'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Report - Into The Night 8/13

Well, well, well... has the Coup d'Etat been won? If so, will its power be used for Good or Evil? After all, that's the theme this season -- Good vs. Evil. But, as the days go on, it's getting a bit harder to tell who's on what side.

But, that's Big Brother for you. If it were predictable, we wouldn't get so addicted. The shake-ups this season keep us hooked no matter for whom we cheer.

Here are the late afternoon and evening happenings from that Big Brother House of Wisftful Whiners and a Devil Doc:
  • James told Danielle he'd "bury the %#&$ and dance on her grave" - about Janelle. Then he added, "Except she'd have to be recycled because everything's so fake."
  • Erika told Danielle that if the Coup d'Etat phrase is "you reap what you sow" she'll argue it because she never heard it. [Editor's note: Remember, that wasn't the guess she made in the Diary Room on the show and they only get one shot at it. Although several discussed that saying when seeing the needle and thread (huge as they were), the guesses we saw on TV were made before the spool clue.]
  • Howie wanted Danielle to tell him what L.O.D. (Legion of Doom) means. She told him Love One Day as in Love One Day at a Time. [Editor's note: Well, she was put on the spot! I'm sure she would have been more creative had she received some warning he was going to push for the meaning!]
  • James and Mike Boogie once again talked about dumping Janelle the first chance they can get.
  • Howie got in his taunting mode, but not to the full hurricane. He told Erika, Chicken George, Danielle and Marcellas that they were the "True Four" in an alliance. Marcellas got very irked with him. Erika and Danielle were obviously a bit ticked. George just started singing "We All Live In The Big Brother House" to the tune of "Yellow Submarine" and then said "and one gets thrown out each week."
  • From a discussion Mike Boogie and Janelle had, it seems that BB has clarified the rules of the Coup d'Etat for the house and emphasized it's a common saying that could be applied to Big Brother. That was part of the instructions all along, but the houseguests (like us) were a bit confused.
  • Janelle told Will that Marcellas tried to make a deal with her to put up George or Mike this week and make a truce with Danielle and Erika. She says she didn't buy it.
  • Marcellas thinks that the only ones in the game who are clean are Danielle, Erika and himself. [Editor's note: @@ Gotta roll the eyes. Gotta.]
  • Erika and Janelle talked about how innocent the shower escapade from last night was. [Editor's note: @@!]
  • Will did a shout out to a friend asking him to call Erin (his girlfriend) to tell her nothing happened in the shower. Mike told him that he didn't know if they controlled it anymore. [Editor's note: The show? The game? Themselves?]
  • Howie and James started in once again on Janelle to put Marcellas on the block.
  • The third clue apparently showed up at the house - the Grim Reaper (who must've pointed at Danielle because she freaked out about it). Mike Boogie rang the bell for the Coup D'Etat and reported back all excited, sure he's won. [Editor's note: Keep in mind that BB said they won't tell the winner that he/she won until Thursday, so he's going on gut feeling. Although, the Grim Reaper did cinch the Ewe Reap What You Sew, to spell it according to the clues. He's probably right if he's the first one in with that.]
  • Erika and Danielle are really angry with themselves for guessing after the first clue.
  • Janelle told Marcellas that "the others" want him put up as a pawn. He's upset. He says that if he's put up, he'll be voted out. [Editor's note: And, he's probably very right.]
  • Danielle and Marcellas think that Janelle told Marcellas her strategy for extra votes on the jury. [Editor's note: Hmmm... that starts after the 5th week, right?]
  • Marcellas thinks that Woogie getting the Coup d'Etat is the worst imaginable scenario.
  • Will buttered up Janelle a bit more with his Will-ful Ways... trying to talk her into putting Marcellas on the block. [Editor's note: He always has a motive, but he sweet-talks his way to his point, all around it and back to the point again.]
  • Mike Boogie worked the Put Marcellas Up bit with Janelle, too. He isn't as good at shmoozing as Will is, though.
  • Mike Boogie offered James a job at one of his restaurants.

That's where we stand as I get this posted. It looks like Mike Boogie most likely won the Coup d'Etat; Janelle hasn't made a decision regarding who to put on the block when Danielle (most likely) saves herself tomorrow with the POV and Will is still working his wonders telling everyone what they want to hear. Amazing.

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Report - Sunday 8/13 So Far

I'm surprised the houseguests aren't just a wee bit hungover today. I know I would be if I drank so much and acted a bit on the crazy side. I'd be either hungover or hiding from embarrassment. Ah, but I'd never choose to be in that house in the first place, so...!

Here are the events of the day so far from that Big Brother House of Wining While Whining:

  • They slept in until past 11 AM (PDT) and BB seemed to let them do so by not blasting them with music by 10 AM. Only Danielle was up doing housework for the "early" part of the morning. Read "early" as around 9:30 or 10.
  • Will and Danielle talked. She said she "can't" vote Chicken George out, so she'd have to vote Erika if he goes up in her place on the block. [Editor's note: Good. She's keeping her word to George. Danielle has a track record for being honest once she gives her word. She told Kaysar she was going to put him on the block and more.]
  • Will told Janelle that James is in an alliance with Danielle... again. It looks like he's trying to get her to put James on the block in place of Danielle. [Editor's note: Although, I don't think he really cares who goes in the long run, as long as it isn't a Woogie! He may be worried that Janelle is considering putting Mike on the block, so he's for the replacement to be James, George, Marcellas...]
  • Howie thinks James should go. "He [BLEEPED] us yesterday, he'll do it again!" [Editor's note: Will they trust him again tomorrow?]
  • Will told Janelle she should use the HOH Spy Screen to watch for James plotting with Danielle. All the time he's talking with her, he's acting nervous and like his only concern is her safety - he'll go along with whatever decision she makes. [Editor's note: Dang, he's so good at this. Tell them what they want to hear, be their new best friend and some are so gullible... they'll believe anything you say. After all, he's your new Best Buddy!]
  • Howie, Janelle and Will talk about making a deal with Erika with the intention of putting James on the block as the target.
  • We got flame/clouds feeds-blocking when Howie said he told the producers he didn't want to be in the house with James.
  • Then Mike Boogie steps in and convinces Janelle that they need James for the numbers. Argh!
  • Mike Boogie ran to James and Danielle to tell them that he got Janelle NOT to put James on the block. He coached James what to say when he's confronted by CT and S6. Double-argh!
  • James blatantly lied (as expected) about working with Danielle. [Editor's note: Not that I would expect him to admit it. Admitting it would be the nail in the coffin for him.] He also claimed he made an innocent error in the recent POV comp; he didn't throw it.
  • And, guess what? "I'm just a buxom blonde" Janelle bought it hook, line and sinker! Sheesh. Where is her mind this season? How can she be so blind to what's going on? :::thumping head on keyboard:::
  • Now the talk swung back to putting Marcellas on the block. [Editor's note: I could deal with that. He's not fun to watch this season and seems miserable most of the time. But, I think taking out James would be a good strategical move for Janelle. He's got secret and not-so-secret alliances going with everyone in the house and no one really trusts him.]
  • Howie told Janelle she's a pushover. He's right.
  • Janelle didn't commit to putting up Marcellas. She said she would think about it.
  • Howie and Janelle told James not to sell them out for Danielle. Janelle told him that the DR compared Danielle to Maggie. [Editor's note: Whether that's true, I don't know. I do know that I like and respect Danielle as a gameplayer in the house more than I ever did Maggie.]
  • Meanwhile, Woogie told Danielle how much they're for her and support her in the game. [Editor's note: Now, don't tell me she buys their lies, don't even go there! It's bad enough Janelle is blind, we don't need Danielle bumping into her in the dark cover that is Chill Town. Keep in mind, I think Will is indeed the best player ever in the house. But Danielle, in my opinion, was second to Will. Hmmm...]
  • James reported back to Woogie that Janelle believed everything they and he said. [Editor's note: Emphatic @@ at the Gullible!]
  • Will told Mike Boogie that if Danielle gets HOH next week, they'll have to save Janelle with the veto. [Editor's note: I think they would like the Danielle/Janelle saga to continue. Heck, it takes the target off of them. But, it also may have to do with Janelle not planning to put Mike on the block this week.]

