'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Report - Wednesday 8/15 Daytime

Look! Up in the air! It's a bird! It's a plane! It's SNAKES ON A PLANE! Oh, no! It's a James Is A Snake Plane! Run for your lives! Once again, since Big Brother frowns on banner planes and doesn't allow the houseguests to see them, we'll just fly this Zoetawny graphics plane around the blog for our own amusement.

Here are the day's events (or lack thereof) from that Big Brother House of Silly Hamster Slop Slurpers:

  • James blamed the Wednesday of Slop on the past houseguest judges rather than on Danielle's recipe.
  • He also thought he was dying by noon. [Editor's note: @@ I'd hate to see this guy on a diet. It's a good thing he's slim!]
  • Janelle made her HOH entry in the HOH Blog for the CBS site.
  • When Janelle asked Marcellas if he asked Danielle about getting her vote, he said yes, but she didn't really say much.
  • Marcellas once again asked George for his vote. George didn't commit.
  • Janelle was reading the Bible and asked Will if he wanted her to read the part about betrayal. [Editor's note: A light is brightening... but is it too late?]
  • Erika said she needs the money for her mortgage.
  • Ah... a luxury comp? After a period of flame/clouds, the houseguests run in the house to find racks of clothes! Wait, I do believe it could be a... PROM. What a surprise, eh?
  • The outfits seem to be vintage clothing dated with the year they appeared.
  • Mike Boogie told Howie that now he has a chance to go to a second prom alone. Poor Howie.
  • It sounds like the clothes they're picking today will be what they wear tomorrow for the live show.
  • Will made Janelle a slop heart cake. He's good. He's very good.
  • Marcellas told Danielle that Janelle told him that Woogie made her put him up and that she's mad since they seem to be against him.
  • Danielle was talking to Will and the feeds got blocked. When they returned she was all alone and looked like she was crying.
  • Woogie told Danielle that they were voting out Marcellas. She wanted to tell him, but they said to let him find out on the live show. They didn't want a day of drama.
  • They went on an indoor lockdown and could hear noises of something being built in the backyard.
  • Will doesn't eat red meat and is worried about mad cow disease.
  • BB is letting them off the Slop hook early and they'll be able to eat at 9 PM.

Now you see why the update was slow in coming. There's not a heck of a lot going on today... so far.

'The Amazing Race 10' Teams

The Amazing Race 10 will premiere on Sunday, September 17 at 8:30 PM ET/PT in most viewing areas. The show's official CBS website is up and running with the teams and bios. As always, although I've been boggled with BB live feeds through the summer, I'll be blogging TAR with show recaps, east coast show night spoilers bulletins and news I gather from online sources. I hope some of you hang around for the fall show season discussing them, too. I plan to cover Survivor and I'm thinking about actually trying to cover Lost this season, as well. Here's to the fall show season!

The TAR 10 Teams:
Best Friends: Bilal, age 37, a medical supply technician and Sa'eed, age 39, a power lineman. Both are from Cleveland, Ohio. And, shades of Kaysar Ridha... both are from the Islamic faith and claim vastly different personalities.

Married Parents: David, age 32, a coal miner and Mary, age 31, a homemaker. Both hail from Stone, Kentucky. They met while working together at McDonalds a decade ago. They're not well-traveled although David traveled a bit while in the Army.

Father and Daughter: Duke, age 52, a tour company owner and his daughter Lauren, age 26, a speech and language pathologist. Both are from Warwick, Rhode Island. Another parent/adult child team hoping to recapture the closeness.

Best Friends: Dustin (it's a female Dustin), age 25, reigning Miss California and marketing director from Riverside, California. Kandice, age 24, reigning Miss New York and a Rockette. She's hailed as being from New York. Oh, obligatory blonde bombshells!

Brothers: Erwin, age 32, insurance company manager and Godwin, age 28, a financial analyst. Both are from San Francisco, California. Erwin is a Harvard grad and both brothers are over-achievers and ambitious. And both were given funky names by their parents! I know. I'm mean. It's probably better than naming your kid "Apple."

Best Friends: Kellie, age 22, a broadcast journalism student and Jamie, age 22, a recent college grad. Both are from columbia, South Carolina. Highly competitive and co-captains of the University of South Carolina's cheerleading squad. Lots of best friends this season, huh?

Best Friends: Lyn, age 32, a fourth-grade teacher from Birmingham, Alabama. Karlyn, age 32, a program analyst from Helena, Alabama. Friends since they were in 9th grade and, while not well-traveled, they believe they're resourceful. Chalk up another best friend team.

Friends: Peter, age 35, a clinical prosthetist from Laguna Beach, California. Sarah, age 31, a motivational speaker from Trabuco Canyon, California. Just friends, mind you. But with Iron Man competition backgrounds and Sarah with an artificial leg. Note what Peter's work is. This could be a very strong team indeed.

Dating: Rob, age 31, bartender and real estate student from Los Angeles, California. Kimberly, age 28, in public relations and also from Los Angeles. Is this our obligatory model/actor wannabe team? They're looking to prove they belong together. Okay, gag me now.

Dating: Tom, age 39, a college admissions director and Terry, age 45, a special events director. Both are listed as from New York City, New York. Here's the gay couple for the season. They think they're feisty, fun-loving and playfully nitpick at each other and want the race to prove they belong together. Okay. Will they out-fun the Cha-Chas?

Best Friends: Tyler (not last season's Tyler), age 29. a model and James, age 27, also a model. Both are from Los Angeles, California (at least now). They've both been through rehab, for exactly what I don't know. They're the eye-candy for women this year.

Best Friends: Vipul, age 29, is in sales and his female friend Arti, age 27, is a nutritional director. Both are from Windemere, Florida. They both speak several languages and are well-traveled.

So, those are the teams. An overwhelming amount of best friend teams this season, for sure. I see more cultural and ethnic diversity in the cast this season, but less age diversity. Twelve teams is a bit more than the norm, hmmm... not sure what to make of that. I'm getting psyched for the season ahead after a lackluster (in my opinion) season of Treasure Hunters I tried to use for my Amazing Race fix.

Pardon the non-Big Brother interruption. You may return to your regularly scheduled blog now. Or, at least when I next update the feeds reports!

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Quick Live Feeds Update - Wednesday Morning 8/16

Just a quick update as not too much is going on in the house so far, but a few rather important things have happened:
  • Now it turns out that the houseguests were only speculating about votes being cast today. They now think they'll be cast live again tomorrow. Dang, if they are guessing, they should tell us feed-watchers it's a guess!
  • George told Danielle and Mike (separately) that he will be voting for Erika to stay.
  • James hinted that he'll also vote for Marcellas to go despite all his talk at... er, to... Janelle last night.
  • George asked Mike Boogie what it would take to join Chill Town.
  • They're already fussing about hunger. It's their only Slop Day this week. @@

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Report - Overnight Into Wednesday 8/16

Once again, we have the Up All Night Crew in the house. Y'see, they don't need Kaysar around to be up until dawn their time - which happens to be past 9 AM from here. Sheesh. Darn vampires! So, while I posted the last entry in the wee hours, even more went on!

