But first ... this is the third and final version of our blog pool. When Luke got the boot, his blog folks were reassigned. At least one was reassigned to Kirsten who went out immediately after. So, in the interest of fairness to all, those assigned to Kirsten have been reassigned. From this point forward, when your hamster is out, you are out of the pool. Well, you can hang out at the pool, but ...!
Let's go! Okay, it's now 9:11PM EDT and 60 Minutes has ended. Bring on BB!
We begin with the traditional recap going over the many alliances and happenings.

BB25: HOH and Nominations Show Blog Party - Aug. 6
Come one, come all! It's time to watch the HOH comp, find out what the HOH will do this week and what's going on with nominations since the show itself already put four on the block and, last but not least, where did Cory go? The Nether Region sounds like a not too pretty place to be!

Big Brother: BB24 Nominations and Power of Veto Show Blog Party - Sept. 18
BB24 had an expected delay of 1/2 hour on the East Coast and football went over that. I scheduled this post to go up shortly before 8:30PM EDT, however the show probably isn't starting until around 9PM EDT here.
Good evening, hamster fans! Tonight's show will be the nominations, veto comp and MAYBE the veto meeting. At least I think all of that will air! The veto meeting may end up airing on Thursday's live eviction show. Please don't post any spoilers in the comments before they air on the show. Remember ... there is no BB this Wednesday. Instead, we have a two-hour Survivor 43 premiere followed by the season premiere of The Amazing Race at 10PM. If you wish to sign up for those blog pools -- here are the links -- Survivor pool - TAR34 pool.
I will be live-blogging and updating this entry constantly as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!
9:01PM EDT, we start, jumping right in to the Previously On segment.
We pick up the action after Taylor wins the HOH. She, as she should be, is thrilled with her win. Turner thinks Brittany betrayed him with her vote which turned it into a tie. He thought both votes would be for Taylor to stay.
Monte and Turner talked. Monte told him Brittany wanted to pin the vote to oust Taylor on him. Turner had told both Monte and Taylor that Britanny was trying to get him to give Alyssa a "sympathy" vote. Now, when there are only two votes, you can't call either a sympathy vote! Sheesh.
Sure enough -- Brittany is trying to pin the vote on Turner. Taylor is just glad she's HOH and just has to beat both of them to get to the end.
Taylor reminds us all that the veto is the big thing this week -- the sole vote! Of course, Brittany is playing up to her. Taylor hints to Brittany that she has made a deal with Monte and might put her on the block. She tells Monte that she is thinking Brit/Turner up. He tells her that he doesn't feel safe with a Brittany veto win.
Turner confronts Brittany in the bathroom about the vote. She tells him she has nothing to say. She tells us that Turner has been slimy all through the game promising people he will keep them, then voting them out. She basically just walks away from him. He tells us he needs to get Brittany on Taylor's target list and he needs to win the veto.
He tells Monte and Taylor about the conversation. Then he actually cries. Taylor is a bit skeptical of him but does feel empathetic towards him. She tells us someone is lying, either Turner or Brittanny.
Time for the Nominations Ceremony. Taylor nominates Brittany, then Turner. She tells them someone is lying about the vote.
Taylor thinks both Brittany and Monte would take her to the final two. Monte doesn't want Brittany to win the veto. Brittany doesn't think either Monte or Turner would bring her to the final three.
Brittany keeps shmoozing Taylor and continues to lie about the vote. Taylor tells us she is sure she could beat her in the final two and wants to take her to the end.
Veto Comp - Giant Calculator, photos from the wall comp and others, match the day numbers and the correct total will win. Mathlete. They have to add their numbers up on a chalkboard or in their heads!
MONTE wins the Power of Veto!
Turner is pretty sure Monte will evict Brittany. Taylor isn't upset that Monte won. Brittany thinks she needs to convince him that she is the better choice to bring to final three.
Brittany tells Taylor she was off on one day. Brittany knows Monte wants her out and is upset. She thinks it would be best for his game. Taylor thinks that sitting next to Brittany in the final two is a guaranteed win. (She's right.)