There you go. No more new clues for the Coup d'Etat and no indication that any houseguest has won it.

Graphic by Zoetawny.

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Digest - Evening and Overnight Into Sunday 8/13

Since flying a banner plane over the house has been an exercise in futility since the big banner plane second season, we'll just have to settle for a Zoetawny graphics banner plane. Oh, it can fly about the blog and Big Brother won't make the houseguests go inside and draw the shades. Maybe it can send telepathic messages through the Internet and Janelle may wake up! She trusts those who would be all too quick to "throw her under the bus" as they're putting it this season.

I can't help but wonder about the poor bus driver of this Bus o' Death with all these houseguests getting thrown under his vehicle harum-scarum. He'll probably need to take an early retirement. "Every time I drive my route in Studio City, I'm hitting pedestrians! I don't know where they're coming from; it's like they're falling from the sky! Or, like a giant force just throws them under my bus! I have to quit! I can't take it anymore!"

What? You came here to read about last night's events in the house? You didn't come here to listen to me ramble on about silliness. Eep! Onto the happenings from that Big Brother House of Shomances On Exhibition:

  • Howie irked Erika by talking about her previous boyfriends from BB - Robert (her ex on Ex-Factor season) and Josh (season 1). Josh was in the BB Seance on last week's live show. "No more ex-boyfriends, please Big Brother," Erika shouted.
  • George prepared about every steak west of the Rockies for dinner, planning a huge BB BBQ.
  • BB gave them alcohol, so they imbibed like the predictable little hamsters they are.
  • Danielle and Erika discussed the possibility that Janelle might be willing to have a truce, but Erika thinks not. I think not, too.
  • James said, "Both sides have a retard, Howie and Chicken George." [Editor's note: And some folks wonder why I don't like James, eh? That's an example of his mean ways.]
  • Danielle got drunk, James wanted her to stay away from the others so she wouldn't pull a "Mike Boogie" referring to the night he got drunk and made everyone angry.
  • James, Erika, Marcellas and Danielle spent a long time trashing Janelle. [Editor's note: It's as if they have a quota of time they must spend every day doing so - it's always the same old trashtalking and slamming, nothing new or exciting.]
  • Danielle tried to figure out a way to get Howie because she feels that he makes Janelle strong.
  • Will told James that they have to get rid of Janelle because "she's flirting with me and putting a huge target on me." [Editor's note: Sure, Will.]
  • Erika decided that they (floaters) were evil, they're the villains, woohoo!
  • After George cooked for them all, James said, "He's so [bleeping] annoying. Can we throw him on the grill and eat walrus tomorrow?" [Editor's note: See. He's just plain mean. I understand playing the game, but there's a cruelness in his words. George has done nothing to him.]
  • Erika is a loud and brazen drunk. Not pretty. She was yelling for them to come and get her because she's on the block.
  • Janelle said that she actually liked April - that she (A) just "fell in with the wrong crowd." [Editor's note: I've also heard Howie mention that he's seen and talked to April since last season. Out of the house does seem to be a different reality.]
  • Woogie says they want to go on The Amazing Race and win twice as much.
  • Will told Danielle not to worry, they took care of POV for her and will take care of this, too. I assume he means they'll work to make sure she's not evicted. But they also have an Erika connection (Mike), so I would guess the pawn (George?) will be their target. Dang, I hope that Janelle changes her mind and puts up James or Marcellas!
  • Danielle suggested sacrificing Erika now and Will said okay. [Editor's note: But do we believe him? I don't!]
  • Janelle got drunk. [Editor's note: Oh, why do these fools just keep on drinking that alcohol? Maybe I'm just old, but I know that alcohol isn't conducive to thinking or planning. It's better to be the one NOT drunk and pick up on what the others do or say.]
  • Audio from Erika in the Diary Room came through the feeds. She was offering to flash the BB person for more wine and he said not to do so. [Editor's note: @@ - yes, I didn't break my eyerolling... yet.]
  • Erika and Janelle, drunk in the hot tub, tried to convince Will to take off his shorts. He declined.
  • Both Erika and Janelle were more than flirting with Will - he actually looked a bit panicked. It's a hoot when Will doesn't quite know how to cope with a situation. And, in this case, it was two drunk women almost ready to molest him.
  • "But... but... I'm dating someone!" cried Will.
  • The girls try to drag Will with them in the dark HOH room. Mike got all into it and started to take off his shorts, but Erika told him not to. They wanted Will! Will kept coming out of the shower stall as if to show he still had his shorts on and would not be seduced by two crazy drunken women. Finally BB made them turn the lights back on.
  • Uh-oh. There is now whipped cream and um... body licking. [Editor's note: Covering my eyes.] Janelle wants Will to lick whipped cream off of her, Erika licked the cream off Mike. [Hiding my eyes again.]
  • They're all egging Will on - they want him to kiss Janelle.
  • Will tried to get out of it... "But I'm a bad kisser! You don't want me to kiss you!"
  • Finally they gave up, leaving Will alone in the shower.
  • He then told Janelle that "This is one of life's awkward moments. You just don't know what to say."
  • He told Erika to go to the Diary Room to do "damage control." He seems really embarrassed.
  • Erika and Mike Boogie snuggled and kissed again. It's very apparent that they do indeed have a pre-show relationship.
  • James thinks he's been nice all season. [Editor's note: @@]
  • Will, Howie and Janelle call their alliance "The Perfect Storm." [Editor's note: I think the whole house should name their alliance as the Sub-Alliances or something.]
  • Will pried James for information and played into what James wants by saying they had to get Janelle out because she's too smart. [Editor's note: That's what Will does best - he gets information for his own game by telling others what they want to hear and they just eat it up. Amazing.]
  • Danielle said she couldn't sleep because George was "calling hogs" - snoring - by her bed.
  • Will flirted with Janelle, for his own personal game, of course. He doesn't know what to do when it all gets turned on him. But when he controls the flirting, he's fine with it.
  • Howie asked Janelle if she has a deal to take Marcellas to the end and she told him she didn't.
  • Janelle now thinks that James is working with Danielle... again. Let's see if she changes her mind again tomorrow.
  • Howie thinks that George has never voted the way he said he would. [Editor's note: Not true. When George has given his word, he's stuck with it. He just didn't commit to others.]

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Digest - Saturday 8/12

<--- Thanks to the anonymous commenter who said, "When James sleeps, he dreams he's Will" - Zoetawny made up a graphic!

Again, some answers to comments questions will start this off -
1. No, I don't want to be on the show. I would be horrible at it!
2. Yes, the BB houseguests receive a weekly stipend for the time they are sequestered prior to the show, in the house and for the time they're sequestered for the jury. That's always been the case. In the past, the stipend has been $750 a week. This year for the big stars (cough), it's increased so that supposedly their net weekly pay is $2,000. That would put it near $4,000 a week. That's why folks like Diane and Marcellas (perhaps Howie) really want to make it to sequester -- to receive that amount without really working. The winner still receives a half million and second place is still $50,000.

