!
  • So far, I think (although he isn't Hisam's main target), Matt is lying the most to him. And Hisam knows it. He's trying to steer Matt away from Reilly as much as possible. Hisam blatantly tells him that Reilly is the only one who has mentioned his name and she's the one he wants out. Matt says he won't tell her and that will show his trust.
  • Hisam is doing all the Family Style folks first.
  • When talking with Cameron he mentioned the possibility of putting Cameron on the block with Reilly with Reilly the target.
  • On the other hand, Cirie is giving advice to Reilly about how to handle the one on one.
  • I can't wait for that one!
  • BB better not cut away too much when he talks to her.
  • On that cliffhanger ... laters!
Ack. No cliffhanger, the feeds switched to adoptable animals just as I was about to hit post for this. It must be nominations. Argh. I will let you know when I know.

Jared appears from the Nether Region

Izzy dizzied once again.

NO ONE is saying Mecole's name!

Red had a touching heart to heart with Izzy.

Not singing in the sunshine.

Nominations Today Hisam talks ...

BB25: Live Feeds Return, HOH - Aug. 11

The feeds are finally back on. Is that the HOH necklace on Hisam?

Yep.

Still getting details. They all had their luggage with them and are talking about what a fantastic comp it was.

Jared is in the Nether Region for a week? Hmm. They don't know if he will return for the Veto comp or anything. Apparently, he cannot be nominated. They said there is another place away from the house (which is where they were.) They saw Jared on a screen. I don't know ... it's all very confusing and they seem confused as well.

When Reilly mentioned the card from the "incident" yesterday, the feeds cut, then returned to a different room.

Now they have the backyard at 4:16 my time (1:16am their time).

Cirie and Izzy are talking. Cirie said Hisam was going to put up Blue and Jag, then backdoor Cameron. That could have been a previous plan. Cirie is glad that Jared didn't win HOH -- she thinks he doesn't think long haul in the game, and it isn't the right time for him.

But Hisam is talking to Felicia saying Reilly is his number one and the other two on his list are Matt and Cameron. He is thinking Cameron and Reilly on the block with Reilly being told that she's a pawn.

Cameron and Jag are talking. Cameron thinks he, Jag, Matt and Reilly may be targeted. He thinks Cory and Jared were a bit close with the other side. Matt's lipreading seems exposed.

Hisam's HOH storage room

The HOH room isn't open yet. Hisam got photos, a goody basket and a letter from his family in the storage room. They took all the stuff upstairs and the door did indeed open. Weird.

BB25: Live Eviction (or not) Show Blog Party - Aug. 10

Good evening! Will there be an eviction tonight? Well, no one (including me) really knows. With Luke getting expelled from the house for a racial slur, it may or may not happen. I have seen BB let the two nominees remain and I have seen the eviction go on when someone unexpectedly left. Even the professional outlets who do the exit interviews are basically on hold over this. The feeds have remained off since yesterday. I'm also unsure if the HOH comp will be on tonight's show. It should be, but who knows? We have a hot mess a'goin' here this week!

Anyway ...

I will be live blogging the show in East Coast time, constantly updating this page. Refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there.

But first ...

Here is the updated blog pool with the people who had Luke reassigned just in case you missed the post:

Hamster watchers ready?

Julie, dressed in red, opens like nothing happened this week and it's a normal eviction show. We're into the recap.

All seems "normal" still. For now.

Julie tells us it's Day 9, split house, alliances ... hmm. What does the BB Multiverse have in store for everyone this evening?

We are back to taped after veto happenings. Hisam tells us he didn't use the veto because he felt his ally Felicia was safe this week. Reilly tells us everyone wants to send Kirsten home. Felicia wants to be certain she will stay.

America seems to be having doubts and thinking Kirsten should stay and Felicia should go. But the older alliance is growing stronger. Hisam tells the others they need to rope Red into the alliance. Cirie is just as happy that Hisam seems to be taking the lead. They snag Red in the yard. He tells us he is happy to be in a stable older group. The call themselves The Professors.

