BB21: Live Feeds into Saturday - June 29

Like huge Orwell Owl eyes, creepy!

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Loquacious Louts:
  • The plan to use Kemi as the replacement nom and evict her is the plan once again.
  • The veto meeting still hasn't been held.
  • But it's still Sam's intention to save Cliff with the veto.
  • I'm onboard with that particular plan although I'm not so keen on backdooring Kemi. I just don't see the reason to do so. I'm more for them evicting Kat or … just dreaming here … backdooring Jack.
  • My dream won't happen.
  • I just find Kat to be very needy. Sure, she is on the block. But, still …! With Jack, I just can't really pinpoint it. He just comes across to me as full of himself and used to having people kowtow to him. That rubs me the wrong way.
  • Although we don't know when the veto meeting will be, the hamsters expect Whacttivity on Monday since the first one was last Monday.
  • All I can glean is that it gives the winner some kind of power. No one has been confirmed as the winner of the last one and I haven't caught any mention of what the power is.
  • Oh … just a reminder -- due to the holiday this week, the show is on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. The next week it shifts to Wednesday and Thursday nights. Of course, the Sunday show remains Sunday and probably delayed often by sports.
  • Back to the feeds …
  • Holly's behavior continues to be erratic. She went from picking on Ovi to now focusing on Bella. She's saying that Kemi is taking the fall for Bella. I just don't see that. I think Holly is going to continue to instigate rifts as long as she remains in the house. Hmm.
  • Christie continues to distance herself from Jack. If they wouldn't cut the feeds and she was old enough to know the song … I'd love for her to nominate him while singing "Hit the Road, Jack."
  • Okay, I'll stop singing. While she's squashing any showmance, she's not about to nominate him.
  • Meanwhile, Bella told her showmancer Nick that she would love a final four with him, Tommy and Christie.
  • No, the Tommy/Christie connection is still being kept secret.
  • And, alliances seem all over the place.
  • Christie is still worried that Kemi might have more support to stay than they think. She wants Kemi to go away if she puts her on the block. She really doesn't want her remaining in the house and targeting her.
  • Then don't put her up, I say.
  • The fist are mounting a protest and two have died for the cause.
  • (Yes, they have been feeding them. They think something might be wrong with the water.)
  • Of course, if they had tarantulas like they had the one season, fish wouldn't be dying in that house!
  • Kemi is suspicious and feels she will be backdoored. Sigh.
  • It's out and about that Nick is a child therapist. Yet, the truth is doubted. Christie, Analyse and Holly think it's a like because he still lives at home. They think he's some kind of poker hustler.
  • That's pretty much where we're at right now.

He needs to stay! He talks to us!

Dang, some lighting in there is lacking!

Smile for the camera

Kat is emotionally dependent on him

It seems like we've been here forever!

BB21: Live Feeds into Fridaay Evening - June 28

Yeah, I'm always all that, just don't know what

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Hapless Hamsters:
  • With the yard opening today, I expect more group activities!
  • Oh yeah … fun for all! I just love to watch groups of people exercise.
  • Yes, that's sarcasm.
  • Watching people lay about in the sun is always such fun.
  • Er … no.
  • Sam told Kathryn that he plans to use the veto … and not on her. So, she's still freaking. Christie assured her she'd be safe.
  • Safe at HOME maybe! Heh.
  • Bella, under the assumption that Kemi will go on the block thinks that she should get at least one sympathy vote.
  • Oh, that's so kind of her! Isn't it?
  • An interesting item to note -- apparently Jack had no releases signed by family or friends. I wonder if his dog paw-printed a release so he'll have at least one family member in photos if he wins HoH.
  • Sam and Christie talked about him using the veto. He definitely thinks Cliff deserves to stay in the house and will use it on him.
  • Christie once again indicated she'd be putting Kemi up, telling her it's nothing person and house-based.
  • That will go over well, I think.
  • Bella is not only in a rather unexpected showmance with Nick, she seems to be Holly's new target (taking place of Ovi?).
  • Holly told Analyse that if Bella was on the block with Kat, Bella would go home.
  • Hmm.
  • Meanwhile, it's not certain at all that Christie will put Kemi on the block. In a talk with Jessica and Nicole, she mentioned it might look bad if the first two out of the house are black. She doesn't want to be perceived as a racist or make it seem like a race-based decision. Jessica said it would look very bad. Nicole agreed.
  • So, there's that. We'll see … even if she does go on the block, both Nick and Bella would want Kemi to stay over Kat. There are others, too. She might have the votes to stay.
  • If she does stay, Christie would have one really ticked-off Kemi living with her.
  • I'm personally thinking putting Jack on the block, telling him he's a pawn, would be best.
  • Heh.