Onto the events of the day from that Big Brother House of Revolving Door Power:
  • Danielle and James were the first awake, just before 10 AM their time. They tried to figure the votes and decided that Danielle would probably be voted out unless they can get POV.
  • A bit before 10 AM, BB announced that the Veto Competition would start in 90 minutes. [Editor's note: Let's time BB!]
  • Will complained that a 30 minute wake-up warning would work perfectly fine - they needn't be awakened so early. [Editor's note: @@ Ten o'clock is not early!]
  • Will told BB via the cameras that if he's not chosen to play for Veto, they better find him something to do. After all, they woke him up early. [Editor's note: @@]
  • Erika, Danielle, James, Marcellas and Will are the Veto Players. Marcellas told Erika he'd save her if he wins.
  • Marcellas and Janelle had a huge verbal brouhaha (I just like to say "brouhaha" whenever I can, humor me). He screamed at her that everyone knew the HOH Comp was rigged for her to win and on and on. And on. He told her he's never said anything bad about her. [@@ - BOLD eyeroll] Janelle went back at him that he didn't play the veto to help her. He claimed that their alliance (his and Janelle's) is all he has and they were to go to the end together. He also told her that Danielle has James in her pocket. [Editor's note: Hey, Mister... I got a snake in my pocket. Wanna hear it hiss?] Then he told her James has a deal with Woogie, too! [Editor's note: Listen to him this once, Janelle.]
  • They hug and say they love each other. [@@]
  • At about 1:15 PM PDT, the feeds blocked for the POV Comp which BB slated for 11:30 AM. See! I told you!
  • Danielle won Veto and Janelle's mad at James for somehow protecting Danielle in the Veto.
  • James told Janelle she's in his alliance and he wouldn't lie to her. [@@ If I keep rolling my eyes, I'm going to get a headache.]
  • James accused Janelle of lying to him and giving other people information before telling him. Howie tried to calm both down.
  • Meanwhile, Marcellas is telling Erika and Danielle that James is in cahoots with Woogie.
  • It seems April, Jack and Scott were part of the Veto Comp.
  • Janelle had warned George last night that he may be put on the block if the Veto saves a nominee. It seems they're still leaning that way. They counted the votes they'd have to evict Erika.
  • Janelle mentioned that Erika seemed happy that Danielle won Veto - was she (Erika) stupid? -- Janelle asked that, not me.
  • Woogie is trying to do damage control and have anyone but Chill Town on the block. They claim no one would vote for George to leave. [Editor's note: They would vote him out in a second to save Erika!]
  • Woogie are still pushing the Marcellas angle, too.
  • Will said Erika had to see the show's shrink due to losing the HOH on a technicality.
  • Howie told Janelle that if they put up Marcellas while their target is Erika, if it doesn't work, they get rid of Marcellas. He doesn't want to "lose George in an accident."
  • Danielle, meanwhile, is trying to figure out how to save Erika.
  • Will shmoozed Janelle once again. He can get her every time, can't he?
  • Marcellas told Danielle all about his fight with Janelle. [@@!!]
  • Danielle told Mike and James that Marcellas told her all about his fight with Janelle. [@@!!!!]
  • Will promised Janelle he'll try hard and not throw HOH comps from now on. [@@]
  • Will told James that Janelle doesn't want to be in the finals with George. [Editor's note: Who would? George is about the only person in the house who treats all with respect and doesn't lie or scheme.]
  • Ohhh... a new clue in the backyard for the Coup d'Etat! The new clue is a huge spool of rope/thread (sort of like cable spools) and a needle. Okay, combine that with the ewe or sheep. HG are coming up with "Ewe reap what you sew." "Wolf in sheep's clothing." (As are many commenters.)
  • Janelle told Chicken George that she's going to put him up as a pawn. ARGH. That ARGH is me. Sigh. So is the sigh.
  • Will told Janelle to put him (Will) up... again.
  • Will and Janelle hope they'll get a date for an America's Choice vote.
  • Erika told Marcellas that she has a feeling they'll put up Mike Boogie in Danielle's place.

My eyes hurt. I rolled them too much. Wah. I want to see the BB Blog Shrink!

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Update - POV Winner 8/12

I apologize for getting this posted a bit late, but...

Danielle won the Power of Veto.

A full report on the day will be posted a bit later.

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Report - Late Night/Overnight Into Saturday 8/12

Good morning fellow Big Brother Hamster-Watchers! It's a gorgeous day here in the East. I can't help but wonder what kind of day is in store for our favorite and not-so-favorite houseguests, can you?

A few things before I dive into the report --
Congratulations on going for the two-week free trial of the feeds, Blog Reader Penny! You said in comments that you're only getting advertisements. Here's an easy way to kick-start to the right address for the cams - go to this Jokers Updates page - it's their technical advice board. Across the top are hyperlinks for the cameras at varying bandwiths. Also, if you refresh the page, they have lots of tech tips. Make sure you're logged into your Real account when you try to access the feeds.

An anonymous commenter gave me one of the best lines ever. "In his sleep, James dreams of being Will." Perfect! I love it!

Many comments are tying the Coup d'Etat in with the Prom King or Queen. I'm a bit fuzzy on both concepts as it's not something I see on the feeds. But I don't think they have anything to do with each other. The Coup d'Etat is strictly the houseguests following clues in the house while the Prom King or Queen is more along the lines of an America's Choice thing with the viewers involved.

Since the houseguests do shout-outs, so can I. Nyah! Here's a shout-out to Deidre Woollard covering Big Brother recaps over at TV Squad! You rock!

Okay, onto the late night and overnight events in the Big Brother House of Hapless Hamsters, Big Boys and One Buxom Blonde:
  • Will thinks Marcellas is a bitter and angry person - he expected to be a "star." [Editor's note: Y'think? All I know is that he's really changed a lot since his season. When he pouted in his season, he was actually entertaining. Now? He just comes across as nasty and vindictive. Sigh.]
  • Erika told Marcellas that she doesn't know what to believe when James talks. James told her that Danielle is the target, but she thinks she is.
  • Marcellas told Erika he thinks she (Erika) is the target. [Editor's note: I believe the target is Danielle because she's the more dangerous of the two to Janelle, but both are threats.]
  • Janelle has gained weight (according to Marcellas and Erika) while in the house. Erika, already thin, has lost weight.
  • Marcellas told Erika that he's scared that Janelle would backdoor him if he won and used the POV.
  • Marcellas has bought into the James Act. He thinks that James wants Danielle out because she put him (James) on the block last week. [Editor's note: Marcellas! You and Janelle! Wake up! His acting isn't that good... open your eyes! He tells lies! He's in cahoots with Danielle! Argh!]
  • BB confirmed the dead fly wasn't a clue after the HG talked about it for hours.
  • Erika thinks Janelle isn't a smart player, but "makes good TV."
  • When Erika told Howie the comps were "mean" this year, he told her it was a battle between Good and Evil. She then asked, "Who's good?" A nagging question indeed.
  • Danielle wondered if the clue had anything to do with the Friendsheep from last season - a nickname for Maggie and Company. [Editor's note: So... she hasn't got the Coup d'Etat? I dunno.]
  • Chicken George talked about his wife and family. He met her when he was 17 years-old and married her a year later.
  • The Legion of Doom still exists even though they fell on their faces in the POV Comp. At least, Danielle still believes in them.
  • The shomance is heating up between Erika and Mike Boogie. They flirted and kissed in the hot tub. Now, is it more than a shomance? Is it a pre-season romance? Hmmm... Will tells us it is, but can he be believed?
  • The HG don't know how POV will work with Janelle unable to compete. Will she be able to draw a player? They'll find out sometime today.
  • Janelle thinks that information leaked to Danielle is coming from Chill Town when it's really James. [Editor's note: Have I asked Janelle to WAKE UP lately?]
  • Erika and Mike smooched and spooned in the Red Room. Ohhh!
  • Will worked his ways more with Janelle. Dang, she's so gullible this season.

And that's where we are. Stay tuned!

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Update - Friday Evening 8/11

Does Danielle really have the Coup d'Etat? Or is she bluffing? No other clues other than the sheep/ewe in the living room have surfaced. Was it guessed on that one clue? I don't think so. I think even if it had been guessed, BB would continue on with clues. This was supposed to go on for the week, so I'm holding out judgment on it for now.