Monte and Taylor kissy-face. She tells him that Turner would beat both of them. She tells us that she wants Brittany in the final two with her as she could definitely beat her. Turner is thinking Monte will probably keep him, but isn't that confident. Monte tells us he has to do what's best for his own game.
Remember -- No Wednesday show -- the primetime block is taken up with Survivor and TAR. The Thursday show will be the eviction and the finale next Sunday, the 25th.

Big Brother: BB24 Live Feeds into Friday, Nominations - Sept.16
Is taking Turner out her best choice? |
Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of the Final Four:
- The schedule is all wonky!
- BB opened the yard for them late at night instead of starting the set-up for the veto comp.
- And ... nominations went down last night!
- Whether thanks to the showmance or not, Taylor nominated Turner as we knew she would and Brittany.
- Of course, the veto winner has all the power this week because he or she is the sole vote.
- Turner told Monte that if he (Turner) wins the veto, which would mean that Monte would go on the block, he will refuse to have a one-on-one talk with Brittany.
- Monte talked to himself and the cameras while alone, trying to decide who would be best to keep for his own game.
- Taylor cooked for everyone.
- And Brittany went around searching for a hidden immunity idol or something.
- Yeah, wrong show.
- But she was searching all around for something!
- I know that she and Michael previously were coming up with places to hide the veto if that comp came up.
- Maybe that was what she was doing.
- Who knows?

Big Brother: BB24 HOH Comp, Nominations Show Blog Party - Sept. 11
Tonight's show is airing a half-hour later at 8:30PM Eastern. The show should cover the HOH comp and nominations. I know the live feeds are beyond that point. But I ask that no live feeds spoilers be posted on the show posts. Thank you very much!
I will be live-blogging and updating this post constantly with the major events as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!
Previously on ... and we already know all this stuff! We pick up the action and it's why Michael leaving, apparently unaired due to fillers. Right now we just have Brittany telling us how hurt she was after the eviction. Monte mentions they all knew he had to go. Turner had really been targeting Britanny and he told Alyssa that. Michael was okay with the Brittany out plan.
Then Monte wins the veto. He thinks this may be the only time they can get Michael out. Turner is not pleased with the idea. Monte tells Michael. Uh-oh! Turner tells Brittany. She's okay with it as it means she will stay. Michael goes to Taylor and Alyssa begging them to keep him. Michael trashes Brittany to Alyssa. Then he begs to Taylor.
Into Michael's rant speech and a hurt Brittany, then Michael's exit.
Back into moving on ... Turner is trying to cover his bases as he cannot play for HOH as the outgoing HOH. That is even though he didn't get the room. Taylor thinks that Turner should be worried. She thinks she has to step up and take him out. He talks to Brittany and she too tells us she will target him if she wins HOH.
HOH Comp -- there's a killer on the loose. Play one at a time. Brittany is up first, with goggles and getting a phone call about the killer, she must search house, secure all six doors with boards, hit alarm switch. The power cuts out and she is in the dark trying to do this. Monte was next. He seems to be faster than Brittany. Taylor next. She bails on it and gives up. Alyssa next. She lost count of the ones she barricaded. She can't find the alarm switch.
Alyssa - 22.24
Monte - 15.15
Brittany -- into a commercial - 15.24
Monte wins HOH. He tells us that he will not put up either Taylor or Turner. So, that leaves it a bit obvious. Alyssa understands that she will go up. She knows that she's the least threat to anyone's game. Monte is a bit concerned because Alyssa has many friends in the jury house.
Brittany thinks she might stand a chance to convince Monte that she is not the biggest threat. He is a bit skeptical. He tells Taylor that he thinks it will probably Brittany and Alyssa up. He tells us that he has a final two with Turner ... he does not tell Taylor that. Taylor thinks that she and Monte will go to the end together. She asks about Turner. He tells her if she wins veto and takes down Brittany, Turner would go up and it would be just her and Brittanny voting.
Time for the Nominations Ceremony. Monte nominates Brittany, then Alyssa. Wishes them luck with the veto.

Big Brother: BB24 HOH Comp and Nominations Show Blog Party - Sept. 4
We will sit through the Previously On segment. I hope you don't mind. Oh, yes. ZingBot is on tonight. Sigh.
