BB22: Live Feeds into Monday Evening - 08/10

Monday, Monday ... so boring in the house. However, I'm sure you want to know the latest from inside that Big Brother House of All-Star Aardvarks:
  • Well, Nicole A. is feeling better after being violently ill last night. Since it's only people on slop who have gotten sick, I think it must be the slop. Duh.
  • It seems the same sheeple mentality we've seen the last several seasons is back in place in this one -- people are already talking about voting with the house.
  • Ack.
  • Janelle and Kaysar know they are huge targets and have been trying to get a group together.
  • I just don't know how successful they will be.
  • Enzo did NOT use the veto, so it's still Keesha and Kevin on the block.
  • And it seems that Keesha is the "house target."
  • I'd go into much more but I'm seriously beat tonight.
  • My apologies.
  • Oh. It's Kaysar's 40th birthday today.
  • Woot woot

BB22: Live Feeds into Monday - 08/10

Reunited and it feels so good

What's been happening inside that Big Brother House of Malcontented Mice?
  • As it was Sunday, it was basically a down time day for them -- no comps to do, no ceremonies and it's been a few seasons since they even had the photo booth on Sunday.
  • But they did get the yard!
  • And, who knows how long they had it and didn't notice.
  • While we were busy watching the very delayed televised episode here on the East Coast last night, it was starting to get dark there.
  • A group was gathered in the kitchen and Tyler happened to notice new lights in the yard through the sliding glass doors.
  • He ran for the door and, sure enough, it opened. Heck they might have gone all day with access to the yard and not know it!
  • Silly hamsters.
  • In other news, Janelle and Kaysar remain the biggest targets for most of the others.
  • Dani thinks that Ian is using his autism as an advantage in the game.
  • Now, I like how she does in comps and her intuition in the game, but the mean girl remains the mean girl almost like the queen remains the queen.
  • While my own personal favorite to watch players are Ian, Janelle and Kaysar, I'd have to say if I were IN the house instead of WATCHING them, those three would be my targets as well.
  • You wouldn't have a lick o' sense if you let them get so one of them is in the final two with you!
  • Enzo seems to be playing much better so far this season than he did in his own. I think he has more on the ball than Cody and is becoming a bit endearing and entertaining to the others. He keeps it up and that Jersey Meow may be a contendor.
  • Nicole A. is the latest victim of the Have Not Ills -- rather violently ill from the slop and possibly the stress. It's high time they stopped that nasty stuff.
  • I long for the return of food comps which used to play out live on the feeds and had them earning different foodstuffs. They could rid themselves of the slop and work the rest of Have Not in with some kind of food comp.
  • All of a sudden I have a hankering for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. What's up with that?
  • Nicole F continues to alienate me as she worms her way in with Cody.
  • As it stands, it still looks like Enzo will not use the veto in today's ceremony, leaving Keesha and Kevin on the block.
  • Although Kevin, to me, has been the most problematic in the handling of this, it looks like it will be Keesha heading out the door.
  • Kevin needs to stop crying. His lack of self-esteem makes Nicole A. look like a proud leader of troops in last season.
  • But, I'm thinking that even if one leaves, they're not really gone this season. Julie mentioned extra rooms. That's rooms with an 's'. Plus, with all the work to get them there during the pandemic, it would probably best to just keep them. I expect some sort of comeback or battle back twist ahead.

I didn't come here just to go home

BB22: Nominations Show Blog Party - Sunday 8/09

Are we ready for the show? After all, we've had a ridiculous delay due to GOLF, of all things. Doesn't my Golf cable television channel cover that? Sheesh! If you missed the blog pool match-ups so skillfully randomly assigned by SueGee, you can check them out at this here link.

Tonight's episode is the nominations. As the show airs here on the East Coast, I'll be updating this post with the major happenings. Refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area -- feel free to join in on the fun!

Apparently even the 10pm scheduled start is still too early as 60 Minutes is still on. It doesn't look much longer, but sheesh. Okay, 60 Minutes ended at 10:07pm.

Finally ... recap, recap ...

Have Nots are Ian, Nicole A., Kevin and Memphis. We get a tease about the Safety Suite and the issues with the locked Have Not Room door.

Cody thinks he needed to win this HoH, apparently he thinks he's a huge target. They explore the house. Ian tells us he wanted to win the HoH because he was one of only two winners in the house. Janelle thinks she can work with Kaysar. NicoleA.  is starstruck as is Da'vonne. Meow Meow is happy. Nicole F cries in her first Diary Room because "Da'vone is there and she changed my life." Heh. Da'vonne recalls being backstabbed by Nicole F.

Kaysar and David talk, Kaysar wants to connect in a different way with every other hamster.

Nicole F already hits Cody up to be ride or die. Cody tells us he trusts her. Cody thinks he might nominate Keesha because he doesn't know her. Nicole tells him she can form a girls alliance and report back to him. He thinks that Janelle and Kaysar are both big threats, especially together.