This will cut down on game talk

Nickabella, not a couple I imagined

Yes, Nicole is in the house!

Side-eye alert!

I miss hours of Ian

BB21: Live Feeds into Fri. Morning - June 28

Girls who twirl together um ...

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Group Activities:
  • They did that human knot stuff the night before last
  • So, last night they all (or almost all) gathered around the table playing a game about "I'm going on a road trip and I'm bringing _____" Each person would name an item and the next person would name all the items in order and add their own.
  • First off, I'd suck at that. Second, while it could be a bit funny at times, it was tedious and long-lasting … and had nothing to do with game.
  • For some reason, they all get irked by Ovi giving a neck or shoulder massage but practically everyone else is touchy feely. Ovi seemed to be missing from the group game in the kitchen unless I just didn't notice him because they were boring me.
  • I notice the house has the same cooler I have. I think they must owe me royalties.
  • The "plan" was to backdoor Kemi.
  • That is, until now. Christie is having second thoughts about it all.
  • After a visit to the Diary Room, she's questioning the wisdom of possibly ticking off Kemi and then Kemi stays.
  • She says Kemi has never done anything to her. It just didn't seem right.
  • Her original personal plan had been to evict Kat. She's now thinking that she should probably stick to that.
  • Even though Kat has been saying she misses her friends and wants to go home, in the next breath she wants to stay.
  • Sam is still thinking he wants to save Cliff with the veto.
  • I still like those thoughts.
  • Meanwhile, some of the girls (in particular) are getting more irked by Jack's attitude that he has everyone wrapped around his finger.
  • Would it be possible to get him out this early?
  • I don't know.
  • If Cliff is taken off the block and she really wants Kat to go, she shouldn't put up Kemi. Or Ovi. Either of those two would make Kat going quite iffy.
  • She won't put Tommy up. We know that.
  • I think it would be interesting if she put Jackson up saying he opened a can of worms by going after the Camp Director role so hard and his actions as such, plus he and Kat are a "power couple" and need to be split up.
  • Heehee. That won't happen but I'd still get a kick out of it!
  • Kat has indeed turned her crying neediness to Jackson. He doesn't seem to mind at all.
  • I mentioned in my first feeds report that someone snores really loudly. Apparently it's Ovi. Hmm. Maybe he should get nominated! I don't think I've ever heard a louder snorer on the live feeds!
  • I guess I was mistaken in my last report. She did say blindside, but now Kat is all worried and going to Christie about being "backdoored."
  • I stand on my statement -- if she is voted out, it will neither be a blindside nor a backdoor.
  • The Christie/Jack coupling is SO over.
  • Christie is starting to come out to others that she's into girls and she doesn't want to be coupled with Jack at all.
  • Hmm. One of the people she told is Kemi.
  • It seems to be a consensus that Jack is not all he thinks he is. However, I don't think Analyse is right in thinking he'll be easy to get out later. That endurance comp they had is a bad one to judge his skills. Really big guys are never good at them -- too much body weight, big feet.
  • Even though Ovi is on the outs with Holly and Company, both Christie and Analyse trust him more than they do Jack and some of the others.
  • So … no more Jack/Christie showmance, Kat/Jackson a thing. Nick has told too many people about his actual therapy job, Holly likes to instigate problems most notably about Ovi, Christie is waffling about putting Kemi on the block, Kat is freaking out and crying backdoor when it isn't, Jack's all that an a bag of chips is getting stale, Tommy and Christie maintain secrecy over knowing each other, Bella thinks Jack and Christie should move in together after the show, Ovi is trusted by some even if they don't seem to like him, Sam really wants to save Cliff with the veto.
  • Got it?
  • Right now Cliff is the only one up. He's having breakfast and talking to Orwell and us. I want him saved this week!

Kemi consoles Kat, imagine that!

Ovi next to MY cooler!

Cliff looks like a different person sans hat

Rubadubdub, three men in a … boat

Jackson and Kathryn @@

BB21: Live Feeds into Thurs. Evening - June 27

What? Me worry?