We start off with the puzzle HOH comp which started on Thursday night at the end of the show. In the Diary Room segments during the comp, it seems all want to target Michael. He is the biggest threat in the game. Brittany is the only one not targeting Michael.
Michael EASILY wins HOH!
Michael promised Turner that he wouldn't nominate him this week. He plans on keeping his promise. He plans it that the Brocella group -- Brittany, Monte and Taylor -- will be safe. Oops. That leaves Terrance and Alyssa, huh?
Taylor gives Alyssa a bit of a pep talk about Alyssa voting off her showmance. Alyssa had made up with him and plans to see what happens after the season.
ZingBot has arrived. He's on the balcony over the yard. Turner -- van lifer everywhere but the shower. Masks are now optional unless your face looks like Michael, cover that up. Monte - I'm good at impressions, I'm Monte and I'm so boring. I could use something icy and cold -- could I borrow Taylor? DJ Showtime, popular in the underground because that's where they find fossils. Alyssa -- you're a winter jacket in the desert --dead weight and useless. Brittany - I have a song for you ... Jeepers Creepers where did you get those peepers? Crazy eyes! Tells them that they're hard to look at and calls them losers before leaving.
Is it a wonder I can't get by the mean-spiritness of ZingBot? I understand it's a BB institution. But I don't have to like it.
Monte is telling Turner that if they can take out Brittany, they should. That way, if Michael goes to the final two with either of them, there is a shot they could win over Michael. They could target the timing of the Kyle news as leverage.
Brittany and Taylor are talking. Even they understand that Michael will have to go. Brittany tells us that she is totally loyal to Michael. She does not tell Taylor that.
A segment on Alyssa's sore back. She has a meditation session with Alyssa. Keep in mind that Brittany is a hypnotherapist.
Terrance talks to Michael. He wants to know what the options are. Michael tells him he promised Turner safety. Terrance says he wants to fit in the space that's now here. Okay ...! Terrance tells him a bit of the truth about Dyre Fest. Michael is pushing to see if he was the backdoor plan last week. Terrance won't give him that info.
Then Alyssa goes to talk to Michael. She tells him she is now a free agent. Tears come. Would love to work with him. Tells him Kyle told her about inside the Leftovers another alliance called the Pound -- Kyle, Turner, Terrance and Monte -- had a final four deal. Michael already knew it, so it's not a big deal that she told him.
Turner talks to him next. He says the obvious choice is Terrance and Alyssa. Michael says that Terrance throws Taylor's and Monte's names around. Turner tells him that if he wins HOH next week, he will work with him. Michael tells us he doesn't trust him.
Brittany talks to him next, but not the same kind of talk. Michael tells her he would prefer Terrance go but is worried that Alyssa might go instead. She advises him to get Turner out.
Time for the Nominations Ceremony -- Michael nominates Terrance, then Alyssa. He says no easy decisions left in the game. Terrance, I heard some things that led me to believe I wasn't in your favor (paraphrasing) and Alyssa, you held out info until I was in power.

Big Brother: BB24 Live Feeds into Friday, Nominations - September 2
I will poison the jury! |
Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Questionable Timing:
- As you know from my previous post, Michael is once again HOH.
- Although the people to choose from are limited, he has some options.
- He's been close-mouthed or they just haven't shown discussions on the live feeds his choices.
- Monte thinks he will pick Terrance and Alyssa because they are the only two remaining non-Leftovers (even though the Leftovers seem to have gone bad now).
- I could see that. It would be the most popular with the rest of the house.
- And, I certainly wouldn't mind if Terrance went.
- I can't see him really touch either Brittany or Taylor, so let's eliminate that possibility.
- Gamewise, his strongest competition would be Turner. Maybe followed by Monte.
- Both have voiced how they need to get him out before he gets to the end.
- Other than Brittany and MAYBE Taylor, I think they all have that in mind. They need Michael out for a chance to win.
- Meanwhile, Terrance has now latched onto Monte going over and over about Michael holding back the Kyle information until it was convenient to help his own allies.
