I'm Jackie and I watch TV. I'm not proud. Bookmark the blog now as your source for live feed reports from inside the 'Big Brother' house! Come, join in on the fun ...
My apologies for my absence as of late -- I've been a bit overwhelmed with work, getting my apartment ready for a long, long stay, and medical doings leading up to next week's surgery.
The show has started here on the east coast. I'll update this post as important events (immunity, boot, and such) happen.
My full show review will be posted over at TV Squad later tonight.
As always, comments are a joy! :-)
Erik won reward, chose Amanda to go with him for helicopter ride, massage, meal and overnight hotel stay. He sent Parvati to Exile Island.
Erik won immunity. We don't know if Parvati even looked for the idol on Exile Island.
STUPID Erik. He fell for Cirie's scheme and gave immunity to Natalie. It's unanimous except for his vote for Parvati -- he's out.
Someone commented that Natalie (not BB9 Natalie!) looks like the Grinch. So, you know Zoetawny picked up on it!

Reward is a trip to Jellyfish Lake (non-stinging). It was the loved ones appearance. Alexis won over Amanda as per Cirie making the final rope chop. Alexis chose Cirie and Natalie (and loved ones) to accompany her. Amanda was sent to Exile Island where there's yet another idol hidden.
James is out of the game -- his finger is infected,
Amanda found the hidden idol clue which tells her the idol is hidden under the flag back at camp.
Erik won immunity, forcing the women to feed off each other.
James showed up at tribal with an IV and makes the jury.
Woohoo! Amanda backsided blindsided them and pulled out the immunity idol to save herself! Alexis was booted.

Rewards challenge -- two teams of four compete, Cirie not picked in schoolyard pick and goes to Exile Island. Jason, Ozzy, Erik, and Amanda won reward -- an overnight cultural feast, dance and more.
Parvati won Immunity. Jason made a deal to give up so everyone can eat, but they all lied to him -- fingers crossed as they told him they wouldn't vote him out. Jeff said the deal will cost him the game.

Looks like the merge is going down. Yup, with a feast!
Jason won the first individual immunity. Let's see if Eliza uses the fake idol he plans to give to her!
Eliza used the fake idol and it didn't work, but now it's outed that Ozzy has it. Eliza was voted out. Eliza and Jason voted Ozzy, but the rest voted Eliza.

Early immunity challenge with pizza and beer. One member from each tribe chosen by other tribe for individual immunity, off to Exile -- Ozzy and Alexis go.
Airai wins pizza, beer, immunity.
Ami was voted out. Erik lives on as the only fan in the tribe.
At 8 PM ET tonight, I'll put up an East Coast Updates post for Survivor. My full review of that show will be posted to TV Squad tonight -- most likely late because ...
... I'll be live blogging the live eviction show of Big Brother 9 as it airs here on the East Coast starting at 9 PM ET/PT.
Oh ... and I'll be recording American Idol and will get the boot up there somehow, too.
I will NOT be live blogging March Madness tomorrow night.

Tribes split schoolyard alternating. Ozzy and Natalie captains.
New Airai - Natalie, James, Alexis, Jonathan, Jason, Parvati, Kathy, Eliza New Malakal - Ozzy, Joel, Amanda, Eric, Ami, Tracy, Cirie, Chet
Airai won reward -- BBQ dinner. No Exile Island so they can get to know each other. IMO -- Joel should be removed from the game. What he did to Chet in the challenge was horrible -- slamming him, dragging him.
It's Thursday night again ... at 8 PM ET I'll put up an East Coast Updates post for Survivor and in that I'll cover major show events, but it's actually more for folks to comment on as they watch. Later tonight, my full review of the show will be posted at TV Squad and I'll be sure to link it for you.
While Survivor is on, I'll try to catch the boots from American Idol and always welcome folks to let me know as I'll have that show muted in the background. I will put up a separate AI East Coast boot post.
At 9 PM ET, I'll put up a Celebrity Apprentice East Coast Update post with the major events as they air ... again, discussion is very welcome on any of these! I'd write a full review, but I'll be in the midst of writing the Survivor review.
Once again, I'll be taping Lost. I hate to say this, but I haven't watched my last tape of the show! I'm definitely doing a two-hour Lost sit-in on Sunday! When I finally get them watched, I'll put up a post about both episodes. Perhaps a bit shorter than my usual Lost post, but ...!
The show has started here on the East Coast. While my full episode review is posted on TV Squad, important updates (immunity, the boot) will be posted here and you'll have a real time comments area to hang out in.
Reward (fishing gear and bamboo boat) and Immunity won by the Favorites. They choose to send Kathy to Exile Island (picking up on her being an outsider on her tribe because others volunteered her to sit out of the challenge). New twist has them choosing one of their own to accompany her -- they chose Cirie. Two people, one immunity idol.
The show has started here on the East Coast. As it airs, major happenings will be updated here in this entry. My full review of the episode is now posted on TV Squad.
This new graphic is the work of Zoetawny ... way cool!
Please check back here and, as always, feel free to voice your thoughts in the comments!
So far, Yau-Man shoved JOnny Fairplay aside to get an immunity idol. Heh.
No Reward Challenge -- fans win the first Immunity Challenge and get flint. Thanks to Yau-Man, the faves already have fire, but they'll lose a person tonight.
Jonny Fairplay was voted out unanimously and smiling. Interesting.
Okay, now's the time the blogging gets scary for me. At 8 PM, Survivor 16: Micronesia premieres. At 9 PM, Celebrity Apprentice and a new Lost are up against each other. What's a blogger to do?
Since I'm under contract with a deadline to write the Survivor episode review for TV Squad, that's a priority. I will open a post here with East Coast Updates for the premiere -- boot and anything really important will be posted as the show airs in the NYC area. Then I have to get to writing it up for TVS.
Since Lost really needs my full attention, I will be recording it and posting my review tomorrow evening (tonight if I'm awake enough to get it done, but I don't think time will cooperate).
So, as I write the Survivor episode up for TVS, I'll have Celebrity Apprentice on in the background so that I can post an update on the firing for blog readers here. I don't have to watch watch that show as I do with Lost. I apologize in advance for the late Lost, but I do have to get up early for work in the morning and the show has to be watched carefully or you miss something.
If you missed Jeff Probst (who still really doesn't like Jonny Fairplay) on today's The Early Show, here's the video:
I'll be writing introductory posts for the fans as the week goes on, but thought I should mention the official show website is up and running. I don't think I'll be writing introductory posts for the returning castaways even though a few are certainly dubious in their "fan favorite" distinction.