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Wanton Whackadoodles:

  • As I mentioned in the earlier veto bulletin, the feeds were blocked for over seven hours. Yeah, that's a big chunk of the day for sure!
  • If you didn't catch it -- Sam won the veto.
  • It's sounding like he wants to save Cliff with it.
  • I wish he would. It really isn't right to put one much older than the rest person in there each year only to have them be instant targets.
  • Plus, I think Cliff has game in him. I want to see him play!
  • To be honest, I'd have no problem with Kathryn going home. She's already cried too much.
  • Although Tommy was chosen to host the comp, it sounds like Kaycee from BB20 hosted it or had something to do with it.
  • The comp sounds like it will be fun to watch. Now I know there were 18 onions.
  • In their talks, they were saying it was set up kind of like a school lunchroom and they were diving over/under tables. It apparently was done individually and as they completed, they were sequestered away in different rooms.
  • There were strawberries and meatballs involved as well.
  • Hmm.
  • Oh, speaking of comps -- apparently that first Whacktivity comp Julie mentioned has already played out.
  • They're not really mentioning it, though. From what little I can grasp, it's one of those that the winner doesn't reveal unless he or she wants to tell.
  • I guess we'll find out Sunday on the show.
  • It's obvious that Kathryn isn't too familiar with the terminology of the show -- she told Holly (while crying) that she thinks she's being blindsided.
  • Um, no. She was an original nomination. She had the chance to win the veto and save herself. If she gets voted out, it's not a blindside. Heck, even if she was told she's a pawn (which I don't think anyone said), it still wouldn't be a blindside. A blindside is when the plan is to evict someone who has no opportunity to play for veto or save himself, always a renom.
  • Oh, wait. She didn't say backdoor. She said blindside. Nah, she still isn't being blindsided either -- she'll go if she keeps freaking out about going. Otherwise they just might blindside someone else!
  • Plus, if she's expecting a blindside, she won't be blindsided about it. Heehee.
  • Sam and Nick want to form an alliance with Jack, Analyse and Christie.
  • Of course, Sam and Nick have no idea of any other alliances.
  • Ovi is still not really a part of anything going on in the house other than Holly's complaints about him.
  • He tries to mix and mingle but nothing seems to be really clicking for him.
  • Nicole is another odd one out a bit.
  • Hmm. Those two both really know the game. They should team up together.
  • Kemi is coming around and mingling more. I don't know if Jackson told her the reason he chose her for banishment was because everyone else talked to him but her. Whether or not he told her, it seems she is understanding she can't play the game as a lone wolfette.
  • Bella has been teaching people Chinese. She's also a bit onto Cliff -- she told Kathryn that she thinks he's a lot smarter than he's letting on.
  • I think we're going to see a pretty shrewd player in Bella.
  • Either that or she'll crash and burn.
  • One or the other.
  • Cliff is definitely more in with at least some of the guys than Ovi is in with anybody, guys or gals.
  • He and Nick talked. Cliff told Nick he's trying to distance himself from Ovi because it seems like Ovi is alienating himself and he doesn't want to be caught in that.
  • Nick said if he wins HOH next week, he thinks he'd put Ovi up because something just isn't right with the way he's acting.
  • Hmm.
  • Even though Kathryn doesn't know if the veto will be used or not, in between crying and then saying she's okay, she says she wants to go home.
  • So, send her. No skin off my nose.
  • Okay, I'll stop being mean.
  • Right now it's not sure who the replacement nom will be if/when Sam takes Cliff off the block.
  • We also don't know when the veto meeting will be held.
  • On the "don't know" note, I bid you adieu for the night ...

I'll be chill when I'm not crying

Is Sam shouting? Of course he is.

We'll call our alliance the Fugazi Five

Checkers, no chess!

BB21: Live Feeds Bulletin - Veto Winner - Thur. June 27

Critter Cam is back!

Thankfully after last season's never ending loops of shows, we have the return of adoptable doggies, kitties and bunnies.

That said, the veto comp had the live feeds blocked for over seven hours today.

The veto winner is SAM.

The veto comp itself was a messy and physical one with strawberries, running, onions, maybe meatballs … I dunno. More later!

BB21: Live Feeds into Thursday - June 27

And so it begins ...