Here's the scoop to catch up on the overnight events from that Big Brother House of Hoodoo The Voodoo As Good As Woogie Do:

  • Janelle told Will that she felt pressured to put up Marcellas. [Editor's note: Um, well... that was the point! She was pressured and she caved into it. End of story, Janelle. You've been had!] Will smooth-talked her and worked his ways to steer her into thinking it was all in her best interest.
  • Danielle seemed to get herself quite drunk. Marcellas was right - she shouldn't drink. Danielle depends on her wits and insight; alcohol affects those aspects.
  • Will told Janelle that while he trusts Erika, Chill Town had a pre-season "thing" with Marcellas and Marcellas jumped ship immediately once in the house. He claims that shows how disloyal Marcellas is.
  • Janelle thinks Will will be safe next week even if he goes on the block.
  • Howie at times has strokes of brilliance and insight, which sort of makes one wonder if the Dumb Howie is all an act. He told HG this: "Will has me convinced that if I win HOH next week I should put myself up on the block." He sees what's going on with the PuppetMaster and James, while Janelle is so gullible with both of them.
  • Danielle kept telling the cameras what a great actor she is. [Editor's note: Maybe she's exaggerating the drunken bit? I dunno. I predict no Emmy and certainly no Oscar.]
  • In her camera confidentials (as opposed to Diary Room - she's doing this for the Internet), Danielle said her only allegiance is with the Legion of Doom and she's great. [Editor's note: @@ I have to give her an eyeroll! She knows how the LOD falls apart and right now Will's running circles around her gameplay. She's a very capable gameplayer, but she's made a few bad decisions in strategy with which she's now burdened.]
  • The HG ate as late as they could as today (Wed.) marks their one day of BB Slop this week. [Editor's note: You'd think they think they'll starve in one day the way they ate!]
  • Janelle told James she knew she shouldn't have put Marcellas on the block. James told her she cannot trust her "beloved doc." He goes on to tell her that they have to stop supporting Chill Town after this week as CT are not on their (S6) side. [Editor's note: This may sound confusing, but I think I know what's going on here. James is really with the LOD which includes CT. But... he wants to convince Janelle he's really on HER side, then backstab her once she's fallen for his act. While he's trashtalking Woogie, it's all part of his scheme and Woogie is in on it all, as is Danielle.]
  • James told Janelle that Erika and Mike Boogie were dating before the show.
  • James confronted Erika about the previous relationship with Boogie and she denied it. She wanted to know where he got the information. James told her he feels like both of them lied to him. [Editor's note: Erika holds her cards very close at times. While it sometimes seems she's not playing the game, she is. I don't think she trusts James and I doubt she'll ever give him any more information than is necessary.]
  • Will and Janelle talked - she's waffling on voting out Marcellas. He acted like he's okay with it, but kept his smooth-talking going. He asked her if she wanted him to wake up Mike to tell him that she's voting out Erika. [Editor's note: We know she can't vote as she's HOH - it's more what she WANTS the others to do rather than her personal vote.]
  • Will wants to do The Amazing Race with Janelle. He thinks that CBS owes him favors for being on the show... or something.
  • In a camera confidential to the Internet, Will told us he's trying to make this all good for TV and he loves his girlfriend Erin. He said he wants this season to be the best Big Brother ever.
  • Erika told Howie she had no intentions of playing the game "mean." She said she's a loyal person and doesn't backstab. [Editor's note: But, of course, she didn't tell him to whom she's loyal! Bwahaha!]
  • Howie called Will "Dr. Malicious." He's onto him, but will it do any good this late in the game?
  • Howie started being really disgusting to break up a Janelle/Will talk. He tends to revert to his inner 12-year-old boy at times. He also mooned the cameras. My eyes! My eyes!
  • Will told Janelle and Howie he can get them jobs in pharmaceutical sales (what April does!). Interesting - Mike offers restaurant jobs, Will offers drug sales (legal ones). I wonder if either could offer me a job writing stuff! Heh.
  • Janelle told Will, "Of course we trust you." Then she gave the camera a big wink. Is she onto him?
  • Will told Janelle that Erika will honor the deal to put up Danielle, but he thinks she will throw HOH so as not to even deal with the noms.
  • Will also told her that he had a deal with Kaysar and that he's only telling her now because Kaysar is gone. [Editor's note: And to get her to trust him!]
  • Alone together, Howie told Janelle that Will is just twisting things around to get her to believe him and to do what he wants her to do. Janelle said she's angry about what happened tonight. [Editor's note: I'm assuming she means the HOH meeting with CT/S6 and her change of heart to have Marcellas voted out.]
  • Howie and Janelle stayed up just about all night discussing evicting Erika. Howie thinks she's backstabbed them and won't feel bad at all betraying her. [Editor's note: Hmmm... they have to realize that they're not going to have the numbers. They know the rest of the house is for a Marcellas ouster with Danielle and George as wildcards (as far as they know).
  • Janelle had an epiphany - "Howie, do you think Will is hanging out with us just so he doesn't get voted out?" D'oh!
  • Howie and Janelle drilled each other with questions in anticipation of the HOH comp tomorrow.

As it stands now as I post this, Danielle and Marcellas are up. Marcellas is still trying to get her vote to stay. He thinks he has her, George, James and perhaps Howie as "Janelle is getting rid of Erika." She just kept brushing her teeth and didn't seem to really commit to anything.

There have been no more clues for the Coup d'Etat, so I will stick with my feelings that Mike won with "Ewe reap what ewe sew" or "You reap what you sow."

It looks like Janelle may have seen the light and realizes now that Will's playing her, but I bet he can damage-control that. It also seems that Janelle is putting blind trust into James once again. Silly buxom blonde, silly.

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Report - Tuesday Evening 8/15

<--- Ohhh, the big meeting in the HOH with James, Janelle, Howie and Woogie! Woogie are trying to do damage control so that Janelle will work with them on the Marcellas vote-out. Of course, that way they still are in like Flynn with all sides if they turn Janelle and Howie.

Will it work? Right now, it's not looking too good. I'll get more to the point after I get what's happened through the evening hours all written up.

Here are the happenings from the Big Brother House of Inconsistent Inconsistencies:

  • Howie confronted James about betraying S6. James said they did it to themselves by going with Chill Town and that Howie hasn't done anything this season but talk.
  • James told Janelle and Howie that Woogie are backdooring Marcellas.
  • James ran back to Woogie to report his conversation. He told them that they said Chill Town doesn't trust him. "Perfect!," says Mike.
  • Then James went to the Floaters and bragged about how he told off Janelle and Howie.
  • Chicken George apparently hasn't committed his vote. He told Woogie he's thinking of asking Marcellas for his slop pass in exchange for his vote.
  • James told Erika that Danielle cannot drink tonight. [Editor's note: But no one's the boss of Danielle. She shouldn't drink, but she ended up doing so.]
  • Marcellas told Mike that if he stays and gets HOH, he'll go after Howie and Janelle.
  • Mike told Janelle that he thinks Marcellas is going to target him and S6 - they should all (CT and S6) have a meeting in the HOH Room later.
  • Will started working his Will ways to turn Janelle's lead to vote out Marcellas instead of Erika. Oh, he can talk and dance those circles around her, can't he? He turns her right around and it becomes a Marcellas Bashfest.
  • Over at the Legend of Doom, Danielle wants Janelle to believe she's been betrayed by Chill Town.
  • Will talked to Danielle and told her that it's going to be very bad if James doesn't vote out Marcellas.
  • Erika complained more about the re-do of the HOH with the floaters.
  • Janelle was sticking to her guns about voting Erika out, but they all kept working on her. [Editor's note: She should have Gullible tattooed across her forehead this season. She's oblivious to the fact that everyone in the house except Howie and Chicken George are working her for their own benefit. Oh, add Marcellas to those two. He sees what's going on, but right now is powerless to stop it. Danielle has been shmoozing him, so he thinks she's the only one on his side.]
  • For the longest time, Janelle was telling both CT and S6 that she'd be "pissed" if Marcellas was voted out because that would mean everyone betrayed her. [Editor's note: Precisely why Woogie's tactic is to turn Janelle around. Then they have the best of both worlds. Janelle's not mad at them and Marcellas out/Erika remains.]
  • The meeting went on forever, it seemed. Finally she agreed to to talk to Erika.
  • Mike went running to get Erika and prep her for what she should say to Janelle - promise to go after Danielle and not S6, etc.
  • I found it interesting that when Mike was scheming with Erika about what she should say to Janelle, this screen cap (right) shows Erika at the Fraudulent wall.
  • In the end, after what seemed like forever, Janelle made a deal with Erika - she will be saved this week, but she must target Danielle if she wins HOH.
  • So, Will did it again. He is the PupperMaster and proves it at every turn.
  • He stayed shmoozing with Janelle for time on end while Danielle works her own magic with Marcellas to make him think she's his only friend. However, she's in the thick of it with Woogie and wants Marcellas to go instead of Erika.