- Keep in mind that Terrance doesn't like Taylor and Michael talked AFTER he won the veto. He could only save one person with the veto. He talked because he wanted to save BOTH women and get Kyle out.
- Terrance keeps harping on the timing, mostly to Monte, sometimes to Turner.
- Terrance is also sure he will be nominated and voted out this week.
- He says he will poison the jury against Michael.
- In his talks, he's driving me bonkers by repeatedly saying "you know" and "you know what I'm saying" after about every third word.
- It's making my head hurt!
- Other than that, I'm waiting for the nominations to happen.
- But, while I have you here, I just want to remind you that this is not the place to post racist comments, whether white, black, hamster or commenter. Stop it.
- Oh ... I forgot to mention ZingBot. (Maybe because I don't care for his voice which I can barely understand, and insulting people is not really my thing.)
- ZingBot basically called Monte boring, mentioned something about Turner not showering, roughly said Michael was ugly, Taylor has a cold heart, mocked Terrance's DJ persona, Brittany has crazy eyes and Alyssa's life is like a movie (a porn show?).
- Now I might be a bit wrong on the "zings" as they were not on the live feeds and just talked about later.
- Still waiting on nominations. I believe it will be Alyssa and Terrance with Terrance being the target. If Alyssa is saved, I would expect him to put Turner up. If Terrance is saved, probably still Turner with Alyssa being voted out.
- Waiting ... the feeds went blocked at 6:28PM EDT.
- Feeds returned at 7:40ish ET.
- Alyssa and Terrance on the block.
- Alyssa is talking with Monte, kind of expected to be nominated.
- While Terrance has been saying he will be nominated and go home this week, he's still up there trying to plead his case to Michael -- who doesn't have a vote as HOH!
Am I a Leftover now? |
He can't win every comp until the end |
Is Turner the real threat to Michael's game? |
Monte now has Terrance glued to him. Poor Monte. |

Big Brother: BB24 HOH Comp and Nominations Show Blog Party - August 28
The show should cover the HOH comp and nominations. I know the live feeds are beyond that point. But I ask that no live feeds spoilers be posted on the show posts. Thank you very much!
I will be live-blogging and updating this post constantly with the major events as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!
Finally ... at 8:40PM EDT, the show starts. Previously On. You know the drill.
Okay, the final eight were reunited. Will there be war? Who will be HOH? Who will be nominated? Inside they were expecting Alyssa to be gone and she's still there. Turner is happy Jasmine is gone. Kyle is wondering what will happen because he betrayed the Leftovers. Taylor is in tears because Joseph is gone. She really cared about him.
Dyre Fest tells the others the horrors they went through outside. Yes, it was like a punishment. Alyssa tells us that the After Party (yard alliance) decided to blame Joseph for his own demise in the game. Turner likes everybody and feels aligned with all, but will go with the blame Joseph game.
Terrance is planning on not revealing that he knows anything about the Kyle lies to Michael and Brittany. Michael is skeptical.
Time for the HOH comp! Smallest music fest in the world. Stacking micro-energy drinks into a pyramid of color rows with tweezers. We've seen this comp before. It seems to be taking forever as everybody's stacks are falling. Kyle is coming real close and POOF. Monte and Turner are doing well.
TURNER IS THE NEW HOH!
Monte is still concerned about what might have happened at Dyre Fest and what Turner will do.
Turner doesn't know what he'll do. But Terrance is thrilled. Kyle is glad the winner was someone from the After Party.
Michael is thinking Terrance and Alyssa have to go on the block as they are the only non-Leftovers. Turner tells us he will lie to Michael and Brittany and tell them they were safe. And, he does. Taylor tells Turner that Joseph was the first one to come to her when she was so alone in the beginning of the game.
Alyssa feels safe. Kyle feels safe. Terrance feels safe. Turner tells us he needs to prioritize what's best for his own game. He thinks he needs a final two deal with Kyle. Turner suggests to Kyle that he could take out Alyssa so he won't have to. Nonono! Kyle does not want that! Turner has little faith in either Terrance or Alyssa going up against the biggest competitors (Michael, Monte?) in the house.