Julie gives the first mention of one has left early leading into commercials.

Back to Julie. An emotional 24 hours as one broke the BB Code of Conduct and was removed from the game.

Back to taped Kirsten in the Diary Room. She talked to Luke, who she has never talked to before. He seems to try to console her about being on the block. Ah, to the room with Jared, Cory, Hisam and Luke when they play the replay of what was said leaving the offensive word out. Jared tells us he couldn't be aggressive. Luke says he was going to call him a narwhal. Jared handles it with maturity. The clip ends with Luke saying he's in trouble now.

Morning comes and Luke is called into the Diary Room.

Reilly comes out, calls everyone. She has a card in hand, reads that due to the racial slur, Luke has been removed, the game goes on and the eviction will go on as scheduled. Cory explains it. Hisam says he didn't hear it. Jared says he doesn't confuse ignorance with malice. He wishes Luke the best.

Back to taped content. Red wants to fish for information from Reilly. He tells her he isn't in any alliance. He names off her alliance one by one to her. Heh. Says it was just an observation. Reilly is stunned. She tells him they are just friends not an alliance.

Izzy talks to Reilly. She tells us she will target Reilly first chance she gets. She tells Reilly she won't beat around the bush and knows what's up, will look out for her. Yeah, right. Reilly is in tears. Reilly tells us she's worried people are thinking of her as the ringleader. Izzy goes to Cirie to tell her about the conversation. Cirie tells us she loves Izzy but Izzy needs to calm down. She wants to be careful because Izzy knows the mother and son secret.

Reilly meets us with most of her allies. Should they save and use Kirsten? We get Diary Room segments edited to make it seem like Kirsten would be safe. Up next, first eviction of the season and beware ... the BB Multiverse is just getting started.

To the living room and Julie talks to the nominees, tells them all it's time for the first live vote of the season.

Kirsten - Enjoy working with them, ability, trained to be here, best person will get ahead, you're all great people, here to play the game.

Felicia - Love to Kirsten, you guys have become my new family, way more game in me, I want to keep playing, love you all.

Time for the live voting to begin. The votes to evict are:

Hisam - Kirsten
Jag - Kirsten
Izzy - Kirsten
Cameron - Kirsten
Into commercial ...
Matt - Kirsten
Blue - Kirsten
America - Kirsten
Mecole - Kirsten
Cirie - Kirsten
Bowie Jane - Kirsten
Cory - Kirsten
Red - Kirsten
Jared - Kirsten

It's unanimous (as we knew it would be from the live feeds). Julie announces that a vote of 13 to zero, Kirsten is evicted. She handles it well and looks like she was actually expecting it. Hugs all around.

To the stage and Julie while everyone in the house hugs. Into commercials ...

Kirsten tells Julie she was really surprised. She says everyone told her she was good. She was told they all wanted it to be a unanimous vote. Most betrayed by Cirie due to private conversations. Julie tells secret relationship ... she is surprised! Ohh ... an hour ago Jared apparently told people his nickname and she knew it's Cirie's son. We get nice goodbye messages for her.

Since Julie told her the secret, it seems Kirsten is a SHE GONE situation not going into a Nether World to return.

What does the Multiverse have in store for the houseguests? Into commercial.

Julie returns tells us the HOH will be shown Sunday and the ScaryVerse sends another twist into the house. The live feeds will return later tonight (probably after the West Coast airing of this show).

Oh noes! The cameras go to spy on the houseguests and they're gone! Then it pans to a portal type thingee in the yard!