There's where we stand right now. The houseguests have been told that votes will be taped tomorrow. They assume it's because the Coup d'Etat on the live show Thursday will take a lot of time, but really have no clue. They also have no idea that there's a Prom King/Queen vote going on.

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Digest - Daytime Tuesday 8/15

I'm going to start this with an off-topic comment to a comment from SSW - she asked what I thought of Keith demanding money to do a good job for Virginia on the Hell's Kitchen finale. I think it was low class, but I also think he wouldn't have asked Heather for it. Virginia picked a poor team outside of Keith and then insulted them. So, she kind of "reaps what she sows" (BB Connection!)

And... to Annie in NJ -- I think Mike has the Coup d'Etat question answered right. I think it is (with the clues phonetically) - Ewe reap what you sew.

Here are the events from today so far in that Big Brother House of Psychotic Syncophants:
  • Once again, Danielle actually got up around 7 AM their time.
  • Erika and Danielle discussed Danielle's vote. Danielle said she has to be honest with Marcellas and let him know that she has to vote for Erika to stay.
  • Mike Boogie and Erika are now smooching good morning. Apparently they aren't so worried they'll be found out these days.
  • Erika said they should just leave George out in the cold. Both she and Danielle are irked that he didn't tell them his vote. [Editor's note: But, aha! Erika isn't being completely honest with Danielle. George agreed yesterday to vote to keep Erika... to Erika. He was under pressure, but...!]
  • Mike thinks Danielle should go tell Marcellas he's gone. [Editor's note: Remember, Mike... Danielle doesn't like to do the dirty work for others!]
  • Mike Boogie wants Will to "go puppy dog-eyes" at Janelle to get her to support the Marcellas eviction.
  • James and Woogie tried to think of a plot to get Howie into a fight with Marcellas to show that Marcellas causes drama in the house and they're better off without him.
  • Danielle talked to George in the Storage Room telling him they need his vote to save Erika. George told her just to let him know what he needed to do. He's still tickled pink to not be nominated.
  • Woogie thinks they're working very hard for the show.
  • Danielle told Marcellas everyone they told was safe ended up evicted and asked if he was sure Janelle wasn't trying to backdoor him. [Editor's note: Dang, Will's good, Danielle's good. They both know what to say to whom to get something rolling. Will is better than Danielle as she tends to let herself show too much frustration at times. But, she's good.]
  • James is worried that if Janelle gets HOH next week, she'll put him up. [Editor's note: He should worry.]
  • James told George how much he's going to enjoy Janelle and Howie's downfall. [Editor's note: Notice he didn't mention to George that he wants George's downfall, too.]
  • Will's "one more reason the show's producers suck" - they should tell the jury to vote for who played the game the best, not out of friendship. He's right on that one.
  • Marcellas went to Janelle and told her about Danielle's backdoor discussion. When Janelle asked him if he thought she was backdooring him, he said no. He thinks he has votes to stay from George (who said he'd think about it, but didn't commit), Danielle (ha!) and James (double ha!). He doesn't know how Chill Town is voting. [Editor's note: Chances are he'll have one vote from the one person he didn't mention -- Howie.]
  • Erika and George talked again. She's still pressuring him although he seemed to say okay to voting to keep her from what I saw last night. Maybe I missed something.
  • Erika and Danielle are still shocked that Will convinced Janelle to put up Marcellas - it's the perfect person.
  • Will (lying) told Howie and Janelle that unless Marcellas slapped Boogie or something, he wouldn't vote him out. [Editor's note: Gullible, gullible, gullible...]

And, now you've been updated. Ready for the show?

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Report - Overnight Into Tuesday 8/15

Here are the hoppin' happenings from the overnight hours in that Big Brother House of When Good TV Goes Bad:
  • Will, Janelle, Danielle and Marcellas played Murderer with the deck of cards.
  • It was a bit refreshing to see them have a good time, laughing and not strategizing.
  • But, in the long run, it was a bit boring.
  • Howie joined them in his underwear. Now, there's where things might get a bit strange, eh?
  • Howie tried to play the card game, but he didn't understand it. He decided he only wanted to visit his Jack Shack, then shower.
  • Aha! A question answered (I was confused) - Marcellas fussed that he wishes he wasn't going to sequester and would be able to go on with his life. [Editor's note: I wasn't sure if it was this week or next. Oh, Marcellas will be alone for a week!]
  • Howie gave Internet viewers a guided tour of the Jack Shack. Eep.
  • When he finished not being the Master of his own Domain, he said "that was the bee's knees!" Very odd.
  • Will told Janelle and Howie that he and Mike Boogie BOTH won the Coup d'Etat question, but no one knows. [Editor's note: @@ Eyeroll!]
  • James really thinks the L.O.D. can make the final four - himself, Danielle, Will and Mike.
  • Janelle told Will that Marcellas and Erika wanted her to nominate Woogie the week she nominated Diane.
  • Howie told Janelle and Will that keeping Will was the best decision they ever made. He also said Chicken George sold out to Marcellas, Danielle and company.
  • Janelle, Will and Howie plan to "test" Erika by telling her they're going to go after Chill Town. Well, not Will tell her, obviously!
  • Will said that James will have a lot to answer for when he gets out of the house because the Internet fans see it all. Howie, Janelle and Will spent a good deal of time trashtalking James, but you notice he's not on the block. Hmmm...

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Update - Monday Evening 8/14

Another sloshy sloppy night in the house... and I'm not talking BB Slop!

Without further ado, here are the evening's events from that Big Brother House of Wanton Lads and Lassies:
  • Mike Boogie is concerned that Chicken George won't align with anyone. I read that as Mike Boogie is concerned that Chicken George won't align with Chill Town.
  • The houseguests started giving shout-outs to people they know, so we got bad music and the flame/clouds loop. Ow. Quit it.
  • Janelle told Howie that she was thinking about what Danielle said last night (noms?) and that she's psycho. Both Janelle and Howie think James might "screw them over." Them as in Janelle and Howie.
  • Howie said that James has gone from being a floater to jumping ship. He doesn't want James and Danielle in the house. [Editor's note: Well, it took a while, but Howie sees the light! But is it too late to stop James' wheels in motion?]
  • Howie remembered that it's Maggie's birthday today. Interesting.
  • BB gave the houseguests pizza, beer, and cake to celebrate the mid-season point. The cake has their memory wall pictures painted on it.
  • The best part? George is allowed to eat for the party! Good for him!
  • Unfortunately for the live feed watchers, BB also provided music for the houseguests. Oh, they provided us music, too -- the loud nasty blaring theme song and video of flame/clouds! Ratsafratsa...!
  • When the feeds return, they're in the backyard and there seems to have been a huge food fight -- food in the pool and everywhere.
  • Marcellas, Danielle and Erika complained that the ones who do the damage (broken chair, etc.) never pay for their ill behavior. [Editor's note: I'm assuming they mean Will and Mike. Janelle doesn't break things. Howie rarely breaks things. If he does, he stands there and looks confused.]
  • The food fight apparently started when Janelle shoved cake down Will's pants. It sounds like everyone was involved. George did a lot of the cleaning up.
  • Oh, juicy news! Erika gave Mike Boogie a lap dance. Marcellas fussed about it, so it must have happened.
  • George is still walking around smiling because he wasn't nominated. Earlier, Janelle told him that she meant to tell him that he wouldn't go up, but she couldn't catch him alone.
  • James told Mike Boogie that they have to vote Marcellas out as a surprise on the live show to crush Janelle and Howie's spirits.
  • James also told Mike that if the "secret power" is that he can send someone home, make it Janelle.
  • Will and Erika talked. He told her that it's set that Marcellas will leave, but she has to convince Janelle that she'll go after Chill Town. He said they have to get rid of Janelle or she'll keep winning comps. He also told her that Janelle has no clue that they're (Erika and Woogie) working together.