Taylor is getting red flags over the Dyre Fest people. She knows Joseph wouldn't do what they're saying and their stories seem too pat. The inside Leftovers are all worried about what happened in the yard. Turner tells Monte that Joseph told him that Brittany, Michael and Taylor had an alliance within their alliance. Now Turner realizes that Monte is someone he can work with and that he and Kyle are at the bottom of the Leftovers anyway.
Neither Kyle nor Alyssa know anything about European countries. That doesn't surprise me. Kyle thinks it's geometry, not geography. @@
Because of what Turner told him, Monte is now aboard the Kyle train. Argh. I don't like that. He suggests voting Michael out in a backdoor with Brittany and Taylor on the block. He thinks chances are that neither woman will win the veto.
Now Turner is against the Leftovers once again.
Time for the nominations ceremony. Turner first nominates Taylor, then Brittany. Love as people but Joseph said they were in a final three and he wasn't included.
He's drawn the line in the sand. Taylor cries. She couldn't believe Joseph would hurt her. Michael is sure it's a backdoor plan for him. The narrator tells us the POV comp will be slip and slide.

Big Brother: BB24 Inside/Outside Twist, Nominations Show Blog Party - August 21
I will be live-blogging, updating this entry with the major events as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get the latest news. As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!
As usual, I'm going to skip the Previously On segment.
We pick up the action after the HOH comp.
Michael picks first, then Terrance. They take turns picking.
Michael: Jasmine, Brittany, Taylor, Monte
Terrance: Turner, Alyssa, Joseph, Kyle (by default, last one left)
Michael chose Jasmine to target her while she thinks he likes her. Terrance said he wants to protect Turner and Alyssa.
Big BroCella (inside) have pizza and beer waiting for them inside the house. The Dyre Fest (outside) people are in the kitchen and see it, but must leave after taking some clothing and personal care items out.
Terrance tells Turner he's safe this week. He tells us he is going to depend on Turner's insight. He also promises Alyssa safety. They go outside to two PortaPotties, a little kitchenette with limited groceries, an outdoor shower and a canopy which they will sleep under. And Terrance does snore ... loudly!
Terrance gets a basket and letter from his wife while Michael gets an actual room. This time (after backlash for not showing him reading the letter last HOH) they let him read the letter on the show. It's from his fiancé Hayden and the cats.
Jasmine plays up to Michael. He tells her that he will be putting Monte up and targeting him. She says she doesn't want to go up on her birthday week. He tells us it's the third week in a row she has used her birthday to stay off the block. She claims to us and by herself that she has worked so hard to get here. The Leftovers inside the house want outside to evict Alyssa.
Terrance wants to do one on ones. He tells us he trusts Turner. Turner advises him to break up the showmance. Terrance tells him he promised not to put Alyssa up. He says his target is Joseph. Turner does not want the fellow Leftover up. So, Terrance is thinking maybe Alyssa and Kyle, backdooring Joseph. He promises Joseph safety but Joseph doesn't trust him. Terrance suggests putting the showmance up to Alyssa. She is not pleased with that ... at all. Neither is Kyle.
Kyle does not want to be a pawn this week and feels he must come up with a plan. (Or course, he should know if he, a Leftover, is against Alyssa, a non-Leftover, with two Leftovers voting, he should be safe. His sex kitten would be gone, though.
Kyle thinks he needs to tell Alyssa about the Leftovers. He tells all. He claims he protected her so far. He makes it sound like he fell on a cross for her. Then he proceeds to tell Terrance ALL about the Leftovers. Grr. He tells him that he (Terrance) was the target last week and he changed it.
Alyssa and Terrance commiserate on being played all season by the Leftovers.
Meanwhile, knowing that Jasmine will be voted out, Monte offers to be a pawn. Michael is so happy that he volunteered. He is telling Jasmine that Monte is the target.
Nominations ceremonies time(s) --
Inside - Michael nominates Monte, then Jasmine. Nothing personal, only five of us this week.
Outside - Terrance nominates Joseph, then Turner. He says a lot of moves in the house were instrumental and you knew about them, didn't tell me (paraphrased).