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Newbie Nuts:
  • When the live feeds went on at midnight ET they'd already been in the house for a week without them.
  • They knew when they went on.
  • I'm still getting used to who is whom and all, so bear with me.
  • We always miss so much in the beginning of the season before they start the live feeds. Grr!
  • Nominations have already been made.
  • Cliff and Kat (Kathryn) are on the block.
  • As it stands now, the plan is to take Kat down with the veto and backdoor Kemi.
  • They keep assuring Kat that she will be safe although not letting her know of the backdoor plan.
  • Yet, she persists in working herself all up.
  • She thinks she needs to win the veto or get HG choice and choose Jackson to play for her, win it and take her off the block.
  • From all I saw, even though they're getting tired of her freaking out, she is going to be safe.
  • Although, if it remains Cliff and her … maybe if she bugs them all enough !
  • Jessica, Kathryn and Tommy think they are out of the loop and alliances are going on.
  • You don't say!
  • They all played some human knot thing to entertain us.
  • It didn't entertain me. Make them stop and not do that again.
  • It's like group Twister holding hands instead of staying on the color dots.
  • Kathryn trusts Jackson, but not Bella.
  • Meanwhile, Bella is actually okay with Kat but is annoyed by Kemi.
  • And on it goes.
  • Even though Analyse said on the show last night her nickname is Sis, they're calling her Anna.
  • I think they're doing that just to confuse me.
  • Sam actually talks to us via the cameras. I like that. But Tommy said that they were told by BB not to talk to us. Grr.
  • Hmmm … there's already some friction between Holly and Ovi. We'll have to see if that continues.
  • She thinks he spied on her in the shower, then used the bathroom,. didn't was his hands and then touched food.
  • Holly might have broken up the Jack/Jackson bromance by telling him that Jack is getting way too close with Christie.
  • I'm not sure if Jackson is as leery of Jack as he seemed to be when talking to Holly.
  • Kemi is oblivious to the fact that she's any kind of target. She says she doesn't want to play for the veto and if she has to, she will throw it.
  • Oh my, Oblivious Girl.
  • The feeds were blocked as the veto players were picked.
  • Kemi only has to worry about being backdoored now.
  • Tommy will host the comp. Christie, Cliff and Kathryn will play for veto with Nicole, Jack and Sam.
  • And Kathryn cried …
  • And … when are they going to learn about lying about their jobs? Nick already told Tommy about his real job saying he wish he could help Kathryn cope. Once you tell one, they'll all eventually know. In my opinion, it was a rather silly lie … especially since he works with children. I'm juat not seeing the threat.
  • The veto comp will be sometime today. I think so, anyway.
  • Someone in that house snores loudly.
  • More later!

Mixing and mingling

Convoluted human knot "fun"

The Amazing Race 31: Season Finale Blog Party

Well, here we are -- it's the season finale. Remember, this will be a two-hour show, so settle in. Not surprisingly, three of the four remaining teams in the race are previous TAR teams. I am a bit surprised that the one non-TAR team is from Big Brother rather than Survivor. Victor and Nicole deserve kudos! (Plus they're my blog pool pick!)

Speaking of the blog pool -- here's the latest updated list from Lifeguard SueGee:

From Big Brother
Nicole & Victor -- Jackie, Jennifer, Jenna G

From Survivor
No One Has Survived!

From TAR
Colin & Christie -- Donna NY, Petals
Leo & Jamal -- Merrilee, Judi Sweeney, Glenn Allen
Tyler & Korey -- Sharon N, Ed in Ohio

Philiminated
Art & JJ
Rupert & Laura
Corinne & Eliza
Janelle & Britney
Rachel & Elissa
Chris & Bret
Becca & Floyd

I'll be live blogging and constantly updating this entry with the major happenings as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, you know the party is in the comments area! Have fun!

Race watchers ready? Let's GO!

Teams are off to London for the next leg. The TAR alumni want to be the final three although the Afghanimals aren't all that popular with the other two teams The two teams will work together when possible. The Afhanimals have been eliminated in the 11th leg both times before and the last time in England.

All teams on the same flight. But it's a scramble for taxis to get to the Aviation Museum. They find out they have to book the taxis, not hail one.

Helicopter ride over the White Cliffs of Dover to the Dover Castle. Leo;Jamal running in first place. Stunning views!

Roadblock -- Who can't keep a secret … cracking a code and typing it up.

Leo/Jamal through it. Korey and Christie working together. Victor suspects it.

After the Roadblock teams fly back to London and search for clues along the River Thames.

Gah. Victor solved the puzzle and helped the other teams. Then Korey finished leaving Christie last.

Leo/Jamal head to Piccadilly Circus. Victor and Nicole on their tails, then Tyler/Korey.  The next clue is a Detour. Memorize a cab route one detail at a time or learn how to row two person skiff and complete a course in one minute. All three teams are there and now Christie finally finished the Roadblock.

Leo/Jamal start with the rowing, but switch when it seems precarious. That memorization seems impossible to me! Nic/Vic are trying to row. Christie and Colin finally there, go for the row. Tyler/Korey are also there. All having trouble. Whoops! Tyler/Korey capsize and are questioning their choice of detour. Sure enough, they switch.

Nic/Vic switch, too. Jamal/Leo get through the cab memorization after many tries and are the first on the way to the Pit Stop. Tyler/Korey through the cab.