That's it for now. Later!

Some Answers to Questions in Comments, Etc.

Yes, I know I could respond to comments by commenting myself in the comments. But, I have the "secret power" to overthrow the comments and make an entry. I call it the Coup d'Entree. Er, wait... I was watching Hell's Kitchen and have entrees on my mind. (Yay! Heather won!)

Never mind.

Since some things keep coming up, I'll answer them the best I can.

Several folks are unclear on the Coup d'Etat. Well, so am I. I don't think BB has been overly clear about it. But here's what I do know:
  • The saying put together from the clues is to be a "common saying which could apply to the Big Brother house/show." Now, that doesn't mean something specific from within the show. Thus, Mike Boogie's "You reap what you sow" fits. Female sheep = ewe, large thread spool and needle (sew) and the appearance of the Grim Reaper (reap).
  • Julie Chen's exact words to us were: "Whoever wins this power will have the ability to overthrow the HoH and replace their nominations on the spot at any of the next three evictions. The Coup d’Etat has an added twist, though, as only the winning houseguest will know what they have won, and the power will remain secret until it is used."
  • Julie Chen's exact words to the houseguests were: "Beginning tonight, there is a new power up for grabs that could completely change the course of the game. But, only the person who wins it will know what it is and it will remain a secret to everyone until it is used. Here's how you can win this power: Over the next few days, you'll be given clues to a well-known phrase that applies to the Big Brother game. Once you think you know what the phrase is, you will disclose your answer in the privacy of the Diary Room. The first person to answer correctly will win this power and could make Big Brother history by shaking up the game like never before. But, be careful. You will only have one chance to give your answer so please be 100% sure. The winner will find out who they are and just exactly what this special power is one week from tonight."
  • So, yes... if Mike Boogie won it, he MAY know he won - she told the HG and us two different things. But he has no clue what it is that he's won. That's for sure.

An anonymous commenter (please sign off with a name at the end of your text so I won't be calling so many "anon") asked how Kaysar was on Regis and why wasn't he sequestered. And, then asked if anyone is coming back.

My thoughts on those questions: I don't think any of the houseguests will be returning this season even though the houseguests think so. We already have more houseguests left than weeks left of the show and I think we'll see a week of a double eviction. I really have nothing to base this on but my own observations, looking at the schedule and such.

Smokey wanted to know if Erika and Mike Boogie are really a couple.

From what's been said and done on the feeds for more than the last few weeks, I do think they're close, if not indeed a couple. Even a pre-season interview with Erika's ex Sloshie... er, Josh... said they're very good friends. So, perhaps some is an act for cameras or the never-ending quest for "good TV!" - but I think there's something there.

Penny asked what Erika and Danielle guessed as the saying for the Coup d'Etat.

They both went with "Do Not Assume" using Dolly, the cloned sheep and Dolly, the ex-houseguest, along with the real sheep. George guessed "Expect the Unexpected."

Anonymous @ 12:44 asked, "Am I the only one who likes James and Danielle?"

Yes, you are.

Heehee! No. I see a lot of support for both players out there. I personally don't care for James at all, but I think Danielle is one of the best players ever at the game.

Kelly mentioned that the competitions producer is new this season.

Yes, waah! My only real Big Brother connection, Jym Buss, left the show after last season. He was there since about BB3, if memory serves.

Arlene wondered why the Spy Cam in the HOH Room isn't utilized.

They actually do use it. Danielle was very into it, more so than Janelle. There are some time guidelines for using it - no more than a half an hour, but I don't know how often they can use it. Of course, it doesn't see everywhere and has no audio. So, at times it could help, but sometimes it's best to just go see what's going on for yourself.

Kelly asked who in the house I'd say would relate to me or be like me (or something like that - and she asked everybody, not just me).

Yipes! None of the ones this season. If anyone, mind-wise but not style or fashion or tattoos, I'd say Nakomis. Of the ones left, I'm more like George - hopefully not as goofy-acting in public.

Petals is outraged (a bit) and thinks the show is/may be rigged. She wants to know if I, as a buyer of feeds, feel I should get a refund.

Nope. I think it's steered a bit more than actually rigged. I think they have their hands full with this group of houseguests. These HG know the rules, the tricks, are spoiled, demanding and push the limits. In a way, the HG do have power. They could wreck the show and the livelihoods of all who are employed by the show. So, I think we're seeing more intervention, more blocking of feeds due to the HG actions and words, etc. My own key questions regarding the value of the feeds... am I entertained? Is it worth the 30 cents a day (whatever) that I would waste on fattening stuff or something? Yes, they're worth it. No, I don't want a refund.

Sue wondered if Woogie ever seem sincere or are they playing to the live feeds and cameras.

Yes and yes.

Lili commented on what a great community this is, folks talking about the show, folks not fighting and how much better it is than many BB message boards.

:-) My blog for last year's show had many of the same commenters and there are tons of new ones. It was like this last year, too. Every now and then there may be a skirmish, but I try to stop them. But, 99% plus it's just fantastic. I guess WE'RE the All Stars, eh?

Petals also wondered if where she lives is anywhere near where I live.

I don't think so. I think where you are is Northern Jersey and I'm Union County. I'm not originally from here, so unless I've gone through a town for work or just wandering (or lost), I don't know a lot of the towns.

Okay, the last question had nothing to do with the show. You may draw a big red X over it on your monitors with a Magic Marker.

Or not.

Another report will be posted covering the evening events, so stop on back!

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Report - Daytime Monday 8/14

Unlike Will, I'll try not to lie. Whenever I've tried to lie, it tends to come back and bite me.

I want to let you know that while I don't respond to every comment posted, I do indeed read them all. I'm thrilled that most folks are enjoying the blog as much as they are and I'm proud of the community that's grown in the comments area. Have I told you lately that you guys and gals rock? You do! I will be answering some questions posed in a separate entry, but I do read them all.