Big Brother: BB24 Dyre Fest Nominations Bulletin - August 19
Not too pleased with the food choices |
The backyard is not thrilled with their food options. Earlier they were eating bologna sandwiches. Alyssa said she hadn't eaten bologna since she was a kid. Kyle thought it amusing to joke about the spelling and punctuation of the word bologna ... like a kid.
As you know from my previous post, inside the house the nominations were Monte and Jasmine. They are doing the noms separately. I don't know if all of Kyle's betrayal of the Leftovers and pushing to stay off the block himself will have an effect on Terrance. Right now I'm waiting out the live feeds block.
Hmm. The feeds returned to no one talking in the yard. Two cameras on Turner, the other two on Joseph. Both look very sad. I guess Terrance fell for Kyle's stuff? I'm waiting for confirmation other than moods before I commit to saying noms. Waiting ... waiting ...
Terrance indeed nominated Joseph and Turner. Sigh.
Big Brother: BB24 Live Feeds Friday, Nominations Bulletin - August 19
Trying to get the tattoos off with alcohol |
This is but a brief update. Terrance is having a heck of a time getting the tattoos all off with rubbing alcohol. Thirty-year-old Kyle wanted to know the difference between rubbing alcohol and the alcohol people drink.
Speaking of Kyle, he has totally betrayed the Leftovers. He told ALL to Terrance. Well, with the exception of minimizing his own role a bit. He told him that he is sure that Michael will target Monte in the house. He thinks Terrance has to get Joseph out this week. Argh. Kyle knows that Terrance doesn't want to put up either Turner or Alyssa. That means, to him, that he has to convince him that Joseph should be the target. Now, Terrance has no vote as HOH unless there is a tie.
The live feeds were blocked for both nominations. In the house, Monte had volunteered to go on the block with the target, Jasmine. No surprises: Michael nominated Monte and Jasmine.
I'm waiting for the yard results. Ah. the Dyre Fest (yard) did NOT have nominations at the same time. Heck, they could have had the cameras on the yard while the house was tied up. I'll post a bulletin once their nominations are done and over. Figures ... the yard is the more unknown although I can't see Terrance putting up either Turner or Alyssa. That leaves Joseph and Kyle.

Big Brother: BB24 HoH Comp, Nominations Show Blog Party - August 14
Tonight's show will be the HOH and nominations. They began the Wall HH comp as the show ended on Thursday. Jasmine was down before the show signed off. Although many of us already know the results of the veto comp, shhhh. This is a show post -- no spoilers!
I will be live-blogging, updating this entry as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get the latest update! As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!
Previously On ... and on.
Don't forget the Wall comp is Conspiracy Fest. We'll see Jasmine fall first once again. We have lots of Diary Room sessions before we get the real action. There -- Jasmine is down. A weird voice shouts out conspiracies as they get gooped on. Sigh ... back to pre-comp Alyssa/Kyle stuff due to Daniel trying to turn Alyssa against Kyle.
Fake NEWSpapers fall on them. Brittany down. Sheesh -- another pre-comp bit about the girls trying to get Joseph in an alliance. Back at the comp, Terrance is now down. The Loch Ness monster gets them with blue goop. Monte down. Alyssa down.
Bigfoot conspiracy -- hair drops on them. Now pink goop hits them hard from "aliens." Indy down. Now all that remain are Leftovers. Taylor tells us she will not let go. Turner gives up. It's Taylor, Joseph and Kyle remaining. Joseph down -- he did not want to be in the position to have to deal with the girls who think he's in their alliance ... along with Kyle. Kyle is down.
TAYLOR is the new HOH!
Many are thrilled. Jasmine is not. Brittany and Taylor happy dance in the storage room. Michael tells Brittany that Joseph and Kyle are in another alliance and are dependent on the players from the Leftovers who do win. Taylor tells us Jasmine is not on her radar and she came into the game planning to not target another Black woman. Brittany thinks Jasmine should be the target. Monte suggests Indy.
Terrance talks to Taylor. Taylor acts like she's listening but tells us she doesn't trust him at all.