Since the feeds were blocked so long for the nominations, this report will be a bit short and sweet. Well, short, anyway. It's BB All Stars; I can't promise sweet! Here are the evening's happenings from that Big Brother House of Slop Waffles and Other Gastronomical Goodies:

  • Before the nomination ceremony, Janelle told George she wouldn't be nominating him. However, if someone wins POV and removes one of her noms, she may end up putting him up. But she doesn't want to. George said he understood.
  • Apparently in the nomination ceremony, Janelle told Erika, "I like you as a person, but I despise the way you play the game." [Editor's note: Well, that was a step up from telling Mike Boogie "I'm nominating you because I dislike you."]
  • James and Marcellas once again talked about how Janelle wants all the girls out of the game, except herself of course.
  • George cooked dinner for Howie, nice guy that he is. I think George should be Prom King. I really do.
  • Will talked with Janelle about how Marcellas and some of the others (Erika, Danielle) think the game is rigged for her. She said it isn't - if it were, she wouldn't be studying so hard and trying to win comps.
  • Woogie are still pushing the "Marcellas Gotta Go" card. [Editor's note: That's a move I don't understand. Janelle says he backstabbed her and he's dead to her. Marcellas says he now hates her and wants her gone. Why didn't she put him on the block and why isn't she even entertaining the thought of backdooring him? Could it be a secret alliance and all an act? I could be way off-base, but Janelle tends to go after people she perceives as threats. Marcellas has been very vocal about wanting her out. Why is he not considered a threat? Hmmm...]
  • The current houseguests thought the returning houseguests (food comp judges Jun, Nicole and Marvin) were rude.
  • Will claimed that this year's show twist is: This show sucks!
  • Will sweet-talked Janelle and continues to work his mojo. He and Mike are sitting pretty in the safe and clear for another week unless the Coup d'Etat sinks 'em. Houseguests still have no idea what the Coup d'Etat does or means.
  • Danielle and Erika pretended to be interviewed about being nominated. I think Danielle is stressing a lot more than she's showing about this. She has on her game-face.
  • Janelle told Will that James would be trustworthy as part of their Final Five - her, Will, Mike, Howie and... James. [Editor's note: Anyone out there have a clue we can ship to a certain house in California? @@ at Janelle! Wake up!] Out of that bunch, the only one who would be loyal to her would be Howie.

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Bulletin - Nominations 8/11

After a really long period of blocked feeds with blaring bad music, the nominations are in. Erika and Danielle are on the block, not an unexpected move.

A full report on the various happenings of the evening will be posted a bit later. The feeds have been back for a while, but no one really confirmed it both noms until a few minutes ago.

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Report - Friday 8/11 Daytime

Wowsers! I've been too busy reading all the comments to post an entry! Well, maybe not that busy, but you blog readers are great! It's neat to read everyone's opinion - keep it up! It would be boring if we all cheered on the same houseguest, wouldn't it?

Did you know I don't care for James? I'm sure I've cleverly concealed my feelings.

Um... maybe not, eh?

I can't be the one to call whether the re-do of the HOH competition was fair or not. We all saw it malfunction, so that's not the issue. And, though I didn't want Erika to be HOH, I do feel sorry for her. If I were in her shoes, I'd be crying more than she has been.

Here are the events from the daytime hours in that Big Brother House of Overturns Sans Coup d'Etat:
  • BB had the hamsters up before 8 AM their time. Backyard lockdown. Oy.
  • Marcellas told Danielle he won't be hanging out in the HOH room because he's just a bleepin' floater. When he said something about Erika having a good lawsuit, the feeds went to flame/clouds.
  • Woogie (Mike/Will) discussed how they'll use hand signals to let each other know if they got the Coup d'Etat. [Editor's note: So, does Danielle have it? Or is she bluffing? Or is it something in Marcellas' mind that she has it?]
  • When Marcellas told James that he, Danielle and Erika won't vote for Janelle to win if they go on the block, James said it was shades of the Nerd Herd (S6). [Editor's note: Okay, I give him credit for that. He's right. The voting should be on who played the best game, not who likes whom.]
  • At 11 AM PT, BB opened the doors to the house to start off the food comp.
  • The comp was a Slop Cook-Off. The HG had to prepare a dish which includes BB Slop as one ingredient. Dishes included Slop Waffles, Slop Mexican, Slop Cupcakes, Slop Pancakes, SlopCakes (like crab cakes), Slop 'n Garlic Pasta and more.
  • Nicole, Jun and Marvin from previous seasons were the judges. Remember, Nicole was Will's nemesis in his season. I can still see him running that radio-controlled car into her over and over again - "I can't figure out how to work this!" THUMP! "Will, quit it!"
  • After some banter - the judges were on the plasma screen - the feeds were blocked for a bit. When they came back, the judges were gone.
  • Will's Slop Cupcakes got the second-highest score. Oh, he can bake!
  • Howie told Janie he may go Hurricane on Erika. [Editor's note: Don't, Howie. Just don't. Right now Erika has a good reason to be upset.]
  • Janelle told Mike Boogie that James has to be in their alliance. [Editor's note: Janelle, Janelle... where is your mind? Sheesh! Stop trusting James. Stop trusting Will and Mike, too... but really stop trusting James!] She really wants Danielle evicted.
  • She says the floaters will go with Danielle first, George last on the list.
  • James and Woogie said that if they can, with the POV they want to backdoor Marcellas. [Editor's note: I can think of some really obvious gay comebacks here, but I'll restrain myself.]
  • The Nominations are today. Busy day for the hamsters!
  • George thinks he'll be nominated with Danielle.
  • When Danielle and George talked, he thought her DNA answer for the Coup d'Etat (Dolly/sheep/cloned/Do Not Assume season) was right.

That's where we stand at the time of posting. Once I know the noms, I'll get the information out to you. Thank you everyone for really getting into discussion in the comments. Cool beans!

[The spirit of Nakomis must have visited my computer.]

UPDATE 8:00 PM EDT:

It looks like the only slop day may be Wednesday from what they're saying. Once I can gather more, I'll post it in the next regular update late tonight.

And folks... please try to be respectful about others. I love all the discussion, but I don't want fisticuffs in the comments, please!

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds NEWS Update - Overnight Into 8/11

Stop the presses!

Rescind last night's Head of House!

Don't vote for Marcellas as Prom Queen!

All that you knew could have changed on a re-do!

Has someone already guessed the Coup d'Etat?

For the first time I've ever seen on the show, the network recognized that there were technical difficulties affecting the outcome of the HOH Competition. They re-did the comp last night after the live show and Erika is NO longer HOH. From CBS - "Due to technical malfunctions of the buzz-in device" - CBS, a second HOH game was played Thursday night. Janelle won and is HOH.

Here's the rough skinny on the events from the Big Brother House of Malfunctioning Buzzers:

  • Mike Boogie told Janelle and Howie that Erika and Danielle thought Janelle shouldn't compete in the HOH re-do as she got her question wrong.
  • Both Erika and Danielle were extremely upset about the comp re-do.
  • Janelle put on a pair of jeans she hasn't worn yet in the house only to find a fortune cookie which read "You have the attitude of a winner." An omen of things to come?
  • Janelle and Howie really went at studying hard and heavy for the comp.
  • Julie Chen hosted the new comp live on the feeds, now she'll be groggy for the Kaysar interview on The Early Show.
  • The comp got down between Mike Boogie and Janelle and... Janelle is the new HOH! Upon winning, she shouted out "This one's for you, Kaysar!"
  • Danielle isn't too happy, told Janelle she must have the BB Angel on her shoulder.
  • Mike told Janelle he threw the comp to her, but other HG are saying it's the best Chill Town has ever done in a comp.
  • James, Janelle's new best friend in his own mind, went to Janelle and told her he wants Marcellas out. Janelle told him no. [Editor's note: I hope she has a mind of her own again and realizes James is not her ally! Put him on the block, Janelle!]
  • Janelle wants Danielle out.
  • Danielle and Erika think the re-do was totally unfair. Now, had they won, they'd be singing a different tune. Howie's button DID malfunction on the live show. It needed to be re-done! They want to walk out.
  • Howie suggested that Janelle make a deal with Danielle and she said "no deals." Good girl.
  • I think Danielle may be in shock. She's just repeating, "I'm done. I'm completely done."
  • There will be a food comp today (Friday).
  • George ate pizza for his last meal as his week's slop pass will expire. Poor guy. He is looking slim and trim (for George, that is).
  • Mike Boogie told Erika he didn't have the heart to tell Kaysar he was voting to evict him, but he didn't want to be against him at the end. Kaysar was too well-liked to be against anyone at the end.
  • James told Mike that Janelle will nominate only girls. [Editor's note: That would be the only two in the house - Erika and Danielle. I think Danielle will be one of her nominations. Erika maybe.]
  • Erika fussed.
  • Danielle fussed.
  • Marcellas fussed.
  • Janelle did not fuss.
  • Janelle told Howie she doesn't think she'll last much longer. Howie told her as long as she's in a comp, she has an advantage. They both think that Danielle has the Coup d'Etat.
  • Janelle wished she had her Pink Palace back, but no... this one was a bit more impromptu.
  • Janelle doesn't seem to want to nominated Marcellas, but told Howie that "Marcellas is dead to me."
  • Unfortunately, Janelle doesn't seem to realize that James turned on her and, on the whole, any S6... but especially her. [Editor's note: @@ Roll those eyes! Wake up, Janie and smell the snake!] Janelle thinks if she can get Danielle out, James will be locked into the alliance.
  • Erika went on a crying jag saying she was going to sue, so we got flame/clouds.
  • Will pushed for a Marcellas nom, but when Danielle was proposed, he said okay. [Editor's note: As long as it's not Chill Town, Woogie doesn't care!]
  • James ran to Danielle telling her Janelle wants her gone. [Editor's note: Duh, James! Danielle is a very smart woman. She already knew.]