Pit Stop --
Phil hands the Afghanimals a clue and they have to pick up some items at a market before they can be checked in. They have to find eight items. Then it's Ty;er/Korey shopping, too.

Christie/Colin got through the rowing! Vic/Nic finish the taxi.  Colin/Christie get to Phil and go shopping, then Nic/Vic.

Pit Stop Order
1. Leo and Jamal
2. Tyler and Korey (who told Colin/Christie where some things are)
3. Colin and Christie
4. Nicole and Victor … Philiminated - They handle it well.

The final three are off to Detroit, Michigan. Tyler/Korey are from Michigan and are quite familiar with Detroit.

All on the same flight. They're heading to the Spirit of Detroit. Leo/Jamal get to the clue first -- Roadblock. Who's good with numbers? 500 foot face forward rappel looking for the numbers that are the combination for a vault. It turns out doing the combination itself is tricky with the numbers having to be dialed in certain directions and number of times.

Colin and Christie through first. They have to play a bizarre game that combines football and bowling. Colin/Christie can't find their cab (that they left waiting). Tyler/Korey pass them by and get in their cab.

Both ColinChrisie and Tyler/Korey are at the Fowling.

Teams must press five split color vinyl records according to the next clue. Tyler/Korey out first heading that way. Leo/Jamal still at the vault. He finally got it and they're heading for the records.

Chratie/Colin finish the records first and have to find the next clue among a bunch of musicians. Tyler/Korey on their tails.

That clue directs them to assemble a drum kit. While they're assembling them, extremely loud music is distracting them and interfering with their ability to communicate.

Colin/Christie finish their drum first. Soon after, Tyler/Korey finish. Both teams heading towards the finish line. Afghanimals have no chance.

COLIN AND CHRISTIE WIN THE AMAZING RACE 31!

Second place goes to Tyler and Korey. Leo and Jamal are fowling. They finally arrive at the finish line.

BB21: Season Premiere Part Two Blog Party

b

It sounds like it's going to be a pretty jammed with action hour for us tonight. We'll have the Camp Director banished hamsters comp and, since this is a taped show followed by the two-hour season finale of The Amazing Race, it looks like we'll have an edited or really shortly endured endurance HoH comp. Either that or they'll leave things hanging to air on the next show. If that's the case, although rumor are out and about, we'll know the HoH for sure after the live feeds come on at midnight ET.

Just a TAR note -- the blog party post for that show is waiting in the wings and will appear as BB ends tonight. Come cheer on hamsters Victor and Nicole!

BB21 blog pool match-ups are on THIS HERE LINKED POST in case you missed it.

BB21 schedule is on THIS POST. And, last but not least, what to expect from this blog is on THIS POST.

I'll be live blogging and constantly updating this post as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh this page to get the latest update! As always. the rea; party is in the comments area. Please stop in and visit us! Bring adult beverages and snacks.

Previously on and blah-blah-blah …

Julie has on a summery dress. We get clips of begging and pleading. Jessica is worried about being banished. Jackson, not happy that he has to make the decision to banish four and cost one his/her game, listens to each of them. Kemi doesn't think she herself needs to go talk to him. Bella falls into favor with Jack and Jackson because she voted for him. Jack mentions that David probably wouldn't hold it against Jackson and is sure to come back.

Jackson talks to David and lets him know he wants to put him as a pawn in the comp against people he's sure to beat. David tells him he'd rather not.

Julie has them gather in the living room. A camp mascot helps the banished be removed. Jackson goes away from the rest and makes his first selection. The mascot is a creepy squirrel. The squirrel puts a wrap over Cliff's head and leads him out. Second banished is Kemi. Then Jessica. Then David.

The four are in the dark in the wilderness. First three back to Camp BB stay in the game. Other camps are put there as decoys. The decoy camps are all booby-trapped. Gooey honey, balls chucked at them, etc.

CLIFF makes it back first!

Kemi experiences scary clowns, but makes in back second to Camp BB

Jessica and David are struggling but Jessica makes it back first.

DAVID is last and out of the game. Julie interrupts his search and tells him he's out of the Big Brother house … for now. Hmm.

Christie wants to make sure that Tommy is okay with her. They both want to keep things under the radar about knowing each other.

Jack says they're calling Jackson "Mickey" as it's his last name -- Michie I believe. They're trying to get a six person alliance together. Holly, Christie, Bella, Nick, Jack and Jackson … er, Mickey.

Julie tells us an epic battle of endurance BEGUNS next. Now, this show was taped and that comp is NOT live. So, I won't be covering it. I will confirm the winner once the live feeds verify it later tonight.