It's past midnight here on the East Coast and the live feeds are still blocked. There has been absolutely no information coming from CBS Big Brother about the duration. BB25: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - Aug. 9

Good evening! Hmm ... where do I start? Since it made TMZ, I will let you know that Luke was expelled this morning over a racial slur he made. Tonight's show was filmed before that happened. CBS and BB production have put out a press release saying his exit will be explained on tomorrow's live eviction show. So, you will see him tonight but he ain't there! As for the blog folks who had Luke in the blog pool, you will be reassigned to another hamster. I will post on that much later tonight.

I will be live blogging the show as it airs here on the East Coast. I'll be updating regularly -- please refresh the page to get the latest updates. As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!

As per norm, we start off with a recap of the last show. I will twiddle my thumbs through this segment.

We start the action at the end of the Nominations Ceremony. Reilly tells us Kirsten jumped in doing too much and Felicia is a sweet person who will no way go home. We get Jared and Cory's take on being off the block. Felicia is "trusting in her spirit."

Izzy and Cirie try to comfort and console Kirsten. Cirie doesn't really feel safe or more that she is worried about Jared's safety with the Veto ahead. Reilly tells Felicia that she is definitely a pawn, and everyone told her Kirsten needed to be targeted. Everyone loves Felicia. Felicia tells us she doesn't like not being in control and will go for the veto.

Luke tells Cory that he didn't realize he was on the block. @@

They get to see the backyard and Felicia promptly falls in the hot tub! Cameron thinks he's close to the others in the Scary Room. Felicia is proving observant -- she knows an alliance is forming in there. Reilly, Jag, Cameron, Blue and Matt. Reilly makes a final two with Jag.

The Reilly's HOH alliance group is formed with a core group of the five. They call themselves The Handful. They are all very happy with themselves!

Cory is fanboying Cirie. She sits in the chair in the Have Not room and on a whoopie cushion. Cory tells us she's the biggest threat in the house but wants to talk to her more. Her Cirie-sense goes off about him. Of course, she won't let him know!

Jag talks about being a Sikh with Hisam. He says people see the turban instead of a person. He wants to be a good example. Hisam is of Arabic descent. Hisam also wants to be seen past the stereotype.

Felicia, Mecole, Izzy, Bowie and Cirie talk. Felicia tells them that the Scary Room has an alliance, and they need to firm one. Felicia calls them the Bye Bye Bitches after a sign on the wall in their Comics Room -- originally said by Janelle!

Cameron has a Mickey Mouse hairdo. The Handful want to bring in Jared, Cory and America into their alliance. Cory is now confident. Jared tells his mother about the alliance. He is about to become a double agent. She is nervous that she's being left out and doesn't want to be a target.

Kirsten talks to us. She tells us that she will keep her enemies closer and ally with Reilly if she wins the veto.

Veto players pick time! Reilly draws Hisam. Kirsten draws Blue. Felicia draws Cameron.

Cirie wants to tell Hisam about the alliance because Felicia is cool and she doesn't want her coming off the block. Hisam is upset that there's an 8 person alliance and he's not in it.

To the backyard for the Veto Comp! From the Humiliverse ... all get an "atomic wedgie." They have to set 35 flowers on a base -- if one falls, they get pulled in the air by their "underwear." Cirie is hosting. They all get whipped up into the air, then get sprayed with water. Cameron almost had it but knocked his stack down.

HISAM WINS THE POWER OF VETO!

Kirsten is trying to talk Hisam into saving her. He tells her he won't be making a hasty decision.

Time for the Veto Meeting. Hisam does NOT use the veto. We don't get speeches from either nominee. He says he could never decide between the two of them.

BB25: Luke Removed from the BB House Bulletin - Aug. 9

STATEMENT FROM CBS AND THE PRODUCERS: “Luke violated the BIG BROTHER code of conduct and there is zero tolerance in the house for using a racial slur. He has been removed from the house. His departure will be addressed in Thursday night’s show.”

See my last post for details on what happened.

Those who have Luke in the blog pool will be reassigned to a new hamster. Right now, the house is in adoptable animals mode probably telling the others that he's gone.