Taylor talks to Joseph. She tells us he was the first person to be kind to her. He hints showmance to us from the Diary Room. She tells us her goal is to get Terrance to the jury house this week. She is looking for a pawn. Turner is upset as he stuck his neck out for her and doesn't want to be a pawn. She's thinking Turner/Monte up, backdooring Terrance. EEK says the two guys.
A segment on Joseph and Indy. She's the crankiest roommate ever.
Taylor decides she will put Indy/Terrance on the block and tell them it's to backdoor Monte. She had told Indy she wouldn't put her up so she needs to tell her. Indy talks to her. Indy tells us she never really trusted Taylor. Indy says okay but is clearly upset.
The rest of the Leftovers would like Jasmine out.
Time for the Nominations Ceremony. Taylor nominates Indy, then Terrance. Indy most distant relationship. Terrance play the veto. There is always a larger target.
Heh. Indy thinks she's a pond.

Big Brother: BB24 Live Feeds Friday, Nominations - August 12
What will she do? |
- As you know from my HOH update post, Taylor won the HOH wall comp last night.
- No one threw it to her.
- Kyle desperately tried to win but thought Taylor could be there all night and he just couldn't beat her.
- In talks with her Leftover allies, she seems to want to nominate Terrance and Indy, with Terrance being the target.
- If he comes off the block with the veto, a pawn will be put up and Indy would go.
- They are going to let the non-Leftovers think the plan is to backdoor Monte.
- Hmm.
- For some reason, no one other than Turner seems as irked about Jasmine as I am!
- I guess, in the long run, she's not a real threat at all.
- I think she could only win a comp if it was a pie-eating contest!
- Oh, wait.
- She did do that.
- Indy, who gets emotional about anything she considers a failure of hers in the game, is upset about being a pawn. Or, as she says, a pond.
- Joseph told Taylor that Indy could be saved with the veto with Alyssa up and out.
- Sure, that would break up the showmance duo.
- Another thing it would do is keep Joseph tight with Terrance.
- He's definitely thinking game.
- The feeds were blocked for the nominations ceremony.
- How come it's a nominations ceremony yet the other is a veto meeting? They both follow the same sort of scripted presentation.
- No surprises with the nominations -- Indy and Terrance.
- Indy is freaking out, turning to Turner asking him to save her with the veto and calling God on the (non-working) phone.
I'm surprised she didn't hurt herself in the HOH comp |
Oh, Turner ... I wasn't supposed to like you! |
Still rallying for his lost cause |
He will be targeted soon enough |

Big Brother: BB24 HOH, Nominations Show Blog Party - August 7
Tonight's show will be the HOH and nominations. I guess that IS the norm this season -- holding off the HOH to boost Sunday ratings. Although many of us already know the results of the veto comp, shhhh. This is a show post -- no spoilers!

Previously On and on and on. Ahh, they will show the Muffin Mystery tonight. That was fun on the feeds.
We pick up the action after Nicole leaves. Indy is not real receptive of being Festie Bestie with Taylor. Of course, Taylor chose those two as it gives two non-Leftover targets in her group.
Daniel cries to us. He confronts Alyssa because she voted for Nicole to go. She tells us she didn't want to go against the house. He sarcastically tells Monte that either he (Monte) or Michael will win the game. He's coming across as quite bitter. Daniel's behavior has his Festie Bestie Kyle concerned that they will both go on the block. (Daniel is a target no matter what at this point.)
HOH Comp. Dog Park -- BB Fest Poochapaloosa. Walk across obstacles -balance beams - in the park, hit button on other side. Mind your step.
MICHAEL IS THE NEW HOH!
He tells us that he will do what's best for his game and thinking ahead. He and Brittany celebrate. He brings up Daniel, but is it best for his personal game? Brittany is thrilled just to be safe for the week. Taylor comes in and celebrates with them. They do have a final three together.
Alyssa is making an effort to at least act like she will work with Taylor. However, Indy is so not happy with the addition of Taylor to their Besties.
Oh, geez. Jasmine is overacting because Kyle MIGHT have bumped her ankle. Turner is skeptical that there was even a touch.