Jackson has one last duty to perform. He won't be competing. Played in pairs. Climb onto a log, last person on log is HoH. Jackson chooses who gets paired with whom. The logs are vertical and swaying a bit.

Whoa! Jessica is out first!

They get sprayed with various colors of paint (or paint-like substance).

Jack down, Kathryn, Nick down. More stuff coming at them and the logs are spinning a bit. Ovi out -- he threw it. Sam down. Kemi down. Cliff down. Bella down. Maybe this will end with the show end. Nicole down.

Christie wants to win for her new alliance. Analyse is down, then Holly. It's only Tommy and Christie still in it. She tells us he would be safe from a DR bit. Tommy down.

CHRISTIE IS THE FIRST HOH!

I was definitely right about Sam being Most Likely to Shout In the DR,

A new power will be revealed next week. And, Julie tells us David might be back. The live eviction next week is on Wednesday night.

BB21: Season Premiere Part One Blog Party

Okay, hamster watchers! Are you ready for summer camp? Well, not really camp for us … more like a guilty pleasure.

I'll be updating this entry with the major happenings live-blogging tonight's show the best I can. It's often a bit hard when I'm not all that familiar with the cast. So, please bear with me. Refresh this page to get the latest updates! As always. the real party is in the comments area -- feel free to join in on the fun!

If you want to know more about how this blog does BB and what's expected in the community, click this link HERE.

For the program/live feeds scheduling, click this link HERE.

The Lovable Lifeguard SueGee has made the random match-ups for the blog pool. We did notice two stragglers scratching at the pool gate and allowed them in. So, if you asked late, check to see if you're in it! Instead of the pool being listed on an already to be long show post, I have it on its own page. I will update it and link it in the show blog party post weekly on eviction nights. This is the link -- Who's YOUR Hamster?

So, let's get this going …! Tonight's show isn't live and they've actually been in the house for about a week. Rumors are one might already be gone. Yikes!

Camp BB -- Julie's wearing a rather unusual for her loose fitting dress that for some reason reminds me of the old duster housecoats. She promises us twists and turns never seen before. I note that she didn't say we'd like them.

And, now we're into meeting the first eight -- Jackson, Nicole, Tommy, Kathryn (Kat), Ovi, Kemi, Holly and Jack. After the intros, they're on stage with Julie and the first group to move in. Tommy, Jack, Kat and Nicole go in first. The rest head in. Screams of delight. Tommy is admiring Jack. Kat admires Jackson. Ovi and Jackson went to the same school.

Julie hints that some may already know each other and, before the night is out, one might receive something that could change the game.

Time to meet the rest of the hamsters. Christie, Sam, Isabella (calls herself Bella on all the interviews), Nick, Jessica, Cliff, Analyse and David. First in are Cliff, Bella, Dacid and Analyse. Jack/Jackson are already bromance buddies. Ovi seems cast aside. Sam, Nick, Jessica and Christie head in. Tommy knows Christie -- she dated his (aunt) mentioned older woman for seven years. Neither knew the other would be there. Both pretend not to know each other.

Then we're into the group drinks/ meet and greet among them. Girls are already agog at Jack and his resemblance to the Aquaman actor.

Julie calls them all into the living room and tells them Camp BB. Expect the unexpected starts now. They must name a camp director who will have unprecedented powers. Safe for a week, direct first comp, could put your game in jeopardy. It's an election, can't vote for themselves.

Darn it! Vincent the cat just caught a mouse. I have Wild Kingdom going on here!.

It looks like David and Jackson are interested in being Camp Director. I missed a bit disposing a dead body. Vincent broke his play toy.

Kemi would like Jessica to win, but wants to vote with the house. Jackson goes to Jack for both his vote and a pact. Jackson seems to have impressed Nicole in his quest for Director. Bella seems like she's going to turn for the girls voting for Jessica and vote Jackson instead.

Time to vote director --
Analyse -- Jessica
Jack -- Jackson
Not all votes are being shown.

Results, all must put on goggles. Least number of votes -- paint explodes on several of them. Zero vote people. That's just about everybody. Jack, Jackson, Jessica and Nick. One vote each for Jack and Nick. Jessica is out with four votes and Jackson is the new Camp Director with ten votes. Jessica is upset that so many lied to her.

Julie congratulates Jackson. He's safe at the first live eviction. He must banish four houseguests. The four will be out of the game and must battle for their BB lives. Three will be back in, the fourth will be out before the first eviction takes place.

And, that's where it ends tonight.

The banished go to the BB Wilderness and will need to find their way back. Julie says tomorrow will be a live eviction and an endurance HoH comp. Hmm.