Here are the events from today so far in that Big Brother House of a Sulking Gay Black Man and Frat Boys:

  • For the first time in weeks, Danielle actually got up before 7:30. Of course, no one else did.
  • Well after 9:00 AM when others were starting to get up, she told Erika that she had been up since 5:30 because of George's snoring. [Editor's note: She has not!]
  • Mike told Erika and Danielle that he thinks George is just George, no big schemer or player. Both women said he played checkers well and that's a sign he uses strategy. [Editor's note: I think chess would be more telling. Or, better yet for the house, RISK!]
  • Near 10:00 AM, BB announced that the POV Ceremony would begin in two hours. [Editor's note: Okay, that would be noon. Let's keep track!]
  • Danielle thinks that if an America's Choice contest were held now, S6 wouldn't win anything. She thinks the contenders would be Will, Mike or Chicken George.
  • Danielle and George both think Woogie will make it to the end.
  • James complained to George, Erika and Mike Boogie that he hated the way Howie and Janelle celebrated upon winning HOH or Veto... or winning. [Editor's note: I think he hates them winning anything, too!]
  • Mike said Erika wouldn't put up a Chill Town if she won HOH. [Editor's note: And he should know!]
  • Woogie worked on Janelle to put Marcellas in Danielle's place on the block... again.
  • Will said Danielle told Erika not to knock him out of the POV Comp and they would save her.
  • Mike Boogie told Howie and others that Erika is probably laughing at him in the Diary Room, but he'll have the last laugh. [Editor's note: @@ Have to roll the eyes, have to!]
  • About 15 minutes AFTER the POV Ceremony was to begin, Janelle broke down and said she'd put Marcellas on the block.
  • Mike Boogie reported to Danielle that they succeeded in convincing Janelle to put up Marcellas.
  • Janelle told Marcellas and told him he's NOT going home. [Editor's note: SHE won't vote him out. She can't vote. But, dollars to doughnuts, I bet he'll be voted out over Erika unless the Coup d'Etat affects the eviction nominations.]
  • Mike still thinks he's won the Coup d'Etat and so do the others. He still has no clue what the "secret power" is.
  • Marcellas is not a happy camper. Not that he usually is this season, more more not happy than usual.
  • Mike wants to spread paranoia about the "secret power." [Editor's note: Remember, Mike... with great power comes great responsibility.]
  • Finally, at about 1 PM their time, the POV Ceremony was held and... Marcellas sure is on the block with Erika.
  • Marcellas claimed it was "the alpha-males ganging up and picking on the [homosexual]."
  • George is shocked that he'll be around another week. He was fully expecting to be nominated. Janelle told him when she won HOH that she wasn't going to nominate him, but would most likely put him on the block if the Veto was used.
  • Janelle keeps telling Marcellas he's safe because she thinks he is. He knows he's not safe.
  • James thinks Erika never broke her ribs (in the slop trough food comp.)
  • When Danielle asked James what he wants to do, he said "Chicken George is as stupid as Howie and annoys me, but I want Marcellas out."
  • Mike Boogie worked on Danielle for the Marcellas oust.
  • George went to see Janelle in the HOH room to thank her for not nominating him. He told her, "Maybe some day in the future, you'll need me. I'll be there for you. I remember." [Editor's note: And, so he does.]
  • Marcellas approached George looking for a vote to stay. George was nice, but didn't commit.
  • Woogie decided it might be best not to mention "the secret power" at all to scare people.
  • Erika asked George if she still had his vote to stay and he told her they'd talk later. [Editor's note: When they want him for something, they're all his best friends, eh?]
  • George got a giggle out of his newly-found popularity. Talking to himself, he said, "They're all asking ME for a vote!"
  • George told Erika and Danielle he'd vote for Erika to stay. [Editor's note: He's always been a bit closer to her than Marcellas. Not unexpected.]
  • Danielle and Janelle want BB to give the HG alcohol for the evening. "It makes for better television!"
  • Will wondered why there's been no America's Choice yet this season.

And, there you are... updated!

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Bulletin - POV Ceremony

Danielle used the veto to save herself. Janelle put Marcellas on the block in her place. Good. She left George alone.

A full report of today's events will be posted soon. Please stop back!

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Report - Overnight Into Monday 8/14

Here are the overnight events from that Big Brother House of Boozers, Smoozers and Smoochers:

  • Boogie wants Janelle and Will to take over the Red Room.
  • They played Spin the Bottle in the hot tub. Erika, in particular, enjoyed kissing Mike.
  • In the game, she gave Janelle a quick kiss (more of a peck), too.
  • This was all wine-fueled. Of course.
  • Howie got to kiss Will. [Editor's note: I bet he was happy! Howie, not Will.]
  • Marcellas told James that he wouldn't put up him (James) or Janelle if he got HOH next week.
  • Danielle talked Howie into taking off his shorts in the hot tub. [Editor's note: Hiding my eyes.]
  • Mike Boogie mentioned to James that it will look bad that he's fooling around with the person they're all voting off this week.
  • Janelle told Danielle she doesn't cut deals. Danielle told her she (D) has no alliance. [Editor's note: @@]
  • Will told Janelle to get crazy and put James on the block.
  • Janelle told Howie that she thinks putting up CHicken George may be best. [Editor's note: No! No!]
  • James pushed Janelle more to put George on the block.

Still no real decision from the buxom blonde.

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Report - Into The Night 8/13

Well, well, well... has the Coup d'Etat been won? If so, will its power be used for Good or Evil? After all, that's the theme this season -- Good vs. Evil. But, as the days go on, it's getting a bit harder to tell who's on what side.

But, that's Big Brother for you. If it were predictable, we wouldn't get so addicted. The shake-ups this season keep us hooked no matter for whom we cheer.

Here are the late afternoon and evening happenings from that Big Brother House of Wisftful Whiners and a Devil Doc:
  • James told Danielle he'd "bury the %#&$ and dance on her grave" - about Janelle. Then he added, "Except she'd have to be recycled because everything's so fake."
  • Erika told Danielle that if the Coup d'Etat phrase is "you reap what you sow" she'll argue it because she never heard it. [Editor's note: Remember, that wasn't the guess she made in the Diary Room on the show and they only get one shot at it. Although several discussed that saying when seeing the needle and thread (huge as they were), the guesses we saw on TV were made before the spool clue.]
  • Howie wanted Danielle to tell him what L.O.D. (Legion of Doom) means. She told him Love One Day as in Love One Day at a Time. [Editor's note: Well, she was put on the spot! I'm sure she would have been more creative had she received some warning he was going to push for the meaning!]
  • James and Mike Boogie once again talked about dumping Janelle the first chance they can get.
  • Howie got in his taunting mode, but not to the full hurricane. He told Erika, Chicken George, Danielle and Marcellas that they were the "True Four" in an alliance. Marcellas got very irked with him. Erika and Danielle were obviously a bit ticked. George just started singing "We All Live In The Big Brother House" to the tune of "Yellow Submarine" and then said "and one gets thrown out each week."
  • From a discussion Mike Boogie and Janelle had, it seems that BB has clarified the rules of the Coup d'Etat for the house and emphasized it's a common saying that could be applied to Big Brother. That was part of the instructions all along, but the houseguests (like us) were a bit confused.
  • Janelle told Will that Marcellas tried to make a deal with her to put up George or Mike this week and make a truce with Danielle and Erika. She says she didn't buy it.
  • Marcellas thinks that the only ones in the game who are clean are Danielle, Erika and himself. [Editor's note: @@ Gotta roll the eyes. Gotta.]
  • Erika and Janelle talked about how innocent the shower escapade from last night was. [Editor's note: @@!]
  • Will did a shout out to a friend asking him to call Erin (his girlfriend) to tell her nothing happened in the shower. Mike told him that he didn't know if they controlled it anymore. [Editor's note: The show? The game? Themselves?]
  • Howie and James started in once again on Janelle to put Marcellas on the block.
  • The third clue apparently showed up at the house - the Grim Reaper (who must've pointed at Danielle because she freaked out about it). Mike Boogie rang the bell for the Coup D'Etat and reported back all excited, sure he's won. [Editor's note: Keep in mind that BB said they won't tell the winner that he/she won until Thursday, so he's going on gut feeling. Although, the Grim Reaper did cinch the Ewe Reap What You Sew, to spell it according to the clues. He's probably right if he's the first one in with that.]
  • Erika and Danielle are really angry with themselves for guessing after the first clue.
  • Janelle told Marcellas that "the others" want him put up as a pawn. He's upset. He says that if he's put up, he'll be voted out. [Editor's note: And, he's probably very right.]
  • Danielle and Marcellas think that Janelle told Marcellas her strategy for extra votes on the jury. [Editor's note: Hmmm... that starts after the 5th week, right?]
  • Marcellas thinks that Woogie getting the Coup d'Etat is the worst imaginable scenario.
  • Will buttered up Janelle a bit more with his Will-ful Ways... trying to talk her into putting Marcellas on the block. [Editor's note: He always has a motive, but he sweet-talks his way to his point, all around it and back to the point again.]
  • Mike Boogie worked the Put Marcellas Up bit with Janelle, too. He isn't as good at shmoozing as Will is, though.
  • Mike Boogie offered James a job at one of his restaurants.