That's where we stand at the time I post this. The comp was redone, Janelle is the new HOH and Erika's win was thrown out due to technical difficulties. We all saw that Howie's buzzer didn't work and I think we know it had to be redone no matter whose side we like. Was it fair that Janelle was in there? I think so, but your mileage may vary.

I haven't seen any definite confirmation of the Coup d'Etat, but the others all think Danielle has it (though they don't know what IT is). The answer was something to do with Dolly and the cloned sheep Dolly. I was SO off-base thinking "ewe."

I still want to vote for George for Prom King.

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - The Live Eviction Show 8/10, Aftermath and More

Hmmm... just saw an ad for Sunday's show - they're showing BB Slop and said special guest judges choose the winner on Sunday. Hmmm...

Oh, well. I want to touch on the show a bit, though this won't be a full recap. First, I thought Danielle looked very nice tonight, as did Janelle. Erika needs to get off the Slop (and she will as HOH) - she's way too thin. George is George. He was funny with the outfit and the fake pipe. I remember Will had trouble getting BB to give them tape to make it.

Here's what I thought...

THE GOOD
Call me corny, but I liked the segment with Woogie Mamas. They both seemed to be tickled. Will was a cute kid. Mike has said on the feeds that he got picked on a lot. Unfortunately, weight on a child tends to draw bullies. As much as I don't like Mike, I'm glad he slimmed down and overcame a not-so-hot childhood.

I enjoyed the pre-HOH seance. After watching the clues in the house that the houseguests didn't pick up on, it was great fun to see Holly with the missing Devil Duckie, Bunky with his namesake tarantula. But the absolute best was the chicken with George's chicken necklace! Perfect! That said, Bunky and Josh have both gained weight. Thankfully, Holly didn't talk much. And even Eric seemed to be a good sport about things.

THE BAD
James wasn't thinking. He knew the vote was set. He wasted his Nullify. But, it's bad for him, not for me.

Kaysar got evicted on his birthday. [Sniffle] I feel bad for him and I'll miss him, but he really isn't a match for the game.

THE UGLY
Whoa, Julie Chen! She laid out the ugliness that is James for Kaysar to see! Excellent! I'm glad she did it, but it's ugly. Very ugly.

Then there was the HOH Comp. Howie definitely pushed the button long before he re-pushed it at Julie's request and then lost his chance at HOH. Mike pushed his and the light didn't light, but he didn't get eliminated. Howie is seething on the feeds. They blocked for a long time and I think it's due to them complaining about the equipment not functioning right. That and getting the sheep out of the house.

OTHER STUFF
We seem to have a movement going in comments to vote Marcellas as Prom Queen and George as Prom King. Who's in?

The Coup d'Etat is a phrase. We know it's probably ewe, not sheep. It's part of a phrase related to the show. We have "Big Brother is watching EWE" as a possibility. I was thinking along the lines of "EWE can expect the unexpected." As clues are picked up, I'll get them to you the best I can.

The houseguests think the Coup d'Etat will result in a double eviction this week.

As I post this, Will and Howie are complaining about the slop and the comp. Mike is worrying that he called the ewe a goat on live television. They don't seem to be thinking about the clue at all. The ewe seems to have been removed during the feeds blockage.
Later!

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - East Coast Update - Coup d'Etat Announced 8/10

First - America can vote a HG Prom King or Queen and it might affect the winner in the next HOH.

Coup d'Etat - Overthrow HOH and turn over nominations on the spot Only the person who wins it knows what it is and remains a secret. Clues to a well-known phrase over the next few days, first to tell Diary Room gets it. They run for clue. It's a sheep or.. an ewe. They think a lamb. I say sheep.

I say I'll post this.

<-- Screen cap added after feeds returned. No, the ewe sheep lamb isn't green. Odd lighting.

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - East Coast Update - Live Show HOH

Erika is the new HOH.

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - East Coast Update - Voting/Eviction 8/10

James nullified Janelle's vote prior to the votes being cast. (Remember, he won the right to nullify one vote in last week's HOH.)

These are the votes to evict as cast:
Marcellas - Kaysar
Howie - James
Erika - Kaysar
Janelle - James (Nullified)
Will - Kaysar
George - Kaysar
Mike - Kaysar

5 to 1, Kaysar is evicted.

Tonight's Live 'Big Brother 7: All Stars' Blogging

Blogger was down and just came up - phew!

As usual, I'll post East Coast updates on the important show events as the show airs here. So, if you're in another time zone and just have to know... check back! The eviction is usually a bit after the half-hour mark and, of course, HOH at the end of the hour.

Ah, the show is about to start here. Got popcorn?

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Report - Daytime Thursday 8/10

Yes, indeed... happy birthday, Kaysar! I have a feeling it may not be the best birthday it could be, but I'm hoping I could be wrong.

Before I talk about the non-happenings in the house today, I want to answer some of the comments from the day. Thankfully, others answered the Jack Shack questions and, very tastefully (or as tastefully as can be)... thanks, folks! Also, the people who answered what Sarah and James were able to discuss on their phone call were spot on. No show talk, right. Thanks again!

An anonymous commenter (feel free to sign off with a name when you post anonymously, then I can say Joe or whatever) asked if the houseguests know what cameras are on. Good question! They have to assume the cameras are always on and running live on the feeds. Often, the cameras are filming for the show or just because and it's not going live to the feeds. The HG can sometimes hear a camera turning, a dead giveaway that it's focused on them. They also know the feeds block if they sing, discuss friends/relatives/co-workers who haven't signed a release or, with this season, fuss about producers. So, they know they're safe from view in those instances.

Sue had a couple of good questions, too! She asked if I can pick up on any real tried and true alliances. Actually, I think the only two to stay true (blech, I rhymed) are Mike Boogie and Will (Woogie!). I believe all other alliances will fall apart down the road. I'll go as far as to say if George ever really allies with someone, he'll be loyal. But he's taking things case-by-case.

Sue also asked about Danielle and James aligning prior to Janelle's nominations as HOH. Yep. James called Danielle (and practically everyone else) prior to the season and discussed the show. They've been working together since the first week. Now he can blame it on Janelle's nominations. But he never intended to be loyal to the S6 Players. Good questions and thanks for your insight, Sue!

Onto the day's lack of events in that Big Brother House of Whinefully Primping:
  • BB woke the houseguests up about 9:45 AM their time. Still a bit later than many past seasons, but better than letting them sleep all day. If BB would wake them earlier, maybe they wouldn't stay up 'til the dawn's early light.
  • George vacuumed. Exciting, eh?
  • Howie told everyone (while in a lockdown) why he wants to be a meteorologist. Yawn!
  • James put on a suit and asked if it was right for a beheading. [Editor's note: They told him to act nervous not act blatantly stupid!] He took the jacket off and put on a t-shirt while Janelle chose a smart pert black dress with just a touch of red. [Editor's note: I'm sorry. I got carried away. I thought I was writing for a fashion magazine.]
  • James told Mike that he already told Janelle he's nullifying her vote with his Nullify Vote Pass Doohickey he won during last week's HOH Comp.
  • Other the primping, most of what we had was eating and flame/clouds. I said it was the day's non-events, didn't I? I wouldn't lie to you. We have an alliance, right? Right?