Safety Suite time -- all are issued VIP passes, HoH can't enter during his/her reign. Only can be used once. Winner gets to save someone else but that second person  gets a punishment as well. It's worrying to many as they don't know what Cody will do.

An air horn goes off and they have an hour. They would need to scan their VIP pass to get in. Enzo doesn't go. He thinks the Jersey boys will stick together. No one wants to be first in the room. Janelle doesn't feel safe, neither does Keesha. Kaysar talks to Cody. Cody tells him that he would say yes to everyone at this time. Kaysar sees red flags.

Janelle talks to Cody. She raises flags to him which makes her think that he already has some ideas. She's not buying what he's selling. Memphis talks to him and gets a loyalty vibe. Memphis says Janelle scares him. Dani doesn't know if she should play or not.

Kaysar goes in the Safety Suite. Janelle goes in. Kaysar is in a room by himself as the BB DJ, listen to a remix, recreate the song by hitting buttons, right results in shortest amount of time. Named Don't Skip a Beat. It's a synthesized version of Twinkle Twinkly Little Star. He finally gets it. Janelle is up next. She had problems with it, Kausar 7.55 minutes Janelle 16.35. Kaysar chooses Janelle as his Plus One.

Janelle will have a punishment, but neither Janelle nor Kaysar can be nominated. Good. Cody was going to nominate them. Heh.

Cody and Nicole F are talking. He's thinking Kevin as he didn't have a chance to click with. He doesn't think he can work with Keesha.

Janelle gets her costume punishment -- she's the BB All Star Mascot, dressed as a yellow smiling shining star.

Kevin is almost in tears, scared to talk to Cody. My gosh, his self-esteem is totally gone with the wind. He tells Cody that he (Cody) is perfect. Cody consoles him and tells him he's good. Oh, gee. It made Cody feel horrible. He tells us he needs to separate his emotions from the game.

Time for the nominations ceremony. He nominates Keesha, then Kevin. He says he doesn't want them to take it personal, hard to form relationships so early, go for the veto.

BB22: PGA Tournament Delays East Coast Episode - 08/09

As Julie mentioned in the show's closing Wednesday, some areas may have the Sunday show on a delay. Well, that seems to be all of the East Coast. Due to the PGA tournament, Big Brother isn't even scheduled until 10pm EDT. I'm assuming that PDT should be the normal time; not sure of Mountain and Central. Check your local listings!

I will have a blog party post up for the 10pm EDT show as it's scheduled here.

They still don't have the yard.

BB22: Live Feeds into Sunday - 8/09

Intelligent and intriguing conversation

So, what's been happening inside that Big Brother House of A Season Sans Shownances?
  • By the way, I am loving no showmances and the older crowd. Although these hamsters have played the game before and maybe got it out of their systems, I'm finding many of the non-game conversations less vapid and some truly intriguing.
  • This show advertises itself as a "social experiment" but over the years has concentrated more on getting good-looking young model types or characters. This season we have many in the house thankful that they didn't have to do a bathing suit photo. Good.
  • One really worthy conversation took place between Kaysar and Ian. It was a long one on how the brain works when a person is autistic or on the spectrum. Kaysar said the other day he was on the spectrum. Ian, probably due to the stress and no yard, is really stimming hard the past few days. Kaysar missed his calling as a therapist.
  • During that long conversation, BB was sometimes cutting the feed. I think it had more to do with whatever was on the other two cameras than the Ian/Kaysar talk.
  • Now, there's something off the feeds happening that may affect the house this season and I think I'm seeing signs it has.
  • Before the season started, I posted a link to an article about Derrick and Dan supposedly off the show due to Nicole F. saying they were pre-game strategizing.
  • That might be a bit off.
  • It seems that it might be Nicole F. pre-game or even off-game strategizing with Derrick to help Cody through the game. And, it seems like Dan is involved as well. Janelle even mentioned something that Dan said to her. Hmm.
  • Whatever is going on, it's not good for Janelle, Kayser, Keesha, Kevin, Da'vonne or even Tyler or Bayleigh.
  • Oh, well. Out of my control but I'll keep watching the bloodbath called Twitter for the skinny on it.
  • Meanwhile, back in the house ... as I mentioned in my last update, Enzo won the Power of Veto.
  • He doesn't plan on using it but did mention to Cody that they could blindside Tyler.
  • Cody's sights seem to be set on Keesha leaving.
  • Just from the conversations of many, it seems like it will be Keesha.
  • To me, although her voice on the live feeds makes me cringe and turn down the volume, it's a shame. She's a good competitor and we barely have seen her in action.
  • In the name-calling department, I mentioned in another update that Keesha thought Tyler was Taylor or Trevor. Now Cody keeps calling David Kevin. I can only wonder whether he meant to put Kevin or "Not Really Kevin" on the block.
  • More seriously, I think he does know which one he nominated.
  • They should get the yard sometime today.
  • I see no kerfuffles or brouhahas on the horizon. BB can probably give them back the knives.

I used to like Dani better

Get it together, Kevin!

Is rumored pre-gaming going to hurt?

It could be bye-bye Keesha