That's where we stand as I get this posted. It looks like Mike Boogie most likely won the Coup d'Etat; Janelle hasn't made a decision regarding who to put on the block when Danielle (most likely) saves herself tomorrow with the POV and Will is still working his wonders telling everyone what they want to hear. Amazing.

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Report - Sunday 8/13 So Far

I'm surprised the houseguests aren't just a wee bit hungover today. I know I would be if I drank so much and acted a bit on the crazy side. I'd be either hungover or hiding from embarrassment. Ah, but I'd never choose to be in that house in the first place, so...!

Here are the events of the day so far from that Big Brother House of Wining While Whining:

  • They slept in until past 11 AM (PDT) and BB seemed to let them do so by not blasting them with music by 10 AM. Only Danielle was up doing housework for the "early" part of the morning. Read "early" as around 9:30 or 10.
  • Will and Danielle talked. She said she "can't" vote Chicken George out, so she'd have to vote Erika if he goes up in her place on the block. [Editor's note: Good. She's keeping her word to George. Danielle has a track record for being honest once she gives her word. She told Kaysar she was going to put him on the block and more.]
  • Will told Janelle that James is in an alliance with Danielle... again. It looks like he's trying to get her to put James on the block in place of Danielle. [Editor's note: Although, I don't think he really cares who goes in the long run, as long as it isn't a Woogie! He may be worried that Janelle is considering putting Mike on the block, so he's for the replacement to be James, George, Marcellas...]
  • Howie thinks James should go. "He [BLEEPED] us yesterday, he'll do it again!" [Editor's note: Will they trust him again tomorrow?]
  • Will told Janelle she should use the HOH Spy Screen to watch for James plotting with Danielle. All the time he's talking with her, he's acting nervous and like his only concern is her safety - he'll go along with whatever decision she makes. [Editor's note: Dang, he's so good at this. Tell them what they want to hear, be their new best friend and some are so gullible... they'll believe anything you say. After all, he's your new Best Buddy!]
  • Howie, Janelle and Will talk about making a deal with Erika with the intention of putting James on the block as the target.
  • We got flame/clouds feeds-blocking when Howie said he told the producers he didn't want to be in the house with James.
  • Then Mike Boogie steps in and convinces Janelle that they need James for the numbers. Argh!
  • Mike Boogie ran to James and Danielle to tell them that he got Janelle NOT to put James on the block. He coached James what to say when he's confronted by CT and S6. Double-argh!
  • James blatantly lied (as expected) about working with Danielle. [Editor's note: Not that I would expect him to admit it. Admitting it would be the nail in the coffin for him.] He also claimed he made an innocent error in the recent POV comp; he didn't throw it.
  • And, guess what? "I'm just a buxom blonde" Janelle bought it hook, line and sinker! Sheesh. Where is her mind this season? How can she be so blind to what's going on? :::thumping head on keyboard:::
  • Now the talk swung back to putting Marcellas on the block. [Editor's note: I could deal with that. He's not fun to watch this season and seems miserable most of the time. But, I think taking out James would be a good strategical move for Janelle. He's got secret and not-so-secret alliances going with everyone in the house and no one really trusts him.]
  • Howie told Janelle she's a pushover. He's right.
  • Janelle didn't commit to putting up Marcellas. She said she would think about it.
  • Howie and Janelle told James not to sell them out for Danielle. Janelle told him that the DR compared Danielle to Maggie. [Editor's note: Whether that's true, I don't know. I do know that I like and respect Danielle as a gameplayer in the house more than I ever did Maggie.]
  • Meanwhile, Woogie told Danielle how much they're for her and support her in the game. [Editor's note: Now, don't tell me she buys their lies, don't even go there! It's bad enough Janelle is blind, we don't need Danielle bumping into her in the dark cover that is Chill Town. Keep in mind, I think Will is indeed the best player ever in the house. But Danielle, in my opinion, was second to Will. Hmmm...]
  • James reported back to Woogie that Janelle believed everything they and he said. [Editor's note: Emphatic @@ at the Gullible!]
  • Will told Mike Boogie that if Danielle gets HOH next week, they'll have to save Janelle with the veto. [Editor's note: I think they would like the Danielle/Janelle saga to continue. Heck, it takes the target off of them. But, it also may have to do with Janelle not planning to put Mike on the block this week.]

There you go. No more new clues for the Coup d'Etat and no indication that any houseguest has won it.

Graphic by Zoetawny.

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Digest - Evening and Overnight Into Sunday 8/13

Since flying a banner plane over the house has been an exercise in futility since the big banner plane second season, we'll just have to settle for a Zoetawny graphics banner plane. Oh, it can fly about the blog and Big Brother won't make the houseguests go inside and draw the shades. Maybe it can send telepathic messages through the Internet and Janelle may wake up! She trusts those who would be all too quick to "throw her under the bus" as they're putting it this season.

I can't help but wonder about the poor bus driver of this Bus o' Death with all these houseguests getting thrown under his vehicle harum-scarum. He'll probably need to take an early retirement. "Every time I drive my route in Studio City, I'm hitting pedestrians! I don't know where they're coming from; it's like they're falling from the sky! Or, like a giant force just throws them under my bus! I have to quit! I can't take it anymore!"

What? You came here to read about last night's events in the house? You didn't come here to listen to me ramble on about silliness. Eep! Onto the happenings from that Big Brother House of Shomances On Exhibition:

  • Howie irked Erika by talking about her previous boyfriends from BB - Robert (her ex on Ex-Factor season) and Josh (season 1). Josh was in the BB Seance on last week's live show. "No more ex-boyfriends, please Big Brother," Erika shouted.
  • George prepared about every steak west of the Rockies for dinner, planning a huge BB BBQ.
  • BB gave them alcohol, so they imbibed like the predictable little hamsters they are.
  • Danielle and Erika discussed the possibility that Janelle might be willing to have a truce, but Erika thinks not. I think not, too.
  • James said, "Both sides have a retard, Howie and Chicken George." [Editor's note: And some folks wonder why I don't like James, eh? That's an example of his mean ways.]
  • Danielle got drunk, James wanted her to stay away from the others so she wouldn't pull a "Mike Boogie" referring to the night he got drunk and made everyone angry.
  • James, Erika, Marcellas and Danielle spent a long time trashing Janelle. [Editor's note: It's as if they have a quota of time they must spend every day doing so - it's always the same old trashtalking and slamming, nothing new or exciting.]
  • Danielle tried to figure out a way to get Howie because she feels that he makes Janelle strong.
  • Will told James that they have to get rid of Janelle because "she's flirting with me and putting a huge target on me." [Editor's note: Sure, Will.]
  • Erika decided that they (floaters) were evil, they're the villains, woohoo!
  • After George cooked for them all, James said, "He's so [bleeping] annoying. Can we throw him on the grill and eat walrus tomorrow?" [Editor's note: See. He's just plain mean. I understand playing the game, but there's a cruelness in his words. George has done nothing to him.]
  • Erika is a loud and brazen drunk. Not pretty. She was yelling for them to come and get her because she's on the block.
  • Janelle said that she actually liked April - that she (A) just "fell in with the wrong crowd." [Editor's note: I've also heard Howie mention that he's seen and talked to April since last season. Out of the house does seem to be a different reality.]
  • Woogie says they want to go on The Amazing Race and win twice as much.
  • Will told Danielle not to worry, they took care of POV for her and will take care of this, too. I assume he means they'll work to make sure she's not evicted. But they also have an Erika connection (Mike), so I would guess the pawn (George?) will be their target. Dang, I hope that Janelle changes her mind and puts up James or Marcellas!
  • Danielle suggested sacrificing Erika now and Will said okay. [Editor's note: But do we believe him? I don't!]
  • Janelle got drunk. [Editor's note: Oh, why do these fools just keep on drinking that alcohol? Maybe I'm just old, but I know that alcohol isn't conducive to thinking or planning. It's better to be the one NOT drunk and pick up on what the others do or say.]
  • Audio from Erika in the Diary Room came through the feeds. She was offering to flash the BB person for more wine and he said not to do so. [Editor's note: @@ - yes, I didn't break my eyerolling... yet.]
  • Erika and Janelle, drunk in the hot tub, tried to convince Will to take off his shorts. He declined.
  • Both Erika and Janelle were more than flirting with Will - he actually looked a bit panicked. It's a hoot when Will doesn't quite know how to cope with a situation. And, in this case, it was two drunk women almost ready to molest him.
  • "But... but... I'm dating someone!" cried Will.
  • The girls try to drag Will with them in the dark HOH room. Mike got all into it and started to take off his shorts, but Erika told him not to. They wanted Will! Will kept coming out of the shower stall as if to show he still had his shorts on and would not be seduced by two crazy drunken women. Finally BB made them turn the lights back on.
  • Uh-oh. There is now whipped cream and um... body licking. [Editor's note: Covering my eyes.] Janelle wants Will to lick whipped cream off of her, Erika licked the cream off Mike. [Hiding my eyes again.]
  • They're all egging Will on - they want him to kiss Janelle.
  • Will tried to get out of it... "But I'm a bad kisser! You don't want me to kiss you!"
  • Finally they gave up, leaving Will alone in the shower.
  • He then told Janelle that "This is one of life's awkward moments. You just don't know what to say."
  • He told Erika to go to the Diary Room to do "damage control." He seems really embarrassed.
  • Erika and Mike Boogie snuggled and kissed again. It's very apparent that they do indeed have a pre-show relationship.
  • James thinks he's been nice all season. [Editor's note: @@]
  • Will, Howie and Janelle call their alliance "The Perfect Storm." [Editor's note: I think the whole house should name their alliance as the Sub-Alliances or something.]
  • Will pried James for information and played into what James wants by saying they had to get Janelle out because she's too smart. [Editor's note: That's what Will does best - he gets information for his own game by telling others what they want to hear and they just eat it up. Amazing.]
  • Danielle said she couldn't sleep because George was "calling hogs" - snoring - by her bed.
  • Will flirted with Janelle, for his own personal game, of course. He doesn't know what to do when it all gets turned on him. But when he controls the flirting, he's fine with it.
  • Howie asked Janelle if she has a deal to take Marcellas to the end and she told him she didn't.
  • Janelle now thinks that James is working with Danielle... again. Let's see if she changes her mind again tomorrow.
  • Howie thinks that George has never voted the way he said he would. [Editor's note: Not true. When George has given his word, he's stuck with it. He just didn't commit to others.]

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Digest - Saturday 8/12

<--- Thanks to the anonymous commenter who said, "When James sleeps, he dreams he's Will" - Zoetawny made up a graphic!

Again, some answers to comments questions will start this off -
1. No, I don't want to be on the show. I would be horrible at it!
2. Yes, the BB houseguests receive a weekly stipend for the time they are sequestered prior to the show, in the house and for the time they're sequestered for the jury. That's always been the case. In the past, the stipend has been $750 a week. This year for the big stars (cough), it's increased so that supposedly their net weekly pay is $2,000. That would put it near $4,000 a week. That's why folks like Diane and Marcellas (perhaps Howie) really want to make it to sequester -- to receive that amount without really working. The winner still receives a half million and second place is still $50,000.

Onto the events of the day from that Big Brother House of Revolving Door Power:
  • Danielle and James were the first awake, just before 10 AM their time. They tried to figure the votes and decided that Danielle would probably be voted out unless they can get POV.
  • A bit before 10 AM, BB announced that the Veto Competition would start in 90 minutes. [Editor's note: Let's time BB!]
  • Will complained that a 30 minute wake-up warning would work perfectly fine - they needn't be awakened so early. [Editor's note: @@ Ten o'clock is not early!]
  • Will told BB via the cameras that if he's not chosen to play for Veto, they better find him something to do. After all, they woke him up early. [Editor's note: @@]
  • Erika, Danielle, James, Marcellas and Will are the Veto Players. Marcellas told Erika he'd save her if he wins.
  • Marcellas and Janelle had a huge verbal brouhaha (I just like to say "brouhaha" whenever I can, humor me). He screamed at her that everyone knew the HOH Comp was rigged for her to win and on and on. And on. He told her he's never said anything bad about her. [@@ - BOLD eyeroll] Janelle went back at him that he didn't play the veto to help her. He claimed that their alliance (his and Janelle's) is all he has and they were to go to the end together. He also told her that Danielle has James in her pocket. [Editor's note: Hey, Mister... I got a snake in my pocket. Wanna hear it hiss?] Then he told her James has a deal with Woogie, too! [Editor's note: Listen to him this once, Janelle.]
  • They hug and say they love each other. [@@]
  • At about 1:15 PM PDT, the feeds blocked for the POV Comp which BB slated for 11:30 AM. See! I told you!
  • Danielle won Veto and Janelle's mad at James for somehow protecting Danielle in the Veto.
  • James told Janelle she's in his alliance and he wouldn't lie to her. [@@ If I keep rolling my eyes, I'm going to get a headache.]
  • James accused Janelle of lying to him and giving other people information before telling him. Howie tried to calm both down.
  • Meanwhile, Marcellas is telling Erika and Danielle that James is in cahoots with Woogie.
  • It seems April, Jack and Scott were part of the Veto Comp.
  • Janelle had warned George last night that he may be put on the block if the Veto saves a nominee. It seems they're still leaning that way. They counted the votes they'd have to evict Erika.
  • Janelle mentioned that Erika seemed happy that Danielle won Veto - was she (Erika) stupid? -- Janelle asked that, not me.
  • Woogie is trying to do damage control and have anyone but Chill Town on the block. They claim no one would vote for George to leave. [Editor's note: They would vote him out in a second to save Erika!]
  • Woogie are still pushing the Marcellas angle, too.
  • Will said Erika had to see the show's shrink due to losing the HOH on a technicality.
  • Howie told Janelle that if they put up Marcellas while their target is Erika, if it doesn't work, they get rid of Marcellas. He doesn't want to "lose George in an accident."
  • Danielle, meanwhile, is trying to figure out how to save Erika.
  • Will shmoozed Janelle once again. He can get her every time, can't he?
  • Marcellas told Danielle all about his fight with Janelle. [@@!!]
  • Danielle told Mike and James that Marcellas told her all about his fight with Janelle. [@@!!!!]
  • Will promised Janelle he'll try hard and not throw HOH comps from now on. [@@]
  • Will told James that Janelle doesn't want to be in the finals with George. [Editor's note: Who would? George is about the only person in the house who treats all with respect and doesn't lie or scheme.]
  • Ohhh... a new clue in the backyard for the Coup d'Etat! The new clue is a huge spool of rope/thread (sort of like cable spools) and a needle. Okay, combine that with the ewe or sheep. HG are coming up with "Ewe reap what you sew." "Wolf in sheep's clothing." (As are many commenters.)
  • Janelle told Chicken George that she's going to put him up as a pawn. ARGH. That ARGH is me. Sigh. So is the sigh.
  • Will told Janelle to put him (Will) up... again.
  • Will and Janelle hope they'll get a date for an America's Choice vote.
  • Erika told Marcellas that she has a feeling they'll put up Mike Boogie in Danielle's place.