BB21: TV Show Scheduling & Live Feeds Start

Hopefully they don't announce this scheduling then change it like they did last season!

Tonight - Tuesday June 25 8pm ET/PT
Tomorrow - Wednesday June 26 - 8pm ET/PT

Next week --
Sunday - June 30 - 8pm ETPT
Tuesday - July 2 - 8pm ET/PT
Wednesday - July 3 - 8pm ET/PT

After next week --
Sundays -- 8pm ET/PT
Wednesdays - 9pm ET/PT
Thursdays (live eviction) - 9pm ET/PT

Mind you, those are subject to change on a whim!

Regarding the live feeds -

By the time we get to tonight's first part of the season premiere, they've been in the house for about a week with no live feeds on. We miss the whole dtart of alliances, perhaps we even miss a kerfuffle or brouhaha! Rumors are that we might have missed an eviction. It's happened before.

Anyway, the feeds go live after the second premiere night airs on the West Coast. So, we're talking midnight on Wednesday night/Thursday morning )dependent on your point of view). I might post something in the wee hours or might just wait until Thursday morning to post a full live feeds report. Wednesday evening is going to be a bit rough with live blogging the BB21 premiere and the two-hour season finale of TAR.

As for my live feeds reports scheduling, I have no really set schedule. I plan on posting a morning post and an evening one. I might pstt more if there's a lot of action going on, veto comp winner, etc. I always link the posts on my Facebook page for the show and Twitter -- both links on sidebar. So, if you follow them, you'll see that I posted.

Expect the Expected with Blog Big Brother Coverage

While the BB motto is "Expect the Unexpected," this blog runs pretty much as expected each season. Here's what you can expect"

  • Bullet points. Expect them. A lot.
  • Blog parties during aired shows East Coast Time. During those posts, I live blog the show, constantly updating the entry with major happenings. In the comments area, there's a party going on -- sometimes discussing the show, sometimes discussing snacks. I only ask that long, heated debates (politics, for example) are not discussed.
  • I ask that spoilers are not posted on the show posts as some people who follow them do not follow the live feeds.
  • Expect spoilers in every post that is not show post.
  • I post two, sometimes more, rarely less live feeds reports daily. Since the live feeds are live not taped like most of the shows, expect spoilers.
  • I'm only one person, so I don't post every breath they take in the house.
  • I post things which catch my interest, news about comp wins and more in the live feed reports. Often blog readers may also chime in with something they saw.
  • Each live feed report will have some screen caps from the live feeds.
  • Since there aren't dozens (hundreds?) of people updating this blog, wins and such can be taken as fact. I don't post rumors and if I see false information in a comment, that comment gets removed.
  • Although I hang a bit in Twitter, I don't post much content there. I do immediately post all blog entry links on both my Twitter and my Big Brother related Facebook page which are both under STUFF in the right sidebar.

 What I expect from YOU:

  • You can like or dislike any hamster this season, but please don't treat the fellow commenters poorly.
  • A post about a hamster is much different than a post about fans of said hamster.
  • Please use actual names or widely-accepted names for the hamsters in comments so people (like me) know to whom you're referring. For example, calling someone Vincent because you think he's a cool cat would just confuse everybody.
  • While mocking behavior of the hamsters is one thing -- after all, they agreed to be in the public eye -- I ask that posts about things they can't control like weight, height, etc. that are out of their control not be made. Such comments might be deleted.
  • Any hate speech is deleted.
  • Do NOT respond to trolls. During shows, I might not get to read comments until commercials or the end of the show. When a troll comes in and posts mocking us all, it's more work to delete a gazillion protests from blog defenders. I appreciate the support, but …! Trust me, I catch the troll posts and any identity cloning people and delete the posts.
  • I ask that comments be kept to a PG level. Just because the hamsters have potty-mouths, we don't need to do so. I have this blog set with Google for all ages and not adult content. I want to keep that setting.

Last, but not least …

For those of you who have asked, my health still is an issue. I'm out on long term disability from my workplace with back surgery issues, leg nerve and muscle damage, vision issues and a whole whiny list that I won't depress you by listing.

That said, I do appreciate any donations you can make to the blog if you enjoy the coverage and community provided here. Unlike many sites who receive money from CBS All Access subscriptions and such, I only get a smidgen from advertising revenue. I do put a lot of effort into the blog and it gives me warm fuzzies to see donations! (Plus it helps with the bills!) Now that I've hit you up for that -- if you do not have CBS All Access and want to sign up for it, go to my ol' buddy Dingo at hamsterwatch.com and get them through her.

May the best hamster win!