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Report - Overnight Into Thursday 8/10

Today the houseguests should be occupied cleaning the house for the live show, thinking about their live vote and you would think they'd want to be well-rested for the upcoming Head of House competition.

Not this crowd! Go to bed early? Be alert and be prepared? Now, that's just a silly thought!

Here are the late night and overnight events from that Big Brother House of Stay Up 'Til The Rising Sun:
  • Janelle and Kaysar figured out that Marcellas and Danielle are working together. [Editor's note: Why aren't these two picking up on more clues? What's with them this year? Do they have to have a huge cohesive group near them to see alliances?]
  • On the other hand, now they think James isn't working with Danielle once again. [Editor's note: Ack. I have to @@ roll those eyes. I just do!]
  • Janelle, Kaysar and Howie noticed a rat from the Slop Competition was in the tarantula cage. They decided not to tell anyone. Will had put it in there earlier just to see who'd notice or say something.
  • James fussed to Kaysar that he (James) will be going home because everyone liked Kaysar more. [Editor's note: Don't quit your day job, James.]
  • Marcellas and Erika tried to figure out how many votes they'd each have from the jury. [Editor's note: As if they've made it that far. As if!]
  • Woogie (Will/Mike) talked to Janelle and Kaysar. Kaysar was trying to press for them to commit to voting to keep him, but they told them they have to think about things more and asked for time.
  • Mike trusts Danielle. [Editor's note: Silly man-boy.]
  • Will trusts both Danielle and Janelle in addition to his Best Boy Boogie.
  • Mike/Will asked Howie how Chicken George is voting and Howie told them when he asks, George says, "That's top secret, Howie!" [Editor's note: Good, George. As it should be.]
  • Howie also told them that Chicken George warned him to be wary of Chill Town. [Editor's note: Argh! Howie! Loose lips and sunken ships and all that stuff!]
  • Will and Mike continue their obvious-to-us fake alliance with Janelle and Kaysar. [Editor's note: Is it fake? I think so. I think their allegiance for their own needs in the game has switched over to Danielle.]
  • But... then... they (Woogie) talked about hand signals for the voting during the live show and... they talked of throwing the HOH comp to Janelle after hanging in there a while. They want either Janelle or Howie to win HOH so Marcellas and Danielle will "freak out."
  • Marcellas told Erika and Danielle that Janelle was "toast."
  • James called the floaters "furniture."
  • Howie, Janelle and Kaysar stayed up studying for HOH Comp questions.
  • They wished Kaysar a happy birthday before trying to get some sleep.

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Report - Into The Evening Wednesday 8/09

<---- Erika listening to Danielle drone on and on (and on) about her trials, tribulations, achievements and so-cool moves in her Big Brother gameplaying. Is she interested or just faking it? I think the latter. Now, I admire Danielle's game skillz (as the kids say), but sometimes she should just be quiet and stop tooting her own horn! Poor Erika has been her captive for more than an hour now as Marcellas escaped sometime ago.

Blog reader Taytaa17 pointed me to an article which has plenty of news regarding both the returning ghostly houseguests and even a bit on the Coup d'etat. An excerpt from the article:

The first group of former HouseGuests will return for a surprise cameo appearance to air Thursday, Aug. 10 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) during the live eviction show. The former HouseGuests will be incorporated into the HOH competition, which will require this season's All Stars to recall specific clues they have received from the former Houseguests throughout the week in order to be crowned this week's HOH.
Another group of former Houseguests will return to serve as judges during this week's Food Competition to air on Sunday, Aug. 13 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT). Former Houseguests are also playing a role in the Veto Competition to air on Tuesday, Aug. 15 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT).

Head on over to the CANOE-JAM! site linked above to read the whole article. Thanks, Taytaa17! While I'm giving a shoutout, I may as well give one to Sandy at AOL TV, too. Woohoo! Thanks so much for everything!

Okay, to the evening's happenings in that Big Brother House of Frat Boys and the Women Who Mock Them:
  • After last night's ghost-spotting, tonight's very tame in the house.
  • The houseguests talked about their favorite BB moments from their own season or others that didn't involve themselves.
  • Will said the show didn't need 50 year-old fat women in the house and they can't bring their cats. [Editor's note: My cats don't want to be in the house any more than I do.]
  • They kept singing or talking about things which irked the production staff; we kept getting flames. I think Will has issues with his avid interest in The Facts of Life.
  • Danielle callled all the guys (except perhaps Kaysar) "frat boys." It fits.
  • Erika is pretty sure that no houseguests are returning for the season.
  • Will whined once again that BB has forbidden him to speak on the live show because he called Julie Chen "sweetheart." [Editor's note: I'll guess we'll see how true this is or whether it's something he's concocted for entertainment or amusement. I'll watch to see if his lips are sealed to Julie on the live show!]
  • James and Boogie lifted weights. Yawn. I don't like the grunting. Make them stop.
  • George and Howie think it would be way cool if the Jedi Alliance made it to the Final Two. [Editor's note: Now, THAT would freak Marcellas and Danielle out!]
  • Erika and Danielle both say they feel bad about Kaysar's nom. But both agree that a S6 must go.
  • Marcellas had a hissy fit because in the Past Houseguests Spirits bit earlier, Josh was wearing his robe.
  • Mike Boogie insulted the state of North Carolina, calling it "Patheticville." [Editor's note: Uh-oh!]
  • Danielle seems to be getting increasingly frustrated with her choice of Kaysar to go. Whether she'll go with her newly-grown heart or her plan, I don't know. Knowing Danielle and how she goes with her first instinct, I still think she'll probably vote for Kaysar to leave. Then she'll cry about it to us and the houseguests.
  • Danielle and Erika plan to backdoor Janelle when they nominate James and Howie next time they get HOH. [Editor's note: I love these, "when I get HOH" things - it almost always changes.]

That's the latest.

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Update - Later Wed. Afternoon (PDT) 8/09

Hi! I want to thank everyone for all the great comments! It's fantastic to see the discussions, questions, ideas, varying takes on both the show and the houseguests, and the positive response to this blog. You guys all rock! (Even the James fans!) You're what keeps me at this and I appreciate all the kind words.

So... what happened after the big lockdown? Here's the latest from that Big Brother House of Things That Go Bump In The Afternoon:
  • What did we get when BB let them in the house? Lotsa flame/clouds with blaring theme music! I bet you could've guessed that, huh? But we pick up what happened by the conversations afterwards so it's just like being there. Kind of. Sort of.
  • Will said, "Remember, if there's a spontaneous eviction, I predicted it." [Editor's note: Okay, I entered it here for prosterity.]
  • Mike Boogie said Bunky's acting was good.
  • Chicken George said Alison looked mean. [Editor's note: I've always thought that, even when she's not a ghostly presence! Okay... I jest. She doesn't look mean. I just don't like her.]
  • Aha! The missing devil duck I mentioned yesterday - Holly was holding it. Poor duck. She's probably ducknapped it and will lead it into a life of has-been duckdom.
  • Josh Souza from Season 1 - George's season and Erika's ex-boyfriend - was one of the spirits.
  • The scheming resumed rather quickly. I myself would have tried to memorize the house happenings. They had a time limit to be in the house before they were kicked out to the backyard once again.
  • James campaigned, Danielle snapped at BB that they're adults not children when BB told them to put on their mics. The mics were on, but...!
  • Someone (Will?) told Janelle that Danielle wants James out. Now she feels sorry for him. [Editor's note: Do NOT tell me she's that gullible! She can't be! Argh!]
  • Will and Danielle, with occasional input from Marcellas, talked about Internet message board and Housecalls common questions asked. That was a HOOT! And they were so spot on that I laughed out loud listening to them! "How come there aren't more over 50 people on the show?" "How come they all want to be actors and have agents?" "How come only two black people?" "How come someone is always gay?"
  • Alas, now it's all back to card-playing. Oh... that was one of their fake questions they posed. "How come Big Brother gave them playing cards and all they do is sit around playing cards?"