My eyes hurt. I rolled them too much. Wah. I want to see the BB Blog Shrink!

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Update - POV Winner 8/12

I apologize for getting this posted a bit late, but...

Danielle won the Power of Veto.

A full report on the day will be posted a bit later.

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Report - Late Night/Overnight Into Saturday 8/12

Good morning fellow Big Brother Hamster-Watchers! It's a gorgeous day here in the East. I can't help but wonder what kind of day is in store for our favorite and not-so-favorite houseguests, can you?

A few things before I dive into the report --
Congratulations on going for the two-week free trial of the feeds, Blog Reader Penny! You said in comments that you're only getting advertisements. Here's an easy way to kick-start to the right address for the cams - go to this Jokers Updates page - it's their technical advice board. Across the top are hyperlinks for the cameras at varying bandwiths. Also, if you refresh the page, they have lots of tech tips. Make sure you're logged into your Real account when you try to access the feeds.

An anonymous commenter gave me one of the best lines ever. "In his sleep, James dreams of being Will." Perfect! I love it!

Many comments are tying the Coup d'Etat in with the Prom King or Queen. I'm a bit fuzzy on both concepts as it's not something I see on the feeds. But I don't think they have anything to do with each other. The Coup d'Etat is strictly the houseguests following clues in the house while the Prom King or Queen is more along the lines of an America's Choice thing with the viewers involved.

Since the houseguests do shout-outs, so can I. Nyah! Here's a shout-out to Deidre Woollard covering Big Brother recaps over at TV Squad! You rock!

Okay, onto the late night and overnight events in the Big Brother House of Hapless Hamsters, Big Boys and One Buxom Blonde:
  • Will thinks Marcellas is a bitter and angry person - he expected to be a "star." [Editor's note: Y'think? All I know is that he's really changed a lot since his season. When he pouted in his season, he was actually entertaining. Now? He just comes across as nasty and vindictive. Sigh.]
  • Erika told Marcellas that she doesn't know what to believe when James talks. James told her that Danielle is the target, but she thinks she is.
  • Marcellas told Erika he thinks she (Erika) is the target. [Editor's note: I believe the target is Danielle because she's the more dangerous of the two to Janelle, but both are threats.]
  • Janelle has gained weight (according to Marcellas and Erika) while in the house. Erika, already thin, has lost weight.
  • Marcellas told Erika that he's scared that Janelle would backdoor him if he won and used the POV.
  • Marcellas has bought into the James Act. He thinks that James wants Danielle out because she put him (James) on the block last week. [Editor's note: Marcellas! You and Janelle! Wake up! His acting isn't that good... open your eyes! He tells lies! He's in cahoots with Danielle! Argh!]
  • BB confirmed the dead fly wasn't a clue after the HG talked about it for hours.
  • Erika thinks Janelle isn't a smart player, but "makes good TV."
  • When Erika told Howie the comps were "mean" this year, he told her it was a battle between Good and Evil. She then asked, "Who's good?" A nagging question indeed.
  • Danielle wondered if the clue had anything to do with the Friendsheep from last season - a nickname for Maggie and Company. [Editor's note: So... she hasn't got the Coup d'Etat? I dunno.]
  • Chicken George talked about his wife and family. He met her when he was 17 years-old and married her a year later.
  • The Legion of Doom still exists even though they fell on their faces in the POV Comp. At least, Danielle still believes in them.
  • The shomance is heating up between Erika and Mike Boogie. They flirted and kissed in the hot tub. Now, is it more than a shomance? Is it a pre-season romance? Hmmm... Will tells us it is, but can he be believed?
  • The HG don't know how POV will work with Janelle unable to compete. Will she be able to draw a player? They'll find out sometime today.
  • Janelle thinks that information leaked to Danielle is coming from Chill Town when it's really James. [Editor's note: Have I asked Janelle to WAKE UP lately?]
  • Erika and Mike smooched and spooned in the Red Room. Ohhh!
  • Will worked his ways more with Janelle. Dang, she's so gullible this season.

And that's where we are. Stay tuned!

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Update - Friday Evening 8/11

Does Danielle really have the Coup d'Etat? Or is she bluffing? No other clues other than the sheep/ewe in the living room have surfaced. Was it guessed on that one clue? I don't think so. I think even if it had been guessed, BB would continue on with clues. This was supposed to go on for the week, so I'm holding out judgment on it for now.

Since the feeds were blocked so long for the nominations, this report will be a bit short and sweet. Well, short, anyway. It's BB All Stars; I can't promise sweet! Here are the evening's happenings from that Big Brother House of Slop Waffles and Other Gastronomical Goodies:

  • Before the nomination ceremony, Janelle told George she wouldn't be nominating him. However, if someone wins POV and removes one of her noms, she may end up putting him up. But she doesn't want to. George said he understood.
  • Apparently in the nomination ceremony, Janelle told Erika, "I like you as a person, but I despise the way you play the game." [Editor's note: Well, that was a step up from telling Mike Boogie "I'm nominating you because I dislike you."]
  • James and Marcellas once again talked about how Janelle wants all the girls out of the game, except herself of course.
  • George cooked dinner for Howie, nice guy that he is. I think George should be Prom King. I really do.
  • Will talked with Janelle about how Marcellas and some of the others (Erika, Danielle) think the game is rigged for her. She said it isn't - if it were, she wouldn't be studying so hard and trying to win comps.
  • Woogie are still pushing the "Marcellas Gotta Go" card. [Editor's note: That's a move I don't understand. Janelle says he backstabbed her and he's dead to her. Marcellas says he now hates her and wants her gone. Why didn't she put him on the block and why isn't she even entertaining the thought of backdooring him? Could it be a secret alliance and all an act? I could be way off-base, but Janelle tends to go after people she perceives as threats. Marcellas has been very vocal about wanting her out. Why is he not considered a threat? Hmmm...]
  • The current houseguests thought the returning houseguests (food comp judges Jun, Nicole and Marvin) were rude.
  • Will claimed that this year's show twist is: This show sucks!
  • Will sweet-talked Janelle and continues to work his mojo. He and Mike are sitting pretty in the safe and clear for another week unless the Coup d'Etat sinks 'em. Houseguests still have no idea what the Coup d'Etat does or means.
  • Danielle and Erika pretended to be interviewed about being nominated. I think Danielle is stressing a lot more than she's showing about this. She has on her game-face.
  • Janelle told Will that James would be trustworthy as part of their Final Five - her, Will, Mike, Howie and... James. [Editor's note: Anyone out there have a clue we can ship to a certain house in California? @@ at Janelle! Wake up!] Out of that bunch, the only one who would be loyal to her would be Howie.

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Bulletin - Nominations 8/11

After a really long period of blocked feeds with blaring bad music, the nominations are in. Erika and Danielle are on the block, not an unexpected move.

A full report on the various happenings of the evening will be posted a bit later. The feeds have been back for a while, but no one really confirmed it both noms until a few minutes ago.