The move to put Terrance, Joseph and Monte on the block would give the Leftovers the most people playing for veto Jospeh and Monte are willing. The plan would be to get saved with the veto and Daniel/Kyle go up, Daniel goes home.
Ohh! Muffins! Jasmine decides to put a few in a bag and save for later. Oh noes! Half of one muffin is MISSING! Turner tells us that every day he's with Jasmine as his Festie Bestie, he goes a little more crazy. She is still using the cane on the wrong side of her body. Turner tells us and Taylor he ate the muffin.
To a Leftovers meeting in HOH. Turner wouldn't be upset if Jasmine goes home. Monte makes the suggestion of him, Joseph and Terrance. Taylor is just happy that she will not be going on the block. Michael tells us that Daniel is the best move for Monte, but is it for him? After all, Monte is a big threat in the game.
Grr, showmance time with Kyle and Alyssa. Heh. Jasmine interrupts them looking for her muffin thief.
Daniel talks to Michael. I think he's overplaying things a bit. He's offering just about everything except his firstborn. Michael tells him that him gone is better for others but not necessarily for his own game. He tells him he has no plans.
Michael talks to Brittany and they discuss the dangers of Monte winning near the end and at the end. Brittanny wonders if it's a bit early to leave the Leftovers. Hmm. What is best for the both of them?
Time for the Nominations Ceremony. Michael nominates Festie Besties Monte, Terrance and Joseph. No surprises there.
The teaser lets us know the POV comp will be OTEV.

Big Brother: BB24 HoH/Nominations Show Blog Party - July 31
Good evening! Welcome to the blog that never ends ... or something like that. Tonight's show will air the HOH comp and nominations. We know in real time that the veto comp has already played out. However, since this is a show post, please remember not to comment any spoilers!
I will be live-blogging as the show airs here on the East Coast -- refresh the page to get the latest update. As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!
Previously On segment goes over all the alliances once again.
We pick up with the hamsters searching for the red invitation in the 1,500 envelopes that fell to earth in the backyard. As we know from the show end -- Jasmine, Terrance, Brittany and Monte have one.
We cut to after Ameerah walks out the door. Michael admits to Alyssa that he voted to evict her. Alyssa is in tears. Nicole looks like she's on the warpath. Indy too is stomping around.
Back to the backyard invitation search. Now Daniel joins in. with the winners, then Joseph. Now Nicole and the last one is Alyssa - in a foot race with Indy.
HOH Comp - When they hear the scream, they have to slide three goblets down wooden lanes for points, then hit their button.
MONTE is the new HOH!
The Leftovers are happy, Nicole not so much. She's on a mission to see why and how the votes flipped voting Ameerah out. She's even suspicious of her buddy Daniel.
It turns out that Joseph and Monte had told Terrance he's welcome to join them if that was part of the eviction Bestie twist. They figure if they go on the block, Terrance would be out and they would be safe.
Kyle thinks Alyssa would always favor Ameerah over him although they're close. Joseph thinks that Kyle is naive and needs to watch Alyssa. He tells him she has mentioned having a "person" outside the house. Kyle lets her know that he knew about the Ameerah ouster even though he didn't tell her.
Who wants to see my HOH room segment ... his letter is from his mother. A lot of Spanish in it. It ends with "no chicas." He cries in the Diary Room to us. Heh -- they wait out all the non-Leftovers and then do a silent victory dance.
They talk about Nicole going. However, Taylor is her (fake) Bestie and really doesn't want to go on the block again. She suggests putting up someone who hasn't been on the block yet.
Alyssa tells Monte she wants to salvage his trust and work together. He tells her she isn't his target and Taylor remains her target. He hints he might put Indy/Alyssa up, then backdoor Taylor. He tells Indy the same story. She is very upset at the idea.
Monte talks to Taylor and tells her he doesn't want to target Nicole because he doesn't want to put her (Taylor) on the block again. He tells her that he would only backdoor Nicole if she is okay with it. He really wants to get Nicole out.
Nominations Ceremony time. Monte nominates Alyssa/Indy. He tells them they are not his target for this week and he hopes they win the veto. He tells us that if the veto is not used, Alyssa is the target and, if Taylor okays it, Nicole is his backdoor target.