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Report - Wednesday Daytime 8/09

There are a lot of questions about the proposed Coup D'etat (which is a French term meaning to overthrow a leader or government) and the return of ghost houseguests from the past. From what I see, one has nothing to do with the other. The houseguests from the past will play into tomorrow night's live show HOH comp while the Coup D'etat will be introduced, but not necessarily affecting tomorrow night's eviction. While the HG know something is up with past houseguests due to ghostly appearances of Bunky, Jase, Alison and Eric (Cappy, not the Other Eric), they know nothing of the Coup D'etat. They'll presumably find out when we do... tomorrow night. Celebrity Spider has a little press release write-up about things.

Here are the day's events so far in that Big Brother House of Misdirection and Possible Production Posings:
  • BB tried to arouse the HG before 9 AM their time. I fainted.
  • Will kept talking about his DR sessions, so we kept getting flame/clouds and way too loud show theme music. Okay! Okay! I'm awake! Knock it off! Apparently he was told he won't be asked any more questions on the live show due to his condescending "sweetheart" remark to Julie Chen. Or, he could be lying about it all. I don't know. He's calling her ChenBot, though. He must peek at all the sites!
  • Marcellas and Danielle trashtalked Janelle to start their day. How sweet, huh?
  • Danielle eavesdropped by the door as Mike and Kaysar discussed "what if" strategical moves and Will's brouhaha over the Diary Room sessions.
  • Kaysar told Mike that James can be used by Danielle more than he (Kaysar) can. He also mentioned that James said the next target was Chill Town. Mike seemed very interested, though it could be a ploy.
  • Janelle went and told Will (who's sure to tell Mike) that she can't play for Veto next week. [Editor's note: So, now her secret is known by Kaysar, Howie and Will. She may as well tell James and Marcellas next. Or, better yet, ask BB to put it up on their plasma screen.]
  • Will told her that everyone already knew she couldn't. [Editor's note: They might have, but I don't recall hearing anyone outside of Janelle actually talking about it. I'm sure folks know now or will soon.]
  • Will kept insulting CBS, producers and their minions, and more. We kept getting flames.
  • James is the latest to see a face in a mirror - he thinks it was Eric. He thinks it's a real person, not a hologram and not just a face.
  • Danielle told Marcellas that Will asked her how to vote and she told him it didn't matter - as long as one of those [bleepers!] leaves.
  • Will reported his discussions back to Danielle. All of them. Janelle has no Veto playing for this week, Erika is running around telling people that Danielle wants James to stay. He also told Danielle that James needs to act more nervous. [Editor's note: James' acting sucks. The S6 crowd are onto him and Danielle.]
  • Danielle decided that James has to go into high-campaign gear for cover. [Editor's note: @@ - a bit too late!]
  • James tried to talk Howie into voting for him... again. Will it work? I doubt it. Howie isn't too bright, but knows he's in better straits with Kaysar than with James.
  • Howie SO wants to see a ghost. Poor Big Boy!
  • Marcellas said he thinks the ghosts mean nothing. I'm assuming he means as far as a HG returning. Obviously, there's some reason behind them, right? We know, but the HG don't! Nyah, nyah!
  • They've been on an outdoor lockdown for hours now. They have the HOH digital camera to play with, but nothing else is really happening. Lockdowns where they're all basically in one place limit strategy talks.

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Report - Overnight Hours Into Wednesday 8/09

I have to start off with a small alert -- as I go to post this Blogger has a notice of a planned outage (for maintenance, I presume) at 4 PM PT (7 PM for me). The notice doesn't give any time estimate, but please be aware that you might have some difficulty accessing the blog around that time. Or, perhaps you can access it, but I won't be able to post a new entry. Or... maybe comments won't work! I don't really know, but thought I'd give a heads up for the readers. They usually don't keep it down too long. I'm still very pleased with the Blogger product. There are very few glitches or bugs in the long run, so I can certainly forgive them for a planned maintenance period.

Oh? You want to know more about the Haunting and the events from the wee hours into the dawn in that Big Brother House of Screaming Mimis? Here's the scoop:
  • The Haunting started with Erika seeing Alison's image and screaming. Now, keep in mind, she's not feeling too well to begin with due to her Slop Week and not even eating much of that.
  • Howie tried to be the Hero Jedi, searching out the demon to protect the Fair Maiden. Or something like that. A few houseguests think she hallucinated it and it didn't happen, until...
  • Will said it wouldn't be an isolated incident. If it was BB doing it, they would have more sightings. Sure enough.
  • Erika, saying she doesn't even like scary movies, packed up for the night and moved to another room. She refuses to be alone.
  • Meanwhile, Chicken George and Kaysar had an extended friendly talk in the backyard, oblivious to any ghosts haunting the BB House. It had started out with Kaysar campaigning, but turned into a chat covering just about anything and everything. Will George vote to keep Kaysar? He didn't commit.
  • Then Mike Boogie saw the Ghost of Jase-Face and freaked out even more than Erika - screaming like a small child scared by the Boogeyman. Oh, that's an appropriate expression to a point, isn't it? Mike Boogie, Boogeyman. Um... hmmm, not quite. I'll move along here.
  • James tried (again and still) to turn Howie (of all people) against Janelle.
  • As this was happening, ghostly faces (images) were popping up here and there throughout the house -- most went unnoticed by the houseguests.
  • Howie told Marcellas that in the scary movies, the gay guy always gets killed first.
  • So far, only Erika, Mike and Janelle have seen the image(s). The rest are hovering between believing them and thinking they made it all up.
  • For a while, no one could find Will. They went looking everywhere and he wasn't in the Diary Room. That mystery is still unsolved.
  • Marcellas thinks they've gone bonkers.
  • Howie said Jase is after Mike and Alison is after Erika and Janelle. He's just waiting for Diane and Nakomis faces to show up.
  • James and Will complained that the Haunting is boring and so set-up by Big Brother. Sheesh, guys...!
  • Will again (or still) is upset that the Diary Room "yelled at" him for calling Julie Chen "sweetheart" on the live show.
  • Mike went to the HOH to be with Erika, Marcellas and Danielle. He doesn't want his screaming hysterical reaction to the Jase Face shown on television.
  • A group gathered in the kitchen to cook slop and food and George spoofed on them. He came running into the room screaming, "You'll never guess who I saw in the mirror!" And, they fell for it, getting all excited until he said, "Chicken George!"
  • Janelle told Danielle that she's pregnant. I don't think Danielle believes her, nor do I. I'm not sure of the reasoning behind that strategy at all.
  • Danielle, but of course, had to leave the HOH to see what's going on in the kitchen. If she's this into things all the time at home... her poor kids can't get away with anything!
  • Erika told Kaysar that Danielle hasn't told her what result she wants this week in the eviction. [Editor's note: She knows darn well that Danielle wants them to vote Kaysar out! However, I personally think that Danielle wouldn't be crushed if it were James... her goal of one S6 out would be achieved either way. I think that James spending points in the POV, especially for the phone call, made her realize that he'll do what he wants to do, not what she wants him to do and that perhaps he feels too secure for his own good.]
  • Kaysar told Eirka that he feels bad about what happened to James last year and he's not going to judge him. He also told her that he thinks Danielle wants to keep James, break up S6, then James will float. He thinks James and Danielle are probably working together, but isn't sure.
  • Kaysar also thinks that Danielle has little use for him (Kaysar) as she really can't use him... she knows he figures things out for himself.
  • Erika again got all emotional about the stress, Alison face, lack of food and so on and so forth. She wants a DOR - Demand of Release - a voluntary exit from the show. She said she must have food.
  • Janelle and Kaysar know that Danielle is campaigning to keep James and that James has turned on the S6 Players. Alas, what they don't know is that their alliances with Mike/Will aren't the only alliances with Mike/Will and that no one knows what Mike/Will will really do until it's done.
  • Janelle is deliberately trying to get under Danielle's skin and make her angry.
  • Kaysar thinks George may be voting for him to stay after their bonding session, but he's totally unaware that George has a deal with Danielle. George didn't commit to Kaysar.
  • It's finally dawning on Kaysar and Janelle that they are being used by James, he's been acting since the nominations and is in the thick with Danielle. [Editor's note: DUH, guys! You should have known from the get go not to trust him! A snake never changes its rattles. Or something like that!]