I hereby predict that Sam will win the MOST LIKELY TO SHOUT IN THE DIARY ROOM award. Personally, really loud people make me cringe. In the BB house, it can be good or bad. At least he's not shrilly and loud. He's a fan, his wife more of fan. I like that he admires Derrick's game, but Derrick played things very low key. I don't think Sam can do that. He does have a lot on the ball about strategy and the way things work in the BB house. I believe he might even be entertaining on the live feeds. He looks like he might even do okay in comps. But, will he win it all? I think of he can just calm down a bit, he might get near the end. I didn't like that he mentioned wanting to last at least to jury. On the other hand, I like (for the game) that he thinks he's ruthless.

She's a HUGE fan who went and contradicted herself by focusing on BB20. She talks a lot. I get the feeling that she's often the center of attention. Now, she commented about Tyler's great BB20 game. Her own self seems to not jibe with how he played the game. Tyler was much more low-key. Oh, my gosh … does she even stop talking to breathe? She's the one who has been rumor-linked to being Facebook friends with Holly, another one I'm not too keen on. I think she might have quick trouble in the house. Just in this interview, I've toned her out to like an ongoing Charlie Brown adult wah-wah noise -- not whining, mind you. Just noise. I swear she would be the person yapping on the cell phone in the quiet car on NJ Transit commuter trains.

Hmm … the Southern manners bit is ingrained. I can always tell that and the similar military "Ma'am" or "Sir" as coming out naturally, not fake. It becomes automatic and is certainly better than potty-mouth automatic. He seems to be a show fan, admiring Paul, Derrick and more. But I don't think for sure that he's going to pattern his own game after any of them. I get the feeling that he will be purely himself. My jury is out on him. He will either do extremely well or crash and burn early on. He should do well in comps, but his social game will make him or break him.

I do like Jessica. And, I find it personally refreshing that, while she's a model, she's not one of the bikini ilk that we so often see. She's the only hamster I can remember who hasn't released her actual age -- she claims to be 30ish. I don't know what's up with that. I genuinely hope that the internet is kind about her size. I think it is a more natural state, but I also think it may hinder her in some of the more physical comps. She claims to run marathons, though. More power to her! She is a fan of the show. Even so, I don't think she's going to be overly strategic. For some reason I think she is going to skate through mainly on a social game. We'll see.

Any thoughts on this group?

BB21: The Ika ET Canada Interviews - Part 3

Yes, I'm finally getting on with these -- you can find Part 1 HERE and Part 2 HERE.

Hmm … Holly. She seems to be a fan, perhaps a recruited one. But she did mention Jeff and Derrick from (for them) quite a few seasons back. She's a hamster with internet rumors that she's Facebook friends with Kathryn. I don't know. I just report this stuff. She certainly didn't make any mention of HUGE fan or the live feeds. I'm very iffy on her. I can't really get any sort of grasp on her at all. I can see where she might have some strengths in comps and such. But if I can't get a grasp, it makes me wonder about her social game. We all know that's more important these days than comp beasting.

Oh my gosh, she's like a real slim version of someone I know. Mo, no one from BB at all. At least we have a big fan in her and not a recruit. I'll forgive her for naming Paul as a favorite player and saying he was robbed. True, he had some very good strategy but his social game absolutely sucked and got worse the second time he was on the show. Hopefully she can mix his strategy with a better social game. I don't think she will be a physical comp beast but could be strong in mental comps. Perhaps she'll just come across as a bit silly and no real threat. I do love that she's the only one, when given the choice between a snake or a rat, she pointed out that snakes eat rats.

I like Ovi. He's the only one who has mentioned the live feeds. He actually had to watch the show for a course he took. Why, he's so likable he was voted student council president in his class at college. I like his choice of players picked -- Vanessa and Hayden. While Vanessa didn't win and really was too emotional, she was a strategy queen. I don't see him being as emotional and hope his strategic game is worthy. I don't know if he's going to be ruthless enough for the win. I'm also not sure how entertaining he'll be on the live feeds. But I like him.

Cliff says he's 54 but the CBS bio information has him at 53. Either age, he's the sole "old" guy in the house. I can't say how much I personally hate them sticking one older person in there! At least he is a fan of the show although watching since BB8 isn't quite "forever" to me! With that fan timeframe, he must have seen the season with Kevin. His line about all of his stories he can tell reminded me of Kevin. Kevin made it far, but didn't make it to the end. I don't think Cliff will be strong in comps. Hopefully his social game will keep him in for a while. I do like that he mentioned not liking Rachel Reilly. Her first season drove me up the wall. And, while she was good at comps, she played way too Drama Queen for my likes. He likes Ian and Vanessa. Good choices.