And the saga will continue... once they're up and about for the day.

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Report - Into The Evening Tuesday 8/08

Well, now that the show aired the POV Comp, it's easy to see how the houseguests weren't sure who won what. In a way, it was rather eerie with the graveyard set-up, but I think it was an excellent competition set to instill distrust and uneasiness over the house. As if they didn't have enough of distrust and uneasiness! And, now you can see why I was confused from what they were saying in the house about who won what.

Here are the events from Tuesday late afternoon and into the evening from that Big Brother House of Loose-Lipped Liars and Ne'er-do-wells:
  • Despite the devil duckie gone missing, George's chicken necklace vanished and the tarantula cage open... these houseguests haven't really thought anything except game. [Editor's note: @@ Eyeroll alert! In past seasons, they looked for whatever BB may have done while they were in outdoor lockdown. Now they're just all hung up in their own dreamworld strategies.]
  • Danielle told James she didn't intend to backdoor Kaysar.
  • Mike Boogie and Janelle talked about Howie not winning comps and Mike asked if it were between them (M & J), should he throw it to her? She told him no - she'd give it to him, but they must go after Danielle.
  • George warned Howie to "watch out for the boys." When George asked Howie why Will doesn't get nominated, Howie told him it was because he throws comps and isn't seen as a big threat. [Editor's note: Will won his season and threw every comp. Nuff said.]
  • Janelle told Will she would date him. His reply? "I would, too."
  • Will told Janelle that he's "honest to a fault in this game." [Editor's note: COUGH.]
  • Janelle told Will that Erika was working Boogie every minute. He replied, "He's solid, we're solid." [Editor's note: Does Janelle have a problem with women? Is Marcellas right in that Janelle wants to be the only woman in the house? Hmmm...]
  • Howie visited the Jack Shack... again. He is NOT the Master of his Domain.
  • James told Danielle that Kaysar indeed fought to save Erika. Danielle had thought that Kaysar lied about that.
  • Erika isn't "working" anyone this evening that I can see. She's very lethargic. She's on slop and I don't think she's even eating much of that.
  • Janelle and Kaysar had a pillowfight. Now, there's fun. I guess. To me, it's only fun when feather pillows are used and they break open. I think I'm reliving my childhood. Nevermind.
  • Janelle is thinking of wearing her black dress for the live show as it will be a very black day.
  • James told Mike Boogie in his goodbye speech he plans to tell Kaysar, "I wanted to play as a team, but you [BLEEPED] me, so... goodbye!"

And so it goes on...

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Report - Tuesday 8/05 Daytime

Before I get into the day's events on the live feeds, I'd like to respond to a few things mentioned in comments. So, bear with me, please! First - Sue wondered why, when Danielle was previously one of her favorite houseguests in her season, she seems to have changed (nothing to do with her noms - they were good on a strategical level). Sue wondered if I had similar feelings. Yup. I too like Danielle and think she's one of the best game-players in the house. I think the change this season might be who she's chosen as an ally. We looked at Jason and... who couldn't like him and think it was the perfect cover? Now, James doesn't play smart. He's all over the map with lies and will be more of a liablity to her. I think that may be the difference.

And, I apologize to the state of Ohio for my "forehead the size of..." (in reference to James) comment. Heehee! I didn't mean to malign the state.

Onto the day's events in that Big Brother House of Swelling Egos and a Flatulent Floater:
  • This morning Danielle and Mike Boogie talked about Kaysar. She said that he can't be honorable if he lies and that she told him "expect the unexpected" just to throw him off.
  • She also told him that she's the "mole" in the floaters and James is her "mole" for S6.
  • Danielle also mentioned talking to James about the show pre-show. [Editor's note: But we knew that. James seems to have called many of the HG pre-season. Interesting, eh?]
  • She said that Kaysar thinks the vote will be 3-3 and she'll keep him. She told Will/Boogie not to tell their votes to anyone - let it be a secret.
  • Danielle, James and Mike Boogie spent a chunk of time trashtalking Janelle. Oh, well... not unexpected.
  • Mike continued to lie about his actual winnings from the POV comp. I guess we'll see tonight why they don't seem to know what each other won.
  • James said he'd been setting Janelle up for the fall for weeks.
  • Danielle and James think the vote will be 5-1 for Kaysar to leave.
  • Erika begged Big Brother for food. I mean BEGGED. She's cracking.
  • Will wants BB to give them a puppy. Or a dolphin. Um... okay.
  • After an outdoor lockdown, BB had been up to stuff. One of the devil duckies is missing off the wall in the bathroom and the camera kept focusing on the spot where it had been.
  • Will/Boogie whispered in the storeroom about "we'll just tell her we had to change our vote. James is too big of a threat." [Editor's note: Aha! Aha!]
  • Another cam started zooming in on the tarantula cage and a nearby sign said "Do Not Open" and the side door of the cage seems to be open. [Editor's note: Arachnids on the run! They want out of the drama!]
  • Janelle told Howie she can't play for Veto next week. Something to do with POV, I assume. It might be something she gave up to win. She asked him not to tell anyone. So... shhh... folks, don't tell anyone!
  • So, then she told Kaysar.
  • George said his chicken necklace is missing. [Editor's note: Duh, houseguests! You're all so wrapped up in strategies that you're not noticing BB did STUFF! Sheesh!]
  • Danielle, Marcellas and Erika studied for the HOH comp (thinking it's due to be questions) much like Howie and Janelle are always studying.
  • Janelle swore revenge on Danielle.

And, that's that!

'Big Brother 7: All Stars' - Live Feeds Digest - Evening and Overnight Into Tuesday

Oh, things aren't looking too good for the Kaysar man, not at all. Unless the coup d'etat that Julie hinted at happens affecting this eviction, he's most likely out the door once again.

Here are the more important schemings and dealings from last night and overnight from that Big Brother house of Turning Tides:
  • Will and Mike Boogie seem to think Kaysar will be going (and they were two votes some think will be for Kaysar).
  • They think it will be 5-1 for him to go with Janelle's vote nullified by James. Howie would be the one remaining vote.
  • James told Chicken George he wouldn't ask for votes, but he asks to do what's best for him (George) in the house. [Editor's note: Thus implying that he should vote with the house rather than from the heart.]
  • Some of the houseguests made a fake rock video with Howie on air drums. It was nice to see some laughs in the house.
  • Danielle and Erika decided that if someone were to come back, they'd want it to be Diane.
  • James fussed to Danielle that Kaysar went to Erika campaigning for a vote. [Editor's note: And, that's not allowed?]
  • BB gave George some Gas-X for his um... condition. The house will love it if it works.
  • Danielle and Erika said the show fans will hate them for taking out their favorite - Kaysar. [Editor's note: Maybe. We'll see. I personally think Danielle is playing the game well. Erika? I don't have her quite figured out yet.]
  • Kaysar talked to Mike Boogie about how he's ready to play due to recent events (nomination). Mike actually hedged and didn't commit to anything except that Kaysar would be tough to be against at the end. [Editor's note: Oh, Kaysar... Mike does NOT want you in the Final Two! Not that Mike will make it into the Final Two, mind you. He should be gone long before then, I would think.]
  • They headed towards bed rather early (not that they necessarily slept) - Danielle made a point to settle in the Bug Room with a group oof the others. She has to keep tabs on folks, y'know!
  • Danielle and Marcellas say that Howie needs to grow up and stop becoming threatening each time noms don't go the way he wants.
  • Erika told Danielle that she thinks James should go on the block next week (again) and this time, be voted out. [Editor's note: Erika realizes he won't keep his word to anyone and is working all sides of the house. Not that she isn't doing the same, but at least she's not as blatant about it.]
  • Danielle is upset that "Kaysar has to leave." Although she put it all in motion, she honestly seems to like him a lot.

And there ya go...
